Hey guys, it's Nate aka the Foot
Accountant. Welcome back to the channel.
EA might have just dropped the biggest
bombazo yet before FC 27 and that is the
announcement of the Hall of Foot cards.
Now, we kind of knew about these. It's
not an icon, it's not a hero, it's a
FIFA legend in this Hall of Foot
release. But now we know official names,
stats, and PlayStyle Plus's for all of
these players that won't be in packs
from the start of the year. They're
going to be somewhere else inside of the
token store. What I want to do today is
talk about how we obtain these cards and
how it's so exciting to have these FIFA
legends back in Ultimate Team, but how
it might be a little bit frustrating to
actually acquire them and how we have so
many questions around how EA is going to
allow us to obtain these cards. Let's
get into the discussion today, guys. If

start with the big tweet because EA
dropped this tweet yesterday and it kind
of shook the whole entire community
because yeah, we knew what Hall of Foot
cards were. We had seen the leaks and EA
has even talked about them in regards to
the five Hall of Foot players that are
going to be in one of the Ultimate Plus
Edition player picks that we had as a
pre-order reward, right? We've got
Giovani dos Santos, Adebayo Akinfenwa,
Marouane Fellaini, Loïc Rémy, and Eljero
Elia as the five players that we can get
from the pre-order player pick. But
these Hall of Foot cards, again, are not
icons, are not heroes. They are Foot
Culture Legends, a new card type, which
we think is going to give hero chemistry
because as you take a look at all of
these players, as we look at the
official cards here, which bring back so
many memories, it just has a nation and
it just has a league. So, I think it's
been confirmed that it's just going
going be hero type chemistry for these
cards. But, these are the official stats
and the official players for the Hall of
Foot. We've seen the Giovani dos Santos,
we've seen the Akinfenwa, but Doumbia
and Gervinho are going back to Hall of
Foot cards after being heroes in the
past 2 years of this game. You've got
Florenzi at right back, Guarin with
power shot plus in the midfield. I used
him in FIFA 15 so much. Fellaini with
the hair trait and precision header
plus. He's had so many good cards
in previous FIFAs. Emmanuelle Emenike,
Błaszczykowski,
Balotelli with the low driven pluses. An
85-rated card, an 87 shooting. And
that's just the first page. The second
page of players brings back Hulk and
David Luiz. Man, it's been so long since
I've used David Luiz and Hulk. Some
absolute FIFA legends. And that is the
beauty of this, guys. It is like the
nostalgia overload, taking you back to
those many years ago where we used those
players in FIFA and had so much fun
using them. That is the by far and away
number one thing that we're seeing and
that we're getting from this is the fact
that you've got some of these players
that haven't been in the game for years
returning. Theo Walcott was the guy that
everybody was trying to get to run down
the wing. He's got 96 pace and a rapid
plus in FC 27. Antonio Valencia, one of
the craziest Team of the Week one
investments all time. What year was
that? Maybe like FIFA 18.
Either FIFA 17, 18, or 19, I think. He
had a right back card and it went crazy,
crazy, crazy on the market. Micah
Richards has been relegated from a hero
to a Hall of Foot card, as has Barboza.
Miguel Layun isn't here. Aiden McGeady.
Pato, how can I skip over him? There are
so many amazing names that are in this
list and the cards look fantastic. I
think they've chosen good play style
pluses for all of them. And I think the
stats look pretty good as well. Like,
honestly,
like, these cards aren't going to be in
packs, but if you said you were going to
get a guaranteed Hall of Foot player
pack, like, there's only a a of them
that I would look at and say
I don't really want them. Most of these
cards are W's in terms of the pace, in
terms of the play style pluses, in terms
of what that player will offer you on
the pitch from how you know they're
going to Even Emenike, 80 dribbling but
enforcer plus an 88 pace with 85
physical. Bro, as long as he's tall
enough, I'd have to remember back and
check his height, but would definitely
be lengthy, which would be a huge boost
for his pace in game as long as that is
actually still the meta in 27. It may
not be, who knows, but all of these
cards look pretty usable and they're
also not that high rated. So, a couple
of months down the line into this game,
we're already starting to think about
Evo opportunities, but the thing is I
don't want to just get Hulk. I don't
want to just get David Luiz or Theo
Walcott. I would like to collect them
all and that's where the question start
to arise with how we get these cards.
And of course, EA's already told us how
we get them. We knew this before, but
they're explaining it here for us really
nice and easy. Complete and grade
gallery sets, earn gallery tokens, and
redeem them in the gallery store for the
base Hall of Foot players. That's why I
said these guys will not
be in packs for their base versions from
the start of the year. Jamie Foot
Economist in that big question and
answer session that he hosted on Twitter
a while back also confirmed this. He
said icons and heroes will have base
items in packs from launch. Base Hall of
Foot items will be exclusive to the
gallery token store, but all three
classes of items will be eligible to
receive future campaign cards. So, I
mean, not that we wouldn't expect this,
but a David Luiz promo card could come
out. A Balotelli promo card could come
out later on in the year, but at least
for the first start of the year, for the
first bit of the year, which that time
frame has not been really talked about
here. Uh they will only be available in
the gallery token store. But I hope
they're available there all year long
because this gives the gallery some sort
of a grindable aspect in terms of a a
motivation. Like we want to get those
cards and this is the way that we have
to get them, guys. It is through the
gallery store. Now, a lot of people
don't like the looks of the gallery. I
think it is my number one most favorite
addition to FC 27 in terms of new
features go inside of Ultimate Team.
We've got the new SBC system. I still
have some questions about that. We'll
see how good that is, but this is so
easy. As I've tweeted about and as I've
explained, if you've watched this video,
if you've seen any of my other content
from when I was actually on the FC 27
early beta version of the game, you just
press one button to fill a squad,
to fill a set, and then you press
another button to grade it. It can be as
easy as that as you just progress
through the game and you play the game
normally, you open packs, you buy
players, they all fit into these sets,
or you can go crazy with it and
specifically chase players and buy
specific players that you know you're
going to need to get a higher grade.
That is the whole entire point. As you
acquire players, you're trying to
increase your grade. And again, these
players aren't getting submitted into
this set. They are not disappearing. I'm
not turning in two inform Donnarummas
into this set right here. All of these
players could still be in my club. I
could have even bought one of those
Donnarummas and quick sold it and it
would still count for the gallery. Any
card that enters in that
uh send to transfer list, send to club,
or quick sell section, unassigned of the
game. Any card that enters into there
whatever means possible, whether it was
claiming an SBC or objective player,
packing a card, or buying it, they count
for this gallery. Even if you quick sell
them, they still count for this gallery
and that makes things super duper easy.
It's going to allow us to fill up these
sets, I think, a lot easier. But it's
super easy, right? You just press a
button, you press a button, you grade
it, and then you're going after rewards.
Now, as you can see here, I'm in the
middle of grading
this Premier League set. And these sets
are set up between leagues, clubs,
nationalities, and even rarity types
between the cards. I got a B grade on
this set, which is going to allow me, as
you can see here, to get gallery tokens.
Now, not all of these sets give gallery
tokens as all the rewards. I did a Aston
Villa set, I believe, earlier down here,
and I went and bought some players for
it. I was at grade D for this set, and I
only got a kit, I think it was, for the
reward for this, so it wasn't actually
that good of a reward. But, at some
point, as you level up these sets, as
you get higher-rated players, which have
a higher score, which then, of course,
in turn gives you a higher gallery grade
as you score higher and higher, you get
more of those tokens. And, of course,
you're trying to max out and go S-tier
grading for all of these sets, or as
many sets as you can get. That is how
we're going to acquire these gallery
tokens, and then go to the token store
and spend them. Now, as you can see
here, this token store that was inside
of the beta was definitely not the final
token store and how it's going to
actually look, cuz you've got like
signed icon cards in here. I think those
are holographic heroes. You've got a
pack, and you've got some kits, right?
This is just an example, for sure, but
this is probably where we're going to
see all of the Hall of Foot cards in the
token store,
like we've just seen here tweeted, for a
certain number of tokens. And that is my
question. How many tokens
are these going to cost? Are we going to
be able to, as the first season or first
two seasons of the year go by, get
enough gallery tokens through not having
to spend a whole lot of coins
to get these cards? Like, let's say one
of these cards is like a couple thousand
tokens or something like that. Because,
I mean, based off of what we saw here, I
I completed the Premier League set, and
I got how many uh gallery tokens was it?
Like, 300 or something like that. I'm
trying to go back here to see. I got Oh,
that's right. I did another set here for
a Team of the week, and I got S tier cuz
I went out and I bought another couple
of informs off of the market with my
coins. That got me to max out this set
level. Look at how many tokens I got.
455 + 271 + 135 + 67 + 22. I don't even
know how many that is, but I had a lot
of tokens. After redeeming all of those,
I go to the store and oh, I had 1,250
tokens. It's kind of behind my face cam.
So, you can get tokens, it seems, kind
of fast if you go and buy all the
players. That's my worry with this is
that you could pay to win it. Now,
saying that, there are a lot of big-time
bonuses for first owner players, and
there's these other tags as well,
whereas you can't necessarily just pay
to win this whole entire gallery setup,
but that's my question. Are EA going to
cap at all the number of gallery tokens
that we can earn in order to limit us
from like getting all of these cards
from having a lot of coins? Cuz in
theory, if you had a lot of coins, you
could go buy a bunch of players, you
could level up your gallery, get tokens
from those rewards, and then
you could get these players. So, that's
the thing that I don't know about yet.
Are they going to limit us on tokens
because they do limit us in FC 26, of
course, right now for like the Footies
tokens that we had or for the preseason
tokens that we have. We have 1,000 per
week or 3,000 per week limit. But with
the gallery, it's different because
those are not tokens that you're earning
from like gameplay as rewards. You're
earning them from just playing the game
through the menus and doing the
collection book process. So, that's one
of the main questions that I have is how
are they going to limit us through this?
And I even tweeted about this because I
could already see this sort of
happening. I said, "I beg that EA leave
these in the gallery store for the
entire game. Then we could collect them
all and evolve them over time so that we
don't have to rely on packing a promo
version of one of these players to
actually go ahead and use them." And
again, if this is there for the whole
entire game, sure, in March when
84-rated cards are way behind the power
curve and we're up to like two or three
PlayStyle Plus at that point, probably I
I guess two with the new power curve
this year in FC 27, in March these cards
won't be usable, but if I could go still
and pick up Akinfenwa and then Evo him
through like five different Evos, get
him to 89 or 90-rated with two PlayStyle
Plus, then heck yeah, that would be
motivating and that would be fun. That
is what I hope happens with this Gallery
Store and with these Hall of Fame
players.
Is that they're out for the whole entire
year, so that we have something to kind
of grind and chase for and so that we
can experience that nostalgia of these
FIFA legends anytime we want to, right?
Of course, there's going to be promo
versions of these cards that are out
there as well, but if you have the base
version always available in the store,
you can always get them, start evolving
them the way that you want them to get
boosted, and you'll have that Hall of
Fame card to build your own way. So, I
hope I hope I hope I hope that that is
one of the scenarios there. Let me know

is our first reaction to seeing all of
these Hall of Fame cards, how they're
going to look. Of course, that's the
huge nostalgia push here is like, "Wow,
I want to use all of these players." But
then the next question comes in my mind,
how many of them am I actually going to
use? How much work is it actually going
to take? How much are these going to
cost? And those questions we don't have
an answer to yet. So, drop down below in

I thought it was pretty funny. Remember
at the beginning of FC 26, they didn't
allow us to Evo silver icon cards. Are
they going to not allow us to Evo Hall
of Fame cards at the beginning as well?
It's a bit different cuz these aren't
silver and low-rated. They're 84 to
85-rated, so they're not going to fit
into Evos right away anyway, but if
these cards are obtainable within the
first couple of weeks of the game, they
are going to be some of the most popular
cards people are going for in the game.
