Well, today I am waterproofing the water
tank, which means I have to completely
empty it.
>> I'm like halfway there.

Okay, there's something I want to test,
which is if the bathtub is emptying, is
it going to flood out into the floor
here? Now, when I laid out the pipes, I
tried to make it so this one would shoot
past where the pipe I don't remember the
exact geometry, but that one should not
it should it should kind of Let's just
see how it if I did it right.
So, if I pour this in here,
it's definitely above the level of the
floor, but water should still not come
out here. Oh, beautiful.
So good. Oh, totally.

I don't think I did the same thing with
the drain for the sink which comes out
down here and I don't remember exactly.

the tile part spot here. The uh ladder

I don't know. It's like that deep. So,
I'm going to pump this until this can't
get any more. And then I'll probably
have like half an inch in the bottom I
have to soak up with a sponge or
something.
I need to put a little cover over this
to aim those down cuz when you pump it
back squirts up over the sides.
which isn't really a problem right now
cuz the floor is already covered in
water.

>> I wasn't sure if we'd have enough paint
to get in here, too. So, we decided to
just get all that room done first. Oh,
and why why sky blue? So, I think at
least my plan is to paint everything sky
blue and then, you know, paint scenery
on it. Paint some clouds up there and
some, I don't know, grass and some maybe
a beach or some forest, some trees, some
monsters roaming around. I like, you
know, paint like a like a scene idea for
it.

do for this is basically

Just need to make a little stainless
steel thing here. This will be fine for
the moment though. I mean, really, I
should have drilled these holes a little
bit lower, but I didn't. So, I could
also make this a little bit higher.
Whatever.
I just put a thing in there. It's fine.
Starting to get bubbles.
That means it's sucking air up the
bottom.
So, I'm almost at the maximum of what
this will pull out of the tank. It's
still going though. So,
All right, looks like that's it for this
thing.

some got to roll over some of it a
little bit, like where there's blobs and
then yeah, just to even it out a little,
but other than that, this is looking
great. All right, I kind of made a mess
of the floor.

Now, this would go down the floor drain,
except the floor here is a little bit
lower than the drain.
At the entrance to the bathroom, the
floor is high enough and then it kind of
dips down and comes back up. I have
these two little pieces of wood
that mark the level the floor needs to
come up to.
So, I need to get some
some cement in here, some concrete with
no rocks or maybe tiny rocks.

glass. Anyway, um and if I mix this, get
out of here, bug. If I mix this
one part water glass with three parts or
four parts, something like that water,
then I can use it as a sealant for
concrete. So, uh
got to figure out how to apply it to the
walls and the bottom. How's it going?

spot down there, so it got it mostly
down.

I think I think I might use my sprayer.

Yeah, this guy. I actually don't know if
the water glass will react with the
metal part of the sprayer at all. But
I'll just use it quickly and rinse it
out.
The other thing is I've never used this
stuff before. I don't know how much
I don't know how much to put on. How
much is it?
I guess I'll just
make a guess.
And I think I'll put it on I think I'll
put a little bit less water in than I
think it said 4 one chug. Maybe I'll go
two one because the water tank here is
still wet.
So you know that'll that'll account for
some of the water. And
yeah, the sink's a little wet, too. You
see it's wet up to here. It's funny. If
this stuff works, this will be gone.
cuz this is this is wet and this is dry.

soak in like this.
Uh little kids, did you did you hear
something coming from this hole? I think
there's a monster in this hole.

It says this stuff is a skin and eye
irritant, so I obviously don't want to
get it on myself or on any kids.
One kid already told me he read the
label.

I don't know how much. Well, it says
it's an irritant, which means it's
probably not
not that bad. Like cement is an
irritant. Get that on my stomach all the
time. And it is irritating, but it's not
that bad.

into there and then it builds up
pressure and then when you push the
thing, it squirts them off. Oops.
And if I set it to the right kind of
spray, it'll spray like an even mist to
get good coverage on the whole area in
there.

All right. Uh, I guess I should get the
underside of them there.

little bit. Put most of it in here.
And
then with my last little bits, I sprayed
this stone because I want to I want it
to be on something so I can see if it's
different. I got some on this one, too.
These are just temporary. But yeah, this
one I got some on. But this one I got a
lot on. So when this dries and then it
rains out here, hopefully water beads up
on this where it soaks in on all the
other ones. And I didn't put a ton on
here, but you know, enough that it made
it wet.
I don't know. I guess I'll see if
hopefully it works. I don't know. Do not
use or spill on glass surfaces as water
glass cannot be removed once dry. Wow,
this will stick to glass like crazy. All
right. Does it say anything about to
seal blah floor to harden surface? Blah
blah blah. Dilute 4:1. Yeah, I did like
3 to one because my stuff was already a
little wet. Mop on surface and let dry
thoroughly. Repeat two or more times to
get the desired results. All right, so
maybe I have to do this again.
But let it totally dry first. That's
probably going to take a while to dry.
Uh, maybe I should put a fan up here and
blow some air through or something.
I need to make sure this does not
collect any water until it's completely
dry. I don't know how long that's going
to take. So, I disconnected the the in
for the water. This is the water
collection,
you know, that comes from that tube and
comes from the the kitchen stainless
steel roof next door.
So,
yeah, just pulled it out of there. Oops.
Yeah. And the walls are looking amazing.
Ah, the water tank was still wet. Like
the concrete was still wet when they
painted here. So, you know, it's sweated
out a little bit of whatever. It's fine.
Yeah, we just barely had enough paint to
get this part all done. I think it's
looking great. This is just the base
coat. Of course, there will be Well, I
don't know. My kids told me they have
some ideas for scenes.
One idea was to make this this whole
section here a winter scene, so it could
be pretty much just white. So, we could
put the projector back here and that can
be the movie spot.
So, that might end up happening. But
then other spots, you know, sunny scenes
and stuff. So, when you're hanging out
in here, it just feels like a nice day.
And we did not do the bathroom yet. I
mean, we started a little bit, but
uh I don't know what's going to go on in
here. Maybe we'll have the same paint
job
or not. I don't know. Now that we didn't
do it yet, I'm going to have to go get
some paint so I can think about what we
want to do.
Nah,
I was just thinking for a six-year-old,
an 8-year-old, and a 15year-old, they
did a pretty good job.
But yeah, there's a bit of sloppiness in
there. I don't know what happened here.
Paint's only supposed to go up to there.
So,
and if I get it off in the next few
hours, it'll be easy. If I wait till
tomorrow though, it'll be hard to get it
off.
