Video summary

A map twice as big as GTA 5's, NPCs having 600,000 animations, a new six-star wanted system, Jason and Lucia their romantic relationship being completely dependent on you the player and how you decide to play this game. These are a few of the many, many brand new details I'll bring you today within this GTA 6 Netflix extended reveal trailer breakdown and things you may have missed or details you need to know. Let's go. How's it going, guys? My name's DPG. If you did enjoy the video, leave it a like. Really helps me out. And if you like what you see and want to see more, be sure to subscribe. So, the GTA 6 Netflix extended reveal was absolutely incredible. I'm pretty sure you will agree. Now, if you like me, caught a few of the leaks, you will know full well Cyber Leaks did an absolutely terrible job of portraying this game. What we saw from this Netflix reveal was on another level. In this video, we're going to go over brand new details and things you may have missed from the latest 25-minute gameplay reveal. So, first things first, everything we saw within the Netflix reveal, how incredibly it looked, the graphics, the gameplay, all of it was running on the base PS5. That has been confirmed from multiple different sources, which at first I did feel was kind of hard to believe, but then I realized Red Dead 2 ran on the last gen, and that was way ahead of its time graphics and performance-wise. So, seeing this, witnessing this gameplay, if it was anyone other than Rockstar, I probably wouldn't believe it. So, let's talk a little more about the gameplay, the way it looked, that performance, and what gives it that oh-so-real feeling. Well, for me, well, mainly anyway, was the movement of the players and the NPCs. It was the animations within their movements, the facial expressions we were seeing. It looks like nothing I've ever seen from actual gameplay, and especially on PS5. But I can actually confirm, guys, there was there literally over 600,000 NPC animations within this game. Now, if you compare that to Red Dead 2, that's twice as many. If you compare that to GTA 5, that only had 55,000 NPC animations. So, this game has more or less 10 times more, or even more than that, actually, which is staggering to think about. But then again, we are witnessing the results of exactly this within this review. It's just unbelievable. Now, beyond this, it's just how populated the environment seemed as well. And at the same time, we saw glimpses of gameplay within nightclubs and other populated spots. And it just didn't look real. It really didn't. Now, it's similar in scope to what we saw within the initial trailers of Cyberpunk, the early gameplay trailers of that. But at release, that certainly wasn't the case. It wasn't what we got in game. And it wasn't until CDPR incorporated countless patches many, many months later, even years, that before the actual game caught up to what we were promised. I actually don't think this will be an issue here with Rockstar. If this was gameplay played on a base PS5, I think what we're seeing here is actually what we're going to get. So, we saw plenty of gameplay slices from this reveal, where Jason and Lucia take part in many different missions and activities. Now, details of such missions, we don't need to go into specifically, because we don't really know the time frame of what we're seeing here with regards to the gameplay story. But what I can confirm is the story within GTA 6 is said to be 80 hours long, which is both scary and great when you consider everything else that's going to be on offer here, too, like side missions, side activities, and so forth. But, with regards to gameplay between both, well, it's quite clear there's a relationship going on here between Lucia and Jason. Actually, Rockstar have confirmed it's up to the player and how far this relationship goes, and there's a loads to this, also. So, there's a confirmed optional romance between the two that can be managed by the player, you, and what you do in your time outside of the main story missions. So, there's ways to strengthen your relationship by doing things like shopping together, visiting hair salons, or even doing side missions like robbing stores of sorts. So, yeah, when you are parted, messages will be sent between the two. If the player ignores said messages, it can directly impact the relationship and the route it's taking. I mean, this is a proper relationship between the two, where you sleep together, you wake together, you live together, you shower together, you coffee together, and so forth. I mean, there's a lots to this, and I'm certain the details we have here are just scratching the surface. I really do think that. Now, what I will say is it isn't a part of any story or objective to keep this relationship going. You don't have to do that. And that does and will result in massive relationship differences when the two are doing missions together, from the way they talk to each other, and possibly how they watch each other's back. But, whatever the relationship, just a friendship or a romantic relationship, you can call upon each other to help. And you can effortly switch between the two at any time, as well, um which is very, very interesting. It's nothing new here. This isn't a new feature. We've seen this in countless games. It does look quite flawless here. Now, interesting to note, when you switch between the two, you can see the status of your relationship with the heart, which was a great spot actually from my daughter watching it with me. So, yeah. Okay, so we're going to move on and before we do, check out gameplay features, let's quickly talk about the map. So, it's confirmed to be three times the size of Red Dead Redemption 2's, which is pretty big from what we saw here. It looks staggeringly massive, which would equate to about double the size of GTA 5's, which is really impressive. Now, it's said that rewards come from exploration and there seems to be a lot to indeed explore. This can be done on foot in vehicles like cars, bikes, scooters, mopeds. We have boats, jet skis. We have planes, choppers and I believe countless other ways to save our own energy. Now, the open world is confirmed massive, but it actually gets crazy because it's also been confirmed that hundreds of buildings across the open world can be fully explored in regards to vertical levels and we saw this heavily within this reveal from bars on roofs to swimming pools on roofs to multi-floor apartment buildings where you go between floors and much, much, more. Now, in regards to gameplay and the mechanics here, they are very GTA-like, which we all expected, but there are a few things you may have missed in regards to features and new additions. Firstly, the 3D mini-map. Now, I ain't sure if this is only a feature when in a car as I didn't see or spot it elsewhere, but it is a cool new feature. Another thing now is the six-star wanted system. Now, I am intrigued to what these six stars actually bring, but in all honesty, it just may be what the five-star system brought last time and the one system has just been expanded on due to a criminal activities you can take part in. We don't know. But what we do know is the police will indeed learn in this game from the car you are driving to the appearance of your characters. It's also confirmed that if Jason and Lucia split after being chased by the police, it can actually deter the police, too, the same as changing your clothes or your vehicle. The system of hiding has been expanded upon, too. For instance, if you run down an alley and hide behind a bin out of the sight of police, this can result in those uh lowered uh wanted stars being lost. Now, a couple of features I spotted, namely Jason and Lucia, both having hot bars, which isn't anything new, but when it comes to robbing stores, we witness Lucia putting a mask, which I'm guessing is part of a system within the game of hiding your identity of sort. Something similar was in Crimson Desert. We also see that both Lucia and Jason do have different health bars, uh where we also see Jason when aiming gains end of a status bar, which I believe is indeed that bullet time, which basically slows down time, allowing you to pick that target better. Cool. Now, I want to move on to actual apartments. Now, I'd eat my boxes if we ain't able to purchase different properties, uh but the one we do see within this reveal does behold many exciting features, like being able to select certain drinks from your fridge. Now, I did read somewhere previously uh that we'd be able to go shopping for food and be able to store them. I didn't actually believe that until I've seen this, so yeah. We also saw an advert on the TV, which is being watched by Jason. Not that it feature to watch television. We see this within Cyberpunk 2077, where you can actually sit down and watch uh TV, adverts, and a couple of game shows and things of that nature, so yeah. And we also saw a new mechanic in stealing cars, where a crowbar is used, or there wasn't an indicator on the screen to just smash the window, which is probably what most people are going to do. Uh but yeah, I'm guessing there's a way of getting into the car without setting off the alarm, which again won't attract nearby uh pedestrians or NPCs. So, yeah. We also see, uh, mechanics and features like being able to take the roofs down within convertible cars. And I'd imagine many, many, many other things too will be incorporated into the game. Uh, all classics of changing radio stations, but maybe other things, I don't know. Uh, putting on lights, maybe even windscreen wipers if it's raining, things of that nature. Who knows? Now, sticking with cars and activities around them, we see legit in-game night street racing. Where cars are full of decals. We see a GT-R probably trying to give off the impression of proper street racing, which I absolutely love. I was getting sort of a Need for Speed, uh, Fast and Furious vibes from this small snippet we did see, but yeah, I cannot wait to see more of this. Now, this will no doubt just be one of hundreds of activities you can do within this game. Uh, some we see within this reveal from uh, racing cars, dirt bikes, jet skis, and much more. But, other activities we are able to do are going to the gym. We saw a nice little snippet of you having to press buttons at the same time. Now, this could just be a part of, um, Lucia's routine. Something you may have to do, I don't know. We also see her running through a firing range. We see swimming. We know we can explore underwater. We see a snippet of what looks like wrestling. And actual circuit racing, too. We also see Lucius skydiving. Um, we see Jason playing basketball. May just be something you can do anytime. I mean, we see all sorts of things here within this regard. So, yeah. We don't know exactly what's what. Other interesting things to talk about is the clear difference between that night and day life. It seems they are pushing within this reveal. The difference is, so, no pun intended, night and day. I feel this system will play a huge part, um, in regards to the game's core. Daytime, probably for missions and things of that nature. Nighttime is for partying in the many different ways this game will indeed offer from casinos to strip clubs to street parties to racing to drinking to all sorts. People, I guess it's up to the player what they do within their time, but the nightlife in GTA 6 looks pretty impressive. Now, I have no doubt missed tons and tons from this reveal. I will go back over it, but a few of the things interesting I want to speak about. Um it seems as though there's a fully functioning social media feature within the game like live streams happening on the fly much like TikTok and the Insta lives, which is actually kind of mad to think about. We also see a snippet of where you are petting and playing with a dog. Now, we do see multiple animals within this reveal from wildlife through domestic. Uh I wouldn't actually be surprised if you can actually have your very own pets within this game whether you can have them as an ally or whether you keep them at your apartment. Who knows? People, but yes, the reveal was earlier on today. These basically what I jotted down I wanted to speak about. I probably will go back over the trailer a couple more times to see if I can find anything else. If any other details are dropped on GTA 6, I will have you covered right here on my channel. Guys, if you enjoyed it, leave me a like it really does help me out. If you like what you see and want to see more, be sure to subscribe and hopefully my beautiful people, I will see you on that next one.
