GREAT NEWS JUST DROPPED FOR BALITMORE RAVENS!

It's so crazy how all within a couple of hours we could go from thinking about the worst case scenarios to that's such a relief. Yesterday when Nate Wiggins got carded off by the Baltimore Ravens in training camp, a lot of us were thinking, "Oh no, here we go. Is his season getting ready to be over before it even got started. He couldn't put any weight on his leg." A lot of us were thinking just all the worst about Nate Wiggins. And why not? Because we've been through scenarios like this before. We've heard about it before, whether it's Ravens training camp or other teams, too. When players got to get helped off the field, when they can't put any weight on their leg, it's never a good thing. But then all of a sudden, we started getting some updates and those updates really changed everything. We heard that there was some positive news on Nate Wiggins leg. But then from Ian Rabport, he started off with the following. He said there's no structural damage for Nate Wiggins. Good news for Baltimore. But even with that, I was still like, uh, okay. like you're not really telling me much with that. I need more. I need something more official. So then Jeff Ree said, "Okay, you know what? I got y'all Ravens fans." So he said the following. As Rap Sheet reported, the Ravens uh after Nate Wiggins MRI believed that the young quarterback avoided a major injury per source. So that part, thank goodness. But it didn't stop there. It got even better because he also said he could be sidelined for a bit, but his goals apart right here. This a big butt right here. He said, "But the expectation is that he's back sooner RATHER THAN LATER." SO WHEN JEFF RI AND ESPECIALLY with it being Jeff Riick that said that, you know, it's officially official because I was thinking, "Okay, man. Nate Wiggins, he got carded off." Oh boy, here we go. But Jeff Reeic, not only saying that Nate Wiggins is going to be back, but he's saying that Nate Wiggins is going to be back sooner rather than later. My goodness. This causes this is cause for celebration. It it straight up is and you know how we going to celebrate if this video gets at least 500 likes and we love this news. I seen some jokes, but people was like, "Oh man, now we're going to have to rely on Marlon Humphrey as cornerback one." Look, think about that with Mullen Humphrey, um, with TJ Te with with all of our entire secondary, the scheme should help all of them so much from jump. Having a pass rush should help all of them so much from jump. So whenever Nate Wiggins is playing or if he's not playing whenever he comes back and whenever he's not out there the pass the the the whole Jesse Mentor era should help this defense times 10 so much last year they were put in bad positions before the plays even got started. I know y'all know, y'all remember like these quarterbacks, they were playing like 10 yards off the receiver. It would be third and four, it would be second and five. And these quarterbacks would be 10 yards off, no lie, no exaggeration, off of the wide receivers. They would give them so much space. They would give them so much cushion. And then of course, we didn't have 90 mK last year, but we had him the year before and our defense was still bad. But now we have somebody who's not just a good pass rusher, but we got somebody that is a dominant pass rusher in Trey Hendrickson. So again, the personnel that we're adding, we got Kas Campbell, we got uh even more seasoned Travis Jones, but again, the scheme is the biggest thing that's going to make the biggest impact on this team. Shout out to Eric Dcasta for maybe it's because he ain't get a deal that was good enough because Jess Reik also reported a couple days ago on TJ Tampa and he said the following. He said the Ravens have gotten trade calls on Tampa over the past 10 months but they are reluctant to move him because they view the 2024 fourth round pick as a capable starter. Tampa hasn't gotten that opportunity yet, but if he keeps playing like this, Jesse Men will almost certainly find ways to get him on the field defensively. Tampa just hasn't given up many plays in camp and has stood out both one-on-one and in team drills. He could be pushing veteran Chidobia Wuzier for that number three outside quarterback role. So that was stated a couple of days before the Nate Wiggins injury happened. So, you know, the Ravens, they got to really be feeling themselves like, "Oh, yeah. We so glad we ain't trade TJ Tampa away." Because something that Eric Dasa said years ago, and it still holds true to today, and it will never not hold true, especially in a passing league, especially with the Ravens, because unfortunately, injuries happen. But he said, "You can never ever have enough corners." And that is so true. So, we glad we still got TJ Tampa. Glad we resigned Chado Auzier. We glad they didn't release Marlon Humphrey cuz that was something that I know I sure thought it was a possibility especially because he would have freed up a significant amount of cap space and Ravens they were a little tight against the cap earlier this offseason but all that stuff got cleared up. So we're looking forward to Nate Wiggins playing this year and like Jess Rick said sooner rather than later. But how are y'all feeling about Nate Wiggins news? Are you feeling good? Oh, you thought the great news stopped that, Nate Wiggins? No, no, no, no. Let me give you even more because Tyler Loop, who has been under heavy criticism from Baltimore Ravens fans all throughout last season and especially the way that last season ended in Pittsburgh, a lot of Ravens fans been having him under the microscope. And you can understand why because even though that kick it it brought us to a new era. Well, thank you, Tyler Loop. A lot of Ravens fans still remember that kick and they felt like that should have been a gimme. But Tyler Loop has said, "You know what? Look, forget all that. I ain't hearing all that noise. I got y'all boys all camp long. I'mma be on point." This came from Jameson Hensley yesterday. He said, "Ravens kicker Tyler Loop had another perfect day. Not not another good day. Not even another great day, but another perfect day." Perfection means no mistakes, no errors, no hiccups, no mess ups. So, Tyler Loop had another perfect day making all not three of his kicks, not four of his kicks, but making all seven of his kicks. But it doesn't stop there because you said Loop is now 33 of 35. So, 94.2% in training camp. So, that's that's beautiful. That's beautiful. But it gets even better. Now, I wonder if the two misses that Jameson and Hansy are talking about are those two confusing kicks where it looked like from the TV angle that Tyler Loop might have missed it, but it was said that he actually made those. I wonder if those are the two kicks or is two completely different kicks. I'm not sure. But anyway, this part right here says Loop is now 33 to 35 uh in training camp and has made all eight of his tries beyond 50 yards. So that is such a beautiful and significant thing for our guy Tyler Loop because not only we want to we need to hear stuff like that and I know it's going to be somebody oh well it's only training camp he got to do it in the real G. Yeah, he does have to do it in a real game, but practice is important. Training is important. That's how you set yourself up to do it in a real game. We obviously know that training camp is a much different situation uh than being in a live game, but it gots to start somewhere. So, the fact that Tyler Loop has been money in training camp, hopefully he can cash them checks in the regular season and playoffs and Super Bowl as well. We feeling real real good today and I hope y'all are too. He said, "My question is, with a few bigname injury scares this week, do you think it will shake our rookie head coach with how he plays out guys in the preseason?" Oh, that's a really good question. That's a really, really good question. Uh, but I will say no because he did say in yesterday's press conference that there will still be some some established guys that play in the preseason. Um, I know he said Lamar Jack, at least this Saturday, he said Lamar ain't playing, but he did say there's going to be some established guys that still do play. So, I I don't think it'll shake him, especially with us getting better news on Nate Wiggins. But, that that's a really really good question. He says, "Sorry if this has already been asked. I'm trying to keep up, but over time has been going crazy for me. Hey, so that money been going crazy for you, too. So So get it, man. You ain't got to apologize for nothing. You ain't got nothing to apologize for at all. He said also the Z hate after what happened was crazy. He was back at practice after like three days, I think. But if I think it was maybe two days like Yeah, because he went down and practiced on Saturday and did they have practice on Sunday? I think they had practice on Sunday. Yeah, they had practice on Sunday. Um, they did not have practice on Monday and No. Yeah, they didn't have practice on Monday and then he came back Tuesday. So, he literally missed One day, I think. Yeah, he he left on Yeah, he he missed one day of practice. That's it. [laughter] I mean, Jesse Men said dayto day and it was literally a day that he missed. Now, they got a little extra day off cuz they they didn't practice it, but he missed a day. So, spot on, man. Anyway, he said, uh, I felt like everyone was dragging his name through the mud. I moved to the US when I was 16 and one the and one of the first football games I ever watched was a Ravens game. I immediately fell in love with the team, but what surprised me even more was how much the Ravens community became a part of my life. Moving to a new country at that age was a big adjustment." Oh yeah, that that had to be. Um cuz like if you move when you like a little kid, there could be a lot of stuff that you don't remember. A lot of stuff that you're not aware of at the time. But moving at 16 to not even a new city, but a new country, everything is different. The customs in that area are different. The the people, the community, the way things are done, everything changes like that. And not even in no like tiny little but a significant way. Um, but anyway, continuing, he said, uh, but moving to a new country at that age was a big adjustment, and being able to find a community through the Ravens gave me a place where I could feel connected, included, and like I belong. It helped me get used to life here in ways I honestly didn't expect. Oh, that's cool, man. That's really, really cool. He said, "That's why I really appreciate creators like you who put so much time and passion into bringing Ravens fans together. Your videos aren't just about football. He said, "A thought that just came to my way says that we'll be running several more three to four wide receiver sets than we've ever seen in the last two decades with the Oh, he said I thought she was about to say two years, but my my guy said two decades uh with the team. Um, and more even from under center." I I agree with that. I'd agree with that. Um, I I do think there's going to be more emphasis put on the passing game, but that would translate to Yeah. more three for Wirus. I I think so. Um especially when you know Jose Flowers is um it seems that Baitman is getting a lot of respect from the coaching staff and obviously Jacobe Lane. Yeah, we just don't stop hearing about him. Um but I think they're going to want to give TZ some shots too. So yeah, I think we could definitely see some a lot of three riders here in sets and then yeah, a little bit of 42. Um, but then with them, they they they've been saying all the right things so far, but they've been giving us reason to believe them because they also said they want to get Derrick Henry more involved in the passing game, too. So, hey, that [snorts] let's see. Let's see. Uh, but and then they they talked about too what you mentioned Lamar being under Cam more. So, they've said all this stuff. They said it's all going to happen. Well, not they haven't said the three four wide receiver says, but when we hear about Jacobe Lint over and over and over and over and over, then it make you think, man, they ain't going to be able to keep that boy off the field, man. They they they they really not. And then this report came out, sorry to get a little sidetracked, but this report came out uh on Jacobe Lane or excer said the 2024 uh fourth round pick has made his share of plays in camp. He looks far more comfortable and assertive than he did last summer. speaking about TZ Walker and he's also managed to avoid the nagging injuries that have dogged him through his first two years. Still, the sense coming into camp was that he was the favorite to be the team's number three wide receiver. Jacobe Lane clearly appears to be that guy now. And fellow rookie Elijah Serat figures to challenge Walker for snaps as well. So with that report, it lets it be known like, oh, okay, well T, he was pushing for that three, but looked like Kobe Lane done leaprogged him. So, that's that's significant right there. But, um, back to your question, he said, "With the recent lack in the tight end room," o, everybody is noticing. Everybody, we just we ain't been hearing nothing about the tight ends like that. We just ain't been hearing like nothing. Anyway, he said, "With the recent lack in the tight end room, how do we not keep the most talent on the field with Flowers, Baitman, Jacobe Lane, and TZ balling at the same time? It'll definitely produce more than those two plus tight end sets we used to have the talent for." To me, it looks like the times have changed, but for the better. Doesn't Jacobe Lane give you Isaiah likely vibes? That's what a lot of people are saying. For me, I I just I get I I just got to see it. I got to see it. But with what's been going on in camp with Lamar like just giving him opportunities, throwing it up to him. That's what Lamar did in the regular season and playoffs with Isaiah likely, he would just give him that shot, giving give him those opportunities. And they had built like a special clutch connection. Like obviously they they built that connection in plays that didn't have to be clutch but in clutch plays as like the everything on the line like Lamar trusted Isaiah likely and Isaiah likely gave him reasons to be trusted. So if [clears throat] he if he going to be like Isaiah Likely but hey but be Jacobe Lane. We ain't got no problem with that at all. So we'll see how it goes. Anyway, he says secondly, this will definitely feed into the minds of ownership when executing in the NFL draft. First and second picks will be Dline quarterback, maybe even a linebacker, and thirds go to offensive players. I feel like we can keep that same strategy, but we'll start to draft more quality offensive products in the mid rounds like the recent hit on Jacobe Lane. It isn't a bad idea, especially since we have so much young talent that's ready to launch. Uh with all of the beforementioned plus Elijah Serat and Leonte West, uh I think it all just depends. It it all depends on what we have on the roster. Uh it depends on how what we have on the roster is executing, how they performing, how they playing. Um so I think all that matters. I can't just say, "Oh yeah, we for sure now going to start drafting offensive players in the late rounds. Uh well, offensive skill players, even though every single position on the football field requires skill. Uh so I don't really like that term, skilled players versus not skilled players. is it's kind of annoying and kind of disrespectful my in my opinion, but it's like the the the the sexy offensive players like the quarterback, the the receivers, the all that stuff. I don't think it should be like, "All right, since Jacobe Lane, we got him in the third round, then we going to start just all drafting all these players later on." So, everything just depends. It depends on how the seasons go. It depend on uh again whose contract expires and who's doesn't, who we got on the team, who who we don't. uh what the Ravens biggest needs. Everything just depends on everything. Anyway, u he said we'll have this tight-knit group uh that will be all together at least another two to four years. That could also be why they never made a free agent signing at wide receiver because they like the young group they got and their camaraderie. Well, yeah, they they Yeah, because this is like they're literally ushering a new era together. This is all new. All new. Obviously, there's some previous relationships from the previous regime. Um, but Jacobe Lane, Elijah Sherat, those are mentors guys. Those are the the the first two receivers that he drafted. So those are his guys and he's combining them with a Flowers, Rashad Baitman, Tez Walker, Leonte Wester. They brought in uh Chris Moore. Um, so this this is ushering in the new era with them. So yeah, anyway, he said um they definitely are going to continue to build on that. He said, "Blessings to you and your family. Appreciate you." He said, "What are your thoughts?" Yeah, I I I can see that for sure. Um cuz again, he he said it, it's all about relationships and communication. Uh so these are the relationships. It's like you said what Jesse Mentor been talking about without even realizing it. So shout out to him. It's just man, it's it's so exciting, man. It really is cuz we we're we're right there. Um this we we we are right there. And this Saturday, we're going to start to see a glimpse of it. I don't know if Jacobe Lane is going to play or not. I would assume that he is, especially because he's a rookie. And it's like, you got to earn your stuff, man. Like, practice is one thing. With the pads on, the shells on is one thing. When everything comes on, you start hitting, that's one thing, but preeason is another thing. So, you still you got to earn your spot for sure. Um, but yeah, man. I I I could definitely see exactly uh what you're saying. Um all these guys coming in together and like you said, the next two to three years. Z Flowers is here for a little bit longer than that. Uh Jacobe Lane's on a four-year contract. Elijah Sarat's on a four-year contract. Leonte West has got three years left on his contract. Rashad Baitman um man I I forget what year cuz he's on his third contract, but I forget how many years he got left on it. So yeah, like you said, at least the next two, four years, those guys will probably cuz things happen. So at least the next two years, uh, those guys should be together. Um, oh, and TZ Walker, too. TZ Walker got two years left on his contract. So yeah, can't forget about him. So yeah, they these guys they they got some time left together for sure. So let's make the most of it. Next question came from my guy Julius. He said, "What's up? How you doing? I'm doing all right. How you doing, Julius? Hopefully even better. He said, "Uh, there's been a lot of hype around our players and coaching staff during this training camp, and I'm loving it." Oh, we all love it. We We love the hype. He said, "I don't mean to be negative, but could you share your thoughts on what you think could be our biggest weakness heading into the upcoming season?" You ain't being negative. That's a realistic question. That's a good question, too. Um, I would just say the newness, the the lack of experience with the coaching staff. This a first time head coach. is a first time offensive well play calling offensive coordinator consistently at least. I'm sure he done called some plays before. Um but so much of what they're doing is new. It's fresh. Um it's inexperienced. So I would think that that could be hopefully it's not a weakness and hopefully that that newness that lack of experience just shows lack of what other teams can expect or lack of what other teams know to expect cuz they don't know. They they they can look at film from Jesse Minton with the Chargers. They could look at film from Declan Doyle uh with the Broncos, his time with the Saints. They they could look at previous stuff, but that that previous stuff still got different head coaches. So, that previous stuff could look a little different than it did um over at their old places. So, I think um that that could be the biggest weakness on it. and just really the team going through that uh the learning curve when it comes to everything being new. But honestly, like stuff is going to happen. Other teams are going to make plays here and there. Hopefully, hey, hopefully through the whole season. No other teams make no plays on the Ravens, but it's is going to happen. Uh so I I would say, yeah, just the inexperience that would be the biggest potential weakness, but that is something that they can overcome because with time, with experience, they'll gain experience. So that inexperience will end up being a thing of the past. And he also said, "By the way, I love your outro." Hey, I appreciate that, Julius. How about we hear it now?
