Video summary

The video features a conversation between host Miss Betty Kenji and Geoffrey Mosiria, the CEO of Citizen Engagement for the Nairobi County Government, who discusses the critical challenges facing the city and the nation. Mosiria begins by addressing the pervasive issue of insecurity in Nairobi, specifically warning against the potential dangers if Babu Owino were elected as governor. He argues that Owino relies heavily on "goons" to maintain power, citing past incidents where these hired thugs attacked students at the University of Nairobi, including a severe shooting incident that left a DJ permanently disabled and unable to function normally. Mosiria contends that Owino's leadership style involves recruiting criminals and using them for protection, which would inevitably make Nairobi unsafe for residents, investors, and businesses if he were in charge. Beyond security concerns, Mosiria highlights the systemic failures regarding public infrastructure and civic responsibility, particularly concerning garbage management and road safety. He criticizes the culture of taking shortcuts, such as ignoring footbridges to cross roads, which leads to accidental deaths and forces innocent drivers to pay compensation for accidents caused by others' negligence. He places the blame on both the county government for inadequate cleaning in certain areas and the citizens of Nairobi for dumping waste illegally due to a lack of proper disposal facilities or a desire for convenience. Mosiria advocates for a shift in mindset where individuals take personal responsibility for their waste, similar to how they pay for water and sewage services, arguing that the current system is rotten and requires immediate cultural change to prevent further loss of life and property. The discussion also delves into the broader political landscape and the nature of leadership in Kenya, with Mosiria urging voters to look beyond superficial popularity or social media influence when electing representatives like Members of Parliament (MPs). He warns that many elected officials are essentially "investors" who use public funds for personal gain rather than serving the people, leading to a cycle where citizens suffer for five years before realizing their mistake. Mosiria emphasizes the need to elect leaders with proven track records of service and integrity, rather than those who rely on bribery or criminal networks to secure votes. He further touches upon economic issues like the KPLC electricity monopoly, calling for competition and alternative energy sources like solar power to reduce costs and prevent nationwide blackouts that harm hospitals and businesses. In a lighter yet socially charged segment, Mosiria shares his views on marriage, family dynamics, and gender roles, advocating for monogamy despite being a product of polygamy himself. He advises men to be serious about their wives and warns against the destructive nature of "Yakasaka" women who he claims demand expensive items like iPhones while neglecting their husbands. Conversely, he urges women to dress modestly, respect their husbands even during difficult times, and avoid disrespecting them publicly, drawing parallels between biblical teachings on mutual submission and modern societal expectations. The interview concludes with Mosiria appealing to employers to pay fair wages to security guards and domestic workers, arguing that low salaries drive theft and suffering among families, while also encouraging young people to view politics as a divine calling for service rather than a career path for wealth accumulation.

A man should have um at least two, three, four wives. One for taking care of children at home. The second one for meetings and conferences. The third one for outings and entertainment. And they should be able to take care of them. And another one wash. hand out. >> He used to to run those T shops where he used to sell drugs, student will go there and buy cocaine, heroin, bangi, all those things. He used to run that cartel and if you you marry a good wife, not this Yakasaka women who shake shake. This yakasaka women will not change your life. This one will be trouble. They will demand for iPhone 17. When you go struggling to get 17, she's not even with you. She's on her phone like Then I told them we have people in jail because of him. Why can't he go and release David Osano? Because he's the one who fixed him with a rape case. And to be honest, the child who was delivered out of that case is amindi. >> Between your son who is black like me and babu is a windi. Hello and welcome to the public's choir. My name is Miss Betty Kenji and we are here to have conversations that all the Kenyans want to hear. And right here with me is the chief executive officer for citizen engagement and customer service, the one and only Joffrey Musa. Yes. Uh my name is Joffrey Moser. I'm the chief officer in charge of public participation, citizen engagement and customer service. That's true. Yes. Uh you know um in the county government you don't choose where to work. Mhm. >> Governor can decide to reassign your duties because he's the appointing authority >> and when he decide that he needs your energy >> in any department, you'll have to work and he's the one who understands the strength of each of his stuff. >> So in his own wisdom, it said that he needed my energy where I am today. >> That's why I'm really actively working to deliver because you don't disappoint your boss. work so hard because when he has given you a responsibility just do your best. >> Yeah. >> But if you fail >> then it means you're incompetent anywhere. >> Yeah. I believe that I'm there to serve participation right now which is the hardest to execute. Um actually you have to convince the people you take their opinions and if >> you know um it's not easy >> when you go to engaging the citizen you meet the citizen they want to tell you what what they expect from the government >> and they will challenge you >> you see >> so in this is a bigger job than even what you had four >> they're all the same. >> Oh yeah. >> The same levels only that responsibilities are different. >> Yeah. In terms of responsibility. >> Yeah. So where I sit >> I feel like uh is more of a a learning experience on how to deal with people. >> How to respond to people's complaints. It's not an easy job as many may think. >> Yeah. Sometimes people come to our offices, you expect them to bring uh maybe complaints which can be addressed in line with a duty. You find someone is coming to report his husband. >> The other problem you find a husband is coming to report his wife. >> Yeah. >> That is being beaten up but he doesn't want anybody to know. He only fear saying it. He has suffered in the hands of his wife. you know. Yeah. something you've been doing lately. Yeah. Do you have that constitutional right? uh if you followed uh well the video that was shared online >> they were not being forced >> they were not they are given >> what happened was this >> these people started begging >> they were arrested >> okay >> because you are with the officers who are manning traffic on that area and trying to make sure that there's order >> police officers >> so the options were >> they they they had broken the law >> and they requested for the easiest way out. They were like me. I don't take a bribe. >> We don't take a bribe. Personally, I don't take a bribe. Then they asked now what can you do for us? >> Please forgive us. I told them if we forgive you, you repeat the same same mistake. You have to be taken to court >> or what else can you do? Then they told me just give us any punishment you want but quote no. >> Yeah. >> Before >> please just look for a way to help us out then. Men headaches. Yeah. You see this was for educational purposes. most >> or they were acting like lessons to the rest. >> Yeah. You know, in most developed countries, enforcement >> is documented >> and shared all over the media >> enforcement activities and that's in a public space. >> Yeah. >> And the illegality was committed in a public space. So what we did uh it's okay for educational purposes to create awareness and actually they have helped many and we have saved life. In fact Kenyans should be appreciating me and saying do more of this because we saved life. >> Previously like a week ago I was in the same same spot. I told people stop just passing through this place just use the foot bridge be ignored. Mhm. >> The following day two people were hit in that same place. We lost two lives. >> The same same week someone was hit along uh altering road. We lost our life. >> Vicar road another person died near um I think it was near the car barracks just ignoring the use of the foot bridge. They want to compete with vehicles and all this is because people want shortcut. You know >> many drivers have court cases of hitting people in busy highways. >> Yeah. They suffering for mistakes of an individual who just risk risk his life and he died actually commit suicide because they being pushed to the wall. That's true. Because someone committed a mistake. Someone >> who should have used the foot bridge decided to use a shortcut >> accidentally. You hit him with your vehicle. You'll be taken to court. >> Huh? >> Yeah. >> The family is demanding for justice. What justice are you demanding for for a criminal? Because this this a criminal. You know, anybody who committed this is a criminal should be in jail. So you end up being pushed. >> You know people are suffering out there. People have got cases whereby people who should have used the foot bridge have been hit accidentally and you're being forced to pay. The insurance is being forced to pay. A time has come such cases should be withdrawn. going to go frustrated. You are just driving your vehicle. You have to repair your vehicle. You have to compensate these people. >> Yeah. >> And the person who was closing this road has committed a mistake. Are you sure? You know, let's let's use common sense. Yeah. Wrong side bridge bridge. I agree. People should use the right was illegal. So what is this You know Sometimes painter bleeding in the process. Yeah. No to the walls is the same that to this. Yeah. foot bridge in terms of the trash that was a depiction of how Nairobi looks like and this is an you know it's working in the county government I believe there's someone who should be allocated to do that job but it was not done what do you have to say about that. >> Um, you see Nairobians dump garbage every day. >> You can't put stuff to collect garbage. Most of those roads are managed by Kenna. >> Kenna have their cash also clean those roads. >> The county government we have our areas where we clean >> and we do our part. But again, even those roads because they are within Nairobi. >> We also have to clean them. We don't have to wait for Kenya and their cash to clean. We have to work together. We are doing our best as a county government to make sure that the city is clean. But what I want to say is this. The problem of Nairobi garbage is caused by the people of Nairobi because of our culture. They're no different. That's true. solution. Very simple. That video I posted it on my wall a few minutes ago. I went there. Yeah. along that road because you have a responsibility. You have a responsibility as a Nairobian to manage your waste. >> Nobody should manage the waste for you. is your responsibility. The same way you pay for water and sewage is the same way you should pay for your garbage collection and transportation to the final disposal. Also, you know, it's happening and we see it as normal. driver. So we have lived in a a system that is rotten to an extent that people commit illegal things and we just it as normal. I know my work better than they do. Because if someone Why do you have to dump to the road and you expect us to keep quiet? We can't keep quiet. We have to tell you the truth. You have to pay for your sewer connected to the Nairobi water sewage system. If you can't connect it to our sewer system, then you pay those who come with the exhaust to to just drain it and take it to Roy and >> dump it at our recycling plant. >> Yeah. >> But you know Kenyans they want shortcuts. >> We love shortcuts. We want shortcuts. You just want it your way. You don't care about your neighbor. And that's the problem we are facing. That's why people want shortcuts. elect leaders who give them money. At the end of the day, you start crying. My friends, >> one day you will find yourself in a country whereby if you don't earn money, you don't get justice. You don't get a service. If you continue electing leaders who give you money, if you continue using shortcuts and that's what I'm trying to tell people, we need to do things the right way. It doesn't matter what it cost you, but we need to do things the right way. Now guys, you can see clearly you get to see that the responsibility again is on us. So we also need to do better for sure. Yeah. Is harmful to your neighbor. Mhm. Yes. But the neighbor is suffering. The same way you dump garbage to you, you think it's the right thing. You want to get rid of it, but it's affecting your neighbor. Well, let's create our here but also you see garbage beans because personally as someone who is very cautious about you know maintaining our environment but before you would literally at the right corner there's garbage plastic decay products that needs to be worked on. >> We have we have stolen them. We have stolen those. What's happening? moving forward. Why? Why do you do you sound helpless? There are so many legal firearms in in hands of the public who are not licensed to hold those firearms. >> They are using them to steal. Recently you saw a video whereby someone sneaked into a salon and stole phones and all that. In Westland here they sneaked into a restaurant and they stole phones. >> There's so many legal firearms in private hands of people who are not licensed. And that's why we also need to appeal to Inspector General Police and the DC. I know they know them. >> These people are known. Let those firearms be repossessed. let them be given you know some of these young people >> be given an opportunity to surrender and be given job. I think a time has come that uh the initiative like the kaziman is needs to be they need to increase the numbers to accommodate the number of youths. >> We have now the green army like Nairobi we have the green army those are our casual employees. We have reduced crime by almost 80% as a county government. >> The national government has also contributed to Those are there but the level of crime. What I'm saying is this. What I'm saying is this. All this problem is caused because of the when you elect leaders especially the MPs >> you know MPs make the law >> they need to open up our country to investors to come and set up companies >> they need to simplify the process you know when the process of setting up companies is too long >> those bureaucracy it hinders development it hinders uh investors from coming to our country to invest. >> We need to have investors brought to like notistan. We need to build cities like Nairobi >> so that with these cities coming up employment is created and also investors to set up companies. All this will attract even international communities to come and invest in Kenya to come and live in Kenya because Kenya is a beautiful country. In Africa there's no country like Kenya. Every person in Africa just want to visit Nairobi >> because Nairobi especially with the free education that was started by Kbaki, we developed and many of our people got educated and we we have advanced. >> No country can be compared with Kenya and Africa. >> Every person want to visit Kenya because Kenya is the US, the UK of Africa. So we need to have laws that are going to open up our country so that investors, visitors will be comfortable coming to Kenya. >> Uh and also when tourists come to Kenya, it's creating employment and also our people will have money. >> Yeah. >> But now this can be achieved when you will elect MPs who are not investors. >> Yeah. >> And do you know what I mean by investors? who will invest money in you. >> You elect them. >> They get money. They focus on recovering their money instead of working for you. >> Once they do all CDF tenders, they get the money to invest outside the country. That's why you see our youths are suffering. >> You are crying. >> People are crying. They not getting pass scholarships. But the elected investors, those people, you ate their money. How do you expect them to work for you? Continue crying until the right time you get senses until the time when you will not replace faces with your brain during election time because when it comes to voting they vote for those criminals for those investors. At >> the end of the day they suffer for another 5 years. >> That's a problem. Yeah. I like to tell people that when we choose our MPs, we should look at their track as a leader in church, what were they able to achieve as a leader in church as an MP? If they were leading a certain community, what were they able to achieve as a community? >> Yeah. Kenyans, we get brainwashed so easily by leadersh and a time has come that you really need to rethink and elect people who will provide solutions to you. People will provide answers to your problem. Mhm. iPhone is a wonderful instrument for enjoyment. They don't They don't take you seriously as a wife. Anyway, when you came into the limelight or became popular, I I was like, "Oh, who is this guy? He's, you know, he's very vocal. He's talking to people on the ground and you had a lot of confidence." But then now after that, the next person that I had linked to your name was Babu or Weno. M >> what's your relationship with you know because it has been ungrateful never helped me any way anyway >> there's nothing has helped me in my life >> so the person maybe helped those goons who who used to work >> with him >> you saw Benal When I was vying against Babu as the chairman son >> Benar was my secretary general. >> Okay. >> Benar was beaten by Babu's goons and Babu himself >> and they undressed him >> in the university in the presence of the students. They humiliated him. >> Oh this is something that is known. >> Yeah. >> And there are many students who were stabbed. Uh Kford was stabbed. He was taken to Aakan. Was it Misha or Aakan? >> Misha. And Babu and his goons followed him there. They wanted to finish him. >> Mhm. >> But uh police intervene. You go to they give you the CCTV footages. Uh we have many people in jail because of this babu. >> We have a DJ who cannot function normally as a human being after he was shot. What I mean by as a human being as a normal person who can marry a family >> because he's on a wheelchair cannot even walk and provide for his children or marry. >> Mhm. >> Because he was shot by our brother Babu. >> Mhm. >> Babu when he wants something even if it means shooting you he can shoot you. But again another question we ask ourselves >> is that a a normal human being someone who can even take someone's life just to get what he wants >> because this like our brother evolve right now he has to depend on someone to provide for him for the rest of his life >> and will he be there you know what I ask people as you defend Babu will Babu provide for DJ for the rest of his life. What if you know politics comes and go? >> Will he be there in power for 100 years? >> He said he changed. He become a better person. You quit drugs and alcohol. Babu consumes alcohol. Go to some of these kilani protests where he relax at night. That's why leave those things. >> There's nothing that changed. What changed is our public image trying to show but the real person behind the scenes is different. >> We have people in jail because of him. Why can't he go and release David Osano? Because he's the one who fixed him with a rape case. And to be honest, the child who was delivered out of that case is Amui. >> Between your son who is black like me and Babindi. >> You know, people don't know Babu. Well, >> I see you. to allow his hair to grow. Patel you say I'm Hindi. Yeah. Pauliri but he has removed Patel from his names. >> So it remains Pauli. And if you want to know that um he's not al as he claims, let him allow his hair to grow. Another thing, the L community asked him to show them his grandfather and his father's graves. >> He has never shown them. They are not in Lanza. He's just a cornman trying to hide behind the L community >> just to get into power. But the real person you are seeing in him is not what you know what is showing in the public is not what he is. >> He's one person who can do anything. Even if it means getting you out of the equation to get what he wants, he can do it. That's why I always advise my brother Sona. Sifuna, you are a young man. You are ambitious. You have a future. And actually Baba, Baba, Babainga is in you. It's in Bab saying that. >> So what are you trying to say about him? I want to adise first if you have to walk with babe and if you have to eat share the same plate with babu >> because I I'm advising you because I know babu from the university be careful babu babu is not happy with you so he's not happy. >> So, what are you trying to say about his leadership skills? Cuz he's been in leadership for a while now. >> There's no leadership skills he has apart from recruiting goons >> and hiring bloggers and paying Paul farms to rank him as the best. >> He knows how to use. >> My friend, >> remember the returning officer died? Mhm. >> And that's a matter that needs to be investigated. We get to know how he died before announcing the result. >> So they had to do something to declare this this man a winner. But we still wonder why are police not giving us a real report investigators what happened to that returning officer. Uh so he has he has never won an election. Even the university was being leaked in by administration because he had blackmailed management. He had he he was ahead of them. He had known how they were stealing money from the university. He had all the documents. He had some of there's one vice chancellor who had a rape case. He had the file and the case number. He was blackmailing him with that case number. So he knew through that blackmail he got into power. Otherwise nobody wanted him. He used to change constitution every year for him to vi otherwise he was not wanted >> and if you want to know that what I'm saying about this young man is true just ask any University of Nairobi student why is it that when he was vying for Sonu a student had to die and be dumped in the swimming pool so that he can carry a Bible and come and pretend to be fighting for the right of student. Was it that nature favored him so that student die every year vise so that he can use that against the administration that it has failed to protect students? Mhm. >> Those are things that need to be investigated. And I'm telling Nairobians, the worst mistake you can do is electing someone whom his story is in black and white. Whom whom his story is all over the social media? Who hired goons to attack innocent students? Who hired goons to stab innocent student? The person who has been >> moving around with goons for protection. >> Someone who has sent people in jail. We have people are in jail. This person shot a DJ in a club for just telling him stop touching my girlfriend. And he pulled the gun and pulled the trigger. He has reduced him to someone who cannot function normally as an human being who can walk, work and provide for his family. This person, how many will will he shoot if elected as a governor to take their land to take their properties, to take their wives, to take their girlfriends? How many will he send in jail because he knows his way? How many people lose business because he knows how to bail out goons? Whenever goons are arrested for destroying people's property, he's the one who goes to court and bails them out. >> So how safe will Nairobi be under the hands of a goon who is a super goon who is a chief goon who is the goon of the goons? Nairobi will not be safe. So the worst mistake Nairobians investors can do, developers can do is harassing this goon is is is electing this goon. He will come to your business and demand for money. You'll have to pro to pay protection fee. You will recruit goons who will run and protect him because he want to stay in power for another 10 years so that he can go for presidency. And him now if he goes for those 10 years you will not get development. He will loot your properties. Goons will be all over terrorizing you. He will form a a squad of goons whose work is to protect his power. How he used to operate in the University of Nairobi. Drugs will be sold openly because in the university he used to to run those T shops where he used to sell drugs. Student will go there and buy cocaine, heroin, bangi, all those things. He used to run that cartel. You know if you don't talk about these things nobody will tell Nairobians. M being honest to Nairobians and he's someone who plans attacks on those people he sees as threats personally he has tried to attack me severally using goons and he keeps quiet. He thinks I don't know him but his goons when they try to come hit on me they give me the information. M >> some of his some of his people the people around him they always share information with me >> he seems to be quite popular >> he's not popular he has he has almost he has 600 bloggers what do you expect 600 bloggers to do they'll make you popular on social media but on the ground the real voters they don't know him they only know >> let me let me ask you let me ask you a question also let me interview Eh. >> Um, did Babu shoot a DJ? >> I I saw that. >> You saw it? >> Yeah, I saw that on the news. >> You saw it on the news. >> I saw a clip. I think he has also acknowledged that he did that. And you know, >> how safe are you if you vote for him as a governor in Nairobi? >> I would not know because also I believe Kenyans are doing >> not safe. No, you're not safe. Nairobi >> Nairobi needs better. not a goon, not someone who shoots. And unfortunately, I'm >> consider even right now we have goons, we have insecurity issues and he is not in power. >> How do you expect Nairobi to be saved when we have an MP with a goon? >> But we also have a governor that you report to. >> No, he he recruits goons. Those goons are not employed goons in every sub county. He has been moving around pretending to be supporting uh uh pools the game people competing on pool table but those are not the people. >> Does the county government do know this? Does the police know this? >> The police know they have power over him. >> You see I'm saying this and I'll not fear saying it. >> The systems have been compromised by some of these leaders. and the people of fa the people is the leadership especially those task with such responsibility do your work we need you to arrest this goon we need the court the court to help people like evolve get through justice not this thing of saying that you'll take care of him what if he dies tomorrow does it mean he evolve life has not to go on will if he dies Will he be compensated by if today something happens to him and god forbid I don't pray evil to any person how will evol survive huh and already even now he's not supporting him you know I try to support set up a DJ academy and what happened babu send 650 goons >> he said he still supports him on a monthly basis really is suffering he threatened and his parents and loses one of his parent because of depression and stress and being threatened by goons and this chief goon. So let me not dwell on that. But what I want to tell people is that choose leaders who have good track records not leaders whose records you know and you know you are going to do a mistake and you still make that mistake. And I'm not personally I don't hate him. I only hate hate what he does. as an individual we'll meet we interact as friends because we served in Sonu but when it come to leadership he's not the leader for the city and is not he doesn't even deserve to be an MP take it the bank but before you So let's talk about something else more serious KPLC electricity monopoly. The other day we even had blackout the entire country and because we rely on one person to provide this service it means everyone else had to suffer. >> How hard or is it how hard is it for us to >> this this national fun the national government has a responsibility to provide Kenyans with electricity? What happened is it shouldn't happen in this country. We need this monopoly to be brought to an end so that other companies can set up power generation plants. Let us have an alternative so that when there's power blackout it doesn't affect the entire country because we have hospitals that need electricity. We have uh institution that need this kind of electricity. We have people doing business and they need electricity. Once it goes we get losses. So a time has come that we need an alternative source of electricity so that when KPLC fails we don't have to have blackouts across the country. Do you think maintained like that >> most countries that are developed they are using solar let's tap into solar >> let us come give room to investors to set up companies that generate power especially the solar so that people can now have alternatives because if you can stay in a country and being in a blackout for the entire 24 hours >> that's a failure in our own systems and uh let's bowl as Pet has been better and not a big spoon. Someone was supposed to take responsibility for that problem. And uh if God is makes me a president for one hour and something like that happens, some people have to go home because we have many people who can be able to do this work. Uh because you don't have to sit as a president and watch your people fails your people. You are elected to protect Kenyans and protect their interests. When your people fails, you just send them home. You know how many millions we are almost 50 million Kenyans. We have experts who can do this work. A time has come that we need to have alternative Kenya power to provide a source of electricity so that we don't have to live in darkness and also we once we have competitors to KPLC the cost of power generation will go down. >> Yeah. >> Cost of living will go also go down. Even cost of food and consumable that we use will go down and the life will be luxurious as for Kenyans. Even if you don't have money, at least you'll be able to afford three meals a day. >> Yeah. >> So, Mira, you are a self-proclaimed patron of single moms and women and daughters >> and children. >> Why did you decide to go that direction? >> Uh my brother Babino was campaigning for me on social media with these bloggers that Mosia for women rep. >> Mhm. I don't know why he was campaigning me for that position. >> Maybe maybe feared I was going to East or he maybe I have I can compromise his interest. So he was trying to brand me as a as as a leader for the women >> with his bloggers and he accepted and I even starting what I want to say women are very important in our society. Our girls are very important because they are the ones we marry and our children are equally very very important and those are the people that needs to be protected and also don't forget the boy child. I'm also a patron of the boy child. >> What are you doing for them? They have no one to take care of them. >> Uh I'm here to help them get good women and marry and I'm here to advise them. You know, you don't need money to marry a a woman. >> You just need to get a good wife. >> No, but you have to provide. >> You know, God provides. >> God provide for animals. They don't >> God provides how the same way once you marry, God has to provide for an extra mouth. So for any successful man, you know, I wasn't like this when I I married. I was just a boy being seen as a boy. >> When I married, it comes with respect. It comes with responsibility and it comes with money. Marriage comes with blessings. Marriage opens up when two combines and if you you marry a good wife, not this yakasaka women who shake shake. This yakasaka women will not change your life. This one will be trouble. They will demand for iPhone 17. When you go struggling to get, she's not even with you. She's on her phone. woman password to protect the marriage. >> No, I serious. >> No men, please be serious. You know, women is mutual. Reassurance is not about mutual reassurance is mutual. >> A man must protect the marriage, but the woman cannot share, cannot go out and sleep without another man. So women phone should not have password but men's phone must have password to protect the marriage because we men you know whenever we grow we continue appreciating we become handsome we become lovable and women love us about what happens to women they depreciate >> no when women you know a woman they become beautiful yes but they don't when they become beautiful men will admire and you have to protect her >> but there also women admiring young men women actually in the Bible a man can marry more than one wife but a woman cannot marry more than two men by do you know the Bible does not acknowledge polygamy >> the Bible acknowledge polygamy can I respond to that >> unless you become >> king David how many women did he marry >> Ibraim how many wives did he have even went to the house >> even the church does not accept polygamy they only accept one woman one man >> the mosque accept polygamy >> it does unless you're practicing in a different religion. >> Muslims they marry more than >> Yeah, they do. They and even the women who are mostly the same as our Bible only that the pastors they fear their wives that's why they don't want to read that fast in the Bible Abraham they had resources your father was polygamist Oh, my father was a hero. My father, he never married my mother. I wouldn't be here today talking. So, I want to appreciate the man called Charles Mos who is my father because white not for him. I wouldn't be here today. >> That's okay. Are you a polygamous man? >> I'm a product of polygamy. >> Are you a polygamous man? >> I'm a product of polygamy. >> I know that. But are you one? >> A product of polygamy? >> Are you one? >> Listen to me. I'm a product of polygamy. >> I know. >> Now that one answers your question. >> No, it doesn't. >> It answers your question. >> You say yes or no. Are you polygamous? >> Would you consider being polygamous? >> Men were born naturally polygamous. >> No. That's a lie. They sold. That's a lie. The system >> the Bible is very clear. >> It's not. >> And the Quran is very clear. >> Quran. Yes. >> But the Bible know >> no woman can be married by more than one man. So the rest keep it for my sister in Kenya where we have a deficit of men we have to look at it deeper because you see my concern is no it's the greedy it's the dynamics our mothers They appreciated each other. >> It's the men that are actually selfish. You guys were taught to be selfish. But before we get to a man has to be selfish to protect the marriage, to protect the wife. But a woman, >> what if a woman becomes selfish? What if they return? What if a woman become selfish? Because >> what if what if you are supposed to be submissive? >> No. What if? >> But again, >> do you know the Bible actually share >> more than one man? Do you know the Bible actually says the men should submit to their women as well? >> They love the wife the way the Christ loved the church. Do you know how the Christ loved church? >> It's the same way we love our women the same way my father loved his wives. >> No, actually say the Bible says both men and women should submit to each other. >> But anyway, my my question is on this polygamy issue. My problem is normally the dynamics of raising the kids in different homes. Especially in the current life we are living in the current age. That's not even a gender issue. My question is the dynamics of raising these kids in different homes and you as a parent, as a father not being present equally in these kids. My father, my father was very responsible. You know, you summon your wives and different different in the Bible. >> It's not about why would you need two wives? You yourself, why would you need two wives? Not even three, two. >> Can I respond? >> Yes. >> Because men don't want to cheat if you have that person there. >> Talk about yourself. >> It's not about I'm talking on behalf of the men in this interview. It's not about it's about the men I'm talking on their behalf. >> It's about you. >> So what I want to say is this to all men watching me. If you have bring her home, introduce to the wife, let them be accepted. I'm advising you and I know my wife, you're watching this, but don't worry. I love you so much and I only have you. I've not added anyone on top of it. So Clearly men you can see is not for polygamy. You can see he's he has not even answered why you would want a product of polygamy. >> That's okay. >> You want to me to answer why you should have two. >> Well, you don't you seem respond. A man should have um at least two, three, four wives. One for taking care of children at home. The second one for meetings and conferences. The third one for outings and entertainment and you should be able to take care of them. And another one. Anyway, let me end it there. But my wife, I'm not I decided No, listen to me. My wife, I know you are watching this. I decided to marry you and you alone because I don't want my capacity and the money I have is only enough for you. Uh so for this interview I was just telling men that uh if you have money we have many women out there let them not suffer. Let's move to another question. >> So you believe all these four things that different women are doing you as a man will do to all these four women the same things. That's what you believe. >> If you are born in Guiland you are capable >> and Somali land. >> Sour your wife is okay with the kind of job you do at night. My wife is very okay. I love my wife so much because she's very supportive. She understand that the husband is all over serving Kenyans. >> My children are okay. >> Yeah. >> And one thing I love about my wife is that she really supports me. Even if she sees some people troll me online, >> it's because she's very supportive and I love her so much. >> Yeah. >> And once God has given you a good wife, it means you have a future. But if you go for saka, there's no future. >> You will forever suffer. and our genzies don't take don't joke with marriage don't this is thing is going to cost you people not see you as a serious wife material when you are shaking your breast in public but they will see you as just someone to be used and be damned then at the age of 34 you start crying that men are dogs and when you had a chance to get a good man dressed decently like this lady you will you. So what I want to advise you our ladies who are watching this movie dress decently go copy from our sisters here from our Muslim sisters sometimes they cover something good is covered something sweet is covered but something that is has no value is exposed so that it market itself. Don't be that product that will not be bought by every person. Be a product that people demand to see and do not see it because it has value. Even don't be like water. Water is all over but gold is is minimal and rare to find be the gold. Let people fight and risk their life to get the gold in you. But if you become like water which is all over that's why it saves life but the value of water compared to gold you cannot compare. So be the goal and God will give you the man and the husband and the father of your children. Butch. The values you'd want to give you to your kids. Are they girls or combination of boy and girl? >> My kids have a combination. >> Mhm. >> And I love my kids. >> Yeah. Your girls should grow up knowing. >> I want them to grow knowing that their father was a good man. Mhm. >> I want them to grow up knowing that they need to respect um first the rule of law. >> Mhm. >> Second, their parents. Third, >> their husbands. They have to be submissive to their husbands. >> And also uh to the men out there, don't beat your women. If your wife is a problem, just walk away. Beating someone is something of the past. If you must beat someone's daughter, then it means you are a criminal. If someone's daughter is a problem, take her back to the parents, leave her there, get someone else who can beat that wife you want. >> And to our women out there, be submissive to your men. Respect your men. Even if your man is is not working or he has lost his job, don't go out there now sleeping with other men and openly disrespecting him. Uh because this man sometimes God takes a man down to just show him the kind of wife he married so that he can rethink and get a good wife. I had a friend who had a wife who was just playing and I told him my friend you just need to leave that marriage get someone else who can change who can who can be the wife you need. And the moment he he took my advice he's doing well. Mhm. >> The person he left went to another man and he she has been chased away because she was a problem. So what I urge even my daughters and the girls out there be be better than your mom better than your grandmother and uh let the person in your family whose marriage worked especially your grandmother or your mother be your role model but not what you see on TV. All right, Moseria, thank you for coming, for talking to us, for sharing with us your thoughts and keep doing the Lord's work as you know, keep making Nairobi. >> We shall continue protecting the children. We shall continue protecting the vulnerable and I also have an appeal. Mhm. M uh they are really suffering. >> Mhm. >> To boss ladies to those employers the least the watchman should be paid is 20,000. The least the house girls should be paid is at least 15 or 13,000 on the lowest 35 >> you know >> reason why >> reason why I'm saying this >> this someone house girl can be paid like 13 on the lowest >> because you are she's staying in your house. >> Imagine but a watchman should be paid 20,000 and above >> because those companies are paid per person almost 40,000 per person. M >> and you pay someone 8,000 that's so I'm appealing to employers the least you can pay the watchman should be 20,000 because these are people of families they struggling some are suffering some don't have good insurance they end up dying due to pneumonia due to as asthma and other diseases due to working at night protecting someone is protecting properties of millions and you pay him 8,000 he will steal from you. So let watchman be paid well and also the online riders and drivers should be paid well and we need our own application as Kenyans. These international companies are exploiting our Kenyans. They're using and risking the lives of our riders and drivers. We need to protect them. And as your patron because I'm the patron of the less fortunate in society in Kenya, I appeal to responsible ministries. Let's come up with our own applications. Now that you've said that, now that you've mentioned about workers, Kotus Francis said that young people are supposed to protect the country and not lead. He was of course speaking about Cifuna, you know, bid for presidency. What do you have to say about his sentiments? should retire and give young people space to occupy the position he holds because young people have the energy to work. Let him be an advisor and he can be paid as an adviser because he has experience is let me not uh dwell into that. But what I want to advise allow young people lead if they have the because we have the capacity. Now we are not leaders of tomorrow. this modern slavery of people saying that should be brought to an end. We are the leaders of today and um to the young people also don't be drunk with power. You know power comes from God. If God has chosen you to lead just lead and also politics is not a career is a calling. Don't join politics just because you want to become rich because you will die. That's why most leaders who join politics because they want to become leach they die from diseases like cancer and these diseases that are incurable even HIV AIDS and all that because you went there to loot and not to serve. When God has given you a responsibility, you'll leave a happy and healthy person. But when you go to lead because you want to make money, you'll always God will always have a way of getting back that money from you and through diseases and even cases and jail. So what I advise is that young people don't join politics because you see that it has a career. Join polit politics if it's a calling from God and a calling to serve. Yeah. All right, Mosia, I don't have much to add. Thank you for coming and thank you for talking to us. >> Thank you so much. >> All right, that was it right here. The public square.
