getting my life BACK TOGETHER 🎧 organizing my life + getting back on track
Watch on YouTubeVideo summary
The video documents a personal journey of re-establishing structure and routine after an enjoyable but chaotic summer break. The creator acknowledges that while taking time off to have fun is necessary, falling out of one's established habits can lead to feeling disheveled and less confident. To combat this, she decides to ease herself back into her fitness regimen rather than pushing too hard immediately, aiming for shorter runs like 7.5 or 8 kilometers to avoid burnout after a long hiatus from exercise. A key strategy highlighted is the importance of planning ahead; by setting specific goals for each day before going to sleep, such as booking workout classes or scheduling tasks, she creates accountability that prevents procrastination and ensures consistent progress toward her health goals.
Beyond physical fitness, the creator emphasizes the need for mental organization through detailed planning and time-blocking techniques. She explains that without a written plan or structure, productivity drops significantly, so she relies on filling out planners and using digital tools to manage her day effectively. This organizational approach extends to her daily nutrition as well, where she focuses on incorporating fiber-rich foods like cottage cheese with blueberries and chia seed water while avoiding heavy meals before workouts. Additionally, she shares tips for resetting a disrupted sleep schedule by gradually shifting bedtime and wake-up times in half-hour increments rather than making drastic changes all at once, allowing the body to adjust naturally without excessive stress.
The video also features an extensive showcase of activewear from Halara, which has become integral to her running routine due to its comfort and versatility. She reviews various items including backless dresses with built-in shorts for coverage, high-waisted tummy-control shorts, and flowy tennis skirts that make outdoor activities like pickleball enjoyable. The creator appreciates how the brand incorporates customer feedback through their "Circle" program to improve product quality over time, making them a staple in her wardrobe alongside affordable beauty products she recently discovered. These practical fashion choices not only support her active lifestyle but also boost her confidence and motivation when stepping out for runs or social activities with friends.
Finally, the creator reflects on balancing work productivity with leisure during different seasons of life. She notes that while summer offers endless opportunities to go outside and enjoy the weather, making it harder to stay focused indoors, winter provides a natural environment for "locking in" and working diligently when fewer distractions are available. Despite these seasonal challenges, she maintains her drive by seeking out fun environments like cafes with friends to edit videos or trying new workout classes that push her limits even if they leave her sore the next day. Ultimately, the message is one of embracing life's ebbs and flows while gently guiding oneself back into a consistent routine through planning, self-compassion, and small, sustainable adjustments rather than perfectionism.

Good morning you guys. I am just getting
ready for my run. We are getting our
lives back together in this freaking
video because I have been so out of my
routine. It's actually crazy and
diabolical, but that's okay. I've been
enjoying the summer. I've been having
fun. You fall off of your routine once
in a while. It's no big deal. I never
put pressure on myself, especially when
I'm just at like the points in my life
where I am having fun. I'm not going to
put pressure on myself. I'm not going to
make myself feel guilty or bad for not
working out, not being in my routine.
Anyways, this video, the purpose of it
is I'm going to take you guys along my
week and we are going to get my habits
back on track, get my life organized
again, and actually just like stick to a
freaking consistent routine again, which
you guys know I feel my best when I am
in a consistent routine. Otherwise, I
feel a little bit disheveled. So, it's
always like a double-edged sword when
I'm out of my routine cuz I am having
fun, but then part of me just feels so
like I just don't feel my best,
obviously. But that is literally part of
life to have the es and the flows. So
you got to embrace every stage. But
anyways, going for a run. I'm going to
aim to do I'm going to aim for 7.5 or 8
km run today. I'm not going to do a full
10 km run today because I'm easing
myself back into working out cuz I
haven't worked out in what feels like a
million years. So I don't want to burn
myself out and like get too sore. So I'm
going to ease myself back in. I was
like, we got to start the week off with
a bang and go on a run for my first
workout this week. And I'm planning my
workouts every day this week to actually
hold myself accountable cuz I feel like
if I don't plan what I'm going to do the
day before, I don't do it. So, I just
need to actually like set a plan in
stone like the night before be like, I'm
going to do this tomorrow. I'm going to
book this class or whatever and actually
just follow through with it. And that's
what makes it just easier for me.
Running has slowly become one of my
hobbies, honestly. And I have just been
really enjoying it. Honestly, running
outside, it's a lot more enjoyable when
the weather's nice. Like, I don't think
I would be one to go out on a run in the
rain, if I'm honest, unless like I had
signed up for something and I needed to
do it. But I do really like running when
it's nice outside. It's nice to get some
fresh air and be outside just in
general. And yeah, I've just been really
loving running. So, really started being
more consistent with it this year, like
in the spring. Getting a good pair of
running shoes really helps. Shorts are
from Halara. I actually have a haul from
them that I'm going to show you guys in
a bit because I've been wearing their
stuff so often for my runs that they've
been so good. Super cute running fits. I
love my little pink Hoka runners cuz
they just make any outfit so cute. And
then I have this running vest that I got
from Amazon that I've been wearing just
to like hold my phone and then I bring
like my little camera with me um to
record running outfit. Let's go do this.
Save me.
Baby.
Hey.
Heat. Heat. N.
I have a huge Halara haul to show you
guys. You guys know they're one of my
favorite activewear brands. Let's just
get into the haul cuz I got such cute
pieces. This is their Softly Zero plush
backless active dress in the color nose
gate. I wore this dress golfing the
other day ago. It is so comfortable and
butter soft. The comfiest active wear
dress I've ever put on. It has shorts
underneath with a pocket. Literally,
this is the biggest phone you could get.
And then that fits right in. And voila,
I was golfing handsree. The built-in
shorts are so good for coverage and
obviously extra support. The easy peasy
back design just makes it so easy for
like bathroom breaks to slip it off.
It's so easy to put on and off. This is
the exact same dress but in black. Every
girl needs a little black dress. I
always feel so confident in black cuz
it's just so staple and I never get
bored of the color. So this one is their
softly zero airy backless twisted cool
touch dance active dress in the color
afterglow. This one is also just as
comfortable. Fabric is just as amazing
and butter soft. We have the built-in
shorts once again. So you feel so
comfortable in the dress. This one is
their Softly Zero Airy Unck 2-in-1
pocket mini cool touch dance active
dress in the color white. This is
actually just like the perfect little
fitting dress on me. Materials butter
soft, such good quality. The back is
just so adorable. And I also love how
there's not only the built-in shorts,
but there's also the built-in cups. So,
don't need to even worry about having to
wear a bra with this. And it gives you
so much support honestly in every single
area. Okay, now moving on to all of the
running shorts and skirts that I got
from them. You guys know I'm becoming a
runner. I'm becoming a track star. These
are their softly zero quick dry
high-waisted tummy control crossover hem
2in-1 running shorts in the 3in with
pockets in the color sky blue. I never
knew that I needed running shorts until
I actually started wearing them and I'm
like, "Wow, they make such a big
difference in my runs. So adorable and
they just fit so comfortably. They're
such amazing quality and they're so
stretchy." These ones are their Softly
Zero Air Crossover high-waisted 2in-1
cool touch yoga shorts in the 3-in with
pockets in the color chocolate martini.
I'm obsessed with a good chocolate brown
and I love the crossover detail on
these. They really just hold everything
in, still make my outfit so cute. This
is their everyday softly zero airy
crossover twoin- one side pocket cool
touch mini tennis skirt in the color
aster blue. This color is just so gorge.
I really want to go out and play pickle
ball in this. It is so comfortable,
stretchy, but flowy, so flattering. And
then these are their super high-waisted
back pocket inside, hidden pocket,
twoin- one yoga shorts, the 3-in in the
color winter berry. These ones are not
crossover. They're high-waisted, which I
love on days where I feel like a little
bit just bloated or I want to cover more
of my stomach and just like feel
snatched in. These shorts really do
that. One thing that I think is super
cool is all of these products have
actually been improved over time through
the Halara circle where their customers
actually give Halara real feedback and
Halara takes that and makes their
products even better and better each
time. That is a part of their made
better philosophy and I love how they
include their customers in the making of
their products. So if you guys want to
check it out and be a part of the Halara
circle, I will leave a link to it down
below. If you guys want to get 20% off
full price items on Halara's website.
You can use my code bento. I will have
all the links in the description for all
these pieces that I showed you guys.
Thank you so much to Halara for
sponsoring today's video. You guys know
I love them. Wear them all the time. And
I love a good haul of activewear. It
just makes me so motivated and I
especially love just all the cute colors
that I got. I've actually had such a
productive day today. I have been really
making a point of filling out my
planner. The problem with me is that
like if I don't have structure, I am not
doing anything. Like if I don't tell
myself do this, do this and do that and
have a plan for the next day. I am doing
absolutely nothing. I thrive off of some
sort of structure. And so that's why
it's so important for me like if I want
to have a productive day and actually
get stuff done, I need to write it down
and plan out my day. I've been like time
blocking my day on my phone and then as
well as having a running to-do list in
my planner and it just makes me feel so
much better. So, couple more things I
need to do today. Yeah, I've just had a
very productive day and I know it's all
thanks to my planning, but I think I'm
going to just cook dinner now cuz it's
already almost 6:00. My internal clock
right now has been shifted like so much
later because I have been just in a
routine of going to bed so much later
and waking up so much later because of
like vacation, just the summer, etc.
I've just been having a lot of fun. So,
I've been like going to bed late, waking
up later, and I just want to get my body
back on like a good time routine, a good
schedule again. I'm going to start
dinner now so that I can eat by latest
7, which is still even late for me. I
wish I started the day a little bit
earlier, but we're easing ourselves back
into it. Okay, if you want to fix your
sleep schedule, my best advice is just
like ease yourself into it. Just do it
by like half an hour. Like go to bed
half an hour earlier, wake up half an
hour earlier, and increase that by a
little bit every day until you're at
your goal time. But I did book a workout
class for tomorrow. So, I'm very excited
about that because that's going to get
my booty up and moving out of the house,
which is motivating and like I need to
make it there on time. So, like I have
no excuse. So, we'll cook dinner
together, get our last tasks done for
the day. But overall, I've had a very
productive day. I also got to kind of
clean the kitchen a bit. So, let's also
do that. I'm also just trying to stay on
top of the house in general. Like, if
something needs to be cleaned, don't put
it off. Just clean it in the moment it
needs to be cleaned and everything will
stay clean.
Heat. Heat.
Heat.
Hey,
hey, hey.
Good morning you guys. I have a workout
class, so I got to leave really soon.
But I'm just making myself a little
cottage cheese bowl. So, what I did was
I just defrosted some frozen
blueberries. And then I'm just adding
some of this um baker's gourmet cottage
cheese. It's really good. This is like
my favorite cottage cheese cuz it's like
very dry. It's not like wet, if that
makes sense. I feel like the wet one's
better for baking and like egg bites and
stuff. But I like to just eat this one
with like fruit and berries, mix it in
with honey, and it's so good. such a
little quick easy thing to to eat before
I go work out just because I don't like
having anything too heavy, but I
definitely want to have something in my
stomach. So, I did have some chia seed
water this morning already, but I just
thought since I have some extra time,
I'll make a little cottage cheese
blueberry bowl and then that way it also
gives you a bit of fiber. I've been
really trying to have more fiber. The ch
seed water that I make every morning has
a lot of fiber, so that's good. And then
I also try to incorporate obviously some
fruit for fiber cuz I feel like fiber is
so underrated. A lot of people get
enough fiber in a day. So, I've been
trying to get like enough fiber in a
day. So, this is my little blueberry
cottage cheese bowl. This is also a very
clean cottage cheese. Milk, partly skid
milk, and bacterial culture. And that is
literally it. Super easy. And I love it
with blueberries. It's so good.
I've been also trying to stay off of
social media in the mornings. Obviously,
you guys know I did my social media
detox. I just posted a video about that.
I've been really trying to keep up with
it. And I've been being good at like not
scrolling in bed in the morning, waking
up, putting my phone away like I used to
always do, but then I just got into a
bad habit of like literally going on my
phone every morning. So, I've been
really trying to go back to my roots and
I know it makes me feel good. So, I am
not scrolling social media in the
mornings anymore until like after my
morning routine. And I'm honestly just
trying to avoid it in general. Like
every time I go on, I like allow myself
to be on for like literally 2 minutes
and I'm like, "Okay, done." Like that is
it. And I'm really trying to be diligent
about that. And then instead if I want
some like entertainment in the morning,
I'll just put on like a podcast in the
background of like me being productive
and like actually getting stuff done
because whenever I put on like a YouTube
video or something, it's a lot more
distracting to look at the screen
obviously. So podcasts are so nice for
that reason. My podcast is actually on a
break right now. We haven't posted for
so long because we just got so busy.
We're kind of taking like an
unintentional break right now and we're
going to take the opportunity to like
rebrand our podcast and kind of probably
launch it again in September, which is
exciting. So, a little break to get
reinspired since we don't really make a
lot of money or any money at all from
it. It like goes on the back burner in
our life because it's not like our
income. So, it's more of like a hobby we
do. That's why it like takes the back
seat sometimes when, you know, we have
other priorities and work. I'm going to
go ahead and take my supplements right
now. I take an omega-3 every day, beta
carotene, and then um a D3.
And then I got a bunch of um Lemi
supplements in PR like a few months ago.
So, I've been slowly working my way
through them. And I just opened the
Lummy Glow Hair, Skin, and Nails
gummies, and they're so good. I just
started them like a couple days ago, so
I don't know. Can't attest to them yet.
They're so yummy. One thing about Lummy
Lummy gummies is that they're literally
the yummiest things ever. I'm going to
take two of those. Let's get to our
workout. I will update you guys when
we're there.
I just finished the class. It was
actually a really good class, you guys.
I have not done the degree in I think
it's been exactly a month now. So, it's
been so long since I've specifically
done degree. And oh my gosh, I was
shaking so much, like quivering. I had
to lower the weight so much because I
literally could not take it. Gleree
works micro muscle movements and so I
feel like if I don't keep consistent
with it every time I go to a class I am
absolutely destroyed which is a good
thing because it was such a good workout
but it was very very difficult. And the
studio that I just went to only does
40minute classes but they're so intense
like with lree and like even Pilates I
think you don't really get a break. It's
not like the instructor's like okay take
a water break take a water break. It's
like 40 minutes straight. Like you are
transitioning into the different
movements like one after the other. It's
not like you get a break. So that's why
the classes are shorter because you're
not stopping. You're literally not
stopping the whole time. For me, it's
worth the investment cuz it workout
classes nowadays, you guys, are so
expensive. I feel like nobody talks
about it. But literally for one degree
class is like $40. And if you buy like a
monthly membership or like a monthly
package, it can be upwards to like 300
to$400 even to $500 a month depending on
how often you go. Some class packages
are like if you want to go eight times
per month, so like twice a week that is
upwards of like $300 per month, which is
kind of insane just to go somewhere
twice a week for a 40 45 minute class.
Like that is pretty insane. But I do
think like it is worth the investment
and I love going to workout classes with
friends. It's just like a fun thing to
do. I love my day a week where I get to
go to a workout class. So I haven't like
bought a membership like since moving
cuz like I had a membership that I was
paying every month. It was like over
$300 that I was paying when I lived in
our house. um before we moved and I
loved that. But then once we moved, I
haven't gotten a membership yet just
because there's a lot more variety of
workout classes in Vancouver. So I feel
like when I go to a workout class like I
want to kind of try different ones and I
don't go as often anymore. I do like my
own workouts which saves a lot of money
in the grand scheme of things because
that's kind of crazy spending $300 to
$400 a month on literally two classes a
week. So yeah, I've just been like going
with friends and then this class I had
left over because I bought a class pack
with this place and they were going to
expire this month and I'm like what the
heck? They only lasted like 2 months so
I needed to use it up so I just use the
last one in the class pack. Yeah, I just
love doing workout classes with friends.
It's just such like a fun thing to do.
So I'm not going to stop doing workout
classes but like definitely less often
than I used to. But it is worth the
investment for me. I've just been like
vibing with like different types of
workouts like running and stuff. So I
haven't been going as often but I do
love me some lree. Like I love it way
better than Pilates, as you guys know.
Can't shut up about lree. So, I think
I'm going to head home now. I don't
know. I'm just debating if I want to
stop at the grocery store right now
before I go home. I'm going to be sore
tomorrow. I already know. I was sore
from my run yesterday. Like this morning
when I woke up, I was like, "Oh my gosh,
why am I sore from this run?" Because I
haven't run in so long. And I know now
I'm going to be extra sore tomorrow.
Maybe I'll take a restate tomorrow or
just do like 10k step walk or something
lighter. Anyways, let's head out and
start driving. Heat.
Heat.
Today's breakfast I Got a little thin
rice cake with two boiled eggs mixed
with mayo, salt, pepper, Sriracha, and
then I felt like a matcha today. So, I
made a matcha with protein milk. That is
my breakfast.
I just got home from my workout class
and I just hopped off a meeting with my
manager, Julia. So, now I have to film a
little Tik Tok collaboration that I'm
doing for a sponsored post. So, I'm
going to kind of just like lock in and
film that, get that done. But anyways, I
was just in my bathroom and I just kind
of wanted to show you guys a few
products that I've been loving recently,
specifically affordable products, a
couple that I picked up recently that
I've just been loving. So, I got this
E.L.F. blush tint in the shade cherry
cola. It has been my favorite. I
actually had the benitint. Like, I had
been using the benitin for years. And
obviously, this E.L.F. one is new. I
lost my Benitin. Like I bought a brand
new one not that long ago, like
literally a month ago, and I lost it. I
don't know what happened to it. I think
it rolled over the edge of the earth
because when I say I have no idea what
happened to my Benitant, it poofed out
of existence. Like I've cleaned my
bathroom. I've looked through all my
stuff. I don't know what happened to it.
And I am like for sure like I know that
I brought it home cuz I had it in my
purse at one point and then I used it at
home and then poof, it was literally
it's literally gone. So I'm sure it like
might show up one day in a random ass
spot. But in the meantime, I'm like, I
don't want to repurchase the Benitin
because it is like on the pricier side.
So, I'm like, why don't I just try this
ELF one? And it has been doing me really
good. I just put a little glob on and
then I blend it out with like a little
brush or even just like use my fingers
like on my cheeks. It's my favorite
blush. Like, I have just been using this
as blush recently. It just gives such a
natural color and a natural finish and
it's so lightweight on the skin. Highly,
highly recommend this E.L.F. blush tint.
I have been obsessed with this Garnier
vitamin C brightening daily UV fluid.
It's 50 plus SPF. Like that is such a
sle and it's very affordable cuz it's
like obviously Garnier. I actually got
this sent to me in PR and I needed a new
sunscreen to try out like for the summer
for daily under my makeup. I love the
feeling of it on my face. It sits so
well. So I would highly recommend this
one if you guys are looking for like an
everyday affordable sunscreen. I've been
getting a lot of PR packages from
L'Oreal recently. As you could see, I
have been through this brow product, but
this has been my go-to brow product. I
don't have any in my brows right now cuz
I haven't done like my actual makeup yet
today. I need to order a new one cuz I
actually got this for free in PR, but I
literally need to go buy a new one
because this has been my favorite brow
product in the world. Like, I've tried
so many brow products by now. But this
one, I feel like there's just nothing
that compares at the price. And then for
my Canadian girlies, there's this brand
called Sona that I have been using
recently. And I also have their lip
liner, but they sent me like a package
of stuff and I have been honestly
reaching for it. This This is their new
lip glaze and they have it like in a
bunch of shades. Pretty sure it's only
sold in Canada, but it is like a road
dupe and such an affordable price. Like
literally, you don't need to be spending
30 bucks on a lip product. This is like
$5 or something. Yeah, they sell it at
Ardan and I'm pretty sure you can get it
online, too. So, definitely check out
Sona cuz they have like such good
quality affordable makeup products. I
have been like lathering my lips in
this. So, highly recommend. Anyways,
those are just some random affordable
products I've been using recently that I
have been loving. So, I'm going to get
my filming done that I need to get done
and then I'm going to shower cuz I'm
going out tonight. We're having a girls
night. We have a reszo booked at a
restaurant in Vancouver. So, I'm going
to get my filming done and then actually
like just shower, wash my hair, and then
go out tonight. So, I will update you
guys in a bit. Mie wanted to say hi
though before we go. Say hi. Oh my god,
guys. I'm obsessed. Like getting cats
was the best thing we ever we ever did.
ever.
It's definitely right now.
my eyes. Please wrap it up here.
No.
Oh my gosh, the gaps are killing me. I
almost forgot to do one of my favorite
parts of my makeup. And what is that?
Just my little highlighter. That was not
worthy of an act.
>> That was not worthy of dramatic.
Somebody give me a flash

Give a drink to her. Two out of 10.

You're looking at her. Naomi thinks it's

an olive.
>> I love a dirty martini. I've had some
dirty martinis. This is so good.

chef's kiss.
Hi guys. Satie and I are currently in a
cafe. We're both editing and I'm just
working on a video locking in cuz I have
lots of editing to do. We started
yapping for the first like 3 hours we
were here. But now we're going to lock
in and do some editing. Sad is editing
her first YouTube videos, which is so
exciting. So, I'm helping her kind of
look through that and do that. We just
have a little bit of an editing date
going on. So, we're going to lock in,
get some editing done. It's fun to just
come out to a cafe once in a while to
like switch up the scenery cuz I feel
like I'm always just editing at home on
my computer. So, it's fun to be out and
about on our laptops. It like makes it
funner. Especially with noise cancelling
headphones. I feel locked in but still
like in a fun environment with people
around. So, love the vibe. We're just
going to lock in and do some editing
now. So, let's get editing.
I just finished editing. I'm on the way
home. Had a semi productive editing day.
It's just so fun to like get out of the
house and like switch up my environment
for work since I'm always just like
doing it by myself in my room. I love a
good cafe moment with a friend. It just
like romanticizes things more and makes
it more fun. Especially cuz it's the
summer so I want like every opportunity
to leave the house cuz I'm always at
home. So that's the thing is like I feel
like I always have to make opportunities
to leave the house for myself. Otherwise
like I'm not leaving the house. Like I
don't have a solid opportunity to really
leave the house. So anyways, on the way
home right now and then I'm going to
continue editing because obviously like
the only thing is working with the
friend is it could get quite distracting
because we just started yapping on about
anything else but doing work. So we were
definitely yapping but that's like half
the fun of it. Like I didn't go there
expecting to get like the most amount of
work done. I knew this was going to
happen and we were going to yap. Yeah. I
just feel like the winter is more like
of a lock in season for me where I just
like put my head down and I'm like,
"Okay, I could still do fun things in
the winter, but like there's not as many
fun things to do in the winter." So, if
you're going to lock in, I feel like the
winter is a good time to do that because
it also gives you something else to
focus on rather than like the seasonal
depression and the weather being
horrible. So, like in the summer, it's
just I find it so much harder to
actually like lock myself in. It's just
too fun. Like the sun doesn't set until
9 10. There's just so many opportunities
to do fun things like vacationing and
whatever. Then in the winter, the
sunset's at 4:00. Like there's nothing
much to do. So, I'm going to make um
some chicken wraps for dinner tonight.
It's going to be so good with peanut
sauce. I love a good peanut sauce. Okay.
I love Vietnamese food. And I feel like
they use peanut sauce a lot. Love a good
peanut sauce. So, I'm going to make that
homemade tonight. It is a Friday today,
but I'm still going to make a
home-cooked meal cuz usually like
sometimes we'll eat out Fridays, but
today I'm like, "No, I have the
groceries. I bought the ingredients.
It's like we're going to lock in and
make a home-cooked meal tonight because
I am trying to be better at cooking. So,
just to get myself keep myself in like
that good routine. Anyways, it's a
beautiful day out. Got out of the house,
which I'm happy about. And now going to
log in, edit more, and then cook a nice
dinner. I made the wraps that I was
talking about. I will link the video
that I have that actually like shows you
guys this recipe. I made this peanut
sauce just kind of by eye. I just did
peanut sauce, um, rice vinegar, soy
sauce, some chili oil, lime juice,
water, and then I have the wraps
assembled. They're so messy cuz like I
don't know how to wrap properly, but
they're so yummy and healthy. So yeah,
there's just chicken, veggies, or
arugula in here and dipped in the peanut
sauce is so so so good. So this is my
Friday night dinner.
Heat. Heat.
Heat.
Yeah.
