Video summary

The FunDhan is an educational board game designed to teach children essential financial literacy concepts through interactive play involving money management, spending habits, and saving strategies. The game components include a budget sheet for tracking finances, character-specific budget cards that define unique missions, need cards representing various purchases or events, risk cards introducing chance-based scenarios, and a standard die. Players can engage in the game with two to four participants, each assuming the role of a specific character like Pigasso who must navigate their own financial journey while adhering to strict mission parameters regarding health scores, desire points, and savings goals. To begin gameplay, players distribute budget sheets and assign secret identity cards that outline individual objectives, such as maintaining a minimum health score or reaching a target for desire before saving a specific amount of currency at the end. The game setup involves shuffling need and risk decks to create separate piles, with six need cards placed face down in play areas while others are set aside. Gameplay proceeds clockwise, where each player on their turn chooses between drawing a need card that simulates real-life expenses like buying chocolate or omelettes, or opting for a risk card by rolling the die. When a need card is drawn, players record the cost as a deduction from their starting capital and simultaneously calculate cumulative gains in health and desire scores based on the item purchased. Risk cards introduce an element of uncertainty that can benefit all players or only the roller depending on the situation depicted, such as extra art periods granting bonus points to those who enjoy them while penalizing others. These scenarios require careful tracking because effects may apply retroactively if a player has not yet taken their turn in a specific round, and once risk cards are exhausted after fourteen rounds representing two weeks of game time, only need cards remain for the remainder of the session. Strategic decision-making becomes crucial as players must weigh whether to take risks when funds are low or select advantage-generating need cards that might hinder opponents, ultimately aiming to complete all three mission targets: health, desire, and savings accumulation within the allotted rounds. The game concludes after fourteen rounds have been completed by every participant, at which point final scores for total health, total desire, and remaining cash reserves are tallied on the budget sheet's last row. Victory is awarded only to players who successfully meet their specific character mission requirements across all three categories; simply saving money or achieving high scores in one area without meeting others results in no win condition. In cases where multiple players satisfy all criteria simultaneously, they share the victory and receive any associated reward amounts specified on their cards. For two-player variants, certain higher-value need cards are removed from circulation to balance gameplay dynamics while maintaining core rules regarding risk management and strategic budgeting throughout the experience.

Hello. This is our Fadhan game which is an educational game based on financial literacy. By playing this game, children will learn important concepts like understanding money, spending and saving in a fun way. Let us know what children will learn in this game and how they will learn. When we open this box, we find an instruction manual in it. A. We have been given some sheets. We call this the budget sheet. We are also given budget cards in it. We get a Rescue card in this box and we get some Need cards and the last component of this game is a dice. We'll take a look at the game setup. Actually, this game can be played by two to four people together. But now we will understand how this game will be played if three to four people have to play it. So what will we do first? We will take the budget sheet and give one budget sheet to each player. After the budget sheet, we will take the budget cards. What will we do with the budget card? We will give one budget card to each player without looking at it. Now let us take a look at the budget card. Each budget card has a character assigned to it. All players have to play the game by becoming this character. Some numbers are also given on these. All players have to fill in the details of their respective characters in the budget sheet. My character. What is my character's name ? Pigasso. And what is its mission? Health has to be maintained at 45 and Desire Score at 60 and at the end of the game, he has to save ₹100. The starting money will always be 300. Now we will talk about risk cards. What will you do with risk cards? We'll shuffle it nicely. We will keep it here in this manner. Now it's our turn for need cards. What will we do with the Needs cards? We will shuffle it well. What will we do after shuffling ? We'll place the six Needs cards face down here like this. We will place the remaining need cards here on the side like this. Our game setup is now ready and will look something like this. We will know what is the objective of the game? Each character has been given a mission. Like our character is Pigasso. What is Pigasso's mission? It has to score Health 45, Desire 60 and also save ₹100. The player who successfully achieves his mission will win the game. What do we do to start the game? First of all, what will we do with our need cards? Will face up. Who will be the first player? The player who has gone to the bank most recently will be made the first player. Now the first player can either pick up a Need card or decide to pick up a Risk card. First let's see what happens when you pick up a need card. So what will the first player do ? One of these six will pick up the Need card. Suppose Pigasso picked this Need card which is what? Chocolate and for this he has spent ₹15 and for this he gets two health score and five desire score. How will we fill this on our sheet? Reasons for Gain and Loss in Money. What have I spent money on in this? Chocolate. I have bought chocolate. How much money have I spent? 15. So I'm going to write minus 15 here. How much health score do I get here? Also, what is my Desire Score here? Five. I had ₹300 earlier and 15 of it is gone, how much is it now? Here I am 300 - 15 285, so in this way I will keep all the records of my expenses on my budget sheet. As soon as a card slot becomes vacant here , we will immediately pick up a need card from the deck and place it here like this. Each player has the option to pick up one of these six Need cards or choose to pick up a Risk card. How to proceed with the game? Once he understands. The next player's turn will come in a clockwise direction. Suppose now player two Pesi, player three Ploga and player four Pipo have taken their turns and in the second round it is again the turn of player one. The first player, Pigasso, again chooses to pick up a Need card. Suppose he decides to pick up this card. So how will he fill this in his budget sheet? In the reason for gain and loss of money, first of all the omelette and how much did Pigasso spend on it - 30 how much health does he get 8 so here we will write it like this 2 + 8 = 10 and similarly how will we write the desire score 5 + 6 = 11 now how much money do I have left? We'll subtract this from the previous one. How much will it be? From 285 we will subtract 30, 25 = 55. So here we have to keep in mind that whenever we are filling our health and desire score, we will fill it in a cumulative manner. The advantage of this is that you can see at a glance what your total health and desire score is and how much more is needed to achieve the mission. As I can see here, what is my total health score so far ? 10 and here my desire score is 11. Now we will learn how to play the risk card. To play the Risk card, we will first take the dice. We will roll the dice. After rolling, Pink came to us. So we'll pick up a risk card. There are three situations that can be seen in the risk card. Now we will follow the pink situation. Like what is written here? Extra Art Period for All. Our character has been given some likes and dislikes. Like what's up with Pigasso? If he likes eight periods, then he will be given five more desire points for this. Now let us see how to fill it in the budget sheet. So what am I writing about in the third round? I'll write dice roll with eight so I remember that eight periods came for all. And I haven't spent any money on this. So zero will come here. What is my health score? 10 up and how much do I have? Earlier the desire score was 11, I will add five to it. How much has my desire become now 16 How much money do I still have 255 Now since the situation on the risk card was for all, hence it will be applicable to other players also. If the situation on the Risk card is not For All, it will apply to the player who rolled the dice. Now let's see how this risk card taken by Pigasso will affect the other players. If Pacey does n't like art, five Desire points will be taken away. So what will we do? This desire point which we have filled in the second round, we will write -5 here in this manner. We are writing this here because Pacey has not played the third round yet. When it's your turn to pay, you can pay here. So when the third round of money comes, then we will calculate the desire here and write it. There are a total of 14 risk cards in the game. Therefore, if Risk cards ever run out, they will not be brought back into the game. After that, players will only have to pick up the Needs card. Is it better to pick up the Need card or the Risk card. You can also use strategy when choosing the need card. You can choose a card that gives you an advantage and also disadvantages another player. When the risk cards are picked matters a lot. If money is low, taking risks can be harmful. We will advance the game in a clockwise direction. The game ends when all players have completed 14 rounds, representing two weeks. In the budget sheet, you will see Total Health, Total Desire, and Total Savings in the last row. In this way, if the player has achieved his health and desire targets, then he also gets the reward amount which is given on the budget card. I would like to show up as if it's Pacey. If Pesi has achieved Health and Desire by his 14th round, he will get this one-time reward plus 40. The player who completes the mission will win the game. Just saving money is not enough and just achieving health and desire is also not enough. To win, the player has to achieve all three targets. Health, Desire, Savings. Sometimes more than one player can be the winner. How can this game be played in two players ? If the game is being played with only two players, we will remove the 5, 45 and 50 cards from the need cards. You will remove cards worth 5, 45, 50. Here I have taken out these cards separately. I will throw him out of the game. I will play the game with the remaining Need cards. There is no change in the risk card. There is no difference in the rules of the rest of the game. You can play the games as is. So, this was our educational financial literacy game fun. We hope you enjoy this game and learn important money skills and budgeting while playing it.
