FNAF: FORGOTTEN HORRORS... - NEW BOOK SERIES ANNOUNCED!

A brand new Five Nights at Freddy's mystery novel series has been revealed, following a fan favorite female character as she uncovers the dark secrets behind the strange disappearances at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. So, our thoughts and theories on the brand new book series and so much more FNAF news is exactly what we're going to be talking about here today. And so first up for today's news, we actually got the very first look at the brand new FNAF 4 Nightmare Hex plushies. This is going to be the next big wave from Hex for their FNAF lineup. As you can see, we've gotten Foxy and Bonnie revealed. We do know that Freddy and Chica are going to be included. And then there is also going to be a second FNAF 4 wave entirely focused on Nightmare Fredbear. But already, these plushies look so detailed. All of the withering, the broken down limbs, and of course, the terrifying teeth and claws. Moving on. Now, we got a brand new post from the official FNAF Scott Games Twitter account, seemingly confirming that Fazbear Frights will also be getting updated covers just like Tails. Previously, we got the full artwork for Into the Pit. A lot of us weren't really sure why. Like, is it going to be a new book cover? It didn't have the template for the book like title and authors. Is it for the game? Is it going to be used in the upcoming character encyclopedia? But based on the new post from FNAF Scott Games, it does seem like it is an updated cover. I saw some FNAF fans be like, "It's not an updated cover. It's just a concept if there was an updated cover." And let's think about that for a moment. Why would they do that? Why would they be like, "Oh, gee, I wonder what it would look like as a book cover, but let's not actually do it." Why would they do that? especially cuz again they've already updated all the covers for Tales. It only makes sense to go back and also update Frights. But I guess we're just going to have to stay on the lookout once again. Another absolutely fantastic artwork by Snlesles. And so now let's talk about Fortnite because we've got some brand new details on the alleged FNAF Fortnite collaboration. We've done like two separate videos now talking about all of the evidence for FNAF finally joining Fortnite. I'll do a quick rundown, but if you want a more detailed explanation for why we assume FNAF is coming to Fortnite, I'll leave those videos linked down below. But there really is a lot of evidence, and in fact, we got even more evidence today. So, Fortnite is in the middle of their gaming legend season right now that just so happens to be running through Fortnite this year. And also on the brand new map, there is a location that looks pretty dang identical to the FNAF pizzeria in the movies. Also, we've gotten confirmation from Scott Games that we are getting a brand new FNAF collaboration soon. Whatever it is, we've gotten it confirmed from leakers that FNAF really is joining Fortnite this year. And then also, apparently in a brand new update, there is going to be a sign on the pizzeria location. That is in like the exact same spot that the Freddy Fazbear's pizza sign is at the front of the building. And so now, in a brand new update to Fortnite, we got two major new details. The first one is that the location that again we're speculating is the FNAF point of interest is going to have security cameras. They have like a glitching effect. They have glitch effects in a folder in the files literally for Fortnite. And then also there's a brand new jump scare sound effect and animation. In the files, it is a lobby hack code. So when you type in jump scare, it plays a jump scare animation. It's specifically called a jump scare teaser. and then it plays this sound effect. So to recap, we have a gaming season that's running through Fortnite, a location on the map that looks pretty dang identical to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, even apparently is going to have a sign pretty soon. It has security cameras around the building. There is a jump scare sound effect and and animation. Scott Games has confirmed an official FNAF collaboration is on the way and leakers have have confirmed that FNAF is joining Fortnite. Why can't we just get the official confirmation? Listen, I totally understand them wanting to save like the skins reveal or the location reveal for like a trailer for Fortnite. But like Scott, I'm losing my mind at this point. Just fill in the question marks with Fortnite and you can end my suffering. I truly don't know what I'm going to do if this is not for FNAF Fortnite. Like there's so much evidence. It has to be happening. And so now, let's talk about the big new story for today, which is we got the reveal of a brand new book series titled Five Nights at Freddy's: Forgotten Horrors. Just like all the other FNAF series, it's a young adult horror mystery with the first volume of this brand new series dropping on June 1st, 2027. And the description reads, "This spine tingling first audio book in a mystery series that will haunt even the bravest FNAF fan and keep them turning the pages. Follow a fan favorite Five Nights at Freddy's character as she investigates a series of disappearances at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeras across the United States to uncover a dark secret that ties them all together. So, a few interesting thoughts there. Number one, I want to make it clear that it says audiobook because this is the page for the audiobook of the book. I've seen some FNAF fans try to run with the theory that oh my gosh, it's like an audio book. It's going to be like an immersive experience. This is just the page for the audiobook version of the book. It is going to be a real book as well. It just so happens to be that the page for the audiobook version was the first page that we saw publicly, which actually since its reveal has been taken down. So, very clearly this was not supposed to be revealed just yet, which had a few people theorizing maybe they took it down so quick and it wasn't supposed to be revealed because it's connected to the weird B teaser that we got from FNAF Scott Games. Cuz if you look at that image, it is the exact same aspect ratio as the other book covers. I really don't know if it connects to the B teaser. Honestly, we know so little about that teaser that it's really hard to speculate what it's for. I'm still in the camp that I think it's for the next game. It is exciting to me personally that this is not an anthology series of books. It doesn't seem like, at least from the description, that it's going to follow the style of Tales and Frights where it's one book and then three short stories inside. It seems like it's going back to like the the Charlie trilogy days where it's one book focused on one character, their journey throughout that book, and there's going to be multiple volumes of them throughout the process, but it's just following one person, which I am super down for. I said for the longest time, if we were to get another book series, I'd want it to be not an anthology book. I want it to be another like trilogy of novels. And so based on the description of us following one main character as they investigate disappearances across the US, which is interesting, it kind of seems like one book is going to focus on like one location, one Freddy's location, one mystery, and then as the volumes go on, they move on to another case and another case, and then eventually at the end of the books, it all ties together. So very clearly they're going for like a much bigger scope with this book series than any other series I think we've ever gotten cuz it's not just one Freddy's location. It's not just one FNAF character. It is a whole bunch of Freddy's locations across the whole country and whatever secret ties them all together ties together the disappearances and the mysteries behind these locations. Whether that's like the mimic or William or some other thing we don't even know about just yet. Going to have to wait and see. But so the big question becomes, who is the character? Who is the fan favorite female FNAF character that we're following in this book series? Definitely not going to be any of the kids. So that rules out like Elizabeth and Cassie, unless they age her up, but I don't think they will. Kind of seems like she's dealing with a whole lot of stuff already in Ruin and whatever is happening after Ruin. I don't think she's also then on a side quest of investigating Freddy's locations. I really don't see it being anyone like Mrs. Afton or Fiona. again doesn't really feel like it kind of fits their character. If we get more Fiona content, I really do feel like it's going to be like a game set during Fazfest during the big fire and, you know, incident that happens there that presumably gets her killed. I I still feel like we could get like a game or a DLC based on that. I've seen some people theorize it could be like Charlie or Jessica from the Silverized trilogy, which would be really cool. Again, I just don't know how much it really fits those characters. I love the Silverized trilogy. I love those characters. I would love for them to return in some shape or form in the future. Maybe this is going to be that. I don't know. But I think when it really comes down to it, there's two real big candidates because it has to be an established well-liked character. It can't be a new one cuz they say fan favorite. Obviously, we can't like a character if we don't know they exist. So, I think the big two names that are being thrown around right now are Vanessa or Brunin Light, which if you don't know who that is, think we can safely knock them out of the counting. It's probably going to be about Vanessa. Bronwin Light is a character from The Week before book who's dead anyways now. So, I really don't think it's going to follow them, but I wanted to give them a shout out cuz a lot of people are throwing out their name. Brunwin is a junior reporter and journalist that's investigating Freddy's in The Week before, which matches up a whole lot with this brand new description talking about a female character that's investigating Freddy's. But again, two things. Number one, she's dead. Apparently, she dies at the end of the book. RIP Bronnin. Number two, how many fans can tell me who the hell Brunwin Light is? Definitely doesn't seem like a fan favorite character. To me, it really makes sense if it is Vanessa. She's a fan favorite character. She's like one of the most popular female FNAF characters of all time. And still, we know so little about her story, her character. So, I think giving her her own book series would really help flesh out her character, her backstory, cuz there are so many games that involve Vanessa or contain events that happen because of Vanessa, from FNAF Aor to Security Breach to Ruin to Security Breach 2. There's definitely a few parts in those timelines that this series could slot into. Whether it's her first learning about Fazbear Entertainment before she gets the job with, you know, the FNAF AR crew, or it's like after a security breach and during Ruin where her and Gregory are off doing their own thing, investigating about Freddy's, like what's the history behind this? What are all the connections between like Glitz Trap and the Mimic and Willie Afton? Maybe it'll reveal that Vanessa's the daughter of Willie Mton like she is in the movies. I don't know. Maybe that's the big plot twist that's tying all this stuff together. Scott has said in interviews that he really likes Vany and that he hopes to use her more in the future. So maybe not only are we getting her in Security Bridge 2, maybe she's getting her own book series or at least like Vanessa. >> I've always really liked Vany as a character. I don't think that Vany was utilized to her fullest potential. And so hopefully we'll see another opportunity for uh for Vany to return as well. We'll see. >> I would be very very excited for that. Again, my biggest guess is Vanessa. It just, truth be told, there's so little female FNAF human characters that it could be. And I feel like Vanessa just makes the most sense, like the most obvious answer. She's investigating Freddy's either before she gets the job, gets involved with Freddy's or after she's like freed from Glyph Strap's control to investigate what's going on here, like what what what the heck's happening. Finds out about all these other locations, all these other incidents, you know, tracks down like stats and details on like Willie Mton or Glitch Trap or the Mimic or whatever. Maybe a new mystery like how we got Stitch Wraith was a new guy when when uh Frights came out. I think that would be really cool. And there is a big question obviously if we're getting a new book series. Is it going to be canon to the games or not? At this point I feel like it would be beneficial to the community and theorizing if we were just told straight up this is canon, this is not canon. That has been like the biggest argument that has come from every single FNAF book, every single FNAF book series. Are these canon? Can these be used to support evidence for game stuff, for the lore of the games, or is it a separate universe? So, Scott, you've done a whole lot of community pleasing over the past month or two.
