FKF Deadlock, Gor Mahia's Cairo Test, Arsenal Stun Chelsea & Champions League | #SportsRoundUp
Watch on YouTubeVideo summary
The Sports RoundUp begins with a critical look at the Kenyan football landscape, specifically addressing the significant delay in the FKF Premier League which has been postponed for three weeks. This hiatus has created a major concern regarding player match fitness as teams prepare for upcoming AFCON qualifiers and the Champions League. The discussion highlights the struggles of Gor Mahia and Taska, who have faced elimination from continental competitions due to a lack of competitive league play. While the Confederation Cup offers a glimmer of hope for Taska following their draw against Al-Ahli, both Kenyan giants are at a disadvantage compared to well-prepared European opponents like Pyramids in Cairo, where fatigue and tactical missteps have already cost them dearly.
The conversation then shifts to the English Premier League, focusing on the dramatic London Derby where Arsenal stunned Chelsea with a 2-1 victory. The hosts analyze Chelsea's rebuilding phase under Mikel Arteta, noting that while their attack is promising, defensive frailties and midfield instability continue to hinder them against top-tier opposition like Arsenal. In contrast, Manchester United's draw against Everton was scrutinized for poor defensive discipline, particularly in conceding late goals, raising questions about the need for a ruthless manager to clean up the squad. Meanwhile, Liverpool has found form with the return of Alexander Isak, though doubts remain about their ability to challenge for the title compared to the aggressive ambitions of Arsenal and Chelsea.
Beyond domestic leagues, the spotlight turns to the Champions League action where Real Madrid defeated Inter Milan, Barcelona secured a dominant win over Bayer Leverkusen, and PSG thrashed Slovan Bratislava. The segment praises Arsenal's impressive unbeaten run in Europe but expresses skepticism about other European giants like Bayern Munich and PSG who have shown inconsistency. The rugby section concludes the roundup by highlighting the dominance of KCB Rugby and Kabras in the Division One tournament, with KCB viewed as the clear favorite to retain their title due to heavy investment and a strong youth development pipeline that rivals like Menengai Oilers struggle to match.

All right, good morning. Welcome back.
Now, we're going to switch gears away
from music and lifestyle. Now, we're
going to talk about sports. Welcome to
the sports roundup where I give you the
updates of the weekend. What's that
really been trending out there making
headlines on matter sports? We're going
to look at the FKF Premier League. Why
has it not yet started after three uh
three weeks late late for for the
Premier League? Remember, we are coming
to to play for them for the Afan
qualifier. So we want to see our players
um really really match fit but we have
not seen them on the league rather than
all the other leagues have started.
Apart from that we're going to discuss
more about now the calf champions league
is gay and now they are heading all the
way to Cah to play for the second leg
against pyramid. So we're going to
discuss more about that. Then we later
on touch on a little bit of mu 7 that
took place KB rugby yet again crown the
champions. I think it's affair between
KCB Rugby and Kabas Rugby going ban for
ban. If you win this and win the next
one, but I want to see who is going to
win the overall of um the overall that
is the overall tournament. But apart
from that, now we going to switch all
the way to Europe. We're going to look
at the English Premier League. We look a
little bit of what really happened with
the weekend. Manchester United against
Everton. Then we had Chelsea versus
Arsenal. I think that was the game of
the weekend. Then of course we had
Manchester City. Then of course after
after the we had the EPL. Now we have
the Champions League yet back again.
Started on Tuesday and Wednesday and
today some of few matches will be played
also today. So we're going to look at
some of the key matches were played
talking about Real Madrid against Inter
Milan and also we finish up with Chelsea
against Le for the Carabal Cup. So make
sure you stay tuned for all that and
many more. Make sure you don't miss all
that conversation. My good name is James
John. You can find me on social media
James. Remember our social media pages
are channel. So make sure you engage
with us. But for now let me introduce
the person I'm with right now in the
building. One and only Nika Geek. very
happy apart from Gormaya losing during
the weekend. I think the performance
against Napoli in the Champions League
and also the performance against Chelsea
in the English Premier League was
amazing to satisfy a sass of one of the
biggest title containers for the
Champions League and also for the
English Premier League or what's your
view Nick? Good morning.
>> Thank you so much James. Mhm.
>> I think we had a good weekend
>> because as as we predicted last time
>> we knew that is going to do what you
always do to Chelsea and he did that one
exactly.
>> Mhm.
>> So the only disappointing part is how
Gorma here conceded goals and also the
comeback that Taska received after
scoring two goals. So it is like almost
our Kenyan teams are in one way or the
other they are out of the competition.
So that's the only disappointing bit.
>> Mhm.
>> But the weekend was good
>> as now has brought in the happiness and
the peace.
>> So so much encouraging for the for the
players. Now talking about some of the
players and talking about the two teams
that is Gaya and Taska. Now reflecting
back on what's really happening on the
league I was telling you about CS that
is Sal went to meet with the FKF
president just talk about some of the
issues that has been going on
no no we are not going to play in the
national league but what's your view on
now we're coming to the point where the
CS is intervening between what's really
happening in the in the league
>> yeah I I I think it is just a time for
for the CS as a representative of the
government
>> to do exactly exactly what what he's
trying to do because uh
>> if you look at even the complaints from
Charles Aono although we were not
expecting him to have those complaints
>> but he was saying that uh being that
there is no competitive matches it
affected even GMA here in terms of um in
terms of the way they played. Mhm.
>> So the same thing also came from Abu Dar
that lack of competition
>> also affected them. So in the process
you find that uh ideally we really need
this league back because teams have
invested
>> and uh also as a country we are
preparing for AFCON and we are in the
limlight yet our league has got a lot of
issues. So it is just that time where we
really need to have this league back. So
if it can be negotiated which I don't I
don't think that these things should be
negotiated
>> because the as we said last time these
people need to stick to the rules and
just let things flow
>> but let's see how things will turn out
as things stands now
>> and we just hope that the league will
resume as soon as possible.
>> Mhm. Yeah.
But they leaning more on the 29 acts
which suggests that they should play a
playoff against the number three who
finish number three at um the national
national league but looking at the their
old argument do you think they have
they have a correct way on it or it's
just a way to dodge the delegation? They
don't want just to go to the delegation.
No, you know like Kobangs are not even
dodging relegation because even if you
if you put up that play off those people
cannot win against Mombasa United.
>> One they have sold key players which
which they had if they were really
serious that they want to remain in the
league they would have retained their
key players.
>> Two you find that United have invested
in in players that can compete in KPL.
So even if they go for playoff they will
there is high chances they will they
will lose. So they just wasting KPL time
actually it is just more of a beef
between the the the ex office versus the
the current office if if you just say
things the way they are
>> because uh if you look at even the way
the act that has been used to sign the
players and even to to to to register
teams is 2025 act. So it means that if
this Pandora box is opened and we go
back to the old act act what will
happen? It means that a lot of cases
will go to court.
>> So those are the things that you have to
try to avoid
>> and let the majority
have their way.
>> Mhm.
>> So they officially think the league
should start officially cuz it has been
delayed for 3 weeks which is a lot
compared to to the clubs the
sponsorship. I think the sponsorship
made the agreement. the players of of
course you know now coming up to play it
for the AFCON of course the team has
been named that will participate in the
AFCON qualifier so want to see what will
be done I think now the the president
and the the CS will come to an agreement
and that's what should be followed now
apart from that of course we want to
discuss more about now Gmaya your very
own GMA against pyramids during the
weekend they played for the first leg at
stadium managed to to concede two goals
now you're traveling all the way to
Kaido to play pyramids for the second
leg but now looking at the quality
quality that pyramids is playing at and
looking at the quality that preon the
champions of the Kenya Premier League
GMA is playing at. Maybe what can you
say are the key gaps between this type
of this type these two teams?
>> Uh if if you look at the two teams
Gormma can is in a position to match
Pyramids toe to toe.
>> Mhm.
>> Uh one I I did not understand this the
coach selection because how do you
bench? I I even asked that question. How
do you bench your top strikers and you
don't play them? If you look at even the
way the coach for pyramid spoke,
>> he was expecting somebody like Sakari to
start when they were doing their
analysis. So it means that this player
they they rate and other players but he
was not able to see them in the lineup.
>> So somehow the coach is also I gambling
with the team. I have a match saying
that he has not played some games so
that he's able to rate his his squad but
you should just go with the the best 11.
Then something else that was also
clearly evident
>> is the fatigue the fatigue like if you
could see the energy level between
pyramid versus gormaya
>> you could see it is like just a squad
that has not played a number of matches.
So there was a lot of fatigue among the
Gormma players.
>> So uh those are some of the things that
needs to be sorted at but unfortunately
not playing several matches has made
Kenya to to be out of cuff
>> from the look of things unless another
miracle happens because I don't see if
God can pull even three goals down
>> down there.
>> Keep at uh at the same time keeping a
clean sheet. Now talking talking about
you mentioned something about the energy
that was compar compared to pyramids
what they show something also friend
that know actually was bony came out and
threw shades at GMA said
cannot match the pace of pyramids. What
do you think? What do you think? Do you
think he has a point there? Yeah, he he
has a point you know uh he has a point
in terms of preparedness
>> because uh you have seen teams when they
play during the friendly friendly
matches before a proper league begins
>> you find that uh some players are
generally unfit because uh even as they
as they go for training
>> they don't train with a purpose you know
there is a difference between training
knowing that next weekend or tomorrow
you have a very competitive match like
you are playing in the league, you need
to win compared to just training for
your personal fitness. So the he had a
point there but it is them now to push
uh every organ so that the KPL can can
start.
>> Mhm. Of course we want to see what maybe
what Gm can do in the second leg. Now
coming to the second leg they have
conceded two goals. So they need to
score about at least three goals without
conceding any other goals so that they
can qualify for the group stages of the
CF Champions League. But that is too
much to hope for. Maybe Gmiah fans still
have the hope that GMA can do something
different. Maybe you can see them
playing at least in the champ CF
Champions League. But apart from that,
let's look look at the C confederation
cup. The taska after winning the super
cup went to play Alilal in the cup
conferation cup playoff so that he can
qualify for the for the Champions League
that is confidation cup group stage but
they managed to get two two goals early
on then they managed to to draw that
game 22 but what does it mean for Julian
M and Task do you think um maybe they
still up some little bit of hope that
they may do it differently for the
second leg
I I don't see them doing it differently
though they had they had a proper chance
because you know they scored fast.
>> Mhm.
>> So the coach had this other option of
closing the game because uh you know
like C competition
>> Mhm.
>> one you still have an advantage of
scoring goals.
>> So they they had a chance to to to to
close that game after scoring those uh
the two goals. So they were able now to
bring defenders and see off the match.
Mhm.
>> But they played an open match and the
process
>> uh they conceded two goals. So it will
be a bit it will be tricky with them
because uh
>> if you look at uh other countries are
more prepared
>> to for this competition than us. So they
are likely to to pull to pull something
out of it. So if Taska
proceed
to me both both Taska and Gor it will be
more of a miracle. I can't I can't
really bet on them.
>> What does it mean maybe for these two
teams? Let's say they proceed. Maybe for
Task I think they have a little bit more
hope compared to what Gay has maybe
picture in the C confidential C this
season compared to what we had with
Nairobi United. Do you think we might do
something different compared to what
United offered us last time they were in
the Confederation Cup?
>> Uh they they might do something
different only if the league begins.
>> So if uh if if if if you have a
competitive matches going on
>> then Taska will get the rhythm
>> but if we continue this way the way
things are
>> they will still suffer the same setbacks
because u
>> there will be no much match fitness. If
you look at both teams, the major issue
is match fitness.
>> Yeah.
>> So it's more about playing more games
that means competitive games. So it's
when and when and why the league has not
started. So that's the main question
here. But apart from that the C
confederation cup task drawing against
Alad for the first leg. So they are
traveling. They want to see what they
can do in the second leg. Then of course
the same thing with Gmay. Gmma have been
beaten at home by by pyramids. Two goals
to zero. then traveling all the way to
Cairo, Egypt so that they can play in
the second second league. So next is the
second uh second leg so that I can see
what if they can qualify for the CF
Champions League. But apart from that
all hope and also all players on my task
but anyway let's switch a little bit
from football. Let's talk about rugby.
Of course there's the rugby tournament
that has been going on all the way from
Pris. We came to Dallas, we came to
Gabi. Now we came to Embu. We are
waiting for the Christy to start. But
now let's talk about MU7s and let's talk
more about KCB and the Cabraas rugby
teams that have been doing amazing in
this and these are tournaments. These
are the last tournaments each winning
22. So it's a more of a two two draw.
But now coming to the last is it two
draw two three I think now KCB is
leading with six points ahead of Cabas.
So there's that. So apart from now these
two teams there
is also making noise but not that much
to consum to to to give them a title but
we never know never know what will
happen. talking about KCB and rugby
where these two teams dominating that
much when it comes to division one rugby
>> I I I think KCB has really invested
>> in rugby and that's why if you look at
even um
>> if you look at most players that plays
for Kenya
>> most of them comes from KCB
>> and uh Cabras has also tried they have
always uh been there to bring in the
competitive element. So, uh I I can say
in rugby KCB is more of a a Bayern
Munich
>> in [laughter]
in this competition.
>> So, the they are likely to carry the day
if you if you check as far as the
investment they have put in place is
concerned. Mhm.
>> So it is just big up and uh and I have
several reasons to support KCB as as I
told you earlier that the seventh
>> captain which also plays for for for KCB
>> Edwin Onala
>> is my nephew and is named after my
grandfather
>> amazing.
>> So uh I have every reason to support
them. So I'm rooting for them
[clears throat]
>> to emerge as the champions. Mhm. And of
course the the key argument is when you
have the young players in your team, of
course you're going to dominate and also
you're going to win the game because
they bring the pace, they bring the
strength and also more about the skills
and also mostly about the the the pace
and the skills. But looking at the other
teams like Menangai Oilers who are very
underrated even Kenya Alquins yeah they
are probably underrated still but do you
think why don't comparing to what KCB
and Kabra offer why don't you think
these teams these other teams of they
don't make the such noises KCB and
Cabras
>> uh you know it is like they are
investing on on readym made players
>> but KCB if you look at uh at them I
think cabas is also doing the same
thing. Mhm.
>> There is a way they they grow players.
So like you may think that like this is
the nonplayer
>> but there is somebody who being groomed.
So there is somebody to take over and
and those are some of the things that
brings the element of consistency in the
team
>> while other teams like menitis when they
they're bringing in renowned players so
that they can compete. So that's gives
>> I think that's the main point but we
want to see the Christy maybe we see
something difference maybe can say
finally get a hold of the title but
right now it belongs either between KCB
and Capras because they are two one of
the two biggest teams when it comes to
rugby. Now apart from division one where
division two then we of course the
ladies side on the ladies side KBA
ladies finally been dethroned by Ali
Queen's queen that is Ali queens finally
because Kimal ladies have been
dominating for the longest time but now
we have new champion so we want to see
the for the Christy the Christy
tournament out will be now waiting for
the safari 7 so that can finish up the
old tournament and see who is the
overall winner of this that is the rugby
7 series now apart from that let's now
talk about let's go all the way to
Europe and moreo to England and talk
about the English Premier League and see
what really happened. Game of the week,
Chelsea versus Arsenal. I think um you
made a lot of noises because you are
interacting on on WhatsApp and yeah, a
little bit disappointed cuz you started
very well with Morgan Rogers getting the
ear goal at the second minute but
Arsenal manage to turn up. Why is it
that Chelsea have not won a game against
Arsenal for the last 5 years?
It is about a team preparedness and uh
and and I think um there were a lot of
factors favoring Arsenal in terms of
system and the way every every component
of the team
>> was working for them.
>> Chelsea Chelsea is in the process of
rebuilding a team. I just hope that they
will trust Alonso with the job for for a
period.
If you look at even the way they behaved
with the other coaches.
>> So if Alonzo is given time,
>> he will build a team that can dominate
in Europe because right now what he has
started by shaping, he has he has shaped
the attack
>> he has a lot of issues in the midfield
>> and also the defense. So there is a lot
of overhaul that needs to be done
because if you look at even the
midfield, he doesn't have the proper
midfielders
>> that he can rely on. That's why you find
he's fielding a lot of defenders in the
midfield.
>> Then also defense, he doesn't have
standout defenders that he can rely on
game in game out. He keeps on he has to
keep on shifting
>> the goalkeeping department. You remember
Martinez also came a bit late. Mhm.
>> So it means that it's also another
department that he will need to work on
so that he have
>> he can he can have a proper a proper
settle goalkeeping department.
>> So big up to Arsenal when when we
conceded an early goal that one was a
mistake because we are going for a clean
sheet.
>> We just knew that we are going to win.
Actually there is even a goal that was
ruled offside.
>> Yeah.
>> So plus all many other chances.
>> Mhm. Uh there was just uh evident that
there there was a goal coming you know
there is a match you can watch and you
just say that it's just a matter of time
>> goals are coming here and that's the
game you are
>> we enjoying do you think now Chelsea is
more dependent on defensive rather than
going for the attack cuz they so they
they decided to lay back against Arsenal
after scoring the first goal. Do you
think that costed them the match as
well?
No, the laying back means that they
didn't have the defenders that can can
stand out and push Arsenal. You remember
Chelsea had more than five defenders in
that pitch.
>> Yeah.
>> And some must to be pushed in the
midfield.
>> So it made them now to find a solution
because the only game Chelsea plays
right now they rely on the attack.
>> So once they tired it means that you
have to revert into other tactics. So if
they give you an early goals the better
for you to to find a way of closing the
game. But if they have been shielded off
now the coach has a very uphill task.
>> Mhm.
>> To see how to see off a game. But Alonzo
really tried because you remember that
game would have ended 22
>> because there was a shot by Estava
>> if it was not the qualities of run. That
one if you had ke in the goal that one
was just an automatic goal.
>> Maybe talk about the partnership between
um Cona and Gabrielle. I think we have
been talking about Saliva and Gabrielle.
But right now there's new guys in town,
new beast in town that is Kona and
Gabrielle playing the same type of
football can you say? Or is it the type
of aeta that a wants from?
>> No, Costa is just a quick learner.
That's what I love about him. you know
he came in and Gab has taught him how
the job is done in
in Arsenal
>> and I can see the way he was dealing
with [laughter]
with your strikers and even yesterday
the way he was dealing with with with
the Napoli the guy is good the guy is
good
>> can you say is the better partnership
between um as a national fan compared
with what Saliba offers and what has
been shown for the last two games do you
say do you say Gabrielle and Saliba or
Gabriel and Con
uh any any any any will work out but I
love the understanding of Gabrielle and
and Saliba
>> and the good thing that Cona can also
play right back so if aeta decides to
close the game he can bring Hin Capi
Gabriel Salib and Cona
>> and and and we'll be down at the back so
so you can see off a game with one nil
easily. Mhm.
>> Uh I I was I was thinking that at some
point at might be tempted to cash in on
either Saliba
>> Mhm.
>> or Cona. But one thing about them that
they are reliable in terms of they are
not injuryprone
>> but if Saliba issues continue if Real
Madrid decides to open the pass
>> Mhm.
[laughter]
>> Okay. Now Chelsea played against
Arsenal. They went to do that for the
London derby went to manager Aats
managed to get the equalizer after
Morgan Rogers started early off in the
second minute getting the goal managed
to to get the equalizer then captain
managed to get the win goal for Arsenal
to end it at two goals to one. Now
another game that was played Everton
versus Manchester United. We have talked
about Manchester United now sitting at
number 12 I get I believe with four
points so far the last three games that
they have played they managed to be
beaten by all city. Managed to win
against each now they managed to draw
against that is Everton. Not looking at
this Everton, we've been mostly
underrating the Everton team, but right
now it's looking a little bit scary
looking the likes of Barry, Tiano Barry
getting his form back, the likes of they
got Eric George from Chelsea, they got
KD that is KDH from Chelsea as well.
Then they have another bunch of good
players even then the the the wing
backs. Now talking about that is Everton
versus Manchester United. maybe what did
not work for Manchester United so that
they can even get the light late
>> you know you know Manchester United
apart from the attack
>> I think the defenders needs to just to
be serious
>> because u match Everton might be hard to
break teams like Aston Villa City
>> but you know Manchester the budge itself
like uh it is just like Arsenal or
Liverpool there there are games that you
are expected to to win by all means.
>> So they were leading two goals.
>> Mhm.
>> And then they concede two goals. So it
means that uh uh I think Manchester just
need a ruthless coach
>> that can send a number of those
defenders away and get proper proper
defenders because they were in the
market. They could have gotten somebody
like Concer to assist them at the back
and release some of those defenders. How
do you concede the goals at the at the
dying minutes? the second goal that was
scored by by Mlan Niles.
>> Mhm.
>> Uh if you look at that goal, you can't
blame the goalkeeper.
>> Yeah.
>> But you can blame the defenders
>> when to clear the ball
>> because those are the issues that
Arsenal had before Teta came in.
>> You know, as a defender, you are not
expected to turn your back or allow
opponent to shoot. So Niles was given a
total space
>> to get his shot
>> and he blasted it
>> and he did he did he did so well. So if
you if you get proper defenders like um
people like Sio Ramos they cannot allow
NS to to shoot to take such a shot. So
you give it a blame to defenders because
if you watch it clearly most defenders
they turn their back when the shot was
being taken no one was able to face the
the midfielder all of them turn their
back and as a deflector it is you to
face those those shots you you remember
what Gabrielle did there are some that
could even hit his face so as long as
that ball does it
>> it's all about the commitment right
>> yes so that's what those defenders lack
and most of them love themselves they're
not ready to push themselves for the
team. If you remember the partnership
between Rio Fedin and and um
>> VidC
>> and VidC
>> those people were ready to bleed for the
team but there is no defender that can
bleed for Manu as as far as this code is
concerned right now.
>> Mhm.
>> So they have a lot of work to do in
terms of reorganizing that defense.
>> What about the midfield? Midfield
convincing enough or they need maybe one
key player maybe one one anchor man? No,
midfield right now they have
good players because if you look at
Kobe,
>> he gets experience from Yuri Chelman and
Bruno is up there. So if they continue
playing as a as a unit
>> and also the coach to be consistent with
the with the attacks,
>> you know, one thing like you see is
benching your he wants the partnership
of Saka Kai and Zolis to work.
>> Mhm. So also Manchester needs to to
maintain that core
>> so that that understanding to be there
if like right nowaday
has scored how many goals around three
four goals
>> and three of them has come from Zolis.
>> So those are some of the things that the
partnership between Bruno
>> and maybe Cesco
>> needs to be built and Kuna
>> so they can play several games. I don't
see the harm of benching
Rashford and the likes
>> for you to build this partnership.
>> Mhm.
>> Because where they are today, they have
a small team.
>> Mhm.
>> But in that pool, they have Real Madrid.
So they have to prepare
an an attack that can face Aonat
>> or they must prepare a combination of
defenders that can hold Akinab. But if
he keeps on shifting bringing heaven
here and there
>> they will suffer
>> they will see a lot they will see bad
things apart from the man draw against
everton Liverpool played against they
managed to get their first win of the
season with Alexander Isak back at the
scoring ways then I think the
partnership between Gako and Isak is one
to talk about but just want to talk
about now this Liverpool this new
Liverpool not the club Liverpool that we
used to not the slot gave us two season
of Liverpool maybe talk about this new
new Liverpool. Does it convince you?
Maybe they can can they go all the way
for the title?
>> Uh Liverpool is playing a good football
and I can see Isach is back.
>> Gakpo is doing so well. Mhm.
>> And um I saw Ekkit is also is also
not that element of ruthlessness in
them.
>> They play nice football. I don't know
whether it is the issue of the you know
the Liverpool that had club.
>> Mhm.
>> You could see these people are playing
>> Mhm.
>> to to win something. Mhm.
>> So, uh that's what is lacking. But they
have a squad
>> that can compete in top four.
>> Mhm.
>> There. But I don't see them challenging
so much
>> to win a title. Like right now, if you
tell me we are going to meet with
Chelsea
>> or I might be a bit worried
>> because you can see Alonzo is aiming
towards something.
>> But if you tell me you are going to meet
Liverpool,
>> they're just there. It is like saying
that we are going to meet
>> like they're not there is not that
aggressiveness to compete to get a
title. But if you see Alonzo setting up
the team,
>> he wants to snatch something like either
Carabo just want to come out with
something.
>> If you see Arsenal and with the
>> you just see that this team
>> they want to add something to their
trophy cabinet.
>> That's what Liverpool is lacking.
>> Mhm. and we can see what will happen.
Now this weekend we have the Manchester
derby Manchester City against Manchester
United. Now talking we have talked about
Manchester United but let's talk about
Enzo Meska with this Manchester City.
They've been convincing for the last
games. Yeah, they have won them but have
they've been convincing that much.
>> If you want to know the team that
Manchester United likes beating is
Manchester City. I I I don't know even
the types of
how do you call it as a way of going
>> these big teams. I know the odds is with
Man City in terms of the way they have
restructured their midfield right now.
>> The Badi Enzo and
>> check
not even Elliot
>> and the understanding between Chucky and
Allan
>> is working for them. So people are
rooting for them
>> but don't rule Manchester United with a
fit the woman [laughter]
>> back in the scoring ways now predicting
the the the Manchester derby how do you
think we'll go which side blue or red?
>> Uh Manchester United may want to to to
retain the
>> the glory
>> the the [clears throat] bragging rights.
>> So uh everyone is going is going to go
with city.
>> Mhm. But you you remember the last game
with that midfield.
>> Yeah.
>> City won with one nil.
>> So Manchester United is likely to win
this
>> and they struggle against Coventry.
>> Yes.
>> So might get the advantage.
>> Manchester are likely to win this duty.
>> Mhm. Yes.
>> But see what will happen in the weekend.
Now apart from that, let's quickly look
at the the Champions League. Of course,
as Liverpool played against Atletico
Madrid. Liverpool beating Atletico
Madrid two goals to one. Then we had PSG
dash Sloan that is six goals to one.
Then we had Napoli against Arsenal. I
think you're very happy with the
outcome. Arena yet again being very good
at defensive. They managed to concede
only one goal finishing at 1 nil. Then
sporting against Galatasari. Galatasari
were trash three goals to one by
Sporting this ball. Then we have
Barcelona against back the win
Barcelona.
They are not winning the game. So it's
five goals to one for Barcelona. Yamal,
is he convincing for the Balandor maybe?
>> No, he's too young. He's is too young
for that Bondor.
>> You know, I saw they drafted in Messi
there. [laughter]
Maybe they want to give it Messi for the
very last time.
Uh the there is something in Champions
League that um in terms of ranking that
the teams that will end
position one and two
>> I think from quarterfinals all their
games they start at home.
>> Yeah.
>> And I think that's what has mastered. So
they want to
>> to to top it again according to the way
rules the way rules change. And
something else that also we we we
enjoyed is that now Arsenal has played
is it close to how many matches unbeaten
in Champions League.
>> You remember
>> this is your ninth match.
>> Yes.
>> From last season.
>> So they have started from where they
left
>> just again to talk that
>> nine month I think eight in the group
league four three in the knockout stage
three or six. So you have played a lot
of games you going unbeaten
>> and and has kept his 20th clean sheet in
Champions
>> that's really a start that I was not
looking at.
>> So um there is that. So if you look at
these teams the way they played um
Barcelona
>> they rush goals
>> so they score they are yet to meet with
proper teams then we'll see now if
Barcelona
>> can do it again at the big team
>> if Barcel is is is really what what we
think about
>> but I don't see major competition in
Champions League apart from Real Madrid
because uh even PSG is not that
convincing this
You remember they lost against
>> really?
>> Yes.
Then also
>> Monaco beat them.
>> Yes. Even Bayern is not that convincing.
So the teams that are a bit tricky
>> one is Real Madrid because Mourinho
knows how to find his way. Remember
Mourinho was unbeaten with Benfica and
he did not want [laughter]
>> win the league
>> the league
but but he was never beaten [laughter]
>> so visible
>> so so
>> visible without winning the league
>> so Mourinho Mourinho might be a hell on
this Champions League. So it is at the
initial stages
>> even Manchester can enjoy themselves
today
>> as they wait for now serious
>> serious team to come along.
Another game that will play Real Madrid
managed to play against in Milan winning
two goals to one then Man City against
FC Porto Man City winning two goals to
one two goals to zero getting the brace
then dom against Villa Real. DM getting
three goals to two then Astonia played
against club bridge getting three goals
to two against club bridge back I think
Jackson went on to score in that game
then today will be a that is bi against
then will be playing sabbaku then ko
will be playing leping so make sure you
watch those games then I'll be updating
you more on the champions league and
also in the of course waiting for the
Manchester derby we had the we had the
land derby just the other week. Now this
weekend we have Manchester dabby. So
