Video summary
The video discusses the recent social media backlash faced by WWE wrestler Liv Morgan, who has been criticized not for her in-ring performance or booking, but specifically because of her relationship status. It is revealed that she is engaged to a supporter of Donald Trump and the MAGA movement, which has caused many fans who previously admired her to turn against her. The host notes that while this kind of selective outrage is common on the internet, the specific reaction to Liv Morgan's engagement highlights a broader issue regarding hypocrisy in online discourse. Many critics claim to care deeply about moral values when judging individuals based on their personal lives, yet they fail to apply those same standards consistently across all aspects of their own behavior.
The core argument presented is that these critics are hypocrites because they continue to consume content from platforms and companies that actively support the very political figures they condemn. The host points out that WWE has long-standing ties to Donald Trump and the MAGA movement, meaning that by watching WWE programming or attending live events, fans are financially supporting an organization aligned with those ideologies. If someone claims Liv Morgan has lost her morals for dating a MAGA supporter, the host argues logically that they should also stop watching WWE entirely to maintain consistency in their moral stance. This contradiction exposes the double standard where people loudly judge others while ignoring the fact that their own consumption habits contradict their stated political or ethical positions.
Furthermore, the transcript extends this critique to social media platforms themselves, noting that sites like X (formerly Twitter) are owned by Elon Musk and effectively support Trump, making users on those platforms complicit in supporting the same agenda they claim to oppose. The host suggests that if individuals truly believed dating a MAGA supporter was morally unacceptable, they should also delete their accounts on these platforms rather than using them to voice their disapproval. The video concludes that most people do not actually care deeply enough about these issues to make significant lifestyle changes; instead, they simply want to watch wrestling and ignore the political implications until a specific segment airs. Ultimately, the message is that true moral conviction requires consistent action, and those who only post opinions without changing their habits are merely grandstanding rather than standing on genuine moral high ground.

What's good Joshua for Ross? Back at it
again with another video. So, we got to
talk about the recent backlash that Liv
Morgan has been getting for a while now.
I don't know if you guys have been
seeing it on social media, but she's
been getting some backlash not because
of, you know, her in-ring work or how
they've been booking her even though
they haven't been booking her the best
since she's won the title, but
they've people have been coming at her
or
voicing their opinions because of who
she dates or who she's engaged to or
potentially going to marry, her
relationship with someone. So,
apparently she's engaged or in a
relationship with someone that is a mega
supporter. People found out and now that
that is
uh the thing now, now that it's been out
in the open and she's dating someone,
people are upset.
People that once loved Liv Morgan have
now turned on her.
And I'm not surprised cuz it's the
internet. People going to do this all
the time. They pick and choose when they
want to support and when they don't. It
is what it is, but I did find this
interesting and at first I was thinking
about maybe making this the
um adding this to the stupidity in the
IWC series IWC series that I have, but I
was like, you know what? This may just
be a separate video on its own only
because
it's more or less I wouldn't call it
stupid. I would call it just um
misguided. There's a lot of um moral
high ground standing that goes on in
social media that a lot of people do.
They pretend to really care about
something, but they don't really apply
that that care that they have all the
way through. It's they pick and choose
when they want to have this these
morals. And there's this one particular
post that's been going pretty viral
right now. And I wanted to kind of share
this with you guys cuz I've seen similar
posts like this, but also at the same
time
they come off hypocritical. Let me
explain. So,
there's this account that made this post
right here.
It's crazy that this used to be the Liv
Morgan we knew back then. Now she's
doubling down by being engaged with a
guy who's a mega, homophobic, and
anti-abortionist. I may uh not be a Liv
fan, but I uh had respect for her
outside of wrestling. Now she lost her
morals and values now. And this is a a
post from 2022 where Liv was uh
supporting um the National Network uh
Abortion Funds, and then I think she was
also um supporting it in another post as
well.
So, look.
If you feel that way, cool. That's
understandable. That's That's your
opinion, right? Who she's dating and,
you know, you're you're not you're not
rocking with it. You don't respect her
because of who she's dating and who
their beliefs align with, right? Cool.
Cool. Cool. Cool.
And I've seen similar posts like this
where it's like, "Oh, she's dating
someone I don't agree with." Even though
this is her life, she's entitled to date
whoever she wants to date, just like
you're entitled to have your opinion on
that. So, I understand. But this is
where it gets a little tricky. And the
reason why I wanted to talk about this
cuz I see too many people on social
media that have this moral high ground,
but they don't really apply it like they
should.
Let me explain. So, when you go back to
his post, you're like, "All right. This
is a post that got a lot of traction,
over 471,000
uh views on this, right?
You scroll down.
Here's this post right here.
That man, Bronson, is lean and really in
good shape. All that hard work and
consistency in the gym really pays off.
Can't wait to see him back in WWE soon.
Now, you're probably wondering, what
does that have to do with Liv Morgan?
What They They don't These situations
don't coincide with each other. Well,
the reason why I bring this up is very
simple.
If you
feel that her morals
have been cast aside because she wants
to date whoever she wants to date, and
they support whatever they want to
support, right?
Then you should probably have that
across the board.
In fact, you probably shouldn't be
watching WWE
because WWE
supports Donald Trump and has been since
Vince was around.
This has been a very long time.
It is not even a secret that WWE is in
bed with MAGA. That's not even a secret.
Hell, TKO is. That's not even a secret.
So, if you feel that strongly
about Liv Morgan and her relationship
with someone that is a MAGA supporter,
I'mma be honest with you. You probably
shouldn't be watching WWE
because you become a hypocrite.
Doesn't matter if your favorite
wrestler's in the company, you shouldn't
watch it because they actively support
Trump,
right?
The shows that they you go to, the the
the live events, the the meet and
greets, don't go. Don't support. Don't
watch
because you're actively still supporting
a company that supports them,
right?
And this is coming from somebody I'm not
a MAGA supporter, never will be, never
want to.
And we're not going to get into this
political debate cuz there's some issues
on the left side, too. There's really
some issues with our government as a
whole. They're not really for the
people. But, that's a whole conversation
for another day.
But, even I know
the end of the day
when I turn on WWE television, I'm there
to see the stories and the wrestling. I
don't I'm I'm not there to dig deep into
people's personal lives cuz guess what?
I probably shouldn't even really be
knowing, nor do I probably want to know
from what people's personal opinions on
because we're different. I'm just here
to see what you do in that ring.
I mean, a lot of people felt a certain
way about Roman, but guess what? Y'all
still watched. Now, if you're one of
those individuals that said, "Nah, I'm
cool on WWE cuz of who they support,"
then that's good for you.
But,
I still got to bring up the question
if that's the case
then you probably still shouldn't be
supporting
the platform to voice your opinion. Like
this person here.
They're on X.
You're literally on a platform
that rocks with Trump. So, if we're
going to go off of Liv has lost her
morals, then technically you lost your
morals cuz you're actively using a
platform that supports Trump.
For all those people that with them blue
check marks, that be having any similar
posts like this that this guy posted,
you actively are supporting
Trump and the people that aligns with
him because you're on X
who is ran by Elon who ultimately rocks
with Trump.
You see how you can go down this this
slippery slope because people like to
sound like they have high morals, but in
actuality, you're a hypocrite. You are.
There's nothing wrong with voicing that
opinion, but to make that statement that
you've lost respect for her, well, then
you should lose respect for yourself cuz
you're still actively supporting brands
and and platforms that rock with people
you don't rock with. And I can say this
because guess what?
I still watch WWE.
I still get paid to watch WWE. I still
post on X. I may not agree with certain
things that are said or how they rock,
but guess what?
This is how I make my money.
So,
it is what it is and I don't try to look
too deep into that [ __ ] because
the end of the day, I'm just here to
watch some wrestling, bro.
I am. That's the main reason why I watch
it to get away from the craziness in the
world. Now, I'm not telling anybody not
to have your opinions. If you don't like
who she's dating, which I don't really
give that much of a damn to be honest
with you, cool. It is what it is.
But at the same time,
if you're going to have a very
opinionated and a very strong opinion
about that person, then maybe you should
start looking at yourself and be like,
well, I do watch the show.
And say for example, you want to watch
AEW. Nothing wrong with that. I'm not
sure where Tony Khan and his beliefs
lies in. Granted, I don't give a [ __ ]
honestly. But say you want to watch AEW
and they align more with the left, even
though there's issues with the left,
too, but that's neither here nor there.
If you don't agree with that,
but you [ __ ] on Tony Khan or whatever
wrestler who supports whoever they
support,
why still watch?
You want to know why you still watch?
Because it's not that serious to you.
It's not.
It may be as serious as you posting it
and then going on about your day. It's
not that serious. It's simple. I know
it's not that serious because you're
literally going to watch WWE or AEW,
whatever program. If it was really
serious, then you would make a point on
it. You would say, "Hey, I'm not
watching this no more. I'm not
supporting it. In fact, I'm not I'm
getting off this platform." Cool. All
right, cool. That's what you want to do.
Cool.
But you can't say, "Oh, this person has
lost their morals." when you were
literally still going to watch the show.
You're literally putting money into
WWE's pockets who actively are in bed
with Trump and MAGA.
So, my point here
is simple. To those who make posts like
this,
who have these very strong opinions
about people,
I will say this to you. If you're going
to go to that route,
if you feel that strongly, I think you
should probably delete your socials that
support
Trump and anything else involving them.
You should delete your social socials.
You should stop watching those shows,
WWE,
and then find something else.
You have the choice. But once again,
will you make that choice? Or does it
just sound good? It sounds, "Oh, man,
this this sounds really
really passionate. I want people to know
that I care
only as far as
to the next episode of Monday Night Raw.
But when Liv Morgan's segment come on,
I'm just going to ignore it."
When her segment come on, I'm I'm I'm
not going to watch it. But I'm going to
watch everything else.
That's on the show that supports
Trump and everything that he has going
on.
This is why I say a lot of y'all have
this moral high ground, but y'all really
don't stand on that. Y'all are
hypocrites. Y'all are. And it's so
infuriating. Well, not infuriating, it's
annoying to see because there's so many
people that grandstand on social media
like they're just this great individual
when actuality,
Y'all don't Y'all
Y'all stand as far as you make the post
and then that's it.
And you'll behind closed doors still be
watching said thing that you said you're
against.
Make it make sense. But hey, comment
down below. Let me know. Have you guys
been seeing Liv Morgan getting all of
this hate recently because of who she's
engaged with? How do you guys feel about
that? Let me know down below. Appreciate
all the love and support you guys show
on our channel. Road to 200k. Appreciate
y'all kicking it with me. See y'all next
one. Peace.
