Video summary
The creator embarks on an extensive closet cleanout aimed at building a high-quality capsule wardrobe that aligns with her current body and style at age 26. Starting in a room described as a "disaster" due to overflowing clothes, a lack of hangers, and cluttered floors, she systematically removes every item from her workout tops, sweaters, dresses, skirts, and pants sections. She evaluates each piece based on fit, quality, frequency of wear, and whether it reflects an outdated version of herself, ultimately deciding to keep only staples that make her feel good. Many items are discarded for being ill-fitting, worn out, or rarely used, while others are donated or returned, with specific piles created for tailoring needs such as hemming several pants and skirts that will be addressed later.
Throughout the process, which spans two days, she tries on numerous items to assess fit, particularly in preparation for her upcoming bridal era and fall wardrobe. On day one, she purges approximately 50% of her clothes, significantly reducing clutter and gaining relief, while day two involves continuing to sort through skirts and pants after receiving new clasp hangers via overnight delivery. She keeps only a few pairs of jeans and sweatpants that fit well or have potential with alterations, planning to purchase specific staple jeans in person, and also reorganizes her storage for bags to finalize the closet organization before an upcoming movie outing.
The cleanout concludes with a review of jackets, where she decides to keep favorites like a black leather jacket from Garage, an investment piece from Oaken, and two trench coats, while donating or swapping out duplicates and unworn items. She plans to have a thrifted H&M trench tailored if the cost is reasonable, and after removing five jackets, she moves to drawers containing underwear, socks, pajamas, shorts, skirts, and bikinis. Facing a cluttered room entrance, she sorts the remaining items into bags for selling high-value pieces, donating lower-value items to her sister and friends, and discarding the rest to maintain a clean space.
In total, she removes 40–50% of her wardrobe, resulting in a condensed, high-quality capsule collection that allows her to maintain a clean space and wear only essential items. She prioritizes essential wearables over others by visiting Lululemon to get several pants hemmed for free, ensuring that every remaining piece serves a purpose in her life. By the end of this transformative process, she has successfully transitioned from a chaotic environment filled with outdated clothing to an organized closet reflecting her current self, ready to embrace her upcoming bridal era and future style needs without the burden of excess.

Welcome to the most mega closet cleanout
you're going to see of 2026. I am so
done with my current state of my closet.
I can never find anything to wear. I
have way too many clothes that don't fit
me right, that I don't wear, that are
just stagnant, that reflect old versions
of myself, and I just need to do a
thorough closet cleanout. I did one of
these back in 2025 in January, and it
was the best thing that I ever did for
myself. Truly life-changing. I don't
wear 80% of my closet, which is actually
insane to admit, but I always gravitate
towards the same pieces and I really
want to focus in on keeping my
highquality basics that I reach for time
and time again, things that fit me
right, emphasis on that because if it
doesn't fit me right and it's poor
quality, I am not ever going to wear it.
Because being 26 years old now, I feel
like I really just need to bunker down,
create a good capsule wardrobe, and lock
in on my style and what I like for my
body. I am doing the closet cleanout
style where I'm going to take out
absolutely everything from my closet and
reput things in that make me feel good
that the dream version of myself will
wear. I feel like I just have so many
pieces that I don't necessarily not
like, but they just reflect a past
version of myself that I don't want to
bring in with me into the future. So
like I even want to get rid of those
types of pieces that like I just don't
associate with anymore. So today we are
locking in. This might take a couple
days. It is currently a Saturday today
so I have all day to do this. My closet
room, like my office and my closet room
is an absolute disgusting disaster. I
have no more room in my closet right now
to put anything away. I am out of
hangers. I am out of storage space and
my laundry bin is full. My floor is
full. I am in the mood of let's just get
rid of everything at this point. I'm
going to be totally candid and honest
with you guys with the before state of
this room. We listen and we don't judge.
Let's just keep repeating that mantra
through this video. Don't want any judgy
comments down below. Beu literally in
the corner. She's like, "Mom, you better
clean this right now. I'm stressed out."
Yeah, me too, girl. Let's see the floor.
Can't see the floor. I mean, no floor to
be seen. I went on so many trips this
summer. Still have like my bags out. You
guys know I think my closet's set up by
now. I have this back here for all of my
jackets, jeans, and like random stuff.
And then I also have a closet to my
right. Here is the main closet of this
room. That's the state of it right now.
Also, I have been running out of
hangers. You could see how tight this
space is here. And also here. Like, I've
run out of hangers. I also have a bunch
of clothes sitting in this bin right
here. I have clothes in this bin right
here. And I also have a stack of clothes
up there. Like, why do I have a trillion
million jillion things right now? I
don't even know where I'm going to
start. This is honestly overwhelming me
just looking at it right now. I've also
banned myself from buying anything new
until I get this closet cleaned out and
then I can really lock in on the exact
pieces that I actually need to build my
capsule wardrobe after I like look
through everything. That's why I'm so
excited to do this. I think I'm actually
going to start by doing a load of
laundry because I have a hamper full of
stuff that we need to also look through.
She's full to brim
So, I actually think that I'm going to
start right here with my workout tops,
workout tanks. These are like the pieces
that I gravitate the most towards my
everyday pieces like for working out. I
do feel like I don't wear like 50% of
what's here. Anyways, so I'm literally
going to take every single piece off of
its hanger and then we are going to
reassess like that and put them back cuz
I feel like if I just like look through
it like this, it doesn't encourage me to
get rid of the piece as much. So, let's
clear this out and start fresh.
Even this just feels so much better. I
even took off all the hangers so we
could see how much pieces we're actually
putting back. I'm scared, but I'm
excited. So, let's just start. We're
going to play a little game of yes or
no. I'm excited for this. First off, I
have my little tie wrap tops. They are
very much bad quality. I got these off
Sheen like years ago. They're just very
sheer, not good quality. They're just
peeling a lot. I'm going to donate
these. Keeping this. Go over workout
set. Stunning. Definitely keeping this
one. It's a great quality butter basic.
This is an Aritzia butter long sleeve,
but I just never wear it because it is
cropped and I just don't wear cropped
things anymore. I have not reached for
it in a couple years, so I'm going to be
giving this away. This is like a long
sleeve kind of quarter zip. Perfect for
working out. I love this. Such a good
throw over activewear. Keep this.
Obviously keeping my Define jacket.
This is like one of my favorite tops
I've purchased. It's from Aritzia
Butterline. Love it. I wear it all the
time in the winter. It actually needs to
be washed though. I see a little
stainage on it here. So, I'm going to
throw this in the wash and then I will
rehang it later. I recently got this
from H&M Activewear. They actually have
such good activewear. It's kind of tea.
I love it. So, I'm keeping this one.
Going to get rid of this long sleeve. I
just don't reach for it and I don't need
it. Frankly, I just don't need it. I
have two of these Lululemon tops to be
honest. They're size two and they are a
little bit tight on me. So, I'm going to
just try them on quickly right now off
camera and see if I want to keep them.
So, I am getting rid of them. On the
other hand, I have these two Llemon
tanks which I really like. So, I'm going
to be keeping these. I just noticed this
also is dirty down here. What is going
on? I'm going to run this through the
wash as well. Going to get rid of this
brown TNA tank. Going to get rid of this
Sunday vest or Aritzia white long
sleeve. It has a hole right here. And as
you can see, it's like completely
ripped. And it does have like a stain
that has not been able to come out. This
is an open back shirt from Sheen. I
don't even think it is mine. I think I
borrowed it from my sister like years
ago. So, this will be returning to her.
Love this. It's just from Garage. As
much as I used to like the Aritzia
seamless tops, they are just too cropped
on my torso. Going to be throwing this
out. Going to be getting rid of this
white tea. It is like ripping. It has
holes. I had to like sew it. And I feel
like at this point I can replenish a
basic white everyday tea. This one was
good quality, but I've just had it for
like 5 years now. So, I've run it down
to the ground. Especially with white
pieces. You need to replenish those more
often because white gets so discolored.
And I've tried like bleaching my pieces
before and stuff and it just does not
the same as like buying a new crisp
white shirt. So, this one is getting
thrown out. Sorry, I don't want to say
thrown out. I mean donated or I'm going
to sell some pieces to make some money
back. Mostly everything other than that
is going to be going to my sister cuz
she will appreciate it and then donate
everything else she doesn't want. This
is just a plain basic gray boat neck.
We'll be keeping this from Garage. I
think I bought it last year. Keeping
this plain gray t-shirt. I recently
actually just got this from White Fox
and it's super cute. So, definitely
keeping this. I have not even worn it
yet. So, this is brand new. I'm going to
be throwing out this long sleeve from
Garage. Not because I don't like it, but
I just don't like this color on myself.
I don't think it's like in my color
palette whatsoever. Love this pink
butter top from Aritzia. I've held on to
this tube top for so long cuz it is
Aritzia and I did buy it a few years
ago, but it is so uncomfortable. I think
I ordered it online and then just never
returned it. I always end up putting
this on and then taking it off, like
ripping it off because I hate it. Long
sleeve boat neck top, literally the
exact same one as this one, but in
black. So, I'm going to keep it. Getting
rid of this long sleeve that has like an
open back. It is just bad quality and I
never reach for it. So, going to get rid
of that. I'm getting rid of this white
tube top. I have worn this thing into
the ground. I've had it for like six,
seven years now. I got it off Sheen back
in the day since I'm always in a tube
top in the summer. I can buy myself a
beautiful new basic tube top and finally
throw this one out. The iconic butter
tank. Definitely keeping this. This pink
top, I cannot decide. It is from Garage.
It is like really honestly stretchy,
good quality, but it is a bit tight on
me. I'm going to try this one on
reassess. I just tried on these tops and
these are all a no. I'm getting rid of
the pink one. This color is just not it
on me. This tank, this shirt is from
Brandy. It's like my absolute favorite
thing. It's like a sheer cover up off
the shoulder. These are the type of
basics that I reach for time and time
and time and time and time and time
again. Few months ago, got these two
shirts from Garage. Just this gray one.
I'm pretty sure I got them for like $10
each. They were on sale. And this white
one. and I have been wearing them
constantly. They're just such good
staples when I don't know what to wear.
Alter from Aritzia. I wore this like
every single day of this summer. Also
got this tank this year from Garage.
Love it for working out. So cute. This
tank I got from Aritzia. I have been
wearing it constantly. But what I think
I'm actually going to do since we are
going into fall now is I'm going to look
through this bin cuz this bin has a
bunch of random summer clothes in it.
I'm going to go through that and I'm
going to make this bin like my summer
tank tops that I don't wear year round.
I am not wearing this in the fall or the
winter. So, I'm going to stash this away
so it's not taking up space here. I love
this tank top so much. I got it from
Zara this year. This is another tank top
where it's a fun summer tank top. This
is another one where it's going in the
bin. Another tank top for the bin.
Another one going in the bin. Got these
all um at the beginning of the summer.
Another bin one going away. Another one.
This one too. I've actually had this
tank now for 2 years and I always wear
it so often in the summer. I am going to
be donating this shirt. Going to be
keeping this. It's just like a scoop
neck short sleeve butter tank. Another
summer tank for the VIN. This is my
Aritzia zip up. Similar to the lemon
define jacket. Also getting rid of this
white box tea. Similar to the white one.
Just have had it for too long. Ran it
into the ground. Need a new basic black
tea. Reaching for this bin now so I can
look through it and then put away the
tank tops that I want to put away. Oh
god.
Oh my goodness. Look at how much better
this looks. Look at all of these
hangers. Insane. Granted, I still do
have some things in the wash that I'm
going to be putting here, but not much.
This is insane. I got rid of so much.
Back to the basics with all of my top
choices. I just went to go grab this top
from the laundry. But wow, this feels so
much better. And there's actually space
here now. And look at all these hangers
I have. Feel like I'm on a roll here
with this closet. So now, let's do all
of this, all my sweaters. And then over
here, I just have it goes into like
dresses and stuff. So, let's look
through all of this now.
This is everything I just took down from
these hangers. I just kept my robe cuz
didn't feel like unhanging that.
Obviously going to keep my robe. But
let's fully go through everything. I'm
just going to probably do a time lapse
for this just because I don't want to
bore you guys. So, I'm going to slowly
pick and choose what I want to keep.
Rehang. I feel like I really need to be
diligent with this because I actually
had no space here. And then I also need
to take that down and look through those
as well. But yeah, I need to be way more
diligent with these here because I need
more space.
The amount of stuff that I just purged
is insane. But I just took down the pile
of clothes that was up there. So, let's
go through that together. This is a
definite yes keep Old Navy sweater which
is so cute. I love this turtleneck. She
is so cute. Don't really like the fit of
this one. It's another one of those
cropped sweaters that I just will never
wear. Going to get rid of this. I
thrifted this like years ago. Wore a
couple times. Haven't touched it since.
I just don't like that color on me. I am
going to give this away. It's done its
time. Love this knit sweater. Actually
thrifted it. This is a great basic for
the fall and winter. Just a nice sheer
kind of turtleneck. Going to donate this
one. This is a great staple. I bought
this last year for fall. Such a great
staple. Love it.
I think I'm definitely going to give
this one away. It is like basically
brand new, but I just have not been
gravitating towards it. So, going to
purge her. Plain black basic turtleneck,
which is a good basic. Here is a pile
update. Doesn't even look that big on
camera, but in person it's actually
huge. There's a bunch of little things
like in between here, but wow, I'm so
proud of myself. We're not even like
halfway done yet, and I already have
this big of a pile. You know those TV
and movie stereotypes where the
character is super organized and they
joke about being so OCD because their
closet is color organized or something
like that. Well, knowing somebody very
very close to me who actually does have
OCD, I can tell you that that is not
what actual OCD is like at all. For
starters, OCD isn't a joke. It's serious
and can show up in ways that most people
would never expect. Like replaying a
conversation in your head over and over
trying to figure out if you accidentally
said something hurtful or going back
through a memory again and again because
you feel like you need to be absolutely
sure about what happened or suddenly
getting flooded with doubt about your
relationship or relationships and
feeling totally unable to let it go no
matter how much you tried to reason your
way out of it. A lot of people might
chalk that up to being just an overinker
or to being overly anxious. But if that
kind of thought spiral causes you a lot
of distress and makes you feel like you
need to do something in order to try to
feel better, it can actually be a
symptom of OCD. OCD can focus on
anything that matters to you. And a lot
of its symptoms can happen entirely in
your head like really intense fears,
distressing unwanted thoughts, and
doubts you cannot shake no matter how
hard you try. It can be very
debilitating and I have seen that
personally firsthand. But it is actually
highly treatable with the right kind of
therapy and that is why I want to tell
you guys about NOCD. NOCD is the world's
leading provider of OCD treatment. Every
single one of their licensed therapists
specializes in OCD. And no matter how
OCD shows up for you, they know how to
help. OCD responds best to a specialized
therapy called exposure and response
prevention or ERP, not standard talk
therapy, which actually isn't
recommended and can make OCD worse. And
at NOCD, every therapist completes
extensive training in ERP therapy. They
work with you in virtual sessions and
it's covered by insurance for over 138
million Americans. You will have support
in between sessions, too. So, you can DM
your therapist, join dozens of live
support groups, and use therapy tools in
the NOCD app whenever you need support.
So, if anything described sounds
familiar, head over to nocd.com.
Link will be in my description. To learn
more about how NOCD can help, I love you
guys and mental health is so important.
This is where all of my basically just
dresses and skirts are. We're going to
do the method where Let me just get them
all off the hangers first. All these
hangers is actually insane.
So, this one was in the very back. I
think a lot of these are actually going
to need a try on moment. So, I'm going
to put this one to try. This one is like
a just a very staple long silk black
dress.
And then I have this one from White Box.
one of those with all those ties in the
front. I love this dress. I wore it so
much when we were in Hawaii last year.
Super comfy. This dress I got from Sheen
literally like 8 years ago. So, this is
going to go bye-bye. This dress, it's
done its time. I've worn this so much in
the past that I definitely would not
reach for this again. So, I'm going to
get rid of that one. Also, I'm going to
get rid of this dress. I wore to a
wedding and a couple different things
already. Feel like it's just done its
time. Someone else can wear it now. I
have actually never worn this one. is
from White Box, but I'm waiting for the
opportunity to wear it. This dress is
actually so gorgeous. I just have never
had the opportunity to wear it yet. So,
I'm going to put it back. This dress I
wore so much in like 2023 era. You know,
when you just wear something too much,
you just know you're not going to wear
it again. That's the vibe with this one.
So, I'm going to donate. I have no use
for this dress. It is way too short. I'm
going to be donating this one. This
dress was like one of my favorites when
we were in Hawaii. It is so comfortable.
It's so stretchy. I actually love it.
Going to keep this one. This is a black
skirt that I pretty sure this is from
Sheen. Really bad quality. Got it like
literally 8 years ago. So, say bye to
that. This dress is kind of like a ski
dupe. So, I'm going to keep this. I feel
like now I'm actually like getting a
good sense of what I have. It's very
easy to forget. This dress my sister
wore to a wedding we went to recently.
This doesn't fit me perfectly. It's a
little bit big. So, I'm going to get rid
of it. This dress I wore down in Mexico
when I went in 2022. I'm going to get
rid of it. This dress, never gravitate
towards it. Just not my style anymore.
This dress literally is so 2021.
Stonation. I recently actually got this
dress on Quint. I have not worn it yet,
but it is beautiful. It's a nice silk
dress. A good staple to have. Honestly,
would be a very good wedding dress to
wear to a wedding. I need to try this
one on. This one is such a staple dress
for me. So good. I love this dress and
it's so comfortable. This dress is also
so beautiful silk dress from Quint. It
is now 5:48 p.m. I just had dinner. I
was starving and I also picked up a diet
Pepsi because I just needed a pickme up.
I am getting so tired already. And I
also tried on a few dresses. So now I
kind of have a better idea of what I'm
keeping here. I'm going to hang this one
cuz I'm keeping this one. This dress,
unfortunately, is so cute, but it just
doesn't zip around my torso. It does not
connect. It looks like it would fit, but
it doesn't. It is so tight. Getting rid
of that. This dress is beautiful. I
actually wore this dress to my
engagement party last year. I also got
to keep all of my white dresses for my
upcoming bridal era, which is so
exciting. This dress is more creamy.
It's from Revolve, and it's just
perfect. Whether I wear this like during
my bridal era or just for an occasion,
it's so elegant and beautiful. I'm going
to get rid of this jean denim dress.
This is like a romper situation. So cute
and I'm going to keep it.
This dress is so cute. Definitely a
keep. This dress is super cute, but
definitely I associate it with a
vacation. I wore this in Hawaii. It was
so pretty.
Love this dress. This dress is so
gorgeous. Definitely have to wear this
for one of my bridal occasions. I think
it needs a little bit of tailoring on me
just to fit me perfect, but when the
time comes, I can get it tailored
stunning. I'm going to get rid of this
dress. Does not fit me nicely. This is
definitely a vacation number, like a
swimsuit cover up. I love this dress. I
wore it in Hawaii a lot. Still love it
down to this day. This is the dress that
I got engaged in last year. It's a
perfect little summer dress, though.
This is such a good bridal era dress.
It's like a high neck with an open back.
It is just so simple but so pretty. I
have not had an occasion to wear this
dress yet, but I definitely want to keep
it in the closet roster. She is so cute
for like a little girls night out dress.
I feel like that would be the perfect
occasion to wear something like that.
This is a really pretty skirt and top
set. I tried this dress on and I like it
a lot better. Now I remember how it
actually fits and I will find somewhere
to wear this to eventually. I feel like
it'd be a good girls night out dress as
well. This is a long skirt and top I
just tried on. Really like it. Keeping
this one. Definitely keeping this one.
This is definitely perfect for a
wedding. I actually have my cousin's
wedding next month. So maybe I will wear
this. Actually, this is such an adorable
cute orange little dress. Love this
white one. I do need an occasion to wear
this too. This is genuinely the perfect
LRB little red dress.
have this really stunning black lace
one. Very similar to the other one I
have, but this one is shorter. Now,
we're kind of on to skirts. I really
love this skirt, but it is so long. I
either need to hem it cuz I don't wear
it. So, I'm actually going to just take
all my skirts right now and I'm going to
try them on. I forgot about this dress.
Hold on. I need to show you guys cuz
it's actually gorgeous. So, I already
know that I want this dress to literally
be a dress that I wear on my honeymoon
after we get married. It's just actually
gorgeous. I'm saving it for that. This
is the current state of the floor. Look
how many hangers I've recuperated, you
guys. This is absolutely insane. I still
have to look through those skirts, but I
do want to get more of these clasp
hangers beforehands. So, I'm going to
either order some or get some tomorrow.
I hate putting skirts on hangers. Like,
I actually want to display them
properly. So, to be determined on the
skirts, but this is how the state of the
closet is looking right now. So much
less cramped. What I'm going to do right
now is all of my like tote bags and
stuff are in this bin. Now that I have
so much more room up here, cuz I took
away the sweaters, I'm like, why not
display like my tote bags and purses up
here so that I can just grab them and go
instead of having to like shuffle
through the bag. So, I'm going to kind
of like redo up here in the meantime
right now.
It's officially the end of the day. This
is where we're at. Okay. I kind of put
everything that I want to get rid of in
the living room just to make it easier
so I can differentiate the piles that
I'm creating. So, I'm dragging this out
into my apartment now. What's new? But
anyway, so this is how we're ending the
day off today. These are the pieces that
I put outside for most likely everything
is going to be no. I am going to relax
now, enjoy my Saturday evening, and
we're going to get back to this
tomorrow. And fingers crossed we can
finish everything tomorrow cuz I feel
like I mostly finished the closet. So
now I can do like my IKEA packs
wardrobe. Ending off today. Very happy
of our progress. We will be definitely
picking this back up tomorrow. So see
you guys tomorrow. Welcome to day two of
the closet cleanout. I ordered hangers
off Amazon yesterday and they already
came in. It was literally like overnight
delivery, which is perfect because now
we could complete the closet, sort
through my skirts, hang my skirts, and
then I have like those clippy hangers,
which is perfect. It was like a pack of
20 35. I think it was a pack of 30 of
them for $35. So, honestly, not bad.
Now, that just solves my problem. So, we
can actually complete the closet cuz
I've never had enough of those clippy
hangers anyway. So, I'm like, "Oh my
god, just buy them." And then now I can
actually sort through my closet properly
now. So, let's unbox this package. just
came in. The immense relief that I felt
just sleeping tonight because I knew
that my closet was getting done and
things are a lot more clean is insane.
Like I just felt so much relief sleeping
last night. Like I had a great sleep and
I'm just like so excited to finish it
today. Perfect. This is exactly what we
needed. Can never have enough of these.
I swear because I hate compromising and
like folding things on hangers cuz I
don't know. I just like it to be as
bestly organized. So I'm finally buying
more of these. And now I have so many
hangers because of how many clothes I
got rid of. Now that we got the hangers,
I have a lot more in here, but I'll just
like unbox them once I need them. Is
this 30? Yeah, pack of 30. Okay,
perfect. So, let's go do the skirts.
Continue our closet. I really hope that
I can finish it today. Like, that is the
goal is to be able to finish the closet
today. We are going to go see a movie
tonight at 7:00 and we have to probably
leave the house at around 6:00. So,
taking that into consideration, right
now it's about 1:00 because I just had a
really slow morning. Like, I wasn't
really down to just like wake up on a
Sunday morning and clean my closet. So,
took my time in the morning. I got
ready. So, that gives us about 5 hours
to complete this. Let me know if you
think I could do it. Let's get sorting
through my closet. Do you want to help
me today? Hi, baby. Do you want to help
me today? What should mommy wear? I'm
not even kidding you when I say these
are how many hangers I'm accumulating.
This is actually absurd. And then now we
got more, but these are different. So,
let's get sorted. I am also trying my
best to stay more hydrated today. So, I
have my water bottle here cuz last night
I got a headache. I realize I've been
getting headaches if I don't drink
enough water throughout the day cuz
yesterday I had a coffee in the morning
and then I literally had a diet. Pepsi
coffee is so dehydrating. So, I'm like,
"Oh, I wonder why I have a headache."
So, we're making sure to drink water
today. Okay, I think the caffeine's
kicking in cuz I'm really excited right
now. I love this skirt. It's such a good
skirts from Revolve. I love like a midi
skirt. I think I'm going to hang my
skirts right here cuz these are all my
dresses and then skirts right here and
then my knits to sweaters. Beautiful
cheetah skirt. I love it. It is such a
gorgeous like stipple skirt. I got my
use out of this skirt this summer. I'm
pretty sure I bought this in my summer
shopping video. I am going to do a fall
mall shopping video this year. Such a
great sample. This skirt I just recently
got from White Box this year. I have not
got an opportunity to wear it, but it is
so gorgeous. This would be perfect like
over a bikini cuz it's like completely
sheer. Next is this beautiful skirt.
Again, a vacation skirt. This one is
from Revolve. Gorge. This is a skirt
set. It's a nice long black skirt. So,
I'm going to hang this with the dresses.
Perfect. I actually got this skirt from
Brandy this summer. These are just so
nice to have in the summer. I've
actually worn this white skirt so much.
So, I'm just debating if I want to keep
it. Okay, I think I'm going to keep it
and then I can always get rid of it next
summer if I don't wear it. This dress I
actually really love. A little bit like
stained up here in the corner. So, I'm
going to try to get that off. See if we
can revive it a little bit. That's the
wash. Okay, that is all of my skirts.
Now I'm kind of going to move on to my
IKEA packs wardrobe. This is great
progress. Okay, moving on. Finally, I
feel like I haven't been my closet for
so long. These are all my going out
pieces. Oh, wait. We have an extra skirt
in here that I need to hang out. So,
I'll do that in a sec. This is actually
brand new from Aritzia that I got in my
summer video. But anyways, so yeah, this
is all like my going out stuff, I would
say. All my going out outfits, skirts,
tops, stuff like that. I'm going to take
everything down. I honestly haven't
looked through this in so long. Let's
take this all down and judge it up.
Okay, she is fully done, cleaned out.
Now I'm going to go piece by piece and
then obviously choose if I want to keep
it or not. This top going to get rid of
her. This top I thrifted. I've had this
for like 3 years now. Going to get rid
of it. Exact same case scenario with
this one and this one. This is a really
good staple mock neck. I actually just
bought this. This would be such a good
basic for the fall, too. So, definitely
keeping this. It's brand new. I'm going
to keep it. Going to donate this. This
bodysuit I've literally had for so long
now. I'm going to retire her. I've also
had this one for years. I'm pretty sure
since like literally 2021 or 2020. I've
had this for so long. It's time to
retire it. I thrifted this top a long
time ago. She's kind of diva. It is kind
of slight, but I just don't wear it. So,
actually, maybe I'll try it on. Okay,
this is like a tube top and pants set.
The new donate it just cuz I don't don't
wear it. Same with this one. I just
don't wear it. Why would I keep it? This
mini skirt I've had for years now, but I
am retiring it cuz I have another black
mini skirt that fits me way better. So,
donate. This is actually a beautiful
set. Has like a really beautiful rose on
it. Mini skirt that it comes with. I
feel like this is those types of pieces
that it's just going to sit in my closet
until I have like an occasion to wear
it. So, I'm still going to keep it. Same
thing with this one. It's giving
Christmas. It's just a top and a skirt
set that I do really like. I did wear it
last Christmas. Maybe I'll bust it out
this holiday season again cuz it is
really cute. I have this polka dot
jumper thing that I'm definitely never
going to wear. So, that's going to
donate. Getting rid of this. I just
don't wear it. I actually recently
thrifted this cheetah top. I just
haven't had an opportunity to wear it
out yet. As much as I want to love these
shorts, they just don't fit. They are
way too small and therefore I will never
wear them. This skirt, as much as I want
to love it, it is a little bit big on
me. It's not a good fit. This top I've
worn a handful of times. I'll try this
one on, too. This top has seen its days
with me. I think every time I look at
it, I just associate with the past
version of myself. So, I'm going to
donate that. This is a lace top from
Aritzia. And I bought this a couple
years ago now, and I still wear it to
this day. So, I do really like this top.
This is kind of just like a nice staple
white top.
I have this jean set with like that and
then the matching skirt, but I feel like
I've had this now for like 2 years and I
have not worn it. So, good and donated.
I thrifted this top a couple years ago
and I never gravitate towards it
anymore. This top as well. This top as
well. I actually wore this to the
Sabrina Carpenter concert 2 years ago
now. Almost coming up on two years ago,
was it? That's crazy. I'm going to
donate that. Going to get rid of this
top as well. This top as well. I
actually just thrifted this sparkly top
I think when I was thrifting for the
summer. I haven't had a chance to wear
it yet, but I'm waiting for a chance.
These Aritzia long, what are they? The
Aritzia capret shorts. I know they're
not jeans. What are these called? You
get the vibe. I bought them at the
beginning of the summer. Whenever my
next girls night is, I will be pulling
these out like with a little kitten
heel. Love the vibe of these. Going to
donate this romper. It's just like a
black romper with like a polka dot
scarf. I've had this now for a while and
just have not worn it. So, I read this
tip and it was like if you have not worn
a piece of clothing for like a year, you
are not going to wear it. So, anything
you haven't worn for a year, good rule
of thumb is to just say no. That is so
pretty. I need to keep this top cuz I do
really like it. On second thought, I
think I'm actually going to get rid of
this. I've had it for so long. It
reminds me of a past version. So,
chucking it out, looking at it in the
mirror, it is a really nice top. Now, I
feel like I kind of have to keep it cuz
like this is kind of a nice staple. This
top I actually recently thrifted and I
love it. It was like originally like
yellow with stains when I got it and
then I drenched it in OxyClean and she
is crispy white. This set I've only worn
I think once, but I do really like it.
It's like very businessy. Cute.
This set I've actually worn a handful of
times. I'm going to retire it. This is a
new skirt I actually got this year. So
cute. This set is super cute. I've just
worn it too many times in the past era,
so I'm throwing it out. This is just a
really basic cute button up collar puff
sleeve. That is a good thing to have in
my closet. I definitely need to try this
one on. I don't even know what this is
going to look like. This is actually one
of my favorite black top elevated black
tops ever. I have worn this so many
times. It's such a slight top. As much
as I want these mini shorts to work for
me, they are just too small. I will be
donating those.
This is a white minikrt that I got from
Aritzia 2021. I've had this mini skirt
for so long and I feel like it's time to
retire it. Oh, this is actually a great
basic top. I'm gonna keep it.
I recently got these actually these
capries. I love this leather jacket just
to wear like as a top. Like this is a
moment in itself with like a pair of
jeans. This is a vacation skirt through
and through. So, I'm actually going to
put this with my bikinis because it has
no business in being in this going out
closet. Recently got these this year.
Actually have not had a chance to wear
them yet. Definitely keeping these.
Getting rid of this top. Getting rid of
this set. I just don't like the material
on it. I have a few sets now that I'm
just going to try on. So, let's go take
the camera. Let's go try on a few things
and then we can make our decisions cuz I
have some pants. She's like, "Mom, what
are you doing? You are crazy." Do you
agree with that? Do you think I'm crazy?
She's like, "What is all this clothes,
Mom? Like, I just wear my fur everyday
and I'm good to go and I'm just so
pretty." The fact that she just chooses
this spot like right in the midst of the
chaos is is actually sending me. She
kind of blends in. Like if I were to
just do a pan like that, you would
hardly notice that she's even there.
Pants number one that I'm trying on,
guys, these are actually slay. These are
so long on me that I never wear them.
They cover my feet. I'm 5' 3", so I'm
short, but like still like look at how
long these are. So I feel like if I were
to take these into the tailor, I would
actually wear them because other than
that, they fit me amazingly. Like it's
literally just the length on these pants
that need tailoring. I'm going to put my
clothes in a bag that need tailoring and
I am going to hold myself accountable.
I'm going to take every clothes that
need tailoring to the tailor this week
and you guys are going to hold me
accountable cuz I'm going to do it for
the video, okay? And I think these could
be like a staple in my wardrobe once
they're fixed. I am actually obsessed
with these, but again, they need a men's
tailoring. These are so cute. Fit me
perfectly. Like no gap in the back, but
I'm going to put this in the tailoring
pile and we'll bring these in. But I
actually love these. They're so cute.
They're so different. Perfect for like a
fun night out. I got this one from
Revolve. Obviously, I get my Revolve
clothing for free because we do a
collab. Putting this on now, I'm like,
"Okay, I was debating throwing this out,
but now I'm like, "Okay, I have to keep
it." Cuz I do really like this. It would
be perfect for like a cutesy brand
event, an occasion like that. Yes. I
have not worn it yet and I've had it for
over a year, but I feel like when the
time comes, like I still really like it.
It fits me nice. I will wear it one day.
So, I am going to keep this. And I love
the brown color. It is very cute. When I
need it, I'll need it. You know what I
mean? Here is this set which is very
kind of similar vibes to the other one.
I haven't worn it in so long. The other
one I'm like it's a definite keep, but
this one I'm more on the fence about.
Kind of giving flight attendant a little
bit. You know what I mean? I might just
keep this in a maybe pile for right now
and then decide at the end. I have
officially organized this, you guys. It
looks amazing. I think I probably got
rid of 50% of everything here. I have so
much more room. It's not as cramped.
Everything is like properly hung. It's
giving me life. So, I ended up keeping
these two sets just because I was like,
you know what? I will find an occasion
eventually to wear them. So, I got all
my going out clothes here and it's just
so satisfying cuz I haven't actually
like gotten rid of my going out clothes
in so long. The last time I did that was
like 2025. So, now these are my pants
and my sweatpants, my jeans. So, I'm
actually going to take these all out and
try almost every single pair on and
really cut this down because when I tell
you I wear the same pair of jeans over
and over and over again, I am not
kidding you. And then also if something
needs hemming, putting it in that
hemming pile because I am not
procrastinating hemming my pants no
longer. I want every single pant in this
closet to actually be able to fit me
properly so that I gravitate towards
wearing it or else it's just going to be
sitting cuz like some of these jeans
have been sitting for years now and I
just keeping them for no reason. So as
long as I've kept these jeans, I am
throwing them out because first of all,
they don't even fit right. There's a big
gap here. These are cut. Donate. These
I'm going to put in the maybe pile
because obviously they need hemming, but
I don't know. The wash is not my
favorite. I don't gravitate towards
these. I think I'm going to cut them,
but I'm going to put them in the maybe
pile to see what I have kind of at the
end of this cuz I'm not just going to
hem them if they're mediocre. So, these
are from Revolve. And as you can see,
you guys, I have to stop not hemming my
pants. Like, this is actually insane.
But they do fit pretty good. It's just
hard to envision them what they would
look like if they were hems cuz like
they're just so long. But they do fit me
really good. These are going to be a
contender to hem. These ones are from
White Box. They're low-rise, baggy, and
once again, surprise, they're long. But
I do really like these. The fit of them
are really great. I like the way that
they fit. Hear me out. These do fit me.
I would need to hem them. They do drag
on the ground. But all these jeans I've
been showing you guys, I have gotten for
free like from brands and stuff. I don't
know how to describe it, but like I
wouldn't pick these out in a store. I
think when it comes to that, like
they've been sitting for so long now for
a reason, and I think I'm going to get
rid of them. And I'm going to buy myself
like the perfect pair of jeans because I
need to start like actually picking
stuff out myself instead of just keeping
like what I get from brands because yes,
I love getting free stuff, but sometimes
like when it comes with online orders,
nothing is exactly like it is online.
So, it's really hard to tell. So, I need
to go in person jean shopping and find
like a really good staple pair of jeans
for the fall cuz I feel like you only
really need like two to three max pairs
of staple jeans and you're good to go.
I've been wearing the same one pair for
like a year now over and over and over
and over every time I wear jeans. These
are the only beige jeans that I have
like different color besides black. I
think I'm going to keep them. I don't
really ever gravitate towards them. Like
I always just gravitate towards a jean,
but I think I'm going to keep them. See
if I style them for the fall. And they
do need to be a little bit hemmed as
well. So I'm going to put them in the
hem pile. I think I'd wear them if
they'd fit. They're from Garage. But let
me know what you guys think about these.
These are actually my most diva pair of
jeans. Like so different. And I just got
these like recently on sale for
literally like $15. Look at the back. Oh
my goodness. They are so diva. I do need
to get them hemmed as you could see. I'm
just going through my sweatpants now.
But I really love these ones from
Garage, but I just never wear them
because I can't wear them outside. They
drag. So I'm going to put this in the
hem pile. This is a perfect example of
sweatpants that actually fit me. We need
a short girl brand. Here is right now
what I have left. I literally kept three
pairs of jeans because realistically
these are like my everyday jeans. the
ones I was talking about that I wear
time and time and time and time again.
Honestly forgot I had these. I really do
like these. I just forgot about them.
And then these are like the different
style tighter ones. So I have these
cuffed ones from Aritzia that I got like
years ago, but honestly I still love a
good cuffed pair of sweatpants once in a
while. So I have these ones from Garage
and then the ones that I put in the
Heming pile. I actually put a couple in
there. I'll show you guys that um later.
I have these blue ones from Brandy.
They're just super comfy. These cheetah
ones. I have a pair of cuffed black ones
that I just got from Arden that I really
like. These are straight leg sweatpants
from Garage. But honestly, they have
like a lot of pilling on them and
they're just not in the best shape. So,
I'm going to keep them until I find a
replacement for them and then I'll
actually get those hemmed because
there's no point in me hemming these
since they're just like really old and
raggedy. Like, I want to get a good pair
of black sweatpants. And these are just
my butter yellow linen pants from
Aritzia. And that is actually it for my
pants. Obviously, a lot of them right
now are in the tailoring pile, but I got
rid of so much. We have made it to the
second half of the closet. Let's quickly
go through my jackets here. This
shouldn't be that long. This jacket I
got from Garage. Honestly, it's just not
like my favorite material. When I wear
it, I'm not like, "Yes, I love this."
It's kind of like eh to me. Ooh, we
might be in need for a a new black
leather jacket this year. I'm going to
go look in the mirror. Okay, I actually
think that I really like this one. I'm
going to keep it. Okay, this next one is
also from Garage, and I have not worn
this. I don't like the style of it.
Going to donate. And then this is my fur
coat from Revolve. Obviously faux fur. I
love this jacket. I'm just going to swap
it out with the black hanger. I wore it
so much last year. And then this jacket.
I actually bought this last year. It was
like an investment piece from Oaken for.
I love this jacket. I wore it like
literally all the time last year.
I feel like this is the type of jacket
that it's a funnel neck. So I like to
always wear funnel necks like zipped up.
So I'm definitely going to keep this
one. I really like this. I got this last
year from Revolve. It was a gifted
piece. I really like it though. I think
it's time I part ways with this one,
though. I don't need it. I feel like I
got that one last year and I got another
brown one. So, I'm going to part ways
with this one. I already know how that
fits. Try on this one quickly. This is a
very similar style to the last one.
Obviously, I don't need both. They are
very similar, but this was also a gifted
piece and I feel like I will make use of
both of them this fall. Like in the
fall, I'm always in a leather jacket
like this. Okay, this is just a cash
jacket from garage. I think I actually
really like this still cuz I wore this a
handful of times last year. I think I'm
going to keep it and then if I don't
reach for it this fall, I'll just throw
it out. It's just hard to judge with it
when it comes to jackets what I'm going
to be wearing this year. This jacket on
the other hand, I don't think I reached
for it once last fall. I don't know. I'm
I'm unsure of this one. It's so hard for
me when it comes to jackets. Let me know
down below in the comments. I'll keep it
for now and then if you guys are like,
"Get rid of it," I will get rid of it.
So, let me know if you can help a girl
out with this one. This jacket I'm going
to donate. This jacket I'm going to
donate. Okay, I do like this one. I feel
like it would be good for Christmas, you
know, that time of the year. I do always
gravitate towards this one though, so
that's why I'm like really debating it.
But these are different. Like this one
is more cropped. This one is a lot
longer. I'll keep this for now. One more
season, and then if I don't wear it,
then that's when I'll chuck it. Okay,
this is the trench that I actually
thrifted last year. I bought it in my
thrifting for fall video and I said I
was going to get it tailored. Surprise,
surprise. I never got it tailored cuz I
wanted to shorten it a little bit. Maybe
what I'll do is I'll bring this jacket
to the tailor when I go and then I'll
put it on, talk to them, and be like,
"Hey, how much would this cost to do
this to the jacket?" It's also missing a
button, too. And then if it's like worth
it, I'll do it. And then if they quote
me something that I can basically buy a
whole new one for, I will say no cuz it
is just from H&M. And then for the rest
of my jackets, I have this trench, which
I wear all the time. This trench, which
is a bit newer. And then I have this
cropped trench that I got from Zara last
year. This is like one of my favorite
pieces. I love it. This is like
basically the shape that I wanted to
make that gray one. This one also goes
into a funnel neck. So, I have two long
trenches, two cropped ones. I thrifted
this one last year. Okay, I feel like I
got rid of a good handful of jackets
here. I have this jean jacket. Actually,
now trying it on, I low key like really
like it. Maybe I will be busting this
out in the fall. Want to say hi? If
you're doing a closet clean out, still
working on it. It's been so long. I
know. Anyways, that concludes the
jackets. I did good. I got rid of 1,
two, three, four, five. Five jackets.
Now, basically in these drawers here, I
just have underwear, bras, socks, like
just stuff like that. I also need new
socks, by the way. Speaking of socks,
and then here, I have all my pajamas.
Oh, shorts are in there. And then some
skirts, I think. And then the bottom is
just like my summer bikinis and stuff.
Very productive right now. I'm just
going to clean this area a bit. And then
we can do the drawers. And that is
basically it. Heat. Heat.
I literally blocked the entrance from my
room to the living room. So, let's put
this all in some garbage bags and sort
through this a little bit. I know this
is actually insane. I told you guys that
I do not mess with a closet cleanout.
Like, I go crazy. I already started a
bag. I'm going to sort through
everything. I kind of already put the
pile of stuff that I'm selling cuz I am
selling a handful of things just to make
like some money back on the more higher
value, higher priced items. The rest I'm
going to be giving to my younger sister
who literally her wardrobe is made out
of my old wardrobe. I'm not even joking
you. It benefits her and then anything
she doesn't want I will give to other
girlies in my life and anything they
don't want will go to donation. I think
what makes me happiest is having a
condensed wardrobe that I know
everything is good quality, it fits me.
when I get free clothes from brands and
partnerships and stuff, it's hard to
just keep up with that because I just
keep the clothes. I do wear them, but
it's harder to build a capsule wardrobe.
So, I just need to be more diligent of
like even if I do collab with the brand
and get free clothes, just like
instantly be like, "Okay, what am I
going to wear? What am I not going to
wear?" And like just give the pieces
away to my family and friends. So, yeah,
let's sort through what I'm putting in
the bags to get it all at least put
somewhere cuz right now, literally
blocking the entrance here to my living
room. So, I'm going to work on this
right now.
bag one already done.
>> Second bag.
Five. Three.
Bike. Four.
my fifth bag. Um, so this is has no room
on the top. So we did good.
We are sticking to our word. We are
hemming the pants right now. I am about
to go to the mall to the seamstress. I
literally have this full bag, guys. I
have so many pants to hem. One of them
is going to be free because I'm taking
it to Lululemon because they do free
hemming there. I've literally had these
pants for like six months now or longer
and I haven't got them hemmed. So, I'm
going to Lululemon. I'm going to do
those. I don't know if I'm going to get
all of these pants hemmed. I'm really
going to ask like the pricing on what
they can do for me because some of them
I can go without getting them hemmed cuz
I usually just wear them around the
house. So, I'm going to see what they
can do for me price-wise. I don't want
to spend $5 million on getting my pants
hemmed today. I will be tailoring my
most important pants that I need to get
done. Let's go get these freaking pants
tailored. You guys, I'm so proud of
myself for actually doing this right
now. Here's the bag of everything. This
is short girl problems right here.
I'm at Lululemon getting my pants hemmed
finally. This is the before. They do it
for free here. Yeah, let's get these
babies hemmed and cut so I can wear them
in the fall.
I realized I never did an outro, but
this is how many bags of clothing I
ended up giving away. Guys, I actually
got rid of at least like 40 to 50% of my
wardrobe, and it feels amazing. I won't
be getting the pants back until the end
of the week. So, if you guys want to see
how they turned out, make sure to stay
tuned for my upcoming vlogs, cuz I will
definitely show you guys there. This is
your sign to do a closet cleanout. I'm
telling you, it is game-changing. And
now I can actually keep my space clean.
Thank you so much for watching. I love
you so much, and I will see you in the
next video.
