Everything You Need To Know About The Huge Six Flags Announcement

All righty, let's talk about it. So, you all know that Six Flags has teased a major announcement tomorrow on Tuesday that will turn heads across the amusement industry. Now, that obviously gets any roller coaster enthusiast super hyped and it's led to some pretty interesting conversations. One specific group of people that I think you guys should really go follow on Instagram is Coaster Hub, Coaster and then HUB. They have been covering something very significant in the coaster I'm saying community again, but it's not really coaster community, the coaster realm of possible sales in the industry. And they're actually the only reason that I know about this topic that I'm going to discuss right now because this could potentially be part of some of this news. So, let's get it started. In this video, I'm going to talk about what I think this announcement could be. I'm obviously going to center this around my home park mainly, Canada's Wonderland, but we're going to talk about Kings Island and potentially some of these other smaller parks in the chain as well. So, yes, we know of certain projects that are already announced for the 2027 season and we know of some parks that are already gearing up for 2028, aka Canada's Wonderland. Now, we obviously know there are going to be other parks fitted in there. Kings Island and Cedar Point desperately need something and it's going to show because Cedar Point is a park that needs to add something almost immediately. Their attendance numbers are down and they're going to need something to offset that and Kings Island is in desperate need of something as well. So, I'd fully suspect Kings Island being the center of attention. Kings Island is one of the crown jewels of the chain. It has been doing really well this season. It has been doing really well last season and it is a completely well-rounded park. So, I would love to see King's Island get something major, and I potentially think they could be the star of tomorrow's announcement. But, please understand that I do not know anything concrete. And again, I strongly suggest following Coaster Hub on Instagram as they are the ones that have been kind of pre-following this without maybe even knowing that they were following this topic of discussion. So, let's get into it. Six Flags is going to announce something significant, and we already know that Area Force One is closed, and there was a huge process to try and get it sold. Now, we also know, thanks to El Toro Ryan, um that Six Flags executives were overriding Area Force One in its last couple of days, as well as the new Enchanted Park CEO um also checking it out. So, we obviously know, based off of that, we could suggest, again, keyword suggest, because you got to take all this with grain of salt, um as this is all mere speculation. So, one of those two companies is potentially the buyer of Area Force One. That's what I would assume. But again, when you assume things, you could make a out of yourself and I. But, um I wouldn't be surprised if this major announcement could be, again, could be, possibly King's Island scooping up Area Force One um and building it, and Six Flags saving it. That would align with the wording that they used. Um it's a move that will turn heads across the amusement industry. So, keywords there. Um and that is a move that would turn heads in the amusement industry. Another move that would turn heads in the amusement industry is this amazing deal, again, thanks to Coaster Hub. You got to give credit to the information where you get it from. There's a ride, an Intamin rides package up for sale right now, um that wasn't used, and I believe it's from um, China uh, is where this package was going to be utilized. And it's up for sale and it's for a huge discount. $15 million and you could score, I believe, two roller coasters or three if you technically include the half pipe and an Intamin drop tower. And there's something else I'm missing. I I I apologize for that. But again, check out CoasterHub. They have all the details on it. And that could be part of the announcement as well or it could be both, Air Force One and this ride package. Now, I definitely think one of two chains is going to pick up that ride package and Air Force One. It's either going to be Enchanted Parks or Six Flags. Um, and I I truthfully believe Kings Island is the prime um, park to get Air Force One. Now, outside of that, I do think Enchanted Parks would be the better suitor for that Chinese um, package of rides uh, by Intamin. However, at $15 million, that's like a steal. I I don't understand how anyone wouldn't be fighting over that and maybe bidding on that. Um, but however, I have been given the most common question uh, from all of you viewers is Canada's Wonderland going to get Air Force One? And that is a no. Canada's Wonderland will not and is not even thinking about getting Air Force One. And the current construction zone with markings does not align with Air Force One. So, for those of you that have been holding out hope for Air Force One coming to Canada's Wonderland, that is not the direction nor the roller coaster that would work at a park like Canada's Wonderland. You need elevation change and you need a very specific plot of land that could fit such a coaster. Canada's Wonderland is going to need a very custom um, coaster or a very plug and play coaster to work at its park. Air Force One just does not fit into that. For those of you that are holding out hope for an RMC, and unfortunately we all were at Canada's Wonderland, I wouldn't suspect an RMC until 2031. Um we are going to get our coaster in 2028. Um and we we should start seeing action start taking place starting tomorrow or in and around tomorrow on these weekdays that the park is closed. We should start to see some sort of signs leading up to that in the fall season. So, we're getting very close. Um it's going to be whatever they're building here. It's most likely going to be Vekoma, Mack, um or now I'm missing it. Um I I would be looking at Vekoma or Mack for our next coaster. Um however, um Intamin I'm in Discord? Give me a second. Sorry, I had to go and leave Discord. I was in the call where we're recording that video and I could hear them like trying to call out to me Intamin. Um so, yes, it is either Intamin, Vekoma, or Mack based off of the footing um blueprint. However, um we don't want it to be a Vekoma with recent revelations because Vekoma uses different markings on their columns for the tilt coaster. So, a tilt coaster is ruled out based off based off of our findings. So, essentially with that information, um uh again, one might be like, well, it's an Intamin ride package. So, could Wonderland be Well, the ride package that they're currently selling doesn't fit into our very L-shaped design um with the launch and the uh brake runs. So, none of those coasters that are currently up for sale in that ride package work at Canada's Wonderland. It is going to be custom. Remember, they were surveying this land about 3 4 years ago. So, whatever this is has been hard at work. Um so, yeah, we're we'll we'll start to find out shortly. but I think all I should be on Kings Island or me personally St. Louis or whatever you call it their new name under Enchanted Parks. I think those are two key parks that could potentially be getting but yeah. So, that's all I currently have a feeling for. I do think tomorrow's announcement at Six Flags is going to be pretty major obviously based off of the wording they've used, but I we could see some potential other 2027 announcements like flat rides, water slides, entertainment, and upgrades. I do know Canada's Wonderland is working on some upgrades for the 2027 season that a lot of us already pre-know about. Mine Buster is going to be finished. They are going to have to start working on Wild Beast to some extent. If they do go one more season, we are looking at a complete removal. However, you're going to see some sort of major upgrade happen with Wild Beast and then or a complete removal for a new ride for the 20 31 season. So, with this plot of land being utilized for the 2027 season at Canada's Wonderland, I do have to say that the only other plots of land available for our future RMC if that's the direction they went is the Wild Beast plot of land or the Kingswood plot of land if this new coaster doesn't utilize Kingswood at all.
