Video summary
This video provides an in-depth review of the 1985 Gobots figure known as Guardian Major Mo, highlighting its impressive design and transformation capabilities. The reviewer begins by praising the vehicle mode, which transforms into a Nissan 300ZX with exceptional sculpted detailing that includes visible headlights, door handles, and a gas tank. Although the paint applications are minimal, consisting mainly of black for the windows and front/rear sections along with chrome decals on the hood and back, the overall aesthetic is described as fantastic and visually striking. The transformation sequence is noted as being quite cool for a Gobots toy, involving pulling out side panels to reveal robot arms, flipping up rear sections to form legs, sliding down the top part to expose the head, and folding various components into place to complete the shift from vehicle to robot.
Once in robot mode, Major Mo presents a cool appearance with a silver head featuring a black visor and a speaker-like mouth, which the reviewer amusingly compares to the killer robots from the movie *Chopping Mall*. The chest area retains the front of the vehicle design, while the arms are well-detailed enough to show distinct fists and thumbs. The figure's die-cast construction is found in the thighs, providing a solid base for the toy. In terms of articulation, the arms offer a complete 360-degree range of motion, though the rest of the body adheres to basic Gobots standards typical of that era. The reviewer expresses genuine enthusiasm for the figure, noting that they had never heard of it until recently but are glad they acquired it for their collection.
To give viewers a sense of scale, the video includes size comparisons between Major Mo and other classic Gobots figures such as Leader One, Turbo, Street Heat, and Sparky, as well as a modern comparison with the Transformers Studio Series Win Charger. The reviewer concludes that Major Mo is a fantastic addition to any Gobots collection due to its excellent vehicle mode, smooth transformation, and attractive robot design. They strongly recommend the figure to collectors and invite viewers to share their thoughts in the comments section. The video ends with a standard call to action encouraging viewers to like, subscribe, enable notifications, and consider channel memberships to support the content creator's efforts in reviewing Transformers and related toys.

Major Mo. The whole Gobots naming team
needed to be fired. So anyway, Major Mo
here transforms into a Nissan 300ZX.
And this is a fantastic looking vehicle
mode. I don't know what it was with the
Gobots and their red cars, but right
here is another fantastic example of a
perfect looking vehicle mode. Love the
sculpted detailing on him. You can make
out the headlights right there. The
detailing on the hood. On the side, you
can see the door handles. Let's see. On
the back, nothing. But here on the other
side, you got the gas tank, the other
door handle. Just looks really good.
There is some decals. You got decal here
on the hood and chrome decals on the
back. Minimal paint applications, but
they work. You got black here on the
front and the back and black for the
windows. So, all in all, that vehicle
mode looks fantastic. It absolutely
flies across the table. Love the vehicle
mode. Now, let's get into his robot
mode. And the transformation for Major
Mo is pretty cool for a Gobot. I mean,
these Gobot transformations have been
quite impressive since I started
collecting them, but I really like his.
First thing we're going to do is pull
out the sides right here, revealing the
robot arms. And then we're going to flip
up this whole section here. That's going
to enable you to flip around the rear
section of the vehicle, forming the
robot legs. Taking the top section of
the vehicle here, pull out right here
along the top. That's going to slide
down revealing the robot head. Take the
front and you're going to press it down
and it's going to clip in right there
above the legs. You kind of hear it snap
into place maybe.
Or maybe not. Or I don't have it down
all the way. Okay, there we go. And now
you're going to bring this back section
down. And it's going to fold up and
over. And you see this peg right here?
Going to slide in right there where that
hole is. Now you're going to slide the
arms up. Getting those in position up by
the shoulders.
And there we go. We've got Major Mo in
his robot mode. And robot mode is pretty
cool looking. Bring him in for a closer
look. Love the head sculpt. And for some
reason, his head sculpt reminds me of
the killer robots from Chopping Mall.
So, there's that. The head is done up in
silver with a black visor. Looks like he
has a little speaker mouth. The chest is
the front of the vehicle. He does have
some pretty welldetailed arms right
here. You can make out the fist and the
thumb. And there's a little hole right
there. You can look all the way through.
The die cast for Major Mo is the thighs
right here. And that's pretty much it.
Articulation. The arms can do a complete
360. And yeah, basic gobot articulation.
So, there you go guys, 1985's Major Mo.
And now for some quick size comparisons.
Here is 1985's Gobots Guardian Major Mo
