Video summary

The video begins by addressing a fresh wave of leaks surrounding Nintendo's upcoming Zelda 40th Anniversary and the anticipated Switch 2 Pro Controller. The host acknowledges that while some initial images, such as leaked photos of the console itself, were previously discussed in earlier content, new details have since emerged to keep fans engaged. To celebrate this excitement, the creator offers a giveaway for a Nintendo Switch, requiring only a channel subscription to enter via links provided in the description and comments. This segment sets the stage for diving deeper into specific updates that distinguish these latest revelations from past information. A significant portion of the new content focuses on an updated design comparison for the Zelda 40th Anniversary logo against previous iterations from the 25th and 30th anniversaries, noting notably that no official logo was released for the 35th milestone. The video highlights how a community member named Necroil Lima accurately predicted elements of the final logo before its release, earning credit for his foresight despite minor discrepancies in lettering. Beyond logos, the most substantial new leak reveals the back design of the Switch Pro Controller, which features gold wrapping around the triggers and green accents depicting Link shooting his sword through the Switch 2 logo from one end to the other. This intricate detail pays homage to *The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time*, where players could shoot their own swords as beams, adding a nostalgic touch that fans are eager to see realized on hardware. All these images originate from Chinese forums and suggest that while high-quality photos of the console itself have not yet surfaced, the community remains hopeful for further leaks or an official announcement before the September Nintendo Direct event. The host draws parallels to previous manufacturing leaks seen with the Tears of the Kingdom Switch 2 OLED in late 2023, explaining that such early disclosures are common when manufacturers struggle to keep details under wraps prior to reveals. Rather than causing delays, these premature leaks serve primarily to build anticipation for the upcoming direct, reinforcing the likelihood that both the new controller and console will be officially confirmed within a month or so as Nintendo prepares its next major presentation.

You know, sometimes you make a video and you go, "Hey, let me get this live quick. This is really big news." And then after it's live, you're like, "Oh crap, we have more." That's right, more images of the Zelda Switch 2 Pro Controller, Zelda 40th anniversary leak stuff. Uh, things are kind of going crazy. So, we're going to recap what we covered so far and go over what's new. Uh, guys, we are giving away a Switch, too. You can enter through the link down in the pin comment or the description. The only requirement to enter is to be subscribed to the channel. We're going to make this video short and sweet for you guys. Uh, so right here we obviously have Necroil Lima. We went over this image already in a prior video if you want to look at it. This is the leaked console. Okay, cool. That's great. Uh, that's not new. Again, we have a closer look in our prior video. Same with this as well. We have a closer look at this, too. So, cool. That's not new. Now, we're going to get into what actually is new. First off, how about a direct comparison of that 40th anniversary logo? Well, we have a look at it compared to the 25th and the 30th anniversary. Remember, there wasn't a 35th anniversary logo. So, look at that. 40th Legend of Zelda. Pretty cool. Pretty unique, pretty different. Probably the most unique one since the 25th anniversary. Okay, that's really interesting. Um, also here is just a comparison of what the drawn one was from Neccoipe versus the final design. And yeah, Necroalipe was right on. He said, "Yeah, the lettering is not 100% right." But hey, yeah, he legitimately saw the logo. So, credit to Necroalipe for breaking that news to the internet. Now, let's get to what's new. We talked about how we hadn't seen the back of the Switch 2 Pro Controller to know how things wrapped around. Now, we have. There it is, folks. The back of the Switch Pro Control. You can see it wraps the gold around the back on the on the back part of it by the triggers, but then you see the green wrapping around the back of the system with the Link shooting his sword through the Switch 2 logo out the other end. If you know the original Zelda full life, you can shoot your sword beams. That is what is happening right there on the very back of the controller. What a nice touch. Just a really really nice touch. Really excited to see that. Uh and one last thing just to kind of throw out where this that came from is right here. Uh we talked about this image already uh on our prior video, but there was actually one more image that we hadn't found. All of this, by the way, is coming from Chinese forums. Uh and it's this one right here. That is the one that has the back of the controller. Unfortunately, we haven't seen any more like high quality photos of the console. We're really hoping that uh another batch of photos ends up leaking and we see the rest. Or really what we're hoping for is that Nintendo just decides to reveal the damn thing. But either way, guys, it's probably happening in the September Nintendo Direct. So, we're probably still like a month away from actually having this all officially announced and confirmed. We had this happen, by the way, with the Tears of the Kingdom Switch 2 OLED. If you remember back in 2023 in December of 2022, we got manufacturing leaks just like that for this. Nintendo has a hard time getting this stuff announced before stuff leaks from manufacturing. But it didn't delay anything last time. It's probably not delaying anything this time. All it's actually doing is just getting people more and more excited for the upcoming Nintendo Direct September. I'm telling you guys, it's probably in September. I'll see you then. Bye everyone. Heat. Heat. [music]
