She views performing in Israel as an important mission for an Israeli and Jewish artist to speak openly, encourage kindness, and demonstrate that people are not scary despite the backlash she sometimes faces from haters. She believes this voice is a gift given to her by the universe or God, serving as her true purpose to bridge divides through music and personal connection.
Her new album, titled "Red Heaven," released in May, serves as a central theme for her upcoming concert and represents her journey of finding home after moving frequently throughout her life. To Tali, the color red symbolizes confidence, boldness, and romance, while heaven signifies a safe place and home, concepts she explores deeply in her songwriting. Several tracks on the album were co-written with local collaborators, including members of the globally rising band Temper City and Tamir Greenberg, making the project a full-circle moment where she finally performs songs created in Israel within that same country.

Thank you for being with us tonight on
i24 news. Two years ago you represented
Luxembourg at the Eurovision contest. It
was the first time Luxembourg came back
to the Eurovision contest.
It was a hard year after 7th of October,
first year with Israel after that. What
do you remember of your experience there
in Malmö, Sweden?
>> First of all, thank you for having me.
It's a pleasure to be here talking to
you. Um, it was insane. It was amazing.
Something that I will always always take
with me forever in my life.
Uh, and it really defines a lot of my
career now and and I'll always cherish
the moments.
What I remember most, I guess, standing
on that stage and seeing 12,000 little
flashlights looking at me. I think it's
something so unique that a human can
experience and I think it's just the
feeling is something I can't even
describe in words.
>> So, you were born in Israel. You You
represented Luxembourg. You didn't hide
there that you were Israeli too. Did you
have the feeling that you were
representing both Luxembourg and Israel
at that time?
>> First of all, yeah, I never like to hide
my identity. I think it would be
inauthentic as an artist to hide who you
are and it's a huge part of how I was
raised is to love Israel and the
connection with that and music. As
someone who's been traveling around the
world from Chile to Argentina to
Luxembourg to New York,
I felt like I was representing all sides
of me including Israel and it was so
cool to be on such a huge stage and kind
of represent this multicultural kind of
background that I grew up with and and
not shy away from it.
>> So, let's speak about this first show
ever here in Israel.
It's in November. How do you feel about
that?
>> I'm so excited. I've been waiting two
years since the Eurovision to kind of
come back and and show the audience that
I'm here and I'm loyal. They were so
kind to me. Honestly, the Israeli
audience was so kind to me throughout
and in Jewish community and I think I
kind of want to give back finally and
and do a show and have a big party and
and sing in all the languages and kind
of really connect and meet my fans here.
So, I'm super excited.
>> Is there like something specific, uh,
that you plan for the Israeli audience
compared to the European one?
>> Great question. Yes, I think I
definitely I'm going to throw in a
little Hebrew, do some Well, maybe one
or two of my favorite songs in in
Hebrew, maybe invite one or two artists.
>> Oh.
>> Yeah, we'll see.
>> Obviously coming here in Israel and
doing a show you're advertising on your
socials, like and you are here with
first in Israeli channel. Uh,
why do you think it's important to come
to Israel with all the backlash you can
receive sadly from the haters?
>> I think it's important because we are
very few,
um, and to me I have the opportunity as,
um, an Israeli and Jewish artist as well
and not just like Luxembourgish and
Latina artist to kind of, um,
show what I think and speak about it and
not be shy and encourage kindness and
and and show that we're not so scary,
um, and I think that's probably one of
the most important things for me as an
artist is to really just
show that and and I have that voice that
that the universe or God, if you believe
in God, gave me and I think that that's
kind of my my, um,
yeah, my purpose as well.
>> So, you are going to show us, uh, your
last album on stage. There will be songs
from it. Can you speak more about this
album? What can we listen on it?
>> Yeah, of course. The album is called Red
Heaven. It came out in May.
Uh, Red Heaven because red to me the
color is a very confident, bold,
romantic,
uh, color and heaven in English means
some sort of safe place and home. And as
someone who's moved around so so so
much, I feel like finally I am finding
home in music and in people that I love.
And so, that's something I write a a lot
about. Um a lot of the songs were
written with people from here, actually,
um including Temper City, which is one
of the bands that is blowing up
worldwide now, good friends of mine, and
Tamir Greenberg, we wrote Strawberry
Fragrance together. And so that was
super fun. And uh yeah, I'm excited to
like finally do it here,
um where a lot of the songs were kind of
made, which is full circle.
