The former minister of fashion has called for a comprehensive review of laws governing intellectual property rights to better protect the creative works of artists beginning at the solo art exhibition of grace at the federal hotel in Lagos. fashion emphasized the need to value and safeguard the unique talents that artist contributes to society. He articulated that while artist talent is a divine gift, it requires legal backing to ensure that creators reap their full benefits of their work. The camera will see only what you want to see. So like when sometimes you're lost in the vision you can't see. And with this exhibition I want people to feel the art. I want people to feel what I felt when I was taking pictures. I want people to feel what what the the the type of journey I went through. I want people to feel it. I want people to research. I want people to reflect on it when they view the work. It's an art. It's a gift. It's something you have to imagine something. You start scrolling things down, you're not getting it right, you start all over again and you know that kind of thing. So, it's it's good. any child who is interested just let it be because that's the the gift that God has actually given her before she even became an adult or what have you. Yeah, but some people will say, "Oh, what do you want to do with arts work?" I be go be doctor or lawyer or what have you. No, it doesn't work like that. >> A lot of us in Nigeria, we struggle a lot, but we also find joy in darkness. I think that's one good thing about Nigerians that we have is that we tend to make light out of, you know, very dark situations. And I genuinely think it's a very beautiful thing. So, I think that's how it kind of like encapsulates, you know, the Nigerian struggle and the beauty in the Nigerian struggle. Everything around you can be dark. Everything around you can be obscure. But even in that darkness and obscurity, if you have inner light that is coming from within you, you would that inner light will radiate and bring about joy and bring about peace and bring about good things in the world around you. So you can be lost in a world of light and you can also radiate joy and goodness and happiness in the midst of darkness and obscurity.
