Hello, my name is Emma Johnson. I would
love to extend my appreciation to

student MLIS scholarship.
As a former special ed student who
struggled with
reading and communicating with one's
peers, I never thought I would make it
this far in education.
With that past experience and the love
of learning, I would love to become an
academic or public librarian to help
people do research,
get the materials that they need and
also
foster a love of learning in them and
patrons.
And I am I am very grateful for this
scholarship and excited to start my MLIS
journey at San Jose State University.
And I promise with this scholarship I
will work hard, enrich my learning in
the library science field and give back
