Video summary
Sha 1000 takes viewers on an e-bike ride through the suburban neighborhood of Mukpet on a pleasant day, hoping to catch some rain later in the afternoon before it arrives. Before setting off, he briefly mentions performing maintenance on his front brakes by sanding down the pads and rotors to stop squealing, though he notes they still require adjustment. During the ride, he encounters an issue where his rear cable brakes lock up unexpectedly due to heat, a problem he attributes to the need for an upgrade from cable to hydraulic brakes. He also discovers that the same heat is causing the rear brakes to squeal again, prompting him to plan further repairs once he returns home.
As he cruises through the area, Sha 1000 shares observations about the local environment and his surroundings, including spotting a large boat trailer stuck in trees and noting an empty house with a dumpster that might be for rent. He reflects on past projects, imagining how such spaces could be used for workshops or even building model trains and racetracks. The ride includes some off-roading on Shady Acres Drive and navigating dead-end lanes, where he tests the bike's speed capabilities, reaching speeds of over 40 mph downhill while discussing the smooth performance of his DJI camera. He also recalls old memories of noisy four-wheel-drive tires known as "groundhogs" and expresses a desire to eventually own a large boat for coastal cruising.
The weather takes a turn as raindrops begin to fall, signaling the arrival of the storm Sha 1000 had been anticipating. Despite the rain starting, he decides to head back home through a shaded lane under the tree canopy before the downpour intensifies. He mentions that his friend "Monkey" went to Walmart with her mother earlier in the day and briefly discusses plans for fixing a lawn mower belt he received as a gift. Although the bike has proven waterproof during previous rides in heavy rain, including one early morning trip to the river, Sha 1000 chooses to end the ride early to avoid getting caught in the heavier rain without proper gear like a poncho.
The video concludes with Sha 1000 thanking his viewers for joining him on this short but eventful neighborhood cruise. He shares that his e-bike has accumulated over 324 miles and jokes that Monkey's bike is still relatively new, having less than 100 miles on it. Despite not being able to ride as long as he had hoped due to the weather, he remains enthusiastic about his equipment and encourages viewers to stay safe and enjoy their weekends. He signs off by promising more future content and wishing everyone a great Friday before saying goodbye.

Hey everyone, Sha 1000 here. Today it's
a nice day. Thought I'd take a little
bike ride though. Supposed to get a
little bit of rain this afternoon, but
uh I thought we'd have time to take a
little cruise. cuz I haven't had the
bike out in a little while. So,
I thought I'd uh take you guys on a
little bike ride.
Fixing my mirrors here
just around the neighborhood. Just a
little piece.
Hopefully the wind's not too bad. I do
have my mic on today.
I did fix my front brakes from
squealing, but I had to take them apart,
sand them all down.
I sanded the pads and the rotors.
Sounds like they still need a little bit
of an adjustment.
Uh, let me see. I might want to turn
around.
Fix your camera there a little bit.
Brake locked up. My back brake locked
up.
That was strange.
Heat. Heat.
I don't know why my Back brakes locking
up, but it is,
huh, don't like that.
Didn't do that last time I had it out.
Just cable brakes. I should probably
upgrade to hydraulics.
Uh, we're running about 24 and a half
right now. I'm in I don't know, second
third gear. Yeah, third gear.
Well, speed three, I should say. It's
not really a gear. It's just a
how much juice I'm putting into the
motor from the battery.
Heat. Heat.
No. Not sure what's going on with this
building. Citrus and vac. Um
I don't see a for lease sign. Someone's
keeping it mowed. So I don't know what
they're going to do with it.
Be a good place to make a little
workshop in.
Well,
you know, some place to ped around and
put trains and steam engines and
racetracks and stuff.
That house is empty now. Well, looks
like it. Yeah, they're doing something.
There's a dumpster there. probably going
to uh
imagine they're probably going to uh
rent it out.
Now my back brakes are squealing. Cool.
Damn.
Hate that sound.
Now I'm going to have to take them
apart. or why I got to take them apart
anyway apparently and find out why
they're sticking.
Seen a boat
a boat in them trees there.
Looking for a boat trailer. I need to
put an axle in ours. I see a canoe.
Looks like a johnboat.
where that guy used to live here on the
left. He sold the house and moved. I
don't know. I haven't talked to him. I
don't know where he moved to.
He was running a little uh motorcycle
shop out of there.
did good work, too.
Little bit of off-roading here.
Shady Acres Drive.
Like riding through back alleys
sometimes. You find some toys, you know,
some projects. Heat.
Heat.
These are all dead end lanes up here to
the right.
Yep. Every one of these to the right's
dead end.
Yep. All of them.
All right, I know where that next one
comes out at. It just comes out there on
the main drag. This one right straight
ahead
and it dead ends to the right. So, let
me see here.
Oops.
Big old boat still sitting down here.
Yeah, they're on the right.
Palm Beach, Florida.
Man, I hate to see something like that
sitting there, but it's too big for what
we want to do. Of course, while monkey
would like to have a boat that big and
cruise the uh cruise the coastline,
stay on the boat for a while. We We've
talked about that.
We've looked at some boats like that.
just go offshore a few miles and
uh
cruise the coastline.
Get up some speed here.
Now we're talking
running about 35 right now.
Can we hit 36? Yeah, there it is. 36.4.
Man, this camera, this DJI is amazing.
Very smooth.
These tires remind me of an old
four-wheel drive. Remember the
groundhogs?
The tires we used to get? We called them
groundhogs.
They would sing going down the highway.
That's for sure. You get up 50 m an
hour. Boy, them things is louder than
your pipes
cuz they were cool back in the day, you
know.
Uhoh. I feel some raindrops
and there's a cloud right over top of my
head as always.
All right, let's head back to the house.
Always like this little lane through
here
with the tree canopy. It's cool. Oh
yeah, we're raining.
All right. Well, anyway, at least we
took a little drive. Like I said, monkey
took her mom to to uh Walmart. Well, she
had to go to the store, get some meats.
She wasn't going to go to Walmart, but
her mom asked if she was going to
Walmart. She said, "Well, I can go to
Walmart." Cuz her mom likes going to
Walmart. So,
right here on the right is where we just
went past
uh where I told you my buddy lived.
All
right.
Well, let's run down the end of the
road.
Oh, we're going downhill.
Can we do it? 39.6.
There it is. 40 miles an hour.
There a bird sanctuary over there across
the street there across the main drag.
They have exotic birds and stuff.
All right, let's head back to the house
and the rain stopped.
How fast can we go up this hill?
34.8
up. Drop down to 33.4.
Wait, can we get it back up? 34. 33.6.
And it's holding at 33.6.
Not too bad for
excuse me for cheap bikes.
Belt came off the lawn mower yesterday
on Monkey. And then I got a uh
free item right there. Craftsman buddy
of mine gave it to me. But I got to put
a new belt and one of the blades is
split on it on the end. So, all right,
guys. Well, thanks for coming along with
me. I appreciate it. And, uh,
I was hoping we'd go a little for a
little bit more of a ride, but I mean,
the bike's pretty well waterproof. Uh,
camera's waterproof. I don't think the
mic is, but I believe it is water
resistant.
But, I just don't want to get
caught up out in the rain. Um, I need to
carry a poncho or something with me on
this bike and that way it wouldn't
really matter. I've had it out in the
rain before pouring down rain. I drove
down to the river one morning early
morning like 5:00 morning before
daylight. It was pouring down rain.
Drove it out to the river and sat under
the uh the pavilion there and for a
little bit and then I came back. Wasn't
raining so bad when I got back, but
never had any issues with the bike. So,
all right guys, I'm going to catch you
off here. I appreciate you watching.
Shay Bear the Myth, the man ledge. I'm
gone for now. Stay tuned for more
videos. I don't know what I'm going to
get into next,
but I know, you know, I look at my bike
every day. I'm going, man, I don't take
a thing for a ride. It's got uh 324
miles on it. Monkeys, I don't even think
it has a 100 on it yet.
All right, guys. Again, thanks for
watching. I appreciate it. Uh, have a
great weekend, everyone. Happy Friday to
you and uh stay safe. We'll see you
soon. Bye-bye everyone. Take care of
yourself.
