EA’s BANNING People For Using Extensions?

Video summary

EA is currently facing significant scrutiny after issuing mass account bans to numerous players, sparking intense debate within the community about the reasons behind these penalties. While many users suspect that third-party tools like Pal Tools or FUT Genie are the cause, as these extensions are often used to complete Season Boost Cards (SBCs) more efficiently, there is no official confirmation from EA linking the bans directly to such software. Instead, evidence suggests that a substantial number of banned players did not use any external tools at all; some were simply trading normally or playing Division Rivals before receiving permanent ban emails. This inconsistency points toward a likely automated flagging error rather than a targeted crackdown on cheat users, especially given that EA's banning system has historically been criticized for its age and lack of accuracy in distinguishing between legitimate gameplay and actual rule violations. The situation is further complicated by the fact that these extensions have become incredibly popular because they help players overcome an outdated and cumbersome SBC system that makes completing objectives extremely time-consuming. Tools like FUT Genie, which boasts over 500,000 active users, allow thousands of daily completions that would otherwise be impossible for many players to achieve manually. Although EA's rules technically prohibit the use of such clients and game data manipulators, the community argues that these tools fill a void created by an obsolete system, effectively allowing players to keep up with the pace of the game. Consequently, banning users for utilizing these utilities creates a frustrating paradox where players are punished for trying to optimize their experience in response to a system that EA itself admits is behind the times and requires modernization. Amidst this confusion, the video also highlights other recent updates and content drops, such as the release of club ratings for FC 27 instead of the anticipated individual player stats, which disappointed many fans expecting top-tier card information. Additionally, the host discusses the ongoing "85-x-10" grind, a strategy where players repeatedly open packs to earn fodder for SBCs, noting that while pack weights remain unchanged and pulling high-rated cards is still possible, it has become increasingly difficult. The host advises players to utilize their gold cards wisely by feeding lower-rated players into the 85-x-10 packs first, then using higher-rated cards for specific player pick SBCs like the Icon or Hero packs, all while remaining cautious about potential bans until EA clarifies its stance on third-party tools and fixes its automated detection errors. Ultimately, the consensus is that EA needs to communicate transparently about these bans and address the flaws in their enforcement system rather than leaving players in a state of uncertainty. If EA were to proceed with banning everyone who uses extensions, it would likely trigger a massive backlash given how widespread the usage has become, particularly during this end-game grind phase. The host concludes that while there is some risk involved, many bans appear to be mistakes that will eventually be reversed without official communication, so players should continue their SBC grinds unless they are personally uncomfortable with the risk. As FC 27 ratings and new content like daily evolutions and potential player SBCs approach, the community waits for EA to resolve this messy situation and restore confidence in their online ecosystem.

Hey guys, it's Nated, AKA The FUT Accountant. Welcome back to the channel. EA's putting themselves in the headlines once again, guys. This time for banning people. Comes at a great time, of course, as the 85-x-10 has just become unlimited repeatable, and the main reason that it seems people are getting banned is because of using third-party extensions and tools like Pal Tools or FUT Genie to get a whole bunch of these SBCs done. But, that's just a rumor because, of course, there's been no communication from EA or no real true reason as to why a lot of these people are getting banned. I want to discuss that whole conversation today because, really, it just brings up all of the problems that the EA banning system has had over the number of years. Market bans, SBC bans, people not even being able to play FC 26 anymore, and even future FC titles cuz they've been completely account banned. Yeah, it is crazy stuff. Now, with the SBCs that we were doing, we're going to talk about whether it's still safe to use some of those tools today, and the best pack grind to do right now with the unlimited repeatable 85-x-10, and how you should be doing more 94+ Icon packs to help yourself get more Footies cards and more fodder. I just accidentally opened one there, and we get a Footies 96-rated duplicate Schmeichel. That's going into an 85-x-10. I'll talk about that. If you're excited for this one today, guys, drop a thumbs up with the video, hype the video, and subscribe if you are new. Now, we're going to start with yesterday's content, and well, the news that we thought was going to be exciting that ended up being not very exciting. Guys, we thought we were going to learn FC 27 ratings yesterday from EA for like Ultimate Team players and cards that were going to be in Ultimate Team. No, they released the club ratings for the top men's and women's team. I don't know how my club, Tottenham Hotspur, is a 4 and 1/2 star team. And I don't think anybody on the Tottenham Hotspur starting 11 or even club is going to be higher than 85 or 86 rated. I feel like Pedro Porro might be a walkout this year, maybe an 85 rated and that'll be our highest rated player. Yet, we have a four and a half star club. I think that is crazy. Now, this is of course not the news that we were hoping to hear because a lot of us were expecting to see ratings for like the top 100 or the top, as they mentioned on their website, 27 men's and women's players. But, EA said they're going to be releasing ratings all week. I guess they just started with the least exciting ratings for most of us, I guess, unless you're playing some head-to-head seasons or kickoff mode online with the lads. This is maybe not that of exciting of information for you. But, we await more fun FC 27 news soon. Now, hey, there's a huge demand for learning the FC 27 ratings of Ultimate Team cards because this tweet, which is a prediction, by the way, I think a lot of people missed that, predicted stats for the top 30 cards in FC 27. These are not real, these are predicted. There's an 88 Messi in here. I mean, Messi was an 86 and guys getting older like never get upgrades. So, that can't be true, right? Well, it's a prediction, but it's gotten 4.1 million views on X/Twitter. That's pretty crazy. We're going to hopefully start to learn official ratings today on FC 27 Ultimate Team cards. So, we're going to be keeping a close eye out for that. But, the rest of yesterday's content begins in objectives with another Footies Fun Run small Footies objective that gives us a Serge Gnabry card and some packs and SP, I think. It's nice to note that, you know, like EA normally do, I guess this isn't nice to note. It's nice to know there's more SP here in objectives for this. Of course, we're all trying to get level 30 for the FC 27 rewards that carry forward. Um, but it's nice to know there's SP in here. They're not giving up much XP out. Excuse me, to start off the beginning of the season. That's how EA do it, right? They slow slowly drip feed the SP right at the beginning and then they speed it up as we go further on in the season. So, if you feel like you're behind, like I got to level two, so I got that boost from the premium pass up to level six. I feel like I'm kind of ahead at the moment. If you feel like you're behind, don't feel that way. There's going to be a ton of SP to be able to get throughout the season pass to get level 30, especially as we get towards the end of the month. Now, yesterday's Evo content brought us a Anthony based Evo fidget spinner is what this one's called. It's a max 97 Evo boost for a passing, dribbling, little bit of a shooting boost as well on these max 97 cards, which is pretty nice. You're going up to 98 pass and 99 dribble on most cards. I mean, that's actually a plus one shooting boost for my Eriksen card as well. This is going to be best for somebody who is not lengthy, who is shorter, who is quicker with those left stick turning abilities. For a Bobby Charlton, 97 pass and 98 dribble is not bad. It does boost your overall up to 98, so that's maybe not the best of things, and it does not give you a play style plus up to five, but it is 75,000 coins for that big boost there. We did not get any cosmetics yesterday, like a new footies cosmetic. I guess we did get a couple of them, like a victory confetti and fireworks, but not a new footies cosmetic evolution. That would have been nice to see. However, in the store, this was one of the pieces of content that a lot of people were discussing yesterday. It cost 275,000 coins, but you can get a true 99 overall shooting boost for a max 96 striker, right wing, or left wing player. The sharpshooter Evo pack includes a 99 shooting evolution consumable. It gives a plus four overall to your card's rating up to 98. So, if you put a 93 into this, they'll only go to 97, but if you put a 94 or above, they will go up to 98 overall. So, 99 shooting is cool, uh, but that might be best placed on somebody who's already like 96-rated, 95-rated that just needs that 99 shooting boost to take them to almost max end game level. So, that's there for 275,000 coins. In SBCs, of course, we've got the big one that we'll discuss, but we have Cascarino Footies and we have Gravenberch Footies. And nice dynamic here for Gravenberch, decent card. I think the pace is a little bit low for this stage of the game, but it's definitely not terrible. And again, with the unlimited repeatable 85 by 10, everything is free in SBCs, everything. You can do all the player picks you want in terms of like the 95-pluses and stuff like that. You could do all the player SBCs you want right now because the the expiration date. This is out until the game is over. This is the end game grind that is here for the entirety of the rest of FC 26, which is fantastic. Now, this is the best grind in my opinion to do and it's all about being smart with how many SBCs you're doing because remember, we have SBC bans that are still a real thing. We can do 300 SBCs per day, per platform, 90 per hour. There's a way to get around a little bit, stuff like that, but it's 300 SBCs per day, basically. For most of us that are not switching console versions for playing PS4 then switching to PS5 or something like that. So, the way you want to go about this is opening as many 85 by 10s as you can cuz that gives you the best chances for the higher-rated Footies cards, which guys, the pack weight is still the same that it has been. It's not the greatest. I had a friend text me tonight that he packed a 99, so it is possible, but it's not great. I digress. It is just fun to rip packs unlimited on this screen this game. Now, the grind is all of your golds rated up to 86 overall should be instantly submitted into the 85 by 10. Don't be afraid to do 85 by 10s like this. I've got 78-rateds in my club here. They have nowhere else to go but this. Put in a couple of 86s that you're going to have tons of from doing 85 by 10s, and then all these 95 and 96 rated Footies cards that you're going to be packing on repeat, use them in these SBCs. Do not be afraid to submit SBCs like this at all. So, after you do a bunch of 85 by 10s and open those, you're going to have a whole bunch of gold cards. What you're going to do from that point is put the 87 to 90 rateds inside of the exchange SBC. This is going to give you a bunch of golds rated up to 88, but a lot of golds between like 84 and 80 that will help you do a large number of the 85 by 10s. This will get a bunch of gold cards into your club where you can also do some 85 plus player picks and some 80 plus times five with your rare golds and your common golds if you want to, but don't do too many of those. Just do most of these, and then after that, with your other high rateds that you picked, you pack like the 90s and above, you're going to want to do the 90 rated squads or this 94 plus greats of the game hero and icon pack because this is going to give you a guaranteed card that fits into the 85 plus times 10. Now, that's the pain point with the 85 by 10 grind. You're going to run out, as we expected, you're going to run out of team of the week, team of the season, festival of football, or Footies cards, and that's why every time you open an 85 by 10 and you see a Footies walkout animation like this, you get excited because first of all, it could be a 99, and second of all, that means you're packing somebody who can go boom straight back in to another 85 by 10. Wait, we got a double Footies here. That is phenomenal because both of those players can go straight back in to the 85 by 10. Again, don't be afraid of using high rateds. No team of the season or festival of football in there for me, but that is an okay 85 by 10. That is the grind right now. And then all of the extra cards that you get that are like 91, 92, 93, put those into other player SBCs. You'll have extra 87 to 89s even after doing some of the provisions packs, the exchange packs as we call them, you will have plenty of fodder to do whatever player SBCs that you want to do. So, it is fun and it is a much simpler grind, which I am a big fan of because guys, it was kind of annoying to have to think about doing you know, my gold common's going to this, my gold rare's going to this and all that sort of thing. It's basically the 85 by 10, it is the repeatable Footies exchange and then the icon pack to get yourself some of those Footies cards to turn back in to the 85 by 10. You could also do the team of the week SBC as well, but I wouldn't recommend doing as much of those. So, have fun with the grind. Rip as many packs as you can and maybe be a little careful as you use extensions, all right? We got to get into the banning conversation because we touched on it in yesterday's video, but we got to talk about it because it is blowing up on socials and it does pertain to where we are right now in this end game state. Here's the backstory. Two nights ago, all at the same time, a ton of people in the FC community got an email just like this that they were banned. And this isn't just like a market ban, this isn't just like, "Hey, you're getting a caution or this is a warning." No, this is like, "You're banned from all FC online access. Your account is toast. You are donezo." Like even for future FC titles, if you got a ban email two nights ago, this is like the red email color here, that means you're toast, right? And a lot of people saw this and thought right away, based on the wording of this ban and the reason that EA that EA is saying these people got banned, a lot of people are saying that it is because of third-party tools like Foot Genie and Pal Tools, that that is why people got banned, but that is not entirely the case. There was a whole bunch of tweets going out yesterday, "Do not use extensions for SBCs." Kind of creating this fear that the extensions and SB SBC completers that we know are against the rules are finally leading to people getting banned. However, I don't think that's entirely true because there was plenty of people yesterday as well or 2 days ago when these bands got handed out all at the same time, by the way. We'll talk about that in a second, that didn't even use web app tools. Here's Byron Boy95 who responded to my tweet about this yesterday. He said, "I got permabanned. Same message as Rick posted here and I haven't even used any of the web app tools. Just regular trading. So demotivating." Somebody else, and I said this in yesterday's video as well, commented under my tweet about this and they said they just got promoted to Division Rivals. They weren't even trading. They weren't using pale tools or Genie or any extensions to do SBCs and they just got banned right immediately after playing Division Rivals. That's why this almost seems like an EA mistake, like a flagging mistake. Their software somehow got tripped by something and then all of a sudden, you know, people got banned. There was one guy that said that he just updated his MSI Afterburner settings or drivers on PC and then boom, he got this email and he got banned. So, it is hard to know 100% at what is actually happening here. But with so many people getting banned at the exact same time, it feels like an EA mistake. But also at the same time when you read the verbiage of this, "Here's why people got banned. Using software or exploits to cheat at the game is against the rules. Cheating can include but isn't limited to tools, clients, game data, abusing in-game glitches or bugs." And I was looking up some other ban messages in the past and when people get banned for abusing like the no loss glitches and stuff like that, it's a different message from EA than this one. So, this is really confusing. It It's really confusing. But it seems since this stuff was happening all at the same time, that there is some sort of EA flagging mistake to this. Now guys, there is nothing good about this situation. I'll give my some of my thoughts personally about how I feel about the banning system, which is not a good thing. I don't think EA is doing a very good job at all with their banning system. They really never have. But, there's nothing good that comes of this situation, right? EA's system, as they said for doing SBCs, is so old. They have not kept up Wow, Claudio Pinna. With the times, right? And EA said that because they're creating a new SBC system this year, but the reason that we have these extensions and the reason that people have created FUT Genie and PAL tools and stuff like that, which by the way, FUT Genie has over 500,000 active users. And they have 3 million plus SBCs being completed per day. I would believe now this is like really going up even more than this because of the 85 by 10 and the grind there. The reason that these extensions are going so nuclear in the community is because SBCs are so behind the times and the community created a great product for us to actually catch up and to like do something and make SBCs that catch up with the times. However, they're against EA's rules. So, you have something that makes the game a better experience for everybody doing SBCs at a faster rate when you can't do them yourself or you don't have enough time to do them yourself, but it goes against EA's rules and a system that is old and behind and out of date. It's Nothing good is going to happen with this. You combine that with the way that EA's system bans people incorrectly all the time, which I do believe there's a lot of people here that were not deservedly banned. Now, you can say oh, they were using extensions, so they should be banned. Technically, by EA's rules, yes, but as EA also has said themselves, they have a system that is so old that is not working correctly with the times that people have created a good thing and even EA employees have allegedly said that they're using these extensions. So, this is just a really bad like whole situation as it is because you have people saying all the community did something good to make the game a better enjoyable game and they created extensions and then you have EA saying well those are against the rules. So you're mad at EA for a system that is old and then maybe you're saying all but mad at the community because people are using these extensions which gives them an unfair advantage. It's just a messy situation especially with how big these banning are these systems have gotten how popular the extensions have gotten. Now this is the part that really makes me mad and this is why I'm saying EA you got to communicate about this. They've never really said all our banning system has been a problem before, you know, they've never said our transfer market bans were wrong or like they never really come out and communicated about the banning system but they need to because people are saying they can transfer 10 million coins in a week without an issue. But on some accounts they do a bit of buying and selling and then they get market banned. That's the frustrating part the inconsistency with these banning systems whether we're talking about SBCs or whether we're talking about the market and stuff like that. They need to come out and they need to address this situation and they need to talk about it and then also they need to say if they're going to ban people for using third-party extensions then they need to come out and say we are going to do so because guys can you imagine can you imagine right now if EA banned everybody that used third-party extensions. I'd be cooked. So many people would be cooked because these extensions have become very very popular especially at this stage of the end game grind when they just make sense for us wanting to open packs on packs on packs with the SBC system being as cumbersome of it is as it is. EA would create the biggest revolt in FC history if they went out and started banning people for using pale tools and foot genie stuff like that right now. I don't think they're going to do that especially as the rumors have come out like we said that even some of their their are using some of these tools. So man, what do you do? What do you do right now? Here's my take. There's no way EA is going to be banning everybody for using the extensions. Pack weights already cooked. Like EA basically alluded to they didn't say word for word, but they alluded to it and that's why we feel like it's hard to pack a 99 cuz pack weights been cooked, SBCs nerfed and all that sort of thing. Keep using these tools that you want to use for this end game unless you are worried about losing your account. And I'm worried about losing my account a little bit. I'll be honest. But with how many people are still using tools and how many people did not get banned and also the weird timing of all these bans happening at once, I think something went awry here and normally what happens in these auto flagging mistakes is that EA just unbans everybody because there was a mistake, but they never communicate about it. And that's what I think is going to happen. So, I would continue to do SBCs as you normally do. If you're worried about that and you don't want to potentially get a ban, then don't use the the tools and stuff like that if you haven't been. Um and then if you haven't been using tools, maybe don't start. Uh you know, kind of just go whatever way you feel about this cuz there's really no easy way to say yes, do this or no, don't do this because I mean, I haven't been banned. A lot of people haven't been banned yet that have been using these tools. Uh but then a few have and we don't even know again if the tools are the reason. So, that's my yap and that's my frustration with the whole banning system. I really have a lot more to say about the market banning system for sure, but this one coming out um the these bans coming out recently about potentially the SBC system is just a really crazy thing. And like I said, there's just no good feeling about this. There's no nothing good in this situation. So, let me know your comments down below. Let me know your thoughts down below about this. And again, all we want guys is just to grind the end game SBCs. I'm going to quick sell these random cards here cuz I got so many of them. We just want to grind and we want to have fun and that grind is now here, but if in the back of our mind we have to think, "Oh, EA is going to be banning people because their SBC system is so old that they have to use extensions to get SBCs done. And to actually save people time, then you know, that's just frustrating. So, anyway guys, let's talk about today's content on Sunday where where of course we'll be crafting more 85 by 10s and more packs and stuff like that. The icon pack does not go away today. The icon player pick does. If you notice the 80 or 94 plus player pick that is for icons is going to be expiring today. We might get a new one. Probably not. Whole bunch of a reason to do that one unless you're really trying to pack a specific icon from great to the game or footies. Again, this is going away. It expires today on Sunday. I would imagine we're going to get a player SBC from this list of players. I'm talking probably a Manuel Neuer. That'd be my guess. That seems like a Sunday SBC kind of guy. Or maybe shoot, I don't know. Whoever we got from here yet. Da Costa as well. There's a couple of other FIFA legends in here that I'm definitely curious about seeing, but I'd have to guess Manuel Neuer for today. And then probably something in evolutions. That's what we would expect as well cuz we're getting the daily evolutions. And then guys, of course you know, we will be getting FC 27 ratings. And that was of course confirmed by the website that we talked about yesterday. I still can't believe EA started out yesterday by dropping the ratings of club ratings for men's and women's football. That was just kind of hilarious, but anyway guys, let's open one last 85 by 10 to finish off the video here. I still have not packed Zlatan Ibrahimovic. You know, there's some of those players that your club just seems to pack a lot more than others. That was a bad 85 by 10. But like I I cannot get this dude, Zlatan. He's got two cards in packs. Every time I see the team of the year animation, I think, "Ooh, we got a shot." It's never him, man. It's always Alex Morgan or it was Seeger last week. Thank goodness, I don't think Seeger's in packs this week. Yeah, I don't see her on this list. Thank goodness she is not because that's a troll avoided, but still now it's just going to be Alex Morgan or even like the Hullet instead of Ibra. And then the foot birthday Ibra, I can't even seem to pack him. So, I'm going to keep crafting SBCs. I deleted the Vitinha SBC yesterday. I'm thinking about deleting the Cannavaro SBC in a moment as well cuz I've got so much fodder, but it is truly the end game grind now and that is fun. It is, but just got to be careful out there with SBCs and uh the alleged bans. We'll try to keep on top of this whole situation. Um last thing I want to say is I don't think that everybody who got banned actually made a mistake. I should have said that earlier cuz I think it's the truth. That's why I feel like this is an auto flagging mistake because so many people in the in the comments below this tweet and below the tweets that I made about it, um like they're like, you know, I I didn't do anything. I didn't use tools even and they still got banned and EA hasn't been banning people for using tools for years. Why would they start right now? Anyway, that's a Sunday yap for me. If you guys enjoyed this one, drop a thumbs up on it. Comment down below if you have any questions and subscribe if you're new and I'll see you in a video tomorrow. It's been Native Account. See you there. Peace out.
