Dueling With YUGI MUTO Anime Cards In Master Duel! | Wheeled Anime Tournament EP16
Watch on YouTubeVideo summary
In this episode of the Wheeled Anime Tournament, host Yugi Moto competes against guest duelist Rex Raptor in a bracket-style match where both participants are restricted to using only cards featured in their respective Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series. The primary goal of the duel is not strict fairness but rather to demonstrate the effectiveness of these specific character-based decks when pitted directly against one another. Yugi constructs his strategy around the "Dawn of the Duel" era, utilizing a defensive lineup that includes Magnet Warriors, Silent Magicians ranging from level 0 to 7, Summon Skull, and the lock-down spell Marshmallow protected by Marshmallow Glasses. In contrast, Rex Raptor employs a powerful dinosaur-themed deck featuring monsters such as Gillisaurus, Saber-Saurus, Black Tyranno, Kaio-Terror, and Hornsaurus, supported by field spells like Seal of Oricalos to maintain board control.
The duel unfolds with Rex quickly establishing dominance through his dinosaur lineup and the protective effects of Seal of Oricalos, while Yugi struggles to build a sufficient defensive wall using Silent Swordsman and his Marshmallow strategy. Although Yugi attempts to stabilize the game by reviving monsters via Soul Rope and utilizing Gold Sarcophagus, he ultimately fails to overcome Rex's overwhelming attack points generated by the dinosaur monsters. This strategic disparity leads to Yugi's elimination from the tournament after a decisive 2-0 victory for Rex, highlighting the superior potency of the dinosaur deck against Yugi's specific anime-era tactics in this particular matchup.
Beyond the main duel, the episode also touches on other tournament developments, including an unexpected victory by Johnson using a Weevil deck that propels him into the winners' bracket and grants him a second chance in future rounds. The players engage in a discussion regarding the mechanics of their respective decks, noting that Yugi's strategy relies heavily on multiple specific cards working in unison, whereas Rex's approach utilizing Silver Callos is praised for its ability to significantly boost attack power without destroying special summons. These insights provide viewers with a deeper understanding of how different card pools and strategies interact within the constraints of using only anime-original or character-specific cards.
The host concludes the episode by outlining the matchups scheduled for round two, which will feature a mix of players utilizing both modern and older card pools, setting the stage for continued competitive play in the tournament. As the video wraps up, thanks are extended to the viewers and channel supporters for their engagement with the series. The segment serves as both a recap of the intense duel between Yugi and Rex and a preview of the evolving bracket, emphasizing the unique challenge and entertainment value of constructing decks strictly from anime history while maintaining high-level competitive standards.

In this series, I will be challenging a
fellow YouTuber to a duel with decks
used in the Yu-Gi-Oh anime. But this
time, the stakes are higher. I have
chosen 32 of the most famous characters
from the Yu-Gi-Oh anime and place them
in a March Madness style bracket. I will
spin a wheel to determine which
character I play, and the episode's
guest will take the other character from
the bracket. Then, each player will
build their decks using cards the
character used in the anime with a
couple of special additions. After each
deck is built, then we duel. Have you
ever wondered who would top a tournament
that included characters like Kaiba,
Zayn, and Pegasus? And was Yuki actually
the best duelist in Yu-Gi-Oh history?
Just watch the series and you will find
out. Okay guys, we are here with the
last episode of the first round of Wield
Anime Tournament. And I just want to
reiterate a little bit because every
time we do one of these episodes,
there's a lot of a lot of the comments
are complaining about fairness of the
decks or whatever. And I just want to
remind you guys that this series is not
really about myself and the uh guest
having fair decks. It's really about how
good were the anime decks. And a lot of
times in the if you compare anime deck
to anime deck, they're not that fair.
And that's kind of the idea. We want to
see the best deck. If you use all the
cards they use in the anime, no retrains
obviously, just the cards that are
listed. I currently use Yu-Gi-Oh Fandom
to look at all of the cards they use
because they compile it in a really nice
way. I'm actually going to show you guys
uh because I'm Yugioto today. There's
only two people left so we don't have to
spin the wheel today. Um because I'm
Yuimodto, I look at this. So because
he's a little different because he has
Yami Yugi and Yugioto. I'm just using
the Dawn of the Duel deck, but let's say
we're a normal character. They have all
the different decks they use throughout
the anime and all the cards that were in
their deck. I don't know if it's based
on what you see in their hand or
whatever, what actually gets played, but
I think it's just shown in the episodes
at some point. You can pick from all
these different things. Now, some of the
characters obviously only have like five
cards, but most of the characters in the
tournament are pretty popular
characters, so they have a lot of
options. Because I'm playing Yuimoto,
I'm only using his Dawn of the Duel deck
because that's the only time he duled
alone without the pharaoh. So, I'll pick
from these cards here. Now, can you use
one card? Can you use three cards? You
can use three of everything if you would
like to. The only limit I have is I tell
the guests, don't use like power cards
at three. So, pot of greed, graceful
charity, snatch deal, stuff like that.
Don't use any of those goat format
staples at three. Now, something like,
you know, Silent Magician or stuff like
that, that's all free game. You can play
those at three as long as you, you know,
don't play over 60 cards or whatever,
you can do that. So, I trying to balance
it there. There's a little bit of
discretion that comes with that. You
know, like what's a power card, what's
not. I'm not going to make a full list
of it, and there may be some variance
there. And it's the YouTube comments.
I'm sure people are going to be upset no
matter what we do, but I do want to
clarify that a little bit. Now, as I'm
talking about my deck, weirdly, Yugi,
this is a weird This is a weird deck
because he actually does not play Silent
Magician level eight. I I looked
everywhere. I'm like, he doesn't use
level eight. He uses level four, but he
doesn't use level eight. And I'm like,
okay, that's weird. So, there's Silent
Magician level zero, but he uses Silent
Magician zero. They're different
artworks. So, I think those are
different cards, so I didn't use those
either. Kind of weird. So, I'm like,
they might be the same card. Usually I
try to look at the artwork to make sure
it's the same card and make sure it's
the same name, etc. to make sure I'm not
using a retrain because a retrain would
be unfair or uh not allowed. So
basically, this is what I came up with.
We have the Magnet Warriors, regular
Magnet Wars, none of the the Deltas or
anything like that. We've got a
Valkyrion. We've got the ties of the
brethren to hit one of these guys, put
them all on the field, and then summon
Valkyion with his special summoning.
We've got uh the magnet reverse to bring
it back if it does get destroyed. We've
got his summon skull, which he plays
three marshmallon. This is a pretty
annoying card.
It's allowed at three. It's not a power
card. It's just annoying. So, we're
going to have three of these. We do have
one of the glasses to set up a little
bit of a lock to protect our guys so we
can then have time to summon the magnet
warriors or maybe do green gadget with
the stronghold. Then, we have the silent
swordsman level three that goes into
level five to level seven.
He does play all those. He plays silent
swordsman level zero one two three four
five six seven all those so kind of
weird but he does do that which of black
forest we have block man just another
way to tribute guys then we have his
Gandor the dragon of destruction which
is one of his ace monsters in this duel
then we've got the regular standard uh
staple cards you get we have the ties we
have the gold sarcophagus to get a card
out of our deck we have marshmallow and
glasses we have other staples we have
soul rope if something gets destroyed by
a card effect we can then bring a card
out of our deck magician circle actually
doesn't play that many spellcasters so
it's kind of hard to pull off But if we
do pull it off, we could get back this
or this from the graveyard, which is
pretty decent. Protect our guys with
magnet force and then three stronghold
to potentially attack directly. It's a
lot of like a lot of specific stuff, so
I don't know if we're going to be able
to pull this off, but I wanted to use
purely cards from Dawn of the Duel. So,
we're 100% using a Yukioto deck. I don't
really think his deck's very good,
though. So, it's going to be really hard
to pull this off. Yami Yugi has a lot
more options cuz he is combined with
Yu-Gi-Oh and he never really d I guess
he ds by himself against Yukioto but he
kind of has all the cards at his
disposal though a lot of them don't go
together that well either. So little
explanation of the rules cuz the
comments are always I mean in these
anime duels we do our absolute best to
make them anime uh accurate but there's
a lot of episodes out there and
sometimes even Yu-Gi-Oh fandom is a
little confusing or wrong and we might
mess something up. So we're doing our
best. Uh, I appreciate you guys enjoying
the series at least. And this will be
the last of the first uh round. I'm
really excited for the second round
because some of these matchups are going
to get crazy with some of the new anime
cards. And then I'm really excited
actually for the losers bracket with all
the terrible decks cuz you guys know I
like playing terrible decks. And uh
that's good. I'm playing Yukimoto today
because he has a pretty bad deck. So
here we go. Let's get into the duels.
See what's happening. Hello everyone. I
am TJs Anime. And if you can't tell by
my appearance, I am of course Rex
Raptor. Uh yeah, I know. Uh, this is the
only red beanie I own, and it's a wintry
one, so oh well. This is the only green
shirt I own. It's got flamingos on. This
is the only yellow t-shirt I own. It's
got the X-Men symbol on. There's a lot
going on here. It's also really hot, so
take that off for a little bit. So, uh,
this is my Rex Raptor deck. Uh, I'm
trying to play as much Rex Raptor
things. It's really hard because you
start turning into Tyrano Hasselbury
after a little while. Um, but I think
we've killed the bases. All the cards
that Rex played that were iconic to
Eddie King Rex. Ruby uh crawling dragon
number two. He didn't play sabasaurus,
but I needed he surprisingly Rex didn't
have that many spells and traps, so
there's a lot of wiggle room with cards
he didn't play. So, I threw Sabaurus in.
We play the OG, the true owner of the
Red Eyes Black Dragon. Uh, of course, is
Serpent Knight Dragon, which he won
uh for
coming second, I think, in that um
Japanese tournament when he lost to
Reevil, I think. Got some Gillosauruses.
Uh, we got some giant rexes, some
balloon lizards, black stgo. Uh, and
we've also got two cards, technically
three cards that are modern, but he
originally played them. Um, so these are
Kaio Terror. Uh, it's a very good card.
So, when this thing is summoned, you get
to add a polymerization from your deck,
and then you can use that polymerization
uh to fuse itself with another dinosaur
monster to summon another one of the
good modern cards. Hornsaurus. This can
attack directly on it special summoned.
You can place any field spell from your
deck in the field spell zone. So, we
have two choices. Either Jurassic World
or if we're being spicy, the seal of our
calos. And you might be saying, "Wait,
won't the seal of our calos destroy any
special summon monster when it's put on
the field?" Yes, but we're placing it on
the field, not activating it. So, we we
dodge that ability. So, I think it's
going to be really clutch. Uh, which of
course we use this during the wake in
the dragon's arc. Uh, and then the only
other card we have is Dragon Nails,
which Rex are used originally used on
Red Eyes Black Dragon. The modern day
version is very good. It can only go
into a dark monster, gain 600 attack,
and it also cannot be destroyed by
opponents card effects, which is very,
very good. And it does this uh this
graveyard ability if we can pull that
off. Um, but other than that, we've also
got some little tech cards like ultra
evolution pill, big evolution pill, tail
swipe, and a bunch of equip cards. It's
all about getting big beefy dinosaurs on
the field and ruining our opponent's
days. So yeah, uh that is the Rex Raptor
deck. Let's see how we do.
>> ALL RIGHT, REX, IT'S TIME TO TAKE ON THE
FINAL ROUND.
>> I'm here. I'm ready to go. Yioto, I will
destroy you.
>> The pharaoh took A DAY OFF, BUT I'm fine
alone, I think, with my cards that I use
that are not used by the pharaoh. Well,
usually not. [laughter]
>> Well, I am Where did I come? I'm like
the the second best Japanese finalist
ever or something. That's my claim to
fame. So,
>> you got a lot of qualifications there.
>> Can you do a a Rex Raptor voice? I
forget how he talks now. It's uh Oh,
I'll go
>> I'll go first, PLEASE.
>> AH, DINO DUEL. It's kind of like that
little raspy, you know, rumbly.
>> My ret.
>> Come on, Weevil.
>> My red eyes. No.
>> Yeah, [laughter] he It's tough. He has a
tough voice.
>> Okay. What does he What does he even
Okay, I'll wait till I see one of your
monsters before I
>> Okay, now.
>> Okay, second. That means I go first.
Yeah. Okay, I have to clarify every
time. I always get it wrong. That's
fine.
>> Well, it's just it seems simple, but
it's not. It just hurts your brain every
[laughter] time.
>> Right. I'll go first with my Oh, no.
That's the wrong character. My dino DNA.
I mean, uh [laughter] with my dinosaurs.
Um
>> wrong dino guy. Since you control no
monsters in your graveyard, I feel safe
in special summoning my I can never say
this monster's name right. Gillisaurus.
>> Gillosaurus. Oh no.
>> And now
>> free special summon. That's crazy.
>> Now this is uh kind of a modern card,
but it is a card that he played during
the uh Awaken the Dragons. I summon my
Kito Terror.
>> Oh, it's got text on it.
>> It does. So it does a bunch of things.
So, I can add a polymerization from my
deck to my hand.
>> So, I'll add polymerization.
>> That's pretty good.
>> Next, I'll activate it. My summoning
requirements are a Kito Terra and a
dinosaur or dragon monster.
>> I'll fuse my crawling dragon in my hand
with Kito Terra.
>> Crawling Dragon
>> to summon my very dinosaur soul
>> Hornsaurus.
>> Oh my god.
>> Now, this card is also kind of
modern-ish, but I also did play this
during the uh the wake of the dragons
arc. Uh, this when fusion summon lets me
place a field spell on the field. Oh no.
Uh
>> [laughter]
>> um
I think I need
>> This isn't looking good for us, Joey.
>> I'll place THE SEAL OF ORICAL. AND
YOU'LL NOTICE MY SPECIAL SUMMON MONSTERS
weren't destroyed because I didn't
activate the silver. I just placed it on
the field. I will also activate my uh
invigoration which increases the attack
of an earth monster by 400 points. Make
my Gillosaurus grow. I'll put one card
face down and end my turn. IT'S YOUR
MOVE, YUGI.
>> THAT WAS INSANE. [laughter]
Oh no. This isn't looking good for us,
Joey.
>> This is the power of dinosaurs.
>> Oh wow. That's a lot of attack points
over there. That's a lot of attack
points.
>> Well, if there's anyone that can get it
out, I'm sure you can, Yugi. But let's
see.
>> Oh no.
How do I defeat it? 2,300 Gillosaurus.
Oh no.
>> And remember this Kelkos, you must
attack the strongest monster on my field
since I control two attackition
monsters.
>> Oh, thanks for that reminder. Uh,
[laughter]
wait,
that's so bad.
That's so bad. [laughter]
And my hand is not not equipped for
this. I'll have to set a card face down
and in my turn. Could that be your giant
soldier of stone? Maybe
>> we're not off to a good start.
>> Draw. Oh, okay. Uh gosh, that was a
>> absolutely no restraint. So, I'm just
going to play everything. I'll normal
summon my balloon lizard
>> and it gets a a boost for my silver
barcus.
>> Uh
>> oh no.
>> Battle.
>> Oh no.
>> Gilosaurus destroy. I'm going to say
giant solder stone. No, I
>> alpha the magnet warrior.
>> What killed the magnets? The dinosaurs
go attack directly.
>> Oh no. Oh no.
>> This is not looking good.
>> One car face down. Back to you.
>> I am two face downs. This is unbeatable.
>> I don't know if I've dressed this yet to
the audience, but I just want to say if
you can see what I look like, I'm meant
to be dressed as raptor. This is what he
wears. [laughter]
I just look insane. This is the closest
thing to a green shirt I own. Close
thing to a yellow t-shirt. This closest
thing to a red hat. So, okay.
>> I like that.
Well, I guess we're going to try to do
something. I mean, uh I don't know that
it's going to work, but I'll activate my
monster reborn. Whoa.
>> I'll bring back Alpha the magnet
warrior.
He has many points.
>> But why? Its attack points are lower
than my monsters.
>> I'll have to do this tribute summon.
>> Silent swordsman level five.
>> It doesn't have enough points. Wait,
does it get stronger though?
>> Oh, I'm unaffected by spells, so I can
attack whoever I want.
>> You can.
>> So, I can choose to attack.
>> Oh, wow. You got my seal.
>> I can crash. That's not great. All
right. Uh, I guess I'll attack this and
do some damage.
>> I don't think you will. I'll play Magic
Cinder.
>> OH, [screaming] NO. RIGHT back at you.
Oh, I'm affected by trap cards.
[laughter]
>> Where's the pharaoh? I need his
assistance. I'll set a card face down to
protect myself. You're nothing without
the pharaoh. Yugi, it's the wrong voice.
Can't remember here.
>> Oh yeah, I do. [laughter] Oh, during my
standby phase, I get to place a balloon
counter on my balloon lizard.
>> Actually, it does. Oh, you
>> somebody's birthday party right now.
[laughter]
>> Um, how much how much how much damage
you need to do to win? 20 uh 22.
>> I'll switch my balloon lizard to defense
just in case that's a mirror force face
down. Uh go hornsaurus attack SILENT
SWORDSMAN.
>> NO.
>> And finally
Calos was so good.
>> Win me the door.
>> It was enough. I would silent swordsman
would have been enough to beat him
without it. That's crazy.
>> That was just power win me that door. I
don't know if we have to do that again,
but that was great.
>> I hope not. I hope not. [laughter]
Good game.
>> I drew a couple of uh a couple of I
won't say bricks cuz I'm I'm Yu-Gi-Oh. I
don't play bricks. But um
>> there's no pathetic.
>> Yeah, let's just say maybe uh they they
weren't the right situation this time.
>> Okay, game two. I hope it'll go better
for us, Joey. Joey's here with me. He's
hanging out trying to help me out.
>> What about T and Tristan? They there
too?
>> Uh yeah, we we did the friendship thing
on our hand.
>> Okay. Okay.
>> Wow. This is um
Wow. Okay. All right.
>> Are you going first, by the way?
>> I am. Pass it to me.
>> Back to you
>> so I can draw a card. And this card's
going to save me.
Okay. [laughter]
Now we're talking. We're cooking.
Uh I like it very much. I'm going to
summon my silent swordsman. Level four.
Nice.
And then
I'll defend my silent swordsman level
four.
And then I'll set a card and another
card and I'll pass.
>> Okay, that's a good first turn. That's a
very good first turn.
>> I'm protecting my silent Did I say
swordsman? Silent magician is what I
meant.
>> I feel like I heard magician. Oh, and
it's grown in strength. Is it each of my
draws? Each time your opponent draws a
card.
>> Okay. Uh, my only fun fact I know about
Silent Magician uh and Silent Swordsman
is they uh reflect Yugi's growth over
the course of the series. That's why
they get stronger kind of thing. That's
pretty cool.
>> That's my little bit of trivia.
>> Um, I can't do
>> I'm going to be growing throughout this
match after getting decimated in the
first one. [laughter]
>> H
I'll
set one card face down.
summon my crawling dragon number two to
the field. I'll also play my Jurassic
World.
>> Welcome to the land of dinosaurs.
>> You've got a lot of field spell cards.
>> I do. I do.
>> All right, I'll draw this card.
>> Oh,
now we're talking.
That's just what I was looking for. Pot
of greed.
>> That lets you draw two new cards.
>> And now I have two more cards.
And
uh yeah, that's all I need to do cuz my
magician is getting stronger every turn.
>> Okay, now you're too strong for me.
I have a lot of points.
I'll summon my giant Rex to the field,
which also gets a boost from my field
spell. That is bigger than my magician.
>> I'll end my turn.
>> That's a lot of points.
>> I can't hide behind your swords forever,
Yugi.
>> I don't have to cuz I have 2,000 attack
points. And I'll activate this gold
sarcophagus.
Will you seal?
>> Oh, this is a tough choice. Wow. I could
choose any card in my deck. This is
everything is free to me right now.
Let's go with
Do I want to try to do
What do I want to try to do is the
question. I think maybe I will maybe
I'll do this ties of the Brethren.
>> Ooh.
>> Oh,
>> you can be obelisk with that. I think
>> I can beat anybody. I'll attack this.
You'll be beating no one with my mirror
force.
>> Oh no, my silent magician.
>> I'll chain this card. You may have
destroyed my monster for now, but not
when I activate Soul Rope.
>> I'll pay a thousand to special summon
one level four monster from my deck.
>> It's back. Oh, from your deck.
>> From my deck, indeed. And I'm gonna
special summon.
This is actually I got a lot of options
here. [laughter]
I'm gonna special summon. Let's Let's
just special summon this. My witch of
the black forest in attack mode.
Interesting.
I'll set a card.
I'll pass.
This is your last turn with swords.
>> One more turn to defend my points.
Okay.
Um, do I do it now? Hold on. Let me
check my deck. What does my deck look
like? Okay. Oh, no.
>> I can wait to turn. I I I'm going to go
all out next turn. So, I hope uh you
have a plan for this one. I'll end my
turn for the final time.
>> That's not good at all.
>> I need something to beat these guys.
Huh?
Huh.
That's interesting.
>> You going to
>> That's very interesting.
Defense mode.
I'll pass.
Okay.
This
What have you got in your grave?
H
I reckon I
>> No, I'll play
polymerization.
>> Oh,
>> I'll fuse
my Kito Terror in my hand with my
Gillosaurus
>> to summon my Dinosaur Soul
Hornsaurus.
>> Okay,
>> I'll use Hornsaurus's effects.
>> He's a place of field spell from deck
during my phase. He has a normal summon
one.
Oh, he gets a he gets another summon as
well. M swarm the field.
>> I'm going to place my silver cocoos
again on the field. Going to take your
soul.
>> Oh gosh.
>> I'm going to equip it with the dragon
nails. Wait, is it a dragon? Does it
have to be on anything? Okay, thank god.
And go on a dinosaur or a dragon. Oh, a
dart monster. Okay.
>> Oh, [laughter]
>> and
calling dragon number two. So, we've
made a mistake. Uh, did you unkillable
by EFFECT MONSTERS? OH NO, I DIDN'T KNOW
HE PLAYED THAT. OH NO, DRAGON.
>> I SHOULD HAVE REVEALED IT. Special
ability. My dragon nails protects my
monster.
>> Oh, I know this from Duelist Kingdom
Conquest. Card's so [laughter] good.
Oh, okay. How are we going to stop this
thing? Cuz we can't kill it by card
effect. We have to kill it once and then
it comes back. It can come back after I
kill it. I'm going to have to defend my
life points.
>> Oh no. Marshmelon.
>> Uh,
>> in defense mode. That's really scary.
Actually,
I don't know. I'm going to get all the
marshmallon. Hold on. My turn.
>> I hope you won't.
>> What do I have in my deck? I have
anything that get rid of a marsh. Oh, I
do. Okay, I do. I do. I do.
>> 3,100 attack points, too.
>> Pure power. Stronger than the blue eyes
white dragon. That is.
>> We have to build up our plan. There are
ways to defeat it. There are ways to
defeat it. He just added a card that can
defeat.
>> I'm going to set a card and I'm going to
set another card
and I'm going to pass.
>> Okay,
>> draw.
Draw.
>> The dragon nails my nemesis.
>> Now I think we all know what that face
down card is.
>> What do you mean? You don't want to
attack it?
>> It's marshmallow. It's a marshmallow
face down.
>> Are you sure? I mean, you can't really
know unless you attack it.
It's true.
I
>> refuse. I I
>> You might want to double check.
>> There's no bamboozle there.
>> All right, I'll draw. Dang, that is
unfortunate.
Unfortunate.
Okay, there's a few cards we can get.
That is not any of them. Okay,
>> dragon nails. do not want to use that
card.
>> Oh, go on. Show me your card. I'll take
a,000 damage.
>> Yeah, I can't even like force this thing
or anything. Oh, yeah.
>> It's my marshmallon. Okay,
now that is something I needed you to
do.
>> Uh-oh.
Because now that you've done that, I can
use my special card, Marshmallon
glasses. [laughter] Oh no.
So now you can only attack Marshmallon.
Your opponent cannot target monsters
other than Marshmallon for attacks. And
that means you can't attack this silent
magician level four.
>> Oh dear.
>> And I will slowly grow in power. It'll
only take five turns, but hopefully
it'll be enough.
>> That is an incredible combo. Uh, I I
think I've seen this combo with Yummy
Bakura, but what Yami Bakora didn't have
in this store was a torrential tribute
face down on the field. [screaming]
>> Oh, wait. Am I
>> AND YOU'RE NOT IMMUNE TO EARTH. LET'S
GO, THOUGH. AND HE DOESN'T.
>> Oh my gosh.
>> This guy sent to the grave because his
equipment was destroyed by battle and
sent to the gravity.
>> Destroy by battle. YES. [screaming]
[laughter]
>> THE only way to defeat
The only way to defeat it so it cannot
be destroyed by your opponent's card
effects and then so you would think it
has to be by battle and then it comes
back but you destroyed it with your own
card effect. [laughter]
>> Wow. That was the only way though.
>> I was going to defeat that.
>> Rise from the murky depths, my monster.
>> No.
Come on.
>> What was his name? Hornsaurus.
Return to me.
Why is it back? [laughter]
No
>> battle.
>> Oh no.
>> Attack Yugi.
>> My life points. I thought I was free.
I'm not free.
>> All right. Fine.
>> It's not immortal
>> until I do this.
Okay. Okay. My silent magician was my
win condition over there. I have to set
a card in defense mode. Oh, wait. The
pharaoh's not here.
>> Oh, marshmallow. It stays on the field.
>> Hey,
>> it's Yeah, it's a continuous spell.
>> Oh,
>> not a not an equip.
>> I have a cool play, but it just doesn't
work because Rex's deck is kind of weird
with the cards that you need.
>> Uh, I will use my Hornosaurus to attack
your faceown monster.
>> You made a big mistake.
I have two. [laughter]
>> I love little marshmallow guys.
>> Okay, my ability to deal with your
marshmallows has gone from two cards in
my entire deck to just one last card
left in my deck.
>> Oh, no. There's one more. There's one
more. Okay,
>> I could I could possibly
>> That's what I like.
>> 1400 life points.
>> Um,
>> hello.
>> Okay. Well, I'm going to do this.
I'm going to summon
uh
Blockman in attack mode
and I'm going to pass.
You contribute this card. Special summon
tokens equal to the number of your
turns. This card has been faced upon the
field. Okay.
Oh no, I have to attack Marshmallon. No,
>> Marshmall's protected thanks to my
glasses.
>> It is. I can't do anything.
>> Yes, [laughter] my glasses are so
enticing. You just want to attack them.
>> My glasses.
>> My glasses. Speaking of glasses. Oh,
that's not too bad, actually. Okay,
defense mode.
Uh, okay. I'll summon this yellow
gadget.
I'll activate my effect to get a green
gadget to my hand.
And then I'll pass.
Could be a gear golem moving fortress
somewhere.
Interesting.
It's a very interesting card I've drawn.
>> Oh no.
>> It's just too soon.
Oh no.
>> Oh,
and my turn again. Back to you.
>> H interesting.
>> What big monster? I'll draw this card.
>> Got dark magician 2500 attack. How can
you attack over my hornsaurus? I wonder.
>> How can I? That's a great question. H.
Okay, let's do this. Says
turns the card has been face up on the
field. Okay, let's do this. This should
be two, right? Not one, I hope.
block token.
>> Is it three?
>> I don't know. Oh, it is three. Let's go.
Okay.
>> Nice.
>> That's very nice. And now I'll tribute
one for my summon skull.
>> Oh god, no.
>> 2500 points. Crash into this thing.
>> Destroy the sorus. Attack with yellow
gadget.
>> Good play.
And now my marshmallon will defend my
points while I attack with yellow
gadget.
>> That's really good.
>> You dealt with me. I'm a serious lack of
uh monsters in my hand.
>> But I do have something visual.
>> Oh no.
>> The field wiping card.
>> Oh no.
>> Dark hole.
>> No.
>> Wipe the field.
>> My monsters.
Oh no, Marshmall.
>> I'll set one card face down. Luckily, I
can't attack. End your turn.
>> Whoa, no monsters. Okay, that's that's
good for me.
All right, I'll draw this then.
Okay,
fine. My lock is gone, though. I don't
have a marshmallon anymore. Green
gadget, activate your effect.
And then I'll attack for 1,400 points.
>> Oh no, we're getting low.
>> Oh, weaken your life points.
Uh, I need to set a card or I have to
discard something. So, I'll set one.
Fill the entire door. I'm curious what
they are.
Oh. Oh. Uh. Oh, no. No.
>> Oh, no.
>> I'll normal summon my Urai.
Oh, that monster on its feet.
>> And I'll also equip it with
invigoration.
>> Oh, shoot.
>> That's a lot. That's a lot of points.
>> This isn't game. It's big bit of damage.
>> I'm so weak.
>> Gadget.
>> Oh, no.
>> Right. I'll end my turn.
>> This is not good.
I need to draw a card that will save me.
2400 attack points.
>> Dinosaurs, man. Powerful.
>> 2400 attack points.
>> Remember, whoever loses the stool loses
their soul.
>> Oh my gosh.
Oh my gosh. Let's try this stronghold.
The moving fortress.
>> Nice.
Defense mode,
stronghold, the moving fortress,
>> two of them things.
>> Defense mode. [laughter]
Um,
this is tough.
We're going to have to go for it.
I'll tribute summon both strongholds.
Gand Pandora, the dragon OF DESTRUCTION,
ACTIVATE YOUR EFFECT.
>> OH GOD,
>> it doesn't destroy the seal of order
because it's not destroyed once per
turn.
>> Uh,
>> fine. I'll attack
>> 1500
>> and then I'll set one two cards and end
my turn.
>> Right. Um,
oh yeah, does he die in the end phase? I
forgot about that.
>> It dies. Yes, it dies. Yeah, that's the
bad part.
>> Horror of the dinosaurs. Guide me. I
draw. Woohoo.
Now you have two faceowns. Maybe a KBO
in hand. I'm not sure. I'll summon Urai
to the field
>> with an open field. Attack Yugi Roxson
directly for game. WOOHOO. [screaming]
>> DINOSAURS.
THAT [laughter] invigoration was so
good. Oh my gosh.
GG. GG.
>> It's two to nothing. What are we going
to do, Joey? We might have to call the
pharaoh back and tell him to come back
to our time.
>> You just got to just believe in
yourself. You [laughter]
>> Oh, yeah. You're right, Joey. I forgot
about the heart of the cards. [laughter]
>> All right, I'll go first again.
>> Okay.
>> Dad gum it. I was so close to doing some
cool stuff.
>> That um that nails card is very good.
What would you have done to out my
monster if I kept that monster in the
field? A monster that called destroy
card effects.
>> But you could have outpowered it.
>> Oh well, I I guess I was going to I
would have torrential before you used
it.
>> Yeah.
>> Uh was what I was thinking, but then you
equipped it. I mean, you would have had
the card still. It actually kind of
worked out better cuz you blew yourself
up. But yeah, [laughter]
>> but uh yeah, I I was I was like, "Yeah,
you can normal summon on his effect, so
I'll just wait for you to do that and
then I'll get everybody." But I was
like, "Oh, wait, never mind. You're uh
you're kind of good without it." Oh,
wow. This is um Okay. All right. Green
Gadget. We'll start with that. That's
pretty good.
It's not Let's get a card.
Um let's set that
Um,
let's set that as well
and then pass.
Okay, my turn. I draw.
Um,
short wait. Sacrifice for long-term
gains or not? I wonder. This is old
school Yu-Gi-Oh. I'll survive. Uh, a
turn surely. I'll summon my Urb to the
field.
>> Urb. Okay,
>> I'll activate my big evolution pill.
>> Oh,
>> to activate his cardamomous tribute a
dinosaur. I'll tribute my big.
>> Now, while this card is on the field for
the next three turns, I can summon big
dinosaur monsters with tributes.
>> Oh no. [laughter]
>> I'll end my turn there.
>> Oh no. That's really bad. [laughter]
That's really bad. All right, let let me
draw a card. Oh, okay. Interesting.
Well, I'm going to before you get all
those big guys on the field, I'm going
to get my big guy on the field. Summon
Skull. Nice. And I'll attack for 2500
points.
>> That's a lot of damage.
>> All right.
And then I'll pass my turn.
Rex Raptor, you've gotten a lot better
since Duelist Kingdom.
>> Thank you. Thank [laughter] you.
>> Your summon skull is strong, Yugi Roxen,
but not stronger than the Black Pirano
to the fields.
>> Oh,
>> 2600.
>> Why did I read that as you have to wait
three turns to do this?
>> Oh, no. [laughter] No. I I' I've got
this power for three turns. Um,
>> that's not good.
>> Make my monster grow. Let's go back back
to the beginning.
>> Gosh.
>> Oh no.
>> Battle.
>> This is a lot of points.
>> Destroy your summon skull. Maybe.
>> No.
>> Nice.
>> Summon skull.
>> Now, don't think defending will keep you
safe. My black tyranno punishes you if
all your monsters are in defense mode.
>> Yeah.
Well, I mean, it says [clears throat] if
all only cards your opponent control to
defense position monsters, I have set
cards, so you can't actually do that.
Um,
so uh yeah, but anyways, I'll get
>> Yeah, it is true. Yeah, it doesn't it
counts set cards.
>> That's [laughter] crazy. That's That's
such a weird ruling. What the hell?
>> It's It's horrible. Yeah,
>> it is dead.
>> I had to get rid of it. Yeah, Draago's
the same way where it's like you think
you can attack if they're like face up.
I can't remember what their the thing
is, but it's very stupid. [laughter] Um,
speaking of stupid, I'll use this red
gadget. This will surely defeat
dinosaurs.
Okay. And now I'll attack you for a few
points.
Hello. Slowly whittling them away. And I
got to end that big evolution pills
time.
>> Big dinosaur would be nice to draw now.
Uh, I actually don't think I have
actually I think that's it. I think
that's my only big dinosaur. Everything
else is a dragon cuz Rex is weird.
>> Yeah, he plays like uh there's some of
those that are they're they're big
dinosaurs, but they're called dragons
for some reason.
>> I'll summon my two-headed king, Rex. I
think it's my ace monster.
>> Oh no. A powerful monster whose two
heads attack as one.
>> Destroy his machine.
>> Oh no.
>> Dare you use fossil fuels for power
>> on Dinosaur's bones. No, I'm being
punished.
>> It's my turn.
I'll draw this card.
Surely this will save me.
Uh,
[groaning]
I'll set this card face down and end my
turn. Okay,
the third end phase has occurred. My big
evolution pill destroys itself.
>> Yay.
Not that it matters, but
hello. Um,
>> where's your serpent knight dragon? Rex
raptor.
>> Uh, I did I put it in the deck? I think
I did. [laughter]
>> Oh, dude. I did. I do. I do have one in
here.
>> I think Joy's trying to take that one
from you. [laughter]
I may have uh a certain Joey card in my
deck as well.
>> Gosh. Sabersaurus.
>> Huge. I only got one of them in my deck.
Don't worry.
>> Sabersaurus
the goat
>> attack directly.
>> Nice. Nice.
>> My points are getting weak.
Now, after observing a few of your turns
with these set cards, are you playing
some very hypersp specific Yugi cards
that can only be activated in certain
situations?
>> I am, actually.
>> That's one thing I've learned about
Yugi's decks. Like,
>> no matter, [laughter]
>> especially when you do only
>> Yeah, only little Yugi's cards. So,
they're all super specific. [laughter]
>> Yes, I am using pull them off. It's
going to be close. It's
>> sick. Yeah, I definitely will pull them
off for sure.
>> Okay. Uh, I'll special summon my
Gillisaurus. Oh no, I've misplayed. Oh
no, you get to special.
>> Special summon.
>> Oh no,
>> I do.
>> If only. Wait, does it have to be in
defense mode?
>> I can bring back summon skull.
>> My summoned skull has revived from the
grave.
>> Oh.
>> Oh my. All part of our plan.
>> I just believed in the heart of THE
CARDS. NOW YOU HAVE A [screaming] FACE
UP monster to take your summoned skull.
>> I needed a monster face up and I knew
you'd fall for my bait if I s
>> Why am I a fiend? [laughter]
>> I'll activate this. If only I was a a a
rock or a machine. Wow, that was that
was a crazy uh that was crazy play right
there. Had a kind acting job in there.
That's nuts.
>> And I'm still not done. I'll tribute
your summoned skull and my Gillosaurus.
They're summoned. [laughter]
>> Pirant dragon.
>> Why would you tribute him there? He just
wanted to be on your field. Poor guy.
>> I don't want him.
>> Battle. Uh, wait. How does Sant Dragon's
effect work? During the battle phase, if
your opponent controls a monster after
this card's first attack, this card can
make a second attack. Okay, so that
won't work. Negot.
Never mind. I don't get two attacks.
Apple. Go Rex. Don't be marshmallow.
>> OH NO. WHERE'S MY marshmallow
[screaming]
>> and finally ty dragon?
[screaming]
[laughter]
NO. [screaming]
WOW. Yi just getting SW. Okay, we got to
do one more bonus round.
>> Okay.
>> Cuz you've already won, Rex. You've
moved on. But you got to be nice to
Yugi. You got to let him play one more
time. He's got some cool stuff he wants
to try.
>> Yeah. For honor, you need this win.
>> I believe
>> I got to um I got to summon Gandora.
That's my most claim to fame over here.
[laughter]
>> That was that was that was it. It wasn't
going to do anything. That one was like,
"Please just don't have a monster." That
was all [laughter] that was.
>> I never thought like let your opponent
special one from the grave effect would
be beneficial, but then with the snatch
deal it was good. Yeah, it's actually
kind of crazy.
>> Uh, first again for you.
>> Yes.
Okay, now now we're talking. We got a
hand this time. All right, we we got we
got some good cards.
Oh, okay. That's cool.
That's very cool. Okay, I'm going to do
this and I'm going to pass.
>> Hey,
>> that's an exciting hand for me setting
one card.
>> I drove.
>> But it could turn into something. That's
what [music] really matters.
>> Okay. Uh I'll start with the biggest
level four monster I have in my deck,
the giant rex.
>> I think what I've learned in this series
is like if you have a lot of like really
big attack normal summons, it's usually
works out pretty good.
>> Unless they have marshmallow, but
usually. Yeah. Yeah. [laughter]
>> Power is everything. Maybe Kaiba was
right. You need to prove uh
>> I think Kaiba might have been right.
>> We're going to see if Kaiba wins the
tournament or not. Or you know, somebody
Oh, come on.
So close. All right, let's see.
Can you beat my marshmallow? That is
that is a great question. I'll set a
card currently. No.
Drop.
Hello. If you want to play defensive,
then maybe so can I. I'll summon my
balloon lizard.
>> Oh.
>> Uh, that's all I'll do with it. I'll
spend my turn there.
Balloon lizard. A
All right, then I'll draw this card.
Okay, interesting.
>> Balloon lizard.
>> I'll do this. Beta the magnet warrior
battle. Attack the lizard.
>> In my mind, uh, you didn't attack it.
[laughter]
Didn't I didn't do any damage either.
>> And then I'll activate these glasses
right here. Oh god, no.
>> Yes, the combo is back. All right, I'll
set this card and I'll pass.
>> Okay, my turn. Big draw. Huge.
Okay. Um,
wait. While marshmallow is in your
opponent's, your opponent can't target
monsters of the marsh for attacks. Very
well. I'll normal summon my Kaio Terror.
You may
remember this.
>> Don't do that. Don't do that. Don't do
that. Don't do that.
>> Okay. I'm going to use this ability to
add a polymerization from my deck to the
hand.
>> That's pretty sick.
>> I'm going to activate that
polymerization.
>> You don't need to activate that.
>> I do. I do.
>> I promise you don't need to activate
that.
>> I do actually have one other fusion
monster in my deck, which I haven't
summoned, which is uh Brachio Radius,
two-headed king Rex, and Crawling Dragon
number two.
>> Vanilla Fusion.
>> Yeah. Does he even have any attack? Oh,
2200 attack. It's not
>> awful. Not horrible. I mean, it's barely
more than most of your monsters, but
[laughter]
>> I'll summon my very soul, Hornosaurus.
>> Oh, no.
>> Now, uh, when this is fusion summon, I
can place
spell from my deck.
>> Pretty good.
>> I want your soul for the final time.
I'll place the Silvar Calust. My monster
isn't destroyed. Silver was placed.
>> Uh,
>> it has the same attack as giant Rex.
That's funny. [laughter]
Uh, I'll equip dragon nails again to my
Hornsaurus, making it incapable of being
destroyed.
>> Oh no.
>> And there's one final thing I didn't
mention. When Hornsaurus is special
summoned to the field just for this
turn, it can attack directly. No, it
can't. It has to attack that. No. I
thought because it said monsters and I
wasn't attacking the monster, I can
attack directly. Ow.
>> Nope. [laughter] Not with my glasses.
They're imp They're impervious. I never
saw this. Yeah. Okay. That's That
thing's pretty cool.
>> Do you have a Gandori in your hand?
>> Why?
>> It don't matter in phase.
>> I can't blow it up with dragon nails
anyway.
>> That's true. I see to not blow my own
monster this time.
>> You're safe. Oh, interesting.
All right.
I'm going to do this. Ties of the
brethren activate. Uhoh.
>> That could do it.
>> Summon my warriors.
>> Oh, that's definitely going to do it.
That's a That's an actual anime play.
>> Anime
activate.
Then I'll set a card. Unfortunately,
that's really it. That's all I'm doing.
But
>> I have all the magnet warriors.
>> I thought Terren
gave the first monster the attack of the
other two monsters. No. Oh,
>> that sounds like anime.
>> Oh, [laughter] no. That's um that's like
is it like battle fusion or something?
There is a That's what I thought that
card was. man.
>> No, it's not that good. It just summons
the other guys or well, it summons other
monsters with the same type attribute in
level.
>> Okay,
>> but not the same card.
>> I I don't want to do this now. I think I
have to. I play snatch steel to take
>> Marshmelon.
>> Oh no.
>> Oh,
>> does deal glasses work while Marshmallow
is in your monster zone? No.
Oh no,
you're taking my my marshmallow.
Oh no,
been snatched.
>> I'll use my horns's third ability.
>> Third.
>> Third ability.
>> Third ability. No, it is. You can tell
this is a more modern card. I get an
extra normal summon with a dinosaur.
>> Some my two-headed king Rex.
>> Oh boy. also summon.
>> No, I'll set base down. I'll set base
down. Wow. Battle.
>> This is not good for me.
>> Tossaurus attack. Bait the magnet
warrior.
>> No, my magnet warriors. It was so good
for about two seconds.
>> Destroy Gamma.
>> Ouch.
>> And finally, King Rex. Destroy.
>> No, my field. Where was your magnet
reverse or whatever it was called now?
But you needed it.
>> Yeah, magnet force. Yeah. Yeah.
Oh no,
you stole my marshmallow. This is
unfortunate.
>> Uh, but you do get 1,000 life points.
>> I get a,000 points.
Feel the wrath of my points. Okay,
fine. I'll
uh
This is not good. This is not good. This
is not good.
I'll activate this. Swords are revealing
light.
>> That does help me. It's not good. But at
least this is in face of defense.
>> A crap.
>> Hey, you must be careful.
>> 400 per turn. Well, snatch deal is
outpacing that right now, so we're good.
>> Okay.
my balloon0000 defense. How am I
supposed to beat that?
>> Want to attack, but I can't. Um, can't
attack.
>> I will tribute two monsters. Your
marshmallon and my
>> Oh, my life points.
>> To King Rex.
>> You don't want to get rid of the the
lizard?
>> No. And I'll set one card face down.
>> Tribute set.
>> Crazy, right?
Oh, a two tribute set, too. What in the
world? You got serpent knight dragon
down there.
>> Well done.
>> Interesting.
>> Green gadget
>> serpent knight dragon stats off by
heart.
>> Uh 2350 attack and I think it's I think
it wait defense is
for some reason I think it has 2400
defense.
Do you know what level it is as well?
>> I think it's it's definitely a two
tribute. So, it's it's level seven. I
think
>> you got every single one right. Well
done. I was very impressed with the
attack. I actually would have remembered
that.
>> Yeah, I remember because I'm like, why
would you two tribute for a 2350? Like,
[laughter] like Red Eyes is already
questionable at 2400, but it's worse
than that.
It's got some defense, though. It's
pretty beefy.
I kind of want to.
No, no, no, no. I'll I'll end my turn.
Very well.
Very well. It's my turn.
Okay. Interesting.
I'll summon the red gadget and activate
my effect.
Deck thinning.
>> The only gadgets. I'll put a guy in
defense mode and I'll pass.
Good draw. Um,
my balloon dragon activates again.
>> No,
that's 1,200 damage.
>> End my turn again.
>> How many swords? Is that last one?
>> Yes, it is.
>> The last turn of my swords.
Oh no. [snorts]
Oh yeah. Uh, okay.
I'll summon yellow gadget and I'll flip
up stronghold the moving fortress
in attack mode. Oh, in defense mode. I
forgot I have start in defense mode.
That's lame.
>> Oh, is that foot? [laughter]
>> That's a shame.
>> That kind of kind of sucks. I probably
should have done that in the end phase.
Okay.
>> Yeah,
>> I'll do this.
Oh,
>> except I have to take a lot of damage.
So, I don't know if that works.
[laughter]
>> What?
>> God damn it. I
>> summoned him.
>> OH, NO.
>> YOU'RE ACTING. You You You're
bamboozling me. You've done that for a
reason. You have to have
>> Oh, no.
>> Stronghold's in defense and Marshmall's
in attack.
>> You're You're doing something. I don't
know what it is. Why would you
[laughter] invite me to attack you like
that? This is even like Super Mind games
or you have misplayed. I don't think you
have. [laughter]
[gasps]
>> I'm going to play
>> Marshmallon. It attack.
>> Tail swipe.
>> What the
>> I control a level five or higher
dinosaur. I can return two monsters on
the field back to the hand at lower
levels.
>> Oh no. Wait.
>> No.
No. Don't trust your marshmallon. I
don't really want to have it back again,
though.
What did you put an attack? Take the
stronghold back, I guess.
>> No, my stronghold
>> and the marshmallon.
>> No, my marshmallow.
And then I'll use the effect of horns.
>> Oh, wow. That's every turn. I I forgot
about that.
>> Crazy strong. Summon my crawling dragon
number two.
>> Okay. And then I will normal summon by
tributing my crawling dragon number two
and my giant Rex
>> Pyrant Dragon.
>> Oh my gosh. And then I'll serpent night
dragon.
>> The serpent knight dragon.
>> I guess I'll switch balloon lizard into
attack [laughter]
>> battle.
>> You could crash and get a lot of damage.
>> I could I
Wait, what's that first? I'll go uh tant
dragon attack red gadget. Oh, you get to
attack twice. Oh my goodness.
>> Tyrant dragon attacks again.
>> No.
>> And then balloon lizard destroy green
gadget.
>> Oh no.
>> And then
>> not serpent knight.
>> Serpent knight dragon. [screaming]
[laughter]
>> I have to know. What was the marshmallon
into attack mode? Was that a play?
>> It was nothing.
I didn't I didn't have anything. So, it
was like you were going to kill
everybody anyway. I could have just I
guess I could have just sat on it, but I
was like, let's just do something weird.
[laughter]
>> It works.
>> Oh my goodness. No, Yugi. Not even a
single win. Disrespected by me. Oh wow.
Rex Raptor. Okay. I mean, he he's got
some good dinosaurs out there. It's he
might actually be a decent contender.
There's some really good decks on some
of the anime characters, so I don't know
if he'll be like one of the best, but
he's definitely above average. I think
just having those normal vanillaas and
like that fusion guy is pretty good just
to like get the dinosaur stuff going.
>> That that fusion it it does so much.
It's quite surprising. Like my deck I
get kind of revolves around it. And I
quite like having the silver calos in
there. The fact that it can put on the
field like cheese it out without
destroying my special summon monsters as
well.
>> Really good. I didn't play Silvore Calos
when I played Mai and then I faced uh
[music] I don't remember who I faced but
I faced somebody that had a lot of it
might have been Tyrano I don't remember
someone with a lot of attack points and
so I kept losing all the battles I'm
like Silvore Calos would have been crazy
in this just at 500 attack like this
would be so good and then you just put
it on the field for free like with your
guys so your guys are always 500 more
attack which is pretty insane
>> great great stuff I feel like the only
naughty cards I had was uh was dragon
nails like unable to be destroyed but
you can outpower it I Yes, great way to
get rid of the monster. And there's
other forms of removal.
>> I mean, I had Valkyion and I really
wanted to get him out, but it was so
it's so hard. Like even with Ties of the
Brethren, you got to have him and a
Magnet Warrior and Ties of the Brethren.
And then you don't get to conduct your
battle phase the first time with Ties of
the Brethren. So, you got to wait a
whole turn, hope he survives. And that
last game, I had Magnet Reverse, too.
So, I was like, if I could just get
Valkyion, I could summon him, have Magna
Reverse back up, bring him back. You
know,
>> that would have been high. That's always
the problem with Yugi's decks. It's just
so much. You need so much together at
the same time and it's so hard to get
those cards together.
>> Yeah, his original cards. You need
literally like multiple cards to make
everything work, you know? So, yeah. I
mean, it it was it was fun, Yugi. It was
fun. But you're going to the losers
bracket now. So, [laughter]
>> and Rex moves on to the winner bracket.
>> Yeah. So, this was the last episode of
the first round. So, now the whole
winners bracket, we're going to put it
up on the screen. The whole winners
bracket is complete and the losers
bracket is complete. So the next round
there will be people getting fully
eliminated, people getting knocked down
to losers bracket, people moving on to
the third round at 2 and 0. So we'll
really get some crazy matchups with
those winner two and 0 winners cuz
there's some really really good decks
like that have like modern prints of
their cards that just came out like last
year or this year and that's like their
whole deck. So it's just all these
modern cards so they're super super
strong. And then there'll be somebody
that has zero modern cards like 100%
like I think uh Johnson won so he's
going to be the outlier. He's in the
winners's bracket. Literally was tribute
summon judge man was his best play and
somehow he won because he was playing
weevil and weevil had nobody nothing.
>> I was [laughter] going to say that's
crazy. I've done so many videos on
Johnson how terrible his deck is. But
the fact that he went well done. I mean
fair play to him. I hope he goes far. It
was it was a really funny uh episode
because both decks were so bad. So, it
was just like [laughter] really fun. It
was like we were playing the worst
possible cards. Yeah, it was it was
really good. Except now Johnson's going
to get absolutely probably destroyed.
But I I was like
>> he'll go he'll go all the way. I'll I'll
put money on that one.
>> Yeah. Everybody in the in the comments
were like, "Do not you better play
Johnson again. He needs another chance."
I was like, "All right, we're going to
give him another chance." So, he's going
to get another opportunity to shine at
some point. All right. Uh, you got
anything else uh going on you want to
mention before we go?
>> Uh, nothing too much at the moment, but
uh, thank you so much for bringing me
on. Had a had a great time. Uh, I
actually didn't know I liked Rex's deck
so much until today. It's It's really
grow. I I like it a lot.
>> I didn't either, but I Yeah, that's the
kind of deck I would like. You just put
big guy out there. You know, some of
them just get you polymerization, get
you an infusion guy. It's pretty cool.
So, uh, I was a fan. I actually think he
perfor he definitely performed better
than I expected. I thought he was going
to be kind of mid, but he was definitely
good. All right, guys. Thank you guys
for checking out this episode and we
will see you guys in the next episode
which will be round two of the wheel
anime tournament. I'm excited to see
who's get what the matchups are going to
be. I have no idea. I haven't really

some terrible ones that I'm sure you
guys will love. So, we'll see you guys
