Video summary

In this episode of the Wheeled Anime Tournament, the host challenges fellow YouTuber Ruxen to a high-stakes duel featuring decks constructed from cards used by famous characters in the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime. The tournament has progressed to the second round, where the host plays as Yami Bakura while Ruxen pilots the deck of Rex Raptor. Before the match begins, the host takes time to promote an upcoming live stream for the release of the "Magnificent Monsters" set, highlighting new full-art cards and a giveaway event on Whatnot. The duel itself is designed to be faithful to the anime's history, incorporating specific cards from Bakura's three major duels against Yugi in Duelist Kingdom, Battle City, and Millennium World, alongside staples like Destiny Board and Dark Sanctuary that define his villainous strategy. The battle between the two decks unfolds with a mix of strategic depth and chaotic moments typical of anime-style play. Ruxen's Rex Raptor deck relies heavily on dinosaur fusion monsters and the field spell Seal of Calcos to control the board, while Bakura utilizes Fiend Sanctuary and Ectoplasma to inflict massive damage over time. The duel is marked by several rule clarifications regarding cards like Balloon Lizard and Doomcalibur Knight, as well as discussions about which anime-era cards are legal under current tournament rules. Despite Ruxen's best efforts to protect his monsters using Torrential Tribute and setting traps, Bakura's relentless pressure eventually wears down the dinosaur duelist's life points through a series of coin flips and direct attacks. Ultimately, Yami Bakura emerges victorious in a hard-fought match that ends with Rex Raptor being sent to the losers bracket. The host expresses satisfaction that his primary goal was achieved: forcing Destiny Board to eliminate the opponent rather than simply winning by default. Both players reflect on the matchup, noting that while Bakura's deck is powerful and consistent, it requires precise play to avoid falling victim to its own traps or unfavorable coin tosses. Ruxen acknowledges that he made some mistakes, such as mismanaging his board state and failing to remove enough spells and traps, but credits the win to Bakura's superior consistency and the sheer power of his villainous toolkit. Following the conclusion of the match, the tournament bracket is updated, reducing the field from 32 to 16 participants for the next round. The host and Ruxen discuss the unique dynamics of their decks, with Ruxen joking about the inclusion of non-dinosaur monsters like Red-Eyes Bellowblade in his dinosaur-themed deck. They also promote each other's channels, encouraging viewers to follow both creators for more anime-focused content. The episode ends on a lighthearted note as they prepare for future matchups, emphasizing that the true enjoyment comes from the fun of playing these nostalgic decks rather than just winning.

In this series, I will be challenging a fellow YouTuber to a duel with decks used in the Yu-Gi-Oh anime. But this time, the stakes are higher. I have chosen 32 of the most famous characters from the Yu-Gi-Oh anime and place them in a March Madness style bracket. I will spin a wheel to determine which character I play, and the episode's guest will take the other character from the bracket. Then, each player will build their decks using cards the character used in the anime with a couple of special additions. After each deck is built, then we duel. Have you ever wondered who would top a tournament that included characters like Kaiba, Zayn, and Pegasus? And was Yuki actually the best duelist in Yu-Gi-Oh history? Just watch the series and you will find out. Hello everyone. Welcome back to the Wheeled Anime Tournament where we have reached the second round of the tournament after how many weeks? A very long time. But the good side is, well, the bad side and the good side. This this round will be just as long. So if you're in like a hurry to get to the end, sit back, relax, and grab your popcorn. The good side is it'll take just as long to get to the end. So, you got a lot more episodes coming up and there's a lot of exciting matchups which I kind of want to run through real quick just so we can see what is upcoming. We actually have Dimmitri versus Rex Raptor. Uh Dimmitri, he didn't he wasn't in the first round. Oh, yeah. This is Bakora. So, Bakora is facing Rex Raptor. Then, Attakus Rhodess versus Bannon Keith. Pegasus versus Chaz. Odon versus Sane Trudale. Ganley versus Johnson. It's actually Merrick versus Johnson. So, uh, that is going to be a rough one for Johnson trying to beat the Wing Dragon of Raw, trying to beat the, uh, the Egyptian god Slime using Judge Man, but everybody knows that Johnson's going to take the whole tournament, so it'll be no problem. Jesse Anderson, Spring King Jaden, Tyrano House, Duke Develin, Attakus Rhodess versus Stoka. Let's go to the losers bracket now. The battle of the Yugis. Yami Yugi versus Yuimoto, which by the way, I spelled wrong. I'm going to put Moto cuz I say Moto. It's actually not correct. But yeah, my bad. Uh, and for some reason you can't edit names. That's why Ganley and all those are still on there. They they have to stay that name. So I've disrespected Aora and how did I miss all the villains in the series? Raphael, Cyberdog, Zay. Then we have Paradox Bros. Strings, Bones, and Rick, Jaden, Yuki, and Weevil Underwood. Bastion Masawa and Axel. My Valentine, Ubell, and Chumley versus Adrian Gecko. There's going to be some pretty fire matchups in the losers bracket as well. So, these are going to happen and then losers from up here end up in the next round as well. So, you're going to see a lot of these in the losers bracket. Well, half of them exactly. And then these are going to move up and eventually we're going to get to a winner winner bracket. It's going to be crazy. There's going to be a lot of awesome stuff. So, I wanted you guys to see the bracket just cuz we haven't really updated it in a while, at least on the screen. Now, it's time to spin and see who will be facing each other in this episode. And I have to remind myself that make sure we make the most powerful possible decks for each one. We have to represent. And oh, we're starting with a losers bracket one. I get to play Rex. We just saw Rex, funny enough. But Rex wanted to make it back on the series. Rex Raptor. Except last time I had to play against Rex. This time I get to play Rex. I don't know why I thought Rex lost. I I don't know what that brain fart was that just happened. I get to face and then the winners bracket and I'm facing Bakura. So, this is going to be a winners bracket round. Broxen, get in the zone. Come on. You can't We can't let Rex Raptor down. Okay, Bakora does have some pretty cool cards. So, this should be a pretty fun matchup. I think two pretty powerful decks actually. A huge thank you to Ruxen for inviting me back on this series. Now, we are playing as Bakora, and we have a lot of different weird strategies that we can use as Yami Bakora. Yu-Gi-Oh! Dual Monsters is so funny because I've watched all eight shows. I think Yami Bakora is one of the greatest villains ever. I think Dual Monsters has the greatest villains ever. Yummy Marrick, Bakora, Pegasus, so many incredible villains. Uh, and I'm honored to be playing as one for this wheeled anime tournament. So, here is what we've got. We've got two portrait secret, which is a vanilla monster, but it is a fiend, which is important. We've got a Headless Knight. Not terrible stats for a level four. Two Maneater bugs which were used in that very first duel that Yami Bakora had against Yami Yugi as well as two morphing jars. If we're going first turn, I feel like these are kind of good monsters to set and they're just goofy cards. Well, really morphing jar is not as much maneater bug, but we've got those two cards from the first duel that Yami Bakor was in. Then we've got three of Sangen, a very very good searcher card. I've only got one Jougan the Spiritualist which is banned but was actually used by Bakora. You can discard one random card from your hand of the graveyard. Destroy all special summoned monsters on the field. So a pretty uh pretty crazy effect there. And then of course it's a floodgate. I don't really want to go into that. So we're running one. Doomcaliber Knight is so weird because when Yami Vakora played Doomcalibur Knight it was a vanilla 1900 1800. Now it's got an effect. I believe it became an effect monster in '05 in the OCG. I looked it up. So, this one's a little weird. This is a very, very good card. A 1900 1800 level four, but Yami Vakor did use it. So, we're running three of and the ace. We need three fiends in our graves. That's why we have some of those vanilla fiends. Dark necroy are only running two of her because I don't want to get uh bricky. We are running one dark coal, one reborn, one pot agreed. Two change of heart. Yami Makora did play Change of Heart against Yami Yugi. So, we are going to play two change of heart as well as a premature burial which Yami Makura also played. He played some pretty insane staples. We're going to play three Dark Sanctuary. I would love to get Ruxen to lose to Destiny Board. That is the big goal. It's not to win the best of five. It's to get him to lose to Destiny board. And of course, we have two destiny board traps and then one of each token I n. We've got the three dark sanctuaries. We've got ectopplasmmer. I think more of Jinszo from Yu-Gi-Oh GX when I think of Ectopplasma, but it was used by Yami Bakora. Two chain energy. One of my favorite cards. If you watch my streams, you know I love this card. I think it's hilarious. Was used by Yami Bakora. Not going to play three of them, but we have two of them in here. the Dark Door, which was famously used as a bit of an attack floodgate in the Battle City quarterfinals. So, you know, if we need to stall out Ruxen while we spell death or final in the TCG, uh, the Dark Door will help us do that. We're allowed a mirror force. We're allowed a torrential tribute and Zoma the Spirit. I believe this was a trap he used in the duel at the end of the show, Zoma the Spirit. Um, but we're running one of these. I mean, that's the Yamu Bakura deck. I really just want to hit final. It's kind of an amalgamation. It pays tribute to all three of his duels. The duel against Yami Yugi in Duelist Kingdom, the quarterfinal duel in Battle City, and the duel against Little Yugi in the Millennium World. So, I've kind of combined elements of those three duels into this deck. Huge thank you to Ruxen. And let's see how it goes. ALL RIGHT, WE'RE BACK WITH REX RAPTOR. That is not how he sounds, but I'm trying. Funny enough, we just played against this deck recently. And now, uh, you know, as someone who I research my own deck. I don't research every deck that I'm playing. I'm now realizing that when we faced Rex, there may have been some illegal cards. Now, this happens all the time in this series. It is a little bit confusing cuz we had wield anime turn world anime then anime tournament. The rules were a little different about what you're allowed to use. And um, I realized that I think we played against big evolution build. He only uses ultra evolution build, which sucks because you have to tribute a reptile and the only reptile we have is balloon lizard. So, we have to have Balloon Lizard tribute it, which kind of does combo with its effect that once it's it's tributed, though. So, I don't think it's destroyed. So, I actually think you don't get the effect. So, kind of a bad combo between those two cards. You balloon lizard, you have to tribute it off, so you don't get the effect to burn. And all of that to special summon a dinosaur, which by the way, our only highle dinosaur is Black Tyranner. Otherwise, we're just summoning a level four, which we could do easily. So, it's kind of a bad card. I'm also realizing that there was no Jurassic World by Rex Raptor. He never played it. I looked it up. No Jurassic World to be found. So, the only field spell we get is the S4 Calcos, which is better anyway. And it does still work with our Hornosaurus, which was the best card in this set. So, you basically use the Capta or whatever. Add the polymerization. And then you get to fusion into this guy with a Capta or plus one dinosaur dragon, and then he gets to put the field spell from the deck. So, that'll be seal of Calcos in this case. And without those other cards, he actually does not have many more than 40 cards. If it weren't for the extra six cards, he barely had over 40. So, we're using three of a lot of different things. Three uh King Rex. We're only using two Yurabi, three crawling dragon number two. We're using the Red Eyes, the Serbanite Dragon, two Gillosaurus because it's kind of bad if it's not turn one. Uh then three giant Rex, three balloon lizard because it's our only reptile. Not that it's really that good, but if we can get the Black Tyrano out, it's decent. Then the Tyrant Dragon. So, we have four two tribute monsters. kind of not awesome, but it's very cool. But it's going to be hard to summon those guys if we can actually pull them off. You know, you always got Monster Reborn. Then we have our dragon nails, which we can use with a few of these guys. A few of these guys. Dark monster. One, two, three, four, five. Those are our guys. So really, it has to be with the horns, which is pretty easy to get out there. I mean, I guess if we get red eyes or serpent knight dragon, it can protect them. The three soil or calos. He does have a bottomless trap hole. This was borderline. I'm like, can I use three of these? It is a staple. It's not as powerful as some of these other ones, but I considered it a staple, so I only played the one because we even limit to if they have multiple listed from their deck. So, I think that that's considered a staple as a bottomless trap hole. So, that's only going to be at one. But, interestingly enough, I was thinking this deck was going to be way better. And then I realized a few of the cards in the last time it was used were illegal according to the rules. So, I will not use them this time. Uh though Yukioto might have gotten this the the short straw. Just saying. Yukioto wasn't winning, but uh I did take them out for this episode. And this is the deck we're rocking for. Rex Raptor. I can't talk like him, but I I WILL TRY. IT'S TIME TO FACE THE BEST DINO DUELIST IN DUELIST KING. WELL, we're not in Duelist Kingdom, BUT I'VE BEEN TO DUELIST KINGDOM. REX RAPTOR. I'm ready. And and my fi destiny board deck is here to cause you to send you to the shadow realm, Rex. >> Oh no, THAT'S NOT GOOD. MY CAN I STILL CAN I STILL GO ON A date with you if I win or whatever the heck he was trying to do? What was what was he trying to do? Some stuff like that is like or get his cards back or something. I don't remember what the heck was going on with. I mean, in the original manga, my my said, "You can do whatever you want if you beat me in this uh you know, in this dag." That he didn't win. He didn't win. >> He didn't win. >> Yeah. >> He did not win. So, nothing crazy happened. All right. You got to pass it to me cuz I'm Rex and I get to go first. >> That's right. >> All right. Oh, wow. This is not a Okay. Please don't. Please don't. Don't do it. Okay. Good. We're good. We're good. I thought I was going to get in big trouble there. Okay. I get to use my new card because I'm a dino duelist. I got a recent print called Capta Terra. And this is going to add a polymerization for my deck to my hand. Oh no. It's pretty sick cuz now I can use it. Polymerization. And I'm going to make this card using my Capta and my Uabi with his swift feet. I'm going to summon Horned Saurus in attack mode. The hornsaurus wind summon. I can place a field spell from my deck or graveyard. Face up in my field zone. And guess what? I did you know that I did not play any dino field spells? You wasteland? I didn't play I didn't play anything but I DID PLAY THE SEAL OF ORICAL. And then do I want to do anything else? >> Oh man. Uh, I get attacked during the turn I'm summon, but it's turn one, so I can't really do much. So, uh, yeah. You know what? I'm chilling. Get rid of Hornsaurus. Okay, >> good luck. >> Okay, don't just remove him, please. I >> I SUMMON JIAOEN THE SPIRITUALIST. >> OH, WHAT? I've been special and by activating its effect, I send one card to the grave to destroy your fusion monster. >> I DID ALL of that. >> I also, Dude, I can't do a British accent, so this Bakora impersonation is rough, man. >> Hey, we've heard worse. Uh, like my Rexaptor. Uh oh. Oh, okay. Neither player can special summon monsters. You know what I can do? Capt. Oh no. And I can attack you for 1,700. Feel the wrath of my my card. And Okay. Okay. All right. Yeah. Sure. Yeah. My turn. I set a card and end my turn. >> Interesting. You're setting a card. You're running scared. You're running scared of my dinos. How about this one? ONE OF MY BEST CARDS from season one. Two-headed King Rex. All right, Vakoro. What kind of defense? You do have 2K defenders. I think you have the the the 500 attack to a,000 guy. So, I will attack with 21. Okay. Oh, no. What are you going to add? >> How many fiends you got? One. Two fiends. Okay. I got to watch out for dark necro. >> I have to think about this. Very interesting. Another Sandan. It's quite powerful. I'll do 1900 points. >> H. I have to do some quick math. >> Math? Oh no. Is there a dark hole over there? That's not good. And a monster reborn as well. Oh no. Don't you dare touch my horns or you're grounded. >> I set a card in defense mode and end my turn. >> Okay. Were you doing math for me then? Oh, wait, wait. Okay, you're setting cards. I got to be careful cuz if I destroy a fiend, you can dark necroar, which is why I won't destroy anything. I'll tribute SUMMON TWO OF MY DINOS FOR THIS ONE. BLACK TYRANO IN ATTACK MODE. >> OH NO. AND THEN I CAN ATTACK YOU DIRECTLY. 3,100 thanks to my special ability. >> Oh, that is bad. >> How you going to stop me? >> Got a lot of cards. So, I'm wondering what that is. >> I'm so upset because there I I had a chance to turn it around, but I I really set the wrong card. >> Yes. Would >> you like to crash into my black tyranno? >> No, I I don't think I'll be doing that. >> I don't think I'll be doing that. >> There's one epic play you could make to save yourself. >> Yeah, but I I >> Oh. Oh, no. I I I had a I had a chance, but it's not going to happen. Do you have any spells and traps in your hand? >> Um, I do. Yes. >> You if you set one, I don't think I can attack directly. >> Oh, if the >> because it counts as a card on the field. So, technically, you could set it and I think I'm pretty sure that's how this works. So, I would be stuck attacking your guys. >> Wow. Okay. Well, YOU KNOW WHAT? >> FYI, FOR FOR the other games, you could just set a spell and trap to foil Black Tyrano. >> That is so funny that it has a weakness that All right. Round one. I'm not worried about it. the shadow. >> That's how Drailago works. I'm not 100% on this one, but I'm pretty sure if if you just set a spell and trap, it would work. >> Yeah, you might be right because it says only cards. So, >> yeah, cards. It doesn't say monsters. So, you think that's how you think. It's like, "Oh, okay. So, if I have defense position, then I can't, you know, do anything." But then you're like, "Oh, wait. All cards count." >> Yeah. >> It's kind of weird, but >> that that is so weird. All right. The shadow game goes on. It's best of >> my dinos. Okay. Wait. Okay, I keep doing that, but okay. Uh, all right. What have you got over there, Bakula? I'm one of the finalists from the the World Championship or whatever. Or the national championship, >> the regionals, whatever the heck, whatever that was. >> It was something lame. He's like, I went to a locals and got second place. >> I know. He didn't even win. He didn't even win. >> Poor guy. He did his best, man. >> Yeah. Captain Terra, my best card. >> I hate this card. >> Ah, why would you hate him? He's so clutch. And you know why? He's about to be extra clutch when I activate polymerization. And I'll use So, this is really interesting. It's a It's such a weird card because it summons I guess it summons and then puts out Silvore Calcos, which then doesn't let me special summon the extra deck. So I can summon one of them basically. >> Yeah, that is weird. That is weird. >> So I mean that it it isn't really intended to use seal of Galos. It's just the only option he has. >> Right. Right. Yeah. >> So it's like Okay, >> that's so funny. >> Does this say Okay, it does say that. Uh do we go ahead and Do we care about that? Yeah, we kind of do care about that. All right, let's do this. Let's do hornsaurus attack into my maneater bug. Are you kidding me right now? MY ORANGEUS. MATT DEBUG destroys your fusion monster. No, he was so powerful for about two seconds. That was tragedy. Wow. Bakora, come on, man. You're supposed to eat Tristan with that. Now I summon Doomcalibur Knight. >> Oh my gosh, this is a weird one. weird one because he used Doomcur in the final duel against Little Yugi, but it was a vanilla when he used it, but it had the same stats 1918. Yeah. Then they made it an effect monster. Uh you >> That's a pull right there. That's a good card, too. >> It is a good card. Doomcur Knight, Direct Attack, and I end my turn. >> No. Uh okay. Well, he is he is in a gate, which is pretty annoying. Not not to worry though because he has to negate. Do I use my effect though? Do I just keep this on the field? Okay. If a monster effect is activated, but otherwise I have the same attack points. Okay, this kind of sucks. I truly >> The shadows are calling. >> Oh no. Uh I'll just hang out. I'm good. Everything to it. Nothing to see here. Oh no. >> But how will you deal with my Headless Knight? >> It's very powerful. >> I love how you is the worst card. Headless knight, >> right? And also I can't Well, you control I can't attack. That's because of seal, right? >> Why you got to more phase? It's has to do with you should be able to attack. Yeah, it's so weird. I can't I'm actually not 100% sure why I can't destroy >> destroy all. Okay. >> Oh no, it's the first part of Kite Kite of Terra. If your opponent controls two or more face up monsters, those monsters cannot target this card for attacks. >> I definitely knew that. That's why I left it face up. I knew it could do that. Yeah, that's actually so annoying. I didn't know it. >> Ah my kypo terror. I never, you know, I never have this on the field so I didn't read that part. >> Right. I'll attack your headless knight. >> Not my headless knight. >> Yes. Feel the wrath. Just wait till I control two or more face up monsters. The seal of Calcos will stop you. I have plenty of tricks up my sleeve. I activate Dark Hole, which destroys all monsters on the field. >> Well, that'll get rid of him. >> Oh no. >> And then I summon the dangerous portraits secret. Oh no. >> And attacked directly. >> Cursed by the artist. It was said to bring ill fortune to anyone who owns it. You own it. So, uh, bad news, buddy. >> Yeah, that's that's a really good point. No, no matter. >> Oh, boy. >> Oh, no. All right. The portrait. >> I summon another portrait secret. Oh my gosh. >> Double the curse. That That's a lot of points. I mean, they are whittling me down. I'm two This unfortunately is not two turns away. I one turn away. It is two turns cuz >> you have one turn left. >> 100 extra life points. Interesting. Okay, I have a monster and I will set it face down. It will have to defend me. It's not good enough, Rex. >> Will it be two tributes? >> I activate the trap with THE SPELL CARD. CHANGE OF HEART. >> And I'll take your balloon lizard. >> Not my balloon lizard. >> And now we'll battle. >> How could you do this to me? I have to use mirror force on this. >> It doesn't feel good, but I had to do it. Balloon lizard burn for zero. I activate my spell card, Dark Sanctuary. >> Oh no. >> I set a card and end my turn. >> Oh no. This is not good for me at all. >> Now this duel has really entered the shadow realm. Um yes it has. It has indeed. A fe or dark sanctuary. It says half if I miss the coin toss. Okay. and I'll give you a taste of more terrors of my deck. I summon Dark Necroar and attack. >> That's enough points to defeat me. I can't allow you to do that. >> Oh no. >> Dark Necraria. Goodbye. >> I activate Monster Reborn. >> No. And And I revive Dark Necroofar. >> Stop. You can't get out of the shadows that easily. >> Oh no, I have 300 points. >> Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Oh, let's do that. >> Farewell, my dark necro fear. Let's uh set this A necroia attack. I if I attack at all it's like fiend sanctuary. It's like uh oh I have 300 points. >> I end my turn. You live a little longer. >> I live a little longer. All right. I just have to win a lot of coin flips in a row. That's no problem. Oh, interesting. Okay. Okay. Your end is here. Sand. >> And I also summon I also use the spell ectopplasma. >> Oh no. >> And I don't need to attack. I end my turn and Ectolasma destroys the rest of your life points. >> My life points. >> OH NO. MY I LOST A DUEL. FINE. Game three. I forgot about Feed Sanctuary. I'm so scared now. >> Yeah. Right. Right. >> Oh no. Both of these decks can can do some fun stuff. >> Yeah. There's there's some that's why they're in the winners bracket. They got some some winners cards, you know. >> Absolutely. Yeah, cuz I' I've played some rough decks and I've seen your videos where where it's tough. You don't even have a chance at some of the decks. >> Well, we we did the um we did the the worst episode ever. The uh the Weevil and the Johnson, right? >> Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. >> That was the two worst decks, I think, that that played each other. >> Yes. Oh, boy. >> So, we're on the opposite end now. Now we got some good cards. >> Yes. Oh, interesting. Good luck defeating this. My crawling dragon number two. All right, that's it. Crawling dragon number two. It's funny that he's not crawling. >> He's not. No, he's very much. >> He's up on two legs. >> Yeah, correct. All right, let's go back. >> And why is it ABOUT HIS TEETH? OH, NO. >> I'm scared. I set a monster in defense position. >> Oh no. >> And I play the spell card, the dark door. This only allows you to attack with one monster per battle. >> That makes it easy. I didn't even want to attack this. I just won. That that'll work. That's all I need. Wow. Okay. So, Fiend Sanctuary, toss coin if you inflict damage. Okay. Blah blah. Dark Dora, one can attack per battle phase. Okay. What about Giant Rex? Is he allowed to be on the field? I activate my trap card. Destiny board. >> No. >> When finals once per turn. Oh no. I'm so screwed. >> WELL, I BETTER GET GOING. I'm going to attack. Don't don't don't don't don't. And that's all I can do. >> This is This is exactly what he did to Yugi in the Battle CITY QUARTER. >> NO. WHY IS THIS SO ANIME ACCURATE? >> NO. NO, I need my Yugi powers. Rex, no. The perfect counter to a guy with a bunch of big monsters. Don't let him attack. >> That's right. That's right. >> How do I get through all these monsters? Okay. Okay. All right. All right. All right. The shadows are approaching. Okay. Don't worry. We could play around this. Okay. We could play around this with my tyrant dragon. >> Oh no. If I can get this attack through. Please, please, please, please, please. Yes. S again. Oh, that kind of sucks. That kind of sucks. And I'll grab my maneater bug. >> Can you not do that? Uh, and then I'll ATTACK AGAIN BECAUSE IT SAYS ONLY one monster can attack. And I get a second attack, which I will use. And I will hit. I will hit. I'll hit. I'll hit. I'll hit. >> No, it didn't matter. It didn't matter. >> Oh no, I'm running out of time. Life points and destiny board time. Oh no. And the ghost of Dark Sanctuary >> floats around the board. Yeah, the the ghost the dark sanctuary. And just for fun, I'll some I'll I'll play ecto plasma. >> Oh no, I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH LIFE POINTS FOR THIS. >> REX, where is our heavy so Oh, what the You're burning me with morphing jar. Correct. Oh, all right. Uh, okay. You have two turns left, Dino boy. I'll do my best. I'll do this. And I will hit through fiend sanctuary like this. Yes. Oh, good start. Okay. And you do control a monster called a spear message in so I can attack again. And I will hit. I will hit. I WILL HIT. >> NO. >> LET'S GO. I got two dark sanctuary matter. >> How about this? Giant Rex to the field. >> Ectopplasma activate. >> Oh no, I have one final turn. >> One turn left. >> My Tyrant dragon is so clutch for this, BUT IT'S NOT CLUTCH ENOUGH. NO, I activate the spell change of heart. >> Why would you do that? >> You're right. I do like your tyrant dragon quite a lot. >> Why would you do that? I hope this destroys your your eye and an A. That'd be pretty epic. >> Dang it. >> Dang it. They're in attack mode. Give me some help here. >> Oh no. Ectopplasma. Does it Does it make you trip? >> IT DOES. OH MY GOD. I can't believe Oh, it doesn't work. It doesn't work. >> No, it doesn't work. Hope for two seconds. >> Oh my god, that scared the life out of me. >> I had a little tiny bit of hope. >> I was never scared. Dino boy, you have one final turn and with the dark door locked down, your fate will end in the shadow realm. >> Okay, what does this cannot be special summoned from the graveyard unless you tribute one dragon monster mean? Um, I guess if it's >> So, do you So, if I have a dragon monster and I tribute it, do I get to special summon it or do I have to use something that special summons it then tribute a dragon monster? >> Yeah, what a weird ruling. >> I've never read that part. >> This card cannot be special summoned from the graveyard unless you tribute. I guess if you have a turn where you tribute one dragon monster, then you can like use a monster reborn to special summon it from >> So weird. >> That is bizarre. Yeah, that's a weird Get a weird twoheaded king Rex attack. We'll hit this. Yes. For good time, for all time's sake, baby. Let's do a little bit of damage. Enjoy your puny little damage. And then I'll use ectopplasma. I just needed to hit a couple more time dragon hits. Okay, just one or two more. >> AND NOT THE L. Enjoy your time in the shadow realm. >> NO. >> Dark Necroia. >> Dark Necro sends you to the shadows. >> NO. I THOUGHT TYRANT Dragon was the way. I thought it was going to find me a way to negate that. >> I thought it was. And you know what? If you landed a few more attacks, you may have been able to do enough damage. All I had to do is land tails every time and I would have been fine. >> Yeah. Yeah. Two one. Two-1. >> You know, it's so funny because I said at and you'll see it in my deck profile at the start of this video. I said my one goal was not to win. It was to get that windcon off. And I'm so happy that I was able to get that off. >> You got it off. That's for sure. >> Oh no. Okay. Let's see if this hand can be enough for me. Give me a card that I need. One more loss and you're in the shadows permanently, Rex. >> I I'm not going to the shadows. I got second in my local tournament. I'll activate pot of greed. >> With moves like that, I understand why >> and then uh I guess I'll do this now since, you know, you're going to have a card in the graveyard at some point. No, wait, no. Do I want to do that? I guess I already clicked it. Gillosaurus special summon. And then I'll set a card. And then I'll set a card. Then I'll pass. I have 1,400 points. You better watch out. I activate the spell card pot of greed. >> Wow, that's quite powerful. >> Let me draw two cards from my deck. >> Can you draw all the spirit messages, please? All but one. >> I'll set some monsters and cards and end my turn. >> Very well. I'll draw something as well. H. Interesting choice by me. I'm going to do What could you have over there? You've got something set. You're Bakora. This is Headless Knight, Earthbound Spirit, all that stuff. Uh, fine. Giant Rex. I once again activate my trap, Destiny Board. I've opened with it again, and I activate another trap, Zelma, the Spirit. Okay, Zma. Huh. Okay. Uh if if this card is summoned this way is draw about and inflict damage equal to your opponent to the attack of the monster that destroyed it. Okay, >> it's a tricky card, Rex. >> Quite tricky indeed. All right, so I I'll take 1,400. It's kind of annoying. It's a lot of points, especially since uh you might burn me later. Oh, that's scary. >> I'm open with Sangen again. It's quite powerful. Quite powerful indeed. >> I'll add maneater bug to my hand once more. >> Man eater bug. H quite interesting. >> Will you be able to stop my destiny board combination this time? >> Uh I'm going to start giving counters. Balloon lizard with 500 points. Okay. Oh no, you've already got two. I've got three more. Three more left. It's all good. We can handle this. >> Oh no. You're setting a card. >> I'll set two more cards and end my turn without the dark door. This is tough. >> Could it be a man eat a bug is the question. >> I don't know. I will gain a counter. Huh? Okay. Tough. You set a new card. Got to think about this because you are putting me on a clock here. Well, let's do this just in case. That is like a mirror for us. We don't want to get exploded, you know. All right. Uh, you have 8,000 points. I really don't want to do this and lock myself out of extract, but I kind of have to. >> Oh, I forgot that was special summoned. That's unfortunate. >> Destroyed your own monster. >> I FORGOT HE GOT SPECIAL SUMMON. >> I've removed half my board. >> And giant Rex can't attack directly. So, I'll keep I'll let you keep the giant Rex. >> Oh no. Okay, >> time is running out. Rex, >> that was a really bad turn by me. Okay, I did it all wrong. We've added the end to the board. Big mistake. I have made a massive blunder. I activate the spell card. Monster Reborn. >> Oh no, you're bringing back my lizard. >> I hope that's my monster. I hope you remember what happened to Balloon Lizard. >> He was eviscerated. >> I also set a card and end my turn. Will you be able to break my defenses down in time? I don't know if I will or not, but I will attempt to. Uh, I got to do 7600. That's a lot of points. And you can't special summon Rex because of your seal of Orical goes. You've given in to the evil the evil of sealum. Banger piece. Banger piece of music. Absolute banger. Speaking of banger, balloon lizard to the field. And I'll activate Monster Reborn. Oh no. And I guess I'll bring back this my Gillosaurus that was sacrificed by me. >> He's got a lot of monsters on his field. >> A lot of monsters. Okay. Uh, let's do this. My own balloon lizard. No counters. >> Uh, >> let's redraw our hands. >> That's a lot of things. I don't like that at all. >> Not one bit. >> I don't like that one bit. Okay, I'm going to set one. Interesting. Uh, okay. That will have to do. And one of the cards I drew, ironically, the A in final. You have one turn left, Rex. >> One final turn. No, I'm so scared. >> I summon Headless Knight in attack mode >> and activate the trap torrential tribute. No, >> it destroys everything. >> Oh, AND THE SPELL SANCTUARY. That morphing jar was so good. And end my turn. That morphing jar was so clutch. Oh no. You have one turn left. >> Oh my gosh. How could this happen to me? All right, I'm going to attack for 2100. >> Now you have to deal with the Dark Sanctuary coin flip. >> I will hit Never mind. I will not hit this. No. And once again, you die to DESTINY BOARD. >> A MY DINOS. HOW COULD THEY LOSE? >> WOW. DUDE, Destiny board was unreal. >> I'm sorry, Rex. I'm sorry. I failed you. Destiny board just going off, dude. Left and right. >> Yeah, man. It clutched up. >> A >> That was Dude, that was a ton of fun. Ton of fun. >> But Bakora is the first to move on to how many how many are going to be left? 32. We're actually cutting it to 16. So there'll be the round of 16 >> deserved by one of the greatest villains in the franchise. >> Was sort of round of 16 because it lo Yeah. Yeah. Bakora. >> Yeah. >> Honestly, an incredible deck. Just like the monsters are a little weird, but spells and traps are pretty clutch. So, moving on to face. I don't know who yet, but Rex is going to get demoted to the losers bracket where he's going to have another chance. And I think he's going to redeem himself. He's going to go off crazy. Rex has some big dinos. I just think that uh he got unlucky with the coin flip. I think the coin flipped like six or seven times and I think you only won it twice. So like Rex just didn't have good he didn't have good luck with >> I also blew up my own monsters attacked the wrong people, you know. Yeah. All that good stuff. >> I didn't help Rex very much. I will say >> but but you know with Dark Sanctuary, I mean that Dark Sanctuary is pretty tough to deal with. start sanctuary and destiny board and I had the torrential tribute to get rid of it. So >> yeah, I don't feel as bad cuz you had the torrential. So >> yeah, >> I don't feel as bad. But >> I I got good I mean I started with Sangan every duel. Like I just opened with really good stuff every duel. >> You want to if you face Makor, you definitely want spell and trap removal. That is very helpful. I don't think I have any actually in my deck. I might have like one. >> Uh I think the >> No, I have no spell and trap removal. >> Okay. I was going to say if I didn't know if you had Harpy's duster or not cuz that'd be useful. Um, the only card I I really wanted to play Chain Energy. I love Chain Energy. Each player must pay 500 life points for a card in normal special set, but I I I didn't draw I have two of them in the deck. I didn't draw into him in any duel. >> He has all the annoying cards. >> Exactly. No, really. He really does. Yeah. And it fits his his character very well as that, you know, evil character. >> And it makes sense as he's got to get five uh Destiny board cards on there. So, it actually makes sense. >> Yes. Yeah. I can't believe I'm only running one of the dark door. I can't believe I was able to open with Dark Sanctuary, the Dark Door, and the Spirit Board Trap. >> That is literally the perfect trio. >> Yeah, >> cuz then it's literally five turns and it's like good luck. You got to attack five five different times. >> And if you don't have spell trap removal to your point, it's like it's impossible, >> man. I thought Tyron Dragon was going to come up and it was going to be like two attacks, one monster, it's going to be perfect. It almost was enough, but it wasn't >> not enough to beat the spirits. >> Yeah. Yeah. Rex's tyrant dragon. That is his on his dinosaur deck cuz he loves dragons for some reason at the same time. >> Right. Yeah, I know. I I That's crazy. He used that card. That's so funny. >> He also has red eyes and he has serpent dragon. Like why do you have three two tribute dragons in your deck, Rex? I thought you like dinos. >> I know. I guess back then they were like, "Ah, dragons, dinos." >> Yeah, they're pretty close. They look similar. You know, >> they like kind of both fly. Yeah. >> Funny. >> All right. Well, this was a lot of fun. You got anything going on you want to mention before we go? >> I don't. I just want to thank uh the great Ruxen. I want to thank you, my friend, for having me on. Once again, I I really appreciate it. Our last two matchups, I think I threeed you and then you threeed me. So, I'm happy this one was not a sweep. That way I can learn how to be good at Yu-Gi-Oh because I I got to do something. >> Yeah. I don't know if that'll teach you how to be good at Yu-Gi-Oh, but it's entertaining. So that's, you know, you'll be entertained. >> Have fun. Does that count? >> Yeah, you'll have fun. That's what matters. You play Yu-Gi-Oh, fun. >> Crap.
