Like, I promise you that. But if they were to meet somebody randomly off the street, you going to want to know, so what do you do for work? It's a lot that goes into it that it just start dropping people off. Number one, you have to own and control your IP, >> which mostly all podcasters do because you want to have a significant stake in your show and the business around your show. And that's the most important thing, guys. You have to have a business around your podcast. What is the business around your podcast? When I say business, what am I talking about? I'm talking about you have to build multiple revenue streams around your pod. You have to have a licensing deal with a platform, right? That's what Breakfast Club has with Netflix, right? That's what a lot of these shows have. They have licensing deals with these platforms. And then you got ads and you got sponsorships and you might be signed to a pod podcast network or you might BE >> OWNING >> A OWNER. OF A PODCAST NETWORK CALLED THE BLACK EFFECT. You got to have merch, right? You got to have live events. You got to have products. You got to have at least two or three of those things going >> around your podcast to really generate the revenue. Um, and most importantly, guys, cuz it's only like a few things that those two things I just named. And most importantly, you have to have a massive measurable audience reach. I think you know when I look at that when I think about it you say and we think about no black women on the list the only podcast hosted by a black woman currently with numbers like folks on that list. >> Y'all don't want to hear this but it's Candace Owens. >> I believe that though. >> Candace Owens numbers audio and video are massive. I was actually shocked Candace wasn't on that list. So maybe it's a I don't know. Maybe it's a disconnect in the business. I don't know. Are you I feel like brandwise people don't want to put her on a list because of what she's grown to represent. >> Sure. >> Even though Joe Rogan is a little testy. >> Sure. But it's not like Candace couldn't be selling merch. It's not like Candace couldn't be doing live events. It's not like Candace couldn't be having a subscriptionbased tier that I'm sure people would pay for. You understand what I'm saying? Like there's a lot of different ways for Candace Owens to monetize her podcast. Candace Owens audience is massive. Now listen, I'm only talking about numbers, guys. We're just talking math. >> When it comes to numbers, Candace Owens is through the roof. And I had to look up. I was thinking, I was like, damn, I feel like Michelle Obama, >> but so new though. I was shocked that Candace Owen wasn't on that list. Now, who do I think is going to be on the list in the future? Michelle Obama. But also with Michelle, she may not be taking on a lot of sponsors cuz she don't want to because she's Michelle Obama. Her she's not going to just have her brand attached to any old thing. ain't like she she ain't going to have Craig on there doing Bluetooth edge. You know what I'm saying? Right. Like there the only black woman led podcast I'm telling you that can compare to the podcast on this list is Candace. Candace only does better numbers than some of these people on this list. Yeah. >> So so that's that's where we have to start. You have to start with the audience. >> Yeah. Listen, in October 25, she was even higher at roughly 3.5 million downloads, ranking number one in that particular crossplatform metric. When you exclude her from list like this, you just make her bigger. Cuz now it's like, >> no, but the reason why that >> Nobody said, "Where's Candace Owens?" She got six crazy. She got 6.5 million subscribers and 1.49 billion lifetime views as of late July.
