Video summary
This September update from Patriot Prime Reviews begins with the host sharing his upcoming plans and personal milestones for the month. He is preparing to attend the West Virginia Comic and Toy Show on September 19th in Milton, where he will be selling toys and comics alongside his brother, a fellow dealer. Additionally, the host reveals that he has scheduled an appointment with a local tattoo artist for September 14th to get a new piece of art done in honor of someone special, though he promises not to disclose the design until after it is completed. These personal updates set the stage for a busy month filled with community events and creative projects.
The core of the video focuses on a significant haul of Transformers figures acquired through gifts from subscribers and recent purchases. The host expresses great excitement over receiving a Fortress Maximus, which he plans to upgrade with a DNA gun since it does not come with one out of the box. He also showcases new arrivals including a Gobots Baron von Joy, a Classics Bumblebee complete with a jet ski trailer, and a Cyberworld Scorpionok that features electronic eyes and a buzz saw. A major highlight is the acquisition of Swindle, which will finally allow him to complete his Bruticus figure, though he notes the bittersweet timing of receiving it just before Peter Cullen passed away.
Beyond the figures themselves, the host discusses his strategy for restoring and reviewing Generation One toys, specifically focusing on nautical bots like the Secons Snap Trap. He acquired a Big Bad Toy Store exclusive version to swap its green head with an original black one from another unit, intending to disassemble the turtle shell to make the modification. The update also covers his recent trip to Walmart, where he was pleasantly surprised to find well-stocked shelves featuring leader class figures like the Herald of Unicron and a repaint of Armada Megatron. Despite initially hesitating due to the high price tag, he decided to purchase the Megatron figure after seeing it in person and appreciating its connection to his favorite mold.
Looking ahead, the host outlines a realistic schedule for the rest of September, acknowledging that video production may be sparse around the middle of the month due to his wife's major surgery on the 25th and family visits next weekend. Despite these challenges, he remains committed to providing as many reviews and updates as possible to keep his audience entertained. He concludes by thanking his viewers for their continued support and encouraging them to like and subscribe for more content from Patriot Prime Reviews, ending with a promise to return with fresh Transformers news soon.

One of the things that I've decided I'm
going to start doing on this channel is
giving you a monthly update at the
beginning of each month of what I have
planned for the channel. You know,
upcoming videos, toy shows, stuff like
that. And since, hey, it's the first
week of September, now's a good time to
start. Uh, first off, if you notice
behind me, there is tote number three of
some goods that I am taking to the West
Virginia Comic and Toy Show September
19th in Milton, West Virginia. I'm going
to be there slinging some toys and
comics and helping my brother, who's a
big comic dealer and buyer and seller.
He's going to be there as well. So, I
figured, hey, it'll be some good
brotherto brother bonding. and we can
hang out with some fellow nerds. So, if
you're in the area September 19th, make
sure and stop by. It is free admission.
I know there's over 50 different vendors
that are going to be set up. Uh toys,
comics, geeky stuff, you name it, show
up. Another big thing I have planned for
the month that there will be a reveal of
is on the 14th I have an appointment
with a local tattoo artist and I'm going
to get a new tattoo right there. So,
when I'm doing reviews, you're going to
be seeing it and I'm not going to tell
you what it is just yet. You're going to
have to wait and see, but it's in honor
of someone.
Next up, uh let's get into a haul of
bots that I've acquired lately. You
probably saw the video that I did last
week where a subscriber was generous
enough to send me some funds to help buy
this awesome Fortress Maximus that I saw
at a local shop. I am so thrilled to
have him in my collection. I'm trying to
find some space for him. I'm thinking
after I clear out some of the stuff to
sell at the toy show, I will have a good
spot. I did just order the DNA upgrade
gun for him because he doesn't come with
a gun on his box art. He's wielding a
gun, but the toy doesn't come with a
gun. What the hell? So, anyway, that's
on the way. Hope to get that real soon.
All right, so moving on to some other
gifts that I've received from
subscribers from longtime subscriber
Jason. He sent me a Gobots Baron von
Joy. Now, he didn't come with a blaster,
but I went to eBay and found one pretty
cheap. So, I've got the Baron all
complete. We'll get a review of him up
pretty soon. Another longtime subscriber
of mine, Brad, just got me this a
Classics Bumblebee with a little jet ski
trailer right there. He saw my review of
Classics Optimus Prime and he said,
"Man, I've got to get you classic
Bumblebee." I had Bumblebee years ago.
He was the victim of the great 2012
purge. So, I am looking forward to
checking him out again.
What else? Oh, my buddy Bert the
Stormtrooper. He made some 3D printed
lightsaber clips for me. I've been
buying lightsabers recently. I've got
three back here in the corner, but now,
thanks to Bert, I can display these
somewhere on the wall. Uh, this box,
uh, what it is, I'm gonna open it up for
you. ordered it on eBay, just got in
today,
and it kind of coincides with another
review that I want to do real soon is I
want to review the generation one
secons. Um, reason being I'm kind of
getting into these nautical bots because
I also just recently bought a Beast Wars
um, depth charge and so messing around
with depth charge, I'm like, "Okay, now
I want to do the secons." Now, the
Secons I have are the Big Bad Toy Store
exclusive that came out gosh, it's
probably over 20ome years ago. And the
only thing that I really didn't like
about them is their Snap Trap. When you
transform him, this thing is sealed up
really good. When you transform Snap
Trap, if you're familiar with the
original generation one toys, Snap Trap
had a black head. The big bad toy store
version has an all green head. So, I
just I didn't like that. It blended in
too much with the rest of the figure.
So, I got this. What actually this is in
really good shape. I mean, it's just
snap trap without the weapons or
anything. And now there's a couple
decals that are misplaced. But the main
reason I want this is for that black
head. And I'm thinking I might be able
to take this all apart and swap out the
black head here for the green one that's
on my big bad toy store uh version. So
hopefully that should be an easy fix.
It's probably just screwed in right
there. I'm probably going to have to
take it whole turtle head apart.
Yeah, I cannot see in there at all. So
hey, I love taking G1's apart. It's not
my first rodeo and I've always loved his
little pom pom guns right there. And
they're sticking. So,
that's not working. But oh well. I just
want the head. All right. Where have I
left off? Okay.
Underneath this mess of boxes of box is
a birthday gift that my longtime
subscriber and friend Jeremy got me last
month. I just haven't showed it off yet,
but the Transformer Cyberworld
Scorpionok. He knows I am a huge
Scorpion fan. He found this for me and
said, "I don't know if you'd like it or
not, but here you go. Happy birthday."
Uh, I love it. It's Scorpionok. How cool
is it? I'm not sure. I don't think I'm
going to go diving into the cyber world
line, but I do like this Scorpionok. He
favors, what was it, the Energon
Scorpionok, where he turned into more of
a construction vehicle thing. I see he's
got a buzz saw right there. And I think
he's Oh, yeah. See that?
He's electronic.
That's appropriate for spooky season
coming up. So, there is Scorpion. Oh,
yeah. This guy's electronic, too. I got
the batteries for him. See if you can
hear him.
See eyes light up. You might not be able
to hear it on the phone, but yeah, he's
he's cool. All right, where are we?
Um, okay.
So, I had to buy some comic book bags
and uh cardboard backing and bought
those off Amazon. When I'm on Amazon, I
saw that they had tailgate available. I
decided to get Tailgate as well. So,
there he is. Age of the Primes Tailgate.
Couple days before I bought Tailgate, I
saw Joyide on Amazon, and he was
actually marked down to $24.99 instead
of 27.99. So, I jumped all over him.
This is a figure I wasn't sure I was
going to get because I'm I just I'm not
sure if I dig how they're going with the
whole Power Masters thing, but you know,
I haven't take you Yeah, I'm just
judging what I saw on the internet. I
need to take him out and review him and
we'll find out for sure. Then my buddy
Jeremy also got me a Swindle. I can
finally complete Bruticus. I actually
got Swindle the day before Peter Cullen
passed away. So, honestly, I kind of
forgot about Swindle. I haven't even
taken him out of the box yet, as you can
see. Eager to complete Bruticus. So, I
want to get him reviewed real soon. And
speaking of Bruticus, Toy Hacks just
released a huge update to their uh site,
including decals for Onslaught, and I
ordered those today. So, I cannot wait
for those to show up. Cannot wait to get
him opened up. And today I went to my
Walmart that usually doesn't have
nothing and was pleasantly surprised
was pleasantly surprised to see that
they are very well stocked. They even
had leader class figures. They had the
Herald of Unicron here. They had uh
Zerich, the Armada Megatron repaint.
They had probably six Swindles. um
Vector Prime and the Deluxes that was
has Cranics and Shershot and all those,
but I was really surprised to see these
leader class figures. Now, I have no
desire to get Zerk. Not familiar with
that character at all. Already have
Armada Megatron. [clears throat] Wasn't
going to get this guy because just
looking at him online, he didn't really
appeal to me. But after picking him up
in the store today, I'm looking at him.
I was like, "Okay, this is pretty
impressive." And I believe he is made
from the Megatronis mold, which I
absolutely love that figure. That was my
one of my top figures of that year. And
so I looked at him, I put him back down.
I'm like, "This guy's $55. I'm not
buying this today." I probably walked
four aisles down, did a U-turn, went
back, picked him up, figured, "What the
hell? Let's get this guy. He actually
looks really cool, so I cannot wait to
get him opened up and on the review
table as well." And I believe that is
it. So, I've got a nice selection of
bots to review this month. I'm going to
the toy show. Uh maybe a little sparse
with my videos around the middle of the
month because my wife has some major
surgery on the 25th. We're going for a
consultation on the 8th. We'll see how
that goes. Um and of course, I got the
toy show going on. Got family coming in
next weekend. And so I'm going to be
busy, but I'm going to try to get out as
many reviews and videos and as possible.
I got to keep you people entertained. So
anyway, that's it. I just wanted to go
over all the stuff I've got, all the
stuff I've got going on. Cannot wait to
show you the tattoo I'm getting. I'm
kind of going to dread it. The guy said,
"Oh, it should take probably about four
hours." But [clears throat] last time I
got a tattoo was in 2013, so it's been a
while. So anyway, that's the video,
guys. Uh, as usual, I appreciate each
and every one of you. Thank you all for
you your support. I cannot talk tonight.
It is late. I am tired. I need to go to
bed. But I want to do a quick video,
give you an update, let you know what's
going on. Guys, don't forget to like,
don't forget to subscribe, and make sure
