Okay, I'm going to give you a little
tour of uh the dorm that we're staying
in. And this is where it looks like. I
just came in from here. I'm on the
second floor, which is really the third,
but that's okay. Um, so I came to my
room which is 202
and you tap your key to go in and then
you come in
and then you put your key there. So
let's take a look and see what it looks
like um
in here.
So here is the entrance. This is the
hallway. Here is the bathroom and of
course it's very bathroomesque. You got
a little sink. You got your toilet
a radiator and the bedet.
And then
here is the shower which has u just a
nice little wand up there. So that's
good. You can reach everything you need
to reach.
Uh there's a bath mat like I guess so
you don't slip. But that looks pretty uh
pretty texturized. And then the floor
the floor bathroom. Okay. So here
we have
one wardrobe.
And as you can see there's several
drawers
and then a place to hang stuff. But you
can do I can put um suitcases there.
Then over here there's another wardrobe.
Has hangers
and uh a blanket. I don't know that I'll
need that. An extra pillow. So also a
place to put
suitcases and whatnot.
And then here's the room. There's a a
little door and he goes into the room.
There's a little study area,
a chair, there's a window that goes
right out onto the street,
bookshelf,
the little bed. Um, there's a little
nightstand over here
and a chair and another radiator and
that's all you need. So, very exciting,
a very nice, beautiful place. I've uh I
don't think you can open these windows.
I tried already and I couldn't figure
out how to do it, but you can open the
door if you want to and uh hear the
street noise.
Can't really see outside very much, but
Vatican is about two blocks on the other
side here. St. Peter's is about two
blocks uh this way. So, we're going to
go explore here in about an hour.
We just got here. It's noon 15,
12:15
um Rome time, which is about 5:00
uh in the States. Couple of photographs.
So
yeah,
very excited. Very nice place,
very clean. There's breakfast in the
morning, so everything we could possibly
need.
So there is an update. I just found this
switch uh by the windows here. And if
you do this, you notice that that opens
up. Oh my gosh. So
now you can enjoy sunlight.
You can see what's going on outside.
There's little shops
all up and down. There's people walking.
So, um,
the Vatican is, like I say, in this
direction down this street. So, um, we
get to see quite a bit. So, I'm glad I
played around and found that um
switch to lift the window and whatnot.
So,
you can see a good a good cross-section
of tourists and people walking around uh
here not too far from St. Peters. All
right, here at our place where we're
staying called the Dormas Vatican,
Dormas Romana.
