Welcome to JSA TV where we are covering the latest news trends and innovations live from Data Cloud USA here in beautiful downtown Austin. Joining me today is Ganesh Iyer, President of Keel Infrastructure. Thanks for joining us, Ganesh. >> Thank you. >> Very good to have you on the show. >> It's great to be here. >> Awesome. So let's dive right in. Um how is AI changing the way digital infrastructure is being designed, built, and operated? >> Yeah, I think, you know, when we use the term AI, there's multiple workloads that people are using. >> Yeah. >> So now what we're seeing is a lot more density in how the structures are being built. So we have to think about how we are doing everything from balancing the floor to the power, to the cooling with liquid cooling, depending on the workload that people are running. And so um the other complexity coming in is the types of chips that people are using. Sometimes they're using Nvidia, sometimes they're using Cerebras, sometimes they're using Google, sometimes they're using AMD and other providers. All of those require different things. So I would say now we're moving into much more flexibility. So you have dense density, flexibility, liquid cooling, and obviously, you know, um impacts of the community, environmental challenges. So it it's a really uh dynamic world that we're working through to go meet the different requirements that an AI workload might require. >> Definitely, definitely. All of those things come into factor and come into play when you guys are, you know, yeah, building out your your in digital infrastructure. So yeah, we totally get it. Um so how can digital infrastructure companies build trust and become better long-term partners with the communities that they're building in? >> You know, I I think the most important thing is we have to understand that we're going into a community. We're going to be there for decades, right? You're not going in for a year or 2 years. It's a anywhere from a 1 to 3 year build. Uh and then you're going to be there for 20, 25, 30 years. So, you need to be there early. You need to be honest and transparent like in any relationship. You need to listen as much as you talk and understand the challenges, the questions, the areas that they may have a piece of information that you need to give them another piece of information. You need to make sure that what we're building, we're actually going to be part of that community. We're hiring locally. We're helping the local businesses. We're training the people within the community. We're doing community agreements. We're giving back to schools. We're giving back to colleges. But, you also need to have a plan that not only are you there before the permits, you're after you're there during the construction. You're there afterwards. You're doing forums for the community. You're doing open houses. And [clears throat] you're transparent with what you're doing. I think data centers have been secretive, which causes a lot of concerns for people in the community. So, at Keel, one of the things that we do is we are out there before we do our first permit. We are doing open houses. We are doing community forums. We're not just meeting with politicians. We're not just meeting with school boards. We're meeting with people in the actual community. And that's helped us in many of the areas that we're developing. >> I think you guys are dead on and yeah, your approach going into communities, that sounds great. Um so, in one word, what factor will define the future of digital infrastructure in your opinion? >> I think I think the one word would be dynamic, right? It It is ever changing, right? And you have to be ready to go in and handle those things. And what's a problem today or what's a challenge today is not going to be the same challenge 2 years from now, right? And what gets higher, what gets lower. So, I think it's dynamic. >> That is so great. Yeah, awesome. Well, thank you Ganesh for coming on the show. It was so great to have you.
