DECORATING MY DREAM APARTMENT ✨ “cool girl” Pinterest aesthetic decor
Watch on YouTubeVideo summary
The video documents a dedicated effort to transform a newly moved-into apartment from an undecorated shell into a fully realized space with a distinct "cool girl" aesthetic. The creator acknowledges that despite moving in over six months ago, the apartment had remained largely unfinished due to life getting in the way and her tendency to prioritize other tasks. To overcome this procrastination, she takes decisive action by visiting IKEA to purchase simple white frames for wall art and browsing HomeSense for various decor items. A significant portion of the vlog is dedicated to her entry into "bridal era," where she showcases personalized wedding gifts sourced from Etsy, including a custom purse, clip-on veil, glasses, vanity case, and hairbrushes, highlighting how these sentimental items help make the daunting process of wedding planning more exciting.
A major focus of the decorating journey involves upgrading functional areas with style, particularly in the laundry room and living space. The creator installs a new shelving unit to maximize storage for household essentials like paper towels and toilet paper, while also solving the challenge of waste management by selecting a compact, pedal-operated garbage can that matches her Smeg appliances. In the living room, she refreshes the decor by swapping out old pillows for new dark brown ones and draping a heavy, soft chocolate-colored blanket over the couch to create a cohesive "brown on brown" look. She also unboxes heavy marble stone trays intended for the entryway console and tests a sleek, color-changing lamp in different corners of the room to improve mood lighting without adding clutter to the TV console area.
The video concludes with the creator expressing satisfaction with her progress while noting that the project is still ongoing as she continues to hunt for specific items like organizational bins for her closet and shelving unit. She shares her thoughts on various products found at HomeSense, such as a cheetah-print blanket and patterned storage containers, explaining her decision-making process regarding size, color, and return policies. Although some initial plans, like hanging a large photo print, require minor adjustments like trimming the image to fit the frame, she remains optimistic about the final result. The overarching theme is one of turning a chaotic, unfinished space into a curated home that reflects her personality, proving that consistent small steps can lead to significant aesthetic improvements even when perfection isn't immediately achieved.

>> Hello you guys. Welcome to my decorating
vlog. Our apartment has been at a
standstill for literally so long now or
at least it's felt like so long. We need
to get some decorating going so I'm at
IKEA and I'm going to do the whole nine
yards for decorating our apartment cuz I
feel like if I just don't take action,
nothing is going to happen. I can't
expect my apartment to just magically
decorate itself. You know what I mean?
And part of my goal moving into the new
place was let's actually decorate it and
make it really nice and actually curate
a vibe and an aesthetic. So that is the
goal for this vlog. I think this might
be like my last moving vlog in the
series. I know this is long awaited you
guys. I know it's long awaited, but
honestly like life gets in the way. Once
your place is like at a point where it's
like extremely livable, it's just not
decorated to how you'd like, it's easy
to just put it on the back burner so
it's literally just been on the back
burner. I'm at IKEA. I'm here to pick up
a couple frames for the wall art and I'm
just going to kind of browse and see
what they have. So step one, let's see
if they have frames and whatever and
we'll go from there. Just got to do the
damn thing cuz then in our townhouse I
didn't do the damn thing and that's why
it never got decorated to its full
potential. So this apartment I vowed to
myself that we're going to make it
happen. Joel doesn't care about the
decor choices at all. If it was up to
him, he would have nothing on the walls.
He doesn't care. He's a boy. You guys
know since last year just before we
moved in this apartment, I have been in
my bridal era. After a literal year of
being engaged, we are slowly dipping our
toes into wedding planning. I feel like
the reason why we put it off for so long
is because it seems so daunting from all
of the little details that you'd want to
have at your wedding, your bridal
shower, your bachelorette party. It's
just a lot to plan, a lot to think of, a
lot to buy and it just kind of
overwhelmed us. But we are now slowly
after a year of being engaged dipping
our toes into wedding planning. So, I
did reach out to a venue and we're going
to go tour it, which is so exciting.
It'll be our first tour, and I'm
obviously going to make a bunch of
wedding content once the time comes,
like planning and stuff, and take you
guys along that journey. One thing that
I realized is going to be so helpful
when it comes to buying little wedding
favors, like bridal party gifts, like
all of that kind of stuff, like
personalized items for the wedding, the
place to do that is Etsy, you guys. Ah,
I can't believe I'm saying this, but I
would love to thank Etsy for sponsoring
today's video. That is so insane to say
out loud. Getting me so excited for
wedding planning because they have so
many amazing wedding, bridal items on
there that you can totally customize and
personalize, and it's so cool. Star of
the show, the first thing that I got
from Etsy entering my bridal era is this
beautiful purse. It is so stunning. She
is gorgeous. This is going to be coming
everywhere with me for my bridal shower,
for my bachelorette trip. She's going to
be worn with all of my fits. Like this
is just so beautiful and dainty, and
then it says "Mrs." at the bottom. I got
that personalized on. How freaking cute,
and it's perfect to either get for
yourself for your own wedding or as a
gift. Like this is such a thoughtful,
beautiful gift that I'm sure any bride
would adore. Next thing that I got from
Etsy, you don't even know how excited I
am about this to wear this at like my
bridal shower and bachelorette trip,
this clip-on veil. And look at these
little details with the bows and the
pearls. I'm obsessed. Ah, you guys, I'm
in my bridal era. This is so cute. She's
in her bridal era, okay? How adorable.
Even especially with like an updo or
something, this is going to be out and
about on my bachelorette trip, busting
it down at the club or wherever we go. I
got this for such a reasonable price,
too, because I know veils can get so
expensive. I'm obsessed. Show you guys
up close here how beautiful it is. Next
thing I got from Etsy are these
customized glasses. These would be such
an amazing wedding gift if you're
attending a wedding soon or to even
customize for your own wedding. I got
them customized with my name and Joel's
name, so how freaking cute this is? Why
would make such a great wedding gift cuz
you can get it customized with the groom
and the bride's name. But how adorable?
The seller did such an amazing job. Came
with these little bows that I tied on
and it's just so beautiful. Next thing I
got is this customized makeup vanity
case. How adorable is it? It's such good
quality. I foresee myself getting these
for all of my bridesmaids, [music]
maid of honor for the bachelorette trip.
How fun would that be? This would also
be a great gift for the bride, but I got
it customized with my own name. How
cute? Open it up, it has little
compartments in it. I've attended a
couple weddings recently. I feel like a
customized gift is like the best gift
you can give cuz it's so sentimental and
Etsy has so many options for
customizable gifts and stuff. So this is
so adorable. Imagine this with all the
girls' names on it for my bridesmaids
and I'm going to be using this all the
time, but I'm going to save it for my
bachelorette trip. I got a will you be
my maid of honor card. How cute is this?
I completely customized it. It is so
cute. I picked out the color, font,
literally everything and it's so
gorgeous. I addressed this to my sister.
Once the time comes that I'm going to
ask all my bridesmaids, I will
definitely be getting them custom cards
as well. The more personalized I feel
like you make things, the better.
Speaking of gifts to give or things that
I'm thinking of putting in my
bridesmaids boxes are these hairbrushes
you guys. So I got one for myself first
and foremost to use during the
bachelorette trip and like on my wedding
day and stuff, but this would also be
such an amazing gift for my bridesmaid.
I got a customized white hairbrush with
my name on it. How gorgeous? This just
screams wedding. And then I also got one
with my sister's name on it. So I got
hers in like this really pretty like
emerald green and it's totally
customized. Such a thoughtful gift. And
last but not least, I got this lace head
scarf. I will put the photos that I saw
on Etsy that inspired me. I'm like, "Oh
my gosh, this would be so cute for a
from and Mrs. shoot like right before
the wedding. How gorgeous is this?
Beautiful. I am just obsessed with this.
She kind of I'm pretty sure how to tie
it like this like at this moment. I need
to obviously tie this properly, but you
get the point. And I just feel like it
is so versatile and can be used for so
many beautiful things. Like look at
that. Even got some notes from some of
the sellers. How thoughtful and cute is
this? I'm already having so much fun on
Etsy for my wedding era and for buying
people wedding gifts. Etsy literally has
everything. And if you guys want to shop
any of the bridal products that I just
showed, obviously they will all be
linked in my description. As daunting as
wedding planning is, Etsy is making it
so exciting for me to like go pick out
and customize a bunch of adorable cute
things where I don't have to go shop on
different websites. I can do it all on
there. Thank you so much to Etsy for
sponsoring today's video. Once again,
I'm so grateful and don't forget to shop
everything down below.
Cannot wait to bring you guys along all
the wedding planning content.

>> Here is the frame section. I just got to
find exactly what I want cuz these are
as you could see a little bit more
decorative, but I think I'm just going
to go for like the literal white basic
frame because I don't need anything more
than that. This one is super cheap.
Let's see if I can find a little bit of
a better one.
Okay, here they are. These are my
favorite frames. They're just super
simple basic, $25, which isn't horrible,
but I feel like they're really good
quality. So, I'm just going to check
around to see if there's anything else,
but I feel like I'm going to get these
white ones cuz I love the aesthetic of a
white frame, especially for like an
apartment and the way that I want to
decorate it. I already have a black one.
I'm going to make a picture for my black
one, but I think for what I have right
now, I'm going to do white.
>> [music]
[music]
>> Okay, so I got three 50 by 70 cm and
then one 41 by 51 for the bathroom, bit
smaller. I just got the photos, one of
the photos printed. It looks amazing. I
got this print off of Etsy by the way,
so I will link it down below, but look
at how nice it is. So, let's frame it.
It's going to go in this white frame
that I bought today from IKEA. All
right, let me just move things around a
little bit. I'm actually very impressed
by the quality. I'm pretty sure London
Drugs is a Canadian brand. If you're in
the States, you can always get it
printed at like I've heard Walgreens
does it, Walmart, anywhere where there's
like a photo lab, you can get it
printed. It cost me, I think $26 for
that size, which is honestly really
good. Oh, I think it has a plastic film
on top that I need to take off.
>> [music]
[music]
>> Okay.
I'm so excited. Oh my gosh, I'm glad I
just finally pulled the plug on art
because I never did this in the old
house. Let's see the instructions. What
does it say? Okay.
Oh, remove the plastic film, blah blah
blah. Oh, what's that?
That's double-sided.
This needs to go down first.
Okay.
These little black things, oh my gosh,
they're so annoying cuz they all need to
be like perfectly aligned. Okay, now
we take the photo,
put it in. It's a bit large. Oh, no.
What? Why is it big? Are we going to
have to do a chopping situation here?
Uh-oh.
>> [snorts]
>> So freaking cute. I love the retro
vibes, but we are going to have to cut
this a little bit. What the heck? I
swear.
Hmm. Okay, interesting. Yeah, it's going
to have to be chopped a little bit. Oh,
that's scary. I have to cut a photo.
Okay, I might pick this up another time
because I don't have that much time
right now to do all the cutting and
stuff. So, this will be TBD and we will
come back to this when I have more time
because I don't want to do a botched
job. So, I want to make sure I take my
time to do this. So, we'll come back to
this. But, I can't believe I printed
this same dimensions. Like, I'm actually
really confused. Maybe it was like a few
like an inch or two, but no. That
doesn't make any sense. Nothing I can do
about it. At least it's too big and not
too small cuz too small is actually
horrible. But, too big, we can work with
that. So.
>> [music]
[music]
>> Yeah, that one is good.
Perfect.
>> Looks so good. A little bit shorter.
Wait, let me see. Is that where we had
it?
>> Um.
>> We had it like there.
>> Yeah, I think that looks good.
>> Locked in?
>> Wait, let me see from this angle. Yeah.
>> [music]
>> Good?
>> You're so annoying sometimes [music]
with the light right now.
>> [music]
[music]
>> Finally in the laundry room, this is
what I was building the shelf for. It
looks so good and it just gives us so
much storage. It just like narrows this
hallway a bit to do laundry, but that's
honestly a good trade-off for like all
this storage. So, I'm just going to fill
it now and then I'll show you guys the
after, but we needed this for like paper
towel, toilet paper, and like all that
fun stuff. I cannot be happier, you
guys. Garbage can finally came in. It
took me so long to figure out our
garbage and recycling situation and I
had no idea what I was going to do. Cuz
I was thinking we could get like a
two-paneled garbage can where half of it
is recycling, half of it is garbage, but
then something like that is really,
really big and kind of obnoxious, but I
knew if it was smaller, I would want
more space for the garbage and whatever.
So, what I ended up doing was I got a
blue recycling bin that I'm putting in
the laundry room that just fits up
against the wall. It's like about this
big, so it's not too big, but it'll
incentivize us to take out the recycling
more often. And then I got a nice size
garbage can that looks good, so we're
going to leave it out and it low-key
matches our snake appliances. I'll show
you guys the color, but it looks really
nice. I don't know if you guys know
this, but garbage cans can literally
range from a hundred to like three
hundred dollars. And I'm like, why are
they so expensive? Why is it so
expensive to get a nice garbage can?
This should be like forty bucks. I do
not understand.
Oh my god, it is so pretty. Actually is
exceeding my expectations right now.
Look at her in all of her glory.
Oh wow, guys. See, this is what I wanted
was a garbage can that looks cute. It's
not an eyesore. Has a little foot pedal.
I was debating between getting the
electric one or this one, but I'm like
electric one can cause issues. You know
what I mean? Like who knows? And you
also have to charge it. So I was like
this is just simple. Don't have to worry
about it. Straightforward and simple.
She is so pretty and you guys see what I
mean by like matching my Smeg
appliances. Let's get her set up and
then I'll show you guys. Here is the new
garbage can all set up. But do you guys
see what I mean by like it matches my
Smeg's perfectly. This is honestly the
perfect size because this can still open
perfectly. And then also these drawers
are totally fine. Like I'm very very
content with the size, the look. It's so
cute. But yeah, look at this set up. I
just press it
and she opens up. And then it's soft
close of course. But this is just better
than digital in my opinion. And then the
lid hides the trash bin so you can't
even see it. She is stunning. I'm so
happy. Honestly worth the money cuz it's
going to be literally out in our
kitchen.
Hello you guys. I'm currently in Winners
/ HomeSense and I'm here to find
anything and everything that will be
useful for decorating. I'm going to look
for more photos. See if anything sparks
my attention and just like random
things. Like this marble bowl is so
cute. Like look at that. That's
adorable. So like little things that I
can think of that we need. Like this
would be a perfect front entryway bowl
if I already didn't have. Like just
little things like that which we don't
have right now is what I'm trying to
find. So, keep you guys updated. This is
such a cute zebra print bed. Like, I
love it, but it really just like looks
used. I feel like this was definitely a
return. Like, look at that.
You can kind of tell an animal has been
comfortably using this. So, this is
definitely a no, but I love the idea of
this if it wasn't like literally felt so
used. This is giving thrift store find,
not HomeGoods. Okay, you can't tell me
this pillow isn't giving. I feel like
for the couch it would be a perfect
addition with like the dark brown. So,
we'll see. I love how everything from
here is returnable though in case I
don't like it. These cheetah towels, are
you kidding me? I'm obsessed. I need to
restrain myself because I don't need
more towels. These would be so perfect
for the guest bathroom. Ashley, the
HomeStore, like the furniture store,
they clutched up. I actually got a
comment on one of my previous videos
where my dining table was from. So, I
wanted to show you guys, which I will in
a second, but got the shipment in like
last week, so I'm finally going to open
everything and show you guys what I got.
This place is I feel like finally coming
together after a long awaited time. It's
finally coming together. Let's open
this. It's really tightly wrapped. Like,
nothing is getting past this box, that's
for sure. So, I ordered some two marble
dish credenza things for our keys when
we walk in for the front entrance. I
actually don't even think I measured
them, to be honest, so I'm sure they'll
be fine. They are heavy. I'm like, what
the heck did I even order here? I kind
of forgot.
Have to go and do the recycling after
this.
I did not expect them to be this heavy.
Like, this is a full-blown weight. I can
work out with this.
Oh my god, beautiful. Look at that
little stone. Or was it marble? What is
this? Stone? This is a natural stone
product. Very pretty, and this is going
to go I'll show you guys on our entryway
table, and there's two in them. So,
they're going to go side by side for our
keys and stuff, just like miscellaneous
stuff when we enter the house. Perfect
for decor.
Then we're going to open one more here.
Beautiful. Here's the second one. So,
they're pretty small but hefty. Can
literally do like some presses with
these. I also have another box. So, let
me go get that and we'll open that
together. I also got a blanket from
them, like a dark chocolate brown. Oh my
god, it's so soft.
A long-haired blanket, which I feel like
is so chic with our brown couch, like
brown on brown. I freaking love that.
I'm just going to put on the couch so I
can open it up in a second, but how
freaking cute. And then one last box
here I think is the pillows cuz I'm
pretty sure I got pillows.
Oh, these are look like they're like vac
Yeah, they're vacuum sealed.
Got to fluff them up. There we go. Oh my
god, cute. These are actually so diva.
Like the long-haired brown. I'm
obsessed. I'm going to swap them out for
the pillows that I have right now cuz
these pillows I do we just took from our
town home and they they do the job.
They're super comfy, honestly, but I
wanted something more like this
apartment style. So, that matches the
blanket and then I got two of them. So,
perfect.
Oh my gosh, I actually love them. They
are so diva. This apartment, as you guys
know, I wanted to decorate diva style,
like diva apartment vibes. Fun, cheetah
print, very fun decor vibe and these
match that. So, let's swap out the
pillows, put on the blanket. I'm also
going to go do a recycling run just to
get this out of the apartment. That is
what I've learned living here is it's so
easy to dispose of garbage and recycling
because of the garbage room that we have
here as opposed to our town home, we
didn't have a garbage room. We had to
like fit everything into these yellow
bags, but here it's so easy. You just
walk everything down to the garbage room
and dispose of it. It's so amazing,
honestly, especially for the amount of
recycling that we have on a daily. Yeah,
we barely even dispose of garbage. It's
mostly just recycling every day, but
anyways, let's swap out the couch and I
will show you guys what it looks like.
Okay, so this is how the couch looks
before. These are the pillows that I was
talking about, the ones that we just
brought from our townhome. So, I'm going
to push these to the side because these
are so slay, but keep these obviously in
storage. I'm even debating keeping these
balls on the couch. I'm going to see
what the couch looks like with them and
then without them because they are a
little bit annoying, not going to lie,
but they are really cute. I also love
this blanket that we got. I found it on
a whim on Amazon. It's not even
available anymore, unfortunately, but
it's like a Lola blanket dupe. It is so
soft, it's so heavy. It's like the best
blanket I've ever purchased. Aliya was
over, one of my friends, and she's like,
"Oh my gosh, can you send me the link?"
and I went to go retrieve the link and
it was no longer available. And then I
looked at their other blankets and they
were like double the price. So, I'm
pretty sure they were probably just
trying to get rid of this print or
something, so it was on such a good
sale. I got it for $50 and I was about
to spend like $300 on a down Lola
blanket and I was like, "May as well
just try one from Amazon." It's so good.
It's like my favorite blanket of all
time.
>> [music]
>> Okay, let's see what this looks like
with the brown pillows alone and then
I'm going to see what it looks like with
the white ones as well.
I literally love the dark brown. It
looks so cute. Now, let me just like
sprawl out this blanket, get the vibe
going. Wonder how big this is. Oh, wow,
this is a nice blanket. So, look, I feel
like really good like draped over the
couch. I kind of like this moment. Ooh.
And then, this one folds it up in the
middle. I'm really liking the vibe.
I'm going to stand back, see how it
looks. I'm not even going to try to put
the white pillows cuz I just know
they're not going to look good. Like
there's already too much going on. I
don't want to make the couch too
cluttered. So, I feel like this is like
the max that I would put on the couch,
but I really, really like the dark brown
and then like my leopard blanket right
here and like this whole color
combination going on. I think I'm going
to keep this like this. I actually
really, really like it. So, this is the
new couch. We still need a new rug as
you could see. This one doesn't even go
to the back of the couch. So, I'm trying
to find a cute rug for the space, but in
the meantime, honestly, this white one
makes do. It's not the biggest deal, but
yeah, I really like it. Do you need to
like the new Do you like the new
cushions? She's like, "Hmm, I need to
see for myself." Do you like the new
cushions? I really, really love the vibe
and it also kind of just like switches
things up. So, Diva, I'm obsessed.
Okay, so here's how the two stone trays
look right below this photo here. We had
to kind of put the photo a little bit
higher up than we originally wanted to
just because there was like some paint,
like yellow weird covered up paint stuff
behind, so we covered it. But, it
honestly, I kind of do like the height.
It kind of makes this wall look larger
than it is. It kind of accentuates like
the ceiling height cuz we have tall
ceilings in this place. But, let me know
what you guys think if I should decorate
it even more, put a little lamp, or
what. I'm going to Pinterest some stuff
and see if I find any inspo. But, right
now it looks really good. I think that
the photo colors really match the wood
here and also the stone trays that I
just put. I think it like complements it
so freaking well. So, I love what a good
find. This cabinet is from IKEA. It's
their EKET cabinet, but love this so
much and the color scheme just goes
really, really well. And then we can do
a little bit of like a his and hers
situation for these. So, like I can have
one with anything I want to put in it
and Joel, obviously, we don't want to
put too many things in here to not make
it look cluttered, but maybe a lip gloss
or something for the entryway to put on
my purse or something cuz we also have
room here that I need to put bins and
stuff. But yeah, looking super good. It
is a another day of apartment
decorating/organizing.
I just got to Home Sense. Today I'm
looking for some bins for the closet,
the entryway closet. So, I need some
bins to organize some stuff up top
there. I'm also just looking for kind of
miscellaneous stuff. And then I also
need organizational bins for my room,
for my shelving unit that I have all my
PR products on. I really need at least
two bins for the top and the bottom to
put like miscellaneous stuff. So, I'm
going to see what they have. Hopefully
they have something. I literally brought
a measuring tape with me cuz I fear I'm
going to need it. So, I don't have to
come back and I can actually get like
the right size bins and stuff. So,
hopefully they have everything I want.
I'm also going to take a peek at their
patio furniture cuz we have not even got
any patio furniture yet, you guys. I
just like have put the house on the back
burner for the past few months and I've
done literally nothing for it. And I
really just want to get it done. Life
gets in the way and I put other things
on priority and it's just like since it
doesn't like need to get done, it's not
like the world's going to fall apart if
I don't finish organizing and decorating
the apartment. That's why I always am
putting it on the back burner and I'm a
very like type B/C personality where
it's like I so like hyper focusing on
different things and I can't just like
finish one thing. Like that's a
personality trait that I have, which I
need to get better at. So, anyways,
that's why it's been so felt like so
long. We moved in like over 6 months ago
now, which is crazy and it's like girl,
just get the house done. Even though I
purged a lot moving into the apartment,
I still can get rid of more. Like you
can always get rid of more. So, I feel
like I want to do a second and then
it'll be done. So, anyways, let's go to
Home Sense, see what they have. Fingers
crossed they have bins cuz I have been
wanting these bins for a while. I just
haven't been able to find them. So,
hopefully they have them. Yeah, I'll
keep you guys updated. I don't want to
be in there for too long. [music]
Okay, let me show you guys what they
have for bin options, specifically
thinking of my room. So, this is like a
cute stripe one. This is would be going
on my shelving unit. I still need to
measure all these out, but they have
this pattern, which is just like a beige
and white stripe, which is super cute.
And then they also have this one, which
is like a floral pattern, which is also
super cute. These are not going to be
like too too visible. They're just going
to be on the shelving, so they're kind
of just going to be faced like that
where you could just see this. I'm not
sure. I still need to like I said
measure them and then see if they have
like two of a kind, but I feel like
these are my best options so far. I need
a Yeah, we'll measure them and see. So
those are my probably my two top best
options right now. And then for the
closet, up above the hangers and stuff,
I'm still not sure. I really love love
the color of these blue bins, but
they're too small. Like that's not
really going to fit much. So these are
no, but I do love the color on these.
But yeah, other than that, I'm not sure.
So I'm going to have [music] to kind of
measure, assess my options. And I'll
keep you guys up to Okay, I just
compiled these two bins and looks like
they're going to fit perfectly on the
shelf. So I think I'm going to get these
two. They're really really pretty. I'll
give you an up close of the pattern
there. It's like very florally, very
cute. So I think I'm going to get these
two. And I can always return them if I
don't like them in the [music] room, so
we can test them out, I'll keep the
receipt and see if I'm going to like
them, but I think I am. And then I also
have this cheetah blanket in the cart.
Okay, in the photo aisle, I'm not
finding anything. Like they honestly do
have a really good selection, but like
nothing that I have been looking for. I
love these style prints, like the not
the paintings. Actually, this is really
pretty. I don't know if you can see
this, but this flower one, that's really
pretty. I'm looking for something above
our bed. I just don't know the vibe. I
honestly might just end up ordering
something, printing it out myself, but I
don't know. There's a lot of good
options here. I might take a photo of a
few of them so then I can come back.
They also have like really really really
big ones over here, but nothing that is
speaking to me.

>> Literally, look at this butter salted
butter lamp. That is so funny. They have
the funniest lamps here. I'm just kind
of looking for more mood lighting for
our house just because we don't have
much right now and
I just I'm seeing something right now.
This is really nice.
This is a really cool lamp. Like, if
this was like behind the couch, that's
actually so nice. And this is just like
very sleek and perfect and I love the
silver. Like, if we just plop this right
behind the couch and like the corner,
that would give such good mood lighting.
Or even beside I'm just trying to think
even beside like the TV console. This
would be so perfect. Honestly, I might
get this. This is really cute. I feel
like this will be perfect. I was also
thinking like maybe a table lamp, but
then I'm like, if we want to be
clutter-free, it's nice to not have
anything on the TV console. Like, I feel
like it might be a little bit too
cluttered if we did that. So, if this
like stands beside, I feel like that
would just make things a lot more
clutter-free. And if I don't like it, I
can always return it, which is nice. But
yeah, even thinking of something like
this that I saw. I was like, this would
be really nice, but also I just feel
like it would give too much clutter to
the TV console when I just kind of want
to keep things off of that. So, I think
I'm just going to go with this lamp. I'm
going to go check out now. We'll see how
it looks. I'm going to take a risk on
it. Hopefully, it fits in the car cuz
Joel's golf clubs are in there right
now, but I should be able to just kind
of lay it on top. So, we'll see. I'm
going to check out now and then give you
guys a whole one in back. Here is the
checkout bin here that we're going with.
Not too much, but this lamp is going to
be a little bit of a pain to get back
into the car.
Okay, guys. I'm currently on the way to
pick up a photo print from Etsy that I
bought for the bathroom. It is actually
so cute, so I'm so excited to show you
guys and I already have the frame for it
that I picked up from IKEA. And yeah,
it's such a cute bathroom photo. It's
just perfect cuz we have the girls
litter box in the bathroom. So, you'll
see. It's such a cute photo. So, picking
that up and then we'll put it in its
frame and hang it later. So excited just
to get the house done. done.

>> New bathroom photo alert, guys. How
freaking cute is it because we have the
litter box in here. So, this is like the
half bath, the spare bathroom. So, this
just makes so much sense. It's perfect.
Okay, guys. So, I have the lamp here. I
think it looks really, really, really
good actually in this corner next to the
TV. But, when I put the light bulb in,
we're going to try it in two different
places, in the corner there or the
corner there and see where it looks
best. But, I definitely want it to be on
before we try it. So, I have this light
bulb from IKEA that I just stole from
one of our lamps in the room. So, I just
got to buy a light light bulb for it and
it's color changing with a remote, which
is super, super handy. So, I feel like
this will be the perfect light bulb for
it. But, I'm just going to screw it in.
Okay, light bulb is in.
See if that makes a difference. I think
it's just not There we go. Ooh. Oh my
gosh, you guys. I think it's like also
just not dark enough right now to see
the full effects, but you can kind of
see and then I could switch. Oh, this is
tea. This is actually so tea. Oh my
gosh, and obviously it's dimmable. These
light bulbs from IKEA are actually the
best. I'm obsessed.
Okay, so this is how it looks in this
corner, like right near the couch here.
Let me know what you guys think.
Obviously, this could be moved. I'm not
100% sure. So, let me know what you guys
think of it being next to the TV or in
the corner here. Let me just give you an
overview of the room. I don't know. It
kind of looks good in both. I guess
we're we can always change it if we want
to, but it really does look good in both
though. But, what a find. What a find of
a lamp today. I'm not sure if I got the
chance to show you guys the dining room
table yet, but here it is. And then, I
just have a vase in the middle with this
new picture. And then, I think we're
going to keep the lamp in this corner.
So, let me know what you guys think.
This is what it looks like during the
day when it's not on, and I think it
still looks fab. So, let me know your
guys' opinion, but I just feel like it
brings light into this corner where the
TV is already shining this way anyways.
So, it brings light to the corner that
we don't have any light, which I think
is so nice, and it gives such great mood
lighting at night. But, yeah. So, this
is how the dining and living room are
looking. And then, I added our orchid
plant here. So, let me know what you
guys think because I feel like this
entryway needed a little something. And
this was actually sitting in Joel's
office, and I was like, "Oh my gosh,
this would go so good with the color
scheme with this photo." And I think it
looks really pretty with the flower
here. So, let me know if you guys think
it matches, but I think it looks really
cute, and it's the perfect spot for the
plant. It's our only real plant in the
house {slash} only plant. And then, we
got this brown bench from Ashley
Furniture, which is so fab. It also
opens up. This is the cheetah blanket
that I got from HomeSense. I put it on
top of here because the girls have been
sleeping on it. Like, I've been sleeping
on this bench, and I just wanted to make
it comfier for them. So, I think it
looks really, really cute in the hallway
of our room here, and it kind of gives
it just some nice decoration, something
for the girls to lay on. And then, I
also definitely want to do something
with this wall. We need to figure out
what we're going to do with that. So,
that will be in an upcoming vlog on
what's going to go on this huge blank
hallway in our bedroom because it it
obviously needs something. But, this
we're off to a great start with this.
It's very functional and a great bed for
the girls. And then, I did end up
getting this cheetah pillow as well, so
I just threw it on the bed and I think
it looks really pretty. It's not too
many pillows on the bed, but it's kind
of like the perfect medium. So, that is
what I did with this pillow. These bins
that I just got fit literally perfectly,
as you can see. So, I have one here and
then I have a couple rows of PR products
here that I honestly need to organize.
I'm going to be doing an I
also have one at the top shelf as well.
So, as you can see, it takes up most of
the space, which is exactly what I
wanted and it looks great and cute. So,
mission successful with these bins.
