Video summary

The video begins with a live day trading session for Friday, August 7th, where the host analyzes pre-market data showing significant gains across major indices like the S&P and NASDAQ, alongside strong performance in commodities such as gold and silver. The trader emphasizes a disciplined approach that relies solely on price action rather than technical indicators, focusing heavily on risk management during the critical first hour of trading to avoid losses driven by greed. As the market opens, specific attention is given to individual stock movers like Airbnb following its earnings report and various tech giants including Nvidia, AMD, and Tesla, while noting mixed performance in sectors like oil and natural gas which showed divergent movements compared to other assets. Throughout the session, the host executes several complex option strategies using a proprietary tool called Flux, specifically targeting zero-day-to-expiration (0DTE) iron condors and double calendar spreads on major indices like the S&P 500. A significant portion of the trading activity centers around SpaceX stock, where the trader enters positions in call options to capitalize on upward momentum, scaling out profits at various price targets ranging from $280 to $450 as the stock pushes through new highs and previous resistance levels. The commentary highlights the volatility inherent in chip stocks during this period, noting that while some names like PLTR surged significantly, others faced selling pressure despite overall market strength, requiring constant adjustments to stop-losses and profit-taking orders. As the trading day progresses into its later stages, the host discusses integrating new features into his software ecosystem, such as copying trades directly between different analytical tools within the Flux platform, while also sharing insights on using relative strength metrics beyond traditional indices like the S&P 500 to gauge market health amidst heavy weighting in technology sectors. The session concludes with a successful exit strategy for the final SpaceX contract at $6 per share after holding through minor pullbacks, resulting in a net profit of approximately $1,700 on an initial position size of twenty lots. Ultimately, the trader wraps up by stating that no further trades will be taken for the day but remains vigilant about monitoring specific stocks like Tesla and PLTR before signing off to join viewers for their next scheduled trading hour.

A lot of green on the screen. See if this can hold it. Uh, looking like a little head fig so far after the NFP data. I will be trading a 1DTE iron condor near the open. I will also be trading a 67 double calendar. We'll use my handy dandy flux tool to set up my 67 to be able to quickly copy it over to toss. Got a couple new updates on the flux capacitor coming out today. I'll share later. Got about one minute till the market open. Looks like the S&P expected range today a little over 40 points. Yeah, Nor this whole this whole uh becoming a software developer is a blessing and a curse. I like it, but holy moly, it's a it's a time consumer. I just I have so many ideas floating around in my head now. I just want to put it put it into the system. All right, market opens in 10 seconds. Market's coming down into the open. There is the bell. I clarified nor that it's a 1DTE with Monday options in my trade plan. Smarty pants one trading day. Is that better? All right. Going to try to get filled on a 67 here. Ah, I missed my fill. Was trying to trying to get a better price and I missed it. All right, there we go. Get these posted. And I got filled on the 1DTE. S&P NASDAQ holding above previous day high. Oh, I did not get filled on my 1DT. I post I didn't post all my orders for the 67. There we go. Uh, let's see. Why is my Why is my one DTE not firing? Okay. Uh, something something's going on with O. Give me a minute here. Got to go old school. Sometimes you got to go old school, my friends. Entering a trade manually, 30 wide. NASDAQ had the biggest bounce, still the strongest. Russell acting weakest. Okay, one DTE posted. Airbnb is pushing. It's up 13% now. Is that all-time highs in Airbnb? At least recent going back to 2023. MSTR pushing above pre-market high. SpaceX is pumping up 4%. I'm going to load some calls in SpaceX here. Zero DTE 7745s. Wow, these are pricey. Oh, never mind. That was That was SPX, not SPCX. Scratch that. That uh price that strike wouldn't match either. 7745. Uh how about the 120s in the SpaceX? That's a little more in line. watching SpaceX. I'm going to take SpaceX. Kind of jumped on me. Filled at 209. See if we can get a push through highs here. Try to take some off at 250. Filled 250. Nice. Don't like my fill, but like the move worked. Put another target at 280. Uh Net. Yeah, that's the 67 I do every Friday morning. I like to do a 34 on Monday morning. There's a 280 on SpaceX. 34 on Monday morning and a 67 on Friday morning. Russell getting some legs now. No, all my DC time machines I started around 40 delta and then I tweak it based on current environment. Looking at the risk graph, Nvidia kind of giving it up. I don't Well, I don't trade the old I don't All my calendar stuff is DC time machines now. So, I'm not sure what you mean. I don't I haven't traded any just straight up calendars in a while. AMD. Someone just somebody asked earlier, do I have the Yeah, abosh the AMD calendar. I do still have it was up this morning. So, I thought I was maybe going to be able to book some profits today, but AMD is kind of falling apart now. Back in the red by a couple hundred bucks. SpaceX. A little pullback. MSTR. getting back up into that zone on the daily chart where it kind of had some reactions. Time to get back in touch, Abash. Get back in touch with reality. S&P just chopping. NASDAQ just chopping. Russell pushing. SpaceX, you going to give us any more or is that it? My options are back down to entry on my remaining. I did 20, got out of 15. So, I've got five left. But those five left are right at my entry. Let's see. Tesla's acting strong also pulling back now a little bit. Google's acting weak. Amazon strong above previous day high. Order filled. Microsoft will retest a previous day Hi. SpaceX trying to bounce again. PLTR is up 5%. Tesla, look at that little Tzy go with volume. Nvidia trying to bounce back. Apple's weak. Meta's in the red by a little bit. Chips are a little weak, but starting to bounce. MU and AMD just above unchanged. Same with SNDK. See if SpaceX can give us another push here. There's a new high. Let's get a Let's get a mirror of the first candle on the 15minute back to back. Tesla's still pushing. Yeah, I think what I'm going to do, Bosch, is I'm going to have a video library of the different features kind of broken down into like I don't know like five to 10 minute videos and it'll be on there'll be a section on the actual app where those are located so you can kind of reference different features of it. Yeah, it's kind of turning into a little bit of a monster. All right, SpaceX rejecting a little bit. Russell rejecting just below previous day high. S&P back below previous day high. Tesla doesn't care. No rejection out of Tesy. Microsoft nice bounce off of previous day high. Amazon looks like it may want to go Is there a way to take trades from the calendar spread to the analyzer? Um, yeah, I do want to integrate something like that. I mean, obviously you can just set up the Well, we got the Yeah, you got the I see. Yeah, if if you're just clicking on a specific pair that you want, just copying that over to the analyzer. Yeah. Yeah. Well, yeah, I'll definitely make that happen. I've been trying to think through how to integrate that. And then yeah, Joseph T, what you said as well, we can take a we can copy and move it to toss, but the other thing I want to do is be able to take a copy link from toss and put it in the analyzer, if that's what you mean. Yep. Yep. Yeah, there goes Amazon. SpaceX trying to pop back up. Yeah, I didn't like Trade Modeler. The ultimate trade modeler. I like the flux analyzer. Tesla's still pumping. Have you not seen Back to the Future, Chris? It all started with the DC time machine, Chris. do yourself a favor and go watch go watch uh Back to the Future this weekend. Greatest movie of the 80s. Waterfilled Tub Time Machine is a good one, too. All right, SpaceX new highs. But my options are basically at my second profit target. I need to push quickly on these zero DTE quickly. Anybody take Amazon or Microsoft? Both of those were nice little previous day high re retests. I was already in SpaceX so I didn't take one but both nice Abash. Nice. Jonathan W's in Microsoft. Yeah, Tesla would have been a hard one to catch. It just kind of ripped chopped for a few minutes, I guess. But yeah, that should be that should be pretty easy, Joseph T. I agree. Have another little button next to the broker copy buttons. Tesla's trying to give a back-to back 15minute candle like the first. SpaceX still ticking new highs. Back to the Future 2 is my favorite of the three when he goes into the future. PLTR. Yeah, PLTR is pumping. Let's see. The chip stocks are still just kind of kind of weak. Chips kind of weak. Indices just choppy. But the mags, the mags are showing some strength. Amazon, Microsoft, Tesla, and then SpaceX and PLTR. PLTR up almost 7% now. Is there like a MAG 7 index? Does anybody know? Those are like a mag 7 ETF. Is it mags fngu mags kind of volume about a half million of volume I'm just I need something to use for like relative strength and weakness because the indices S&P and NASDAQ don't really work anymore with the whole market cap of the chips. Well, I use SMH for the chips, but All right, SpaceX little pullback again for memory. Okay. SNDK is bleeding. MU is bleeding. AVGO at lows. AMD still chopping around unchanged. Intel at lows. SMH going through lows. Man, every time SpaceX dips, my options just drain. I'm below my entry now on my last few runners. order filled. If I would have been scalping, definitely would have been some little dips and pops. Could have worked in SpaceX. I don't want to give up too much on these runners, but I don't want to cut it too short either. Tesla finally getting a pullback. There we go. Dip trying to get bought up in SpaceX a little bit. Wow, Nebius gave it up. Nebus was up like 6%. Now it's down two and a half. SpaceX new highs. Let's go. Let's rip. None of this little take a new high and pull back stuff. I need a rip. Just to rip your face off through new highs. Uh, how do I do that? Copy link. Share list. Copy link. Will that work? I guess. Let me know if that works. P Rob. Be back in one minute. Tesla big pullback now. SpaceX. Higher highs and higher lows. Price is still below my second profit target that I got filled on at 280 with the zero DTE premium decay softy. Another retest of previous day high. Nvidia just very choppy. Amazon ticked that new high but not much follow through. picked a good horse this morning in SpaceX. It's kind of holding up the best besides let's say like PLTR is definitely the strongest. None of the cryptos could really hold their or give much follow through. Bitcoin coming down to previous day high Do you guys see that post in the day trading chat about Leo? He's back. He's got 400 million. He's ready to He's going to use 10 times leverage this time to get his money back. The comments on that Twitter post are pretty funny. Wow, Tesla really giving it up now. S&P is going through lows. NASDAQ through lows. Chips dragging down the indices. Banks are weak, too. SpaceX new highs. All right, I'll try to take a couple more off at 330. Options got up to 310. There's 325. Come on, hit it. How about 310? All right. Got out of some at 310. I've got three left. Order filled. Put an another order at 380 to take another one off. Order filled. Watson, what's your unusual volume? Is that pre-market or anytime or what? What is it? Post a screenshot if you can, if you don't mind. Microsoft now pushing below previous day high. All three indices now below previous day high. SpaceX and PLTR, they don't care. PLTR is up over 8%. SpaceX up almost seven. There's 380 filled. Got two left. Put one at 450. Just kind of scaling out into strength here. Well, it doesn't look like I'm going to get assigned on my short puts I did in SpaceX for earnings on the 115s. We're up to 122. So, those puts are up about 50% now. All right, I'm going to go ahead and get out of my SpaceX if it drops below that previous down close candle right here. That's my line. New highs. indices going through lows. Chips falling. Do you guys see the new terapab deal that Tesla's building in Texas? Holy moly, that's a crazy complex. Order filled Still got my order at 450. Options are trading around four. SpaceX. So the lower number is the specific bar compared to the exact. Okay, cool. SpaceX filled at 450. So, so MSTR was trading at 2.9 time or three times the red box. So that's three times normal. Is that is that correct? Cool. Nice. All right, I got one SpaceX left. Let's see if I can get six bucks for it. Tesla now below previous day high. SNDK is now down five. AMD down two. MU down three. Yeah, exactly, Watson. I mean, I that that's how indicators should be used, right? Like it just gives you an easier way to view something instead of how most people use them as trying to predict something. All right, I got my last final contract at six bucks. If I would have done some ads here on these little dips, it would have been a really nice trade. What What am I up here? I'm still up 1,700. Starting with 20 lot. Options are at 575. Come and get me, baby. Come and get my $6. You know you want it. I'm going to lower it to 580 right here at the top of this candle. One more tick. Give it to me. Boom. 580 filled and out. That was beautiful. That was a beauty. PLTR is still making new highs. Anybody take PLTR and anything? I mean, you had one little pause there. Not really a not an entry that I would have taken, but yeah, exactly. I don't Yeah, there's not really a good entry unless you're just using an EMA or something. All right, all that's a wrap. One and done. Uh, doubt I'll take anything else on the day trade front, but I'll keep an eye on it this morning. If I do, I'll post in the trade channel. Otherwise, I will see you all in power hour. Cheers.
