Video summary
The video begins with an energetic introduction to the live day trading session for Tuesday, August 25th, where the host immediately assesses the pre-market conditions across major indices and commodities. At the start of the broadcast, the S&P futures were up by 30 points, while the NASDAQ led gains with a rise of 231 points; however, this bullish sentiment was not universal as gold, silver, oil, and various agricultural products like soybeans and corn all showed declines. The host notes that Bitcoin was trading just below $79,000 and the VIX index remained relatively low at 15.80. With the market opening in about a minute, the trader outlines his strategy for the day, which involves letting an automated bot make initial decisions based on whether the VIX turns green, while also managing existing positions on specific strike prices without adding further exposure to those particular trades.
As the trading session progresses, the host focuses heavily on individual stock movements and technical levels, particularly within the semiconductor and technology sectors. Significant pre-market movers included AMD, which surged nearly four percent, alongside strong performances from Nebia, MRNA, Intel, and Nvidia. However, the market quickly shifted as a technical glitch, suspected to be related to SIBO or a freeze issue, prevented options from trading smoothly for several minutes. Once the system stabilized, the trader identified weakness in the Russell index and large banks while noting that crypto assets like Coinbase and Circle showed some resilience. He actively managed his IWM position by entering a trade on zero-day puts after a rejection of previous highs, setting initial profit targets at 80 cents and subsequently adjusting them to 87 cents as the market fluctuated between pre-market highs and lows.
The latter part of the stream is characterized by choppy market conditions where indices traded near their previous day's levels, leading the trader to execute several exits and risk management adjustments. Despite some stocks like Tesla and Netflix attempting to hold or push above key resistance levels, broader weakness emerged as the S&P and NASDAQ dipped toward new lows while big banks and chip stocks reversed course. The host successfully transformed one of his directional contracts into a bullish vertical spread but faced frustration when an order to exit an IWM position at 105 cents was not filled due to queue depth issues, causing the price to drop back down shortly after. Recognizing that the market lacked clear directional momentum and that his remaining positions were becoming risky in this sideways environment, he decided to cut all remaining runners to lock in small profits on a small position size.
The session concludes with the host wrapping up the live stream after successfully exiting his IWM trade and acknowledging that there would be no "power hour" today due to a schedule change. He observes that while some individual stocks like Reddit remained strong above their previous day's highs, the overall market sentiment was fragile with Amazon hitting new lows and major tech giants struggling to maintain green values. Before signing off, he reminds viewers to check the day trading channel for any future updates or additional trade ideas, wishing everyone a good rest of their Tuesday. The video ends on a note of cautious optimism, emphasizing the importance of patience over greed and the necessity of managing risk effectively in volatile market conditions.

off like a ruin. If the volume spikes,
then it's time to trade. Mighty 90
setting up. It's time to get paid.
Navigation trading on the mic. Time to
get focused. We don't need any
indicator. Hocus pocus. It's all about
the price. Just watch it move. Manage
your risk so you don't lose. First hour
of trading is all we need. Focus on the
patience and forget about greed.

decision. If VIX uh ends up green at the
open, it'll fire. If not, it won't. Uh
I've already got three DCTMs on 208,
209, and 210. So, I'm not going to be
adding any more exposure on those at
this point. Hopefully, I can get the 210
transformed today.

for that one to hit max profit. So, not
too far off.
My time fly is up a little bit. Looks
like about 3%.
Let's see. I'm not sure where this is.
trading, but I'm going to go ahead and
Are the S&P options not trading yet?
What's going on here?
You guys seeing a little issue on toss?
It's like we're still stuck in the
freeze.
Hm.
SIBO issue maybe.
Yeah, it must be a SIBO.
As far as individual stocks, we've got
MU pushing
above previous day high and above
pre-market high.

All the chips pretty much are bouncing.
Meta quick little push above pre-market
high but coming back down.

through the day trading course to
understand what's going on here.
Tesla's starting to bounce.
Hitting pre-market high.
Netflix. Yeah, Netflix strong,
man. Netflix has been in that steep
upward channel now since earnings
every little dip getting bought up in
Netflix for the last
since July 17th.
All right, seeing some strength come in
now,
but IWM staying weak.
I'm try to get out of some more. I'm
gonna move my target to 87. Try to get
out of some more here.
Nvidia acting the strongest of the chips
along with SMCI.

profit target sit sitting at 87.
We do have consumer confidence in 8
minutes.
Not typically much of a market mover,
but
there's 86.
Touched my 87. Didn't fill.
There it is. 87 filled.
S SNP back to the lower end of its chop

number 210.
IWM coming back down.
New lows. I've got an order to take some
more off at 105.
All three indices trading at lows.
AVGO is coming down hard.

Touched 105 but no fill.
Don't leave me hanging.
Fill it up.
Google now in the red.
Microsoft is trying to stay green.
Don't leave me hanging. IWM
touched 10. It hit 105. Just did not. My
order was not high enough in the queue
to get filled.
Now they're back down to 86.
Tesla trying to get back up to highs. It
keeps kind of getting rejected at
pre-market high right here at this
level.
See if it can push through.
Microsoft couldn't hold. Went in the
red.
AVGO tried to bounce. Getting pushed
back down.
That's unfortunate in IWM. I didn't hit
that one.

almost to previous day high.
All right, Russell's going to come back
down and try to get me filled, I think.
Most of the chips pretty
pretty choppy. Amazon's putting in new
lows.
SpaceX still rejecting.
Uh reminder, I had to change the live
schedule, so no power hour today.
All right, IWM not going through lows
here.
All right, I'm going to cut my remaining
runners.
All right, out of IWM. Small winner,
small position size, but nice little
nice little trade. S&P and NASDAQ trying
to hold above previous day high.
Reddit.
I haven't looked at Reddit in a while.
Little strong above previous day high.
All right, all I'm going to wrap the
stream. If I see anything here in the
near future, I will post in the day
trading channel.
Otherwise, everybody have a good rest of
your day. I will be around until end of
day
uh working on some other stuff, some
other trades. So, everybody have a good
Tuesday. Talk to you soon. Cheers.
