Video summary
Following Jesus in ministry is fundamentally rooted in four interconnected aspects: intimacy with the Father, teaching and preaching, performing God's works through miracles, and discipling others. The speaker emphasizes that every believer participates in this work regardless of their location or role, rejecting any distinction between full-time and part-time service since genuine ministry overflows from a private relationship with God rather than public acclaim. Success depends on seeking divine approval during secret times of prayer and Scripture reading, as illustrated by William J. Seymour of the Azusa Street Revival, whose powerful ministry transcended racial divisions through his deep connection to God despite societal segregation.
Teaching and preaching serve as central pillars of Jesus' example, utilizing parables drawn from everyday life to convey profound truths about stewardship, repentance, faith, salvation, and discipleship. While many modern conferences focus on entertainment or mere storytelling, the speaker urges believers to faithfully proclaim Scripture in season and out of season, relying on its living power described in Hebrews 4:12 to penetrate souls and defeat enemy works. Miracles performed by Jesus pointed directly to the Father rather than seeking personal fame, setting a precedent for Christians today who should view signs and wonders as acts of doing God's will during difficult seasons while prioritizing faithfulness over quantity or output.
The mandate for contemporary believers extends beyond individual service to include preparing new leaders in various fields such as pastoring, teaching, business, and ministry so that the body of Christ stands ready everywhere through encouragement, correction, building up, and providing opportunities. This vision is exemplified by the Apostle Paul's relationship with Timothy, a seventeen-year-old companion chosen for his reputation and knowledge rather than treated merely as a servant; together they endured beatings, imprisonment, powerful preaching, church planting, and eventually martyrdom over fifteen years. By the time Ephesus established its own bishops and deacons, Paul encouraged them not to despise their youth but to recognize that young believers like Timothy were being prepared by witnessing his life of service as future leaders ready to guide the church forward.
The session concludes with a heartfelt prayer asking for guidance from Jesus Christ, empowerment by the Holy Spirit to preach boldly without fear, and gratitude for the teachings received throughout this exploration of following Him in ministry.

Okay good morning everyone good morning so this
morning you been learning about
following Jesus
this morning what we were
learning about following Jesus in
session one you look at our calling to be like
Jesus
in the first session we saw our
calling to be like Jesus and at the
next session last session you saw how
following Jesus is our lifestyle
and in the last session we saw how
following Jesus is our lifestyle
and the last session today we will be talking about is
following Jesus in ministry and the
last session today we will be talking about is
following Jesus in our ministry.
Now firstly we must understand that all of
us are in ministry.
So first we must understand that all of us are
in ministry.
Weather you are in the work place and weather you are
in the church.
Whether you are at work or at
church.
We're All in Ministry. We are all in ministry.
We have to come out of this idea of full
time ministry and part time
ministry.
And we have to get out of this idea of whether we do half-time
ministry or full-time ministry. Wherever
we are, wherever
we are.
We are in ministry.
So we're going to look at how Jesus did
ministry and how we can follow him.
We are going to look at how Jesus ministered
and how we can follow His example. Firstly,
when Jesus carried out His ministry, He came from a place of intimacy with the Father. Firstly, when Jesus carried out
His ministry, He came from a place of
intimacy with the Father.
Let's read Matthew chapter six and
six. Let's read Matthew chapter six verse six
Jesus is giving instructions to his
disciples in this whole of Matthew five and
six
and in Matthew chapter five and six Jesus was
giving instructions to his disciples in
Matthew six and six
Matthew six verse six
but when you pray go into your room close the
door and pray to the Father who is unseen then
your Father who sees what is done in secret
but when you pray
go into your room and close the door and pray to your Father who is in
secret then your Father who
sees in secret will reward you
and he will reward you so now Jesus is
giving a very simple yet powerful
principle
and so here Jesus is giving a very simple yet
very powerful principle.
Jesus is telling
his disciples Jesus is telling his disciples
if
you want your prayers to be answered and if you want
your ministry and your work to be
fruitful
and if you want your ministry or work to be
fruitful
he is giving us the key here. He is
saying first go to your room close the door pray
to your father who is unseen
and he is saying first go to your room
close the door and pray to the father who is in secret then
your father sees what you have done in secret
he will reward you so I like that word
secret
and so I like the word secret here we always say
the secret place and we always
say secret place that is the place where we go
to find intimacy with God
and this is the place where we do
intimacy with God with the father
and what happens in public is a result of what happens
in private
and whatever happens in our secret place is the
result of what happens in
public so I
think you know sometimes we are in a
place we want to do great ministry
and so sometimes we are in such a place
where we want to do a very good and great ministry.
All of us want to do something right.
We want to do everything for the
kingdom of God. But the problem is we are
unwilling to sacrifice.
But the problem is that we do
n't want to make sacrifices.
But Jesus is saying if you want to be
successful in public you have to have a
successful private life. But Jesus
is saying here that if you
want to succeed in the public places, then first
succeed in the secret places of yours.
Genuine ministry is an overflowing
relationship that you have with Jesus.
And the real ministry that happens is the
impact of our relationship with Jesus.
Genuine Ministry Genuine
ministry
is an overflow with your relationship with Jesus.
And the relationship we have with Jesus has an
impact.
And Jesus is telling his disciples.
And Jesus is telling his disciples this. He is not
just saying but he is showing it by
example.
And he is not just saying it now, but
showing it by example. The
Bible says early in the morning even before dawn he would
wake up and go and spend time
with the Father. The
Bible says that the morning
dawns before dawn. He would go to spend time in prayer.
So ministry is an overflow from
relationship. And what ministry is is the effect of relationship.
If you and I, if you know,
in the afternoon sessions, you are learning about
Christian history, right
missions, and those who did. In the
afternoon sessions, you are learning
about God's servants.
What was the key in all the people?
So, what was the one common thing in all these people?
They were all men and women of prayer. They were all people of prayer, good God.
It was very little to do with gifts, and
very little to do with the talents and abilities. And what was their skill? It was their prayer
life that got them the recognition. It was
his prayer life that gave him
recognition.
William Jessemore
and William Jessemore
The Azure Street Revival. Have you learned about that
?
The Azure Street Revival. He was a black
man and you know there was a differentiation,
you know whites and blacks were kept separate during that
time. And the
difference between the Aju Street Revival was that the
non-white and black people were kept separate.
So
when he joined Bible college,
only the whites were sitting inside, and they had
the blacks sit outside.
So only the whites were sitting inside,
and the blacks had to sit outside.
Nobody knew who those white people were. Everyone knew
William Jessemore,
and everyone knew who William Jessemore was.
When he started to preach,
people experienced the presence of God. And people started feeling the presence of God in a
small church in one
street called Azuja. There was a small
church in their street
called Azuja.
Right, remember, blacks
and whites were not friends. At that time, there was hatred among them.
And there was hatred among both groups of people.
The white stock they were greater.
And the white people thought they were great,
but God. Used Him
But God used Him
From 100 it became
500 From 100 people it became 1000 2000 2000 5000 5000 10000 10000
People would stand early in the morning with umbrellas
in the rain to get in to hear Him
preach
and people would stand early in the morning
with umbrellas in the rain to get in to
hear Him preach
White people also
and White people also
Why What was the difference
Because of the presence of God Jesus did not minister
to gain followers and Jesus did
not minister to gain followers.
Jesus Did Not Do Ministry To Get The
Father's Approval.
And Jesus did not minister to gain the Father's approval. He was
already living in the intimacy in the
presence of the Father.
He already is the one who lived in the intimacy and ministry of the Father.
So genuine
ministry happens with a relationship with Jesus
and genuine ministry happens through the influence of our relationship
with Jesus. It is
very important
not to replace your personal time with God with anything else.
If you want to be fruitful in ministry
you must have a very strong personal
prayer life and reading of the Word.
We must have a very strong faith life. Guard your time for
prayer and reading of the Word.
Seek for
God's approval more than man's approval. See
John 14:21 and 23 he says this as we love Him
and obe the Word we receive revolution and habitation of His
presence
and John 14:21 and 23 he says this as we
love Him and obe the Word we receive revolution and habitation of His presence. If we
obey His commandments, we
also receive the revelation and presence of His presence.
The Two Words is very
revolution and these two words are very important.
Publications and residencies.
What is revolution?
What is a publication?
Something That Is Hidden God Reveals It To Us.
Whatever is hidden and God reveals it to us.
When We Are in God's Presence. When we are
in the presence of God,
in intimacy with God,
He brings revolution into our hearts.
So imagine you are reading the Word and we may not understand a certain
portion of
Scripture
and there may be some parts of the Scripture that we may
not understand, but
the Holy Spirit is able to bring
revolution.
But the Holy Spirit is
able to bring revelation for that we have to be in the presence
of God. For that we
need to be in the presence of God.
Then is habituation.
After that residence. That means it's
not like the presence comes
and goes away.
This does not mean that presence comes and
goes.
It is a continuous presence that we live
in.
And that is the constant presence in which we live.
Jesus, wherever he went, was always in the
presence of the Father.
Wherever Jesus went, He was always
in the presence of God the Father. He
says I am in the Father and the Father is in.
So he says that I am in the Father and the
Father is in me.
I am the Father are one.
And the Father and I are one. He was
in the bosom of the Father. Meaning he was always
in his presence.
He was in his father's lap. This always meant
those who were in his presence.
Always careful to listen to what the Father
says.
Always be careful to listen to what the
Father says.
So for Us If We Are to Follow Jesus and to
Be Fruitful in Our Ministry. Number one
point what is it?
So what is the first point for us if we want our
relationship to be strong and to be fruitful in ministry
?
Sorry
first
what's that?
What is the first point?
Which language you are talking.
Which language
Hindi and English? I can't understand.
Choose One Language and Say.
Choose one language and speak it.
Intimacy with the OK Say It in English Hindi
Students Also Say It in English Hindi
People
First One
What is the first one
intimacy with God This intimacy will come only if you
make that
decision
and this intimacy will come only if you make that decision Jesus could have
said that I am already the
Son of God. I don't have to
pray
and I need to pray I don't have to
go and you know struggle and go
to a mountain and pray I can just do what I have to do I do
n't have to go and you know struggle and go to a mountain and pray I can just do what I have to do
Jesus recognized that there is a need to have that
intimacy with the Father at all times
No, but Jesus recognized that there is
no need to always be in intimacy with God.
And he said the X for you and me
and for you and me he did that example
there. Second,
Teaching and Preaching. To
teach and preach.
One of the greatest
things that we read from the Gospels is the
teaching and the preaching of Jesus.
And the greatest thing we
learn from them in the Gospels is teaching and
preaching.
Three Things Jesus Always Did.
Three things Jesus always did.
Teaching is to
educate.
Preaching.
And Working of Miracles. and
perform signs and miracles. Two women always happen wherever they go. It
always happened wherever he went. But
listen, Jesus was also a powerful teacher and a
preacher.
And also note that Jesus
Christ was a very powerful teacher and
preacher.
Jesus spent a lot of time probably
reading from the Old Testament.
And Jesus may have
spent a lot of time learning from the Old Testament.
Now it's not that Jesus is the Son of God. So he just came like this, he did like this
Old Testament study over
and it is not that when Jesus
was the Son of God, he must have
read the entire teachings of the Old Testament, the
Bible says he grew in wisdom, that means he studied, he learned
and the Bible tells that he grew in wisdom,
it means he sat, he learned and
understood
and he eventually developed the ability to teach
and preach
and then gradually he
increased his ability to teach and preach.
Sorry lots of lots
of places we see Jesus
teachings. In
many places we see the teachings of Jesus.
And Some of Them Are in Parables.
And some of it is in the parables of what is.
And parables are simply meaning an earthly
story with a heavenly meaning. And the
simple meaning of parables is that
what is an earthly story is for a heavenly
purpose. Meaning let me give you an example,
an example is the Parable of the Sower
and the parable of the
Sower, Jesus is talking to thousands of people
and you are talking to thousands of people. He is
teaching them.
He is teaching them. So he sowed the
seeds
and that the sower went to sow the seeds, some
fell on rocky places
and some fell on rocky ground, some fell on
thorns and some fell on good ground, some fell
on soft soil
and some fell on very moist soil
and he is teaching the people and another example could be where he is talking about
the parables of the Kingdom. The Kingdom
parables
and if there are any other examples then he is
teaching about the parables of the Kingdom.
About Being a Good Steward for
God's Kingdom and Everyone Are Getting It to Be a Good Steward for God's Kingdom.
And everyone is able to understand it. Give something about his
teaching.
And there is something in his teaching. Then the Parable
of Lostness.
And then there's the
parable of those who are lost, Woman Lost the Coin in the House.
And the woman who was there lost the coin in her house.
And She's Looking All Over in the House.
And she is searching everywhere in the house.
And finally she found that coin. And then
finally she finds him and she was
so happy
and she was very happy then there was a
parable of the lost son
and then there was a parable of the lost son there were
two brothers one of them said give me my
money one of them
said give me all my money
and he went away from the house the father left
the father and went away
but after spending all the money he comes back home.
The Father Says My Son Was Lost
Now I Am Now He Is Found.
And the father then says that
I have now found my son who was lost. There was something about his
teaching.
And there was something about his education.
That in one place there were 5000 people singing
and listening to him.
And at one place, 5000 people were sitting
and listening to him. Why would
5000 people come and listen to
him? The
5000 people who will come will sit and listen to him.
Because he was teaching with such authority and such
power.
Because he was teaching with great authority and
power.
Some of them you know in one ok it's really
interesting when you read the small
snippets from the Bible.
And when we read these small stories
from the Bible, it is very interesting.
The Persian Said We Have to Arrest This Follow
Jesus.
And the Pharisees say we have to catch hold of this Jesus.
So they sent three gods.
And they send three more gods.
Go arrest him and bring him. And go and
catch him and bring him back. They Went
and Came Back.
And they go and come back.
Ten Jesus
's Where is Jesus?
No we couldn't go near him.
That no, we could not go to him. Why
?
Why?
Because this teaching is in true authority.
Because he is teaching with great authority. They couldn't even go
near Jesus.
And he couldn't even go to Jesus.
That's the power of his teaching and preaching.
And this is his power to teach and preach.
Imagine him teaching you no 5000 people are there.
He is educating 5000 people.
And he is preaching about may you know
God's kingdom and how God is a miracle
worker.
And they are preaching about the kingdom of God and
how miraculous God is.
And they said okay there is no food.
And they say there is no food now.
What do you have?
And what do you have?
Five Lo Bread and Two Fish.
Five loaves of bread and two fish.
Okay bring it to me.
Okay, bring them to us.
And it wasn't just preaching and teaching.
But he demonstrated it with science wonders
and it was not only about teaching or preaching
but he
also demonstrated it with signs and miracles. See anyone
can talk
and so everyone can talk.
You saw some followers
so did you notice that these people do
not know how to talk,
they know how to talk
but when the rubber meets the road that means when you tell them to do something they want to do it
means when we tell them to do something
they do not do it
you don't have friends like that
you don't have friends like that I only have
friends like that that means one
friend I had is
a friend of Pastor ji.
Every time he says to Will, 'See, while
riding a bicycle, I can do this, I can do that'
and while riding a bicycle, he can do this, he can do that.
So one day I said you take my bicycle and show
me.
And he said, take my bicycle one day and show me.
You know the best part is he didn't know how to ride a
bicycle. The
best thing was that he did not know how to ride a bicycle. He
said no eye spray in my leg.
And he says no, it will hit my leg.
Only talk,
only talk, nothing else.
Jesus was not like that.
You also don't be like that. And if Jesus was not like that, then you too should
n't be like that. Jesus was somebody who
spoke and he said he will do it.
And Jesus was someone who spoke and
he will do it. And he spoke about so many other topics. Repentance, faith,
Kingdom of Heaven,
eternal life.
And he talked about so many other topics. He talked about
repentance, faith, kingdom of God
and about life, about
discipleship, about salvation.
Think of this. The
Jews and the Samaritans hated each other. And look, the Jews and the Samaritans
hated each other.
Jesus is sitting there and he is telling a story, a
parable.
Jesus is sitting there and telling a parable.
The
Good Samaritan. Now
if we were there, we would have said, wait, wait, wait,
sir. The title is wrong.
And the title of the preaching. The title of the preaching. Yes,
that is wrong.
You Can Say the Samaritan Is Not Good Samaritans
Are Not Good
You can say Samaritan but you cannot say Good Samaritan.
But Jesus was teaching in such power that they were
able to understand,
but what he was teaching
so well was teaching you.
He understood what he was teaching.
Jesus you know he was able to articulate his
teaching and preaching in a very simple
meaningful way and he was able to bring out his teaching and
preaching in a very simple and meaningful way
and he used what was
around at that time to bring about the
truth [sound of clearing throat] of God's
world
and he used whatever was around him to bring about the truth of God's word
he used the
parable of the sower
and he used the parable of the sower if you have faith as small as a
mustard seed you can tell the
mountains
and he says if you have
faith as small as a mustard seed you
can tell the mountains.
Jerusalem was filled with mountains.
And Jerusalem was full of mountains.
Yerrum was also filled with grape wine which was
famous during that time.
And what Jerusalem was was full of admissions.
Say I am the vine you are the branches.
And he says that I am the vine.
You have eaten the food. See you see how he is
teaching.
And look how he is teaching. He is
bringing what is there around and he is
teaching the Word. Taking those who are around there and
teaching them the Word of God.
So teaching and preaching was a very important
aspect of Jesus' ministry.
And so teaching and preaching was a
very important aspect of Jesus' ministry.
Now It's Sent For Us.
And so this is important for us. There
is a time for testimony.
And there is a time for testimony also.
God is a good God, we testify we are good.
God is a good God. We test it.
But we do not replace testimony for the
Word of God. But
we don't change testimonies there for the Word of God. The
Word of God is Something That We Must Always
Teach and Preach. The
Word of God is something
we should always be teaching, preaching. That's why if
you look at us as a church we
always have at least 45 minutes of teaching
and preaching on Sunday.
And so if you
look at us as a church, every Sunday we have at least 45
minutes to preach.
We Always Focus On Teaching The Word.
And we always pay attention to the teachings of God's Word.
We Always Focus On
Building You Up To The Word Of God.
And we always focus on
building you up through the Word of God.
So what is teaching? Simply means
explaining God's truth.
And what is education? Simple means
telling the truth of God's Word.
Preaching Means Proclaiming the Kingdom. To
preach means to proclaim the kingdom of God.
In Towards the End of the
Great Apostle Paul's Life and the Apostle Paul,
who was great, this is his
last letter,
his last letter, writing to
Timothy. He's writing from
Second Timothy, chapter four through five,
and Second Timothy, chapter four verses one and
five.
Let's read that. Now this is the last letter,
and this is his last letter. If
you are saying the last few things, what would you say most? If you were saying the last few things,
what would you say most?
Right?
You will tell your friends and your family
the most important things you want to communicate.
So the most
important things you want to tell your family or friends will be
spoken. What
he says is that he says this
in the presence of God and of Christ
Jesus who will judge the living and the dead. And
in the appearance and in the view of the appearing of
His Kingdom. I give you this charge. CREATE THE
WORD BE PREPARED IN SEASON AND OUT OF SEASON
CORRECT REBUKE ENCOURAGE WITH GREAT PATIENCE
AND CAREFUL INSTRUCTION
And he says I charge you in the sight of God and of Christ Jesus,
who is to judge the living and the dead,
and in the sight of his appearing and his kingdom, that
you may be
ready in season and out of season, by preaching the word. Rebuke,
rebuke, and explain with all tolerance and education.
Paul is exorcising his last few instructions. He is
saying to the people that whatever happens, whatever happens,
preach the Word in season, out of season,
preach the Word of God in season and out of
season.
Weather you are happy or sad,
whether you are happy or sad, whether you
are in jail or out of jail, whether there is persecution or no persecution, whether there is punishment or no
punishment, whether people persecute, whether people
make fun of you or
mock you, and whether they don't, whether people make fun of you
or don't believe you,
and whether people believe you or don't believe you,
reach the Word of God. Preach the Word of God.
Forget that verse.
Efficacy 320
and Efficacy 33 So no, no,
sorry, it's here, okay, act. 2032
sorry
and the act is in 2032
now again this is Paul
and again this is Paul
let me give you the context in Acts 2032
and the act is in 2032 the context has been
in Ephesus for three years now
and Paul stays in Ephesus for three years
he built the church he is going to
Jerusalem
and from Ephesus he is going to Jerusalem and he
knows he is not going to see them again
and he knew that he was
not going to see them again. This is the last time he's
gonna see that.
This is the last time he's gonna see that. Let's Read the
Effigy Acts 20 32
Let's Read the Effigy Acts 20 32
or what does
he say to what does he say to now I
commit you to God
He says I commit you to God
and the word of his grace
and the word of his grace. So this is
the last time I'm talking to the
Ephesian elders
and the last
time I'm talking to the Ephesian leaders. Telling the elders and
those who were the leaders, I was telling them.
I commit you to God.
And the word of His grace that is able to build
you up and give you an inheritance.
And I entrust to you the word of His grace which can
elevate you and give you Mirage.
The Word of H Grace. And the word of His grace
Now Paul is not saying
remember the miracles we did and Paul is not saying remember the miracles we did remember the worship
times we had
and the worship times we had so I commend you to
the word of His grace this
word will carry you
and he is saying God the word of His grace will carry
you so we see the importance
of reading teaching and
preaching the word of God
and so we see the
importance of reading and understanding the word of God preaching many many verses in the Bible talk
about the power of Gods word and many more
verses in the Bible
talk about the power of Gods word.
Hebrews 4:12 says the word of God is alive
and powerful sharper than a double edge so
and Hebrews 4:12 says the word of God is
alive and powerful sharper than a double edged sword.
Alive and Powerful
This Book Is Not Simply Some Book You Are
Reading. And this isn't just any ordinary book
you're reading.
It's a life, it's powerful.
It is alive and powerful. Starper than a
double edge
and even with any double edged sword Penetrates
Dividing Soul Spirit Joint and Marrow.
And they go on separating what is there in the soul and the body.
Pisces
What does this mean? The Word of God Can
Bring Healing to Your Body to Your Spirit
to Your Soul Every Part of You. And the
Word of God can bring healing to every part of your body, both the
body and the soul.
Psalms 1195 says
your word is a lamp unto my feet and a
light unto my power
and psalm 100 and psalm 119 verse
105 says your word is a lamp unto my feet.
So we see the significance of the Word
and so we see the significance of the Word.
Look at Jesus when he started his ministry he went and
found why did Jesus just go and say I am
the Messiah
and see why Jesus said as he was going
that I am the Messiah
but he went to the Scriptures
but he went to the Word
and through the Scriptures he showed them who the
Messiah is
and with the Word he showed
who the Messiah is the Spirit of the Lord is upon me
and he says that this is the Lord Jehovah who has
anointed me
and he has anointed me should through
the Scriptures.
He showed it through words. So when you
and I are in you know as God's people as we are
ministering to people don't forget to
preach the word of God.
And when you and I are serving with God's people, don't
forget to preach His Word.
Sometimes we can go on with stories and
stories and stories. And so many times we
can go on telling stories stories stories.
This is one time I was I was I was singing
in one conference
and once the pastor was sitting in a conference
and the pastor came there were about 200 to 300
people
and there were about 200 to 300 people a pastor
came.
So I was excited to hear the world because
every time we are preaching. So I was
excited to sit and listen to the
world.
And so every time he was preaching,
he would sit there eager to hear the Word.
So this pastor
came and he
started shaking
and he came and he started shaking and then he sat
on the ground
and then he sat on the ground and said
the glory is too much
and he says that the glory of God is too great then he said I will
change your story
and he says that I will change the story then he started reciting
words
and he started telling the words in a different way
clapping
and everyone is clapping then he started singing
one song
and then he started singing and the song
started he told the drummer to play this beat
and he started telling the drummer to
play this beat
20 minutes went by and 20 minutes went by then after that he started telling when I was a
small boy
and then after that he started telling that when
I was a small boy
I was getting upset
and the pastor got upset I want to know what you did when you were small
and he doesn't want to know what you did when you were small I want to know what you are
going to
preach
and we want to know what you are going to preach and then he started talking about all
random things
and she started talking about some random things.
Somewhere that one story went to honey
and somewhere that story ended up being about honey.
No honey honey
you know it's honey honey that's correct.
Honey what
okay that honey I don't know where it went honey. I do
n't know how that story reached honey.
And It Went All Around the Place. And she
travels through all the places. Then
suddenly he said I am an apostle.
And then suddenly he says I am inspired. These are my
children.
And all these are my children. There are
20 children there.
And there were about 20 people there [laughs].
So I say where you had 20 children.
And in the end he said now I am imposing
my unintention over everyone.
And then at the end he says that my
Abhishek is all of you who want
the uninitiating stand up.
And whoever wants to be anointed, please stand up. I said I don't want you on this,
I will not stand. The pastor said no, I will not stand, I don't want to pray.
Then he said a prayer
to the chip and he started swinging
and taking out his handkerchief, he
started waving it. Now everyone has
received the anointing
and everyone who has received the anointing, those who want to give
₹000 stand up
and whoever wants to give 5000 rupees should
stand up
and stand there. ₹
3000,
₹000 here,
₹1000,
₹1000 there over there. That's the conference and that's all the
conference showed and I looked at
those people and looked at them, my heart broke and
my heart broke.
What foolishness is this
and what foolishness is this, many of them have come with a broken
heart
and many of them had come with a broken heart.
Many of them have come.
Expecting healing
and deliverance from
God Many of them came with
financial burdens and financial burdens expecting healing and deliverance from God.
And this foolishness is
being them. And this stupidity is being done here.
I really broke my heart.
And he was very sad about that.
We must no matter what reach the world. Nothing else matters.
But we are to
preach the Word of God. Word
will touch people life. It is the
Word of God that changes people's lives. The
Word Will Change You.
And it is His Word that will change you. The
Word Will Be You Will Be Able to Destroy the
Works of the Enemy Through the Word of God
and the Word of God, we will be
able to destroy the works of the enemy.
So variant lesson for us.
And you are a very important lesson for us, keep
reading the word. Keep
reading God's Word. Keep
reading it. Keep even if it's the same thing
again and again.
And even if it is the same thing, keep reading it again and again.
We Have Our Publications If You Finish Reading
Our APC Publications You Will Be
Ready to Teach.
And if you finish reading our APC publications.
If you have studied everything then
you will also be eligible to teach Masters.
I am telling you the truth.
And so this subject that is telling you
wealth of these from all from God's word
from this APC publication. All the rest of the
information is
given through God's Word.
Everything is the word.
Everything is in Him through the Word.
And people we send the publications all over
India in different countries. And all these
books of publications go all over India
and other countries also. Why
? Because it is the word of God.
Because that is the word of God.
Amen.
Right? So fill up yourself with the word.
And then prepare yourself to read the Word. There are
times you may not understand.
And there will be times when you don't understand.
It is okay. So that's
fine. Learn to learn. See now we are
in a time when you can just
go to Google. We have you know different
options available. We can learn. And so right now
we're at a time where we have a lot of
options.
We can learn more things by going to Google.
So if we want to follow Jesus we need to be
strong in the Word.
And if we want to follow Jesus,
we need to be strong in the Word.
Third Point
We See That Jesus Was Doing the Fathers
Works.
And we see Jesus doing the Father's
works.
John chapter 10 and 24 and 25 let's go there.
John Chapter 10 Verses 24 and 25
John Chapter 10 Verses 24 and 25 The Juices Gathered
Around Him Saying How Long Will You Keep Us
in Suspense If You Are the Christ Tell Us
Plainly Jesus Answered I Did Tell You But You Do
Not Believe the Miracles I Do in My
Father's Name
Speak for Me.
Then the Jews surrounded him and asked, “
How long will you keep us in suspense?” If
you are the Christ, tell us clearly. Jesus
answered them, I told you,
but you do not believe. The works that I do in
my Father's name bear
witness about me.
It's very interesting in chapter no you know that
blind man was healed.
And so it's very interesting that
in chapter nine you know the blind man was
healed. So the Pharisees are
investigating
and so the Pharisees were investigating who you are from when you are born when you are blind, how long have
you been blind, who came
and healed you,
who came and healed you,
the whole investigation gets over
and the whole investigation gets over
in chapter 10,
Jesus is talking about the Shepherd and the
flock of my sheep will hear my voice,
Jesus is talking about his shepherd and the sheep
that my sheep hear my voice and he says I am
the Good Shepherd and he says
I am the good shepherd.
Now the Just the Fussy and the Rulers of the Law They Are
Getting Headaches.
And the Pharisees and those who
kept the rules got a headache. Why
? Because firstly nobody is listening to them.
Why? Because first of all, no one was
listening to him. And everyone is following this
Jesus.
And everyone was following Jesus. He is
doing really great miracles.
And he is performing very great miracles.
Fasi can't do it.
Persians cannot do it.
So they don't even want Jesus to do it. And they do
n't even want Jesus to come to
Jesus and they ask
and they come to Jesus and ask
if you are the Messiah, just
tell us if you are the Messiah, I like
Jesus' response
and I like Jesus's answer, he says, I already told you, you see the works I am doing,
and he says, I have already
told you, you see the works I am doing,
the works point to my Father
and the works are focused towards my Father. Everything I do, everything I do.
The Healings The Healings The Miracles
The Miracles The
Deliverances
All That I Am Doing Points to the Father All that
I am doing points to the Father.
It points to the fact
that I
am in the Father, the Father in me, and I am the Messiah.
Example
example
long time back one of my friends
a Muslim guy
and pastor ji a Muslim friend he
asked me if Jesus was the Messiah why didn't he say I am
the Messiah follow me he doesn't say
it in the Bible
so he was asking that if Jesus was the Messiah then
why didn't he say I am the
Messiah follow me so I asked him
and so he asked him when
you introduce yourself do you say I am a
boy.
And when you introduce yourself, what do you
say, I am a boy. I have
two eyes.
And I have two eyes.
And two hands.
And there are two hands.
And my name is this.
And this is my name. Do
You Say Like That?
So do you say it this way? He said no.
He says no.
So why should Jesus say?
So why?
I am the Masaya.
Why should Jesus say I
am the Messiah?
He nos he is the masaya. He knows he is the
Messiah.
Same way you know you're a boy. That's how
you know you're having a boy.
You are not saying I am a boy.
And you are not saying that you are a boy.
The Same Way Jesus Knows He Is The Maasai. He is
saying I know I am the Maasai look at the
works. In the
same way Jesus knows that Christ and he is saying
look at my works.
Is there anyone who changes the water into wine?
So is there anyone who can turn water into liquor
?
Is There Anyone Who Walks on Water? Is there
anyone who has walked on water? Is there
anyone who took five lots of bread to
fish and fed 5,000 people?
And is there anyone who took five loaves of bread and two
fish and fed 5000 people?
Is There Anyone Who Healed the Leper
So is there anyone who has
healed a leper? Is there anyone who healed the
blind man and the deaf and the mute and the
lame the paralyzed? Has
anyone healed the blind, the lame, the deaf, the mute or the
people walking in cloaks? Nobody has done that.
Nobody has done that. And you are
asking me are you the Messiah. And you are asking me are you the Messiah. Jesus is
saying look at the works
and Jesus is saying look at those works
which point to the Father.
You can't do it.
You can't do it because you are not doing the will of the Father.
And So Very If You and I Want to
Work in the Science Wonders and Miracles.
And so very important if we
want to do these signs, miracles, amazing things.
This is to understand that you are doing the father's
work.
So this is to understand that we are doing the will of the Father.
You are not building your own ministry.
You are not creating your own ministry.
Yes in the natural it is you will have a name and
all of that.
Yes, naturally that name and all that will happen.
But the bigger picture is you are building
God's Kingdom doing the Father's work. The
big picture is that you are building the kingdom of God.
Fulfilling his wish. C R Greatest
Fulfillment in Life.
And our most important abundance is
in our life.
Is not found in success and recognition. That
success and recognition are not known.
But it is found in faithfully serving God where he has
placed you. And that faithfulness is
worthily known in the way we serve wherever He has placed us.
It's Not How Much We Do It's
not about how much we do.
It's How Faithfully We Do It.
And that's how much we trust it
with competence. To See The Parable
of the Stewards.
And look at the illustrations of stewardship.
To one you know the one who was given five he made
a 10
and the one who was given five he made a 10. The
person who had three made it double and the person who had
three doubled it again and the person had one
but the person who had one he
went and dug it up and he said no
and went and
buried it safe and he says I have kept it
safe
he did not use it he was a good
steward of the talent that was given to him
and he was a
good steward of the talents that were given to him but the thing
but here Jesus
says greater works than I do you will do
and
greater works than I do you will do. The Lord Jesus said
greater things than what I do you will do.
And Jesus says that
you will do greater works than He did because I am
going to the Father.
Because I go to the Father.
And the Father will release the unintention upon you.
And the Father will release the anointing upon you.
Jesus fulfilled his assignments.
And Jesus
completed the task he had been given. He went to the cross
and he went to the cross even when it's
costly
and even when it was very costly yet
doing the Father's works is easy when things are going well everything is easy in
life doing the
Father's works is easy when
everything is going well in our life
but what about when a difficult time comes
but what about when a difficult time comes what about during
a painful season God tells you to
do this and when there is a painful time in that what about that we pray and we say
God bless us and he bless us we pray
God
blesses us
and it is a joy to get blessed by God
and it is a great joy to be
blessed by God what about when
God says give
but what about when God says to
give I
rebuke this thought in Jesus name
and I rebuke this thought in Jesus name
says what We
say this sometimes God will say give, so we say reject this thought, it is more blessed to give than to
receive
and it is very blessed to give than to receive
so the Father when you
and I are doing miracles
working the miracles it is not us it is we are
doing the Father's works here in this
kingdom
and so when we are doing signs and wonders
those works are not ours but we are doing the
Father's works
amen and he is calling all of us to do the
words.
And He is calling us all to do all these things.
Last point,
last point, Jesus himself discipled others.
And Jesus discipled others.
We see that the Lord Jesus first thing in his
ministry what did he do.
And we see what the first thing Jesus Christ did in His ministry.
Even before the first miracle. Even
before his first miracle he had few
disciples with him.
He had some disciples. It's interesting how they did see a
miracle yet they followed
Jesus and it's very interesting that
they didn't even see a miracle yet they
followed Jesus they
saw something in him and they saw something
about this man and John the
Baptist
said go don't be
with me you go with him
Jesus raised up 12 disciples
and Jesus raised up 12 disciples and prepared a
very important lesson for us
Jesus could have done his ministry alone
Jesus could have done his ministry alone there could have been
just two people
one to cook food and you know one to help him one to cook food
and one to help the other
but he didn't do that but he
chose 12 people he took them
with him they slept with him they saw him every
day We
ate together, we slept together, we saw Him every day.
John says to the
end of his Gospel, he says this testimony is true. The One whom we have touched and we have handled is whom we are talking about. And that is why John, in the last part of his
Gospel, says that this
person whom we have seen and touched, this
testimony we are giving is the
12 disciples.
12 disciples later on appoint 70 people.
Later, he prepares these 70 people.
He made them to go by two. He said go
and he said go,
whatever you have
heard me preach, you go and preach. He
equips them, he
empowers them. No, I am just giving an example. I may be after
preaching a sermon. Jesus would go back and
explain it to the disciples.
And maybe just for example,
after preaching, go and look at your faces. So let's
tell it again, that's what he did in the
parable of the sower,
and that's what Jesus did in the parable of the sower,
Jesus would have spent many hours being with his
disciples and teaching them, and
Jesus must have spent many hours being with his disciples,
teaching them, and then he sent them
to make disciples,
and then he sends them out to make disciples, and put on what he had thought them,
and to pass on what he had taught them to others,
this is the mandate for you and I. Well,
this is the only way that has been laid out for us and
you,
we must do the same thing, we must do the same thing, prepare
people, get them ready
for the ministry,
and prepare them for the ministry
10 years from now,
we must have new leaders.
We will have new leaders.
Great pastors, great pastors, great teachers
and great non-teachers, great people in business, in
education.
Very good people in business and education. Everywhere We
Must Have Men and Women of
God.
And we must have God's people everywhere. We
must raise people.
But we have to make people stand up.
Give opportunities.
They have to be given opportunities. Encourage them.
encourage them.
Correct them.
Correct them. Build
them up and eventually they will become
leaders in what God has called them
and eventually they will become leaders in what God has called them
a beautiful
example and we will close
and very beautiful example then we will close
Paul was on a second missionary journey
and when Paul was on his second ministry journey ah he met
with Tibetans
he met Timothy was only about probably
17 years old
and Timothy was only probably 17 years old. The
young man is
very young. The Bible Says That the Church
Had a Good Report About Him.
And but the Bible tells us that
he had a good knowledge of that Tamothis about the church.
Imagine This
and Imagine This
The Apostle Paul
Apostle Paul
Great Man of God.
And the great man of God took this
17 year old boy for his second missionary
journey. For his second ministry journey, he
took a 17-year-old boy
and he did not take him as a servant, but he said, "I will get
beaten, I will get arrested." Then,
after that, you come and massage my leg. Okay, Timothy, I will be beaten, I will be killed. Then, come and serve me everywhere. That's why
Paul writes, "My son in Christ, who served with me, is
my son, a
faithful servant of Christ,
and a faithful servant of Christ. And many years have
gone by,
and many years have passed, Timothy has witnessed everything that
Paul has gone through,
and Timothy has seen with his own eyes everything
that Paul went through.
Ministry is not easy now, he knows it,
and he knew that ministry is not easy now."
Paul is beaten, he is a fellow servant in Christ. Paul put in prison, he has
seen Paul coming back from beatings,
going to prison, he is Paul preaching
powerfully and touching lives, and he has seen
Paul preaching powerfully, he is Paul
standing before leaders and preaching the
Gospels,
he has seen Paul standing before leaders and
preaching the Gospels, he has seen
Paul starting churches, he has
seen Paul starting the church, so he has seen both
sides of ministry,
so he has seen both sides of ministry, now about may be you know may be about
15 years later,
and maybe after 15 years,
the church and Ephesus already has leaders,
and the church which was the church of Ephesus, they
already have
bishops and deacons and everyone of them,
and there were bishops and deacons, all those people,
but Paul says that you are the leader of the church,
but Paul says that you are the leader of this church, do not
disregard your young age
and your youth. These are the days of do
not despise them
you have you have been prepared as a leader
and you who have been led and prepared to take
the church and Ephesus forward and Timothy took the church
of Ephesus forward we are to build each other up
and we are to build each other up
and lift them up
and lift them up that is what Jesus did
and that is what
ministry is all about
and that is what ministry is all about
amen when so all of us I pray that we would put all the
principles begin to learn it
and apply it in our life
we pray that all of you who have
taken all these principles and rules will go further in applying them.
Right? Ok.
Let's pray and we close.
Let us pray.
Lord we thank you for this time. Lord
thank you for everything that you are teaching us
through your world. Lord help us to follow this.
Help us to keep our role model only one
and you Lord Jesus. And we ask
Lord each one of us who are singing here. Lord we
ask your power of the Holy Spirit to
guide us and to lead us through out their
journey and even in their journey when they go out
of this college Lord we ask your power
to empower them to preach your word boldly without any fear Lord
and we thank you for
this time I will give you glory honor you in
Jesus name I pray Amen thank
you thank
you pastor
thank you sir
