DAV Patriot’s Pitch contest - Keith Jenkins - Warrior's Crown
Watch on YouTubeVideo summary
Keith Jenkins, a retired Army Command Sergeant Major with over two decades of service in Army Aviation, is the founder and CEO of Warrior's Crown, a veteran-owned premium scalp care brand dedicated to men who are bald or shave their heads. As an alum of the DAV Patriot Bootcamp's fall 2025 cohort, Jenkins identifies with the struggles faced by many men whose receding hairlines lead to diminished confidence and social withdrawal. He emphasizes that his mission goes beyond mere aesthetics; it is about restoring coin, confidence, and connection for men who often feel invisible or judged based on their appearance rather than their character or achievements.
The core of Jenkins' argument centers on the necessity of protecting the scalp from irritation, flakiness, and the serious threat of skin cancer, a risk he personally survived. He critiques current market offerings, noting that many lotions leave greasy residues that clog pores while exfoliators strip away natural oils, leaving men with little effective protection. In response, Warrior's Crown offers a specialized product line featuring hydration formulas that lock in moisture all day and an SPF 30 solution called the Sentinel to shield against sun damage. Jenkins highlights that these products provide not only physical safety but also a natural glow through sunless tanning, empowering bald men to stand confidently on stages and in social settings without fear of judgment or harm.
Jenkins presents a compelling business case for his venture, citing a massive market opportunity where over 70 billion dollars are spent annually on men's grooming, with scalp care alone representing a significant niche. Having developed their products and conducted extensive testing with 150 customers within the last year, the company has already secured recurring revenue through subscriptions and built credibility with a base of loyal clients who have left five-star reviews. The brand leverages diverse distribution channels including Shopify, TikTok Shop, Amazon, partnerships with barber shops across the nation, and retail locations in dermatologist offices, aiming to become a first-mover leader in this specialized category while enhancing the resale value and community standing of its customers.
Looking toward the future, Jenkins outlines ambitious goals to expand Warrior's Crown's impact by building a stronger community and exploring government procurement contracts for their skin care lotions. The company is deeply rooted in its local environment, drawing support from Clarksville, Tennessee, major barber shops in the area, military exchanges at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and creative partners like Boom Boom Creatives and Alora Labs. Driven by his personal journey as a bald leader who has commanded thousands of soldiers, Jenkins concludes that true strength lies in embracing one's crown boldly, proving that bald men do not hide but instead lead with courage and integrity.

most of all, the credibility with our
customers.

the contracting for the government
agencies with our skin care lotions.
