Video summary
Melissa Armous from Stock Swiss reviews a highly successful options trade she executed on Crowd stock just before its earnings report, which resulted in a massive upward movement known as a power trend. The stock opened significantly higher than expected and surged to brand new all-time highs, reaching a target price of 229 within a single day. This specific type of move is characterized by the asset going in one direction consistently from the opening bell until the close, providing an ideal scenario for holding positions with confidence. Armous emphasizes that such powerful trends do not happen every time there is a gap up, making this particular instance a rare and exceptional opportunity that she capitalized on effectively.
The primary lesson highlighted in the review revolves around the critical importance of taking profits immediately when a trade moves exceptionally well, rather than being greedy or hoping for even higher gains. Armous explains that while she successfully exited her position yesterday to lock in substantial gains, some viewers who missed the initial entry or failed to exit quickly found themselves facing a dramatic reversal the very next day. Although the market was not collapsing and there were no obvious negative news reports at the time of the drop, the stock unexpectedly gapped down today, illustrating how unpredictable markets can be. She uses this sharp contrast between yesterday's success and today's decline to reinforce the adage that one cannot look a gift horse in the mouth, urging traders to book profits when they are up significantly on a trade.
To ensure her subscribers do not miss these fleeting opportunities, Armous sends out her preferred trades via newsletter before the market opens, giving investors ample time to organize and execute their orders quickly. She notes that while some people might hesitate or overthink the entry, the best moves often require immediate action because they can explode right out of the gate. The video serves as a cautionary tale for those who held onto the position too long or failed to enter at all, showing them exactly what happens when one misses the exit on a runaway trade. Ultimately, the review concludes by celebrating the successful execution of the call yesterday while advising everyone to remain disciplined and ready to act swiftly in future volatile market conditions.

Hello there everyone, welcome. This is
Melissa Armous Stock Swiss reviewing
Crowd. So, this was actually a call
that we did yesterday that worked out
beautifully.
Um and we did it. It was an earnings
gap. It closed here on the 26th at
189.18.
It opened here at 208.25.
Um I sent the newsletter out for the
calls before the open and it ran up big
time.
Um in fact, it made brand new all-time
highs. Could have worked 229. So, I got
out of it yesterday cuz it had an insane
move. When you get an insane move in an
option, you do have to get out of it.
>> [laughter]
>> Whether that happens the day that you do
it or the second day, I mean, you can't
look a gift horse in the mouth mouth and
be a piggy about it.
If anybody didn't get out,
look what it did yesterday here today.
I didn't really look up the news on
this. I don't know why this is totally
reversed yesterday, but it's very
interesting cuz I will tell you this is
this is not something normal. Um this
doesn't normally happen like this. And
the market actually isn't collapsing
today. So, there's really no reason for
the for this to be happening. And on top
of that, this actually gapped up.
It actually gapped up today.
So, uh
but but this was a phenomenal call
yesterday.
It's one of those ones where it's a
power trend. We don't get power trends
in every gap. A power trend is when
something goes one direction the entire
day. Literally that you could do it out
of the gate and hold it pretty much into
the close for the best best exit. And
that is exactly what happened with this.
But I'm I'm doing this video cuz I'm
actually shocked
that this is falling today. I did not
short this. Why would I do it? Again, it
was a good long play yesterday.
And I don't always go long, but when I
see a good gap, I mean, I'm going to do
it. And this was a good gap yesterday.
And again, there must have been some
kind of news on this today. I'll have to
look it up later, but this was a great
option call yesterday. And to my
knowledge, everybody did get out
yesterday. But this just also proves
another point. You can't be a pig.
You were pig in this.
You missed the exit.
Here was yesterday.
Show that.
Again, this is a power trend.
You had to get in it
and get the run up. Actually, one person
did email me that they totally missed it
cuz it went so fast. You know, but
that's why you got to be ready. And I
always send the trades out that I like
in the pre-market. Not that we never do
any live day, but I give people plenty
of time to get organized. So, you got to
be on your ball on your game to get in
quick because you never know if it's
going to go boom right out of the gate.
And the best ones do. The best ones do.
So, why not do it out of the gate? But
this is a power trend. So, this stock
got bought crazy yesterday. Went to the
dream target, everything. Made brand new
all-time highs. Again, what this is
doing today is shocking.
Shocking to me. So, again, I got out,
but
we we went long this yesterday, and it
worked.
And and to my knowledge, everybody got
out. But a good example of why you can't
look a gift horse in the mouth. When you
get a power trend move
and you're up a lot of money
and you take it and it goes, especially
if it goes immediately like this did,
you got to book the profits.
So, nice call yesterday on this.
I'll watch this next week see what
happens with this next week.
But for now, Friday morning, looking
forward to the weekend. Have a great
day, everyone.
