Video summary

On July 15th, 2025, shortly after the release of the BFDI episode "Teapot: Last One Standing," the official Jack and Jelly website was hacked by an unknown individual, replacing its content with a link to a disturbing fan game titled LEAF. The game presented itself as a barebones point-and-click experience where players assume the role of Leafy, the sole survivor of a battle royale gone wrong. According to the in-game lore provided via sticky notes and dialogue, an evil version of Leafy sought to reclaim her power from Two, leading to the deaths of all other contestants. The narrative quickly deviated from canon facts, incorrectly identifying Leafy as the primary antagonist rather than Grassy, which immediately confused but intrigued the player who decided to document their experience in real-time. The gameplay loop consisted of repetitive tasks over five days, involving repairing a broken wireless recovery center, scavenging parts in a desolate forest, solving puzzles at a workbench, and checking on Two's room. As the days progressed, the atmosphere grew increasingly unsettling through visual changes, such as Leafy's sprite shifting from green to yellow, orange, and finally red, alongside the introduction of cryptic and emotionally manipulative sticky notes with messages like "I love you" mixed with despair. By the third day, a faceless, red entity representing evil Leafy appeared in the forest, emitting wet squelching sounds upon interaction. The tension escalated on the fourth day when the player discovered that Two had committed suicide via overdose and bleach ingestion, leaving their room filled with rotting remains, vomit, blood, and buzzing flies, while a mysterious gun was revealed to be the culmination of the player's scavenging efforts. The game concluded on the fifth day, titled "Acceptance," where the player was confined indoors as music played from a radio and could no longer leave the garage. Leafy, now fully red and calm, walked into Two's room with the gun and slammed the door shut, leading to a black screen followed by a final, terrifying image of the player's own reflection staring back at them in silence. The game became unplayable after this ending, preventing any replay or reloading. While some observers dismissed the hack as a mere attempt to scare children or an elaborate ARG, the creator remained convinced there was a deeper, darker reason behind the event, expressing a conflicted desire for someone to archive the footage before it disappeared forever, hoping that sharing the story would finally provide answers to the lingering questions surrounding this disturbing digital horror.

The formidable robot. [music] At 2 p.m. on July 15th, 2025, shortly after the YouTube release of Teapot 19 last one standing, the Jack Angely website would be hacked by a currently unknown individual, changing most of the text to a link that leads to a game known simply as Leaf, all capital [music] letters. We have various accounts from individuals who played the game during the short amount of time that the hacked version of the site was up. However, this one from Twitter and Discord [music] user Kev456 is the most detailed yet. What follows is his personal account of the game along with all the screenshots [music] that he provided us with. Hey y'all, Kennan here. If you don't know me, I post random OSC related stuff on my Twitter and YouTube accounts. [music] It's just a bunch of posts for the most part, but I do post art and game development sometimes. I recommend checking my stuff out if you haven't already. With that out of the way, I'm just going to get right into it for the sake of not wasting anyone's time. Shortly after the YouTube release of Tapot 19, which I saw in theaters, by the way, very awesome experience, I went on the Jack and Jellath website with the intention of maybe buying a plushie or two, only to see that damn near every piece of text was replaced with the link to a weird game of some sort. I plugged the link into my search bar and upon loading I was immediately greeted with one of the most barebones title screens on the planet. It was just the word leaf in all caps and stretched out white text on a background that resembles two's hotel, but you shifted to be green and below the title text were three buttons of the same color saying load game, new game, and about respectively. They also turned green when [music] you hovered over them. So that's kind of neat. The title screen was completely silent, too. No music whatsoever. It was here that I began live posting the game in a Discord server that I helped run with one of my closest friends, [music] hence how I managed to get these screenshots. The concept of someone hacking the BFDI website to promote what looked to be a loweffort fan game of some sort amused me to the point that I might as well humor whoever this was. Naturally, I wanted to know what the hell was going on with this game. [music] So, I clicked on the about button first. Doing that led me to seeing a popup that predictably contained a blurb about what the game was about. It went as follows. After a disastrous attempt at a battle royale challenge, most if not all of the contestants of Teapot have been killed, and now Leafy is the last one standing. All of this happened because the evil Leafy [music] wanted her power back from two. What a shame. For those who haven't watched Tapong 19, or really Tapong in general, what you just read was a simple explanation to the plot of the episode in question, except there's two things wrong with it. Grassy was the last one remaining at the end of the challenge, and one was the main villain who wanted her power back from two. I was confused, but also very intrigued. What the hell happened to make Leafy of all characters the main villain? [music] I decided that I was done being curious with what the game contained and pressed on the new game button, which immediately took me to a black screen with windb blowing ambience playing in the background. After about 5 seconds of nothing, green text appeared on the screen saying, "Bay one [music] denial." After that, an eye-opening animation played, and when the player character's eyes opened, you could see a workspace of some sort seemingly located in a garage. It was disorganized with tools and crumpled up blueprints strewn about along with various [music] coffee stains on the table and crushed green edition Red Bull cans. In the corner was an animated sprite of an extremely tired looking leafy, although her main asset had its colors noticeably desaturated. One of the first things I noticed was a sticky note that when hovered [music] had a white outline over it. Assuming the obvious, I clicked it and a light yellow text box with black text partially covered the screen until I clicked again. The contents of it were [music] depends. After running it through a Caesar cipher website, I can confirm that it says play until the end in rod 11. For better or for worse, I listened to that request. The whole game is a firsterson pointandclick game where, as you might have guessed by now, you play as Leafy. You're completely alone for the most part and you're given various tasks throughout each of the five total days that this game has with the main three being work on the wireless recovery center. Go outside to get parts for your project. Check on to alongside this. There are various sticky notes placed throughout the map that you can collect as well. Although these are optional, I opted to collect them all personally or at least as many as I could. Now, on to the actual contents of the game. The first task of the day was, as you [music] would guess, to work on repairing the wireless recovery center. So, I clicked around until I was able to go outside. Right off the bat, the grasslands looked almost nothing like how it did after the actual teapot 19, save for the lack of vegetation. It resembled less of the absolute wasteland it actually was, and more of a particularly rainy autumn day. Despite this, [music] when you got to the recovery center itself, it somehow looked worse than it did by the end of Tapod 19. The screen was completely shattered. Some of the keys on the keypad were missing. You could see the insides of the machine, and Moss was already forming on it. What happened? When you get to the recovery center on day one, there's a sticky note placed right over the broken screen where the name of whoever was being revived would be visible. Why did you make me do that? As if I wasn't already confused enough, [music] this and all of the other sticky notes for that matter just amplified my already existing confusion even more. Who wrote this? Continuing on, I clicked on the recovery center itself, which triggered a fade to black, followed by about 10 seconds of construction sounds. When the screen faded back, the recovery center didn't look much different. [music] In fact, it looked almost the exact same, just with a few of the scratches gone. Some dialogue text appeared decide Leafy through the form of a scratched speech bubble. The first time this has happened in the game. I couldn't finish fixing it today. I'll fix it one day though. I have to. Just to let everyone know, this [music] exact thing happens every time you go to fix the recovery center with only a few minor changes near the end. A lot of the gameplay in this is very repetitive actually, so a lot of things I'll only describe once. After attempting to fix the recovery center, I went into the forest nearby to collect parts for a project, [music] whatever that means in this context. As you'd probably guess, this part had you clicking around the nearby forest collecting various gears, screws, [music] pieces of scrap metal, and other such things for the unspecified project. There were a couple sticky notes in the forest, though not a lot. In order, they say there's nothing you can do to change my mind. I love you. At [music] this point, I was starting to get both concerned and more confused than I already was. Some of the people in the Discord server I was posting this in were mocking me because I was falling for an obvious attempt at scaring kids. I'm in my early 20s, but there were a few that shared my sentiments. I think you'll be able to at least understand why I would be so concerned about this by the end of this dock. Hopefully, after [music] collecting all of the parts that you need to get, you go back to the garage and then upon clicking on the workbench where you woke up, you enter a puzzle miniame that requires you put the pieces you found in the forest together. [music] I've always been a fan of puzzle games, so this was a nice change of pace from the usual routine of just clicking around hoping to find something. [music] After finishing this miniame, or at least as much as I could at this point, it was on to the final task of the day. Checking on to this one was relatively easy. Just more clicking around until you made it all the way upstairs to Tw's room. Didn't you bother adding the apostrophe on to though? When you get there, you click on the door to their room and a knocking sound effect will play as you do so. too. [music] They are just sleeping. That's all that's happening. They'll wake up in a few hours. I should get some rest in the meantime. [music] Taking the last bit of dialogue as a hint, I went back to the garage and fell [music] asleep there, ending the first day of the game. So far, it wasn't eliciting any positive feelings within me, [music] which was probably the intention here. But if this was an attempt at an ARG of some kind, why did they feel the need to hack the Jack and Jellathy website? And more importantly, what's up [music] with the sticky notes? The second day started, and the name for it this time was bargaining. Aides from me realizing what the title pattern was going to be. [music] The other thing I immediately noticed was that the color of leafies where are your apostrophes for the characters or crying out loud sprite had changed from a desaturated green to an equally as desaturated [music] yellow color. Interesting. Everything was the same as the first day [music] for the most part. Same empty grasslands, same empty hotel. The most notable differences were that the parts you had to collect were in different locations from last time. And of course, the sticky notes were different, too. Here's a list of all day two sticky notes that I could find. I'm a piece of and [music] so are you. Found on the door of the hotel when you go outside to fix the recovery center. I always knew that you'd break my heart one day. Found in the forest. Don't you ever worry about me. Also found in the forest. [music] You don't care as much as you say you do. Forest again. You never gave me what I wanted. Yes, just this ones, please. [music] Surprisingly, this one could be found in the garage once you go back there. After collecting all the parts you need to collect for the day, after collecting all the sticky notes and finishing the puzzle [music] miniame, it was time to check on to once more. There was different dialogue this time as [music] well. As always, the interaction began with a knocking sound effect. [music] Two, please wake up. Whatever it was, I did. I'm sorry. A sticky note popped up briefly, [music] one I didn't need to click on to read. I think you know what you did. Clicking again brought me back to Ley's dialogue. Thank god there's an apostrophe on Le's in this sentence, [music] which had repeated knocking sound effects playing from this point on with the knocking [music] getting faster and more erratic as I clicked. I'm sorry, too. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I up. I it all up. You are not a terrible person. I'm sorry for making you feel like you are. I'm sorry. [music] I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. [music] I'm sorry. Sorry. After clicking for the last time, the knocking sound effects stopped and I noticed that Leafy's not again. What the Sprite was sobbing. [music] clicking the door to choose. Oh my god. Room again just made the last speech bubble repeat again. So I took that as a sign to head back to the garage and fall asleep. Ending the second day. The intro for day three was the same as the previous two. Although instead of just the usual wind sounds, [music] there were thanksgiving sounds, too. Leafies put an apostrophe on it. God damn it. Sprite changed color once more. This time to a yellowish orange. Just as desaturated as the previous two color changes. [music] The title for day three was anger. Day three is where things started to get less repetitive, even if only slightly. [music] For starters, the recovery center dialogue had a new addition. I couldn't finish fixing it today. I'll fix it one day, though. I have two. But what's the point in fixing something if it's broken beyond repair? What's the point of fixing anything if what you're trying to improve actively resists the help you give it? This is also stupid. The notes for day three were contained to the forest for the most part [music] with a few exceptions in order. When have I ever said yes to that question? There's nothing here for you. I love you so much. I'm sorry. I deserve it. I don't care. This is the selfish way out. At the location for the sixth note, there was another leafy standing within view, only partially obscured by tree branches and thud. [music] One that was completely red, not desaturated this time. I assumed that this was evil Leafy, or at least a representation of her in some way, considering that she lacked a face. [music] Leafy's sprite also looked scared whenever she saw this thing. So, I think I might be right in assuming that this is evil Leafy. [music] clicking the not evil, he did nothing except play a short wet squaltching noise before disappearing. [music] The noise sounded like if someone dunked a sponge into a bucket full of water and repeatedly squished it into the mic. [music] It scared the out of me when I played it. Nothing of notes happened in the forest after [music] that. There weren't even any sticky notes. So, I finished the task, did the miniame, and once again, it was time to check on two, but not before having [music] to collect another sticky note. This one attached to a wall on the way to choose again. Where's the apostrophe room? The follows objects who battle for power too. The season viewers eliminated the character competition. The season also follows an antagonist introduced later in the season named Ley where the characters try to [music] stop her. Second phase of Tapong after Tapong 25 confirmed. I understood that very clearly. And yes, Leafy's [music] name was typed like that in the sticky note for some reason. Probably a typo on the hacker's part, but much like everything else about this game, I'm not so sure. Upon arriving to choose not again room, someone or rather [music] something was blocking the way. It was evil Leafy again, or at least [music] what I think is supposed to be her. Clicking on her this time did something completely different. Instead of triggering a monologue from Leafy, a [music] video began to play. The video showed real life footage of a person walking out of their house and into their backyard. They didn't have any shoes on, only dirty white socks stained with dirt and what looked to be vomit. After a few seconds, they set their camera down on a bench or table of some kind, revealing fully that the weather outside was snowy, actively so. Whoever was recording stepped away from the camera. And although their face was censored with leafies acid from the beginning of the game, you could tell that they looked like complete To put it bluntly, strands of greasy and kemp hair were visible on their malnourished body, and their white short-sleeved objects shows rock shirt was completely stained with vomit, sweat, dirt, even some blood upon further inspection. After breathing heavily at the camera for 10 or so seconds, they slowly crouched down and began to rapidly shovel snow, dirt, and dead leaves into their mouth, taking the time to properly chew and swallow each time the unknown person was finished with one batch of the inedible concoction. I could only stare at the screen in a mixture of confusion, worry, and almost disgust at the footage. What the hell was I watching? Better question, what on earth was I even playing? The feast went on for about a minute or two more before suddenly getting cut off by a black screen right as whoever this was practically fell face first into the snowcovered ground. After a muchneeded moment to process the absurdity that was on my screen mere seconds ago, the transition text I've grown accustomed to appeared on screen once again, marking the beginning of day four, entitled depression. The fourth day starts off normally enough. I'm sure you get what the routine is by now. Leafy's sprite color, as you've probably come to expect, changed color again, this time to a reddish orange. However, one thing from the fourth day does differ from the rest. When you click on the recovery center, you don't trigger the usual cutscene, if you can even call it that. Instead, you get this. It's not worth it. I think I have caused enough trouble trying to fix something that I clearly can't. Real hopeful energy radiating from this game. I'll tell you what, the forest was more of the same. No sticky notes there, surprisingly. The evil leafyesque thing did show up a few times during that section, though, and whenever I clicked on it, a randomized collection of sounds played. The squelching sound from before, someone screaming at the top of their lungs, a sharp crunch like someone was eating lettuce into the mic, and the rattling of what sounded like a pill bottle were a few of the ones I experienced. Oddly enough, you can't buy to the thing. It was always off in the distance, just staring at you, despite its complete lack of a face. After that, you return to the garage for one last puzzle miniame. Here, the project that you've been building this whole time is fully revealed. It's a gun, more specifically something that appears to be a cross between teardrops. Please directly use an apostrophe on the characters I'm begging you. Laser gun and a regular handgun. Upon finishing it, the gun appears on your workbench right where you were building it. You can't equip it immediately, though, because clicking on it causes Leafy to say this. Not yet. As always, the next thing to do was go to No, no, no, no. Not this again. Room to check on them. There was one sticky note placed on the vents on the first floor. When you click on it, it says the child was left to die. It wanted to get away from Leithy again. It was typed like that in game. Nothing else of notes happened except that just clicking around as per usual. That was until you arrived at Tw's room. Once again, please use the apostrophes on the characters correctly. On the door was yet another sticky note, one that bore mysterious amber stains that none of the other sticky notes had. It simply said, "The door is unlocked. It always was. You know that, right? After clicking off of the note, a heartbeat sound bite began to faintly play in the background as Leafy's sprite gained an expression of pure dread. Clicking on the door this time made it open while the appropriate sound effect played. Upon entering, you were met with a concerning sight. One not even seen in the canon depiction of two's year-long bed rotting. I don't have to repeat again when I read that. Their bedroom was an absolute mess. If the fly buzzing sound effect didn't give it away, spiderw webs lined the corners of the walls and furniture, and supplies were strewn about all over the floor. There was food on one, please remove that word, a dusty, cluttered desk that was molding. But most noticeably of all, there was dried up vomit and blood staining the floors and window wall. But all of that pald in comparison to the concerningly, may I add that word to the dictionary in Alabama, detailed, admittedly well-drawn image of to that I was flashbanged with as soon as I clicked on the bed. The sticky note that was left onto's corpse, well done should tell you everything [music] you need to know. Victim name two, cause of death, suicide by Xanax overdose and bleach ingestion. Two's vomit was found all over the carpet along with some of their blood. Some of their skin already began to rot off of their body by the time they were found, melting into the mattress of their bed. Their eyes are still rolled to the back of their head. Vomit, blood, and foam residuals still crust at the corners of their lips. They still look as beautiful as ever. If this game somehow wasn't weirding, I'm going to add that word to me out before, it definitely was now. Much more than that, actually. The sounds of buzzing flies that were now blaring into the depths of my eardrums didn't help my feelings of confusion and horror in the slightest. [music] After remembering that I could exit this screen, I clicked on the arrow on the bottom of the screen to turn around, so to speak, only to be met with the same evil leave the entity from before standing right in front of me. Where its face should be were two separate sticky notes stained in more of that blood vomit mixture. The flies were still buzzing just as loudly as before. There is no way out of the hell you made for yourself. Follow them and fly away. Immediately after clicking out of the last sticky note, I was immediately sent to the fifth and last day. As you'd expect, this one was titled Acceptance. Instead of the usual eye-opening animation that opened up each day, it was a hard cut to a red tinted workbench with the first task [music] being to grab the gun. Leafy was now completely red, specifically a more desaturated version of evil Leafy, and had an expression that I would describe as deceptively calm. Surprisingly enough, instead of pure ambience like the rest of the game has, a song was playing [music] from a nearby radio. A song that one of my friends later identified as a pitched down lowquality rendition of Never Want to Fall in Love with You by Nell Word. It played throughout [music] the entire day on loot. No matter where I was, if I tried to go outside at this point, the game wouldn't let me. Instead, just playing one of the many sounds that evil Leafy also played whenever you clicked on it. The task this time was, like many times before, to go to Tw's room. Clicking in the pattern that I've memorized by now, I ended up at Tw's room, whose door was slightly a jar. This time, when you clicked on the door, Leafy's sprite would disappear from the corner of the screen. After a second of no Leafy, an animation played of her slowly walking towards the entrance of Tu's room from the front of the camera, gun in hand. As soon as Leafy reached the door, she opened it, stepped into the room, and slammed it shut. The game stayed on this shot for approximately 10 seconds before suddenly cutting to black, the music stopping alongside it. [music] For 30 seconds, there was nothing, just a black screen that showed the faint reflection of a mildly ugly guy staring at [music] himself, wondering what on God's green earth he witnessed just now. After that, one last image showed up in complete silence, which admittedly scared the living out of me. [music] The game won't let you play it again. By the way, reloading it after playing once just puts the same image as the one I've attached above on your screen. So, unless I'm willing to clear my cash or install a new browser, [music] spoiler warning, I'm not. I'm unable to replay this. Live posting on Discord was the smart decision after all, I suppose. After going through the entire game and having my friends experience it alongside me, everyone was left with more questions than [music] answers. Some people thought that this was an attempt at an ARG. Some thought that this was just some guy trying to scare a bunch [music] of kids to death. However, others, like myself, think that there was a different reason for all of this. [music] As for what I personally think, well, I'm going to keep that to myself. For the record, the site [music] has since been fixed, and you can no longer play the hacked game. Though part of me has a frantic need to forget about this the second I put it out onto the internet, [music] another part of me wishes that someone, anyone at all, has an archive of the game, if for no other reason than to [music] prove that it existed at all. Whether it's the original game file itself or simply a gameplay video, I'm fine with anything. If I gain anything from posting [music] this, I hope that it's an answer. >> [music] [music]
