Video summary
The narrator recounts their lifelong passion for the animated series Battle for Dream Island, specifically noting their desire to attend a screening of the season known as The Power of Two. After years of obstacles preventing them from seeing an episode in person, they finally secure tickets for a screening on August 8th, 2026. Upon arriving at the cinema, however, they are approached by a strange young man wearing a shirt with the number two on it. This individual hands the narrator a blank white DVD case labeled "Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two" before abruptly walking away, leaving the narrator confused but unwilling to miss their scheduled movie.
Despite initial curiosity about the mysterious disc, the narrator decides to watch the official episode first and save the DVD for later. When they finally play the disc at home, they discover that while it contains all twenty-three episodes of the season, there is a hidden twenty-fourth episode titled "competition commence" in lowercase letters. This secret episode immediately sets a disturbing tone, featuring distorted visuals of characters with unnaturally large grins and sharp teeth. The plot quickly shifts to a dark narrative where the character Two announces a challenge to kill another character named One, framing her as a monster who ruined their world, while other characters express twisted happiness about the violence.
The horror intensifies as the episode depicts graphic scenes of a plush toy version of the character One being dissected with a box cutter and stuffed removed, followed by footage of the animated character One in a similar mutilated state. The narrative culminates in Two consuming chunks of blue fabric from a bowl, implying cannibalism, before the credits roll with blurred names and a manifesto declaring hatred for the character One. After the episode ends, the narrator is left speechless and horrified, realizing that their gut instinct to avoid the content was correct. They reach out to online communities to share their experience, discovering that others have received identical DVDs from the same man, who has since been arrested for an attempted murder involving a victim cosplaying as One.
Following the arrest of the DVD distributor, identified in news reports as Andrew Rossetti, the narrator and the small group of other victims realize they are not alone but also lack concrete answers about the origin of the fake episode or the man's intentions. Despite gathering information from police reports and online discussions, the true nature of the hidden content remains a mystery, with no official explanation provided for why such a disturbing episode exists on an unauthorized disc. The narrator concludes by vowing never to watch the DVD again, acknowledging that the traumatic visuals and the real-world connection to a violent crime have permanently altered their relationship with the media franchise, leaving them with lingering shock and confusion over a month later.

When I was younger, I'd heard a specific
phrase thousands of times. Never accept
gifts from strangers. This saying could
not have been any more than what I went
through today. Another thing from when I
was younger, being into Battle for Dream
Island, or more commonly known as BFB I.
If you are unfamiliar with it, to keep
it short, it follows a competition
format akin to that of Total Drama or
Survivor, with contestants being
eliminated after a challenge until one
remains. Ever since I was four, I've
been really into BFB I. It never went
away either, as every now and then, I
will quietly quote a whole scene from
TPOT or another object show. It was a
pretty big interest for me. One thing
I've wanted to do since they started was
attend a screening for an episode. Ever
since they first started in TPOT 6, it's
been on my bucket list. Tragically,
other things like my college and my job
gave me problems and prevented me from
[music] going. An even bigger problem
was that there wasn't really any
screenings around me, which is
unfortunate, only doing it once since
2024. Then come the 2026 BFB I and
Inanimate Insanity Experience. They had
one near me, and they were doing a
screening of TPOT 24, and I was free.
The stars aligned just right for me, and
I couldn't have felt any better. Come
August 8th, 2026, day of screening. I
was driving to my local AMC, and there
it was, TPOT 24, and a ticket to show
for it. Before I could go up to the
tickets manager, I noticed a guy
approaching me. He looked relatively
normal, a young adult man who looked
around my age, wearing a white shirt
with two on it and some jeans. He said
only one question.
Are you here to watch Teapot 24?
Confused, I respond with yes. As soon as
I did, he handed me a DVD case. It had a
pure white case, crude handwriting in
black that read Battle for Dream Island
the power of two. I wanted to ask him
where he got this, but he already walked
off, seemingly going up to someone else.
I tried getting his attention, but he
simply shoved me out the way. No words,
no scoff, nothing. Just a light shove.
Weird, but I have a Teapot DVD now. As
far as I know, Jack and Jellify hasn't
made an official BFB DVD yet. I opened
it to inspect the DVD with was I mean
which was entirely blank, just a DVD.
[music]
Didn't the writer try to use the word
which instead of with in that part of a
sentence? [music] That's just frustrates
me. I wanted to go to home and inspect
it, but not only did I already have my
ticket, I didn't [music] want to give up
something I've been dying to do for the
sake of a DVD. I decided to just focus
on Teapot 24 [music] for the time being
and save this DVD for home. To make a
long story short, I watched it and found
[music] it pretty good. On the drive
home, the DVD and Teapot 24 was all I
could think about, mainly the DVD. I had
a bunch of questions, mostly pertaining
to the DVD. Who was he? Why was I given
this DVD? What's in it? I know that last
question is obvious, but it felt too odd
to be something as simple as a Teapot
DVD. I could have been overthinking, but
you never really know. Once I got back
in my dorm room, I wasted no time
booting up my DVD player and inserting
the disc.
>> [music]
>> The screen was black for a little while,
but the menu soon showed up. It was
[music] a green background with the
Teapot logo to the top left-hand side
and two below it. On the right-hand side
[music] was the options with gibberish
the intro music starting up. I opened
the episodes section and scrolled
through [music] them. I had seen every
episode of BFDI even things like BFDI
elsewhere and BFB, but this disc had all
23 episodes of Teapot. It seemed normal
at first until I noticed something.
There was a 24th episode listed, but it
wasn't the same one I recalled watching
earlier. It was titled competition
commence in all lowercase letters. It
was a heavy far cry from the typical
titles, which were just straight ripped
from the YouTube titles. As far as I
knew, no episode in any BFDI season had
a title like this, not even close. It
raised a few questions and a few red
flags. Though the adventurous within me
told me to watch it thinking that maybe
this was a rare opportunity. Maybe it
was a secret episode of Teapot. I didn't
know. So, I selected the episode to
play. I will tell you this right now. If
your gut tells you not to do something,
don't do it even if other parts of you
really want to. If I had followed that,
not only would it be easier to rest at
night, I would have been exposed [music]
to seeing the horrors that this episode
contained if you can even call it that.
It cut to two who had this look of
malice on his face accompanied with the
same grin.
>> [music]
>> I was greeted to the sight of the Teapot
grasslands pre-episode 15, but it seemed
heavily [music] distorted. Soon after,
two appeared on screen and he didn't
look any better. If anything, [music] he
looked worse. Two was simply an image,
but his face had what I assumed was an
unnaturally large smile with sharp
teeth, his eyes invisible under a
shadow. I could hear something play in
the background, yet I couldn't exactly
tell what it was. Music of some sort?
White text popped up above Two,
presumably his dialogue.
I am your host, Two.
It is time to start a game.
Are you ready, friends?
It's cut to another shot of the
grasslands, this time with Fanny,
Bonnie, Gaty, and Basketball. [music]
They were also drawn with unnaturally
large grins and small pupils, almost as
if they were meant to look scared.
Despite the look, white text appeared
above Fanny.
We are happy like this, too.
Nothing can ever go wrong.
Not when you're with us.
It's cut back to Two, who again had that
look of malice on his face, accompanied
by the same grin, but slightly larger.
Amazing to hear, Fanny.
Today's challenge is important.
It faded to black as a photo of One
popped on screen.
This thing hurt us in another world.
Harmed all of us, deleted some, even
killed.
Today, we stop [music] this monster.
Challenge: kill One, restore order and
peace.
Losing team will face a punishment worse
than death.
With that, it cut back to the
contestants who were drawn in the same
weird style with large grins. It was
dialogue between Barf Bag and [music]
Basketball devising a way to kill One.
They planned on things like poison
[music]
or simply just shooting her. However,
it's cut to Marker and Grassy, the two
in a black background. There she is,
text above Marker read. It's cut to One,
who was edited to have an unnaturally
large frown. Her eyes also looked more
scared than the others did.
She ruined everything.
This is for making everything hell.
It's then cut to a live footage of a One
plush against what I assume was the
floor, a piece of tape over her mouth. A
box cutter came into view [music]
dissecting her as if she was a frog. The
person tore it apart with their bare
hands after it was open, [music] ripping
out the stuffing and throwing it on the
floor. By now, classical [music] music
started playing, getting louder the
longer the video lasted. Once the video
finished, the poor plush was nothing but
blue fabric, all the stuffing on the
floor as she was torn open and ripped
apart. Then it cut back to the video and
where do I even start? It showed One on
the ground in a similar manner to the
current state of the plush. She was a
mess, cut open with her eyeballs in not
two, but four halves around her and her
legs bent in impossible ways. Her face
was gone now, just being an open corpse
with the darkness obscuring [music] what
was inside of her. Marker came into
view, a box cutter in hand.
Let's make our friend Two something
[music] special.
Grassy then came into view, looking
smaller and almost more scared than
Marker.
Hi Grassy.
I will admit I got a chuckle out of
that. It was probably the only chuckle I
got from this whole video. It cut back
to Two in the grasslands until Marker
and Grassy showed up. Marker had a bowl
with him with something blue in it with
chunks. You can probably put two and two
together to figure out what was in
there.
That one sentence almost sounds like a
pun, not going to lie. The bowl was then
given to [music] Two as soon he spoke up
through text.
It tastes fine.
Really could be better.
With that, it [music] cut to black as
white credits scrolled up. The weirdest
part, however, all the names were
blurred out, but there was definitely
names under it. The only way I could
tell was through the length of each blur
being different. At the end of the
credits, there was a long string of
text.
One is ruining this show and people are
eating it up. Everything was simple
until she showed up. She separated the
cast, deleted people. She ruined the
peacefulness of TPOT for what? This
video will serve as how I feel about
One. I hate that Algebra-alien with a
passion. How can anyone like a character
like her?
Afterwards, the episode thankfully ended
going back to the menu. However, Two was
now [music] missing. I was now
speechless. Any momentum I had from
earlier that day was gone, [music]
replaced with utter shock and confusion.
I really don't know what I was
expecting, but that was nowhere close to
what I was thinking. I took to the
internet, [music]
specifically Reddit, to talk about it. I
asked if anyone had received a DVD or if
anyone [music] had any information
regarding the episode. Everyone thought
I was joking, even when I showed them a
photo. That is, however, until I saw a
few comments from three different
people. They had gotten the DVD as well
and seen the same thing I did. The good
news, I wasn't alone. The bad news, they
had no answers and the same questions I
had. Helpful. We made a group chat and
attempted to do research on finding
anything regarding the DVD, the fake
episode, or the guy who gave us the DVD.
>> [music]
>> We all had our own theories, but we all
had different interpretations on each
question. I have my own interpretations,
but for the sake of this post being
long, I'll keep them to myself. At
first, we thought we weren't getting
anywhere until a few days later.
Remember that person from earlier, the
one in the two shirts who gave us the
DVD? Turns out he was arrested for
alleged attempted murder on a girl with
a wizard costume. We looked into it and
gathered a few critical pieces of
information. The name of this guy was
Andrew Skinner. [music] Oh, for the love
of god.
The name of this guy was Andrew
Rossetti, [music]
and this wasn't a one-off as many others
were asked. Again, a sentence that
merely sounds like a pun. Yet, the
majority [music] wasn't there to see the
episode, but this confirmed there was
more than just us three who got the DVD.
As stated earlier, he allegedly
attempted to murder someone [music] in a
wizard costume, but when we looked at
it, the victim was cosplaying as [music]
one. All it said about girl was that she
was transported to a local hospital for
treatment. Her current condition isn't
known. Aside from that, that's all we
got. It briefly touched on the DVDs, but
it wasn't anything [music] we didn't
know already. You would think a news
article would give us a better look and
more information on things like the
origin of this episode and intentions of
the man. Yet, instead, we barely had
anything. Since then, [music] we've been
trying, but it gets harder. We all
agreed to keep the DVDs, but personally,
I vowed to not watch it again. Not BFDI
as a whole, just the DVD. I can't watch
it. The way the one plush was taken
apart, the visuals, everything. Right
now, it's been over a month since I
first came across it, and since [music]
then, we've never gotten an answer. Not
even if the two guy had any connection
to the episode. And honestly, I don't
think we'll ever get to know.
