Creating a Direct Path to Eternal Companionship with the Prophet ﷺ | Ustadh Tarif Arabi
Watch on YouTubeVideo summary
The video emphasizes that the ultimate reward for believers on the Day of Judgment is not merely avoiding punishment, but achieving eternal companionship with the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The speaker illustrates this by contrasting two fates: one involves enduring fifty thousand years in a state of pain where individuals would beg to be sent to Hellfire rather than remain there, while the other is described as being next to the Prophet, which feels like a pleasant nap that one wishes could last longer. This proximity is achieved through love, grounded in the Hadith that whoever loves the Prophet will be with him in Paradise. The speaker explains that this love is cultivated by increasing one's knowledge of the Prophet, noting that familiarity breeds affection; therefore, learning more about his life and character directly increases our love for him and secures our place beside him.
To truly know the Prophet ﷺ, the transcript expands on his existence beyond his earthly lifespan of sixty-three years, describing him as the primordial light (Noor) from which all creation, including angels, was formed. This divine attribute is identified by scholars such as Imam As-Suyuti and Ibn Arabi as "An-Najm-uth-Thaqib," or the Piercing Star. Unlike a physical star that merely shines, this inner light penetrates through the seven heavens to dispel darkness and bring guidance directly into human hearts. The speaker recounts how the earth itself was initially disliked by Allah until the Prophet's light illuminated it, establishing his era as the best time for humanity. This cosmic significance is reflected in the Quranic verse regarding the "piercing star," which signifies a light that goes through all layers of existence to heal and guide creation.
The speaker outlines practical methods for believers to benefit from this connection, framing the relationship with Allah and His Messenger as a continuous spiritual upgrade. Just as technology receives updates to fix bugs and add features, humans receive divine upgrades through Dhikr (remembrance) and Salawat (blessings upon the Prophet). The process is reciprocal: when a believer sends blessings upon the Prophet, Allah and angels multiply that reward tenfold, effectively upgrading the believer's spiritual state by removing darkness and adding light. Two primary shortcuts are highlighted for this journey: first, loving Allah and His Messenger, which places one in their presence; and second, maintaining a good opinion of Allah at all times, as He responds to how we perceive Him. By consistently remembering Allah, believers ensure that He remembers them with even greater grace, securing their status in the hereafter.
The video concludes by reflecting on the immense mercy of the Prophet ﷺ, who is described as "Rahmatan lil Alamin" (mercy to all worlds). The Quranic verse stating that he is from Allah and Allah is from him is interpreted to mean that every category of human being—from those who do great deeds to those who struggle or even commit sins—is encompassed within his mercy. While this Ummah may face trials in this worldly life, such as death, poverty, earthquakes, and temptations, they are promised no punishment on the Day of Judgment. The speaker encourages the audience to rejoice in this blessing, noting that other prophets would envy their position due to the unique mercy of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Ultimately, the message is an invitation to embrace this light, increase one's love for the Prophet through knowledge and Salawat, and rest assured in the eternal companionship awaiting those who hold him dear.

It's a big Nirma, it's a big blessing.
To see all these beautiful faces
celebrating our Habib Sallallahu Alaihi
Wasallam.
Wallahi
Enjoy it.
Because
on the day of judgement
there is two options. One
Inshallah, none of us in that option.
It will be 50,000 years under the sun
where people in a pain that they ask
Allah take us to the hellfire, we don't
want to be here.
The second option
being next to Rasulullah Sallallahu
Alaihi Wasallam and it will be like
taking a nap.
Like half an hour and you wish that it's
longer.
But how do you get this?
You get this by
what Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi
Wasallam said, "Al mar'u ma'a man
ahabba." You'll be with the one you will
love.
And Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi
Wasallam said to Sayyidina Anas, he
said,
"He told him toward Sayyidina Anas he
said uh Man ahya sunnati faqad ahabbani.
Whoever revive my sunnah, he loves me.
Wa man ahabbani
kana ma'i fil jannah.
Whoever loved me, he's with me in
paradise."
And the bedouin when he Allah he asked
him, "What did you prepare for the day
of judgement?" He said, "Nothing. Except
I love Allah and his messenger."
And he said, "You will be with the one
you will love."
Now, how I can increase this love?
The Sahaba they said
Man khalaqahu ma'rifatan ahabbahu.
If you know him more and more and more
and more
you love him.
So, we need to know him more.
And knowing him more
is you sit with the people of love
and people of ma'rifah and tell you more
about Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi
Wasallam.
Most people think Rasulullah Sallallahu
Alaihi Wasallam he he want to know him
in the 63 years that he was life span.
No, no, no, no. He was a prophet before
that.
I was a prophet. I was Nabi. And Adam
his soul didn't go in his body yet.
There is stage before that.
When Allah wanted to create the
creation, he created
the Noor
of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi
Wasallam.
And from him
everything created.
Now we know that the Malaikah they were
created from Noor. They are not Noor.
They're not light. They created from
light.
They are created from light.
If it is not not for the light
that being created and it went into all
the creation
all the creation will not will not do
tasbih.
Cuz everything will do tasbih of Allah
Subhana Wa Ta'ala.
Now we call this evening
as Sayyidi Zahir told me
An-Najm-uth-Thaqib.
Now this is
one of the names of Rasulullah
Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
The piercing star.
You know the first one who said about
this Imam As-Suyuti
he said
that the Najm-uth-Thaqib is Sayyidina
Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
Then Al-Qadi Iyad
in the his book Ash-Shifa he mentioned
that the one of the names of Rasulullah
Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam is
Najm-uth-Thaqib. Imam As-Sakhawi, Imam
As-Suyuti
all of them they put the name of
Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam as
An-Najm-uth-Thaqib.
Imam Al-Jazuli in Dala'il Al-Khayrat he
mentioned his name
as An-Najm-uth-Thaqib.
And then Ash-Shaykh Al-Akbar Muhyiddin
Ibn Arabi he expand
on the first light.
When Allah revealed A'udhu Billahi
Minash-Shaitanir Rajim Was-Sama'i
Wat-Tariq
is and what the night comer is, the
piercing star. So, Imam al-Sulami said,
"The piercing star is the Prophet
Muhammad Sallallahu alayhi wasallam."
In the Tafsir al-Razi,
he
took from Sayyidna Abdullah ibn Abbas
the Tafsir of the piercing star. He
said, "He is a man, he is a man who is
who was given that name
because his light
goes through the seven heavens.
With all the sickness of the seven
heavens, his light penetrates with all
of them."
Imam al-Jazuli in his Salawat, he said,
"I'm going to read it for you."
Allahumma salli ala al-fajr al-sati,
Allahumma salli ala al-najm al-thaqib,
Allahumma and he kept on doing Salawat
on Rasulullah Sallallahu alayhi wasallam
on
with the same thing.
And he said,
"His light, when you say najm, the star,
the light is inner light.
From him goes all the lights. And not
only to shine,
no, to penetrate everything.
If there is a darkness,
that will go into
to take away this darkness.
Guidance, hidayah, it will go directly.
And
this
whenever his light is goes there,
change everything.
>> [laughter]
>> The earth before Rasulullah Sallallahu
alayhi wasallam, Allah looked at earth
and he hated earth.
When he came Sallallahu alayhi wasallam,
his light,
he told us that the best time ever on
earth is my time and the time after me
and the time after
Imam Qadi Abu Bakr ibn al-Arabi is the
Maliki.
He said, "There is a lot of names of
Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam."
And he said, "From his name
So, for us
to know Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi
Wasallam, increase knowledge of Rasul
Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, that
mean we increase our love to him.
So, we have to know
who is Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi
Wasallam at the early stage when he was
the first creation.
From his light everything created. And
then what was the stage that he was a
prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam?
He was a prophet.
And then what stage he was a a
messenger?
And then after that
he went to the
Alam al-Barzakh.
And he said, "Hayat khair khair lakum wa
mamat khair lakum. My life is good for
you. My death is good for you."
Your action be presented to me.
Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
And he will thank Allah for any good
action you are doing. And he will do
istighfar with anything you are doing is
not good.
Now
every second Rasul Allah Sallallahu
Alaihi Wasallam his maqam increase.
Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
Ya habibi ya Rasul Allah.
You know, the people of marifah, the
lovers
Allah took the veil away from them. They
see maqam Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi
Wasallam.
And whenever they see that maqam, what
they do? They write a poem describing
that. Or they do salawat to Rasul Allah
Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam describing
that. That's why you see thousand and
thousand and thousand of salawat to
and thousand of poems describing that.
You have to make sure none of them will
lie on salaam.
None of them will lie.
So, for us
we are very lucky
because every second his his is
increasing. So, now we live in a time
where the
of his status, his situation
increases for the last 1400 years.
And he is connected to us. While I am
with you
know that is among you.
Now, how do I benefit from this my home?
You know
when you have your iPhone or your your
computer
and you do upgrade
every few days, you don't decide for
upgrade. They decide for you now we have
a new version and it will fix bugs
and will give you new features.
Allah said in the Quran
Upgrade in Arabic is called tahdith.
Tahdith do update. And in another
meaning of the of this verse when I am
with you for hadith, get the new
upgrade.
And whenever you do you say
I am with you my home you are connected
to the my home he's in.
So, you download
what you download will fix the bugs in
you.
Will give you new features.
And the moment you finish I am with you
my home he's in higher.
So, you say I am with you my home again.
And then
and you are downloading. You decide when
you don't to download.
>> Sit.
You decide.
For for the dunya, they decide for you
when you do the upgrade.
But for us, we decide.
That's why the people who have real
knowledge
they kept on doing salawat on
I know a person in Medina, he always sit
next to
this work at all. He does
30,000 salawat every day.
Now, when you do one, Allah is doing 10
on you. And the angel is doing 10 with
Allah
and
Allah and the angel is doing salawat on
you to take you away from darkness, put
you on light.
This is the upgrade.
You don't do it yourself.
Allah is doing this for you.
To take you away from darkness, put you
on light.
Now,
the two shortcuts
for us,
the first one
is loving Allah and them.
That will put you in in a place where
Allah is.
Because he's saying truth. I'm with the
man I have.
And all of you, can you imagine
whom Allah
loves?
He loves Allah and them.
So, apply that rule, he's with Allah.
Even his dunya, he said,
"You try me with skin." I spend my day
with Allah, he give me food and drink.
But now he's with Allah and them.
So, if you love Allah and them, you'll
be with him.
He is with Allah, you'll be with the
circle.
Imagine the circle.
So, the first shortcut is loving
Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
The second one, which is really amazing
if you use this. Wallahi, this is my
gift for all of you.
Allah said in the Hadith Qudsi, "Ana
inda dhanni abdi
Ana inda dhanni abdi fihi. Falyadhun
fiya ma yasha. In khairan fa khair wa in
sharran fa sharr." I'm as a good opinion
of my slave of me.
If he think of me good, I'll be good for
him.
If he think of me bad, I'll be bad for
him.
You can
decide what you want from now until day
of judgement.
Have a good opinion of Allah in every
moment of your life.
Every morning in the when you wake up in
the morning,
have a good opinion of Allah. Allah
today will give me tawfiq. Allah will
protect my family. Allah will give me
this. Allah will open for me. Allah
Allah Allah Allah said, "I'll be the way
you want."
Allah gave us all the keys.
He said,
"Udhkuruni adhkurkum. Remember me, I
remember you."
Whenever you want me,
whenever you want to talk to him in
prayer, you say, "Allahu Akbar." Any
moment, he's in front of you.
Any king you want to go to him, they
give you appointment Allahu Alam when,
with this condition, and so on and so
on. Allah
You have the keys.
"Udhkuruni adhkurkum.
Remember me in yourself, I remember you
in myself. Remember me in gathering,
I'll remember you in gathering better
than your gathering." So, Allah is
remembering every one of you in a
gathering better of this gathering.
So, this shortcut
that
have a good opinion of Allah. And And
your maqam will increase
the more of a good opinion of Allah that
you have.
And I close with this one because
we're going to do some inshad and give
candy to
all of them. They're waiting for it.
Allah said in the Quran
from Allah the kitab
the people from my people
We gave this dean the the chosen people
from all the slaves.
from them the people from me
from me
the people from me
from me the people from me the people
from me
He said this dean was given to three
categories.
And that that verse indicate that all
three categories they are saved.
The one who oppress himself the one who
is going middle way
he's barely doing things and the one who
is bypass everybody the people Then the
people from me the people from me
He said for this verse he said
the people from me the people from me
The one who is bypass everybody he
already went he's
in paradise.
The people from me the people from me
the people from me
The one who is barely doing things
he's safe.
He's safe. By the people from me the
people from me
the people from me
look at the people from me his mind he
said
the people from me mind.
He didn't say the people from me he said
the people from me he said the people
from me he said mine.
And he said the one who are oppressed
themselves are mine.
The people from me the people from me
the people from me
He's forgiven.
And he said the people from me
the people from me the people from me
the people from me my people from me for
people with big sins. He said the people
from me the people from me
what a blessing I am
for the evil of my people.
And and he closed by saying closed by
this that he said the people from me the
people from me La adhaba alaiha fil
akhirah." This ummah, this nation,
nation of mercy.
There's no adhab on them on the day of
judgement. Adhabuhum fid dunya. In this
dunya, they have
that punishment. How? He said three
things. Bil qatli wal fata'ili wal
zalazili wal fitani wal zalazili. Qatli,
by killing, they kill
uh is themselves,
each one, and uh by um the fitan, they
create problems, and earthquake.
So, wallahi,
be happy.
Enjoy it. Every day, feel in your heart
how blessed you are.
The prophets, they were they other
prophets, they wish to be in your place.
Because of the mercy, because of Rasul
Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, he's
rahmatan lil alamin, and he is the
najmuth thaqib, and his light go
penetrate to all our hearts. Whenever
you say, "Allahumma salli ala Sayyidina
Muhammad. Allahumma salli ala Sayyidina
Muhammad wa ala alihi wa sahbihi
wasallam."
