Welcome to our live stream. Fun group fun group gang. Let's do a comic book haul. Check it out. Check it out. I have these books. But I got them at a really good price. So, I had to grab them, right? This box here is one complete series. Okay. One complete series. We bought it for the whole thing came out to around $78 US including shipping, including taxes, no fees. Came across the border no fees. Okay, taxes were minimal. The shipping was like 15. Something like that. But basically this these books ended up costing 78 bucks all in, right? All in. And this is This is one of the great great one of the best comic book series I've ever read. I'm not kidding you. To say good price. Of course, you got to grab them. Y'all have to grab them. I had to grab them, right? I paid more for this series than what I paid right now. All right? It's got the first appearance of two of the coolest characters, a duo in comic book history. Some of the most amazing writing, funny as [ __ ] goes down the rabbit hole of conspiracy theories. Okay. If you know your comic books, do you know what the series is? It came out in the last uh 15 15 years? Yeah, it came on last 15 years. Okay. It came on the last 15 years. Do you know what this is? Do you know what this is? Oh, nicely packaged. Look at this. What about about all this foamy stuff? I think you can recycle them, but I'm not 100% sure. Great packaging. Very nice. Awesome. Look at the packaging. This guy is a professional selling this. Beautifully packaged. Look at this. Puts in his own thing. Man, I'm going to leave this person a good feedback once I check out the comics to make sure they're in the condition he was saying they were in, but so far I am impressed. So far I am impressed. So again, do you know what this what the series is? I'll give you a hint. It's from one of the one of my favorite series of all time. Beautiful packaging, nicely done. Look at this. Fishing reel and they couldn't figure out how to put it uh back in the box. Amazon just don't appreciate your hard up parceling. No, no. Just stick a a [ __ ] label on the box, yeah. This is the first appearance of Quantum and Woody, one of the greatest series ever. Ever. Okay. So, that's issue number one. That's the first appearance. Here is issue number two. I'm going to show you the covers. This is going to be the second second or third complete set of this I have. Issue number two. So funny. So funny. This this character is so good. You Al Trajan you never heard of this? Man, read the series. This is from the um uh the two when did this come out? 2012? I can't remember. This is Valiant Comics Quantum and Woody. Okay. This character goat is [laughter] [ __ ] so good. It goes down the conspiracy rabbit hole like there's no tomorrow. Newsstand editions. Oh, they are newsstand editions. Very cool. Nice catch. Nice catch to say. I didn't even notice that. I was just excited to Quantum and Woody. What are their powers and abilities? They they they get this brace thing around their wrists um that one person supposed to have it but they end up sharing it and they're joined together. They they have to operate together. It's [ __ ] just it's just funny. I'm not going to give it a give away any any spoilers or anything and I should read the series again. I should read the series again. It just ends up being the white guy. Here, I'll show you. The white guy is a walking disaster. And the guy in the mask is a black guy. So, they're actually brothers, stepbrothers or adopted brothers, I can't remember now. They're brothers and the white guy is a disaster and the black guy is all together. Right? And they end up getting these powers. It's just It's just chaos ensues. Chaos ensues. So fun. So fun. That was number five. Let me just check out this up again. Call my phone game Yeah, that reminds me. Do you have any suggestions for funny comics similar to Mad Magazine? Wanted to wait until the comic segment No, Mad is the best. Um Mad Magazine was really good. This is just straight-up funny series. It's not Mad Magazine style, but it's uh Actually, some of the stuff from um What's his name? Uh Crumb. Some of the stuff from Crumb is like Mad, but it's more adult-oriented. Okay. Like a play on Swan Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That That one guy looks like a play play on Spawn and Deadpool. Yep. I haven't read this for for a while, but it's really good. Funny as [ __ ] Let's see what the covers are like, if they remind me of things. Oh, look at this. Death to Hemingway. Books and comics. A big payback. And Priest writing, amazing. Amazing. He did a run on um uh Moon uh Oh my god, what's the Moon Guy on Marvel? Anyway, he did a run on that, which was really good. That looks good. I get them mixed. Archer and Armstrong ain't from the relaunch of Valiant, one of the funniest series you're ever read, and Quantum and Woody. Super funny. I see the 90s humor from here. Wouldn't work in two 2012. Yeah, yeah, yeah. This is late 1990s. My apologies. My apology. I was just excited to get this. I was like, yes. I'm going to put these guys here, so Yeah, that's good. So they're out of the sun. All right. And this is the first appearance again. I'm going to show you this. This is definitely 1990s, right? I don't know why I kept on thinking 2012, right? There is a 2012 series as well or 2013 or 14 series as well. Fantastic. Very happy to get this for like 80 bucks US all in. 78 bucks US all in. And again, there's you can get things at a pretty good price right now. Like really. You can get things at a pretty good price right now. Uh I've seen some stuff go real cheap. So super good. Super good. Love that Spawn kid. Yeah, 100% Todd McFarlane influence big time. Big time, man. To say back in '90s, I read so much Spawn but fell fell off. Yeah, yeah, me too. Spawn was really good, actually. Really good. And the Spawn and Max TV series, the animations, so phenomenal. So phenomenal. I wish my job great price. Looks looks to be in great shape. Yeah, they look great shape. They look like they're phenomenal. I think he just graded these at very fine near mint. And they're better than very fine near mint from what I could see. Uh but I think he just low balled it, right? Which is great.
