What did you think of the overall team effort this afternoon? >> Yeah, I mean, great win. Um, I thought the boys swung the bat really well. Uh, and bullpen, you know, pitched the majority of the game and and threw the ball well and we came out with a win. So, that's that's what's important. >> What did you think of your stuff? >> Yeah, it was good enough. Um, obviously I'd like to get, you know, past four there and get in the fifth and just uh, you know, take on a couple more outs, but, you know, I need to be a little more efficient um, with the pitch count. So, hopefully working on that next week. It looked like that could have been a double play there in that fourth inning. Just how were you able to kind of bear down and make sure it didn't unravel there? >> Yeah, I mean it's just part of the game. Um he's made some tremendous plays at short um especially lately. So, you know, it is what it is. It's my job to pick him up and you know was trying to keep there at one, but you know, he had some good at bats and obviously I felt fell behind on some hitters and could have been better, but um got out of got out of there with two and the boys put up the runs and the bullpen shut it down. So, fortunate. [music] >> What do you think of some of the contributions some of these young guys have been giving you guys lately? Yeah, it's great. You know, seems like they're pretty comfortable. That's what we want. We want them, you know, showing up and just uh playing well and contributing and seems like they're doing that. >> How important has this bullpen been? >> I mean, they've been great. They've been they've been nails all year. Um kind of been carrying us a lot. Obviously, the starting pitches did really good, but um the bullpen has been tremendous. So, >> as you're building up, just how do you feel about your stuff right now? >> It's good. You know, obviously there's some things I want to refine and obviously be in the zone a little more um crisper with strikes and just attacking and getting ahead. So, there's some things I can work on. >> How are you feeling physically? >> I feel good. You know, I feel good. Um like I said, there's there's room for improvement and obviously, you know, a little more efficiency and go deeper in games. And, you know, I'll probably get 10 more pitches next start, which is nice. That'll help. But, uh you know, just more strikes. Is there any part of it that's difficult building up at at this level knowing that you're at a certain [music] pitch count? >> I think it's just one of those things you just go and compete and you know when whenever whenever Boon comes and gets me and it's done, it's done. So there's I really can't control, you know, how many pitches I get. So just trying to get as many outs as I can.
