All righty, I have a construction
update for you guys today.
Um, there was a lot of reports of things
being
uh in the time warp area and I'm going
to quick bait you guys for a second, but
uh the video title should reveal it.
Here we go.
We are preparing for your future
enjoyment. So, a sign I'm sorry, a fence
and a sign have appeared
surrounding the time warp area and I'm
going to get you all hyped up for a
second. This track.
I'm kidding. So, yes, it was super
exciting to see, you know, we're
preparing for your future enjoyment
signs popped up. Canada's Wonderland is
quick baiting with that sign for sure,
but they're not lying. They are
preparing for your future enjoyment. Um,
so Halloween Haunt is getting ready uh
in this area and that is all the fences
and the signs are for. This is that um
cemetery area. I forget what it's
called. So, essentially they're just
going to set that up in this area. It's
a little scare zone and it requires a
lot of work. In fact, if I zoom in
there,
right down there, there's all the
tombstones that have been piled into the
area. Now, I do have news on Halloween
Haunt. I guess I can talk about it here.
So, The Conjuring is going to start
actually September 12th. You can go on
the website right now. Now, things can
change. So, like like I said, sometimes
I get things wrong, but right now, you
can go on the website and book The
Conjuring starting September 12th. From
what I'm hearing, it also might be an
all day experience. Now, you can book it
starting from 11:00 a.m. all the way to
the end of the haunt or the operating
day. So, they are making it a lot more
readily available for all the guests, so
that's really exciting. So, you can go
and check that out. Um, that's one of
the exciting things and they are working
really hard to get haunt ready. Right
now, haunt doesn't start until a week
later after that,
but I'm starting to wonder if they're
trying to get it all set up and ready to
go and maybe a soft launching it a
little earlier. But that comes with zero
backing whatsoever. So please take that
with a grain of salt. Now, has anything
changed in the construction area? No.
Um I will finally be posting a footer
map for the new coaster. I have the
break run, the launch, and the station
all mapped out. And yes, I can confirm
it looks like a launch coaster and
[music] I'll explain that on Patreon
right now.
Um but
I am starting to lose hope that this is
Siren's Curse. It However,
we are looking at a footing map that is
missing 95% of the information. So we're
not going to jump to any serious
conclusions yet.
Um but I will tell you it is not RMC, it
is not B&M. I can definitely put my
backing behind that. We have newer
construction with Vekoma coasters going
on right now in the chain.
Um a lot of family Vekoma coasters and
it is looking like the footing markings
resemble Vekoma
footing markings very well. So if I had
to put my money on it, we are looking at
probably a Vekoma coaster of some sort
and that would make sense as they bought
a big package for their entire chain.
All right, let's go to the other side so
I can maybe show you guys something over
there.
And over here we have the same fence up.
Now I just saw two guests actually walk
back into that area. That's crazy.
Um but as you can see here, here's the
scare zone. There's tombstones. I did
not know it has an emergency stop
button, an any stop button for a scare
zone, but that's cool. That's awesome to
see.
Yeah, nothing exciting coaster related.
This fence is not related to the
coaster. It is related to Halloween
haunt. So I thought I'd come and make
the most boring 2028
construction update for you guys
possible.
Um I know a lot of us got super excited
to see this fence, but it is for
Halloween haunt, nothing else. We
probably won't see anything start to
show up or anything exciting go on until
once the park is closed for daily
operations and it's on weekend
operations. And then it could be even as
far as fall. Remember these projects
usually start a year and a half before
around fall, late fall when the park's
getting ready to close is when you'll
start to see land prep and all that.
However, we are looking at a very large
plot of land so they might have to start
earlier. We're also hearing rumblings
that they could be potentially going
into the parking lot.
So we'll keep an eye out for you guys
there.
Based off of my footing map it should
have around 210 to 220 footings or
columns. So that's crazy.
