All righty, I have a very exciting video
for you guys today because Canada's
Wonderland has dropped their 2027 season
passes and I'm going to go over
everything that I possibly know
on these season passes as well as giving
you guys some tips and tricks because
they're pretty pricey. They're pricey
for a good reason. I'm going to explain
that. We've gotten some, I guess in
quotations, inside information about
some of the features and offerings next
year and I can tell you that some of
these price increases are for good
measures and I know that a lot of people
are looking at what we're currently
being offered and the prices that are
there before us and maybe a little angry
about that. But when it comes to the
food, I'm telling you guys, I'm going to
give you guys a good idea which will
help you maybe offset some of that anger
that you might be seeing with the food.
But I'm telling you right now, I promise
you, I put my reputation on the line
that from what I've been told and what
I'm hearing, that it is for a very good
reason.
Now, on top of that, the passes are
about the same prices that they've
always been, $99 for a gold pass,
$229 for a prestige pass.
The benefit with this prestige pass is
it includes all season drink plan. So,
obviously it's not the all season drink
plus plan, but you can upgrade that for
$16 which you'll see on the screen very
shortly.
The gold pass includes, if you renew
before September 7th, free parking. Now,
I saw online people are a little
confused because it doesn't show up.
Don't worry, as long as you renew,
keywords renew, not buy new,
um you'll get free parking included at
your Canada's Wonderland park on that
gold pass. It's a very good deal. The
prestige pass comes with the beverages
included. Obviously, again, not plus.
Um it includes Halloween Haunt, but you
will need a separate Halloween Haunt
ticket. I'm telling you right now,
listen to this video fully. I have
really good advice for you guys and it
is going to be non biased. It's not
going to tell you to buy the max,
nothing. It is good advice. I have dived
so deep into this because I woke up, and
I was a little like, "Oh, the payment
plan's gone, blah blah blah. Um this is
a little different." Um so, I will say
season passes are meant to be purchased
in full. There is no payment plan for
the season passes. That is what the
memberships are. You guys, they dropped
the prices on the memberships. Do not
panic. They were outrageous a couple
weeks ago or a month ago when they
dropped them. They were horrible.
Um I could not recommend a membership to
anyone if I wanted to. You were
essentially paying a huge upcharge to
pay monthly, but that has changed. There
is maybe a $100 difference uh between
the passes now, between memberships and
passes. So, if you need to finance your
pass, the memberships are a good option,
but we'll go into that very quick uh
very shortly. So, here it is with the
Prestige Pass. I'm going to do Prestige
on YouTube and Gold Pass on short form
content because general public watch our
short form content, so we're going to
cater to them. But, for you enthusiasts
that are watching this YouTube video,
we're going to cater to you. So, the
Prestige Pass for $16, you get the
unlimited uh drink plan. Um so, the meal
plan is what's changed the most, and
this is what's going to anger a lot of
you. So,
meal plans are now every 2 hours. They
have three different types of plans. You
can get 20 meals, um or you can get 30
meals, or you can get the unlimited all
season dining, and that is again every 2
hours. That is I know it's $399. It's
shocking you at first, the food quality
and portion sizes are supposed to go
back up. From what I understand, the
brisket could be returning to um
Lazy Bear Lodge. That's my office. I
don't know how I forgot the name. Um one
other big change that is going to upset
everyone, and I cannot defend this
change, but it does make sense from a
business standpoint is the all season
fast lane. The price has dropped. Buy it
now. I am not kidding you guys. If
you're getting all season fast lane or
thinking about it, buy it now. Do not
think about it. Do not wait 2 weeks. Do
not wait a month. That price will climb
by $100 or $50 every couple of weeks,
and then it'll jump to a 1,200
and continue to climb as they sell more.
So, get it now. This is what a prestige
pass fully loaded-ish, cuz I never get
the the pictures and all that, um is
works out to be $1,559.35.
That's including tax and everything.
Again, no payment plan. $399 for the all
season dining. Um
my biggest piece of advice is remove the
all season dining right now. Um again, I
can't sit here and confirm that prices
won't go up on it. I don't think it
will. That's a pretty um
it's a pretty big price for all season
dining. I don't think they have any
intent to raise it by much. But, if
you're looking to save a little money
and you don't have $1,500 to drop right
now, remove the all season dining and
add it maybe at the beginning of next
year if you can save money over the off
season. That will help you financially.
That is the best advice I can give to
you guys um to help you offset that. So,
here is a prestige membership. So, it's
$20 a month. You have to pay for the
meal plan outright, $399. The all season
fastlane is $65 per month. Um and then
the uh the $29 Halloween Haunt
attraction pass. I have a lot to say
about Halloween Haunt attraction pass.
We'll get to that later. So, you'd have
to pay $588.68
today if you're able to buy this
membership, and then about $85 not
including tax per month for your
membership. It works out to about $100
or $200 more at the end of the day. Much
better than when they first launched
these memberships. So, if you're
panicking about that and you do need to
push these payments over the month,
memberships are your best bet.
Um and it is a fairly good option for
those, especially for families of four.
It is no
Uh I don't I don't know how to phrase
this correctly. I don't want to say
anything incorrect, but the economy is
rough right now. So, for any of you that
need to split your payments up, I
totally get it. If you really need to,
remove the all season dining from your
package right now. If it's going to save
you $400 from your total price, remove
it and add it, save up over time, create
yourself a little savings plan um from
now until the start of next year, and
add this all season dining at the
beginning of next season. You have no
need to get this all season dining right
here right now. And for those of you
that might be struggling a little bit,
um which is totally understandable, and
please don't feel
um like you're the only one. There are a
lot of Canadians struggling right now. I
work uh in the the grocery and retail
industry, and I can tell you right now
there are a lot of Canadians struggling.
So,
my best advice is off hold on that all
season dining and buy it next year at
the beginning of the season. Give
yourself some time to save up for that
and lower your cost right now
um on your passes. That is the best
advice I could give you. Hopefully that
helps some of you. Um you will be able
to add that at any time. You also can
buy the lower food plan, like the 20
meals per season, and upgrade it at any
point to the the unlimited if that helps
you as well.
Um
with that being said, I'm trying to
think if there's anything else that I
needed to touch on in terms of all this.
Um I guess I'll go into the Halloween
Haunt attraction pass. So, last season
we were lucky enough, uh me and my
friends, to get the unlimited um
prestige or whatever you called it uh
attraction pass. And that got us into
the Conjuring unlimited. So, I do want
to stress that based off of what I'm
seeing on the website right now, and I
will ask for clarification, um because
the wording is a little it could go
either way. It looks like it's you will
get Conjuring at Canada's Wonderland,
but you can't get Conjuring or any of
the other park's attraction Halloween
Haunt attraction passes, or it's just no
Conjuring at all. And I think that is
the latter. It is no Conjuring at all
included in in that $100 and something
dollar one.
But you get skip the line all Halloween
Haunt season at Canada's Wonderland.
Only by the $29 one, guys. Please do not
waste your money on the unlimited one.
Halloween Haunt will get busy later on
and you know, that is telling you that
maybe you won't be able to use your
attraction pass
if you don't want to wait in lines later
on in October. But if you go to
Wonderland late September, early
October, the $29 option is more than
adequate enough for you to get into all
the Halloween Haunt attractions. There
were no lines for us when we had our VIP
one and it was kind of a waste of money
at the beginning and by the time that it
got busy and we needed it, we were kind
of bored and done with the Halloween
Haunt attractions because we had done
them so often. So, best advice, go
early, go late September or early
October, buy that $29 one, don't waste
your money on the more expensive one. It
is not necessary. That is obviously for
people that maybe want to go later on in
the Halloween Haunt season. So,
key takeaways, if you can afford a
downright payment on your season pass,
obviously go the season pass route.
Um if you need to save a little money,
my best advice to you guys is off hold
on those meal plans. The every two hours
is a good deal. I know there are people
still kind of groaning over that $399,
but I'm sorry, every two hours is a
phenomenal deal and the food quality and
portions is supposed to increase.
Hopefully the park means that when they
said that, but I am just relaying
information to you guys.
So, with based off of what we've been
told and what we know, I would argue
that $399 for unlimited food
for us enthusiasts that go so many
times, come on, you all know we rack
over 30 visits, 40 visits a season, some
of us. Some of you might even rack 20.
That is still averaging
um you could get six to eight meals a
day for some of us that go all day.
that's a really good deal.
So, I will sit here and defend the park
on that price.
I know we're used to a much lower price,
but we are complaining about food and
I'm going to tell you this right now
after speaking to people at Canada's
Wonderland and working in the industry
itself
in management.
The food costs are
astronomical in Canada compared to the
United States.
A lot of Canadian companies are even
looking to go into the United States
because it's cheaper to operate in there
and there's a lot more opportunity for
higher profit margins. So, it is
difficult for Canada's Wonderland to
bring in more specifically meat, eggs,
dairy and all that
versus you know their American
counterparts. But, these are prices are
split off across the industry. It's not
just Canada's Wonderland.
So, I think this is very fair and I
welcome it. I'm sorry if that offends
anyone, but that's just at the end of
the day business facts.

a lot of sense to just off hold that
$3.99 until the beginning of next season
if you have your meal plans already on
your 2026 season passes. And kind of

some time to save up and buy that meal
