Video summary

The video features an enthusiastic discussion about the vibrant crypto community in Hong Kong, where the speaker, Randy, delivered a "Bitcoin for Beginners" class that far exceeded expectations. Despite initial concerns about the education level of the attendees, the room was packed with eager individuals using translators to ask detailed questions about blockchain basics, wallet security, and how to buy Bitcoin. The atmosphere was described as incredibly bullish, driven by a desire for financial freedom and geopolitical independence from the Chinese government. This sentiment was further highlighted by a panel featuring CZ, who resonated with the audience's views on weak governments versus strong money, reinforcing the local enthusiasm for decentralized assets over Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs). Randy shares her personal journey of being bullied in high school for trying to give away free Bitcoin at $7,000, an experience that fueled her determination to educate others despite skepticism from peers and even school administration. She founded Miss Teen Crypto to fill the gap left by traditional institutions that do not teach cryptocurrency, eventually gaining media exposure on Fox News by age 18. Her mission has evolved into a multi-year plan dedicated to bringing education to conferences globally, including Asia, while proving that one can succeed in finance and technology without a college degree. She emphasizes that her work is a divine timing project designed to help people realize the American dream through persistence and passion for the crypto revolution. Looking ahead to the future of the market, Randy offers a skeptical take on recent regulatory news like the Clarity Act, suggesting it may be theater by banks delaying implementation until they are fully ready. She predicts that while the next quarter might be quiet due to midterms, a massive bull run is gearing up as global banks finalize stablecoin regulations and integrate blockchain technology into traditional finance. The conversation also touches on the need for better education among women in crypto, who often face mansplaining barriers, and highlights how digital assets are becoming essential for paying AI agents and accessing 24/7 financial markets. Ultimately, the video concludes with a call to action for viewers to support animal shelters and stay committed to the long-term vision of cryptocurrency adoption.

Every time I go to these these conferences, it's interesting to see like the litmus test, like what is the [laughter] temperature of the room, right? Because I know like there was some I've gone to and I'm like, "Oh, this is definitely a bare market." And then some I've gone to I'm like, "Oh, this is definitely a bull market." What was it like in Hong Kong when you went there? What did you feel? What was the vibe? >> Oh, I I felt good vibes. Um, you know, a lot of people were just very excited. I think uh the Hong Kong Chinese community like they were gung-ho about crypto and like I honestly did not know what to expect going there because I mean like Hong Kong is basically China. I mean like we could say it's a different territory. Whatever it is, it's basically China and um you know I felt like a lot of people were very eager to learn. Um when I did my Bitcoin for beginners class, I wasn't sure who was going to show. I didn't know like what the you know um I guess education level of people was. But it we packed the freaking house, Rob. And I actually like the Q&A went so long that we were 15 minutes overtime and like there were just people surrounding me and like they were using translators to ask me questions. It was craziness. And then the next speaker came over to me and they were like, "Brandy, like we need this area." And I was like, "Oh, like I'm overtime." They're like, "Yeah, by 15 minutes." I was like, "Why didn't you kick me out?" Um, but yeah, people like I just was like, "Guys, let's shift." And I had to shift everyone towards like another area to chat with me and uh kind of answer more questions. But people are very eager to learn. They want to know what Bitcoin is, the basics, like what is blockchain, what is in a block on the blockchain, why does this matter, how are bitcoin created, hot versus cold wallets, what does that mean? Um like what are your first steps? Like start to finish se seven steps, how to buy Bitcoin, set up your wallet, and send your Bitcoin from the exchange to your wallet. And um it went really well. like people were very happy. Of course, like Bitcoin Asia is a smaller conference than what we're used to with like the US conferences. Um, but with the amount of people that were there, like the amount of enthusiasm was like crazy. Like they like people were very happy to be involved. So, yeah. No, they were very bullish. Like the the Chinese were gung-ho on crypto and I I was all there for it. I was like, "Let's go." Um, especially because they're dealing with like, you know, the Hong Kong dollar. They have their own CBDC uh in Hong Kong. They also have like the digital yuan. Um, and I think a lot of people in Hong Kong specifically because I think they have democracy until what was it 2049 or something like that and I think that they feel the time crunch and they know that like if they're going to end up having some sort of freedom like they they probably need Bitcoin um in their revolution. So I think Bitcoin's role in just like you know um economy is one thing but the role in geopolitics is going to be a whole different thing and I'm very excited to see uh how that unfolds. You know, I did not have that on my bingo card that they would be that enthusiastic about Bitcoin and blockchain and everything else. >> Through the roof. Through the roof. Like I was thoroughly surprised. I have to say I was like I wasn't sure how it was going to go. I was like, "All right, let's just like feel it out." But the Bitcoin for beginners thing, I didn't know if it was going to be a hit or not because they're smart people over there in Hong Kong and China. They're very smart people. But they were like they needed that ground level education as well. So it was it was just fantastic. Loved it. So the thing is is that they have and you know what's what's I was thinking about this when you were talking is that they have this super app WeChat and WeChat over there is like the big thing. We don't really have a super super app but imagine this you have an app where you can go in there and you can order an Uber, you can order a pizza, you can go to like whatever I mean kind of like delivery of goods and services. Then of course you have the banks on there. Then you can also rent a hotel. Then you can actually buy a house. And it's like it's all convoluted into one major huge app, WeChat. And then you said, Randy, about that CBDC, are they when when when they were talking to you and using translators, I'm sure it was difficult, but were they were they kind of like, "Yeah, we'd like to get away from this CBDC. Don't tell anybody. I don't want to get, you know, disappeared." >> I honestly didn't hear much of that. I think they were very like they were just low-key. You know what I mean? Like I don't think they were trying to like speak out against like the government and what was going on, but they were definitely freedom forward with Bitcoin. Um and even like um I was on a panel on day one and then like two panels like two sessions later with CZ on the same stage and CZ was basically like you know he he went after Bitcoin maximalism which I thought was great. Um and then he was just basically saying that like you know there's weak governments but we don't need weak money. And um I think that like you know especially because he's like kind of from that area Czy um I I know technically he's Canadian but um what he was saying really resonated with people and people were like cheering him on like no other. So yeah, no, people are definitely like leaning towards that freedom mark because I was speaking to like, you know, um another guy that grew up in Hong Kong and he was just basically saying that even in 2019, apparently they were revoling uh against the Chinese government because they're not in favor of the CCP, which is, you know, obvious. Like I don't think anyone really is in favor of that. But again, some people really like to be told like what to do and what to think. Um, and sometimes they pick the easier route because it's just like that like kind of NPC mindset. Um, but people in Hong Kong like they're they're ready. They're ready for Bitcoin. And I hope they have more accessibility because I was trying to um look up where do I go and spend Bitcoin because I I always love like, you know, to be able to like bring like cryptocurrency um to like, you know, wherever I'm at, right? And so I was looking up where I could spend Bitcoin. I couldn't find one place, but I did have my up my Uphold XRP debit card uh that I've been using. You can spend crypto through that debit card and earn XRP back. So, I was just like experimenting over in Hong Kong and it worked. I used it in Europe and it worked. So, there's obviously like other ways, but I was hoping to spend like lightning network or something like that. >> You know what? It's it's interesting because like as you're there, there's always ways around it. Now, the government will put on their roadblocks, but there's always a way that you can actually move things. You can use crypto. you can use digital assets and this is just one of those cases. So I mean I'd like to hear that. It is interesting though that there's so much enthusiasm about it but you can't really use it yet but then again use a use a card which you can circumvent that use the crypto and it makes a lot of sense. Hey Randy when we were as I was going through and again follow Randy over on X. You're always educating you're always somewhere you're always [laughter] doing doing the big stuff right? This is you at a high school class. >> Yeah. >> This is you probably there at uh I'm guessing this is Hong Kong, but you've also been on Fox News multiple multiple multiple times and it seems like you just are non-stop. How did you get into that? How did you get to that role >> like with Fox or just wanting to educate everybody? >> So when I when I initially created Miss Teen Crypto and I was 17, Rob, I'm almost 24. Can you believe that? In February, I'm gonna be 24. >> 50s. Yeah, it goes fast. [laughter] >> Sorry. But when I first like created Miss Teen Crypto, I was kind of like mind blown that there was like no Gen Z in this space. And >> that's it. >> Again, I was I was sitting there and saying to myself, this needs to change. And there was no other like there was no other teenager still to this day. like there's no other teenagers really creating content in crypto. Um I'm probably one of the youngest creating content here and like the long the longest standing I think. Um and so I was just basically like, "Oh, hey, why don't I go and educate people?" Because I initially like I was going to go to college. Um for people that didn't know, like I was going to be like a psych major. Um before I left high school, I was taking two years of college math, two years of college English, uh college science. I took um what else did I take? I I took college psych for two years. got college credits for all of it. And that's really where I thought I was going to go. And then I found crypto and I said to myself, well, no one no college is going to teach me crypto. So why don't I go to colleges and schools and teach people about crypto instead? [laughter] So that's kind of what I started doing. And even like you know that high school that you put over there, that was my former high school. And when I was there uh and starting Miss Teen Crypto as a junior, I literally had a guidance counselor come up to me. my guidance counselor. He's the man that got me through high school. Without him, I don't know what where I would have been. But he came up to me one day and he was like, "Randy, are you okay?" And I was like, "Yeah, why?" He said, "Because everyone's talking about you, teachers, students." Like, he's like, "Everybody." And he's like, "I just want to make sure you were okay." And I was like, "Yeah, they just don't get it." And he was like, "Yes, you're right. Like, nobody understands." He's like, "But I believe in you." And he was the only person that said that to me at the time. And yeah, and then even the principal called me crazy. And then about a year later, they invited me back uh to teach. And then I've been going back almost every year since then. Um that principal is out, but and there's a new one in. But yeah, they keep inviting me. And every time I go back to that school, people are like, "Wow, that this Bitcoin thing is really working, huh?" And I said, "Yeah, because when I was telling people about everything um crypto-wise when I was 17, I was a junior. Bitcoin was $7,000." >> Yeah. >> And I was doing videos uh with people in my class like sending them Bitcoin at $7,000. And I was like begging people in school. I was like, "Please let me give you Bitcoin. Let me give you money." No one wanted to take it at the time cuz everyone bullied me. They thought I was crazy. And so I was just like, you know what? If they're going to think I'm crazy, like let them think I'm absolutely psychotic. So then that's why I really doubled down on crypto. And then even like when I first got on, people thought I wasn't real, which I thought was really funny. So I was like, why don't I just keep like pushing videos and see what people come up with. So I really wanted to like take adoption into my own hands. So I created Missine Crypto April 2020. So by October, November of 2020, I was like living in Brooklyn, took the train to Manhattan with my sister. We started interviewing people, asking them if they knew about Bitcoin. Like this was the midst of COVID and people were mad at me that I wasn't social distancing, but whatever. Um, and so yeah, it was like a big uh debacle, but anyway, I just wanted to take adoption into my own hands and started just like making videos, going on the streets. Uh, and then I started harassing Charles Payne from Fox Business and I kept DMing him and DMing him and commenting and commenting until he finally answered me. And by 18 years old, he put me on Fox Business. So, it's been over five years since I've been participating uh with that network. And, you know, it just kind of kept going from there. Then conferences were calling me like, "Hey, come do this workshop, do that workshop." I actually ditched my high school graduation to go teach uh an NFT workshop in Miami. So, you know, I've sacrificed everything uh for crypto because I fully believe in the revolution. And so, now it's just like kind of escalating to a point where, you know, Bitcoin conference is like, hey, we do really need that education, come to Asia. Um hopefully I could do some stuff in Nashville. That's TBD. Uh but yeah, I'm really I'm really like working so hard and this is a lot of the things I do are multi-year plays. Um especially with, you know, and I'll reveal my plans once they come to to fruit, some of them. Um, but a lot of what I'm doing has been like a multi-year plan, a multi-year stretch. And I know a lot of people are not okay with that. They if they don't see results right away, they quit. Um, but everything comes in due time. It's divine timing. And I really I really believe in God's plan. And like I'm still here. There's no reason like I say this to people a lot, like there's no reason I should be here. You know, I don't have a college degree um in finance um in business or in um you know, social media or broadcast journalism. Like I don't have a degree in any of this. But I really wanted to prove that even if you can't afford college, if you keep pushing, you follow your dreams, like the American dream is still real. Uh, and that's the plan right now, which is like a multi multi-year plan. So, I'm going into uh year seven and I'm hoping by year 10 I a lot of my things uh come to fruit and blossom. >> Yeah, well said. And you know what it comes down to? It's of course what Enen is talking about or Enso Mining. education is a superpower and like you said things happen at the right place at the right time as far as God's plan. >> So with these things that you're talking about this was what you were supposed to do and I will say that uh well there's there's actually two things. First of all I think because we are here that is the reason for this pump. Uh Jimmy says that Bitcoin the crypto market is pumping 8,500. You're >> let's go. >> You're welcome crypto market. We did it. And then >> yeah, the second thing, Ren, is because like like you said, I'm one of the few Gen Z's out there that actually are educating everybody. When you go talk to your peer group and you're telling and not just Hong Kong, we're talking like every everywhere else. What is the biggest push back you get or do you get push back or is it just a bunch of questions? Because I look at it like when I grew up investing wasn't a thing. We grew up very poor. We didn't really understand that. But as time has gone on, I'm like, wouldn't it be great if someone would have told me about the S&P 500, about dollar cost averaging, about the long-term effects? What do you see when you're talking to people? What do you get back? >> You know, honestly, a lot of a lot of people in Gen Z are already on Robin Hood and they're already on these apps. So, I think the accessibility is there, so the mindset's a little bit different, but I don't think there's much push back other than like they just don't understand fundamentally what it is. And like they think like, "Oh, I I can't afford $80,000. What do you mean? I can't buy that. And I'm like, oh, it's a currency exchange. Like, you know, 100 cents is to a dollar. You don't have to own a whole whole dollar if you go to the airport, do the currency conversion. You're not looking at the charts. You're like, hey, here's my hundred US. Give me the equivalent in euros, Hong Kong dollars, whatever it is. And then that's what clicks for them. So, I think we just need like again that basic education to kind of overcome like these narratives that were put out there that's too expensive or things like that. But I think ultimately uh the only kind of push back I get now is from women. Um, for example, I was, you know, I do my solo dates and things and I film like food vlogs and connected to crypto. So, I was sleeping one night eating sushi at the sushi bar, just, you know, recording myself as I do. And these girls came up to me. They're like, "What do you do?" So, I started telling them, you know, I do like food stuff mixed with crypto and like lifestyle, whatever. And they were like, "What do you mean Bitcoin?" And I was like, "Yeah, like do you know about Bitcoin?" They're like, "Well, it's just always mansplained to me." And I just I you know I hear this guy's into it and that guy's into it, but I don't ever hear about women getting into it and then when a man tries to explain it to me, I just don't freaking get it. And like they were saying, it essentially goes over their head. And then when I explain it to them, they're like, "Oh, wait, no, this actually makes sense." Um, and I think it's just in a way of the way like men operate in their brain, which is a little more logical to the point where like women like are a little bit more like storytelling. Um, and like kind of break it down in a different way. I think there's just a difference between men and women how we explain things. But I think mansplaining has been like the biggest obstacle, especially to get women uh into finance because typically finance is just like you think of like the trades on Wall Street with their suits and their little cashmere sweaters and you don't you don't think about you know how fun Bitcoin and crypto actually is. I even said this on Fox Business at 18. I was like, why don't people go and have fun? Go and transact. Like, open a QR code with your friend. Like, you guys open some wallets, send money back and forth, mint an NFT, put art on the blockchain. You'll see how easy it is. And just gify the experience. And I think even, you know, people are starting to use crypto without knowing it's crypto. Like Poly Market. A lot of Gen Z are on Poly Market. They don't know that's based on freaking blockchain, but it's easy enough to use, easy enough to understand. Hey, I pay money, do pull, win, pull, get money. Okay. And I think that's just kind of where we're headed. So the stars, as someone commented, uh the stars are aligning. I fully believe that 100%. And uh I think it's just a matter of time until people are just saying, you know what, I don't even carry cash in my pocket. Their pennies don't exist anymore. I might as well just go and do something uh with crypto because at least it's money that belongs to me. It's digitally native. Um and we're using AI agents as well. All my friends are using AI every freaking day for everything. No matter if they're nurses, you know, for a test or just like, you know, doing finance, insurance, like all my friends across all these sectors, they're using AI. And obviously, like what is going to, you know, pay AI or what is AI going to use to pay for things? Crypto. So, we're absorbing the world's wealth. Even the whole notion of like, oh, just a nine-to-five stockery. Like, no, now you could get do stocks 24/7 with tokenization. even the NASDAQ, New York Stock Exchange in January of this year. No one paid attention, but they were like, "Hey guys, just so you know, like we're gonna be doing this stuff on blockchain though." And then, oh, we're just going to get a rush. So, I think people are just going to have to see the next bull run and all that. The crazy people like us that have been talking about these things for years. We're finally going to be right. They're going to be like, "Oh my god." I think the next run is really going to be it. Um, something about it just tells me that we're just we're gearing up for something big. I've been feeling this for the past year. Um, something has just been really pressing on my heart. Even though a lot of people were down in the trenches, we had a cold card, all these freaking shenanigans that I believe were coordinated. We don't have to get into that, but I really do believe that, you know, we're building up to something absolutely massive and people just really aren't ready for it. But I am, and I'm ready to bring that education to them when it comes time. So, everyone that stuck around, you you will win. You will win. >> And you know what? And it's a good thing you're here because like you talked about, there are there's a demographic you just explained that I don't talk to and that is mostly females on my channel. I think I have five that do me and the other 99.9% all a bunch of dudes. So, we have that part and then also we have the Gen Z part. So, with you there, it kind of encompasses everything that we're trying to do. So, before we get out of here, and it goes so fast. It goes so fast. >> I know. I was like, I can't believe it's over. >> Let's the the the theme today that I've asked everybody, and we talked about this at length, is the cycles, the four-year cycles. Where is Bitcoin going? And I know in the long term, I think we're going to hit it. We're going to do great, right? In the long term, this next quarter coming up, and you've talked to a lot of people, you've seen a lot of sensemen, and you've been a lot of shows. So, when you think about it for a Q4, what do you see? >> You know, I think it's either gonna be like a massive run or it's just going to be chill. We got midterms coming up. We got clarity. Um, it really depends on the banks because and and hear me out here. The Clarity Act was just all smoking mirrors. It was just like what banker is going to pay Liz Warren to yap yap yap. And and the reason why they're doing that is I actually explained this on my show yesterday with an article to back me. is like all these like 21 and and notice the number 21 global banks all of a sudden between the US and Europe are going to team up on stable coins. Well, what were the bankers paying Liz Warren to complain about stable coins? It was because they were cooking. They weren't ready to put the meal out on the counter. So, they were like, "Hey, Liz Warren, just yap and and and screw it all up for a little bit. Postpone this and let us cook." Because the banks in the US were like, "No, stable coins. we can't have it because because uh we're not ready. You're not allowed to have yield because we don't give you yield. So why should you get yield from somewhere else? And then in in Europe, they were like the banks were saying and Christine Lagard from the ECB, she's like, "Oh my gosh, you guys can't have stable coins. Stable coins are bad, especially US denominated ones. But the euro, we need the digital euro, the CBDC, not a stable coin." Oh. Oh. What happened in that same article? She they're saying that there's going to be euro denominated stable coins in tandem with the US dollar denominated stable coins. So the banks at the end of the year are going to roll this thing out and then the Clarity Act will pass because the banks are ready to pass it. That's why I tell tell everyone do not bet your freaking price action, your portfolio, nothing on what the Clarity Act is doing because they don't care about you. It's all theater. Gary Gendler, Operation Showoint 2.0 know was scripted to hold back crypto again until the banks were ready for Genius Act. And then once they had Genius Act, they're like, "Wait, hold on. We have clarity, but we're not ready for clarity. Let's just tell them what we're going to do and then like actually do it later on. >> Never when people expect it." Same with the Bitcoin Reserve. >> Never when people expect it. It's well, you know what that uh you just encompassed probably an entire show of what I would would talk about into a condensed very thoughtful version of why [laughter] is not going to go through. Very nice. So be before we get out of here, the last question is this. Randy, do you have any do you have any dogs? Got any cats? Got any pets? Anything like that? Rob, you're torturing me right now because I [laughter] I have I had a phase about a month ago where I was just like stalking puppies and like at all these shelters and then there was this like black golden doodle that was uh on Facebook Marketplace. I was scrolling Facebook Marketplace which is dangerous but I was and there was this family that posted this beautiful puppy. He was like 8 weeks old and they were like we don't want him and it broke my heart and I wanted to go get him but I traveled too much and like you know cuz I did two weeks in Europe. I did two weeks in Vegas. I just did two I just did a week in Hong Kong. I would stay another week if I did have obligations back here. I don't have any pets and I don't like cats. I'm not a cat person. Um but I really love puppies. I really want one. Can't have one right now. And I'm practicing self-control because I can't afford puppy daycare. >> That's a pretty good plan. And I will just say when you ever come down to Puerto Rico, we'll do one of these. We we'll go to the uh newly built animal shelter. We'll do some dog walks on the beach. There's always volunteers that come in. Usually it's around 10 to 20 of us and we just uh get to get these guys out of the kennel, but uh this and of course everybody, I know you're sick of hearing this, but >> uh as we go through this and we get 10 to 20,000 views or whatever else it is, if everybody pitches in 20 bucks, we can hit our goal 200K. We can build up this new animal shelter. I'll be doing videos of updates of how we built it and how we've saved these poor poor poor dogs. And that is it for this one. So, links in the description for everything, especially for Randy and her exac account and YouTube account. So, Randy, thanks for coming by. I will see you in Miami. >> Yes. Oh my gosh, Rob. I'm so excited, guys. ITC conference. Use code 2026 for your discount. Um, and I'm so I'm so excited to speak there. Shout out to Ben Cohen for having me. And, uh, yeah, tune in to my daily live show Monday through Thursday. gonna do Monday through Friday once um things pick up in the fall, but Monday through Thursday 9:45 a.m. Eastern on YouTube xkick, Twitch, Rumble, wherever you watch live streams. And my uh handle is Miss Team Crypto or look up my name Randy Hipper on every platform. We are expanding. We are dominating and we will take over the world and uh do good [music] with it. So, thank you Rob. Thank you for your quiz. You're doing absolutely amazing. Just know I'm your [music] number one fan and uh hope you and the family are well. Sending my love. >> Fantastic. Brandy, thanks so much for your time. I appreciate it. Let's get out of here. So everybody again, donation when you can. If you can, that'd be great. [music] Now we're going to uh take a little break. Very short break as a matter of fact, as I bring in friend of the show, Jerry Beh Hall. So let's get this going. Give me a couple minutes or so. Be right back.
