Video summary

The video addresses a developing legal situation involving Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman, who has been arrested in Georgia following allegations of family violence. According to reports from TMZ and court documents obtained by the outlet, Bateman is accused of smashing the windows of his partner's car with an object while their three-month-old child was seated in the back seat. The incident allegedly occurred around 6:00 a.m. on June 3rd, resulting in shattered glass that caused lacerations to the victim's face and multiple contusions. Authorities state that Bateman surrendered to the Walton County Sheriff on the same day the incident took place, marking the beginning of an ongoing legal process that remains unresolved as of the time of the report. In response to the arrest, representatives for both the Baltimore Ravens and Bateman have issued statements emphasizing that this is a pending legal matter being handled by law enforcement. A Ravens spokesperson confirmed that the organization is aware of the situation, has been in direct communication with Bateman, and has notified the league office while cooperating throughout the process. Meanwhile, Bateman's attorney, Jordan Steve, argued that the personal family situation has been taken out of context for sensational reasons and stated that they will allow the court process to unfold so that the full facts can emerge. The lawyer also noted that while a no-contact order was initially in place, the court later allowed Bateman to see his partner once she completed her required classes, though violent contact remains prohibited. The video speculates on potential motivations behind the timing of these reports, noting that rumors of Bateman's arrest had circulated as fake news in June before being dismissed due to a lack of official confirmation. The narrator suggests that it is not uncommon in the NFL for teams to dig up damaging information on players, particularly if there was friction regarding contract offers, such as the Houston Texans' initial interest in Bateman which the Ravens declined. This theory adds a layer of complexity to the narrative, suggesting that the allegations could be part of a broader league-wide issue where teams aggressively investigate players before free agency or roster decisions. Ultimately, the video concludes by warning fans and observers that this situation casts a cloud over the team and the player until a resolution is reached, as such serious allegations do not simply disappear from public consciousness. The narrator emphasizes that without all the information coming to light, it is impossible to determine the truth of the allegations or predict how the case will end, whether Bateman is cleared or faces further consequences. As the legal proceedings continue, the team and the player must navigate this difficult period while awaiting official decisions that could significantly impact Bateman's future with the Ravens and his standing within the NFL community.

Well, definitely not my favorite kind of update video to do for the Baltimore Ravens, but this could potentially maybe impact the Baltimore Ravens in the very near future. We'll see what ends up happening. But, uh, it does involve Rashad Baitman and it does involve some allegations that were made against the Baltimore Ravens wide receiver. Before we get into what those allegations are, let's look up the definition of the word allegations because it's very important that everybody knows that moving forward. So, an allegation is a claim or statement that someone has done something wrong or illegal, but it has not yet been proven true. So, it's important to remember that when it comes to anybody being alleged of anything. So, uh this report came out from TMZ today. It said, "NFL star Rasha Baitman arrested for allegedly attacking baby mama's car with a three-month-old in the back seat." So, just just read the article. Said, "NFL star Rashad Baitman is accused of family violence in Georgia after he allegedly smashed the windows of his baby mama's car while his three-month-old was inside." TMZ had learned. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the alleged victim told cops the incident happened around 6:00 a.m. on June 3rd. So, I don't remember the exact dates, and correct me if I'm wrong, but remember when there was a time period where Rashad Baitman was absent from the Ravens facility and head coach, Jesse Manner, said Rashad Baitman, is he dealing with some personal stuff, but we know exactly when he'll be back. And I commended that cuz I'm like, okay, that that's good. The head coach, he knows exactly what's going on with Rashad Baitman. Could this have been what he was dealing with? Maybe. I don't remember exactly when the timeline, but maybe. Anyway, uh continuing, it says, "Authorities claim Rashad used an object to break the windshield and driver's side window of the alleged victim's 2021 bins. According to the arrest warrant, glass shattered and caused multiple small lacerations to the alleged victim's face. The officer noted they saw some glass in her face when talking to her in multiple contusions to her face." The doctors say the couple's three-month-old was sitting in a car seat in the back, excuse me. The documents say the couple's three-month-old was sitting in a car seat in the back row. Attorneys for Rashad say the Baltimore Ravens wide receiver surrendered to the Walton County Sheriff the same day. So again, June 3rd. June 3rd. Anyway, says a couple of weeks later, Rashad asked the court to remove the no contact order claiming the alleged victim indicated she wanted to have contact with him. The court signed off on the request, but still ordered the NFL star to not have violent contact with his baby mama. The judge ordered that Rashad is allowed to see his baby mama once he completes her class. The case is ongoing. We reached out to the Ravens and Rashad's camp. So far, no word back. But then an update came out from the Baltimore Ravens, uh, where it said, "A spokesperson for the Baltimore Ravens told TMZ, "We are aware of the situation involving Rashad and have been in direct communication with him. We notified the league office and have been cooperating throughout the process. As this is a pending legal matter, we will not have further comment." So, Raven's letting it be known, hey, we know everything that's going on. We know exactly what's happening. We got all the details and whatnot. now it's being handled by law enforcement. They gonna handle it. We'll wait it out till everything goes down. Then another update came out uh from Rashad Baitman's lawyer, Jordan Steve. It said um he told TMZ, "It is unfortunate that a personal family situation has been taken completely out of context for sensational reasons. We will let the court process play out and the facts will come out at that time." So his lawyer let it be known like, "Look, y'all ain't got all the facts. everything will come out when it comes out and it'll be handled then. Um, but this is just something to keep an eye on, something to continue to pay attention to because again, this this is something. Um, again, strong allegations. I I'm not can't say it's something I'm not saying that the allegations are true because we don't know, but I'm saying this is something that has to be monitored. It's something that has to be watched. It's something that has to be paid attention to. Um because [sighs] who knows what direction it could take. It could come out in a week or two, a couple months, whatever. It could come out. Hey, Rashad Baitman is cleared of everything. Everybody moves on. But then uh it could come out on the flip side of that. We'll just wait out and see what happens. I did see somebody say that especially [snorts] with the the video that we just did a couple of hours ago in regards to Rashad Baitman and the Texans being interested in Rashad Baitman. I saw somebody say, "You know what, the Texans, they probably leaked this information uh because the Ravens declined their initial offer for Rashad Baitman." And initially, I laughed at that, but then I I thought, "Wait, whoa, whoa, whoa. That actually, [sighs] it doesn't sound too far-fetched because the NFL is such a nasty business. It's such a nasty game. And you know these teams like they they could dig up information on anything on anybody just like that. So when I saw that again initially it was funny but then I thought about said wait that you know you you know what you never know. You never know. Um but hopefully this can all get cleared up uh sooner rather than later. Um so we can all just figure out what what's getting ready to happen next. Um yeah, so that's that. Uh Rashad Bin has obviously been uh with the Baltimore Ravens uh way past that because again they said that was June 3rd and he turned himself in and whatnot. Um but he's been with the team since not right after that but shortly after that. Uh obviously he's been there for all the training camp, been there for the preseason there in Minnesota, uh where he went to school at for the joint practices with the Vikings. So, he's continued to be there, but now it's like with this coming out, this is like it's like a cloud. It it can become like a cloud over the team until there's a resolution. Um because stuff like this, it just it doesn't just go people don't just forget about it like that. They don't it doesn't just disappear like that, especially with it being fresh. Um, and with Rashad Baitman, him having gotten a lot of attention for for strictly football reasons for the majority of this offseason all up until now. Um, so we'll see what happens. Um, I really can't comment either way on it because again, we don't have all the information. All the information hasn't come out. No decisions have been made one way or another. So, while we wait for more information, anything else comes out, we'll continue to update you. Uh, and I know y'all will stay on top of things as well. Um, because it was actually, uh, my guy Gav Gavin, he had hit me up because I was chilling. Uh, I was playing the game and then my Gavin, my my guy Gavin, he said, "Oh, I he said, I'll be waiting for that video tonight." I'm thinking, "What video is he talking about?" Like, what what we just we just dropped a video like what was it? It was like an hour before he said that. They're like, "What's this dude talking about, man?" And he said, "Bait just got arrested." I said, "What?" Said, "You sure?" And and then he said, "I sent you the post real quick." And then I said, "You know what? Let let me" And he told me to as well. He said, "Check Twitter as well." And I said, I was already on the way. Said, "Let me check Twitter." I logged on. Boom. It was right there. Soon as I opened Twitter, it was right there. I said, "Oh, man." I said, "That's tough." Now, uh, what's interesting is that there was a report, I think it was back in June, that it was going around and it was saying that somebody named Rashad Baitman had got arrested in Georgia and a lot of people shut it down as fake. We didn't want to, we weren't going to make no video on it because we hadn't seen anything. We hadn't heard anybody talking about. We hadn't seen any official reports on it back then cuz so many people were saying it's fake and no again there was no official nothing on that and that was back a couple of months and I believe it was in June. I'm not sure exactly when it was but it was a while back and it was a it was a picture of Rashad Baitman and all he got arrested in Georgia and so he's like oh then then again it it it got just sort of shot down that it was fake. So I was like, "Okay, okay, nothing. Nothing happened on it." But that must have been that. That must have been that. And I wonder No, I mean, yeah, never mind. You know, NFL, man. It's It's a nasty business, man. That's we we just It's It's just a nasty business, man. Um, but when my guy had Gavin, he had told me about it, I just I looked and I was just like, "Oh, boy. Here we go. Here we go. Here we And then uh a bunch more people started sending me stuff, whether it be on Twitter, whether it be on Instagram, and it is just like, oh yeah, this thing is really catching some wind now. Um so again, uh we'll see what happens whenever we see whenever that ends up being and we'll just go from there. Um I love y'all. I appreciate y'all.
