Video summary

Boo$ie Bad azz discusses his recent appearance on the CBS program 60 Minutes, where he exposed a $600,000 scam involving promises of pardons in exchange for upfront payments from aspiring artists. He explains that while he was initially hesitant to return to prison after serving time, he felt compelled to speak out against the fraudulent practices targeting young talent. The segment highlights his frustration with these schemes and his desire to protect others from being exploited, noting that despite his serious stance on the issue, he remains a fan of fellow rapper Birdman and appreciates the positive energy brought by the Cash Money crew during their tour stops in Houston and New Orleans. A significant portion of the video focuses on the emotional reunion between Boo$ie Bad azz and Big Boi, who recently proposed to his girlfriend Brooke on stage during the Cash Money No Limit Tour. Boo$ie expresses deep joy at seeing Big Boi find love after spending over a decade in prison, emphasizing that maturity and wisdom often come with age and personal growth. He reflects on how his own perspective has shifted since his release, noting that he is now more grounded and less interested in the chaotic relationships of his past. The proposal was captured on camera, showing Big Boi's genuine emotion and the couple's commitment to building a future together, which Boo$ie views as a powerful testament to the possibility of redemption and happiness after incarceration. Throughout the video, Boo$ie pays tribute to his long-standing friends and collaborators who have also endured prison sentences, including Ice-T, Bun B, MJG, and OG Pyroo, celebrating their resilience and continued success in the music industry. He highlights the importance of supporting one another as a community, mentioning specific instances like his visits to Ice-T's home and his interactions with Mia X and other artists who have maintained their integrity despite past struggles. Boo$ie also promotes his new album, Criminal Migraine, available exclusively on his website, while encouraging fans to stay independent and true to themselves. He concludes by offering a message of hope to those currently incarcerated or facing difficulties, urging them not to lose their minds or spirit even when physically confined, and reminding everyone that it is never too late to start over with faith and determination.

[music] Yeah, we on Boss Talk TV. Shout out to E. >> A 60 Minutes investigation. >> How much did you give them up front? 600K. >> Pardon economy. >> This what I was led to believe. If you come with this money, you will get a pardon. >> It's time. 60 Minutes. New season CBS Sunday. >> Wow. Wow. Guys, make sure you like, subscribe to the channel, man. Listen, man. Booy went on 60 Minutes, man. And uh I I was man, it's been a crazy crazy weekend. Um man, um but Booy is serious about that 600K, man. But you know, but even though he's still he definitely don't want to get screwed over by nobody, y'all know how I am. I'm a big Booy fan. So when you look at Booy and what Booya has accomplished in the time that he's been outside, you know, of course, you know, um doing his thing, you know, he he when he got hit, he didn't want to go back down there. So I I I can't blame him. But all that said, I man I step out for one minute and y'all lose y'all damn mind, man. Shout out to the South, man. Um I'm just so happen to be on the East Coast. I know y'all been seeing this me over here doing my thing, you know, and and and I had to stop and acknowledge the South and what's going on down there. Uh man, I'm I'm crazy right now. I'm like, I can't go nowhere without y'all acting up, man. And I'm just so, you know, when I first looked, I I seen the 60-minute thing, but Booy working, man. Them boys, they've been all over the stage in Houston, in New Orleans. Now, this this this went crazy, man. And y'all already know, man. I I seen, man, first of all, the Houston thing [music] to see um Master P performing How You Do That was was touching to me because of the fact of the last time he's performed that that song, I was uh I was on the stage with him on a on a big big platform [music] uh for the verses. And so we was on a big big network and everything and everybody from across the uh world was watching and you know we lost young bleed right after that. I mean that night I end up at the hospital not not hours after that. Uh he uh end up passing away with a brain aneurysm. But uh that was the last time I seen that song performed. So the CP have to perform it by itself. that put me back at that situation. And I was like, damn, man. Like, you know, I like I said, it's tough, man. You know, uh I wish I could have been there with them down in Htown. I know we going to be in Dallas together. I already done uh uh block them times out so I could be there uh in Dallas with them when they perform uh uh the next goround. Shout out to Birdman. You know, Birdman, as y'all already know, I'm a Birdman fanatic. So to see him on the stage with these guys, man. And you know, like I said, the last time we was we we all were together, it was a it was a dope event. And you know, I never forget the stuff that that that happened occurred during that time. But man, also BG, man, BG done got is BG, man. Listen, man. BG is is is done proposed, man. And and you got to understand that how much this meant to me because I was able to see the process um last time we were all together, me, his him and his old lady and me and my old lady. And it it was just epic and and and I told him some things and and a little bit was was caught on camera. Not all of it, but a little bit was caught on camera. You know, people, you know, we we got to chopping it up and it were crazy conversation. You know, I I ain't going to lie to you. Uh, it's it's crazy when you look at >> Come, man. Man, come on, man. I had to come, man. >> I had to on our way over there right now. >> Come on, man. Me and the wife here with me, too. >> Come on. >> I'm on my way. I'm on my way. Give me back 10 minutes. >> About to come up here, man. We about to uh Listen, we came up to Vegas. BG, >> don't do that [ __ ] Don't do that. >> Listen, man. Listen, man. BG about to come up here. We about to chop it up. No further questions. Cut that the camera. What you doing, man? Who is this woman, man? >> WHO IS THIS WOMAN, MAN? >> STOP, MAN. >> YOU AIN'T BEEN OUT LONG ENOUGH, MAN. Come on, man. >> That's where I felt when I got that. When I came home, [ __ ] >> I was ready. You [laughter] >> once you get the right one, you know. >> Come on, man. You know, >> you know, ain't no ain't no game. Yeah, we on Boss. >> So guys, you as you see, I seen it. I seen the handwriting on the wall. BG proposes uh to uh Brooke, man. That's his that's is Hey, man. That's his soulmate. So, you know, uh you know, yeah, love still can happen for you [ __ ] man. If BG can get to it, if I've been over here for 25 years, 24 years, hell, it the time pass fast. But if if it can work, you know what I'm saying? And I'm pretty sure he came home, he seeing everybody getting to it. Uh, Bird, man, you know, and his his his his soulmate, you know what I'm saying? Tony Braxton. And then you you look at all the people around good folks, man. Doing things that are legitimate, man. Like I said, um, I'm up here, you know? I've been like, like I said, me and Ice, I've been hanging out with Ice T, man. You got to think about it, man. He married Coco, you know, everybody, man. Shout out to all these people who doing what they supposed to do, man, to keep it 100, keep it solid, man. Bun and Queeny like like it's some dope couples and dope people that that synodize around this thing to tell you you can't say it can't happen, it can't work. So I I think with with us linking up, I think uh I could safely say that uh I was definitely a part of just recognizing that that he had found somebody that he really cared about and and that he I could see I could see that happening. So BG proposes big time. uh um uh uh taking that one knee, you know, getting down on that thing, you know, uh uh looking up saying, "Will you be mine?" I don't know what hand to put the damn ring on, but uh I'm in the building. We in we in this thing, man. He did it on the stage in front of a hometown crowd at at the Smoothie uh uh the theater. They they did the Cash Money No Limit thing. Of course, we hadn't seen nothing like that. So, man, shout out to them, man. and and shout out to uh uh the movement, but just shout out to him and congratulations to him, man. Because to be gone for 12, 13 years and to finally come home and to be able to find love is a big thing. Like I say, when you come out of that thing, you don't know what's going to happen. You trying to figure out if this really going to be something that you can even do anymore. And to for him to come home and get, you know, this whole thing, God bless him double for his trouble. So to see him and Brooke get together, I knew, like I said, when I when they came through, I knew they was, you know, I knew they had uh they had mad love for each other. Um when we talk with them on the show, >> you know, I ain't never, [laughter] >> you know what I mean? But you know, I'm a point in my life now where you know, you know, you just get tired sometimes. You just be like, man, you know what, >> man? I'm You heard me. >> Yeah. This this she do it for me. You know what I'm saying? I do it for her. You know what I mean? And man, I'm not tunnel vision. That's what you're supposed to have, bro. >> And and and that's what I'm >> Come on, man. I knew you was serious when y'all start posting. [laughter] >> We got married in 4 months. >> Hey, you knew it was serious. Huh? >> You heard what she said. We got married in 4 months. >> Damn, [ __ ] I'm an entreprene. And it's 20 years later. 23 years later. >> Oh, really? She messed up the date. [laughter] This [ __ ] is going on. 24 years we going on crazy. >> That was the main thing people were saying when we popped out was like over 5 minutes. We're going to give him 10 days. We going to get 30 minutes. Man, they had felt like it was a real time. And I was like, I fell for this man the first night he got off the elevator. >> But you got to understand when you been locked up, you had time to sit down. And you think about all them bad ass relationships you was in too. You like >> that was messed up. I shouldn't have did that. Next thing you know, you kind of you know what you look like and with with age and with growth come maturity. That's what I mean. So, you know, I'm I'm I'm I'm way more mature than I was before I went to the bank. You know what I'm saying? And and way more wiser. You know what I mean? But um >> And you know what you have. >> Yeah, man. Nah. And you don't want to mess that up. Big fat. >> Wow. Wow. So, you see I seen it in his eyes. BG had the gleam in his eyes when I seen him. So, and that's my dog. Y'all already know how I roll with BG. Y'all have seen him on the show several times. That's the guy right there. You know, when you've been through that pain, you think about the people that come on Boss Talk 101, man, it's a lot of them been through things. Shout out to Twisted Black who did 17 years. Like I will pull up on them with no problem and with no hesitation. So at the end of the day, that's what you guys see. And don't forget OG Pyroo that's 25 years man in the bucket. So I rock with the ones who been through it. And that's what y'all keep seeing man. And that's what make it so hard. That's why he keep saying how he dealing with him. How you dealing with them?
