Video summary
BlizzCon is set to be a massive event for fans of Blizzard Entertainment, with a significant focus on the future of World of Warcraft and the upcoming Classic expansion. The host, who has been streaming for nearly a decade, is organizing a special community party titled "Sans Big Blizzcon Extravaganza" on September 11th at the Marriott Hotel, located right next to the convention center. This event is free to attend and will feature music, dancing, and a cosplay contest limited to the first fifty registrants. The host emphasizes that this gathering is a way to give back to the community after years of advocating for official Classic servers, transforming his history with private servers into a legitimate partnership with Blizzard.
The main convention day on September 12th promises an extensive schedule filled with developer panels, live streams, and competitive tournaments across various Blizzard titles. Key highlights include the opening ceremony, a "What's Next" panel for World of Warcraft, the Overwatch MDI finals, and the Hearthstone World Championship quarterfinals. The host plans to provide comprehensive coverage by streaming non-stop on Twitch, YouTube, Kick, and Rumble, offering both in-person reactions from the crowd and desktop setups. He also intends to explore different areas of the convention center, such as the Dark Moon Fair returning to a second-floor location and various demo zones, ensuring fans get real-time updates and insights into the latest game developments.
Beyond the gaming content, BlizzCon will feature special guest appearances, including CD Projekt Red for a "30 Years of Cyberpunk" panel, which offers an intriguing crossover opportunity for fans of both franchises. The event will also showcase community creativity through contests and live entertainment, celebrating the artistry and contributions of Blizzard's fanbase. The host notes that while some panels might be controversial or confusing, such as discussions on class mechanics, the overall atmosphere is expected to be positive and engaging. With a schedule spanning Friday night through Sunday evening, the event aims to bring together players old and new for a celebration of gaming culture and shared experiences.
Ultimately, BlizzCon represents a significant milestone for the World of Warcraft community and Blizzard fans in general, offering a unique blend of official announcements, competitive play, and community interaction. The host's personal journey from being on a developer blacklist to becoming a trusted voice within the industry underscores the event's significance as a place where reputations are rebuilt and connections are strengthened. Whether attending the pre-convention party or watching the live streams, fans can expect a weekend packed with surprises, new adventures for Azeroth, and opportunities to reconnect with family and friends through the shared love of World of Warcraft.

So, World of Warcraft, what's next? Join
the World of Warcraft team for a look at
the next chapter of Azeroth with new
adventures, features, and surprises for
players, old and new.
All right, let's talk a little bit about
BlizzCon. There's a lot of talk about
BlizzCon going on right now, everybody.
Why? Because Blizzcon is about a week
and a half away. Uh, and one of the
things that's happening at Blizzcon is
on September 11th, I'm hosting a big
party. It's going to be a community
event, okay? Party, mixer for everybody.
It is free. I'm paying for it myself out
of pocket. We got some sponsors and
stuff to help kind of subsidize some of
the cost, but it is in I'm paying for it
out of pocket and it's very very
expensive, but it's already said and
done. Yes, it's on September 11th. That
is only because Blizzcon is on September
12th, okay? And this channel, this is
the place to watch everything Blizzcon,
everything Classic WoW. Look, this has
always been the Classic WoW waiting
room. 9 and a half years ago when I
started my channel, it was Classic Wow.
It was private servers. It was the rep
pryo, the paladin police force. Okay.
And we finally got classic wow. We
finally got it. Grand Marshall, scare
lord in the same week. Leading the
crusade, molten core, blackwing layer,
AQ40, next ramis, you name it. Fourtime
gladiator in Burning Crusade. What the
party is called? Sans big Blizzcon
extravaganza. Yeah, there's a
registration for it at
blizzcon.sfand.tv.
It is free to attend. It is a community
event. The reason why I wanted to do
this is because, like I said, 10 years
ago when I started my channel, it was
all about Classic WoW. That's all I
wanted. I wanted to get official Legacy
servers. We started the classic cast. We
we we were pushing for Classic WoW,
leading the charge, doing everything,
trying to get in touch with Blizzard,
trying to trying to work with Blizzard
directly. You know, the days of working
with like Brian and Omar and and those
guys who who made Classic happen in the
first place. You know, making Classic
happen in the first place was just like
a project. Yeah. So, that's happening.
It's going to be on Friday night, the
night before. There's going to be a
registration for it. So, you can get all
the details there. It It's basically
just going to be a big event. It's going
to be hosted at the uh the Marriott. So,
Marriott Hotel, right next to the
convention center. Now, I will say this.
I did find out after paying for this why
people don't host events at the BlizzCon
hotels because they upcharge you out the
ass. And uh it is a major operation at a
loss. I don't even want to say how much.
Okay. But this is something that like
it's important to me as like a hey, I've
I've been streaming for almost 10 years.
It's uh my birth week at Blizzcon. I've
been streaming for almost 10 years. This
is kind of like my way of like giving
back to the community. And this is where
it all kind of began and it's kind of
coming full circle. You know, everything
that we've done for like Classic WoW and
to try and like push for that in the
community and everything else. And you
know, we got all that. Then like the
push for Classic Plus came and and
everything that's kind of happened
behind the scenes. And a lot of you guys
kind of know at this point like how
involved I've been for for years and
kind of coming from like my history of
being a private server guy, you know,
getting banned, being on the Blizzard
blacklist, which I there was a
blacklist. I don't know if there still
is. Probably is, but there was a
blacklist and I was on it. But then like
kind of like rebuilding my reputation,
people kind of seeing like, hey, like
this guy's legit. This guy's cares so
much. And then being like so like
working like hand in hand and and kind
of giving that feedback and stuff. That
stuff is great. Sure. Like some of that
is like on me, but a lot of that is on
the community and like the people that
have been so supportive of me over the
years. People see that like, oh, like
fans community is a good community. It's
a good normal respectable community.
Man, I go to I go to BlizzCon and it's
the ego just shoots through the roof cuz
I just see all these people that are
just they just love WoW. They're they're
happy to be there. They're excited to be
there. I was talking to a guy who said
he like reconnected with his sister last
Blizzcon over WoW like classic coming
out, you know, and he's like, man, like
everything that that you guys do and
like kind of like pushing for classic
and all this stuff is like it it means
so much to to have people that are so
supportive and pushing for this because
he wasn't like really close with his
family and then they started playing WoW
together and they kind of like
reconnected over years and it was like
super super cool. So yeah, no, I mean
it's it's stuff like that means a lot or
like even seeing like my guild, right?
getting to see the guild at Blizzcon and
just seeing like the kind of community
that we've built and it just means a lot
to me. So for me, this is something
that's like kind of like a giving back
and you know it'll be a fun event.
Everybody will get to see each other,
meet each other and that'll happen
Friday night. It'll be like a party,
right? It'll be music, it'll be dancing
and all that stuff at night. I want to
have a cosplay contest. So by the way,
if you are going to have a cosplay at
Blisscon, there will be a cosplay
contest. I think we're going to limit
the entries to like 50, the first 50
people who want to sign up for the
cosplay contest. As we get later into
the evening, the music will ramp up and
it'll be a little bit of party thing
before before Blizzcon. And then as the
night ends, the next day, we're going to
be like hitting the ground. I'm probably
going to sleep like 3 hours. I'm going
to be honest with you. I'm probably
going to sleep 3 hours and then I'm
hitting the ground running with Blizzcon
coverage. You know, my channel, hey,
twitch.tv/sfantv.
This is the place to be for BlizzCon
coverage. We are going to have drops for
the event. So, there's going to be
Blizzcon drops, all the coverage,
whatever it is. You want to talk
Blizzcon, you want to watch BlizzCon,
I'll be spamming YouTube videos. We have
a whole sort of content plan that's
going to be going out. So, it'll start
with the party and then from the party
we're just going to be on the ball.
We'll be doing IRL a little bit at
Blizzcon. We'll be doing desktop reacts
at Blizzcon. We're going to be involved
with a lot of different things. There's
a whole schedule. Actually, there won't
be 10 fat guys at the party. I don't I
don't think I don't think the 10 fat
guys are going to make it to the party.
They're going to be very busy. No,
there's not a Frick fan contest. Okay,
we had to we had to cancel the Frick
fan. That's the plan for the party the
night before. So, if you guys are going
to Blisscon, I can't wait to see you
guys. You don't have to be a Blizzcon
attendee to go. Next thing, like I said,
we're going to have drops all Blizzcon.
We'll be spamming YouTube videos. There
will constantly be updates, but you are
going to be wanting to watch my Twitch
channel. Now, I'll be live everywhere.
I'll be live on Kick. I'll be live on
YouTube. I'll be live on Rumble, right?
But of course, Twitch, that's kind of
mainly where I stream. I'll be live on
Twitter, too, right on X, whatever. But
Twitch, where I mainly stream, that's
where you're going to get drops. Go to
my Twitch stream, create an account,
follow the stream, type in chat, all
that stuff. You'll end up getting drops.
And I'll be live for all of Blizzcon.
It's going to be non-stop IRL desktop
reacts. We're going to be looking at all
the panels. We're going to be doing a
lot. And actually, I want to go over the
BlizzCon schedule is out. So, let's look
a little bit about what we have to look
forward to. Where is the schedule? Okay.
So, this is all based on central time.
So, it looks like at the beginning of
the day, it's straight opening ceremony
at 12:30. So, what is this? This 10:30
Pacific time. So, so this is all based
on Texas time. Oh, this is right
whenever I'm my normal stream. So yeah,
they're going to do opening ceremony to
start the day. This is on September
12th. September 11th is big Blizzcon
extravaganza. This be late night. That's
a late night party like 10:00 at night
for Texas time. Diablo Immortal event.
So Oh, that's from 1:45 to 9:00. So
immortals going on at 2:00 p.m. So you
have the opening ceremony for an hour an
hour 15 minutes. World of Warcraft
what's next happening at the same time
as the Overwatch dev live stream. Uh,
Classic Cup, Heroes of the Storm,
Hearthstone World Championship
quarterfinal. So, World of Warcraft,
what's next? Join the World of Warcraft
team for a look at the next chapter of
Azeroth with new adventures, features,
and surprises for players old and new.
Okay, next you have on the Legend stage,
Trailer Craft. Discover how Blizzard
cinematics and trailers move uh from
first idea to Final F. Wait, how long is
this? This is uh 45 minutes. 2 to 245
and then there's nothing here.
Overwatch, MDI. Now, here's what we're
going to be doing. We're going to be
flipping back and forth between like
sitdown desktop reacts to the live
stream and IRL. Now, here's my question
for you guys. What would you rather
have? Would you rather have me be on the
floor reacting in the crowd at Blizzcon,
or would you rather have me reacting to
the stream and sitting at a desktop
setup? What would you guys rather like
to see in the crowd? 100%. Boots on the
ground journalism cuz I have the means.
Here's the thing. I I've I've spent
years like getting the tech, spending
all kinds of money on this stuff and
like kind of developing a whole process
for this. I'm going to have a setup to
be able to react at the desktop, which
is like cleaner and stuff like that, but
is it just I mean, I think a bunch of
people are going to be able to do that.
Not everybody can get on the ground and
be with the people. I am the people's
paladin. I should be with the people.
The people's paladin's got to be there
with the people instead of sitting at
top my freaking porcelain throne. Oh,
frick. I don't know, man. Frick. I got
to decide. I got to decide. I'm the
freaking people's paladin. And I'm not
the freaking ivory tower. I'm a small
mom and pop streamer, dude. Other panels
they have, they have building cutscenes
in World of Warcraft, MDI 2026 grand
finals, liquid versus mandatory, uh,
World of Warcraft what's next, too. So,
there's two what's next. So, this is at
4:45. Uh, which is actually going to
coincide with the World of Blizzard
sound design. Uh, and MDI Grand Finals.
Okay. So, I'll tell you right now, I bet
if MDI Grand Finals are here, this is my
this is my guess. at 2:00. We probably
are not. We might get a teaser for like
classic or something, but I bet if the
MDI grand finals are going on at the
same time as what's next two, I bet this
is your classic panel for 45 minutes.
That's my guess. Uh, World of Warcraft
developer ex-creator showcase. So, if
this is what it was last time, what did
we do last time? We got to play sod with
like a grand. So, this is probably some
kind of demo of some sort. It might be
retail Blizzcon Community Night.
Celebrate the creativity and artistry of
Blizzard community with an evening of
live entertainment featuring contests,
special guests, and shared moments. This
starts at 6:45 Central time. I will
probably be IRL on the floor doing this.
Blizzcon coming that goes until 9:00
p.m. So that's until 7:00. Kind of
funny. Brings it signature mix of games
conversation. So I don't I don't I'm not
sure what that is. So the next day, the
next day starts 11:00 a.m. Central with
the Overwatch World Cup semi-finals. 30
years of Battleet with special guest CD
Project Red is going to be there. Wait,
what? Why is CD Project Red going to be
there? That's not Blizzard. And wait,
can I complain about Blizzard while
playing Cyberpunk now? Cuz that'd be
sick. I would love to do that. World of
Warcraft Deep Dive. This is the the deep
dick pizza. So, World of Warcraft Deep
Dive will be at noon central time. World
of Warcraft crafting coziness and
creative freedom. World of Warcraft
designers share how they create warm,
expressive player homes through layouts,
decor customization, and small details
that make the space feel personal.
There's a lot of competitive stuff for
like Hearthstone, for Overwatch, AWC.
There's some stuff for Diablo. We might
watch this Diablo I what's next panel at
1:00 p.m. on Sunday. World building and
World of Warcraft I think will be
interesting. Join World Builders as they
unpack the craft of building memorable
worlds from cultures and geography from
visual language history. So yeah, some
of this stuff I want to react at the
desktop, I think. And some of the stuff
I want to react in the crowd. I'm Dude,
I'm the people's paladin. I gota I got
to get in the crowd. Keeping it real. I
gotta be in the crowd. The people's
paladin. Of I can't I can't be like a
freaking ivory tower freaking holier
than thou. I'm holy as thee as the
people's paladin. Okay. I need to spread
righteousness to the land. Porcelain
Tower. Same thing. World of Warcraft
design deep dive. Oh man. I don't know.
This could be one of those things that I
watch and I get like super angry.
I could I Dude, I just start like I
could tizz out real hard during some of
these. Dude, that's what happened last
year during the Sod announcement when we
talked about tanking rogues and healing
mages and I was like looking around the
room and everyone's like, "Yeah, yeah."
And I'm like, "What is happening? What?"
I was like the only person in the room
that was like having a panic attack. I'm
like, "What are you guys talking about?
This is not good." Voices of Blizzard.
Okay. Localization bringing Blizzard's
worlds together. World of Warcraft
hardcore. There's a hardcore panel.
Hardcore. What's next? That's
interesting. Trophy ceremony post show.
AWC grand finals. I wish they would have
done a freaking TBC arena tournament at
Blizzcon. That would have been sick.
Trophy ceremony live performance.
Lesseraphim in room experience only.
Yeah, we could be there for Oh, closing
remarks at 7:30 and then there's Lerapim
performing. It's going to be great. So,
yeah, that'll be all of Blizzcon
Saturday, Sunday, and Friday. Friday,
I'll be live. You know, I'll probably be
live for getting my ticket and and going
around and doing stuff and probably
setting up the room. Let's look at the
map. So, we can kind of infer some
things from looking at this map. So, you
got the main stage here, the World of
Warcraft stage right next to the main
stage. Hearthstone Classic Cup,
Overwatch World Cup. This is the arena.
Uh the Dark Moon Fair is on the second
floor. Oh, okay. They're bringing this
back. They didn't have this last last
Blisscon. They did the Dark Moon Fair in
like this weird place. This will be cool
to have like the Darkman fair up top
because like Blizzcon years ago was like
this. So the World of Warcraft stage,
you have like a meet and greet area. All
of Blizzcon is going to be a meet and
greet for me. But I might I might
announce something like, "Hey, if you
want to if you want to come meet me, I
mean, first off, you want to come meet
me, come to the party the night before."
And that's the that's the best place to
meet me and and get pictures and stuff
like that cuz I'll be very like from
place to place during the event. So like
I might not have time to like stand
around because things will be moving
pretty quickly. I typically get stun
locked a lot. So, streaming stations
here, some kind of World of Warcraft
demo area. I think whatever is going on
here, this is what happened last time.
There was the demo area and then there
was that creator developer thing and we
we streamed Sod with Arend. I feel like
I would know what that is. I think it's
retail because I feel like I would know
unless I got an email or something about
it and I just didn't see it. I I have no
idea. So, that's got to be like a retail
thing. Blizzcon's going to be special,
dude. Dude, we literally have no Pixel
and then we have Blizzcon right after
SPF's big Blizzcon extravaganza. Again,
drops all weekend. I will be live almost
247. It'll be like I I will be so I'll
be live harder than you've ever seen
anyone live before. I will be live a
lot. A lot a lot. I'll be IRL. I'll be
going to the booth. I'll be seeing the
people. Sans's big Blizzcon
extravaganza. You're not going to want
to miss it. It's a big community event.
All you guys are invited at the Marriott
Hotel. We're going to host it there.
Okay. Blizzcon.sfban.tv TV to register.
It's going to be great. It's gonna be
wonderful. SPN eats corn the long way.
Well, yeah. I mean, is there any other
way to eat corn?
