Biggest Life Insurance Sales Competition Ever: 5 Agents Battle for $121,000 (FULL SEASON)
Watch on YouTubeVideo summary
"The Ultimate Agent Contest" brings together five ambitious life insurance agents from across the country in Omaha, Nebraska, competing over six days for a grand prize of $121,000 under the guidance of top industry mentors like David Price and Brian Atkins. The competition begins with immediate high-pressure challenges, including rapid phone booking sessions where Johnny Nitan takes an early lead while others navigate independent field sales or face penalties for lateness. Throughout the initial days, contestants grapple with typical objections such as "I already have insurance," technical glitches like GPS failures, and emotional hurdles ranging from helping widows to overcoming door-knocking fears, all while learning critical skills in building rapport and managing time efficiently in unfamiliar territories.
As the contest progresses into its elimination rounds, agents face increasingly difficult scenarios including rapid-fire sales challenges using "Fire Tickets" valued at $20,000 and high-stakes social media sharing tasks that determine additional premiums or immediate disqualification. Johnny Nitan initially dominates with strong production numbers and strategic mentor choices, but struggles later when forced to adapt his style against mentors who do not align with his preferences. Meanwhile, Patrice Shepard overcomes a significant $500 penalty for being late and finds redemption through her transformation under Dallas Keithley's "door knocking" guidance, while Michael Vhill secures wins by leveraging price shock strategies and emerging from near-elimination status to become the Day 5 winner with substantial annual premium sales.
The final stretch of the competition tests the contestants' resilience against massive rejection rates, personal adversity like recent surgery for Amanda Lunsford, and intense pressure to close deals without interruptions until the finale at 8:00 PM on Day 6. Patrice Shepard is eliminated in third place after failing to match the required production levels alongside her peers, leaving Amanda and Michael as the finalists who reflect on their growth; Amanda credits her daughters for her relentless drive despite severe weather conditions and lack of sleep, while Michael emphasizes stepping out of his comfort zone despite having less industry experience than some competitors.
In a triumphant conclusion, Amanda Lunsford is crowned the winner of Season 1, securing over $100,000 in prizes and accumulating more than $34,000 in contest premium through her final push via a referral from an "Omaha mama" client. While Amanda's financial victory stands out, the event highlights how all five contestants impacted countless lives globally during their sales efforts, with former competitors like Johnny Nitan noting that the experience broke his limiting beliefs about sales numbers and inspired him to adopt goal-journaling habits for long-term success in real life months later.

My name is Cody Asins. I've been in the
insurance [music] industry since I was
20 years old. And it's my mission to
help and train every agent in the world.
We took five agents from across the
[music] country and had them compete in
the most intense, emotional, and
entertaining competition the industry
has ever seen.
>> We're going to write six abs before
noon.
>> Winners [music] win, but legends
dominate winners. And I'm I'm going to
be a legend.
>> I'm thinking that my minimum is 5,000
[music] a day.
>> We brought in some of the top mentors
and trainers in the world to help these
agents along the way. We pushed [music]
them to their limits. fine-tuned their
skills and document the entire
experience. [music]
>> Okay. And so what's a good time for you
tomorrow, Larry? I'm going to be
relentless. Bring the bulldog out.
>> Five agents, six days, $121,000
on the [music] line, and the competition
starts right now. Let's meet our
contestants.
[music]
So, my name is Johnny Nitan and I'm 20
years old and uh I'm from Phoenix,
Arizona. Now, I've been in the [music]
insurance industry for five months, but
I've only been doing life insurance for
[music] five weeks right now. This is
definitely I'm I'm learning stuff, but
I'm definitely super hungry and and
[music] ready to to take this on. Well,
I got married uh 7 months ago now, and
so my wife is my number one motivation.
She's a huge driving force, to be
honest. And the the reason I go so hard
in the insurance industry and I think
[music] that this is the best industry
to be in is because I get to live the
life that my wife and I want to live.
And so I am the ultimate agent because I
have the the most drive out of anyone in
this competition. I'm going to be the
ultimate agent. So I'm excited for you
guys to see how that actually plays out.
But I know that I'm coming home with the
W and those prizes for sure.
My name is Amanda Lunsford and I'm
originally born and raised in central
Indiana. I moved to Clemson, South
Carolina about two and a half years ago.
I got licensed in [music] life insurance
October of 2020. Been with my husband
since 1995. We have two beautiful
daughters, Lauren, [music] who is 21
this year and Lindsay who just turned
19.
We unfortunately lost our son Drew a few
years ago and he is my why [music] in
this business. It was the hardest thing
I ever went through, especially to my
mindset. Life is all about mindset.
[music] It's it's how you choose to come
out of it. And having protection in
place when that tragedy does strike
[music] gives you time to breathe while
you're grieving someone that is so close
to you. I truly believe I have what it
takes to be the ultimate agent because
[music] it's all about focusing on the
activity is where the results come. I'm
not here to play. [music] I'm here to
learn from the mentors and to compete.
My name is Patrice Shepard. [music] I'm
originally from Chicago, Illinois. I
moved to Frisco, Texas [music] in
September 2012. I wanted to start over
and so I went into the insurance
industry. [music] At that time I was
mostly selling PNC, property and
casualty and just a little bit of life
insurance.
Um, I was [music] 43 years old. I'm 48
now. I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast
cancer. [music] I did have about 6
months of savings, but I'm sure as
everybody knows that [music] when you
have a savings and you don't have
anything coming in, that savings dries
up pretty quickly. Thankfully, on my
life insurance policy, I was able to
receive a lump sum payment. And when I
had that check in my hand, [music]
I was destined. I knew that once I went
back to selling [music] insurance,
I was definitely going to be selling
life insurance and advocating for living
benefits.
And that's that's basically [music] what
I want to share. I want to share my
story, my experience with it. And now I
absolutely have [music] what it takes to
be the ultimate agent.
>> [music]
>> Well, my name is Moon Thomas and I
currently live in Atlanta, Georgia.
[music] I actually just reentered into
the insurance industry about 6 months
ago in October of 2021.
[music] So, I'm married and my husband
Antonio, he's also an entrepreneur, so
he supports my big dreams. And then, of
course, my biggest fan is my little
[music] daughter Ava. She's six. Uh,
she's my miracle baby. I actually took
the hugest risk ever in my life and I
quit my job. [laughter]
I knew that I couldn't get the time off
work on Monday. So, I didn't need
anything holding me back from putting
everything that I had into this
competition. And I just felt like I
couldn't fully be here if I still was
going [music] back and forth in my mind
about should I or should I not keep the
job that I have. This is a once-
ina-lifetime opportunity. And I just
felt [music] like if I don't take the
leap right now, then it's like now or
never. It's like all or nothing.
>> So, my name is Michael Vhill. I live in
Rio Rancho, New Mexico with my [music]
wife Julia, my two boys, Caleb and
Zachary. I fell into the life insurance
or into the insurance industry in
general in May of 2013. Became an agency
owner in [music] October of 2018.
And here we are today, you know, just
being a part of this this experience
with Cody Haskins. Anything that I've
done since I've [music] been married has
been all about my family. It's been
about my wife, Julia, my boys, and
that's everything for me. I want to not
miss a whole lot in their life. Coming
home with the title of ultimate agent
and bringing all that experience back,
they're going to get to see that, hey,
dad went out there and gave it best and
brought home the title.
>> [music]
>> Welcome to the Ultimate Agent Contest
where things about to kick off. How's
everybody feeling?
>> All right, let's go, bro.
>> Everybody ready to rock and roll?
>> Let's go. I'm ready. I'm ready.
>> Who would like to know where we're
going?
>> Who's been waiting? Who's been ready? We
are headed. We're jumping on the jet for
an hour and two minutes. We're leaving
from Springfield, Missouri. And we're
landing and we're going and we're
selling insurance in Omaha, Nebraska.
I am ready.
A little nervous just [music] because
it's an unknown city. I've never been
here.
>> I'm ready. Like, I'm so ready.
>> I'm super excited for today.
[music]
The [music] experience today was out of
this world.
>> I'm extremely grateful. [music] Super
excited to be here, man. It's been a
great first day for real.
[music]
>> [music]
>> We're here. Welcome to Omaha. The
ultimate agent has officially begun.
Thousands registered. They're not
sitting here like you are. And now we're
going to see if you can be the ultimate
agent. We're going to give you a ton of
leads. We're going to give you some help
from some of the top mentors in the
industry. We're going to encourage you
to book as many appointments, make as
many calls, as many door knocks, as many
deals, and close as much premium as you
possibly can.
[applause]
There will be some eliminations, so not
all of you will make it the entire
[music] way.
Patrice, you're here. You're in Omaha.
Are you going to do whatever it takes?
I'm going to do whatever it takes. I'm
excited and I'm I'm ready to go out
there and do it.
>> Yes. That's so good. Amanda, uh what are
you going to do different than the rest
of these contestants so that you are
crowned the ultimate agent?
>> Uh not leave a stone unturned. Talk to
everyone in town.
>> Boom. I love it. I love it. Okay. How
about you, Michael? What are you going
to do that's different, right? What's
going to set you apart?
>> I guess everyone's going to have to tune
in and watch, honestly.
>> Yes. I love it. Here's one other thing I
want to add. Whoever wins will win
$121,000
in total cash and prizes.
>> So, let's see who's about to be the
ultimate agent.
>> Talk to him.
>> Okay. H how we feeling?
>> Excited.
>> Nerds.
>> Right. We getting ready for the phone.
>> Excited.
>> We can all be the ultimate agent. We can
all cram and do as much as we can in 5
days, right? But we don't. So, I want to
see when agents are put into an urgent,
time-sensitive pressure cooker with all
the help in the world, the top mentors
in the world and leads and everything
else, how do they do?
First up, he's one of the fastest
millionaires in the history of
insurance. He went from zero to seven
figures in commissions within 36 months
of being licensed. He's training agents
all over the world. [music] From Cape
Coral, Florida, please welcome our first
mentor for the ultimate agent, Mr. David
Price. [cheering]
[applause]
[music]
>> My name is David Price. I'm the founder
of the Price Group. I've been in the
industry maybe four years from now. When
it comes to selling life insurance,
especially final expense insurance, I
bring a lot to the table. I have a lot
of experience. I've hired and trained
hundreds, if not thousands of agents. I
think it's going to be an awesome
learning experience for them. I know
they're going to learn a lot, but
overall, they're going to get a ton out
of it. [music] They're going to be
different people when they leave as long
as they they embrace the process and let
it happen. Man, you guys fired up.
>> GP,
>> what's up, brother?
>> I'm happy to be here. I'm super pumped
and excited.
>> Why did you agree to do this? You're
really busy. He makes a ton of money.
Why did you agree to do this? You know,
someone told me a long time ago, you
can't keep what you have if you don't
give it away.
>> You know, and I I want to keep what I
have. So, that's what I'm here. I'm here
to help these agents write a ton of
premium, hopefully have something that
will stick with them for the rest of
their life. And I'm pumped. I'm excited,
man. I love giving back. I love helping
people. And I love working with you,
Cody.
>> Give it up for Mr. David Price,
[applause]
>> our next mentor.
her very first year in the life
insurance business, she sold $360,000
of life insurance premium. People around
the industry call her the Terminator all
the way from Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Please welcome to the Ultimate Agent,
Lesie Scoffield.
>> My name is Leslie Scoffield. I have
actually been licensed since June of
2015. I find it very easy because I've
had so much success and structure. Once
that structure was nailed down for me,
it allowed [music] me to really like run
and make this business operate and a
six-figure income ever since my first
year in the business.
>> What are you most [music] excited about?
>> Um, I'm excited because I think that
every single one of these people here
are going to take more home than they've
ever got in their careers so far. Even
though some of them are seasoned, I'm
really excited to see what they do. I
think every single one of them is
ultimately going to be the ultimate
agent at the end.
>> I love it. Give it up for Lesie
Scoffield.
Last but not least, he started out on
the industry in 1990. He sold 465
life insurance policies his very first
year. He's a machine. He outworks
everybody I know. He's taught me
everything I know. All the way from
Springfield, Missouri. Please welcome my
father, Mr. Brian Atkins. [cheering]
>> My name is Brian Asins and I've been in
the insurance business since April of
1990. So now a little over [music] 32
years. I absolutely love the insurance
industry. So many things about it. I
love helping people. [music] I love
helping agents. Uh I love building
teams. You know, whoever wins this
contest, [music] I hope that they still
see this as a big step in their career.
And I hope that's what people watching
this show see. when you really really
[music] you focus and you put your mind
to it, what can be accomplished?
>> So excited you're here. What are you
excited about from a takeaway
perspective for the ultimate agents?
>> I love helping the agents and I've I've
loved helping ever ever since I've been
in the insurance business for 32 years.
I love seeing people grow. I love see
people succeed and uh so just anything I
can give to them, I'm going to give to
them and and not hold anything back
whatsoever. So
>> I love it. contestants, Brian Asins.
[applause]
>> All right, now that you've got your
leads, what we're about to embark on is
our first agent challenge.
>> Okay, which is going to be a ton of fun.
Okay,
>> here's how this challenge is going to
work so you can earn an extra advantage.
This is going to be big. For the next 30
minutes, you're going to call your leads
and book appointments. And the top three
that book the most appointments in the
next 30 minutes get to hand select out
of the three mentors to go help them
[music] in the field for all of tomorrow
morning to start the first day.
>> I'm going to be honest with you. I don't
see any of the competitors as
competition. [music] Like I'm
gravitating towards Leslie, you know,
girl thing.
>> Oh, Brian. Brian all day. 32 years in
the industry. Either Brian or Dave, like
David is solid, like for sure.
>> So, the first person will get to pick,
second, next pick, third, next pick. The
two that finish at the lowest will not
have a [music] mentor's help tomorrow
morning. So, this is big.
>> Yeah.
>> This could get you on a huge trajectory
to kick off the contest as we're talking
about total life insurance premium. Here
we go. Ready, set,
go.
The contestants are spread out. They're
about to start dialing. 30 [music]
minute agent challenge starts right now.
>> Okay. So, it's state regulated. [music]
They just filled out the form. You're
just in receipt of it. And all you want
to do is make sure that they know you're
the one in responding to something they
did. So, Miss Jones, you filled out this
card. I'm just responding to you.
[music] Any reason why I can't catch you
tomorrow at 2 or 3? Yes or no questions
are no good. So, make sure it's
open-ended. Any reason why I can't catch
you? Oh, you have to come by the [music]
house. Yeah. I'm just going to show you
my badge. Make sure you know I'm a real
person. Blah blah blah blah. Something
like that.
>> Okay. Got it. Hi. Hi. This is Johnny.
Just getting [music] back to you. I got
your request responding to that. Any
reason I can't catch you at 3?
>> Yeah. [music] So, state regulated life
insurance.
>> Okay. Hey. Yeah. So, hey Betty. Hey,
[music] this is Johnny. I'm just getting
back to you in the I'm just responding
to the request that you made for the new
STE [music] state regulated
>> final expense insurance.
>> Any reason I can't catch you at 30?
>> Right. It's okay to say that.
because it [music] gets the what is this
about out of the way. Some agents are
scared to say the word insurance because
they think it's going to make them say
no,
>> but they just sent in the form.
>> Yep. Okay, sweet.
>> Cool.
>> Thanks.
>> Okay.
Now,
I don't This is my first time doing door
knocking.
>> Okay, not a problem.
>> Can you give me a script
>> for knocking
>> for for [music] making appointment?
>> Appointments. Yeah, abs. Absolutely. So,
you know, so these are
>> So, what David was doing is, [music] you
know, I got a little stuck because, you
know, we were getting the leads, the
mail-in leads, and I was getting [music]
stuck because they would say, you know,
oh, I'm not interested or, "Oh, I don't
want it." And so, David had to come in
there and say, "Hey, Patrice, [music]
listen, you are in control. This is not
their call. This is your call." So, that
was awesome. Once he did that, he came
in, [music] gave me a few strategies.
He, you know, he let me breathe for a
while and do it on my own and then he
came back to check on me. Hey, I was
rolling by the time he came back. Okay.
And so, what's a good time for you
tomorrow, Larry? A 9.
>> What's a good time for you?
>> Well, I have only have a couple of
appointments available because I'm
[music] really booked tomorrow. I have a
9 and I have an 11.
>> Okay. So, which one? Do 11.
>> 11 sounds awesome. Now, what apartment
number was that again?
>> I love the challenge. The challenge was
very informational for me.
>> I can barely hear you.
>> Oh, really? Okay. I'm sorry. My My name
is Moon. I'm calling you back about the
form that you filled out about the final
expense uh life insurance. You just sent
it back to us. We needed it by the 20th.
>> Oh, no. I can forget about that. Huh?
>> What happened? You filled it out.
>> No, that's all right. Who is this? This
is Moon. I'm calling because I'm
following up with you on a form that you
filled out.
>> Moon?
>> Yes. Moon Thomas?
>> I'm sorry. I don't know you.
>> No, you don't know me because I'm the
representative for your area. You just
filled out one of these forms for the
final expense.
>> Representative for what?
>> For the final expense. [music]
Um, the state regulated program that you
just
>> Oh, okay. I think we talked earlier and
you're not getting the picture. I don't
want to talk to you. I've not talked to
you. I just called your number for the
first time. I apologize, Miss Dellor.
I'm not trying to get you upset.
>> I'm not trying to get you upset. I
really
Well, well, well. I I love dialing
[music] leads. They're not always fun,
but I love dialing them because gets you
appointments. [music]
>> Hi, is this Diana?
>> Yes.
>> Hi, Diana. My name is Amanda and I have
a form here that you had just sent in
about the state regulated life
insurance.
>> Okay.
>> And uh just wanted to confirm your
address is 20 45th Avenue
>> North 45th Avenue.
>> North 45th Avenue. Is there any uh
reason I uh can't stop by tomorrow
around 11:30 to [music]
>> We are remodeling and my house is a mess
and [music] I am uh I have
several family members that uh anyway
[music]
I have to uh care for. So this No, this
is not a good time. If you could just
send me something by mail, I'd
appreciate it.
>> Hello.
>> Um um just um is there any one moment
please? Leslie and I have a lot of
things in common
>> [music]
>> um just personality and similarities.
So, um I like her
bulldog uh in her. That's what I if
anything I am lacking is is that
>> I'm involved in a lot of issues right
now. So, just something by mail, please.
>> Certainly. I weigh about 148 lbs.
Unfortunately, I don't fit in the
mailbox and they've got the state has me
licensed, so I have to either come by or
do it with you over the phone. And
Diana, I really don't mind doing it with
you over the phone. It is Tuesday a
better day. It'll only take about 10
minutes.
>> I mean, I I've probably made 100,000
phone calls in my in my career, you
know. So, this is nothing really. The
the dialing anything like this. This is
just this is natural, you know. This is
what I do. This is how we make a living.
>> Hello.
>> Hello, Stephen.
>> Yeah.
>> Hey, Stephen. This is Michael [music]
Vill. I'm just getting back to you uh
and Tesa regarding that form you sent in
about final expense insurance. [music]
And I know the information was important
for you all. So, I was just trying to
see if there's a good time that I can
swing by tomorrow.
>> Yeah, I don't think I sent any form in.
>> I look at every lead as a potential
client and a family that is reaching out
because they have no other options.
They're like, you know, there's many
options these days. You can go online
and secure a quote. You can call your
local agent. But when they're sending in
these forms, there's something on their
mind that's keeping them keeping them up
at night.
>> Okay. Okay. So, you'll be there at 2:30
tomorrow.
>> Okay. Yeah.
>> Okay. Awesome. So, I'll just review this
with you and then uh you'll see me. My
name is Johnny again. Could you get
something to write with just so you can
write down my phone number? I know life
happens.
>> Yeah. Let me tell me the number.
>> Okay. So, it's 505.
>> Okay.
>> 4062.
And then my name is Johnny. J O H N Y.
And then write down 2:30 tomorrow.
and then we'll be good. Okay.
>> Awesome. Awesome. Sandra, thank you so
much. Have a great day.
>> Talk to you. Bye. Bye.
>> Bye.
>> Boom. I mean, tying down everything was
super important. Uh, each one of them
were happy to write down like what time
we were meeting, my name, my phone
number.
>> Hi, this is Dolores.
>> Yes.
>> Hey, Dolores. It's Patrice. How are you
doing?
>> I'm fine and I don't know you.
>> Oh, no. Mr. Dolores, I just got the
information that you sent in, the card
that you sent back regarding getting the
information on the benefits, the life
insurance. I just got it.
>> Well, so what?
>> Okay.
>> I I have an agent and I have my own
What the hell is going on?
>> No, Miss So, Mr. Dolores, we just want
to come by and just talk to you about
it. Um, I don't care if you buy or not.
Just want to come by and and talk to
you.
>> Listen. No, listen. I'll tell you what's
going on. That's what's going on.
>> I'm 78 years old. So, that's the price
I'm going to pay. When you get older,
you pay more and more and more. And
that's why I don't have a policy. And
that's why I will not buy one. Okay,
>> Mr. Mr. Loris.
>> Oh, Jesus.
>> All right.
>> Here's one thing that I know for sure. I
know that I'm a people's person. I know
that I'm warm. I know that I'm
trustworthy. And I know that I have some
information that's going to change their
lives forever.
I had a couple emotional phone calls
there. Um, one of them was it was just a
heartbreaking story, you know, and I I
really want to see how I can help this
lady overcome the things that she's
dealing with.
>> And then, um, you said we're moving. So,
does that mean that uh, you're married?
My husband was killed and I moved in
with my son.
>> I'm sorry to hear that, Brenda. I I I
know the challenges that that presents.
My uh my best friend just lost his mom
and it it's been one of [music] those
those hard situations where, you know,
the
>> they're all moving in together. So, I I
I do apologize. Um, so with the form
that you received, it shows that uh
35,000 is is approved for Nebraska. Um,
if we just kind of split that difference
and go with $25,000, we're looking at
about $75 a month. Is that something
that's going to fit in your budget?
>> I'm sorry, is how much?
>> $75 a month.
>> No, right now that will not fit in my
budget. I'm still trying to pay off debt
[music] that my husband and I owed and
I've just kind of gotten over some of
the um things. Um
like paying for the fire and rescue
and hospital bills and stuff like that.
>> I took him to the hospital a month
before he [music] was killed. So I'm
still trying to take care of all that.
right now it wouldn't. I don't want to
leave my boys in the same situation that
[music] I've been left in.
>> I I completely understand.
[snorts]
>> Let me ask you a question, Brenda, if
you don't mind. Um, did your husband
have life insurance?
>> No, he did [music] not. He he had the
same life insurance policy since he was
18.
and uh he let it go in August of 2019
and he was killed in October of 2021.
>> Oh my goodness. A lot of times people
don't realize that uh [music] they have
additional benefits available to them.
And that's what I'm going to do for this
lady and her family. Um whether whether
I win or not, I'm going to follow up
with her and make sure that she's taken
care of. So it's it's been going great.
Um, these leads that we have from uh
from Landon and his crew, the direct
mail are awesome, you know. So, I've got
no complaints on that.
>> 32 seconds left. The challenge is almost
over. The first appointment setting
challenge. They've been cranking on
phones. They've been dialing. Let's see
how they've done.
>> Call has been forward.
>> Okay. So, I'll put you from the 2:00
slot to the 11:30 slot. [music] Okay.
>> 11:00. Okay. Would 10 be better for you?
>> 10 would be lovely.
>> Awesome. Thank you so much, Barbara.
I'll see you at 10:00 a.m. in the
morning.
>> Okay. Thank you.
>> All right. Bye-bye.
>> I'm going to pencil you in for 10:30 on
Tuesday, Charles.
>> Okay.
>> Okay. Because I do have a 6:00 [music]
on on uh Sunday. I'll be free then.
>> Does 9:00 work for you so that I could
drop this off to you?
>> Some will, some won't. So what?
>> Hi. Hey, it's Moon. I'm not a
telemarketer. Please don't hang up. I'm
actually following [music] I'm
>> My name is Moon Thomas. Excellent. I'll
see you tomorrow, Mr. Byron. You and
Regina, with two cappuccinos [music]
at 9:00 a.m.
>> And uh the reason for my call.
Okay. 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 one. Time's up.
All down.
>> Welcome to day two of the ultimate
agent.
>> I love it. I'm excited.
>> Ready for a big day.
>> I'm ready. We're about to write 10 15
grand today. A little nervous just
because it's an unknown city. I've never
been here. I'm ready. I I I am ready.
>> Ready for a huge day. How was yesterday?
>> Great.
>> Cool. Johnny, what was your favorite
part, man?
>> Oh, man. Just being able to book
appointments with Brian right there
[music] next to me. Like being able to
get coached up with that like on the
spot was amazing.
>> I love it. I love it. How about you,
Amanda?
>> Same thing. I loved uh co [music] tips
from Lesie and Brian and David.
>> Yeah. Patrice, what stood out? Like if
you think about the whole day yesterday,
like we did a lot. What's the biggest
[music] takeaway? The biggest thing that
stood out for you yesterday?
>> Yesterday, the biggest thing that stood
out for me was that this is an
opportunity for us to like open up our
minds to expand our mindsets. Everything
that happened was mind-blowing. And in
order to experience it all, got to open
up some. Forget about what you've
learned. Soak in all of this new
knowledge. And that's exactly what I'm
doing. The competition is me.
>> I love it. Talk to me, Michael. What do
you think, bro? For me yesterday was uh
listening to these three their stories,
you know, David, Leslie, and Brian uh
just goes to show what's possible when
when we really focus on what our goals
are.
>> That many years of wisdom available to
you. You can't just go out and buy that.
>> Moon,
>> how was yesterday for you?
>> It was amazing. I really I just wanted
to like take everything in and I really
appreciate everything. Leslie and uh
Daddy Atkins was, you know, there
rooting.
>> I love that you say Daddy Atkins, by the
way. Right.
>> I mean, that's that's his name now.
Okay. Um but just the fact that like
even when I was running into like little
challenges, like just the little
workarounds that um Leslie knew about,
just the little tricks of the trade, it
just made a big difference. So, I really
appreciate that. [music]
>> Um David, out of everything yesterday,
what was the coolest piece of being able
to work with these five contestants?
[music]
So my my favorite part was um Patrice.
So she's never set appointments before,
right? Wow.
>> So, you know, being somebody [music]
that sells on the phone, right? Because
if you if you sell on the phone, there's
no reason to set an appointment, right?
Because you already have them on the
phone, you might as well sell them at
that point. The first thing I wanted to
do was see what experience she had. I
didn't want to start her completely over
doing things completely different,
right? You know, she said she was a
teles sales agent. So, it's like, good.
You know how to talk to people on the
phone. You already know how to deal with
objections. [music] The cool thing is
she never sold on the phone. You give
her a task like, "Hey, we're going to
set some appointments." Just Okay, let's
go.
>> Yeah. No fear.
>> No fear,
>> right? I love it. A lot of people have
fear, by the way, Patrice. That's
awesome. She will go for it, man. But
that's what agents got to do. Like I was
talking about it online. I I was putting
a Facebook post out this morning just
talking about the experience and it's
crazy. Like it's tough. It's challenging
mentally, emotionally, physically, but
that's insurance every single day,
>> right? So, we want to make it as real as
possible. Yeah. Leslie, what was some
big takeaways for you as you're working
through this?
>> Oh man. Oh man, there's so many. I love
it when um a seasoned agent hasn't
dialed in a while and gets back in their
groove. That's like amazing for me to
witness. And also when somebody that
like to piggy back off what you said,
watching somebody book their first
appointment and that spark that they get
when they get the confidence
>> and then they're like, "Oh, wait, it's
not that bad." Because the phone weighs
1,000 pounds. Everybody [music] knows
that. And so I just tell him like, "Do
the reps, work the bicep muscle, pick it
up, put it down." The more times that
you do this, the easier it becomes. And
I could I watched that happen yesterday.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Who stood out to you
yesterday?
>> That's such a tricky question.
>> Can't say.
>> I think everybody has their own
[laughter] Everybody has their own
thing, but I want to give it to Moon
because [music] I think she's so green,
right? She's so new and she was just
absorbing all of the critiquing and the
constructive criticism. And that's what
it takes to be successful in this
business. Close your mouth, open your
ears,
>> and like what you hear, absorb it all.
You need to be a sponge. And it's
overwhelming. It gets really
overwhelming, especially when you have a
lot to say, right? And so I just I
commend you. [music] And I think you
kept up really well yesterday.
>> Thank you so much. And Leslie is a drill
sergeant.
>> So I was like literally in boot camp. I
was in boot camp yesterday. But
>> I need a whistle.
>> She was like, "Come on, soldier."
>> And then
and I'm just like this. And she was
like, "Was that too much?" I was like,
"I'm good." You know,
>> all right. Daddy Atkins.
>> Okay. [laughter]
>> Daddy Ass. What What What do you think
about yesterday?
>> I thought it was absolutely great.
Johnny started this business when he was
20 years of age and I started this
business when I was 20. And so it's kind
of uh crazy. I look back and I'm Johnny
32 years ago I I listened to Michael on
a phone call and and the dude is just he
was smooth. I mean it was an objection
he had overcome and he came overcame it
and next thing we know the lady's giving
address and telling what color house is
and I mean what what corner streets are
at and she's she's making sure he gets
there, you know, after just a few more
minutes. So anyway, they just absolutely
phenomenal and uh uh these are just five
great individuals that I I enjoy hanging
around. So
>> well, let's give all of you a hand real
quick, okay, before we jump into today.
So today and tomorrow are field sales
only, which is why we were booking
appointments last night [music] and we
had our first agent challenge in the
books where for 30 minutes you were
dialing and booking as many appointments
as you can and the results
are in. So here's the results. First
place was Johnny with five appointments.
Woo. [applause]
>> I'm feeling great about that cuz I know
that it it's the mental game and I know
that if I could get real estate early in
their heads, it's it's just it's it's
going to be great.
>> Second place, and this was really close,
by the way. Second place, Moon Thomas
with four. Okay,
>> I'm ready. Like, I'm so ready.
Appointments, door knocking, referrals,
all that. And Amanda also booked four,
but she was on a call a little bit after
7:30, but she technically called it
before 7:30 and still booked it. So, it
still got her to the four. So, third
place is Amanda with four. Okay,
I love it. Now, because you were the top
three, you will get to pick an order.
Which mentor joins you out in the field
for this morning for the first several
hours? So, the first pick is Mr. Johnny.
>> I'm going with Brian. Uh I the reason
that I I'm going with him is cuz great
conversation. He was up there helping me
and I'm excited to learn from his 32
years. This game is about referrals. So
I'm really trying to pick up how he's
able to get that to an amazing
experience where he doesn't even ask for
referrals, but he's getting he's writing
600,000 on his own pen.
>> I love it, man. I love it. Okay,
congratulations, Johnny. Okay, Moon.
>> Okay, I would have picked Daddy Asin,
but he's taken. Okay.
>> So, I want to I really want to work with
David because I didn't really get to
really talk to you that much yesterday.
So, I want to get a chance to get to
know you and just like learn your out,
you know, like in the field style.
>> Leslie, no. No shade,
>> but you already coached me. You coached
me up, so I'm glad about that. So, I'm
going to just pick Dave in.
>> Well, initially I thought I would pick
Leslie. That's just because she was
helping me yesterday. But, I thought
about it. I was like, since she already
has helped me, I've learned from her
already. So, I wanted to kind of like
kind of flip that real quick and see
what I can learn from David.
>> Third place. Next pick. Amanda L.
>> Even if I was first place, Leslie would
have been my first choice.
>> I love it.
>> I'm excited.
>> She is an absolute bulldog. She really
is. Absolutely.
>> Um, well, I'm super excited about the
choice and that she was uh passed up
because that's the one I wanted the
most. And also what I love too is all
three of these mentors are really
focused and determined and driven to
help all of you while you're here.
Right? So even though Patrice and
Michael will be without a mentor for the
morning, doesn't mean they can't go out,
make a ton of sales, and show everybody
else up, too. Right? For the next
several hours, you will be out in the
field with each of these mentors,
running appointments, door knocking,
setting appointments,
closing in person, doing whatever you
can field saleswise to make sales. And
remember, don't forget about referrals,
right? You get one person, right? I've
seen I've seen it with with Daddy
Haskins, by the way, right? You get one
person, you make one sale, that thing
can turn into 50 clients, right? You
never ever know. So don't ignore that.
Push today. Get off to a fast start as
we jump out for day two of the ultimate
agent.
[music] You
>> ready? Let's go.
>> I'm super excited. I have a a a partner.
Um so I'm excited about that. [music]
We're going to write six abs before
noon.
>> That's good. That's good. That's good.
>> I feel so much better that I have David
with me. [laughter]
>> So, I got a chance to go out with Moon
today and I was pretty pumped. She
picked me. She wanted me to be her
mentor. She's She's definitely a winner.
So once you find a winner, somebody that
[music] has heart, somebody that has
grit, the rest is just learning the
skills and and that's going to happen
over time. All right. Have you done off
the lead yet?
>> Um not in a long time, but not um
>> All right. Do you [music] know what
you're going to say?
>> My name is Moon. Um you filled out this
form um for the state. What is it
called? State regulated. Don't do that.
>> So okay, [laughter]
>> you're like looking at like No,
>> no, no. Let me hear what you're going to
say. First, I
>> feel pretty good about it. Uh got my
first appointment at 9:30. Um [music]
and then my next one's not till the
afternoon. So, I got a little bit of
dialing and stopping in to do visit some
folks that uh said, "Hey, just swing on
by." So, um pretty confident. I mean,
when I set my appointments, they're all
pre-qualified. So, I do a lot of the
late work ahead of time. So, I've got
their options ready to go.
[music]
>> I'm feeling really excited. It's day two
about to go in the field. I made some
good appointments yesterday. I'm just
excited about it. I have my map uh all
routed out. Learn some new [music]
things about routing maps and things
like that. So, hey, I'm ready to go door
knocking.
[music]
So far, I got 13 appointments in the
books uh for today and tomorrow. So, uh
Brian and I super excited. We got a
great planned. We're going to start door
knockocking these direct mail leads on
our way and [music] to and from the
appointments. Going to get referrals in
there. I'm super excited, man. It's
[music] a great start. Uh, and it it's
really good to get off to a really great
start. [music] So, that's what we're
doing.
[music]
These door knocks. I was just thinking
of like,
"Hey, Miss Betty. Hey, this is this is
Johnny. This is Brian. Just wanted to uh
we're the we we're assigned to your
case. Saw that you filled out this form.
We're just responding to that. just
wanted to drop like give this
information to you. Is now a good time
or
>> Yeah, just the one thing you want to do
is show them the lead, show them the
card cuz it see it shows their
handwriting and everything. So that
[music] all of a sudden that brings it
back to they remember doing it. I love
showing the lead card to the person at
the door because they see this through
handwriting. They see this. It's their,
you know, they [music] filled it out. It
it'll bring back the remembrance of of
what they filled out.
about to head into my first appointment
with Barbara. Barbara is 63
and she has uh four four grandchildren
at home. So, I brought uh brought some
donuts for the kids this morning. So,
Barbara and I can sit and have a a good
conversation. I will say this, you know,
for the first day walking into the first
appointment, it's a little
nerve-wracking [music] only because
there's a contest on the line. Not
worried about the appointment at all. Uh
not nervous about that. That I can
handle. It's just uh not knowing who can
get the first sale. So talk to you guys
soon.
>> Are we here recording? No.
>> Oh man. Okay.
>> So when I was with Moon today, the first
one I think she was kind of nervous on
she wasn't spending a lot of time trying
to make a friend. She went right into
the application and and I could see she
was nervous and the client still wasn't
really comfortable with her. So I told
her, "Take some time, make a friend,
even if it takes 20 minutes."
>> Do you think that
for the presentation, I didn't read it
like verbatim, but I covered I thought I
covered the highlights. Did you think
that
>> that was okay?
>> Yeah, that was fine.
>> Okay.
>> So, like I said, the the one thing I
would uh critique is definitely take
your time and make sure you make a
friend in the beginning.
>> Right. Slow down with that. [music]
you know, get her comfortable, get
yourself comfortable, and then just
remember, you know, focus on three
things. Focus on one, making a friend,
two, leaving them in a better place than
when you came. [music] Okay?
>> Which means that sometimes that's just
them knowing more and being more
prepared knowledgewise for [music] their
final expenses,
>> and then the other thing is, you know,
presenting the information so they
understand the products [music] and
services that you're offering.
>> Okay?
>> And if you do those things, everything
else will work out. Everyone's going to
have some problems or some issues they
have to overcome [music] in the
beginning. So, I think she did really,
really good.
>> Anybody that's been in the car with me
knows that if you've never done a door a
door knock, if you've never done an
appointment in [music] the field, it's
it's a little scary to walk up to a
stranger's house.
>> So, what are you most nervous about?
[music]
Well, since I have a partner, I'm not as
nervous about I I'm I get more nervous
about where [music] the unknown of the
surroundings.
>> Oh, really?
>> More than I do people.
>> That's so crazy. Like, like you mean
like the [music] area that you're
working?
>> I've always grew up where it's really
small
>> or in the middle of BF, you know,
>> you don't worry about crying [music]
much.
>> So, I was out with Lesie uh this
morning. Um Omaha is definitely
different. I'm not used to it. I
struggle sometimes [music] going into
the field on days that I'm emotional. I
don't feel like doing it. Something
crazy happened at my house. The kids are
sick. I don't want to go. [music] You
know, we we all go through these days
where we're just not feeling it. So, the
very first thing we did was like blast
some crazy music on the radio and like
pump each other up. And it was just once
you do that and you've got your energy
level to where it needs to be, once you
get to the door, it's [music] kind of
hard for that energy to to drop cuz
you're like ready to go.
Are you about to do a U-turn in the
middle of the road? Mhm.
>> You are a pro at that.
>> What are you good at? Doing U-turns
illegally.
>> Don't you do it. Stop.
>> That looks like an apartment. See how
it's got the two doors? Duplex.
>> First sale is in. Okay. May not update
you on all of them, but we're going to
update you on this one. Michael just
submitted the very first sale of the
ultimate agent, which is super [music]
exciting. ran my first appointment today
for this contest
set with um with Barbara. Barbara had a
heart attack um in October. So the only
I could offer her was a guaranteed issue
whole life. Uh so we wrote that one for
5,000. [music]
She just wants a very simple cremation.
Showing up to that appointment, I had a
good feeling about it. We built great
rapport on the phone. I took her donuts.
her grandkids were going to be there and
[music] it just went well. You know, the
whole appointment went well.
>> What's up, buddy?
>> Oh, not much. Just left the [music]
first appointment.
>> Nice. How'd it go?
>> It went well. It went well. Um ended up
with a with a very small guaranteed
issue whole life, but uh she was very
happy with it. So, um, she's also going
to talk with the kids about them, uh,
helping her so she can get some more
coverage [music] here in the next few
weeks.
>> Boom, bro. We'll take it. It's a great
start.
>> Yes, sir. So,
>> awesome job. You're You're a machine.
>> One down, several to go, right?
>> Yes, sir. Yes, sir. One of at least 25.
So,
>> I knew right away that I was going to,
you know, that had to have been the
first sale of day because it was the
first one scheduled out of everyone
else.
>> [music]
>> How do you get this little
thing off? And I need to see what time I
need to be back so I don't miss the
afternoon [music]
session. I learned a lesson about time
management today. [music]
Just being able to be in the field and
manage your time efficiently. I need to
be back today. [music]
My specs.
I need to be back today at
1. Okay,
I can get a few more appointments in
that one. You know, if you know that you
only have an hour left and you need to
be somewhere, then that might not be the
time to go run an appointment. That may
be a time to find a [music] quiet spot,
maybe make some phone calls. So just
learning that and figuring out the time
management piece of it.
>> Welcome back from the first morning out
in the field making sales, setting
appointments, door knockocking. How did
we do?
>> We did amazing. We learned a lot. We we
honed some skills which is important,
right? You know, the biggest thing is
like everyone wants to win the contest.
That's great. But [music] like what's
really important is that they learn
something while they're here.
>> David taught me a lot. And I know that
he felt like he was being hard on me,
but I just felt like, look, whatever you
have to say, I'll take it.
>> How about you, Lesie?
>> Oh my goodness. So, Amanda is a natural
and we had the best time. We door
knocked so many people. We overcame a
lot of technical objections. Like, we
just had stuff happen to us. Yeah.
>> And it's impossible to work the business
without knowing how to overcome the
life, right? So, um, when when GPS stops
working or like you get lost on a side
road somewhere or you go up the wrong
way up a run a oneway,
>> that's kind of fun. [laughter]
>> It's exploring the new area.
>> She drove.
>> Yeah.
>> I told you.
>> Listen, we she will do whatever it takes
to um get to a house, believe me, and
get in the house. [laughter]
>> So, I was excited to work with her.
>> Uh, working in Omaha is definitely
different because there's a lot of
one-way streets. kind of went down the
wrong way, which I knew would happen.
Um, but u had a great time and learned a
lot from Lesie this morning.
>> Great job, you two. That's great. Okay.
I love it.
>> All right, Daddy Haskins. You and you
and [laughter] you you and little
Johnny, right?
>> Yeah. How'd that go?
>> Well, it was great. Johnny Johnny is a
natural. He's he did a great great job.
We had a lot of fun. We talked a lot
about just just business even after he
leaves here. all the things he can
implement, how he can really improve his
business. Uh we had some challenges, but
we had some successes and and uh it was
just a I thought a great day, a great
morning. I enjoyed hanging out with him.
So,
>> that's cool. Michael, how was your
morning, buddy?
>> My morning was awesome. It really was.
It was just a simple reminder that I
still can go out there and do what I do.
I've been out of the field um in a
full-time sense cuz we've been working
on building the agency. And it was just
it was great to be back kneecap to
kneecap with the people in my element,
you know,
>> and it was awesome. It really was.
>> Yeah. I love it. Well, y'all will notice
there's one contestant missing. Patrice
Sheepard is not here and [music]
did not get back on time, which means
she will [music] be penalized. She
doesn't know this yet. We're about to
inform her as soon as she arrives. She
will be penalized
$500 of annual premium [music] for not
respecting the schedule, getting back on
time, and it's not fair to y'all that
she's still out selling and you're here,
right? So, she is not here. Okay? And
she will find out soon enough. Uh, also
something that is exciting and fun that
we're going to move into. We're going to
move into our second agent challenge
here in a few minutes. It's going to be
a live door knocking
uh challenge with objections thrown in
and you will be judged [music]
by the three mentors. Okay. Whoever wins
first in this doornocking challenge will
get to take my father Brian Haskins out
for several more hours today.
Second place will get to take David
Price with them all of tomorrow morning.
Right. And so only two prizes for the
doornocking challenge, the second agent
challenge, and then Lesie is crazy busy.
She has to get home this afternoon, so
she'll be leaving after the agent
challenge. However, I wanted to give her
a proper [music] thank you and send off
because she is unbelievable, super
engaging, crazy talented, and is an
absolute terminator. And I can tell you
this show would not be what it is
without her. So,
>> thank you.
>> Yeah. Thank you.
[applause]
And now, who's ready for the agent
challenge?
>> Okay, let's go. Let's go.
>> We're about to kick off our second agent
challenge. We have Mr. Harold. Thank you
very [music] much, sir, for joining us
today.
>> Likewise.
>> Okay, this is going to be a blast. I
love this. Harold's going to be the
hardest. He's going to give him so many
objections. Right. So, here's what's
going to happen. Each one of the
contestants, they're in the other house,
are going to walk over. They're going to
knock on this door. They're going to
meet Harold and he's going to give them
a series of objections [music] that
they've got to overcome. We're going to
keep track of first and second place.
And our lovely judges for the challenge
are our mentors.
>> Super excited.
>> Nobody tells me nothing.
Yes. Hey, Harry. How are you? My name is
Michael Vhill. I'm a senior benefit.
What's this all about?
>> Well, I was taken back at first just
with the costume, right?
>> This is about this form that you or your
wife sent in to us. It was uh it wasn't
too long ago. We've been trying to re
reach you on the phone, but I just
haven't had any chance to get to you.
So, I thought I'd just drop by. I was at
one of your neighbors houses helping
them take care of some coverage. If it
wasn't a cross word puzzle, I didn't
fill it out.
>> I quickly assessed uh the person, you
know, and I I addressed all of his
concerns. I overcame every one of his
objections. Cross word puzzle. So maybe
Maim did. Is Is Maim home?
>> I'm sorry. You're sorry.
>> She's not home or
>> I wasn't trying to be pushy. I wasn't
trying to force my way in. Overall, I
felt pretty good with it. Horrible.
>> Don't let the cat out.
>> I was really trying not to like bust out
laughing because it caught me off guard
and I thought I'd get disqualified for
laughing. So, I was trying to keep a
straight pace. My name is Moon. Here's
my card. We talked earlier and I'm here
to follow up on the form that you filled
out about the final expense um regulated
state program that's available for
Nebraska residents.
>> But I was still like looking at his
hair. That was good. couldn't even I
couldn't get past the hair. Literally, I
couldn't.
>> I'm sorry. We already have insurance.
I'm not interested.
>> I understand that, sir. Most people do
have insurance and I applaud you for
that. The reason why And here, let me
give you that so you know who I'm
talking about. And this is my picture
and my license so that you know that I'm
not a telemarketer. Okay. I'm actually
following up on something that you
filled out. Um, it was just a few days
ago, so you don't remember filling it
out?
>> No, I didn't fill anything out.
>> All right. Is this your handwriting,
sir? That's your name?
>> I don't recall.
>> Would you like me to uh just explain to
you, if nothing else, just what you're
entitled to and then you can make an
informed decision what's best for your
family?
>> I do feel entitled.
>> Come on.
>> I mean, it went by so fast. It was like
a blur, but all I remember is the hair.
[laughter]
Whoever did that costume was wrong.
>> So, I'm just blown out of my mind. She
didn't ask to come in.
>> But I did I really did like the knock.
The old school.
>> Well, I taught her the knock. She
remembered that part. So, so of course I
I can't believe you guys aren't teaching
the knot.
>> I love I love
>> But she didn't ask to come in
>> me all the time.
>> No, you're doing amazing. [laughter]
>> Do you hear this? Where are you, Daddy?
>> I'm witnessing. I'm witness. [laughter]
See, he's he's wisdom and he knows to
just listen. Stay back. And he's the one
closing deals out. He's the only one
closing deals out there today.
>> Hi. Is are you John?
>> I'm Harold.
>> I Oh, hi Harold. My name is Amanda and
I've been trying to call you the last
couple days and I thought I'd stop by
since I haven't been able to get a hold
of you.
>> I'm sorry. Who are you?
>> You were asking about the state
regulated life insurance and um I was
just thought I'd come by instead of
since I couldn't get a hold of you.
>> What's this about?
>> The uh state Nebraska state regulated
life insurance.
>> I already have insurance.
>> Well, were you did you want more
coverage? Is that why you filled this
out and sent it in?
>> I didn't fill anything out. Well, do you
uh Is this not your handwriting?
>> It could be anyone's handwriting.
>> Um well, uh is this not your age and
your address?
>> I'm not interested.
>> Um now, are do you have all your uh
Medicaid or Medicare coverage?
>> I'm all set with anything.
>> You got A and B.
Perfect.
What am I supposed to do?
>> What the heck was that? I have no idea.
We did not talk about Medicare. The
super says it. One step in.
>> She had her foot in the door. Yep.
>> She did get her foot in the door.
>> She had her foot in the door, which was
great.
>> That was the first one that's done that.
>> But she's the only one that didn't get
in the door.
>> We sat We stepped in.
>> She hit the white flag before gray guy
hit the white flag.
>> Yeah.
>> Gray guy.
>> Yes. [laughter] But we never talk about
Medicare outside.
>> You don't keep That's definitely not
That's how final expense agent never
says final expense is as soon as they
hit an objection, they go to Medicare.
>> Okay.
>> True story. M but also like don't not
again not doing anything at the door but
trying to get in the house.
>> That's what I say. There's step one is
get in the door. Don't do anything else
but get in the door at all cost. Get in
the door. [music] That's only one job.
Just get in the door. But you can't get
in the door if you don't ask. Again, not
one person asked to get in the door.
>> Yes.
>> Hi Dylan. How are you?
>> My name is Harold.
>> Oh, your name is Harold. I'm so sorry
about that, Harold. Yeah. So, that was
interesting. Um, um, your next door
neighbor Cody, I was just over to his
house helping him out with some final
expense life insurance, and I asked him
if he knew anybody that I could talk to,
and he told me to come over and talk to
you.
>> I already have insurance.
>> You do? Awesome. So, there's some new
2022 uh, programs available, and I just
want to give you some information about
it. I only take about 10 minutes of your
time.
>> I'm sorry, I don't have 10 minutes now.
You don't have 10 minutes now. When
would be a good time for me to get back
to you?
>> I maybe tomorrow.
>> Maybe tomorrow. What? What time?
Tomorrow.
>> I don't know. Look, I'm sorry. I'm not
interested.
>> What it did for me is it made me step
inside of being a student and then like
presenting to my teachers. But how I was
feeling in the moment, I was kind of
confused. I was like, well, what should
I be saying? Am I saying the right
things? So that was the perfect
challenge at the perfect time to get us
to charge us up to get us to go back out
there and and and help some more
families.
>> Yes. Hello.
>> Hey, Mr. Jones. Hey, my name is Johnny.
>> My name is Harold.
>> I honestly didn't know what to expect.
Like the the challenge was going on a
lot and then I literally just get off
the phone and they're like, "Johnny,
it's your turn." I'm like, "Dude, what
are we even doing?" So like literally
walking out, I was like, "Wait, what's
the goal?" And they're like I was like,
"Is it to get in?" And they're like,
"Yeah." So I was like, "Okay." "Hey,
Harold. This is Johnny. I'm the field
underwriter. I'm just responding to this
lead that you sent in." And I literally
called it a lead. I like pulled up the
paper. I was like, "You filled out this
lead?" Oh, I mean like postcard. This
form that you sent in uh regarding the
final expense, the new final
>> What's this about?
>> This is the about the new state
regulated final expense for just
Nebraska residents. is you filled out
the form, sent it back to us. I'm just
the field underwriter in your area.
>> I didn't fill out any I didn't fill out
any forms.
>> Was it uh Miss Jones that filled it out?
Maybe cuz
certainly not.
>> I don't I don't really know what to do,
but uh I just like let's you just assume
you just got to assume the the clothes.
And so I was like, "All right, let's
let's go in. Can I come in?" And just
kind of walked in. So well uh it it
should take about 5 minutes to review
this information. Is it we come in?
Let's see.
>> Champion, Mr. Eskins again.
>> Yep.
>> That's it. [laughter]
>> We're fired,
>> dude. This is the ultimate trainer right
here.
>> The ultimate trainer.
>> Yeah, he created Cody.
>> Oh, seriously? Yeah.
>> Just say, could we spend some time
together?
>> Now, that was a fun challenge.
[laughter] Do you guys think it was fun?
>> Oh, yeah.
>> Okay. All right. So, we're about to
release who won. Who got first? who got
second out of the five. What did y'all
think of the overall competition? David,
let's start with you.
>> You know, I really want to see what
Leslie has to say about the competition.
[laughter]
>> Um, you know, we need some work in this
area big time. Doornocking is probably
one of the most difficult things for
agents to wrap their heads around. It
takes a skill set that needs to be
developed. So, this challenge was super
hard. It was just really an
uncomfortable [music] challenge. That's
what I think. What's some uh Dad, what's
some advice you would give after seeing
that?
>> I think uh they all did a good job. It's
it it was a very difficult challenge. I
think the one big thing [music] is is
that uh we have to ask to get into the
home and uh that wasn't done enough to
where you actually maybe [music] ask and
take that first step and uh just to kind
of uh make the make the move, make the
the initiative. [music]
>> What do you think, David?
>> I think the most important thing about
door knocking is asking to come in the
home. What was one what was what who was
one person that said something and you
were like, "Oh, I wish they wouldn't
have said that."
>> Well, you know, I'm going to uh pick on
what what wasn't said. You know,
something that kind of hurt me a little
bit. You know, I was out door knocking
with Miss Moon, right? And I think I
told her what the most important thing
to say was at the door was,
>> "Can I come in?
>> May I come in?" Right. And and how many
times did you say that at that that
door?
>> I don't remember. because you didn't say
it.
[laughter]
>> Cuz you didn't say it, you know. And I
was a little hurt cuz I was speaking so
highly. I said, "Moon Moon is going
[music] to crush this competition." We
were just out door knocking. I gave her
my secret sauce. And I looked really
bad.
>> All right,
let's see who won. Let's get down to the
brass tax. Okay. So,
from the judges, who received second
place? And because they win second
place, they get David Price out with
them tomorrow morning.
>> We elected Patrice [music]
for second place. [applause]
>> Love it. Way to go, Patrice. Okay. Good.
Good. Good. Good. Yes. Yes. Yes.
[applause]
>> All right. Who won first? There's four
more, right? Is it Michael? Is it
Johnny? Is it Amanda? [music] Is it
Moon? Who we got?
>> So, I mean, real simple, right? Let's
Let's all be honest here. Who Who asked
to come [music] in the door?
>> And that's the winner right there.
>> Mhm.
[applause]
>> That easy?
>> Boom.
>> Way to go, Johnny.
>> Yeah, I was really surprised I won, to
be honest.
>> Congratulations, Johnny, for first place
in the doornocking challenge. Now, let's
go back out on the field. [music] Let's
make as many sales and help as many
people and make as much money as we
possibly can to finalize day [music] two
because an elimination is coming very
soon.
[music]
>> Okay, Patrice, so you you got back in
the middle of the doornock challenge.
You got back about 1:45.
>> Mhm.
>> Which is about 45 minutes late.
We are going to have to penalize you
$500 of annual premium.
>> Really?
>> Mhm.
>> Okay.
>> Why were you late?
>> Well, no. You know what I'm about to do
first?
>> I left my um reading glasses here this
morning.
>> I'm about to stop by the nearest Dollar
Tree and I need to buy a cheap pair of
reading glasses.
>> So, I stopped by the Dollar Tree, picked
up a pair of brand new Specs and I saw a
young lady. She was buying a lot of
balloons and I said, "What's going on?"
And she said a whole bunch of things
like in a row like somebody died.
Somebody's having a baby. Somebody's
we're going to a funeral, a baby shower.
I was like, "Oh, okay. Well, do you need
some life insurance?" She was like,
"Yes, we do." Wow.
>> And I said, "Where are you going? I'll
follow you." So, I went into uh back to
my uh car and I was sitting there and it
was taking her a long time.
Is this her? And I'm like, "Why is she
taking so long?" No, not yet. But then I
had to check myself and I said, "Think
about Patrice, [music] what she just
told you." I was just about to get
irritated and say, "Oh, I'm waiting on
her and where is she at and why is she
taking [music] so long?" But when I met
her and when I was talking to her, I
heard her say that she needed [music] to
go to the funeral home. She just told
you about funerals, babies, going to
[music] the cemetery. You need to work
on your patience. So maybe something
happened. Maybe the [music] reason why I
asked her, "Do you need life insurance?"
And she was like, "Yeah, I do. My son
needs some some too." Maybe her sense of
urgency [music] was because somebody
just passed. How inconsiderate of me
[music] to
say or be thinking inside,
"What's wrong? When is she coming?"
There she is right there.
Ma'am.
>> Then she came out and had
I [music] don't know how many balloons
and I'm driving an SUV and she said,
"Put you're going to [music] follow me."
I said, "Yes. Can I put these in your
car?" So, she put the balloons in the
back of my truck and I [music] followed
her, you know, to her home and there was
her family waiting for some life
insurance.
See, see about [music] patience.
>> Someone you literally met at Dollar
Tree.
>> Somebody that I met at Dollar Tree
because I was I left my glasses here and
I was just going to get a quick cheap
pair of [music] little reading glasses.
You know what? I'm actually not bummed
about it. I'm going to look at my
appointments [music] and I'm going to
build time in. So maybe an hour before
it's time to be back, I'll use that time
for calling time so that [music] I can
maybe generate some more appointments
instead of squeezing my time and going
on an appointment. All right, let's do
it.
Wait, where are my glasses? See, I keep
needing them things.
Me and these glasses.
I left them. I'll be back.
Oh, should I bring this bring my bag
with me?
>> I would. Yeah.
>> Yeah. I would just I'd go ahead and pull
all the way up in the driveway and uh
and then let's go uh knock the door and
[music] see what happens.
>> Mr. Sledge, how are you?
>> What do you need, buddy?
>> Uh my name is Johnny and I'm just the
field underwriter assigned to your case.
uh filled this out about the getting
qualified for the new final expense
program here in Nebraska and I just was
assigned to your case. You filled this
out, sent [music] it back to us.
>> I'm just responding to that.
>> Oh, yeah. I was just here to drop off
information with Brian here.
>> Uh so yeah, we could uh go over this
information [music] with you and Miss
Ledge.
>> I'll take that, but I'm I don't have
time for this stuff right now.
>> Yeah. No, it'll take like 5 minutes.
Super quick and brief.
>> You don't have time?
>> Yeah. No, I totally understand. Is there
a better [music] time that we could
swing by? Cuz
>> Not really.
>> Yeah.
>> I don't trust that stuff anyway.
>> Okay.
>> What was the reason that you filled this
form out?
>> It doesn't matter. Okay.
>> Uh-huh.
>> It really don't freaking matter.
>> Yeah, totally. No, totally understood. I
understand that. Yeah. Sometimes I don't
even trust it either, but
>> I don't trust anything on the internet
at all.
>> Yeah.
>> Just letting you know.
>> Yeah. No, totally understood. Is this
your handwriting though?
>> Does it really matter, buddy? I was just
curious, sir.
>> Hey, let me see, buddy.
>> No, it's not.
>> Okay, maybe it was Catherine. Thank you.
>> Okay, so with that one,
>> yeah, the only thing I would do on that
one is when you [music] when he, you
know, just Mr. Jones, I'm just trying to
do or or whatever his name was. Uh, I'm
just trying to do my job. You know, you
filled out the card and the company
asked me to come by. [music] That's to
you know and so to discuss it with you
based on the information you filled out.
We did go to the door. Uh the gentleman
[music] was very rude. Uh and he said he
did not fill the card out but you know
we tried to show him the card. He did
fill the card out. It was his card. And
I thought Johnny handled himself [music]
very well. But what I was most impressed
with about Johnny is not only hand
himself well at the door, but when once
we got back in the car, [music] he
handled himself really well there
because he didn't let it get him down.
He came to the door with a chip on his
shoulder to begin with. So
>> yeah,
some will, some won't.
>> What's that?
>> Some will, some won't.
>> Abs. Absolutely. It was situation to
where Johnny said, "Hey, [music] some
will, some won't. So what?" And so
Johnny says, "Let's go to the next one."
And uh because he understands insurance
is a numbers game, especially when
you're [music] working leads. It is a
numbers game. And uh so once the earlier
a person understands that the better
chance they have of success and Johnny
understood it very very [music] early
and Johnny has a really bright future
ahead of him.
>> I always try to do multiple apps always.
>> No doubt. I love it. That's so smart.
Boom. Great job. Good sale.
>> Yes, sir.
>> Thanks, bro. Tear it up. See you.
>> Michael just made a sale and I also got
a text from somebody else. just made
another self. They're starting to
stacking. They're starting to get
rolling. Momentum's flowing. They're
getting in front of their leads. And
it's fun to see.
[music]
I'm just going to do my best to just
keep it moving and make the best of the
time that we have today. That's my goal.
I'm going to use this morning session
with David
as a way to optimize this afternoon.
I'm not going home tomorrow. I mean, I
cannot go home tomorrow. I was just
really feeling grateful for being here.
I want to seize the moment. This thing
is day by day. This thing is day by day.
And nobody should be getting cocky and
feeling like, yeah, you know, I got this
and I'm the man or the woman. All of us
are great. All of us are talented. All
of us are here to win. We're all
fighting for it. We all want it.
>> Two of the contestants are here. Three
are not. It's 8:56. Moon's not here.
Amanda's not here. And Johnny
nowhere to be found. We'll see who gets
penalized tonight.
[music]
All right, end of day two. The numbers
are in. We're about to go over the
results. Who's happy with your results
so far? Honestly, [laughter]
>> okay.
>> No.
>> Okay. Not yet. Right. A little bit.
>> You said happy, not satisfied.
>> That's true. Okay. [laughter]
>> That's good. That's good. Y'all were out
in the field for 12, 13 hours today,
right? Grinding, pushing. Y'all missed
dinner. You were making calls.
>> Johnny was running up and down, right?
Michael was calling all y'all were
calling me several times a day like
y'all were putting in the work. Imagine
the urgency if other insurance agents
that are watching this from around the
globe. If they put in the type of work
you put in every single day, if we mike
them up and we put a camera in their
face, right, and we push them, 92% of
agents would not fail,
>> right? The statistic would be so much
higher and so much better, right? So, I
want you to be proud of your results
because [music] I know you put
everything in and tomorrow is going to
be a new day and then there's going to
be elimination soon, right? So, you're
going to have to make these [music]
better, too. Okay. So, fifth place with
one sale and a total premium of $848,
>> Moon Thomas.
>> Okay. Way to go, Moon.
>> I was really proud of myself because I
was like, I just do not want to go back
without anything on the board. You're on
the board,
>> egg. Yes. Right.
>> I'm on the board.
>> Recap today. Think through what happened
today. Talk to us.
>> I had a really great client that she
gave me a wonderful um testimonial or I
guess you want to review. She said, "Oh,
Moon girl, you are such a treasure.
[laughter]
Um I had such a good time talking about
life and insurance. I [music] wish you
the very best and I will think of you as
long as I live." So,
there we go. There we go.
>> I really made a friend like David was
telling me earlier, like spend a little
time making a friend and I believe I
really made a friend for her.
>> That's awesome.
>> I mean, you think about it. Agents can
do this every day, right? Well, you did.
You made a sale today. You helped
>> that client today. You made a new friend
today, right? You said you learned some
stuff. What was the biggest takeaway for
you today as you think through like if
you had to pick one thing? David told me
once I give him the three options,
>> don't say anything else. And I was like,
>> it felt like 10 minutes, but [laughter]
>> but it was just like she was thinking,
>> awesome job. Way to go, Moon. I love it.
Way to go, Moon.
>> That's awesome.
>> Thank you. Okay, fourth place with two
sales and a total of $1,133.37.
Amanda Lunsburg.
>> Yay.
>> Well, I mean, nobody wants to come last.
So,
>> and two sales I think towards the end of
the day, right?
>> About 5:30ish, 6 most days.
>> I was late to the appointment.
>> Oh, you were late? Yeah, because I was
doing one appointment, you know, and 24
minutes later, the other appointment was
that far away.
>> A lot of agents would have like tucked
their tail between their legs. [snorts]
>> Oh,
>> and went home.
>> Oh, I might have called my my rock, my
husband, and might had a couple tears.
>> There you go. But you pushed through,
right? Which is really
>> Well, because he told me he's like, "Get
your butt to work."
>> There you go. [laughter]
>> That really changed things. It was
[music]
um calling my husband um and actually my
daughter's in the background, you know,
just checking on me, making sure, you
know, just rooting me on.
>> What What was the uh recap today? What
what it started out a little rocky.
>> Yeah,
>> it finished great.
>> Yeah. First two appointments, um one I
couldn't find it.
>> And the second one I even sang him a
song. [laughter]
Well, his name happened to
>> Are you a good singer?
>> Well, no. God, no.
>> Hey Ricky, you're so fine. Like the
Mickey song.
>> So he loved the song, but it's and he
also just lost his wife.
>> So it should have been a, you know, good
[music] slam dunk. But I met Norma. She
lived in a very sketchy apartment
building. A little scary when I first
pulled up. Lots of
>> loud music thumping outside and, you
know, just
>> different. Sure. And but she was amazing
once I got in there. Yeah.
>> Two sales of the day. Awesome job,
Amanda.
>> Thank you.
>> Okay. Great finish to the day.
Seriously. [applause]
>> Okay. Next up, currently in third,
[music] three sales, a total of
$1,17624. [music]
Mr. Michael V. Hill. Nice.
>> [applause]
>> I don't feel comfortable at all. I'm you
know I'm in third place by by dollars.
>> Started off great and then um [music] my
second appointment fell through. So I
just I said you know what? I'm going to
go dial. I didn't take my charger for my
laptop with me. So
>> went back to the room and I just put my
head down and I dialed and I set up my
afternoon pretty uh pretty full. And um
[music] when we left lunch here, my very
first appointment, I was 49 minutes
later than anticipated. And she says, "I
thought you were you forgot about me."
[music] The afternoon I was disappointed
with myself personally. Um there was a
couple of appointments that I knew I
probably shouldn't have shown up to, but
I always do it anyway because you never
know. Everyone deserves the same
opportunity [music] in and out. And then
I uh I went back and I started dialing
and setting for tomorrow. It's
>> good, man. You pushed through. Yeah. All
right. Way to go, Michael. Woohoo.
>> Okay.
Currently in second place with two sales
for a total of $2500
in annual premium.
>> Johnny Nitan.
>> Okay.
>> You look disappointed though.
>> Big time. Okay. What are you
disappointed for?
>> I had a coach all day and didn't
capitalize. And there's just a lot of
learning. Um, I really wanted to utilize
what he was really great at, which was
doornocking,
but that's really not what I'm good at.
I've never done it. And so, [music] it
was it was a switch that I had to make.
And we had to decide that we're not
going to door knock. And I'm [music]
we're going to go all in on just calling
cuz I mean the first door knock we had
the guy literally told me to take a hike
and cuss me out and slam the door on me.
>> Oh no,
>> it happens. It wasn't a huge deal. I
Some will, some won't. So what? You just
move on. But
>> that that I was just like, dang. But you
just keep moving on, keep going. And um
it was a good I feel like there's just
so much ups and downs cuz I was feeling
a little down and then all of a sudden I
won that door knock [music] thing and I
I literally thought I was the worst for
sure and it just that got me in a better
mood and then literally [music] going
from there to four no shows. I wasn't
tying it down the [music] way I should
and I'm like all right let's let's
refocus here. Yeah, just a lot of ups
and downs for sure, but I feel a lot
more confident in my strategy going
forward and uh I think it'll reap a lot
of great rewards. Today was a definitely
an experiment. Am I going to door knock
for the first time and just start doing
that and do this learning curve or am I
just going to do what I know and go back
to calling and setting appointments? And
I decided I'm just going to call dial
until dial until I I get the
appointments that I need and let's go.
>> Cool. I love it. Well, second place is
in first. I know you're not satisfied
with that. However, fantastic start.
Okay, give it up for Johnny. Awesome
job, buddy.
[applause]
>> All right, there's only one contestant
left, right? [cheering]
>> And with a big old smile on her face.
>> Five cells.
>> And she's on the she's on the girl side.
>> A total of $3,623.88.
88. [applause]
>> Love it.
>> However,
>> totally mean
>> minus the penalty
>> of $500
for being extremely late [laughter]
>> and possibly causing Michael to be
extremely late for his appointment.
>> Right.
Actual total now $3,123.88.
[applause]
>> Awesome job.
>> Good job.
>> Awesome job, Patrice. I feel like I did
the right thing. I helped a family and
that's what we're here for, to help
families.
>> I love it. Way to go, Patrice.
>> Awesome day. [applause]
>> Awesome. Awesome. Awesome day. Everybody
go on the board. We had a fantastic day
two as we got out in the field. Awesome
job. Day three starts tomorrow. Another
day, another super important day.
Elimination is coming soon. and do
everything in your power to make sure
that you do everything you possibly can
to do just as good, if not better,
tomorrow. We'll see you tomorrow.
Welcome to day three. So exciting,
right? I love it. [cheering]
Today is what I call I guess they kind
of call this in golf too, right? It's
it's it's moving day. It
>> is moving day, which means you got to
move your way up the leaderboard as much
as you possibly can today. Today is our
last field cells only day. [music] And
there's an elimination coming very, very
soon, which means leave it all on the
field in the field literally today. So
important. Johnny, how you feeling
today, bro?
>> Oh, I'm hyped. Like, I I learned a lot
yesterday. I'm ready to maximize my time
today and uh get the systems and
processes. Got them already in place,
and I'm ready to just execute. It's a
numbers game. I'm going to see the most
people.
>> I love it. I love it. Michael, how much
premium do you think you'll write just
today? [music] Prediction time.
>> 6 7 800,000. [music]
>> 67,000.
>> My My goal is 10,000 today.
>> 10,000 today. Boom. Now we're talking,
man. I love that. Okay, Patrice, can you
do another five sales today?
>> Absolutely. Absolutely. [music]
>> I love it. I love it. Who Who do you
think is going to finish in the lead?
>> Me. [laughter]
>> Okay.
>> Silly question.
>> That's right. I love it. I love it.
Moon.
>> Yes, sir.
>> Are you ready to have an even better
[music] day today?
>> I'm excited. I'm so ready. Yes.
>> Okay. So, you're in last right now.
>> That's okay. The last shall be first.
>> That's right. Where will you finish?
>> At the top.
>> Okay,
>> good. I like it. I love it. I like it.
Amanda, what are you gonna do
differently today that you [music]
didn't do yesterday? Maybe.
>> Just start fresh.
>> Yeah,
>> for sure. With a good mindset.
>> I love it. So important. So, so, so
important. Okay. So, also the
doornocking challenge yesterday that
Patrice won second in. She'll be taking
Mr. David Price out in the field all
morning. She's in first and she gets
time with David Price this morning. Yes.
All right.
>> Right. How cool is that?
>> That's good. That's good.
>> I'm still going to be calling him down.
[laughter]
>> What do you think about that, man?
>> I mean, I'm here to help anyone, but uh
I mean, Patricia being in the lead,
[music] you know, and then today, I
think she's going to further that lead
and it's going to be pretty hard to
catch up cuz we're going to go out
there. We're going to help a lot of
people. I mean, everyone in Nebraska is
going to have insurance after we're done
today, you know, that's everyone in
Nebraska is going to have insurance. So
the whole the the the funeral business
is going to be a good business to be in
because people are going to have money
to pay for their funerals after today.
So it's it's going to be great. It's
going to be epic.
>> What's the target? What's the goal like?
What do what do you see y'all doing
today?
>> We we're going to get 10K before the
before lunch.
>> 10K before lunch. Patrice, did that
surprise you? Is he thinking bigger?
>> Nope. He's thinking we're we're in
alignment. [laughter]
>> Okay. Also,
>> this is the last time we will be hanging
out with my dad, Brian Asins. We are
sending him off today. So, I want to
thank you for everything you've done.
[music] It's been awesome having you
here.
>> It's been uh it's been surreal, too, uh
for me, just like the journey we've been
on and and the journey we're on now.
It's it's [music] really cool.
>> Absolutely. I was telling Cody
yesterday, I started out in the uh back
from 1990 to 97, you know, door
knockocking and so forth. And I haven't
done that since 97. And so, yesterday
[music] I yesterday when when Johnny and
I were out working leads, that's the
first time I've ever worked a lead in my
life. [music] and had never done that
before, ever.
>> And so, not only was Johnny out of his
comfort zone, I was out of mine, but I
don't think either one of us could tell
each other was out of our comfort zones.
We were just, [music] you know, we were
being as relentless as possible and and
had a great day yesterday. So,
absolutely. And I I just enjoyed that
day.
>> I love it. Well, thank you for all
you've done. Thank you for being here.
Okay, [music] let's give him a round of
applause as we send him off.
>> Thank you. [applause]
Okay.
>> Uh I'm just so excited for the uh
opportunity to be [music] a be a small
part of of this contest. You know, I
hope that, you know, whoever wins this
contest, you know, obviously that's
going to be a big step in their career,
but the other four that don't, [music] I
hope that they still see this as a big
step in their career, and they see that
just the how how great of a career this
truly truly can be. Thank you. [music]
Thank you. Thank you. Day three, it's
important. It's time to move up the
leaderboard. Do everything you can. I
can tell you this. Think about this
moment. Okay? Okay, I'm not saying you
want to be in this moment, but picture
this moment.
A day later and you're walking out the
front with your bags and you're the
first one. I know you don't want to
picture that. Let's just not let it
happen, right? Let's have a big day.
Let's have a lot of success. Rooting for
you. Let's go. Day three.
[applause]
>> I want to stay in this so bad. And the
reason why is because like I'm learning
so much. All right,
[music]
>> I'm going to go crush it today and I'm
so excited to be able to help so many
people get out of my comfort zone. Just
like literally dial more than I ever
have before and uh make sure that I'm
able to see enough people. So, I'm super
excited for today.
>> So, today is [music]
the second day of the challenge and
elimination day. I'm actually excited
about today, especially the morning
part. Yesterday [music] I was second
place in the door knocking challenge and
so David is going out with me. How
exciting is that? So what's the most
important thing [music] that you want me
to get out of today?
>> Out of today?
>> Mhm. As far as learning, you know?
>> What's the most important thing that you
want to get out of today? Well, well,
basically, um, I just want to learn
everything that I can from you and
[music] about door knocking, just
everything. You know, this time that
we're spending, I want to make it worth
it.
>> Okay.
>> Yeah,
>> we're going to do that. So, we just need
to knock on all the doors.
So, I'm going to see some things you're
doing and try to find some some holes in
your boat.
>> Okay.
>> And we're going to plug them up. [music]
and he's going to be a more rounded
agent after today.
>> So, I'm ready to go in the field and to
learn as much as I can this [music]
morning from David. Like, he is the
master at final expense life insurance.
And how awesome is it to just have him
as your mentor? Not only have him as
your mentor, but have him sitting right
next to you in the car. Looking forward
to today because I've got I think about
eight appointments set for the day and
then I'm going to do a bunch of door
knocking. I'm gonna be relentless and go
for no for sure. Bring the bulldog out.
>> Uh, so my goal is 10. Um, realistically
probably closer to 6, 7, 8. Today is is
survival mode for me. I'm going to I'm
going to go to the very last minute
possible today. That way I can um I can
really yeah get myself, you know, set up
for for a good day tomorrow just to be
able to um
have that right mindset [music] once I
walk into the house tonight. There's
nothing worse than walking into um a
situation [music]
not knowing what the result is going to
be, but um when you have a positive
[music] mindset, amazing things happen.
We're in the middle of the ultimate
agent contest. We're on day number
three. The agents are actually still out
in the field. However, we have a live
challenge that we're going to do at
1:00. What I'm going to do is I'm going
to call through brand new leads that
have came in over the last several days
that are locally in Omaha, Nebraska
area. I'm going to book multiple
appointments [music] and then at 1:00
they're going to compete in a challenge
where they get to earn the leads that I
book for appointments. All right. So,
I'm going to jump in right now and book
as many as we can. Hey, the reason I'm
calling you is I'm reaching back out to
you [music] about the request that you
had just sent in about the state
regulated final expense programs.
[music]
I see you live
>> no.
Gracias. We have [music] ah
Dylan or Keith. If one of you can teach
me Spanish really quick, this will make
this whole session that much better.
>> Special services. How may I drink your
call?
>> Larry speaking.
>> Yeah. Looking for Larry?
>> Yes. Who am I talking to?
>> This is Cody.
>> And which service did you say this was?
>> That's just my little
answer when I don't know who it is.
>> Oh, I like it. That's good. That was
smooth, Larry.
>> If you're scammer, you get you hang up.
>> Yeah, exactly. I love it. That's good.
>> Well, I'm I'm actually calling you back.
Uh you had sent in a request. Thank you,
Larry.
>> Thanks for calling me. Appreciate you.
Be safe. See you this evening.
>> You too. See you soon.
>> Uhhuh. Bye. All right. Byebye. Boom.
[music] There's a Larry out there for
everybody, man. We got one. Okay. Let's
see if we can get one more.
Welcome back. Midday, we got a sick
agent challenge for y'all that's going
to be totally epic and it's going to
have to do with branding and social
media. So to set that up and talk about
the importance of branding and social
media, the king of marketing from scar
marketing, Landon McCarter.
>> Well, we spend a million dollars a month
on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and
Google. So we know a little bit about
social and also paid organic. So, one of
the things I want to tell you guys is
just one quick tip. I'm not here to give
a whole course, [music] but try and make
sure you're adding value and educating
at all times on your social and be you
and be who you are authentically.
[music]
People want to do business with people.
Educate and are likable and relatable.
So, this next set, this next um
challenge that he's going to set up,
this is involving organic [music] social
media. And go for it, man. Our next
agent challenge, here's how it's going
to work.
We're going to send you an image and
specific text that you copy, right? That
you will put into a Facebook post.
[music] You will make the Facebook post.
You will then have 30 minutes and
whoever gets the most shares on that
Facebook post in a 30 minute time frame
will get two things. Number one, you
will get an extra $500 of premium to
count for today. Number two, you will
also get an extra appointment for
tonight that I got on the phones a
little bit while you were gone. Booked
an appointment with Mr. Larry.
>> Larry
>> for [music] tonight after 5:00 p.m. So,
whoever wins this challenge only get 500
bucks for today. also going to get
someone [music]
with actual interest that has several
minute phone call and is expecting
someone to come by with actual
information tonight
>> with you, right?
>> That's excellent.
>> That's a good question, bro. That's
good. I like that. I like that. That's
good. That's good. Who's ready for the
challenge?
>> Okay. All right. So, the team's going to
get this to you. You got 30 minutes. The
most shares. This elimination is coming
up quick. This is so so so important.
This agent challenge could make or break
or be the total difference in your
ultimate agent career. Ready, set, go.
[music]
Go to my most recent post on Facebook
and share that as many times with
everybody that you possibly can. I need
you to do me a big favor. Go to my page
right now. There's a post. Share,
[music] not like, not comment. I just
want you to share it.
>> Please help me win this challenge and I
[music] guarantee that you'll be able to
get free training from this guy. Hey,
whatever it takes, right? [music] Come
on. I'll give everybody a couple hints.
How about that? Facebook groups. You got
team chats, team Slacks, group memes,
[music] Facebook Messenger groups. You
can be tagging people in the actual
comments of the post. Oh, you got to get
more than that.
>> I know. What do I do?
>> What do you think you do? [music] How do
you get large numbers of people to see
it?
>> Oh, I can tag. Well, I've posted uh
pretty [music] much every insurance
group.
>> What else could you do on the actual
post to get people to go to the post?
[music]
>> On the post?
>> Yeah. What could you do?
>> I don't know.
>> Yeah, I shared it to the wrong
>> Dude, you got to post it to your
Facebook, bro. You're 7 minutes in and
you're killing yourself. [music] Who you
talking to? How do you get groups of
people to see this?
>> I'm going to send it to my uh groups.
>> Okay. [music]
>> Johnny's not even following
instructions. I'm I'm trying to give him
money and give him appointments [music]
and he he he he where did you post it?
>> All you have to do is share the post to
your page. If you can tag somebody, but
just share [music] my post.
>> Every single group that I'm a part of,
I'm sharing it. Yep. You could hire me
[music] for five grand. I give you 100
bucks right now.
>> This all just needs to be shared. It
doesn't matter. Okay. Thanks.
>> Oh lord. I just thought about something.
No internet connection. Are you serious?
>> Should we have to talk to y'all how to
use [music] Facebook first or
>> Dude, I can't find this post. Only two
minutes left.
>> Please guys, come on. This is your
opportunity to [music] help me win. This
is the most important challenge of the
day and the one that I should [music] be
winning because y'all been on social
media supporting me the whole time. Now,
I ain't about to get upset about it, but
I'm telling you right now, if I lose
this challenge, like, don't [music] even
holler at me no more.
>> I just shared it to the Rising Stars
mastermind group, Cody Atkins.
But you got to do what you got to do.
>> I've [music] posted on six 60 groups.
>> All right. Hey, 10 9 8 7 [music]
6 5 4 3 2 1
Time's up.
Phone's down.
>> Who we got?
>> I crushed it.
>> Who we got? I didn't realize that my um
profile was not public.
>> Competition's over. Numbers are in. Was
that a fun agent challenge by the way?
Right.
>> Even though Moon didn't have it sh sh sh
sh sh sh sh sh sh sh sh sh sh sh sh sh
sh sh sh sh sh sh sh sh sh sh sh
sharable for the first half of the comp
competition by the way. Right.
>> I didn't I You know how long ago I made
>> Johnny posted it to the wrong Facebook.
>> But you know how long ago I had set up
my Facebook page and never looked at the
settings again?
>> Yeah. Yeah. It's crazy. Imagine, imagine
if it all was sharable this whole
[music] time. You would have like 8
million followers,
>> but it's public right now, so it's going
to be
>> There we go. Good. This is for again,
this is for $500 in extra premium today
and appointment with Larry for later on
tonight. Okay. Uh, fifth place, Moon.
Only 13 shares. And you've honestly did
the best job on possibly the best job on
social before this, right? However,
settings, you know, specifics, but you
were working it. You were ready. Second
place,
Johnny with 27 shares. And this is only
30 minutes, by the way, right? This is
hard. You got to get creative. It's like
urgency. You're like thinking, but also
too, the faster you the more you got to
think, sometimes the less we actually
can think cuz we're just putting so much
pressure on ourselves, right?
>> Uh third place, Patrice with 28. Yo,
we're almost identical.
>> Mhm.
>> Okay. Fourth place, Amanda with 45.
>> Okay. She's also really good. And first
place for the agent challenge, Michael
with 88 scares. Boom. Boom.
>> I was just thinking, I have this in the
bag. I mean, this is what I do for a
living. I teach my team how to do this.
I train on social media all the time.
That's how I fell into insurance was
being a social media manager.
>> 88 shares in only 30 minutes. Michael,
congratulations. You just won $500 of
extra premium today.
>> Come on.
>> Nice. and an appointment with Mr. Larry
for later today. Okay, give it up for
Michael. Awesome job, brother. Okay,
awesome [applause] job. Now, let's
finish day three strong
>> cuz somebody's going to get eliminated.
>> Give it all you got. We'll see you in a
little bit. [music]
>> I'm ready to crush it today. Still got
the whole afternoon.
>> I am ready to go out here [music] today
in this field and crush it. What I did
yesterday opened me up. It gave me the
confidence to [music] know that I can do
field sales and I have everything that
it takes to win.
I'm just trying to, you know, like not
get kicked out. I really feel like my
target [music] is to beat Amanda and at
least beat Michael. So Amanda and
Michael were really [music] like kind of
neck and neck and those two are like,
you know, right next to each other and
I'm really like less than one policy
away from both of them. That really
sucks cuz that was the one challenge
that I should have been able to actually
win. Um I'm over it now. That was my
little pity party. Let's get to [music]
work.
>> Got a little bit of an advantage this
afternoon. So I also turned my
automation system on and while we were
in here for our meeting, I had three
appointments auto booked themselves. So,
pretty excited.
>> It's just going to be it's just going to
come down to a matter of one or two
extra applications in order to to
advance to the next level and then
surviving each day. So, this social
media challenge was perfect for me. Um
couldn't be more excited to to to win a
challenge finally. It felt like like I
wasn't going to win one, but um here we
go.
>> I'm going to keep my mindset good and
[music] positive. That's that's pretty
much it. Just make sure I keep a good
mindset because that's everything.
>> Big day. I got some appointments, door
knocking, [music] and Walmart shopping.
Find some people there.
>> I'm just ready. I feel like I've just
been like very [music] dialed in. Uh I
have a very like strict process in place
of uh if I'm not having an appointment,
I got my [music] leads and I'm just
dialing. Yep. About to go write a a
guaranteed issue policy. This guy has
cancer right now. So, just going to get
him a going to get him some coverage for
pretty cheap and uh guaranteed issue.
So, we're going to make that happen and
[music] then got a lot more. So, uh
super excited just to see what uh
[music] what comes up comes of this cuz
it's about to be sick. About to take a
lot of apps. So, keep watching. 10,000
APV. I'm going to ride it and I can't
wait to just have them shocked about how
much I'm dominating.
>> [music]
>> All right. I was at the gas station, met
a couple that was just sitting in their
car and I was going to go in and when I
came back out, I was just putting in the
address where I was going and they were
still sitting there. So, I just started
talking to them about final expense. Did
like the whole app and he could [music]
not get his bank account information
um to verify. He's called Navy Federal
and they said he had some kind of a
fraudulent block or I don't know not
[music] a block but um he actually
called Navy Federal like on the phone
while we were right there and he um did
everything like put all his family
members in, gave me his social, did the
whole entire app like all he would do
need to do now is just sign and um pay.
So literally um he said he's going to
call me back. I'm ready for it. So, I'm
excited that I just got out there and
just talked to somebody and just asked
them and then, you know, see how it
goes.
>> Hello, my love.
>> Hey there, babe.
>> How are you?
>> I'm doing all right. Doing all right.
>> How's it going?
>> Um, it's not where I thought it would be
yet, but it's all right. I won the
challenge, so I'm off to my first
appointment. want a second appointment
because [music] of it. And uh also $500
added to my total for today. So I'm
going to I'm going to survive today.
That much I know.
>> It's been hard. Not necessarily
emotional cuz my kids, my wife are
completely supporting me. My son did
have a game today. This is the first
game they lost this season. And it's
hard not being there for that loss
because they're used to winning. But I
think it's a good learning moment for
them, letting them know that they're not
the the best team out there, just like
what we're doing here, right? You know,
we have to go out there, leave it all on
the table, cuz one of us is going home
on Monday. I'm here. Let's see how this
goes. It's going to go well. I know it's
going to go well. And I'll see you guys
when I get back.
I just sold two policies for 2500.
>> And I have a I have one later, babe.
That's if it goes through, it's going to
be 7,500.
>> That's insane.
>> Yeah. So, I have six more appointments.
I'm headed to one and uh it'll be good.
But yeah, so
yeah.
>> Nice. I need to do it, babe.
>> Thanks, babe. I appreciate it so much.
You eat or go home. Like, that's just
kind kind of how this goes. and and I
love it because one of my tendencies is
to be able to have a great start to the
week and then get happy and satisfied
and start doing other things that I feel
like are important, but this is going to
really push me beyond my limits, which
I'm really excited for.
>> Door knocking is tough. You know, you're
out there driving for hours, [music]
talking to people, jumping in and out of
the car, and and I'm giving it my all.
You know, we all are.
>> From my experience this morning with
David, which was awesome. He was able to
see me
unorganized and frazzled [music] and
kind of just explain some things to me
and give me some good tips
so that I [music] can go forward and be
successful. So that was awesome. Very
competitive the last hour or so. So
excited about it. So I am headed to do
some door knocking
and I'm going to pull over and do some
dialing.
Lots of activity [music] today. Activity
is going to win it.
[music]
Welcome back. End of day three. Big day.
Results [music] are in. We're going to
go over the last couple days. Patrice,
how you feeling?
>> Exhausted.
Exhausted. I'm tired, but but it's not
going to stop me. I'm going to push
through. I'm I'm I'm going to push
through.
>> Yeah. Cuz it's [music] crazy. You've
never sold the field ever. And then
you're just going at it these last two
days, right? Which is cool. Yeah.
>> That's what it's all about, right?
Getting out of your comfort zone, doing
stuff you've never done
>> and just pushing like not giving up. 92%
of [music] insurance agents fail
>> cuz they give up, you know? But Michael,
what would you say to [music] those that
are like, "Dude,
they give up, but they shouldn't.
It's like [clears throat] the the meme
that everyone sees of [music] the guy
with the the pickaxe underground, you
know, and he's digging his tunnel,
digging his tunnel, hangs up [music] the
pickaxe on his shoulder, turns around,
and he's inches from gold or diamonds,
you know.
>> Yeah.
>> And it's literally that. It's that way
in [music] this industry. You just have
to push,
>> get a few more nos.
>> Yes.
>> After those nos, there's always a yes.
>> Yes. I love it. Yes. Okay. Mr. David
Price has been with us every second of
the last 3 days. He's been unbelievable.
I want to thank him for being here as we
send him off tonight.
>> Okay. [applause]
>> Thank you.
>> He is headed back home. Uh buddy, thank
you for everything you've done. You've
been amazing. Like he's been in the
zone. He's been super helpful. He's been
engaging. And so I really want to tell
you thank you and appreciate you doing
that, man.
>> Yeah. Thank you.
>> Thank you. I appreciate it. [applause]
>> The ultimate mentor. Yeah,
>> let's go.
>> Um, thank you all, right, for letting me
pour into you and and [music] being so
coachable. I think that's super
important. I think because of that, you
guys are going to do some amazing things
in this industry, regardless of of the
outcome of the ultimate agent. Um, you
guys already won. You guys are already
here. So, so [music] that's really,
really big and really special. Great job
to the agents that made it here. Great
job with with them getting
uncomfortable. Just really enjoy this.
You guys only got so many days left,
right? Make sure no one out knocks on
doors. No one does more presentations
than you. No more dials the phone more
than you. Focus on the things you can
control and the rest will work out.
You'll be able to do whatever you want
in this industry. I promise [music] you.
>> I love it. Okay, let's give it up for
David as he's head home. Okay. Thank
you, brother.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank
you for everything.
>> All right, the results are in. Okay,
it's time to get down to the numbers
we've been waiting for all day.
First place for the first three days,
Johnny. Oo,
>> way to go, Johnny.
>> I'm really happy and excited, but it's
it's all at zero. Tomorrow's a new day.
I got to fight for another chance. It's
win or go home.
>> Thank you.
>> Love it. Day one, $2560.
[music]
Day two, $6,408
for a total of $8,54068.
>> Way to go, Johnny.
>> I was going for 10K, hit six. Um, so I
was really proud of that, but I just
feel like there's more I could do. Also,
for winning first and first place,
you've earned two fire tickets to 8%.
>> Nice.
>> So that you can sit front row.
>> You can hang out and and and have lunch
with the speakers backstage. You get
private Q&A with Ed Milelet and Tim
Tibo.
>> Okay. And for those that have not been
8%, that is the conference that we host
every year in Dallas at the end of July
at Hilton, beautiful massive [music]
Hilton Anatol in Dallas, Texas. It was
it was honestly so out of nowhere
surprise. I was happy to be first, but
that was just an extra on top of it. It
was awesome.
>> So, super excited for that.
Congratulations for winning first place.
Awesome job. [applause]
>> Thank you.
>> Second place for the first three days of
the Ultimate Agent Contest,
Amanda Lungsford.
>> Wow.
>> Awesome job, Amanda. I was super nervous
um at [music] 7:30 this evening. I mean,
Patrice, you know, was picking them up
in parking lots and Moon talked about at
lunch today, you know, one in the
parking lot. So, I you just never know.
>> Third place
for the first three days of Ultimate AJ
Contest
goes to [music] Patrice Shepard. Gary,
>> being outside of my comfort zone is
exactly where I want to be. I'm
learning. I'm [music] growing every day
and I'm ready for it.
>> Okay, down to our final two. Okay,
Michael and Moon. Moon, along the way,
you have got outside your comfort zone.
You
>> you've tried new stuff, [laughter]
right? And you've had a phenomenal
attitude every step of the way.
>> Thank you.
>> You really, really have. I want to
commend you on that. However, you did
mess up on the social media challenge by
forgetting to make sure that your post
was sharable.
>> I know.
>> And you've learned a ton along [music]
the way, right? You really have.
>> I did.
>> Okay.
>> Uh Michael, dude's a smooth operator on
the phone, right? Really good on the
phone. Leads by example.
I have sensed a little bit of a lack of
>> [music]
>> urgency, so to speak. Could be
personality
cuz it's a lot. He's just he's holding
it all in, right, naturally. But I think
we saw that a little bit in the getting
last in the first appointment challenge
on Friday night [music] when we first
got here because some appointments he
booked were for later. Right. So, all
right. Moon,
why does this mean so much to you?
>> It means so much to me because it's my
second chance.
I know your how much your family [music]
means to you. How much have you thought
about them while you've been here?
>> It was just it was tough, but I mean I
really just been trying to just stay
focused.
>> Michael,
if you were sent home, how would that
feel?
>> It'd be pretty gut-wrenching.
>> Why? one for uh
for my team who's really just been
pushing me and I mean they've been
cheering me on like crazy. It was my
[music]
chance at going back out there and
showing that I know what I'm doing.
>> Mhm.
>> Cuz I have not been as active in the
field, been focused on building my team.
>> What do you feel [music] like you could
have done better?
Well, there was a point uh when we were
dialing and Leslie came up to me and
she's got 15 minutes left in this
challenge. Do you want to win it? And I
should have just shut up and listened to
what she had [music] to say. I feel that
I may have missed a nugget when setting
the appointments with more urgency
because I was not able to get nearly as
many appointments as I should have.
Well, Michael,
you
are moving on.
Unfortunately, Moon, you're going home.
You've been eliminated.
[snorts]
So, I'm not crying because I'm going
home.
I just realized that even coming here,
it gave me the courage to step out on
the faith that I need to go forward.
>> It's like bittersweet, you know? I'm not
like I was telling Cody, I'm not upset
because I know I did everything that I
was supposed to do from the beginning.
We've uh me and the girls have all, you
know, definitely been girl power. So I
was really sad for her because I I knew
how badly she wanted this.
>> Not only are you taking [music] away the
experience, [snorts] relationships,
>> right? some new ideas, strategies,
friendships, a new family, but you're
also taking away two [music]
fire tickets nation
[applause]
so that you can sit [snorts] in the
front row with Johnny and hang out
backstage at the lunch and hang out with
the speakers and go to all the parties
and get shuttled to all the parties and
everything else. You're also going to
get one year of [music] our CA sales
system, which is an online virtual
training platform for insurance agents.
[music] It's got 420 modules and
quizzes. And you're also getting a year
of our rising star membership.
>> Wow.
>> Which is a weekly [music] coaching
callick
>> for an entire year, a total value of
$13,397.
>> Wow.
>> Awesome.
>> This whole experience is amazing. and
then still being able to go to um you
know the conference and [music] get fire
tickets literally that I would not been
able to really afford right now. So I
just feel like [music] there's no way
that I could really lose. Just just a
sweet sweet spirit, beautiful
personality,
um loving, so bubbly, energetic.
>> She probably has the most vivaceious
personality. It was hard. It was hard to
see her go home. and I'm really proud of
you because we're some of the newest in
this business and being able to see you
and your courage. I learned a lot just
being able to be personable and make a
friend. And I do want to add that
having this show, this experience for us
[music] would not be
anything without Moon Thomas being a
part of this thing. Your heart
is unbelievable.
You care about people. [music] You've
been cheering everybody on. You would do
anything for anyone.
>> Um, most of this this [music] entire
price, it was just priceless. There's
really not a price that you could have
paid to do this. I'm just glad that I
got to even [music] sit on this couch.
>> I love spending time with you [snorts]
and I want to give you a hug cuz I
appreciate you being here and everything
that you've done. So, thank you.
>> Thank you. [applause]
I think that for today, even if I didn't
walk away with [music] the results that
were needed, I do feel like I still made
an impact because I reached out to even
more [music] people than what was just
on my route or just on um you know on my
lead. I think that this experience has
really given me the courage to just
believe in myself enough that [music] I
am enough and I just just based on who I
am. So that alone I feel like I'm
[music] going to take away and I'm just
going to still continue to be who I am
and it should just naturally impact
other people and make a big [music]
difference in somebody's life.
All right. I know it's sad we're losing
Moon. We all love her. Okay. But
tomorrow is a big day, right? Day four.
The slate is wiped clean. Everything is
gone from these last couple days.
Michael's like, "Yes." Now, dude, now
you're all on the same level playing
field, right? You're even. Okay. So,
it's all about, okay, how can I maximize
my time tomorrow so that tomorrow night?
The outcome is different. Who's ready
for tomorrow? Who's excited for
tomorrow?
>> Who's going to dominate tomorrow?
>> Amanda, what do you think? You going to
duplicate the day you had today,
tomorrow, or better?
>> Better.
>> Patrice,
>> hey, I'm ready to rock and roll. I I I
love teles sales. That's what I do.
>> Good, Johnny.
>> I'm ready to I'm I'm up against myself,
to be honest. [music]
>> I'm ready. I I came here to really
dominate and I'm really trying to win
everything. So,
>> I I'm I'm going for 10K tomorrow.
>> Let's make it happen.
>> What do you think about that, bro?
>> That's great. I mean, the only there's
only one place to go and it's up from
here. That's right.
>> I mean, I was at the lowest point right
now. So,
>> that's right. We're going up. Okay.
Also, too, a little twist.
>> We originally said tomorrow was virtual
only and that Tuesday and Wednesday, the
last two days were optional. We had a
executive meeting and made a decision
that tomorrow is also optional.
>> Wow.
>> So, you do whatever you want. Maximize
the time. Get in front as many people as
you can. Whether it's locally here in
Omaha, face to face, right? Door
knocking, booking appointments, or
whether you are selling virtually all
over Nebraska. Day four, first thing in
the morning. Let's rock and roll.
[music]
Welcome to day four. Who's ready to have
a big day? Me.
>> Okay, so today for [music] day four is
optional sales, right? Virtual Orfield.
It's Nebraska only and everyone [music]
starts over at zero today and someone
will be eliminated tonight. [music]
However,
Michael was 8 minutes late this morning,
[music] which means he will not be
starting off at zero. He will be
starting at a negative $100
for today. If he doesn't make a sale at
all today, all three of you move on and
[music] he doesn't. Michael, how do you
feel about that?
>> It's no excuse. But, you know, when
you're in the zone, you're in the zone,
and
I looked down, I was like, "Oh, Cody's
calling me. Probably in trouble." Well,
the first thing I got to do is overcome
a a negative $100 um penalty this
morning. Uh completely my fault.
>> You know, when I looked at my clock and
said, "Yeah, he's late." I knew he was
going to be penalized. [music] You know,
that's the name of the game.
>> Some will be eliminated today. We're
getting so I mean, literally, we're 2
days away from the final day. So, we got
some help today to help you in a massive
way. We're bringing in three brand new
mentors today to help you. The first
mentor is one of the top speakers at 8%
Nation, creator of the Life Insurance
Academy
all the way from Louisville, Kentucky.
Please welcome to the Ultimate Agent
Contest, [music] Roger Short.
>> My name is Roger Short. I'm from
Louisville, Kentucky. I got in this
business because I realized you can earn
an unbelievable living. It's one of the
most lucrative industries right now in
the United States. We get to bless the
lives of our families by helping
families protect theirs. I mean, it's a
win-win situation. It couldn't be a
better industry. I think everybody
should consider this as a career.
[applause]
Good to be here.
>> What's up, buddy?
>> How's it going, guys?
>> Huh? You having a good week?
>> Oh, yeah.
>> Exciting. Exciting. I'm excited to be
here, man,
>> dude. Excited to [music] have you here.
What What's got you so excited about
being a part of this experience? Well,
first of all, I want to commend all of
you for putting yourselves out there.
What you're doing is putting yourselves
out there in this show in front of the
world uh to try to test your metal to
see what you're worth. It would be
grueling even for me to walk in here and
to try to find a rhythm. So, man, my hat
is off to all the contestants [music]
who are here because just them showing
up uh made them realize what they're
capable of. If I had a tip for you guys,
activity trumps everything else.
Everything [music] else. Boom. Thank
you, Roger. Give it up for Roger. Short.
Okay. [applause]
All right. Our next mentor joining us
right now for day four of Ultimate Agent
wrote over $30,000 in one week
doortodoor. Is one of the top door-to-d
dooror trainers in the industry. Please
welcome my good buddy, Mr. Dallas
Keithley. My name is Dallas Keithley.
Been in the industry for [music] right
around 21 years now. Going on 21 years.
Loving every minute of it and learning
something new every day. What I'm able
to give to the agent is show them how to
build trust with the applicant. show
them how to early on set the stage and
uh how to turn small cells into bigger
cells.
>> Boom. [applause]
>> Yeah.
>> Excited you're here, man. If you look
back and and and let's just say you were
in this experience.
>> Yeah. I'd killed for this experience.
Are you kidding me?
>> This is awesome. Yeah. The thing that
comes to mind is like your dad says all
the time, you get one shot. You get one
shot. And you think about the hundreds,
thousands of people that tried to be
where you are. This is your one shot.
This is I mean and I'm I I have no no
doubt that this is going to go on.
There's [music] going to be season 10,
11, 12, 13, but there will only be one
season 1, right? There will only be one
season 1 winner and that's going to set
the mark for everybody, right? So, I'm
excited for that. Yeah, [music]
>> I love it, brother. Appreciate you. Give
it up, Dallas Keithley. [applause]
>> All right. Our final mentor for day four
of Ultimate Agent. He promises to be the
best mentor to date. Okay. He wrote
85,000. What do you think about that, by
the way?
>> He wrote $85,000
his first six weeks in the business.
Recruited 69 people in the business in
his first 60 days all the way from
Dallas, Texas. Please welcome Nate
Offford. [music]
My name is Nate Offford. I live in
Frisco, Texas. And uh I've been in the
industry for going on right around
almost eight years now. I have a
passion, I think, for helping so many
agents because I knew what a a loser I
was. Uh how insecure I was. I didn't
think I deserve to have success. When I
met my mentor and went to one of my
first trainings, learning this
information and being around those
people who are willing to pour in me, my
entire confidence changed. My life
changed. Uh my relationships are better.
And it's just so much that I want to
pour if I can be a pour a little bit
into you what I got then I'm doing my
job.
[applause]
>> And I I did not say that by the way.
[laughter]
>> I did not say that. You're backing down
from it.
>> You're trying to get down. No, I
ultimate mentor. [laughter]
>> First of all, Nate has all the energy,
but he just brightens up a room.
>> Roger's amazing.
>> So, I'm hoping to be able to utilize
Dallas this afternoon. [laughter]
How excited are y'all to have these
three here for the next three days by
the way? Right. So excited.
>> Patrice, which which one are you most
excited [music] to work with?
>> Nate.
>> Okay. Why Nate?
>> Well, because Nate, you know, he's the
ultimate um teles [music] sales guy,
right?
>> Amanda, how [clears throat] about for
you? Which which uh which mentor stands
out that you're excited to work with
today? [music]
>> It's Nate.
>> Okay.
>> Well, he stands out in more than one
way.
>> That's true.
>> Hey, you know what? If you want to blow
my candle out so yours shines brighter,
then feel free, guys. You know, we're
good.
>> Are you going to let us sell it all?
>> We'd be happy to. Now,
>> if they did, which one of you guys are
getting second?
>> I'll take all the leads that people
can't close. I'll go work those.
>> Oh,
I like this.
>> Do you think Do you guys think Nate
would finish last? How [music] would
that How would that work?
>> In the field.
>> In the field. Yes.
>> You'd be trying to figure out where to
park that car. [laughter]
>> Ah, I love these guys.
>> I love it. Michael, who's getting
eliminated today? If it's not you, who
is it?
It's just not me. That's all I know.
>> He's not confident.
>> Amanda, who's getting eliminated today?
>> Really?
>> Um,
sorry, buddy. [laughter]
>> It's all right.
>> That's the easy one. He's got a negative
100 bucks, right?
>> Yeah, exactly. That's why I went with
it.
>> All right, day four. [music] Let's rock
and roll. Somebody's getting eliminated
tonight. Turn over every stone as we
said and let's go rock and roll.
>> Let's go.
[music]
>> Today my strategy right now is we're
we're in training right now. They're
giving us new techniques, [music]
teaching us some things. I'm going to
take this information in and I'm going
to use the information that they're
giving me.
>> The number one thing in sales that you
have to have in order to make a sale is
what? begins with T.
>> No. [music] Trust. Trust. You have to
have trust. Where does trust begin when
you're door knocking?
>> At the door.
>> But when you're pulling that driveway,
like who's the stranger in the yard,
right? Who's the car coming in? So,
[music] you have to think, okay, how do
I lower that barrier and increase trust?
I leave my car running. They see the
exhaust, the doors open, I'm there for a
short time, I don't have all my luggage
walking up to [music] the door like I'm
coming in for 2 hours, right? It's all
there in the house. Well, when I was
asked to be one of the coaches here on
the Ultimate Agent, I [music] knew what
it was like when I started for the first
time in sales. And it's not just about
the selling of life insurance. [music]
It's about this art of persuasion.
Because really in sales, that's what
we're doing. We're telling somebody,
we're convincing somebody, [music] we're
uh, you know, asking somebody to accept
a premise that we're presenting. [music]
I wanted to bring a road map for that
formula for those five steps. belief,
trust, stakes, options, and solutions.
And once I believe people understand
that in sales, they can pretty much be
successful in any sales venue, not just
life [music] insurance.
>> Okay. You said something to me that bug
bugged me. You said daytime is not a
good day to be calling mortgage
protection right now. Don't say
anything.
>> Mindset, dude.
>> Yeah.
>> Why is it not good?
>> It's good. Why? That's in your brain.
>> Yeah.
>> They have a cell phone, dude. Do you
have a cell phone? Yeah. Yeah. If I
called you right now and said, "I have
$100,000 in a bag of cash to come down
to the grocery store and get it right
now. It's 3 minutes away." Would you
pick up the phone, answer it?
>> Is it a bad time for you?
>> No.
>> You're protecting that family's from
financial devastation, right?
>> Nate's awesome. He's uh super
personable, genuine, and he really cares
and he's seen a lot of success with new
agents. Being able to write hundreds in
their first month. And so, just to be
able to get a lot of coaching and
training from him is like priceless. So
when Josh when he wrote $31,000 in in
APV his first 31 I mean $103,000 his
first 31 days all he did was dial set
appointments if he's not running
appointment he's dialing he dialed in
the morning he dialed in the afternoon
he dialed at night he just kept dialing
dialing dialing dialing dial and he had
10 in play 10 in play at all times and
that's you can do that virtual [music]
so what do you have four in play?
>> No I've got nine today you had nine
appointments in play. Okay, great. Never
let that number get below nine between
now and Wednesday. [music]
>> And if you want to do anything virtually
you'll win. If you cannot let it get
past past nine or 10.
>> So if you have nine today and you have
two that don't show up, you're on the
phone, you're replacing them.
>> So all it is is like think about like
you have these 10 these 10 appointments
on there, they start falling off, you're
dumping them more on, dumping more on.
And when you look on that calendar, if
you if every moment of the day you have
10 appointments set,
>> you can't lose. So I did it. We called
it 10 in play. Just keep 10 in play no
matter what. And virtual you can do that
cuz you always have access to the leads
and you can keep calling and you keep
the 10 in play. If it's eight and play,
keep eight and play. Whatever. Whatever
floats your boat. Yeah. Right. But like
10 and play would be. How many you have
in play right now? Four. Well, get busy.
Let's go. Go. Quit talking to me and get
to work.
[music]
>> This morning I was totally defeated. Had
a breakdown. Was crying. All of my
emotions. Couldn't work the [music]
system. couldn't find a place to work. I
had to set up an office and a bathroom.
[music] The stress of everything just
came down on me. Okay. I'm not trying to
be [music] I just need
>> Yeah.
>> Okay.
>> So, this is your up to you.
>> Okay.
>> It's your call.
>> Okay. Cool.
>> Whatever is best for you. You get
>> right.
>> Hello. Hi, Carolyn.
>> Hi, Miss Carolyn. Good morning. My name
is Patrice. I received the form that you
sent in regarding information on the new
2022 final expense life insurance plans.
[music] I'm calling to give you that
inform.
>> Well, maybe it was your husband, Donald.
[music]
Life can suck sometimes, but you know,
if you really focus, you can come out on
top.
>> How you how you feeling about today so
far? [music]
>> Good. Um, I've got, you know, a couple
sales done, but I've got a few a couple
more appointments, got some fresh leads
[music] they just gave me. So, hopefully
do a couple more one call closes.
[music]
>> Okay.
>> And see where that goes. And plus, I
have a follow-up from a one that I sold
on Saturday. [music] She wants to do
another one. So,
>> Okay, good. What's your Why are you
really passionate about the business?
What What makes you passionate about
that? You said you really wanted to make
an I think the other night you were
telling me you want impact on for women.
>> Oh, for sure. because um [music]
obviously after losing my son
>> it was it was it was a dark place like I
didn't know if I even wanted to exist
but obviously as a mother to two
beautiful daughters I had to exist
[music]
and um so I had to find my way out of
that I I like one of my favorite phrases
[music]
um it takes guts to get out of the rut
but if you really focus on 1% better
every day you can shine bright like a
diamond again
>> and that's what I tell my daughters
because [clears throat and music]
they had a front row seat to the demise
of me. And for a patch of three and a
half years, they saw me crying at least
pretty much daily. [music]
>> Wow.
>> And then losing my hero, my father just
And then my daughter's situation. So, it
was just a lot. [music]
>> But it's uh you've risen from the ashes.
>> I've risen from the ashes. That's why
I'm glad that not only did they see the
demise, [music] they've got to see the
>> the triumph.
>> The Yeah, exactly. the triumph. People
think in life that if there's a 30% that
you need to [music]
a 30% growth before you start
succeeding, they think it's too
monumental and they can't reach it.
>> You say 1% better.
>> Focus on that 1%. [music] That's not
That's just you stay failing forward.
>> That's great. Yeah,
>> that's great. So, let's go rock it. Do
you think you deserve to win?
>> Well, hell yeah.
>> Are you going to win?
>> Yes. [music]
>> Well, you're not going to win talking to
me, right? We got to go to the phone.
Let's go.
>> Let's go. [laughter]
>> That's awesome. Let's see what we can
help you do here.
[music]
>> I said, "Well, why don't you go ahead
and get that policy out for me? That way
when I get there, I can go ahead and
take a look at it and everything looks
good. I'm going to go ahead and tell you
everything looks good." I said, "But my
job is just to make sure and review what
you have is is the right thing."
>> Nice. Yeah. and she said, "Cool."
>> Yeah.
>> It's nice. [music] There you go.
>> Beautiful, man.
>> I love people that have policies in
place.
>> Oh, yeah. No, it means
>> they believe in life insurance and
they're going to, you know, if they buy
one, if I I
>> People don't buy one car.
>> Exactly.
>> So, yeah, I love that.
>> Very nice.
>> So, I'm hoping to be able to utilize
Dallas this afternoon. My goal [music]
is to run all these appointments this
morning and then um set up my afternoon
evening and uh head out over to Lincoln.
Whenever you're applying new knowledge,
you just have this [music]
extra confidence in yourself and you're
able to help more families.
>> Hey, I'm not interested.
>> Mark, this is a form that you sent me.
I'm not a telemarketer, but I'm just
responding to the form you guys sent me.
So,
>> yeah, I'm
no longer interested. Thank you very
much for the call.
>> Oh,
>> hello Nancy.
>> Yeah, this is Nancy.
>> Hi, Nancy. This is Johnny. Just getting
back to you about the new state
regulated final expense program uh you
filled out. You said your birthday was
August 3rd, 1968. Is that correct?
>> Yeah. What's this for?
>> I love it. Uh this is for the new state
regulated final expense program here in
Nebraska for uh only Nebraska residents.
It's actually an exclusive offer that
we're having. Um
>> Okay.
>> Yes. So, and then so I just I'm the
field underwriter here and uh just
wanted to get this information to you.
When could I uh I have like hundreds of
requests, but uh is now a good time that
we could kind [music] of review these or
um would later today be better? It
should take [music] about 10 minutes to
review the like fill out an application,
see if you could get approved. Um
>> what's it what do you what do you get?
What Yeah, that's fine.
>> Is now a good time?
>> Yeah, we can do that now. Yeah,
>> perfect. I told him, you know, in in one
of our one-on- ones, I said, "Johnny, if
I got this industry, if I I got
connected, like you're getting connected
now to this industry when I was 20 years
old, I cannot imagine where I'd be." And
um I also told him if I was betting and
I was starting an agency from ground
zero, I would bet on him every time and
I would choose him every time because
that that kid has a super [music] bright
future.
>> Sounds good. And you have a wonderful
day. God bless.
>> You too. You too. Bye.
>> Okay. Byebye.
>> Boom.
office. So,
>> oh, that's how you close a deal.
>> That was nice.
>> By the washer and dryer. [laughter]
>> Welcome back. I saw a lot of activity
this morning. A lot of running around
the house. I saw Johnny upstairs set an
appointment, then he was running down
the stairs, literally out of the house
to his car. Michael, how you feeling
mentally [music]
about this process right now? Mentally,
it's been it's been tough. I mean,
honestly, I mean, there's been a lot of
there's been a lot going on. [music]
This house is active. I've had to be
like, "Hey, enough, you know, and people
like walking [music] out the door." Um,
>> or running. [laughter]
>> Yeah. It's not easy. I mean, this is
this is tough. People don't realize. I
mean, you're literally giving leads and
then you got to expect to sell them like
every day, right, along the way. And in
a new market, like there's a lot of
there's a lot of specifics here.
>> Yeah. I was I'm a seasoned agent and
this would be a tough thing for me to
jump into. I mean, leads you're
unfamiliar with, CRM you're unfamiliar
with, uh products you're unfamiliar
with. I'm proud of all you guys.
>> Then you throw through it.
>> Then you I was watching earlier. I think
it was Michael had somebody on the
phone. He's got Roger Short and Nate
Offer and a camera in his face like go.
>> No pressure, right?
>> No pressure at all. Yeah,
>> no pressure. You're good. No pressure.
>> We have [music] 12 new fresh direct
millies that just came in from our
friends over at insurance marketing hub.
Cindy Seal. [music]
Also, it is time for another agent
challenge.
>> Yes, exciting, right? Which is exciting.
This is a big one because there are four
contestants,
>> three mentors that can physically go and
help you. So, this is you're going to
actually win time with mentors. First,
second, and third. We get to choose who
they spend several hours with. So, we're
going to do a challenge. And the way
this is going to work is you are going
to get 90 seconds to sell them a fire
ticket to 8% nation. Right? You get
you're going to get a couple minutes to
research the details of that and you're
going to be able to jump in and see if
you can close a fire ticket to 8% in 90
seconds.
Also, since Johnny won
the first two days in the field, Johnny
gets to choose the order
of how we go sell this, right? So, who
would you like to send over there first?
>> Um,
Michael Amanda Patrice Me.
>> Okay. Michael Amanda Patrice Me. Dude,
he keeps putting it on the the man. I
like it, dude. He He'll rise to the
occasion for sure. Right. Also, the
judges are going to keep scores. [music]
and tallies on each of the contestants
during this contest. And they are
judging you on how you [music] interact,
how you overcome, and how you close.
And you have to do it all in 90 seconds.
So, let's jump to the challenge.
>> Yeah, I was I was waiting to sell Cody.
Um, to be honest, I was like super
excited to be able to get that
opportunity. Cody, how's it going?
>> Good. You doing well?
>> I am, man. How are you?
>> I'm doing well, man. Doing well. Yeah,
it's a great day. Let me ask you
something. Do you want to triple your
leads, triple your revenue, and triple
your team volume?
And I was like, dude, I know I know more
about him than anybody else in this
competition. I've been sold by the
people that he teaches to sell these
tickets, [music] these exact tickets.
>> So, that experience was a little scary.
Now, you and I have been talking a lot
lately about what can we do to get
agents more engaged, right? Cuz we want
our agents to be more engaged. We want
them to learn more things, but we can't
figure out how. Listen, basically, I
just gave it all I I gave I I put
everything in and gave it all I had. I
learned so much. Oh my goodness. I am
ready to rock and roll. I [music] had so
much on the line. I always get a little
um nervous definitely [music] on those.
Probably talk too fast. Oh, how are you
doing?
>> I'm good. How are you?
>> I'm good. One of the good things about
or in being in this business, [music]
it's really important to stay close to
the fire. So, you definitely need one of
these fire tickets. It's going to have
some great speakers, Tim Tibo. It's
definitely tough [music] when there's
multiple people staring at you. So, that
was good.
>> You said that you wanted to attend the
best insurance conference in the world.
This is it.
>> I've got a ticket here for fire. This is
the fire ticket. The main thing that
I've [music] learned uh being in this
business is get what the client wants
and get what they they really desire and
uh pull that out. What's the most
important thing that you're looking for
this conference to do for you?
>> I do want to do all those things.
>> I've heard there's a lot of hype and no
value. Is that true?
>> Oh, that's No, that's definitely not
true cuz I I've I thought the same exact
thing as you, but when I went, I was
able to quadruple my revenue within 30
days.
>> I should have bought fire. Oh my
goodness. I could have been sitting up
there in the front with Roger and Nate.
Oh my goodness. Dallas, all those guys
were up there. That's where I should
have been. I didn't have a good morning.
First, second, or third, whichever one
it was, I had to win it. Here's the most
exciting part. So, last year I sat in
the diamond section, but that's not good
enough.
>> And um it also has a social hour for
with Lauren Asins. [music] And um
>> I don't like socialize. You don't you
don't like to socialize. Well, you don't
have to come.
>> You're going to make your money back by
just rubbing shoulders with the elite.
>> Have you been?
>> I have not been.
[laughter]
>> Absolutely. You should buy it. Here's
why. Because our agents, what it's going
to do is it's going to take them to the
next level.
>> Okay.
>> At the Q&A
>> and the lunch. Good
>> and on the shuttle bus.
>> Good.
Time. Time.
>> This is valued at $20,000. How much can
you do today?
>> I could probably make a down payment
[music] of
2500 bucks, maybe.
>> That's perfect. And then we'll get you
on a contract. I'll send that over to
you. Uh what was the routing number?
>> T.
>> Okay. Welcome back. Let's see who won.
This was close. This was tough.
>> They got some feedback. They're going to
let us know who's first, second, and
third and how you did.
>> Well, I got a question. Who feels like
they closed strong?
>> What would you do over again if you
could?
>> I would have just started right away.
>> Okay.
>> When you raised your hand and said you
closed good, what's your definition of
that? Why did you feel you closed good?
Michael,
>> I didn't discount the ticket and he took
the ticket.
>> How about you, Amanda? Um, just bringing
up some of the value of why you should
invest in it to stay close to the fire
and yeah,
>> same question, John.
>> I got him to give me a commitment and
that he could give money today.
>> Patrice, why do you think you closed
well?
>> I think I closed well because I gave the
value of what the ticket was.
>> So, people operate on three levels as
far as their needs go, right? There's an
external need, an obvious one, right? I
don't have the keys to my car. I need my
keys. That's an obvious one. the the
internal need is I've got to take my
child to the hospital so I really need
my keys because I got to go. And the the
uh last one is a [music] philosophical
which is right or wrong. Good parents
take their kids to the doctor, right? So
which one do you take action on the
most? Which one is the most important?
So when you're selling anything to
anybody, the key is getting to that
internal need. What is their need? And
how do my product and service help them
solve their [music] problem? We can
pitch. If we're just pitching, it's just
to the external.
>> So, who felt that they got to that
internal need?
>> There you go.
>> Yeah,
>> that that that was a separating. And
then we'll announce that we all
unanimously decided number one winner is
Johnny
[applause]
>> and and and it came down to that just
doing asking the questions. The second
person that we saw that stood out
probably got to the second place uh was
there simply because of their enthusiasm
about it. Like I wanted to go to 8%
because of the value that they brought.
Like it took me back there. I was
sitting she said I was in diamond. I
wanted to be in fire. It took me back
there thinking man I want to be that
close too. Right. So Patrice did a great
job. And so we gave her second place and
she
so
and this was hard. [laughter]
Okay. So, this was Yeah, this was our
whole entire our our uh debating back
and forth. So, it was close.
>> It was a tie as far as as far as we were
concerned, but we had to pick one versus
the other. We were doing rock paper
scissors. We gave the edge to Amanda on
the third place.
>> We did just so you know, we we didn't
end up deciding it through rock paper
scissors.
>> But that that's that's where we were.
But like I said, she just had that that
little edge. And congratulations to all
you.
>> Good job. Okay, so this agent challenge
first, second, third get to choose the
mentor [snorts] that goes out to help
them right now. So, who do you select?
>> Johnny [music] gets to pick.
>> Dang, this is like a great panel, great
people.
[sighs]
I'm going to go with
>> Roger. Boom.
>> Boom. All right. Roger's joining Johnny.
Okay. [applause]
>> All right. Patrice, second place. Who
you got?
>> I'm going to go in the field today. I
think I'm going to take Dallas with me.
>> Oh, nice.
>> Hey, that means Amanda.
>> I'll take Nate the Great.
>> There you go. You have no choice.
>> Yeah, but you know, I I would have
picked you first if I was first. So
>> Oh,
>> that's good. Makes you feel better.
>> Nate and Amanda. Okay. I love that.
Awesome job. Great challenge. Let's go
make some salads and finish up day four
[music] strong.
>> At the time, I really didn't have a
clear understanding of Dallas's
experience.
>> Let's go. This is what winters look like
leaving, baby. We're going to go out
there. We ain't coming back till we win.
>> And do throughout the morning, [music] I
had an opportunity to talk to Dallas and
found out like he's a rock star in the
field. [music] And not only is he a
rockstar, but he absolutely loves it. Is
it against the rules to flatten
somebody's tire? I mean, is that [music]
>> No, it's not. [laughter]
>> I'm feeling awesome. I have a mentor
with me, Dallas. He is the king of door
knocking. So, we're going to hit it and
we're coming back with some sales.
>> It's all It's very humbling to try to
help someone because these guys are rock
stars, [music] man. You know, I feel
like they could be teaching me as much
as I'm teaching them. So, it's really
fun just to be around the whole
atmosphere.
So, Roger's like a super genuine nice
dude and I was really looking forward to
meeting him. Do you have all of your
direct mail leads printed?
>> Yeah. Make sure you take every lead you
have with you.
>> Okay. Okay. In that beautiful Michael
Kors case you've got. It's my wife's.
[laughter]
>> So, Johnny Nitan is one of the most
engaging contestants uh in this in this
challenge. I'm just so excited to see
where Johnny goes.
>> Are you ready?
>> Yep. We're good. Four and ready.
>> All right. You got all your stuff? Yep.
You got to run out the door, man. It's
like your move. He's gone.
There's leads everywhere in here.
>> There's so many leads back there.
There's people back there that need
insurance. We're going to sell some.
>> Johnny, final words.
Final words.
>> We're going to go dominate and be number
one again. Let's go.
>> [music]
>> So, I was working with Nate Offer today
and he's great because [music] like he
pushes you. He wants you to put, you
know, things in the universe and
actually achieve them. Not just say
you're going to achieve [music] it, like
achieve it. Plus, he's tough love and
that's important to me cuz I don't like
to be coddled. So,
>> go. Let's go.
>> Okay.
>> All right. So, you good to go here?
[music] You're just calling them up.
>> Okay.
>> I got on the phone with Becky. My name's
Amanda.
>> Okay.
>> Just want to give get this application.
See what you're going to be
pre-qualified for. Okay,
>> that's his [music] number.
>> Yeah,
>> don't freak out. Just get it done.
Assume the sale. The sale's already
made. [music]
>> I've had people go, "I'm not buying
anything tonight." And I walk out with
three policies. I got people go, "Well,
you're not coming over my house and I
was over their house or I'm not doing
this. I'm not doing that." It's all
knee-jerk reactions. I mean, you got to
understand that if you're buying a lead,
number one, whatever form of lead it is,
whether it's a digital lead, a Facebook
lead, a mail mailer lead, whatever lead
you're buying, they requested the
information, right? and they want the
information.
>> So,
>> hi. Is this Chuck?
>> Yeah.
>> Hi, Chuck. My name is Amanda. I just got
off the phone with Becky, your wife.
>> Yeah.
>> I just need [music] to ask a few uh
questions to go ahead and get this
submitted.
>> It's been a rough couple days and it's
not an easy competition. So, I called
one of my appointments a little early um
because I have I I stacked my
appointments like Nate was teaching us,
right? [music] And I triple booked three
appointments every hour 6 7 8:00 tonight
because I knew that coming down to the
wire it's going to be it's just going to
be nuts. So I called him. I said, "Hey,
Rudolph, you know, um I didn't get a few
bits of information. I didn't ask you if
you use tobacco [music] or not." I said,
and then I asked him all the the medical
questions. He's like, "No, I'm good to
go. The only thing I got is high blood
pressure." I said, "I'll call you back
in 5 minutes." Ran [music] the quote,
went through the dug in, got the why,
and he he's got two daughters in their
40s, unmarried. I said, "Well, what
would happen if with the home?" He's
like, "I I honestly don't know." He's
like, "They'd probably sell it because
they need the money." I said, "Well,
let's go ahead and um split that 50/50
for them." And [music] um so I gave him
the two options. He didn't like the 263
a month. I I think if I would have done
a better job on that, I could have done
it, but he went with uh 50,000 in
coverage for 177 bucks a month. Boom.
Yes. That's what I'm saying, baby. Let's
go. Let's go. So, you're saying you have
four left tonight,
>> right?
>> Yeah.
>> How many do you have total with them all
stacked up?
>> All stacked up?
>> Yeah,
>> I had nine.
>> You had nine, but you have four left?
>> Yes.
>> So, two time slots?
>> Yes. Seven. And well, yeah.
>> What are you going to come back with
tonight then?
>> At least another 2500.
>> All right.
Good. That's awesome.
>> [music]
>> So, what's your biggest advice for this
competition?
>> You got to stay in the moment. You got
to try to win the day. So, today it's
all about production. And Amanda right
now is ahead.
>> Okay.
>> You got any sales today?
>> Yeah,
>> you do. How much?
>> Uh 560.
>> 560. [music]
I think Amanda's probably got close to
900 or 1,000.
>> Yeah, she was telling me.
>> Is this them 1021? [music]
>> Yep.
>> So, I typically when we do training like
this,
>> yeah,
>> I typically go in and just say, "Hi, my
name is blah blah blah." Just say,
"We're [music] actually doing shadow
training today for training purposes."
So, that [snorts] because we got a lot
of families around here to help. um is
[music] it okay if I if I have uh Roger
come in? And then they go, "Okay." And
then you bring him in. Okay.
>> Then you introduce me.
>> Okay.
>> Is Roger. He's one of the trainers at
our company and we're working together
today. And and then I'll be able to give
you some credibility.
>> Okay.
>> Cool.
>> Okay.
>> It's Johnny.
>> How are you?
>> Yeah. Johnny, we spoke on the phone
earlier. Rose.
>> Oh, okay. Okay. What's going on?
>> Yeah. Oh, I was just getting uh I'm
coming with the the information you
requested about the life insurance and
then we're going to talk about that.
>> Oh, it's life insurance.
>> Yeah. And final expense coverage and all
that.
>> I got a life insurance. I got two of
them.
>> Yeah. Let me uh So, I got my uh trainer.
He's shadowing um Roger in there. Is it
okay if we come in?
>> Well, I have company right now.
>> Yeah. Okay. No, it'll take it'll take
>> I don't I got insurance, you know, and I
talked to my my family. They told me
just keep what I have. I leave that
stuff alone.
>> Yeah. No, I'd love to come just review
it. See if uh if there's any help.
>> Okay. Make it another time then cuz uh I
got like I said there's company in
there.
>> Yeah. Okay. Uh would like later today be
better for you?
>> Call me. Call me. Let let me see. Okay.
Okay. Just call. Let me know. Okay.
>> Okay.
>> Okay. Thank you,
>> Rose. Great to meet you. Thank you.
>> She brought people over. So, she's like,
"Can we make it a different time?"
I was like, "It'll take but 5 minutes."
and she's like, "I already got it. Life
insurance." I'm like, "Oh, that's
awesome."
>> So, in that situation, just say, "No
worries. I love when my family comes
over, too. This will just take a few
minutes. Let me go grab the stuff and
I'll be right back." See how I'm like
addressing it.
>> I'm not trying to overcome it. I'm
addressing it. Now, if they're going to
tell me when I walk back in, now is just
really not a good time. And they really
put their foot down. Well, now you're
getting a definitive no. But right now,
we have a no. [music] It's going to be a
no. we're not going to be able to get
back and do it. Right. That was our shot
to get in. And so you got to do whatever
you can to get in because there was
something that triggered that when she
filled that out.
>> Mhm.
>> What was it? Literally, this mail went
out 2 and 1/2 weeks ago. Right. So a
week and a half ago, you filled this
out. Something [music] was non
something, right? So we just need to
have an opportunity to try to rekindle
that and find out what that was and
review that policy and but that's going
to happen. So all right, let's go.
>> Let's bounce.
What's that?
>> Her term was just approved.
>> She just did a signature.
>> Yeah. So, we're good. It's approved.
>> Do yours. Did you sign your stuff and
submit it?
>> No, I already did it. Yeah, it's
approved.
>> She signed hers.
>> Yeah.
>> Done.
>> Oh, did you stab me with a pen?
>> Oh, well, I made sure it was sideways.
>> Yes.
>> So,
>> so [music]
>> we're good with that. So, what's that
put you at now?
>> 55 almost.
>> 54.
>> 54 and 81. [music]
>> Go on. Go on. Get more on. Get a more
on. Get more on. [music]
Two two sales in 45 minutes and 2 hours
of technical difficulty. Just not
[music] now. If you get a Mac, right? I
can't mentor you if you don't have a
Mac.
>> Yeah. Yeah. I got your message. We're on
our way back. I should be back there in
about four minutes.
>> Well, okay. I I don't want to hurt
Johnny, so whatever's whatever we got to
do.
>> Yeah, we're four minutes away. We turned
When I saw your text, we were just
wrapping up, so we started driving that
way.
>> Okay, cool. He needs it.
>> Yeah.
All right, we'll be back there shortly.
>> Did y'all get an app or he just have the
one from this morning?
>> Just the one from this morning.
>> Okay.
>> All right. What What are we up against?
What do we need? What do we need?
>> I can't tell you like specifics.
Um, but I will tell you that I would try
to make as many as I could. [laughter]
>> Of course, that's not helping us. All
right, we'll see you shortly.
>> All right, see you.
>> Bye,
>> dude. I bet Johnny, who has dominated
this competition, by the way, like every
step of the way, he's won multiple
challenges. He had the most by far the
first two days. He crushed day two. He's
sitting at 500 bucks. I bet he is
sweating. He's freaking out. And
elimination is in two hours and 35
minutes. You ready?
Two and a half hours. Two and a half
hours. We got this.
>> We got it. It's like any other day in
the insurance business, man. It's uh
it's a grind. And when you get some of
the sequences not online, when you get
maybe the wife coming in late and kind
doing a onelegger kind of throws things
off. So, we've had a couple of those
scenarios today. He's a little
frustrated. He's got super max
potential. He's going to have a great
career, but he's frustrated because he's
not on the board the way he wanted to be
today. So,
>> I was listening to David Gogggins today.
Can't hurt me. And this dude like knows
how to push it beyond his limits and and
take that governor off of like my mind.
And like listening to him in the car,
I'm like, I need to do more. I can do
more. And I'm only competing against
myself at the end of the day.
>> Yo,
>> forgot the gate coat.
>> How's it going, Patrice?
>> Good. that I got two apps, but I know I
need to do more.
Have to make some calls.
>> Hey, Lamisha. This is Patrice, your life
insurance agent.
>> Really? I don't [music] know because
things can change so fast.
>> So, I could fill out an application for
him. See if we could get him approved.
I'm like right down the block.
>> Oh, you mean like go see him? [music]
>> Yeah. So, cuz I'm like in the area.
>> Yeah. I'll call and and tell him that
you're you're supposed to visit.
>> Yeah. It's uh it's 6:45. I know that
activity is king and activity will beat
talent. I'm not going to be [music]
eliminated tonight. What is his number?
I'm going to what I'm going to do is I'm
going to call you and then I'll call
him. We'll get him on the line and help
him fill out an application. How's that
sound?
>> Oh, okay.
>> All right.
>> Awesome. And you could intro What is his
number so I could call both of you guys?
[music]
>> Johnny's got grit. I mean, he's
definitely he's not going to give up.
So, he's still up there grinding until
the last minute.
>> Okay. Do you mind if I give him a call
and just um
>> Give me one second. I'm just going to
talk to my senior underwriter. Make sure
we're headed in the right direction.
>> You're going in and out. Can [music] you
hear me? Can you hear me? Well,
>> Roger, you can hear. [music]
End of day four. It's another big night,
right? Numbers are in. We're about to go
through those. Patrice just took a giant
sigh. Why'd you do that?
>> Today was rough. It was a roller
coaster.
>> Mhm.
>> It was filled with a lot of ups, downs,
and inbetweens. [music]
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. Who were you with today?
>> Oh. Oh, I was with Dallas today.
>> Nice. How was that experience?
>> That was awesome.
>> Dallas, how was it for you, man? Hanging
out with Patrice all day.
>> It was awesome. In my head, I'm
thinking, okay, she's got to get
comfortable. You can tell she's just
she's not comfortable. that's not where
[music] she's supposed to be. But then
we get back in the car and she had a
phone call in the car and I mean that's
when she turned it on. That's when I saw
Patrice just come to life. Like I'm
like, man, I should be taking notes over
here writing down what she's saying cuz
she just Man, she got she got really
good. She was it was awesome.
>> Nate, how was it for you, man? You were
uh you're with Amanda for most of the
afternoon slash evening. It was it was
awesome [clears throat] because you know
I was telling both Patrice and Amanda
the things I like most about them and
and what Amanda is so great at doing. Um
it's not about being male, female, tall,
short, skinny, old, young. She's just
great at taking the advice um without
having affect her in any way. [music]
>> Just hey, here's the advice. Do it. Like
I don't have to tiptoe around it and be
like, okay, are you okay? Or anything
like that. And I I know she owes a lot
to her father. um because we had a
conversation about you know her father
and how the role he played in her life
and um how you know she lost him too too
[music] young and that's one of the
things that drives her. Um and so she
has this inner drive that is just above
and beyond making money. She wants to
help people. um she's wants to make an
impact in everyone's life, but
specifically for women because she's
been when you hear her story, it's so
inspiring and we talked a little bit
about [music] it before we started
dialing. Um because I think it's so
important like what's inside that I can
help pull out to help overcome those
obstacles and those hurdles and those
things that may um you're making me
emotional too that may be causing you to
doubt yourself. And if you can get past
that, I mean, yeah, the techniques are
good, the skills are good, but like
[music] people can feel that through the
phone. they can feel it in person and
she she nailed it. So, I'm super proud
of you. You're awesome.
>> So, it was super [clears throat] good.
>> That's great. Johnny, you were with
[music] Mr. Roger today.
>> Yeah.
>> How was that experience, man?
>> Things didn't go the way we planned and
wanted to. Um, there were just some
things that happened that just like it
was tough. I learned a ton today from
Roger. He's great coach, great teacher,
but uh it just was it was tough. And
that happens, you know, sometimes. Um,
what I saw in him though was a drive.
And as I was saying on the way back, you
know, like the it's an unbelievable
opportunity [music] and career. And I
said, I don't know where I would be
today if I found this business when I
was 20. Man, if I had to bet 10 times
out of 10, I'd bet on Johnny, you know,
like he's he's he's going to be huge
[music] in the business.
>> No matter what happens tonight, I mean,
you you guys have a a monumental career
[music] and success path ahead of you. I
don't want to see any of you guys go
home.
>> Awesome job to our minsters today. Thank
you guys for joining us. Okay, let's
give him a round of applause.
[applause]
As I said earlier, the results are in.
It's time to go over numbers, right?
It's
probably the least favorite part of the
day.
However,
we did have someone that had a massive
day, an incredible day, and finished
first today, which is with seven sales
for $7,267.35.
Amanda Lungsford.
>> Wow.
>> Um, felt great. Um,
the last couple days I've definitely
been out of my comfort zone with uh door
knocking in home and I was blessed to
hang out with Nate because he's great
for the mindset. [music]
>> And because you were first today, you
will win two fire tickets to 8% nation
where you can hang out backstage with
the speakers for lunch. You can sit in
with Moon. You can sit in the first row.
Congratulations on an amazing day. Okay,
let's give it up one more time for
Amanda. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Okay,
second place [music] on the day.
Three cells for $2,595.72. [music]
Patrice Shepard.
>> Way to go, Patrice.
>> My goodness. This industry is an awesome
industry. [music]
It's a great industry, and if you put
some hard work in, you'll get good
results out.
>> Way to go, Patrice.
>> Thank you.
>> Okay. Thank you. Thank [music] you.
Thank you.
Down to our final two
for the evening,
Johnny.
You did very well and crushed today's
challenge. Right. [music] Also, your
attitude
in general every single day is awesome.
I do feel like you've started to lose
some [music] confidence or change your
mind on certain decisions. Right. Even
the mentor you [music] were going to
pick this morning, etc. I also think you
got to where you started rushing and
skipping some steps.
Michael,
your urgency went up today. It was
visible.
Also, you gained [music] some
confidence.
However, I do know that if you
increased your overall enthusiasm
[music]
on the phones and throughout your day a
little bit,
your sales would go up for sure.
Johnny, what's your wife been saying to
you about [music] this experience as
y'all started communicating back and
forth?
>> [snorts]
>> I just get emotional thinking about it
cuz [music]
[snorts]
she is like [music] a huge support
system.
To be honest, there's some things that I
just thought that I [snorts] I just get
and that [music]
as I speak it, I sound crazy.
[snorts]
But then
when I'm like texting her like I'm
feeling a little down or whatever, she's
[snorts] like she's speaking life over
me.
Like who would who what wife is going to
be like [music] you need to crush those
limiting beliefs that you have. Why are
you still holding on to those? Like you
have [music] so much more potential in
you. [snorts]
It is it's just crazy to me that I would
be so blessed to have like such [music]
an amazing support system. I feel like
it's just like crazy to be able to have
that. Such an incredible gift. What
would you have, looking back
over today,
what would you have changed?
>> I would not door knock again. I I made
that decision on Saturday and I
literally made the same mistake because
I chose a mentor because they were good
at doornocking [clears throat] when
that's not my style. Never doed in my
life. And
I don't like I I don't know why I
decided to switch that and choose to do
that, but I did. And it just I made that
decision on Saturday. I'm going to go
back to the systems, back to the basics.
[music]
I'm going to call, set appointments, and
sell. That's what I'm going to do. And I
didn't execute on that today.
So, it's tough.
>> Yeah, it is.
Michael,
what would you have [music] improved
looking back over your experience?
>> Increasing my urgency for one,
[clears throat]
taking advantage of the challenges to
have
those few hours of mentoring.
I think ultimately that's been my
biggest downfall so [music] far cuz I
mean I've heard everyone's stories about
just that time and that was the reason
for coming here was to get that
one-on-one time. I've had some
one-on-one time but [music] not in my
element.
Why is this Ultimate Agent Contest
[music] meant so much to you?
>> First of all,
taking care of those forms that we
receive. They're not just forms or
leads. There are families that have
reached out and asked for help and
sometimes this is their last lifeline
[music]
and it's my job to go out there and
bring them in and show them exactly what
they need. And then it's my team, you
know, my team's back home [music] right
now and I mean they're begging for
information. I'm like, I can't tell you
anything. [laughter] you know, I can't I
want to I would love to, you know, like
what have you learned? Like the time
will come and I'll be able to share all
that.
>> What would you tell other agents that
[music] are watching this from all over
the globe right now?
>> Take this career [music] seriously.
You're helping yourself and you're
helping your family as well. It's
amazing what'll come from just taking
the time and helping families out there.
Unfortunately, it's elimination time.
The person
who is going home
and being eliminated
tonight
is
>> [music]
>> Johnny,
[music]
dude, you have fought for this, bro.
Like, you have fought for this as much
as anybody else has.
Talk about your experience while you've
been here.
It's been amazing. [music]
Priceless. Yeah. I mean, it it's tough
to go home. Like, I do have a sour taste
[music] in my mouth of just going home
early because this is not what I wrote.
This is not the story that I was trying
to write. [music]
>> Johnny is an amazing kid. Um, Patrice
and I were even talking about it. We
both have kids the [music] exact same
age as Johnny. And um I obviously would
have loved to see my son grow up, but um
Johnny's [music] parents are I'm sure
very proud. He's a good kid.
>> You are an amazing individual. [music]
You you truly have a good heart. You're
walking the good walk [music] right now.
This is not in any means a loss for you,
brother. You're going to go out there.
you're going to be bigger than I am, you
know, and quicker.
>> The first time [music] you asked the
question,
Patrice, who's your biggest competitor?
I was like myself, right? [music] Then
the next day you asked the same question
and I said, Johnny,
I [music] see so much potential in him.
And I have a a 19year-old [music] son
who's going to be 20 in a couple of
days.
[music] The maturity that Johnny has, he
is like a grown man. I [music] know
Johnny has a bright, bright future. And
Johnny, I just want to say to you that I
[music] am so very proud of you. I
cannot wait to see the great great
things that you're going to do in this
industry. Not only in this industry, but
the [music] impact that you're going to
have on this world. I'm proud of you.
>> What would you like to say knowing this
is your last [music] moment on the show?
I mean, this is the worst I'm going to
be.
You're looking at it.
So true. [music]
You keep working like you are. You keep
thinking like you are. You keep the
right attitude, right? [music] You keep
shattering limiting beliefs. You keep
listening to your wife Bailey.
And dude, you [music] have an incredibly
bright future.
>> Those are the things I'm going to
remember. Being able to like literally
see like my role model like write down
his goals every day. [music] That's who
I want to be. And being able to have
this opportunity like springboards it so
much. But at the same time, it's like I
really want to bring what I've learned
here and like how great can I make this
[music] be? How big can I make this be?
>> I didn't want to see him go because he
definitely deserves it. He's going to
he's going to succeed in life for sure.
[music]
Your drive and determination
is unmatched [music] by anyone your age
that I've met.
>> I really want to bring what I've learned
here and like how great can I make this
be? How big can I [music] make this be?
So, I'm really excited to be able to see
what happens because this was an
absolutely amazing opportunity.
[music]
Day five. Welcome to top three. Two more
days. Give yourselves a hand for being
in the top three. Let's go.
>> Everyone else has had their big [music]
day so far, right? You know, uh Patrice
had her her top day. [music] Amanda had
her top day. Johnny had his top day.
Well, someone's due, right? So, here I
am.
>> Last night last night was rough, right?
Like it [music] makes it so surreal.
Michael, how are you feeling about
today?
>> And I'm jacked out of my mind right now.
I mean, this is We have one more day to
make it to the final day.
I loaded up with resources. This morning
when I was sitting there, my phone was
just going off. Appointment booked,
appointment booked, appointment booked
from our system,
>> you know. So, we have our automated
system. I threw those in there this
morning. I said I'd get here early so I
didn't get penalized. I was here early.
I I mean, I think everyone was still
asleep, you know? When I walked into the
main room, everyone was asleep still.
Like, come on, let's go, people.
>> Waking up the whole house.
>> Today's a whole new day of energy, man.
I mean, I'm I'm ready to go out there,
rock and roll, and finally for the
audience to see a little bit uh a little
bit more of me. As you guys can see, I
even changed my apparel. So,
>> yeah, it's like a he's excited. He's
smiling and he's put on a coat. It's,
you know, it's crazy.
>> He's using big words like apparel
>> and Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. Okay.
Here's what I want to know real quick.
[music] How much premium are you going
to write today?
>> Seven.
>> 7,000,000. [music]
>> My goal is 15,000.
>> 15,000.
>> I'm going to go with 7500.
>> 7500. That'd be a couple hundred more
than yesterday, right? Well, today is
extremely important. [music] You are
starting over at zero
and it's another elimination day. It's
getting real. I want to jump to [music]
Nate to see what advice he has. I can
bring things to you that that I can
teach you. You're not going to learn it
in a day. Roger can bring things he can
teach you're not going to learn in a
day, right? You know, so can Dallas and
Cody. So look at your zone and then look
at the coaches and go, how can I utilize
their skills to help me increase what
I'm good at and my strengths so I can
improve upon them because we can teach
you that in a day. You know, Roger
talked about this morning your mantra in
the morning. I think any successful
person or I know every successful person
you talk to, they put themselves in a
space mentally where they envisualize
what they want to do has already
happened. And that's an art and it's a
skill, but it's something you can do
immediately. And if you [music] can get
that mindset right and put yourself in
that situation, I mean, the sky's is the
limit.
>> Everyone's bringing their agame today.
[music] Mindset.
>> Mindset is what separates the best from
the rest.
>> There you go.
>> Right there on the t-shirt.
[clears throat]
>> I love it.
>> I love it, too.
>> It's funny when you were saying that,
>> Amanda was looking towards her t-shirt
and Michael also smirked a little bit.
Why'd you [music] do that?
I haven't had a coach yet, right, in
this contest.
So, being able [clears throat] to hear
him say that even if I don't have a
coach today, okay, that just means I
need to push myself more and do what I
do best, and I haven't done that this
whole time, right? Like, I've been
trying to do this, this, and this. I
know what my zone is,
>> and that's why I'm so damn confident
about [music] today. So, it takes you
being coachable in order to win a coach.
If you want a coach, then you have to
work to [music] get one. It may seem
like it's a little unfair. No, it's not
unfair. Be coachable [music]
and earn your coach. The reason why I
had a coach for 2 days is because I
worked my ass off and I earned a coach.
>> I went ahead and and made it this far
[music] on my own valition. You know,
had I had a coach, had I earned a coach,
I I would probably be a lot further
along. Yeah, absolutely.
>> Every challenge is here [music] to teach
us. It's an opportunity for us to grow,
for us to learn.
>> It's true, Amanda, you're kind of are
you are you kind of thinking the same
thing or what are you thinking over
there? You you were processing. [music]
>> You've have three days to prove
yourself. And
you know, [music] in one day, I think
I've done more than the three days
combined for a certain person. So I um
Yeah.
>> So I worked for that.
>> Yeah.
>> So you guys are here to help us, but
[music] you're not giving us anything.
We have to work for everything.
>> If what someone else says bothers you,
that tells me that her mindset's already
shot for the [music] day.
>> Here's what I want you to take from
today, right? Nothing else matters. You
got to drown out all the noise.
>> Yep.
>> Your emails are blowing up. Your family
at home's got stuff going on. They're
texting you, [music] right? You've got
to be present
>> in the moment. And you got to stay
focused and be present till the till the
bell rings tonight.
>> 100%.
>> There is no there there are no other
things cuz if you want this if you want
this to to really take you to that next
level, you've got to use every minute
and be present [music] and own it and
own it. So that's all we're going to do
today. Keep it in focus so you can be
blazing hot all day. All right, go get
it. I'm excited. I'm excited to see what
happens.
>> Let's go. Day five. There can only be
one
ultimate agent. Let's rock and roll
today.
[music]
>> What's going on,
>> Cody? I'm in this life [music] for real.
And you know that
>> we are here and we're supposed to be
doing this by herself. [music]
>> I have an assistant at home. This is
what she does for me. She calls on my
underwriting and things like that. But
what she also does is call on leads for
me and books appointments for [music]
me.
She's she doesn't even know if I won or
lost cuz I haven't even been talking to
her because I haven't been talking to
anybody except my mother.
I take offense to this morning, Michael
coming in. Yeah, it's going down this
morning. You know, I paused a whole
bunch of leads and I [music] got my
audible assistant book. They booked
them. Wait a minute. Nobody can help you
book your appointments. [music] Because
here's the thing. If I had known that, I
would be in a whole different space
right now. But I thought the idea was
that we were to do this 100% on [music]
our own without any assistance or
without any anything. So I
I don't [music] think that it that
that's fair.
>> We did talk about how you can buy
leaves.
>> Okay.
>> I I even brought it up to you cuz people
weren't asking
>> and other people had asked. I want to
make sure everybody knew. Mhm.
>> And then two, um, everybody is able to
use technology. The system he's using is
the same as Samson. It's just the his
imos's version of Samson that sends text
to try to book appointments. So, it's
automated text that are going out to
these leads, but he's not using any
help. He's asking me if he could use
assistance, other people or his team,
etc. And I said, "No, anything you use,
anybody else has got to be able to use."
So, I can promise you even though I may
not he may come in and beat his chest
and like puff up and all that, I can
promise you I've had
all these same conversations with him
can and cannot do
>> 100%.
>> And you got a lot of people sitting at
home. They got their money on Patrice.
>> And it helps you. It helps you to go buy
leads.
>> No, I'm good.
>> Cody, I'm going to tell you something.
When you ultimate agent, you don't need
to do extra fluffy stuff. I told you
from the beginning, this is how I live
my life. I've been living my life as
ultimate agent. All you about to do is
just get just [music] put a title on it.
But when you live your life as ultimate
agent, you don't have to do tricks and
gimmicks.
>> You got
>> this competition [music] is a
competition. It's hard. We are put in
situations that we're not normally in.
None of us are in our comfort zone at
all. I'm having a hard time just like
everybody else is. I just want an
opportunity to give you the information.
Okay.
>> I think I'm going to pass right now.
>> You're going to pass right now? Okay.
Well, you have a nice day, Christie.
Okay.
>> You too.
>> Bye-bye.
>> Everyone's bringing their aame today. I
[music] know. Um, when you get down to
the final three, I mean, I want to be
one or two, preferably one, [music] but
I would love for me and Patrice to go to
final two, just because from day one,
[music] we've been girl power. Like,
like we said, even last night, this is a
male dominant industry, but I [music]
know that Michael's going to bring his
aame, too.
>> Well, I've got uh I've got an
appointment at a credit union today.
[music] One of my door knocks. The lady
said, you know, family's here right now.
Come back. uh can you come to my my
[music] work like yeah absolutely you
know and I asked [clears throat] her I
said you know while I'm there I want to
talk to a few more people [music] so I
said do you think you can set that up
for me and she's like yeah absolutely so
when you walk into a credit union you
can't walk in looking like a slob you
know so
this could be this could be all the
difference for me in terms of setting me
over and getting me to the next round
[music]
>> Yep. Yep.
Just like the business and got to
overcome and adapt.
[music]
[music] I'm just going to dial dial
dial. I do have one or two um outside
appointments that I that I've already
made, but I'm going to get on the phone
and I'm going to dial [music]
Hello.
>> Hi, Miss Michelle. I think we got
disconnect. We got disconnected. I'm so
sorry about that. I was calling you
giving you the information about the
final expense plan. Now, it's going to
be just for you. So, let me tell you how
it works. I am a licensed senior
benefits advocate, and it's my job to
determine which one of those programs
[music] is going to be the very best fit
for you. Now, I'm going to do that by
asking you a couple of questions about
your health and your medications, and
we're going to find you something good
that fits your needs and your budget.
Now, what's your birthday?
>> I'm not interested.
>> Well, well, you said that you wanted
some information. Why did you fill out
the form?
>> I shouldn't have. I probably didn't. I'm
moment of not thinking.
>> You weren't thinking. No. Everybody
needs some life insurance. You were
thinking you had Not interested. Thank
you. Got to call again.
>> Yes, ma'am.
>> Do not call list.
>> Well, because this is a contest, [music]
it's kind of a unique It's kind of like
a fishbowl right now. It's kind of like
this this echo [music] chamber. It's the
in this tiny bubble and we have to
operate within the parameters of a
contest. So, yes, while we're serving
families and we need to do our very best
to protect them and have their interests
first, agents are also going to have to
make a judgment call when they need to
shut down a conversation where [music]
you're trying to convince someone of
something that they may not be fully
convinced of yet
>> in the next 30 days and we can go from
there. Okay.
Awesome. Thanks, Sandra. You have a good
day.
>> Bye-bye.
>> I had another one. [music] I like it.
What's the what's your total
>> with the two two apps for 2145?
So definitely [music] it's good to have
those two around 2,000 because when
agents feel the too much pressure then
they have commission breath and then
then they can't close one because then
it's like [music] they're just trying to
like force it at the client and the
client can sense that. So, I try to
keep, you know, happy with what I've got
cuz a little bit of momentum and
traction is better than nothing cuz I
don't know what they're at. I'm [music]
hoping that they're at zero.
So, I did come out of there with the
sale. Um, small one, but again, doesn't
really matter on on the final price at
the end of the day because it was
another [music] person that was needing
the help. She's getting ready to retire
in December and she was just super
grateful that someone was able to meet
with her in person because that's what
she prefers to do [music] business is
face to face. Um and when I got there,
everyone was out to lunch. So, um my
[music] ultimate plan didn't quite plan
out. But, uh overall it went well and
she was like, you know, anyone that I
[music] can help you with, I'm going to
send them your way.
[music]
Welcome back. Midday, day five.
Amanda, how was your morning so far?
>> It was good. I've just been [music]
dialing away.
>> Awesome. Was there one specific thing
that you learned this morning looking
back as you were working through [music]
some new leads and making calls? just to
mass action. Just [music] keep keep at
it.
>> Patrice, how about you?
>> People are picking up the phone, so
that's always a great thing. That's a
good sign.
>> That's a great sign. [music]
>> Having lots of conversation, so that's
awesome.
>> I love it. Nobody wants to lead on too
much though, right? I love it. I love
it. Michael, how about you, buddy? How's
day five [music]
midday so far? How's your morning been?
>> It's been a mixed bag, you know. So, uh,
as I was dialing today, I found a few
opportunities that I had missed [music]
on, you know, and then, um, obviously I
had to leave, go do another appointment,
come back, and then started [music] to
do some followup on some of the people
that were kind of iffy and getting those
people set for this evening.
>> Yeah. He says mixed bags. Do you do you
trust him? Is he playing? Is he Is he Is
he messing with us? Is there some
strategy going [music] on right now?
Right. Any thoughts?
>> I don't know.
>> Okay. Time will tell, right? So, here's
what we've been doing, right? Every
single day, we've had an agent challenge
where you have competed against one
another to select the mentor that you
would like to work with you and to help
you.
Today
we're going to throw [music] in a little
twist which is instead of you competing
and choosing a mentor today the mentors
are going to compete here shortly and
then they are going to choose the
contestant [music] that they want to
work with and help. This can make a
drastic impact on how you do the rest of
the day. And we're going to pair one
mentor with one contestant based on how
they do and based on who they choose.
Let's finish strong.
>> Let's go.
>> Hey, we're here with our mentors for our
next agent challenge. One of the most
important things in insurance,
day-to-day sales, building a business,
is knowing how to drive [music]
a car from one place to the next. Y'all
are in trouble.
>> So, let's see who the best at that is
right now. Y'all
>> in trouble. [music]
>> [music]
[music]
>> Heat. [music] Heat.
Heat
>> [music]
>> up [music]
here.
[music]
>> [music]
[music]
>> Come on, baby. At the end.
Woo!
>> Come on.
>> Look, look, look. That was a horse fish.
>> Look, how did we not tie
agent challenge [music] mentor edition
is in the books. Dallas just edged it
out over Roger. Now they get [music] to
choose a specific contestant that
they're going to help for the next two
hours. Dallas gets first pick. Who would
you like to select? [music] I'm going to
go with the uh leader in the clubhouse,
Amanda.
>> Okay.
>> Pulled it off strong yesterday. We're
going to improve on that today.
>> I love it. Dallas with Amanda Lungford.
[music] Roger. Second pick. Who you got?
>> I think I'm going to go with Patrice.
She had fire in her eye this morning
when she woke up. She had a little
something to prove and [music] uh I'm
going to help her prove it.
>> Love it. Nate.
>> Michael Val. There you go, baby. All
right. That's what [music] I wanted
anyways.
>> Nate and Michael. Okay, the picks are
in. Let's see which mentor [music]
helps the contestants the most.
Let's go. Let's go. Let's go.
>> I'm just decompressing right now for a
second. All right. He's No time to
decompress. Get to work.
>> Let's go. I got your space already.
Look.
>> Oh, look at your office is set up.
>> Yes.
>> Who Who doesn't love Roger? [music]
You know, with everything that he
brings, I know that u we're going to get
some valuable information today. So now
as soon as my leads print so I can see
all the information. I'm going to call
them back and set the appointment.
>> So you going to do this on a one call
close or you going to set up the
appointment for later today?
>> I'm going to set this one up for [music]
later.
>> Yes.
>> Make sure you do that lock down.
>> Yeah.
>> The lock down. The lock down is the key
to get them to show up cuz you can't
sell anything they don't show up. For
the agent to come out on top today and
do extremely well at a high level is
they have to continue to do the massive
action, right? They cannot they got to
keep a consist just like in success you
got to keep a consistent attitude no
matter what's happening. They can't get
excited when they write a big app and
they can't get deflated when they're on
the final thing and they go I'm not
going to give you my bank account
information. They just got to keep
going.
>> What are you guys going to do for the
rest of the day to
>> just
>> dial
>> dial dial
>> dial like I have nothing [music] better
just dial.
>> I'm imploring a bold coaching strategy.
I'm leaving her alone. And uh
>> dial dial dial.
Actually, Mr. Myron's about to get a
phone call. I said 5 10 minutes. [music]
I think it's been 5 minutes. I can't
stop. That's for sure. I can't take my
foot off the gas. I think I would feel
cozy if that's a good word. Um 4,000 or
[music] more. Patrice's number, I think
she was at three one time. Michael's
never really I think went over 2500. It
doesn't mean [music] anything though
because he just bought fresh leads and
he also bought mortgage protection. So
that's a big deal because mortgage
protections higher AP. So
that's that scares me a little bit.
[music]
>> Hello.
>> Hello. Hi Jean. It's Patrice Shepard
calling you back from senior benefits.
[music]
I received your card here from where you
sent us [music]
to request information about the final
expenses in Nebraska, the new 2022
[music]
programs.
>> I did not send any card about that.
>> Yeah. So, I have it right here. I just
received it today. [music]
What I want to do is I'm calling to give
you and Arlin the information about the
program. I just want to verify I just
want to verify that I have all the
information. I did not ask for this
information. I did not ask for it. I'm
not interested. Thank you.
>> So, when you get a [music] when you get
a situation like that, just say, "Oh,
let me I received a mail a piece. So,
[music] if you did not fill it out,
maybe your husband might have filled it
out or someone else may have filled it
out, but I received it [music] here and
it's in handwriting. Is your name Jean?"
And then spell it out. Are you at 4:15?
Are [music] you 63? And he's 70. If you
think about when someone that you don't
know is approaching you or calling you
or showing up at your home, there's
three questions really that are running
through their mind. Two or three
questions. Number one, who are [music]
these people? You know, who who are they
with and what do they want? I mean,
these are the questions that are running
through their mind. So, if we know those
[music] questions are running through
their mind, then we should stage and
position the open on our call [music]
and our first contact with that client
or potential client to answer those
questions. And when you do, you've
answered now the questions that have
[music] given them skepticism and it's
lowered the barrier and increased trust
and given you that little extra window
of grace to [music] explain why you're
calling and how you're about to help
them.
>> I'm going to give you one I'm going to
give you one more little tip. Yeah.
>> Okay. [music]
>> The two questions that are running
through people's heads, if you answer
those first, you buy yourself about
another 10 to 15 seconds to continue.
So, if someone showed up to your house
and you didn't know who they were, what
are the questions [music] running
through your head about
>> who are they?
>> Yeah. And
what do they
>> what do they want?
>> What do they want? That's what's running
through everyone's head.
>> So, when you open up, [music] you answer
those questions, but then you pause and
said, "How are you?"
>> And you stop.
>> Stop doing that.
>> Then you stop talking. Right?
>> So, [music] that creates a gap. Now
they're going to ask a question about
what it is you're doing
>> and that interrupts your flow. You give
power away. [music]
>> Okay?
>> You just you give them control. When she
changed that, it allowed her then to
take the next step to verify the
information [music] on the card they
submitted or the lead form they filled
out online. And their first question was
then not how are you [music]
and it was just dead space. And now the
client is saying what's all this about?
The first question was [music] I want to
confirm this information. are you still
at 123 Main Street? And so she needed a
little help [music] with that. Boy, when
she made that tweak, she started getting
a lot more conversations. We started
getting into a lot more opportunities
[music] for her to be able to serve
people. Here's the key. I'm going to
give this one key and I'll let you get
to work.
>> So, Michael, the only reason, Julie,
Michael, the only reason I'm here today
or on the phone today with you is to
establish, is [snorts] there a concern,
right? Because my whole goal is I want
to get over to think about it right
away. Okay? So the only reason I'm here
today is to establish is there a
concern?
Is there a concern that you want to have
something put in place so in the event
the unexpected were to happen that
you're not leaving each other or your
family with a financial hardship?
[music] And look here, I'll give it to
you. I I have it right now. I think
we've established that based on our
conversation earlier. I think we've
established that, haven't we? That you
do want to have at least something.
>> Yeah, [music] Julia. Okay, great. So let
me explain how the process is going to
work. We're going to apply today to see
what you qualify for. And a couple
things that big pieces that he was
missing in the presentation that I was
able to help him out with um was being
able to overcome the I want to think
about it because he was getting a lot of
those I want to think about it at the
end. He had all the pieces there. So we
were able to show how to overcome the I
want to think about it and also how to
explain the process before showing the
numbers. So they knew what to expect. So
the application was just
part of the presentation instead of
having it segmented to where a lot of
agents will struggle. they get to that
point that's like, "Oh, I got to take an
app and it's awkward and it's
uncomfortable." If you just simply
explain the process, here's what we're
going to do today. And you explain the
process. When it gets to the point to
take the app, [music]
they already agreed to take it. I'm
going to show you some numbers. You're
going to pick a number. And it's not so
important you pick the exact number. And
then you price shock them. Let's say you
pick 400 bucks a month. Cuz the first
number you always give is always high.
[music] What's their brain thinking? 20,
30 bucks a month when you cover a whole
thing, right? Let's say you just pick
400 bucks a month.
>> And I know, you can see in their face,
right? and we app [music]
just call me and say, "Hey, I just want
to lower it down." We just [music] lower
it down when it goes to the
underwriting, you know? So, when we
actually put the policy through and we
apply for the coverage, whatever number
you pick, it's easier to go down than it
is to go up and it easier to take things
off than it is to add them on. Does that
make sense? So, if you're kind of like,
I'm not sure about this one or that one,
it's okay. We can qualify high. We can
always go lower. you know, he's been
very encouraging and uplifting and and
just really in your face. You got to go
and do this [music] now, you know. So,
that's that's what I need to get myself
through the rest of this day.
Tonight is [music] the night where we
eliminate one person and it's just going
to be two standing. Okay, Bruce. So, I'm
[music] putting everything in in here
for you. Okay.
>> Okay. And your policy is going to start
on it's going to start today once I put
the information in.
>> That's the ultimate end goal for for
today, right? Is I got to finish number
one or number two otherwise I'm living
on a jet plane tomorrow, you know? So,
>> and then um what medications does a
doctor have you on?
>> I [music] didn't do this just for
myself. I did this to show not just
females but everyone that life can suck
sometimes. But, [music] you know, if you
really focus and 1% better that you can
come out on top. And next, after I get
you covered, we need to we need to talk
about [music] Victoria and see if she
needs any coverage, too.
>> You know, someone asked me last
yesterday, what two would you [music]
want to stay in the finale or who do you
want to win? And and I'd be like, I
don't know. It's like having, you know,
three kids and be like, which which one
of these kids are you want to give up
today? It's like none of them. I love
them all.
Results are in. It's time to go over the
results of today. Day five was a big
close day. It was the single best day
we've had in [music] the house so far.
the winner
of day five of the Ultimate Agent
Contest
with six cells for $8,63746 [music]
who is also in the bottom of the last
two eliminations.
Michael Vill.
Give it up for Michael. Awesome job,
buddy. Okay,
>> today's win is great. Yes, having a
coach has gone a long way today. Having
Nate in my ear, he poured into me for 20
minutes. He's like, "I know you need a
dial. I know you need a dial." He's
like, "But you've heard the old saying,
[music] you got to sharpen the axe so
you can go out there and do more work."
Michael, by winning day five, you've
earned two [music] fire tickets to 8%
nation 2022
at the end of July in Dallas. [music] a
total value of $10,000.
So, super excited for you for that.
>> Thank you,
>> dude. Thank you, man. Unbelievable day.
Awesome job. [music] To go from in the
last two, the last two eliminations
to this. What changed? My focus, focus,
and activity went up. Overall, I'm still
not satisfied with my day. So, a win
[music] is a win, right? But this win
doesn't mean anything because tomorrow
it starts all over. Um, but at the end
of the day, I mean, I know that I I left
it all out there. Well, awesome job.
[music] Incredible day. Great job once
again, Mike.
[music]
>> Ladies, down to our final two.
Amanda,
you pushed harder today than I've seen
you [music] push the whole time you've
been here. You're also the improvement
that myself and the mentors have all
noticed in you from
72 [music] 96 hours ago till today and
tonight. Like you've become really
really good and really smooth and you
have a ton of confidence in your [music]
ability at this point.
Patrice,
you're beginning to trust
your self on the [music] phone again and
realize what got you here and what
you're good at. And
you [music] are the possibly the best
one of the best here and one of the best
[music] I've ever seen at building
relationships on the phone and getting
people to trust you. and that's going to
go a long way in everything [music] you
do for the rest of time. So, awesome job
to you both. Okay,
Amanda,
you've been through a lot of [music]
trials and
tribulations in your life as you've
shared.
What will [music] moving forward in this
competition
and not going home quite yet mean to
you? [music] uh things I've taken from
all the mentors and just um keep driving
forward.
So
>> why are you pushing [music] so hard?
>> Mainly just to show my daughters.
That's why I [music] entered this and my
agents, but but mainly my daughters.
>> Kind of impact [music] you think it'll
have on them watching this and watching
their mom do this and push like this and
give it all she has for this? uh a lot
because [music] uh if you want something
bad enough, you just keep working at it.
>> Are you thinking there's a chance that
you can go [music] home tonight?
>> For sure.
Patrice,
single mom who's also [music] overcame a
lot of adversity in your life.
What would it mean to you to [music] not
only continue but to also be crowned the
ultimate [music] agent tomorrow night?
>> What it would really mean is that,
you know, I [music] I've succeeded.
you know, I have went on a [music]
several I've been on several journeys
and I feel like that I have conquered
them and this is [music] just something
else that I would like to conquer.
>> Yeah. What are you [music] feeling right
now as
you sit there and think through this and
talk through this? I'm just thinking to
be honest. Um
I'm I'm really
grateful
for this experience just to be here and
to have the experience, [music] the
exposure
and the mentoring, the coaching.
I mean, [music] even just to share
one-on-one moments with you, you know,
with with Ro, with just everybody. Um,
I'm just [music] grateful for it all and
I know that it's something that is going
to make me so much better.
>> Yeah. Again, [music] today's numbers
were incredibly incredibly
incredibly
close
and they came down [music] to the
absolute wire.
We gave it all.
>> So, the [music] person
who is going home [music]
and being eliminated.
Tonight
is
No one. You're both making it to the
final day.
>> Oh, wa.
>> Oh, girl.
>> Honestly, my heart was pounding out my
chest. I was nervous and, you know, I I
really didn't know if who it was was
going to be. I was nervous that it could
have been me. Our dream or our goal from
shoot the first night we met was [music]
to be the last two girls.
>> Thank you.
>> How does that make you feel? [music]
>> So grateful. Thank you so much.
>> Thank you. [music]
>> What are y'all thinking right now?
>> Done.
I I'm I'm I'm honestly speechless.
My heart was beating so fast.
Mine too.
Tomorrow's numbers
do restart at zero. [music]
However,
since no one was eliminated,
Michael,
you earned a $750 head start [music]
tomorrow,
which means you will start at $750 of
annual premium, while Patrice and Amanda
will start over at zero.
It's the final day.
Do everything [music] you can. Leave it
all on the field.
You can still buy [music] leads. You can
do whatever it takes to win. Get some
[music] rest. Tomorrow's a big day and
tomorrow night and is even bigger night.
We'll see you for day [music] six. Let's
go.
>> But this wind doesn't mean anything
because tomorrow starts all over. And
the twist thrown in today,
it just makes the pressure even that
much more. And now it's [music] time for
me to really focus, come in tomorrow and
put up 10 figure day. [music]
Day six. Welcome to the final day. Y'all
made it to the final day. I think we
should celebrate that, right?
>> I'm very excited. [music] Um I'm full of
so much emotion. I have excited energy.
Just ready to go and crush the day.
[music]
>> I mean, there's excitement, there's
nerves, there's anxiety. We're all
exhausted, you know.
>> That's right. Big day. [music] Awesome
job making it this far. Y'all have
pushed and we just got one more day.
Yesterday, y'all absolutely
cranked on the phones all day. And then
last night,
there was a second where we thought
somebody was going home. And then we
brought all of you back for the finale.
All of you back for the final day to
write as much premium as you possibly
can [music]
today. Michael, what were you thinking
last night? We were debating on who was
going home. Who Who did you want to see
go home last night? Oh,
>> Patrice.
>> I don't want to even say anything about
him. I wouldn't even give him any
energy. [laughter]
>> Amanda, how's that make you feel,
though?
>> Well, I know. I understand why you would
say that, but um I mean, I I
[clears throat] did I have put the most
AP up, so I mean,
>> little flex,
>> little flex on them,
>> calling it out.
>> Patrice is a rock star in her own sense,
but I am [music] Michael's biggest
competition. and I lack 8 and 1/2 years
in this industry compared to him. So
[music] just imagine 8 and 1/2 years
from now and I've been working late all
fe like I [music] haven't even touched
mortgage protection but I'm about to
today. So
>> oh is Michael in trouble today?
>> Not just a little bit a little a lot.
>> I mean if we went by total AP of the
contest for the ultimate agent that'd be
amazing but we know that zero [music]
every day. So,
>> well, you do start over at zero. Michael
has a $750
[music] head start today. I would love
to hear what the mentors have to say
about the final day today.
>> I think you need to pretend you don't
have 750 head start. And actually,
there's more pressure on you now than
anything because if you lose with a 750
head start.
Um, so yeah, I would just been like,
"Hey, take that 750 back. I don't need
it." Cody said, "I would you would have
been crazy to do that." I mean, it's
just it's a it's a final day. You know,
you guys all what I've learned about all
of you is you know what to do on the
final day. You all have it in you have
that other gear. And that's what I'm
excited to see today is that other gear.
And that's that's going to be exciting.
And that's when you leave here and you
can really see what you're capable of.
Your life changes. And this is going to
push you today to show you what you're
really capable of with your run rates
from yesterday. I mean, you're looking
you could be running 90 to $100,000
months.
>> Correct. working 5 days a week.
>> It's exactly right.
>> Did you ever think in your brain like
90,000 months like, "Oh my gosh, if just
look at it, five times five, it's
$100,000 month with weekends off."
>> So, I mean, the sky's is the limit.
>> All right, Roger. Who do you have your
money on today? You have to choose one
that you think is going to win.
>> I I think I think Michael's going to
pull it out today. He's being dominated,
flanked on either side by the two lady
killers over here, cuz that's what they
are, Michael. They're coming for you,
man. Today
we got a couple of additional twist to
throw at you for the final day. The
first twist, there is no agent challenge
and you have uninterrupted time
between now and when we crown the
ultimate agent champion tonight at 8:00.
There is no midday meeting. There is no
midday recording. There is no agent
challenge. you have from now until we
crown the champion tonight. So today, do
everything you can, push as long as you
can, use every single minute you
possibly can because tonight someone is
going to be crowned the ultimate agent.
[music]
>> Today is the it's the finale. You only
get one shot. So here it is.
>> Today's the day, you know. It's This is
it. [music]
>> Massive activity. That's really what's
going to win today is uh just massive
activity and um definitely assuming the
sale. [music]
I mean, what do we have like less than
12 hours until um elimination tonight?
[music] It's going to be assuming the
sale and one call closes. Yeah, you need
to think about it, but the insurance
company [music] needs to think about it
for you. Think about you. So, let's just
submit it, see if it's approved, and go
from there. I haven't comp
adrenaline. [music]
I haven't competed like this in a long
time. The adrenaline's real and I hate
it almost because
I love I get more happiness out of
seeing other people succeed than myself.
And cuz I have, you know, many agents
and only being in this business
18 months compared to, you know, like 10
years. Um, and Patricia is, you know,
newer in this business, too. And to see
our su how successful we've been in this
contest is huge because if I had [music]
10 years in this business, oh, wouldn't
have a chance cuz there's still a lot of
products I don't even know. Most people
they do not ever immerse themselves into
anything. What takes to be successful in
this business to really get the language
to really develop new skills is you got
to put yourself in a situation where you
are immersed all day every day. Nothing
[music] else matters. And once you get
the skills that are going to come out
out of this immersion process, they're
[music] going to be successful for life
in the insurance industry. So I think
that is what's going to show this
industry [music] that if you're willing
to immerse and it wasn't 5 years, wasn't
5 months, wasn't five weeks, five days.
>> And I'm not doing this to talk you into
spending more money than you need
[music] to. But I don't I don't want you
to assume that that you don't want the
best coverage and that you can't afford
it for your family. Okay? So what if I
show you is more than you want to spend?
Just let me know. Okay?
>> It's all down to today. they're going to
have to make strategic decisions of when
to cut their losses and go to the next
opportunity or to stay in the hunt to
try to get this one finished. And I
think that right there, [music] the
people who have the mental toughness and
who can think strategically, those
that's that's the person that's going to
win today. [music]
>> We're going to keep pouring in and
helping people. But one of the things
that's
You're good. What's up?
>> Hey.
>> Sorry.
>> You're good. What's up?
>> Patrice and I have an issue.
>> Okay.
>> Can we keep Nate away from Michael? Cuz
I thought no coaching today and he's
helping him with policies and stuff.
>> I move I did move him. Um,
>> I mean, cuz I even told Patrice actually
text me and and I was upstairs and
[music]
she's like, I thought there was no
coaching today and I said I thought the
same thing.
I
>> mean, it's not fair if you know, we're
just trying to keep it.
>> I agree. [music] I I did tell Nate to uh
to move away
>> cuz he was like directing them for a
higher a like policy.
>> Okay. [music]
>> Like that's
>> and it's a it's it's valid concern. I've
told him to not only um help y'all as
well.
>> Yeah.
>> I think too he's sitting in like the
middle part of the house. So, it's just
like that's where people can hang out.
>> No, I get that.
>> However, um I will make sure that it
doesn't happen anymore.
>> And I even I even told Patrice, I'm
like, I don't want to go out there cuz
that's petty. That sounds petty. But, uh
Patrice [music] is like, "But we're in a
competition." So,
>> we are. And and and if there's anything,
we are totally in a competition. If
there's anything that's ever bothering
you, like we want to know. We want to
address it. We want this to [music] be
as fair as humanly possible.
>> Exactly.
>> It's so difficult already.
>> Um and so I I'll
>> cuz I I love Nate. I really do. And
that's the thing is I don't want to come
across as petty cuz I don't want to be
like h but like he keeps the only he's
not trying to coach me or Patrice. He
just comes up. Oh, what's your numbers?
How many apps? I'm like I'm not telling
him anymore.
>> Yeah. You [music] don't tell anybody.
>> No thanks because No. And I even told
and Patrice said the same thing. I'm not
sharing numbers with him. So that's
>> I will address it and make sure it
doesn't happen again.
>> Please don't say it was me.
>> Is he there right now?
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah,
>> I get it though.
>> I understand it. But I don't know why
Michael
>> if one person feels like someone else is
getting helped more than them. It's
correct. It's not even though it's not
direct coaching.
>> It could be seen as how you're sitting
there helping feed the trees more. Who
cares? That's fine, too.
>> You're too valuable.
>> I'm happy that you're helping. What do
you hope nothing happens when you know
they right now?
>> Mike's not my guy no more.
>> It was yesterday. I mean, it was my day
before. I know, buddy.
>> You're just loud.
>> I Yeah, I understand.
>> I'm really favoritism.
>> I'm not saying you are. You just got to
put yourself in their shoes.
>> I know.
>> No, I I don't believe you have. You help
You helped her crush it.
>> You helped her crush it.
>> Hey, you know what I said when she said
that to me, Nate?
>> Wait, listen. You can't get distracted
by people texting back and forth. You
can't get distracted by Nate what he's
saying. You have to stay in the zone.
That's all you can do. That's all you
can do.
>> What you could have decided is I
understand where you're coming from, but
he's been Hasn't he spent like 20
minutes with you today as well? And
hasn't he's been helping.
>> My priority was not defending you. My
priority was back. Why would that be a
priority to you?
>> All right.
>> Did Roger just kick get kicked out of
SWAT?
>> I'm free to speak at SWAT. I was on your
side. the last day, the tensions [music]
and the emotions are really high. And so
I told Nate and all the mentors to
actually go back to their hotel for the
rest of the day. We got seven more hours
before the before the day ends and
before we release the winner and do the
whole finale and everything else. And so
u they left. We got everybody out of the
house because they [music] any noise,
right? They're trying to make sales.
anybody helps, they're like, "Oh,
[music] I'm not getting that help."
Right? So, I get it. I also really, we
want this to be as fair of an experience
as it possibly can be. I mean, if
Patrice or Amanda asks Nate a question,
[music] he is going to spend some time
with them, you know, like he he likes
being involved in helping people. He
really does. And so, who knows? All I
know is we want to [music] produce the
show with as much integrity and fairness
because of the massive amount of stakes
[music] that are on the line as we
possibly can.
>> What anyone says at the end of the day
doesn't really bother me. It's like I
tell my my agents, right? Whatever
happens on the other end of the phone,
that has nothing to do with you. That's
their day. It's
>> not me [music] trying to be woe is me
cuz that's not me at all. It's just I'm
all about fairness.
Hey, 30 [applause] minutes left. Only 30
minutes left. Let's push strong. Let's
finish strong. You got this. What I'm
doing today, non-stop, relentless. And
I'm not stopping until the very end.
Okay. So, $10,000 is coming in for us at
$41 a month. $12,000 is coming in
[music] at $48 a month. Now, which one
of those fits your needs? and your
budget. [music]
>> The 10,000 is just actually a small
portion of it. It's to uh again show
show people that you [music] uh you can
be in a rut, but if you have the guts to
get out of that rut, you can shine
bright like a diamond if you really
truly [music] focus on 1% better every
day. Because less than 2 and 1/2 years
ago, I I didn't know if I even wanted to
[music] exist anymore because of what I
went through. For me, first and
foremost, it's it's showing that all the
many talents and blessings that that
[music] God has bestowed on me are
finally being put to use in the biggest
way. I I know in my heart that I have
not been doing that, you know, so
there's so much more potential that I
have to be able to to leave a bigger
impact on this world. And this thing is
literally 3 [music] minutes away right
now from being in the books. Stay tuned
for who wins.
>> [music]
>> Welcome to the finale of the ultimate
[music] agent. I want to start out by
letting you know that each and every one
of you are an ultimate agent [music] no
matter what happens tonight, right? Cuz
we have seen you do everything in your
power to help as many people possible
while you're here. [music] So, thank you
for that. You've been absolutely
incredible. Patrice, I would love to
hear how today was
>> from your point of view.
>> Today was it was the culminating event
and it didn't go as I expected, but I
did have some great conversations. So, I
think that today today was really good
because it gave me an opportunity to
[music] kind of test my skills a little
bit, the things that I've been learning.
>> Absolutely. Amanda, how about uh today
for you? How was today for you?
>> It was good. Um, especially [music] when
I left. I think when I left the house, I
didn't leave at all yesterday. [music]
That's actually when my day started
getting better.
>> Good. Good. Sounds like a productive
day.
>> Mhm. [music]
>> Michael, how was today? Day six, the
final day. How was today for [music]
you?
>> Today was an interesting day all the way
around. At the end of the day, I was
close to a,000 [music] dials for today.
I mean, I just kept going and going and
going. I mean, that's more dials than
I've made in a while. Probably in the
last month, you know. That's awesome.
That's great. Patrice, I would love to
hear about your Ultimate Agent
experience, the last 6 days from
beginning to end. [music] How has the
whole Ultimate Agent experience been for
you?
>> It's been a roller coaster. [music] So,
it started out on a high. We were on
that jet, you know, we that was a
beautiful experience, you know, came
here and and and and Friday was I would
say that was the best the best day
because it it kind of set the stage for
what everything else was going to be
like. And so I'll say highs and lows
because, you know, we were learning a
lot of things. We were challenged.
[music]
We were put in uncomfortable positions.
And sometimes, you know, it made me cry,
you know, that I got I got those times
where I was low [music] and just had to
release those feelings, but not crying
in the sense that of like defeat, but
for me, many times it was kind of like
[music] a release all together. I can
say that this was like one of the best
experiences of my life. Like who else
can say that now Cody, Dallas, Nate, and
Roger are their friends? Like I have
their numbers in [music] my cell phone.
I can call them and they'll help me do
anything that I need to do.
>> Yeah.
>> Yes, you can and yes, we will.
>> Yes. I love that. [music] Thank you for
sharing that. Uh Amanda, how was the
entire Ultimate Agent experience for you
from beginning to end?
>> It was amazing. [music] Um I've been
raising babies for the last 21 years. I
haven't really [music] had this type of
experience in a long time, especially,
you know, meeting all of you guys and
learning nuggets. And I love the stuff
like Roger gave us. I, you know, was
using it in like my appointments and
Nate taught me like definitely how to
control, you know, take control. It's
been a great experience [music] for
sure.
>> I love it. Well, we've loved having you
here, Michael. How is the entire
Ultimate Agent Experience [music] been
for you?
>> I mean, it's phenomenal. You know, I I'm
super grateful for just even the
opportunity [music]
to enter
and then be selected and in the manner
that I was selected minutes before my
[music] son's game. The hospitality that
you guys gave to us in Springfield on
the way here the entire time that we've
been here, that is an ultimate
experience in itself, right? I mean, you
guys just had top-notch [music] people
the entire time. I don't know that I
could ever repay you guys for everything
that you guys have taught me. The
experiences with the ladies today and
last night. Yes, we're all competitors,
but at the end of the day, we all do the
same job, right? We help [music]
families. Yeah, that's exactly right.
When you think about insurance agents
and you think about mentors [music] and
coaches and having people pour into your
life, so many agents
need to put aside their [music] ego and
realize they can learn from anyone. And
they need to realize that they can get
help from anyone any time. [music] And
that's what these three did, right? They
showed up. They put their heart, their
effort, and everything [music] into
helping you be better. And so I want to
thank I want to send them off and thank
them for what they've done and [music]
thank them for being the ultimate
mentors that they were over the last 3
days. So Dallas, Nate, and Roger, thank
you [music] so much.
>> Thank you.
And now it is time
to let everyone know
who finished in third [music] place for
the ultimate agent contest.
The person
who finished in third place
in the Ultimate Agent [music]
Contest
is
Patrice Sheepard.
Patrice, I want to tell you that you
[music] care about people. You are an
absolute machine. You are one of the
best people I've [music] ever seen at
selling final expense over the phone.
I'm telling you, you are an absolute
professional at what you do, it's been
phenomenal having you a part of this
[music] ultimate agent experience. And
even though you finished in third and
you're not crowned the ultimate agent, I
thank you. [music] We're all extremely
grateful for you and excited to see the
incredible big things that are coming in
your life.
>> Thank you. I am [music] excited. I'm I'm
excited about being selected. First of
all, before even placing, [music] I'm
just excited that of all the thousands
of agents that enrolled or or enrolled
in the contest, I was one of the five
agents that [music] was selected. So, I
I'm excited about that. Coming in third,
absolutely fantastic. [music]
I learned so much. I grew so much.
Listen, I can't wait to just go forth
and just do great [music] things.
>> Few words you'd like to say directly to
to your son. Hey, [music] Bari. I want
you to know that I love you so much
and I [music] did this for you.
What I want you to know is that you can
do anything that you want to do.
I want you [music] to think big. I want
you to dream big.
You see me right [music] now.
Look at what I'm doing.
It's because of the hard work and
[music] determination.
So this whole thing that I did,
I [music] did this to show you that you
can do whatever you want to do and you
can do whatever you put your mind to.
[music] I love you.
Down to the final two.
Michael,
you care about every [music] single
person you talk to and you are one bad
dude.
>> I have seen you progress in an
incredible way. [music]
So proud of you. So thankful for the
relationship and every single day you
just keep getting better, right? Can't
imagine how [music] many agents you're
going to help with everything you're
doing. Seriously,
Amanda, [music] you are putting in so
many dials. It's unbelievable.
You're also extremely supportive [music]
and positive of all the other
contestants the entire time. You have a
massive heart and you are an [music]
absolute assassin on the phone, a huge
closer and it's been an absolute joy
[music] to get to work with you, to
watch you and to spend
almost every minute of every day for six
days together [music] with you. So,
thank you for everything.
Michael,
how have you benefited from this
whole experience [music] as a person?
>> As a person, I've
I've dug in and I've learned that I need
to learn to take more chances,
step out of my comfort zone. I've been
comfortable for [music] way too long.
And with that, I put myself at a
disadvantage for a few days. What would
you do with the money [music]
if you were crowned the ultimate agent?
>> It all goes back to my team.
You know, that would
it would just pay [music] for more
training, more opportunities,
and a big get together with everyone cuz
they've been so supportive. They've been
running my interviews. They've been
taking care of my clients back home, you
know. So, I know that I have a great
team back [music] home and my family. So
yeah, that's what I would do.
>> It's amazing. Amanda,
what do you what do you think [music]
winning would do for you, your family,
and your career?
>> My girls were front [music] row seat to
my demise,
and now they get to be front row seat to
my rise. So,
>> and uh I'm going to put it in the
universe. That's the name of my book of
someday.
>> I love that. What have you personally
[music] gained from the Ultimate Agent
experience?
>> Definitely coming out of my comfort zone
for [music] sure. Um, typically I'm in
my zone by myself in my office and
[music] um, having to be around people
and distractions cuz I am a little add
squirrel [music] um, and half deaf. So,
it's hard to focus with that. But, it's
I I had to figure it out.
I know you shared that
you have some [music] plans if you were
to win. What would you do with the money
if you were crowned [music] the ultimate
agent?
>> One of uh my best friends in this
business [music]
lost her husband recently
had a guaranteed issue because of his
[music] health and um as we know that's
just premiums back. I already um I have
learned through [music] life what you
put or what you put in the universe
comes back to you tenfold. And the day
that I submitted the video to [music]
you guys
um was 2 days after they took her
husband off of life [music] support. I
told her I said if you allow me to use
[music] his story because he's one of
those people a lot of people our
rebuttals are oh I have life insurance
through work. Well, that was him
>> and then [music] he got sick and now he
doesn't qualify. I said, "If you allow
me to use that story, I want to give you
half of the winnings."
And she's like, "Oh [music] my god, you
do not have to do that." And like I've
been pushing her GoFundMe just to try to
get it just because those medical bills,
I mean, he [music] had three transplants
before he died. So, no money for a
funeral and lots of medical bills. Life
[music] insurance is so important
because it gives you time to grieve your
best the loss of your best friend. Um
because it's not easy. [music]
You're you're broken and uh she needs
time to grieve her best friend of
[music] 27 years. So I'm super excited
about the opportunity [music] to do that
for her.
>> Sure. Wow. Thank you for sharing that.
Before we announce [music] the winner, I
want to let both of you know that you
may not realize it right now, but the
amount [music] of lives that you are
impacting and helping and changing from
all the people [music] that are watching
around the world
means more than anything else [music]
you could ever do.
And we've helped a lot of families in
the Nebraska in the state of Nebraska
the last six days. [music]
And we've also shown what any agent in
the world when they put their mind to it
can accomplish. So, thank you all for
being [music] an incredible example for
all the people tuning in from around the
world.
We're finally
about to announce the winner
of the first Ultimate [music]
Agent Contest.
The winner will receive over $100,000
in prizes [music]
and $10,000
cash.
and the winner
of the Ultimate [music] Agent Contest
with a total contest premium
of $34,477.92
[music]
is
[music]
Amanda Lunsford.
>> [music]
>> I just rose from the ashes for sure.
>> Ultimately, I'm happy. I'm excited.
Super grateful.
And I'm blessed for the experience. When
Amanda and I first got selected, you
know, [music] we we talked on Facebook
and exchanged numbers and from day one,
we said, "A girl has got to win."
Because I feel like a girl winning is
like a a win for all of us. For all of
us, everything that she stands for, you
know, all her hopes, her dreams, want to
be that example. when I have hard days,
and [music] there was hard days
Saturday, Sunday, there's, you know,
cold out in Omaha and stuff. Um, I truly
know that my dad and my son can see me
from above and I fight like a Dickens
every day to make them proud of me.
Ladies and gentlemen, as we turn on the
lights and as we congratulate the winner
of the Ultimate Agent Contest.
The winner of the Ultimate Agent Contest
season 1 is
>> Amanda Lford. [screaming]
[cheering]
Thank you.
>> Congratulations, Amanda. What does it
mean to now be crowned in front of the
entire insurance industry
[screaming]
>> as the ultimate agent winner of season
1.
>> It means a lot. It It really means a lot
because uh 1% better, baby. That's what
got me here. I just didn't give up. So,
means a lot. Thank you. [applause]
[cheering]
>> There we go.
[applause]
>> What is this whole experience?
What does this whole experience really
mean to you over those six days
together, the months you had to wait to
actually share this with the world? What
does this whole experience mean to you?
It it means um that well like I just
said the 1% better but it means that
anyone the the people that I've ran into
the last couple days the one thing they
keep saying to me that I'm so thankful
for because that's exactly what I wanted
when I entered the cont contest is that
I inspired you guys
>> because many people on this stage today
inspired me. So I love that I can
inspire people because that's truly all
it is. just don't uh belief is powerful.
Uh it's huge. I no longer don't believe
in myself.
>> Amen.
>> So, [cheering]
[applause]
>> how are you feeling in this moment as
it's all finally coming [laughter] to a
culmination and we're releasing you as
the winner? How's this feeling right
now?
>> I can scream it from the rooftops, baby.
>> Right.
It was hard work. I'm not going to lie.
Lots of hard work.
>> Yeah. You said hard work. Talk about the
experience and how hard it was. Maybe
things that they they weren't able to
see behind the scenes. We had days of
footage. We only used hours worth, you
know, like there was a lot that
happened. Talk through like daily
leading up to the end. Y'all didn't get
a lot of sleep.
>> No. Two hours a night.
>> Two hours a night for a week.
>> Yes.
>> You had to work every single day. You
put in so many dials.
>> Yes.
>> You talked to so many people. You helped
so many families.
>> Yes.
>> What was that whole thing like? I mean,
you no sleep work. How did you handle it
mentally?
>> Um thankful for my my my many calls to
my husband just for that, you know,
kicked myself in gear. Um uh the first
two days that we were there, I had never
done insurance in home. I got um
licensed October 2020 during the
pandemic. So 100% telesells and it was
what 50 60 mph winds in Omaha when we
were doing in home.
>> Yes, it was. We tried to film some
footage outside, but it was so windy we
weren't even able to.
>> Yeah. I've actually had people tell me,
you know, when you were walking from the
hanger to the plane, did they have fans
on you? And I'm like, no, that was the
wind. Like no fans. But um yeah, so the
inh home was so when we were able to do
our choice virtual or in home or yeah in
home that's when things changed for me
because that's what I was used to you
know so the whole experience was coming
out of my comfort zone. Um a lot of
people don't even know this. Three weeks
after having a major my first major
surgery in my whole life uh Cody says
hey are you ready to do the contest? And
I'm like, "What?" I figured by
submitting into the contest, we'd be a
couple months out.
>> Uh, but no, it was three weeks after a
major surgery. So,
>> wow.
>> Yeah. My dad, you know, I, you know,
love my father to death. Miss him
dearly, but he still drives me in this
in my life. Um, everything I do, um, my
dad and my son can see me from above.
So, I'm always given 110%. So,
>> yes, you [cheering] are.
>> [applause]
[applause]
>> What was something about the show that
nobody knows? Like they weren't able to
see it. Like behind the scenes there
were certain things happening. So much
footage that was that was recorded. I
mean GoPros in your car, camera in your
face, miked up 247 hours a day, right?
Like it was crazy. Uh two hours of
sleep. Like if you look back, what were
some of the things that stood out that
you went through and that you saw or
certain situations or stories that maybe
the audience isn't totally aware of?
>> Um well uh one of my actually my
favorite stories of Omaha, I call her my
Omaha mama. Um and she was actually
going to be here, but her first grandson
was just born. Um, she's a client I sold
on Sunday, so second day in. And she
came through with referrals on the last
day. That probably got me this. So, the
power of referrals is huge.
>> Yes.
>> So, never um never don't be a secret
agent. That's what I tell all my agents.
Uh, tell everyone. Doesn't matter if
you're recruiting them or if you're
selling to them because they they don't
know unless you keep reminding them. So,
>> ladies and gentlemen, give it up for our
winner one more time, Amanda Ludsford.
>> Thank you guys. [cheering]
[applause]
>> I want the other four contestants to
join us and I'll line up right here
facing our main camera on the north end
and I want to go down the down the uh
row and and get some feedback from each
of you on your experience, what this was
like. We're going to start with Michael
Vhill. If you enjoyed watching Michael,
give Michael Vill a hand. [cheering]
What was this whole experience like to
you?
>> Well, for starters, I mean, you guys
just you guys treated us so well from
the get-go
>> with the phone calls, the texts,
everything like that leading up to it,
making sure we were taken care of.
>> So, going into it, it felt really
comfortable, right? Cuz I we got this
major support team behind us, Cody
Haskins team. If you guys haven't
experienced it, it's awesome. You guys
can see it around here today.
And then flying over in the jet was was
awesome, right? Um
>> I talked with Landon pretty much the
entire time, you know, uh game planning
a few different things for the future.
And then when we got there, it was just
like it was intense.
>> It you know, like like the lady said,
they slept two hours. I think I slept a
little bit more. Um but uh [laughter]
>> it wasn't a normal sleeping schedule,
that's for sure.
>> No, no, definitely not. You know, um and
then just every day was every day was
different. Every day was different. And
for me, um, I had been in building mode
for the last couple years, so I I wasn't
really in the field doing a doing a
whole lot of stuff, you know, and I
mean, I still don't know. I I honestly
don't know why they selected me.
[laughter]
Um, but I I'm happy for the experience,
guys. I mean, it's just if you guys
um have the opportunity to apply for
season 2, definitely apply for season
two because it will change your life.
>> It definitely does.
>> Boom. Who would love to be a part of
season two out there?
>> [applause]
[laughter]
>> No, Johnny is disqualified.
>> Johnny's disqualified.
>> No season two.
>> Y'all also built a bond. I mean,
obviously it's a reality TV show. We
Yeah, they're they're friends now,
right? [laughter] Like the friend shirt,
>> most have seen it, but like episodes
five and six,
>> there's some there's some there's some
drama,
>> right? There's some drama. There's some
there's some riff there.
It's a competition.
>> It's competition. personal.
>> Talk about that how you're Patrice who
loved Patrice Shepard on the show.
>> Talk about the competition because it is
at the end of the day still a
competition. All five of these
individuals, these contestants are
extremely competitive.
>> At the end of the day, it was a
competition. You know what you see? I
It's a reality show, right? And we were
in reality. Oh, yeah.
>> Like nothing was scripted.
>> 24-hour cameras. Well, 18-hour cameras
in your face, GoPros. It was a
competition. and we all wanted to win.
So what you saw and then Dylan and Keith
have a amazing way of
of bringing out things and and making it
real reality, right? [clears throat]
>> You know, and so that's what made it
really cool, honestly. We're all
friends. We're all good. It's no hard
feelings at all, but it was awesome.
Yeah.
>> Awesome experience.
>> Yeah. Good. Well, we loved having you on
it. You were like such an amazing heart.
So many people loved watching you, which
was so cool. As you look back over this
experience,
what's it been like since
>> Oh, wow.
>> What, three months or so have passed?
Since we recorded the final episode, now
90 days later, we're live on stage at 8%
right in front of a couple thousand
people. As you think through that, what
has happened since then? What's this
experience been like because you were a
part of the ultimate agent? So the very
first thing is that you know we had
amazing mentors.
>> Amazing mentors and they poured
something something different into each
one of us.
>> Yes.
>> So every mentor had a specific skill set
and they gave us everything that they
had for that skill set. So of course you
know we're learning so many new things.
We're in an uncomfortable environment.
All of it you can't use then in that
moment. But what I have found is that
since being on the show, I can find
myself, you know, doing something and
I'm like, David Price taught me that,
>> you know, Nate taught me that, Dallas
taught me that.
>> But there's one particular mentor that
stood out for me.
>> Because what this mentor did is spoke to
my heart,
>> like spoke to my soul. And I can say
there were probably some times when we
should have been talking about selling
and we weren't. What we were talking
about is Patrice, what do you what is it
that you want to do?
>> What impact do you want to leave for the
world? What kind of legacy do you want
to build? Like what is that? That mentor
for me guys was Roger Short.
>> That's cool. That's awesome. [cheering]
>> I want to thank you, Roger, for
for pouring into me, [applause]
for speaking, and for coaching my soul.
M
>> because of what he did when it was time
for me to, you know, when I got
eliminated and when it was time for me
to give my speech, then what I ended up
doing, I was like, "Okay, well, uh, he
asked me the question, you know, well,
how do you feel or what do you want to
say?" And I ended up giving a speech to
my son. Oh, wow.
>> Telling him how much I loved him, that
he could do anything. And for me, what
this show has been, Cody, and I want to
thank you because this is a part of my
legacy. Yeah. because that message to my
son is going to live forever.
>> So, I'm grateful. I'm humbled. I'm
honored. And I'm
>> Give it up for Patrice Sheepard.
>> So good. [applause]
So good. Thank you so much. You're
awesome. You're amazing.
>> All right. Moon Thomas
[laughter]
>> with Cody.
>> What do you Who loved Moon Thomas'
energy on this?
>> Oh [screaming and cheering] my god.
>> So much energy. So positive. Are you are
you just naturally like that every
single day? And
>> I just I know the answer for sure.
>> Yes. That's just who I am. Like what you
saw on TV. And I'm glad that that Dylan
and Keith actually captured that. That
is who I am. And I wanted to represent
myself well on TV because I thought it
was a contest.
>> I thought it was just a way for me not
to have to go back to work. But
[laughter] literally, literally it
turned into something way way bigger
than that. I mean, huge. So, when you're
talking about expanding your vision, I
had no idea.
>> That's amazing. Yeah, that's amazing.
Um, what's the experience been like
since?
>> Well, I will say that I learned my
number one lesson from you from the
contest.
I have shared this a million times, but
I was more mad that I lost the social
media challenge than the whole contest.
[laughter]
>> Is that a is that a big regret for you?
That is my biggest regret because
you really that you everybody's thinking
that this is just a challenge. It wasn't
a challenge. These are like real life
things that you were teaching us through
the show and if you're a independent
agent which means you work for yourself,
you need to let people know what you're
doing and if you're not saying that on
social media like how are they supposed
to find out? So
I never even had a Tik Tok before this
contest. I only got a Tik Tok account so
I can enter into the contest.
>> And now like my most recent video has
almost 10,000 views.
>> I'm like that's crazy.
>> Wow.
>> I just [applause] like and it's all
really because you told me one thing and
you said
Moon of all the people you did the most
on social media during this challenge. I
cannot believe that you didn't win this.
And that just was like my daddy was
telling me like I was like I didn't do
something. I felt like a kid like oh my
god. I mean I let Cody down. You know
what I'm saying? But that really but you
said imagine how much further you would
have been if your page was not private.
So from that day of the cont
my page has been public and I've gotten
over 4,000 followers since that.
>> And it's crazy.
>> So awesome.
>> Wow. [applause]
So, I'm going to utilize my social media
to get my word out, to build my legacy,
to build my brand, and I'm just being a
regular mom, wife, business owner, and
I'm just in letting y'all in. And it's
just like this is like going really fast
and far, but it's exciting.
>> So good. Ladies and gentlemen, Moon
Thomas,
[applause]
>> get it, girl.
Johnny Nathan is in the building, ladies
and gentlemen. Who love Johnny on the
show?
>> Johnny,
>> dude came out swinging with so much
confidence. Like, it shocked the world.
It really did. When you went home day
four, right? And Dylan even caught the
clip of you saying, "Hey, dude. I'm not
going home doing everything." [laughter]
You didn't think you were either.
>> No.
>> Naturally. Maybe at the end of the day,
you did.
>> Yeah. Yeah,
>> but dude, you pushed through that.
>> What did you learn specifically through
this experience?
>> Yeah, I think uh I mean honestly, I just
want to first and foremost thank
everybody for watching the show.
>> Seriously, guys, like this couldn't have
been what it has become without you guys
like watching, supporting it. Really,
seriously means the world. Like the
messages, the people that have like
talked to me here. Like each and every
one of you guys took the energy out of
your day to be able to talk to me. Like
at the end of the day, like I'm just
super grateful for everybody like just
to even watch the show and support it.
Um the show was was amazing. It was like
all over the place, right? Um and and it
was an amazing experience because going
into the industry like I I remember one
distinct moment. I uh just wrote an app.
It was Saturday night, the second day.
Um, so like Patrice ended up taking
first that day, but I remember after
that app I was at about like 2,000
something. Um, and I was talking to Nate
Offer and uh, he's like, "Dude, like
2,000 two 2500 like bro, you should be
at 10,000 right now." And I was like,
"Dude, and I I went up right after that
went to Cody and I was like, dude, like
this show has already broken some
limiting beliefs that I had."
>> Yes. And um like even for since the
show, dude, like I feel like getting out
of the pressure cooker, getting into
real life, being able to build actually
my systems out, being more than five
weeks out like into the business now,
like about five almost six months now.
Like I've just been able to get into a
lot better groove and I I think from the
experience, I honestly learned so much
like put yourself out there. I like when
people ask me massive urgency.
>> Yeah. Um, and I think Jesse talked about
that so so good yesterday of like what I
learned on the show that like literally
we can like do this every single day. We
really can be the ultimate agent every
single day if we choose to have the
massive urgencies like and see every day
like we're time's running out. And so
that's one of the biggest things I
learned on the show.
>> Good. So good.
How has being a part of this experience
really helped your network?
>> Oh, bro, [laughter]
>> dude, like I feel very honored
>> and blessed. Seriously.
>> Um, I feel like in this moment, I was
thinking about it. I'm like, I wouldn't
be where I am today if I didn't get on
the show,
>> right? And I think going back even
further, like a little back in time
before that, like when I heard about the
Ultimate Agent, literally like you I
don't know if you guys ever get this,
but you guys in like right before you're
about to go to bed and you have like a
massive idea and you're like you can't
sleep. That was me. So right when the
show got released or show got released
and you could get into this contest,
Cody released it in the the Rising Stars
mastermind. And uh right before I'm
going to bed, I'm uh sitting with my
wife Bailey and we're just talking and
I'm like, "So, this happened today. Uh
there's a contest that we could get a
flown on a private jet. You could win
$121,000."
Like, imagine how life-changing this
could be for us.
>> And I was like, I'm just going to go all
out, honestly. Like, seriously. and just
the network that I've been able to get
from the show to be able to have Nate
Offer, Roger Short, Brian Asins, you
like to be able to get all these people,
David Price, like literally I remember
this moment and I'll never forget this
moment because how I found out about
Cody was because of your YouTube
channel.
>> And I was like, bro, I really like I I I
just I really want to work with you
somehow someway in Febru in January. So,
I remember getting on the Rising Stars
mastermind second time. I was like, "Yo,
Cody, we're gonna work together this
year. I want to get coached by you." And
you're like, "All right, bro." Like,
"Cool." Like, "Thanks, Shaunie. All
right, back to like the speaker." And
so, right. And [laughter] so, so that's
happening, right? And so that happens
and this show comes out and I because of
his YouTube like you guys probably know,
write down your goals. Write down your
goals. So, I started writing down my
goals every single day. What my goals
are.
the third day when we get back. I just
finished an like that was the the day
that ended with like six 6,000
something. Get to the room uh or like
the the Airbnb. We're sitting up there.
You guys could feel like just the
excitement getting there. Roger Shorts
there. People are like he's like, "Dude,
who are you?" I'm like, "Bro, you're
Roger Short." Like you're talking to me,
bro. Like, so I'm like I'm excited. get
up there dialing a little bit and Cody
walks up and uh he's writing in the
journal,
>> right?
>> And um I'll never forget like I I looked
over I just got off the call and I was
like, "Are you what are you doing? Like
are you journaling or what are you
doing?" And uh he's not just getting
ready for the night show and he's like,
"Actually, I write down my goals in
this."
>> I love that.
>> And I was like, "Bro, like I was like,
can I look in? Like can I see?" And um
I'll never forget it because seeing like
his handwriting, his his dreams,
visions, I'm like that's like it has
inspired me so much because I wouldn't
have wr started writing down my goals
every single day if it weren't for you.
And like I was like, bro, that that was
that moment like will will stick with me
for the rest of my life because to know
that my number one role model for the
past like 6 months obsessing like five
to 10 videos a day, like I've probably
watched 50 to 75% of his videos at this
point. Like
>> being able to like literally like have
that connection, I think that like is
going to stick with me for the rest of
my life.
>> Yeah,
>> brother. Appreciate you, man. I love
being with you. Ladies and gentlemen,
Johnny Nitan.
[applause]

>> Lesie is awesome. Thank you. You rock.
