BIG WW GROCERY HAUL FOR WEIGHT LOSS - WEIGHT WATCHERS POINTS INCLUDED!
Watch on YouTubeVideo summary
The video features a weekly grocery haul from a local Kroger store, focusing on budget-friendly options suitable for weight loss and Weight Watchers points tracking. The total spending came to just over $106, which notably excludes a forty-pack of water. A significant portion of the shopping trip was dedicated to meal prepping and stocking up on produce, including organic apples in individual packets, grapes, strawberries, squash, sweet potatoes, carrots, peppers, and various frozen items like peas and corn. The host also purchased a gallon of whole milk for her partner, Troy, emphasizing its less processed nature, alongside beef broth and a variety of fresh fruits intended for desserts and snacks.
To keep meals simple and quick, the haul includes several convenient pantry staples and frozen goods. Items such as angel food cake, reduced-price margarita pizzas, and frozen meatball and supreme pizzas were selected to provide easy dinner solutions that Troy can customize with extra toppings like pepperoni or cheese. The host also restocked on essential ingredients like black beans, corn, sour cream, pumpkin puree, ketchup, pickles, and cottage cheese cups, which she prefers over tub versions for their convenience as a high-protein snack. Additionally, she bought shredded sharp and Mexican blend cheeses, noting that the larger bags offer significantly better value per dollar compared to smaller packages.
The shopping list also addressed running low on specific items by purchasing smoked turkey breast for sandwiches and a large quantity of potatoes for upcoming recipes. The host highlighted her love for cheese and apples, often pairing them as a favorite snack, while also grabbing pre-cut squash and individual apple packs to make eating on the go or packing lunches for children easier. She specifically mentioned enjoying a blueberry, cheese, and honey-coated almond bar earlier in the day, praising its nutritional profile with 190 calories and 7 grams of protein, demonstrating how she balances indulgence with her health goals.
Looking ahead to the week's menu, the host outlined plans for Shepherd's pie baked potatoes, butternut squash muffins for meal prep, sweet potato taco bowls for lunch, and a pumpkin spice coffee cake for dessert. She expressed excitement about these fall-themed dishes, particularly the idea of serving sliced strawberries with sugar as a sauce over angel food cake topped with whipped cream. The video concludes by inviting viewers to stay tuned for Tuesday to see the full recipes demonstrated, tying together the grocery haul with practical cooking plans designed to simplify weekly eating while maintaining a focus on nutrition and cost-effectiveness.

So, here is my grocery haul for the week
from my local fry store, a Kroger store.
What you don't see is a 40 pack of
water, and my total was just over $100.
I think it was 106.
I did pick up a gallon of whole milk for
Troy. He said that he wants to switch
over to whole milk just because it's
less processed. So, I grabbed that. some
beef broth for a recipe. After the
grocery haul, you will see what's on my
menu for dinner this week. And for
Tuesday's meal prep, I did get an angel
food cake. This was reduced to $2.40. I
thought that would be a really good
light dessert. Put some strawberries on
there, maybe some whipped cream. Haven't
had angel food cake in so long, so I'm
excited about that. I also got this
classic margarita pizza. This was
reduced to $3.15.
love these flatbread pizzas. And again,
these are really great, easy meals for
Troy. He can throw in some pepperoni,
some extra cheese, doctor it up, and
have a perfect meal. Then I did get a
couple of frozen pizzas as well. We
always just like to have these in the
freezer. These are on digital coupon for
$3.99, $3.49. So I got a meat and a
supreme. I needed some black beans as
well as a can of corn. We are out of
sour cream. that big one that I bought
at I think it was Sam's Costco. That
one's gone. So, we needed sour cream for
some recipes this week. Also, a can of
100% pure pumpkin. And then these were
on sale if you buy five $1.99 a piece,
which I love these. I actually ate one
on my way home from my workout this
morning. So, this one's blueberries,
cheese, and like a honeycoated almond.
Really good. And then this one is the
one I ate this morning. It's grapes,
blueberries, cheese, and regular
almonds. These were really good. 190
calories, 7 g of protein, 210 calories,
9 g of protein. Perfect. Perfect snack.
Picked up a thing of ketchup because we
used the rest of it when I made the
meatloaf in Wednesday's what I eat in a
day. And then Troy said we were out of
pickles. So, I always grab two jars, one
for the fridge, one for the pantry. So,
I grabbed two of the Mount Olive kosher
dill spears, two of the Good Culture
little cottage cheese cups. This will be
easy for me as a snack before I before I
go live. It'll be a really good way to
get in some protein. And you know, I
always say that the cottage cheese in
the cups is better than the cottage
cheese in the tub. I don't know why, but
it is. So, I picked up two of those.
Some simply potatoes for my meal prep.
Lots of cheese. I actually need it for
several recipes. So, a big bag of
shredded sharp and a big bag of Mexican
blend. By the way, the little bag is $2.
The big one is only $2.99. So, 99 cents
more, you get like three times as much
cheese. So, a much better deal. I did
get some of the Welsh allnatural smoked
turkey breast. We are almost out of
lunch meat. I've been doing a half a
sandwich a lot. It's been a really,
really easy lunch for me. So, I got some
more turkey. I picked up a fourack of
ravioli for Troy. Again, easy, quick
meals, bat soup. He relies on those a
lot. And everything else is produce.
Lots of produce this week, so surprise
to nobody. I picked up some more grapes.
This organic apple, five apple packs,
was on sale for 202. I love apples and
cheese, apples and peanut butter. One of
my favorite snacks. And this makes it
easy because they're already in like
little individual packets. You can even
take them on the go. Put them in your
kids lunch. love them. I needed frozen
peas and frozen corn. I got some
strawberries for the angel food cake. I
think what I'm going to do is slice
these up, put them in just a little bit
of sugar, so you get a sauce and then
put it on the angel food cake with some
whipped cream. Some squash for a recipe.
I don't want to cut it up. So, buying it
pre-cut up, game changer. A fourack of
rusted potatoes. This is for my meal
prep. I actually got two singles as
well. So, I had a total of six. One
lime, one avocado, bananas, of course. I
got a couple of bulk carrots for a
recipe, couple of sweet potatoes, grape
tomatoes, and then a threeack of
peppers, all for recipes and meal prep
this week. So, that is everything that I
picked up. Let's jump into what's for
dinner and meal prep. So, here's what's
on my menu for dinner. So, I'm going to
do a shephardd's pie baked potatoes. I'm
actually kind of excited for this.
That's what I got all the potatoes for.
You will see that recipe in Wednesday's
what I eat in a day. And then for my
meal prep, I am making butternut squash
muffins. Cannot wait. Lunch is going to
be sweet potato taco bowls. And then for
dessert, we're bringing in fall with
some pumpkin spice coffee cake. Stay
tuned on Tuesday for all three recipes.
