BIG WW GROCERY HAUL FOR WEIGHT LOSS - WEIGHT WATCHERS POINTS INCLUDED!!
Watch on YouTubeVideo summary
The video features a weekly grocery haul from a local Kroger store, where the host shares her shopping strategy focused on weight loss and utilizing Weight Watchers points. Although some items like Gatorade Zero and organic eggs are not visible in the footage due to storage issues or accidental breakage, the total spend after applying coupons and discounts was $145. The shopping trip included a mix of essentials for her partner Troy, such as razors, burger patties, ground beef for sloppy joes, and various frozen meals like lasagna, alongside items specifically selected for her own meal prep needs.
A significant portion of the haul consists of fresh produce and pantry staples chosen for their value and nutritional content. The host took advantage of sales to buy 50% off apple fritters to satisfy a craving while maintaining portion control, purchased raspberries at a low cost with a coupon, and stocked up on grapes and mandarin oranges for her family. She also selected smaller vegetable trays to ensure less waste, grabbed fresh herbs like chives, and bought specific ingredients like buttermilk, cream cheese, and shredded cheddar that are required for upcoming recipes. Additionally, she acquired canned goods such as crescent roll dough and strawberry pie filling to streamline future cooking sessions.
The video concludes with a preview of the week's menu, which includes a copycat Cracker Barrel meatloaf paired with mashed potatoes for dinner on Wednesday. For meal prep, the host plans to make Monte Cristo pinwheels to serve with eggs for breakfast and a BLT pasta salad for lunch. The week will also feature a no-bake strawberry lasagna as a dessert option to help end the summer season. Viewers are encouraged to tune in on Tuesday for detailed instructions on all three recipes, highlighting how these meals align with her goals of easy cooking and healthy eating.

So, here is my grocery haul for the week
from my local fry store, which is a
Kroger store. What you don't see is
eight is six eight packs of Gatorade
Zero. Those are in the garage fridge.
They were buy three get three free,
which makes them $5 a piece, which is a
killer deal. And also what you don't see
is a 18 pack of organic eggs because
they fell out of the back of my car onto
the garage floor and about a third of
them broke. So I just brought them in,
put them in the refrigerator. So I did
buy an 18 pack of [clears throat]
organic eggs and my total was $145
after coupons. The first thing I picked
up are some razors for Troy per his
request. I did get some bow tie pasta.
This is for a recipe after the grocery
haul. I'll let you know what is on my
menu for dinner as well as what you're
going to see in Tuesday's meal prep. I
needed two containers of whipped
topping. This is for my meal prep.
Bacon. I always buy fully cooked. It is
so much easier. So much easier. The
weather here is finally cooling down and
Troy wants to do a little bit more
barbecuing. So, I picked up this fourack
of burger patties. That'll be a great
easy meal for him. And then of course 2
lbs of the ground beef. Perfect again
for Troy when I make him sloppy joe's
spaghetti, things like that for easy
meals for him. Speaking of easy meals, I
will say the chicken Alfredo, the frozen
one that we bought last week, the Kroger
brand, I didn't like it, but Troy did.
However, the private selection lasagna,
fantastic. So this week we're going to
try the Ra lasagna. And this was on sale
for $9.99.
I got these little snack packs. They
were on sale and it is a bread, grapes,
cheese, and chicken salad. And I know
there's a good amount of protein in
there, too. So, I thought that would be
a quick, easy lunch. I did get these
little baby mini sugar cookies for the
week. And then I have been actually
craving apple fritters, and I thought
this would be perfect. These were both
on sale, 50% off, by the way. I'm just
going to have half and that will satisfy
my apple fritter craving. I got a big
container of Bob Evans mashed potatoes
for a dinner recipe. They had zero of
Troy's zerocalorie tea. None. So, we're
going to have to do a Walmart pickup.
So, I picked up this small gold peak
just to get him by. And then I needed
buttermilk also for a recipe. For some
canned goods, I got these cinnamon
rolls. We're going to try these. I don't
know. They sound good for a breakfast.
Maybe do like eggs, bacon, and some
cinnamon rolls on the weekend. I don't
know. They sounded good, so I grabbed
them. And then I also needed two cans of
crescent roll dough for my meal prep, as
well as two cans of strawberry pie
filling, ham and turkey, also for my
meal prep. And then, of course, for
sandwiches. These are on sale for $3.99
this week, which is a great deal. So, I
got ham and turkey. I also needed some
cream cheese for a recipe. And of
course, if you know, you know. We go
through lots of cheese around here. So,
I got a big bag of shredded sharp
cheddar. I actually need this for two
different recipes this next week. So, it
was a better deal to buy the big bag.
And then the Kroger brand cheese is
marked down permanently to two bucks,
which is a great deal. So, I got KBY
Jack for sandwiches. And then I needed
Swiss for a recipe. I got a little baby
veggie tray for $3, the organic one. We
don't eat all the tomatoes typically in
the big one or the carrots. So, unless
it's a really good deal, these small
ones are just a better deal for us
because we actually eat everything. So,
I picked that up. Raspberries were only
$2 a pack and then I had a coupon. So, I
ended up paying just about two bucks for
two packs, which is fantastic. And then
I got the motherload of grapes because
we've been eating grapes like crazy.
Literally like crazy. So, I picked up
two bags. And then Troy goes through a 5
lb bag of these every week, the little
baby mandarin. So, I grabbed another 5
lb. Bananas for him, of course, and a
watermelon per his request for fruit. I
did get some grape tomatoes for a
recipe, as well as some fresh chives,
romaine lettuce, and a green pepper. So,
that is everything that I picked up for
the week. Again, my total was $145 after
coupons, discounts. Let's jump into
what's on my menu for dinner and meal
prep. So, here's what's on my menu for
the week. So, I am making a copycat
Cracker Barrel meatloaf. That is what I
bought the mashed potatoes for. I'm
actually really excited about this. You
will see it in Wednesday's what I eat in
a day. And then on my meal prep this
week, I'm doing a Monte Cristo pin
wheelel. I think that'll be perfect to
pair with some eggs for breakfast. And
then for lunch, we really enjoyed having
that pasta salad this last week. So, I'm
going to do a BLT pasta salad. And then
for dinner is go or for dessert is going
to be strawberry lasagna. I'm actually
really excited. This is a no bake recipe
kind of to end out summer. So stay tuned
on Tuesday for all three recipes in my
meal prep.
