BEST MAKEUP OF 2026...so far

the absolute best makeup of 2026 so far. Ladies and gentlemen, I test makeup for a living. I've tested already hundreds of products this year, and I have narrowed down the best of the best makeup products that I have tried this year. Now, I am like a month late to filming this video. It was supposed to go live the beginning of July, but I was out of town. But in that month, there's already products that I wanted to add, but I'm holding off for end of year to see if those end up sticking around because I did pick these products in June when I scripted out this video and what products I wanted to talk about. Better late than never, but I picked these products out a month ago on time. Just didn't get the filming done on time. Anyways, you don't care. With testing beauty being my job, I love to do a midyear roundup to take a look at everything that I've tried and pick out the products that I've actually been using and loving. Majority of these products are new to the market. There's a couple of items that aren't new, but I've just come to love this year, but all of these are the products that I find myself going back for when it comes to putting on my makeup and feeling and looking my best. So, let's go ahead and get started. [music] Let's talk about brushes. This was the year that I fell in love with Morphe brushes. They are so good. What a comeback this brand has made. Particularly, I think the best brushes that they make are blush brushes. Now, I'm stupid because I put these aside to talk about and then I didn't end up reaching for them in the demos because I reached for my brush cup and these weren't in the brush cup. But just know, even though I didn't demo them, these are the best blush brushes because they create blush brushes that aren't too dense. And while the entire range of the Morphe brushes are a great affordable pickup, they're like a little bit more expensive than drugstore, but I still consider them an affordable brand. If you go to Ulta and you want some brushes that aren't extremely expensive, I definitely recommend Morphe as the go-to. But I want to point out some of my favorite blush brushes. In particular, the M201 is incredible because it has this slant which just fits the cheeks so naturally. And as you can see, it's not dense at all. So, it's perfect for applying powder blush because it's not going to make the blush patchy. It really is just applying a veil of that blush. Especially now with most people, what is trendy with blushes is to put a cream down first and then a powder blush. You might often find that if you use too dense of a blush brush, it deposits too much color and can actually cause a more patchy application, but a nice loose brush, soft brush like this is going to apply it more airbrushed. So, I definitely recommend this one. They also have the M202, which they just launched with their new Cloud Light blushes, which these are brand new, so I haven't used them enough to put them in this video, but I think these might be a contender for end ofear favorites. But anyways, this brush is really nice. It's slightly more dense than the M202, but again, really nice for applying powder. Another one that's a little bit more dense if you're solely a powder user is the M244, but it still is nice and soft and applies really airbrushed. So, any of their brushes are amazing, but in particular this year, the cheek brushes that they have are incredible. So, unfortunately, didn't demo them, but just know I'm demoing them in every other video. There is one new primer this year that I've discovered that I cannot put down. And the best part is it is extremely affordable. This is from Essence. This is their bouncy plump smoothing primer. And typically, I'm not that into smoothing primers. I think that they don't really work that well honestly when it's all said and done. Like they might smooth right away, but it doesn't really do much when I get all my products over top. But this one I feel like really does smooth my face. It's so beautiful that I will wear this alone just to have a more smooth complexion. I typically lean towards more hydrating primers. This one is not not hydrating, but you know, it's not the most hydrating, but this is a smoothing primer that I can visibly see smoothing my skin right away, and it feels nice and light. It doesn't feel heavy. So, this is one of the best primers that I've used for smoothing, and it happens to be super affordable. Essence for me, especially when it comes to more affordable brands, is the affordable brand of the year. Some of the stuff that they've been coming up with have become my all-time favorites. And they're also an unbelievably affordable brand. They're one of the most affordable affordable brands out there. So definitely recommend this one if you're looking for a nice lightweight primer that actually smooths and makes your complexion look good. I have three different foundations that I can't seem to put down this year. This first one is lighter coverage. This is what I've been wearing as a mother now who gave birth this year, right? when I just want to throw on something that doesn't feel like I'm wearing makeup, but they just that just makes me feel better. Feel like I've put on skincare. I love the IT Cosmetics Doit All Sheer Tint Face Balm. I really like these balmy foundations. I need to try the new L'Oreal one, but I like this one because it almost feels cooling on the skin when I apply it. It's really hydrating. It looks nice and juicy. It's not heavy at all, but it does just enough evening. And I also think with this style of packaging, it is so quick to just grab my IT Cosmetics brush, dip it in here, paint my face, and I just look better hydrated, dewy. Like, I spent more time than I actually did, but it looks very fresh and not makeupy. So, if that sounds like something you would like, I highly, highly recommend this. I have loved the IT Cosmetics CC cream for years, but I actually like I think I like the Do It All better. It's a lot less coverage, but in a good way. I've appreciated less coverage a lot more this year, but these next products, they do have some coverage. This one is the most full coverage in today's video, the most full glam, but I think that this is one of the best matte foundations for dry skin. This year, Rare Beauty launched their soft matte foundation. And I think it is one of the best for dry skin. It still is a matte finish, so you do need to prep your skin properly, of course, that's common sense. But when my skin is prepped properly, this is a gorgeous medium to full coverage foundation, not quite reaching full. But with it being a soft matte finish, it does blur over the pores. It's a little bit more longasting if it's going to be a longer day. And I don't think it looks heavy now. It's it's a fuller coverage, so it's not going to look super natural and skin-like, but when I'm reaching for this, that's not what I'm looking for. So, when it comes to wanting more full coverage this year, this is the one that I've been looking for. And if you're looking for a dry, skin friendly matte foundation that doesn't suck the life out of you, but gives you some more coverage, highly recommend this. It just makes the skin look really soft, velvety, and plush. Now, if I'm looking for a more medium coverage, something that is hydrating to my skin, it's not necessarily glowy. I would say this is more of a satin finish. But on the daily, when I've been wanting that medium coverage, I've been really loving the Mary Phillips Lace Skin Foundation or Less Skin. It is as thin as water. It's a watery consistency, but it packs quite a punch. Much more coverage than I thought it would. It smells like coconut water. That's just something I really enjoy. And it just feels nice and hydrating on the skin. It feels lightweight, but it gives enough coverage. I've just been loving this as an everyday medium coverage satin finish foundation. And I've used it a ton this year. I have a couple new concealers, both of which are on the full coverage side. Like they're they're quite full coverage. This is actually one of the most full coverage concealers I've ever used. This is the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Blur Concealer. This is incredible if you are looking for a full coverage concealer. So, I have it under this eye. Sometimes I will even blend it out, thin it out, and put it all over as foundation, but I think that this is super smooth in finish. And sometimes, you know how a full coverage foundation can really make the under eyes look dry? This one does not. Now, it's not like a glowy under eye concealer. It is a matte concealer, but it doesn't dry out the under eyes. So, if you want something super full coverage, it is a matte finish, but it's not going to look too drying, this one will do the job for you, and it also can be used in place of foundation as long as you thin it out. I think it's incredible. The performance is great. But this one does remind me of the Charlotte Tilbury. It's not quite as thick. It's a thinner consistency, but it still packs a punch with the coverage, great wear time, and best part, super duper affordable. Not the last of Essence you'll see in this video, but they launched the Silky Blur Hydrating Longwear Concealer. And if you sold this at $29.99, it still would be worth it. That is how high quality the formula feels. It has a very silky smooth texture with a surprising amount of coverage. This is like the definition of a little goes a long way style of product. And I the performance is of a high-end price point for like $6. Again, very full coverage. I would say comparing it to the Charlotte Tilbury directly, it's a little bit lighter and it doesn't wear quite as long as the Charlotte Tilbury, but again, the Charlotte Tilbury is like so much more money. Both are great. I recommend both, but the essence, the value there is just incredible. All right, let's talk powders. I actually need to do a full powder breakdown of all the powders that I tried this year because it's been a good year of powder launches, but the ones that have come out on top. First, we have a loose powder that is incredible and is sold at an incredible price point. I mean, the E.L.F. Set it bright correcting and brightening setting powder is super thin but extremely blurring. It reminds me a lot of the Givvon She powder, the OG formula, not not this new illuminating formulation. And it feels like the Huda Beauty as well, but just a little bit more thin. So, it looks a little bit more natural on the skin than the Hood of Beauty. Don't get me wrong, I love my Hood of Beauty. Like, this is not I'm just explaining the difference. This is a little bit more lightweight than the Huda Beauty. Yeah. Again, another product where it's a little bit more on the affordable side, even though E.L.F. is playing with us when it comes to those prices. Okay, they're affordable still, but like every few months I feel like the prices are creeping up. Anyways, besides the point, it still is an affordable powder that performs with my favorite high-end and luxury powders, so I must mention it. I've been using it almost every day since it's launched. I I still have it in my speed reviews drawer. I need to put that in a speed review soon. Okay. And then I have two absolutely amazing pressed powders. I tend to favor a loose powder just because they're more blurring, but these two will not disappoint you. So, the first one actually is Hooded Beauty. She launched and reformulated, rebranded the Easy Bake Press to actually perform like the loose powder. I still don't think it's as good as a loose powder, but I think it's about as good and blurring as you can get in a pressed form. And sometimes you just need a pressed powder. I used it today. It's extremely blurring. Like I said, the Huda Beauty loosening powder is one of my all-time favorite powders, and this is almost as close as you can get to that. So, there's a time and a place for a pressed powder. So, I'm happy to have that in my collection. And then, I mean, this was one of those products where it changed my routine. I have officially added it to my everyday routine. Now, you guys don't know this, but behind the scenes when I get ready, I have a drawer next to me. It's a little IKEA drawer of just staple products that I reach for for the daily. You know, my Rare Beauty brow gel, whatever eyebrow pencil I'm using, my favorite moisturizer, blah blah blah blah. My hood of beauty powder, blah blah blah blah blah. This I added to that drawer. So, that's how you know anytime I do my makeup, I can't do it without this. It's this guy. And I know it was an extremely controversial product, but it must be talked about. It must be mentioned because the formula is just so good. So, this is the Patrick Todd Transition Blurring Blush Duo. I do favor the shades shy at first, but Patrick Patrick, please get this in like regular skin tone shades. I don't care about the transition blush coloring of this. This is just the best shade available for me to put on my under eyes. I love this for my under eyes. So, I still need to set with a loose powder, but this over top seals in the blur all day and it makes the under eyes look even more blurred. So, as I've be begun to age, right? Like, I know I'm still young, but I do notice I'm struggling more with my under eyes more than ever. And once this product entered my routine, it's brought me back a few years. It's just given my under eyes this extra blur that I used to have years ago that I just didn't have anymore. I don't know how. is just so lightweight and blurring on the under eyes. So, I finished with this. This is almost like my Hourglass finishing powder for the under eyes. So, I I need this. I need this, Patrick. I need a skin tone shade. Please, I'll pay double the price. >> It's just essential for me now just with how blurred it makes my under eyes look. And a result of it, since I have to use the pink shade, I've been wearing a lot more pink blushes. So, I'll share with you some of those favorites. But let's talk cream bronzers. I have two. I don't think I've ever had so many affordable products. This product next product is not affordable, but just I'm looking at my table. I don't think I've ever had so many affordable products in an ultimate roundup video, but they have brought it. The drugstore has brought it in 2026. Well, I guess I'll talk about the drugstore option. It wasn't supposed to be next, but it will be. So, this year, L'Oreal launched these Lumi Bronze Lace Sticks. And I don't think these are like the best cream stick formula, but they're very unique, which is why I've added them. Particularly this Lumi Lit bronze shade, 100 sun-kissed rose. This is the perfect bronzer blush hybrid. It's like a rosy bronzer. And I think it's stunning right in the middle of the cheek or just as an all-in-one situation. I do not have another bronzer, blush, whatever that is a shade like this. And then I also did show you and demo the shade 120 copper bronzette, which is a true bronzer shade. This has a very unique shimmer to it. Now, this isn't like an all-time favorite uh bronzer stick, but the color of it, it's not metallic. It almost looks like it here in the stick form, but it doesn't apply that way. Also really nice. Lasts a long time. But I did want to shed light on Sun-Kissed Rosé in particular because that shade is just so unique and overall it's one of the best bronzer sticks I've tried at the drugstore by far. Um, and then the nonaffordable option but like so beautiful. It's just one of those products that quite literally works itself out, blends itself out. It's from Hung Van Go. This is the Trans Sculpt Bronzing Contour Balm. I go between two shades. I think Present is more so of my everyday shade. It's a little bit more neutral, a little bit lighter. I've really preferred a lighter colored bronzer this year. Not too different from my natural skin tone. But if I'm going for like a bronze, I'll go with the shade intentional. I've been loving the complexion products from Han Veno because I do feel like he leans a little bit more neutral. He doesn't go too warm or too cool with it, which is what I typically prefer. And I'm talking foundation and this bronzer I typically prefer for my complexion shades. Anyways, it's also super duper creamy, but like still has enough stick that it lasts and pretty much works itself out, which is, you know, if I'm spending a lot of money on a product, I don't want to have to put elbow grease into it, and I don't have to with this product. So, this is definitely one of the best cream bronzers I've worked with, and I just like the overall packaging of it. It's nice to just dip my brush directly in this and apply it straight to the face, quick and easy. There's a couple powder bronzers that I've been loving. And something to keep in mind with my powder bronzer choices is I'm almost always using a cream bronzer first. I think they just melt into the skin and make the makeup look more natural and skin-like. So, most of the time if I'm using a powder bronzer, I'm setting my cream bronzer. So, when it's come to my powder bronzer, I look for something that's lightweight and airy and isn't going to be patchy or stick to my cream bronzer. So just keep that in mind and you'll see that these have a lighter level of pigment and they give a very airbrushed effect on the face. So the first one that I have is from say this is the super suede radiant baked bronzer. So a baked bronzer is a really great option if you also apply cream bronzer first. So it's just really silky and lightweight. I really love this color alafi. The only thing I hate is the packaging. Like the back gets all scratched up. It's plasticky. It doesn't give high-end to me. But the product absolutely does. You can see how airbrushed it looks. So, this won't stick to my cream bronzer at all. So, I've used this a lot. And then Essence, she's back again. They launched this soft touch line, which everything they launched in that line is incredible. But in particular, the bronzer stood out to me, and you won't believe that they're literally $6. So, these are the soft touch butter bronzers, and just like say, these apply very airbrush. Now, these are a true powder. They're not baked, so they might have a little bit more stick to them than the say, but I mean, you wouldn't know with how airbrushed these apply. So, this is a beautiful bronzer for both setting cream bronzer or just on its own because it applies so nice and even. So, you can't go wrong with this $6 bronzer. It has such high-end expensive performance. Cream and liquid blushes. Again, I really favored a cream blush this year because they melt into the skin. They look very natural. They keep such a juicy appearance and I love powder blushes, but I have heavily leaned towards using liquid or cream. And I've talked about these a lot so much on my channel, but these are the best liquid blush that I've tried all year from Pixie Beauty. They are the liquid glows. In particular, I recommend the shade peie. And then I also think the shade pretty, which is kind of more of a highlightery shade, but layering these two are absolutely incredible. If you're looking for the perfect rosy pink glowy cheek, the combination of these two are unreal. So, these are a thinner liquid, but they don't mess with the base at all underneath and they last such a long time. They the colors the colors that Pixie has in these are incredible. It's just overall an incredible liquid blush performance with beautiful shades that melt into the skin so nicely that it's very versatile with this consistency because you can mix it with different products. You can mix it up into your concealer, you can blend it with concealer, put it all over the under eye if you're looking for that pink effect. I've love those. So versatile, so high quality. And then these are super awesome from Jones Road. literally heard not another soul talk about these. But these are a product that I tried at random one day and I was absolutely floored. These are the blushing sticks from Jones Road. And these are a balm stick, which I'm anti-balm stick. I don't love a balm formulation, but these the performance is just so great. These balm sticks, they are balmy. They are a little bit sticky, but they're not too sticky. And what I find incredible about these is not only do they make my cheeks look super bouncy and plushy and youthful, but they also apply like a lipstick. Like they stick to the lips without looking like they're sitting on top of the lips. They don't attach themselves to dry patches. They don't sink into the fine lines, which I find a lot of balmy blush sticks, they claim to be for lips, but they look weird on the lips and they separate. Not these. These just make my lips look beautifully hydrated, really even application. So on quick makeup days, think with the IT Cosmetics Do It All Balm. Putting this over top, still super glowy, still super dewy. Also throwing it on the lips. I love the twoin- one products. So this is like an amazing product if you want that dewy, fresh look and you're trying to get out the door really quickly. The performance in those is incredible. As well as the wear time. I just hate like the magnetic packaging because you can't stack these next to each other. It's super annoying. And then the last stick formula that I've had, this is not a new product, but it's one that I've reallen in love with this year from Dior Beauty. These are the backstage Rosie Glow face sticks. And funny enough, you know, when I first reviewed these when they launched a couple years ago, I was like, I didn't see anything really special about these. And then I purchased a new color this year and I was like, wait, I really love the performance of these because they are dewy and glowy on the cheeks, but they also have tack to them without being sticky. And in particular, I swatched a couple shades. Candi is that more orangey shade and pink is the pink shade. But in particular, my favorite shade this year that I can't put down is Rosewood. This is the perfect everyday rosy blush. It doesn't apply like super creamy or liquidy on the cheeks, but it applies exactly where you want it to go and then just like melts into the skin and the finish of it. It's glowy, but it's not like sparkly or going to emphasize texture or anything like that. Great longevity. Just a beautiful everyday stick to throw on. And you know, the packaging is also so beautiful. And then I have a couple powder blushes, which I've been favoring liquids and creams, but a powder blush is so important for longevity or if you don't want your hair to stick to your face. Again, I recommend applying with my Morphe brushes that I recommend it. But this year, Laura Mercier came out with these blush color infusion duos. And if you've watched my channel, I've been recommending Laura Mercier blushes for such a long time because they're a great solid formulation. They have beautiful wearable shades and they redid their blush line this year and they added these like duo blushes. So, this used to just be one solid color, but this new one has more of a glowy side and a matte side. And what I love about these is you can customize what you want. Like I demoed using just the more glowy side to add a little bit of additional glow. I also demoed mixing them both together. And the shades are also really gorgeous. I have strawberry and then luchi is the more warm shade. They apply so beautifully on the skin. They don't skip, they don't stick to your cream blush too much. You can apply this on its own as a blush or you can apply it and layer it to set your cream blush. And I just look for a solid formula. And this is even more solid than the original. It's even more soft. It's more modernized. It's more customizable. So, I was excited to see that they redid this, which I know can sometimes be a bad thing, but it really only meant good things. Completely modernized and refreshed this. And it makes more sense this formula for how people are doing their makeup nowadays. And then this is more so shade than formula. I do like the formulas here. I think I overhyped the formula in the beginning. It's it's a powder blush, but the shades are so great. So, MAC launched their skin finish color blushes. And the shade that has stood out to me time and time again. I just keep reaching for it is Sunbask. So, it's that shimmer finish, but it's barely barely any deeper than my skin tone. It's quite close, but it has this pretty golden finish. So, I've loved this for layering over top of warm blushes or if I'm just going for a really natural look. I don't want too much color on my face, but I want a golden glow. I will use this. And then it's the MAC blush formula. So, you can be reassured that it's going to last a long time. It has a beautiful application, but this glow is so subtle. It's not glittery. It's like kind of a you turn your face and you see the golden glow, but it still is a blush. So, it does add a base color. It is just gorgeous. I wish I had more cheeks on my face to demo them it for you, but I didn't. I didn't get to demo it for you today cuz I just had so much other cheek products to recommend. And then finally, my favorite highlight, which I have not been using a lot of highlighters this year. But Givoni did launch these Prism highlighters, and they are incredible. Everything I could want in a highlight because they melt right in, but they act like I'm a little like 2016 glowish without being too much. Particularly, I've loved the shade Pearly Gold when I went a little bit brighter. But honestly, the one I've been using the most is Rossy Gold, which when you look at it, it could look like could be a little bit deep on the cheek, but it's perfect. It melts right into your blush shade without being too light and bright, and it doesn't emphasize texture in a way that highlighters should emphasize texture. It's not a glow from within. It's a little bit more kapow, but not too much kapow. It's just a perfect modern highlight formula for the girls who love a little bit of glow. It's not going to be super natural. So, haven't been able to put these down. This is just one of those moments where for me, I can tell the luxury performance in this, even though the packaging, it's not given luxury. Let's move on to my most used eye product. So, the first one that I have is the eyeshadow palette so far that I've used the most. There is one that I've recently tried that's like kind of fighting with this one, but I'm we'll see how it plays out at the end of the year. But anyways, the Natasha Denona tan palette, it's just like it's not an exciting palette. It's not the best palette she's ever launched, but it's what I've been reaching for truly. And when push comes to shove, that's the most important thing because the tones of the browns in here are just what I'm going for for the everyday. Yeah. I mean, there's nothing particularly special about this palette other than I really like the colors and they're colors that I reach for every day. And this is a palette that you can't get a lot of looks with. It's like my review I was just hesitant because I was like I love it but it's like not the best. Like it doesn't have a ton of variety. You can't create a bunch of looks but it just happens to be great quality and colors that I really like. It's really great for one and done two and done eyeshadow looks. The mattes are really great to just create a background. I've been loving like shadow sticks and stuff like that this year. So I've been using a lot less palettes. But even when I use shadow sticks, I'll still reach for this to get my background shades. I didn't show you the base look that I created because I recorded it and then my camera wasn't recording. It like turned off. But but I just used I think paddle soft spa and sandal today. Just these basic brown shades for the background here. And that's kind of my two cents on this. Nothing super special. Didn't need it. You already have these colors, but like I've been reaching for it a lot. So it is a favorite of mine. But I've been more in love with like individual eyeshadows, which I never thought would be the case. Single eyeshadows, these are my most used so far. So Marc Jacobs Beauty, their Born Star eyeshadows are incredible. And I do need to check out more shades, but I cannot put the shade shady down. It is the perfect everyday champagne, but it's not even everyday. It's got that special really smooth, glossy, wet finish to it. So, it's almost not everyday, but it's an everyday color with that extra luxury price point. You can see it in the actual quality of the eyeshadow. Like, this is worth the extra bucks. This kind of finish. I did hear somebody with oily eyelids say that they struggled with this for longevity. I don't have oily eyelids. I haven't struggled with that, but that is something to keep in mind. But the shade shady from Marc Jacobs is unreal. And you'll see I'm mostly into like this all over champagne kind of glow. So, another product that I discovered this year, this was my first experience with the Ilia Eye Stylish Shadow Stick, but sometimes eyeshadow sticks I find can make the either look very textured or dry, but not this one. Now, I only have this shade. I can't speak for the others. I just got another one from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, but the one I've been loving is Venetian because it's such a smooth champagne color. There are a little bit of reflex in here, but not enough to make the eyelid look dry, but it does give a little bit of extra dimension to the eyelid. And this does not crease on me. It feels really lightweight. It dries down. So, this one has been really beautiful. You know, I'm tied down to my Laura Mercier. I think Laura Mercier has the best eyeshadow sticks, but I have been reaching for this for all over my eyelid a lot. And then if I'm looking for something a little bit more glittery, I have been loving the Tower 28 Go Cooling Shimmer Stick, particularly in the shade Chateau. So, this one has almost like that gel kind of consistency. And you'll see in my application, something weird happened where it was getting pissy on my application, but it was very easy to just blend away, but that normally doesn't happen. I don't know why that happened today. It got a little chunky today, but it still was very easy to work with. But anyways, so this one dries down. It's almost water thin and it dries down to be completely budge proof. So, this is a product where if you have oily eyelids, I would go with this one because it's like unbudgeible. It's very thin because it dries down. Think of like a gel, right? You put it on, it's like water thin and then it dries down and it's completely unbudgable. So, that's this formula with such pretty light golden glitters in there. So, this one is a little bit more sparkly, which I like as well. So, those are like my go-to eyelid colors recently. I know, very boring, very natural, very wearable, but that's just the season that I'm in. That's what I'm liking for my makeup. And I'm not anti- eyeshadow whatsoever. But I have like toned down what I'm using on the daily. I'm not in my 20s anymore. When I feel like when I put on too much eye makeup, I walk past myself in the mirror and I'm like, that's like too much. So, all of these have been eye looks and eye products that I felt really confident in. I don't have any mascara. I'm still using my favorite mascaras, my regular mascaras. I've tried some good new mascaras this year, but nothing really that has impressed me so much. I'm thinking the new Merritt mascara is incredible. But, I tried that after I made this list. So, again, we'll see if that comes out at the end of the year as a favorite. But I am loving that new Merit mascara. But there's Anyways, yeah, I'm still using my regular mascaras. [laughter] Okay, we're going to move on to the lips category. I have just a few. You know, I've talked about this a lot. I'm so fatigued of lip products, of lip launches. Something has to be really good for it to actually stand out to me. So, I've been using a lot of triedand-true favorites. I've been going back to these products and I honestly I think it's a pretty big deal that I'm mentioning these because I'm so sick of lip products. But I do love a lip liner. There's two colors that I've been using a lot. So the first one, think more neutral everyday contour. I cannot get enough of Westminatilier lip liner in the shade biscuit. If you love like a soft brown contoury color lip liner, this is going to be incredible for you. It has great longevity even though it's not a gel, so it doesn't necessarily set down. You're able to like blend it, but I think that's what makes it such a beautiful contoury lip liner that goes with anything you put over top. I've been loving a rosy lip because it's much more natural. So, if I put this around my lips and then the rose over top, it just makes my lips look 10 times more full. So, for that brownie contour color that I'm always loving, been loving Westminatilier. And even though I do prefer a gel lip liner, I've been actually loving that this isn't a gel lip liner. But here is a gel lip liner that I've been loving. This shade in particular, I mean, this is YSL. You don't need to spend this much to get YSL, but I have been loving the formula, and I have been loving this color. So, this is one where it's like a color specific that recommendation, but this is the YSL Love Nude Kiss Shaper in the shade 102. So, these colors were specifically designed to be sculpting. This one has a little bit more peachy mauve in it as you can see comparing it to Biscuit from Westminatilier. But this one has great longevity and it's extremely natural. So if I don't want like a crazy lip look, I just want something that's going to fade beautifully and make my lips look more full, this is what I'm going for. And it's kind of soft. Like it doesn't have like a blurred look to the lips, but it looks soft, which I think makes it look more natural. Again, these two lip liners pretty much go with almost everything that I've put over top of my lips. And I think they make my lips look nice and full without looking like I overlined them too much. There are two different of these stupid like lip butter balm formulas. Again, so sick of the launches, but I'm not going to lie, these two I was like, "Okay, these are these are really good." So, it's okay that they launched these. So, Patrick Ta launched his version. He calls these the major moisture smoothing lip balms. I mean, these are on par with think summer Fridays and road. They smell nice and buttery. I like the colors. I think it's deep shades have enough pigment, but they are extremely hydrating. They have a really nice gloss. They fill in the lines of the lips. So, if you're looking for just a nice high quality butter balm situation, I do like the Patrick Ta. I like these more for color. And then if we're thinking like hydrating, these are a little bit more cutesy, but these are by far the best drugstore butter balms I have tried. These are the best butter balms at the drugstore. They're from CoverGirl. These are the squishy glaze lip butter balms. And these were a launch where I received them in PR and I almost just threw them right into my giveaway bin. And then I tried one actually and I said, "Hold up." and I went and I picked them back out because these not only are the best formula, but they also have the best flavors and I think the flavors are super important in these style of products. My favorite is Toasted Marshmallow. That one is clear. Now, Raspberry Twist and Fresh Plum are actually going to give you a great amount of pigment. The rest are pretty clear, but what the scent is is what they smell like on the lips. Like raspberry twist, peach gummy, cotton candy grape, fresh plum. also extremely hydrating, of course, and very glossy. These are even more glassy than the Patrick Ta. So, I love both for kind of different reasons, but when it comes to hydrating and like a clear gloss situation, I'm going to reach for the CoverGirl. And just on the affordable front there, they are the best. Now, my favorite lipstick that's actually been new that I've added into my rotation this year has been from Charlotte Tilbury. And I always talk about like Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks are so expensive. They are so expensive, but I love her colors and they are just a formula that I go back to, but this one shocked me. I picked this up during the savings event from Sephora. Gosh, these words are so tiny. These are the blush balm lip tints. So, again, sick of this formula, but I picked it up on a whim, and I am obsessed with this. It's very hydrating. If I'm having a dry lip day, this brings life back into my lips, but it makes my lips look plump. It has a buildable amount of color. I have the shade Pillow Talk Medium, which is my favorite everyday shade to just make my lips look more flush. And so, you'll see you can start off with just a little bit to get a very subtle tint, but you can really build it up. But I find that this gives that just bitten kind of lip color on me. And then it overall as a formula hydrates my lips. It's going to last longer because it's not like a really thick glossy balm. It's more of like a lipstick lip balm hybrid. So, that color does stay on my lips for a really long time while also wearing down gracefully. Unfortunately, I love this. Like, I wish I didn't love this so much, but it was just one of those products where I bought it to try it just to for my job, right, to get to know the formula. And then I was like, this is incredible. It's just a very well done formula of a formula style that is overdone. And then the gloss that I've been loving again, especially with lips with the fatigue, I tend to just reach for my favorites, but this one has entered the rotation. This is the Natasha Denona high gloss in the shade Chloe. I love this because it's a great everyday neutral color. I've been leaning more towards like more bold rosy lip colors for everyday, but this one when I want something more neutral because I've also been loving like brown liner, brown m not brown mascara, but I've done brown mascara, but brown eyelid, brown liner, brown lip. This is what I'm going for. And with this range in particular, the glosses have great pigment to them. And they have a little bit more tack, so they have some nice longevity. It's not the smoothest. It's not the thickest. It's not the glossiest gloss out there, but it deposits the perfect amount of pigment. And they advertise this as a gloss balm. Again, vomiting. All of these have the word balm in them. Every single one of these lip products today, but anyways, it is hydrating. It leans more towards gloss than balm. I just love this color so much, Chloe. And as you can see, I'm wearing this with the I think I've mixed both of the lip liners together. I think I started off with YSL. I ate dinner. No, I ate breakfast and then I refreshed with biscuit or the opposite. I can't remember, but they both serve the same purpose. And then finally, I have my favorite fragrance of the year thus far and it is another affordable one. If there's a more expensive luxury one that smells like this, well, there is one. It reminds me of vanil apricot. But if there's like if you know of another fragrance that is like a fruity gourmand, let me know. It reminds me so much of my wedding day perfume, which this one, let me tell you, is luxury. If you know of any more perfumes kind of in this family where it's like fruity, but it's really vanillay and gourmandi, please let me know because I would like like a higher quality one. But this is the Pacifica Sugared Apricot. And it smells like a sugary apricot without being too too fruity. I just love this scent. Like I feel like I could drink it and bathe in it. That's how much I love this scent. So if you can think of anything else, I want to know. I'm addicted to this. This is my second one, you guys. This is my second one. That's how damn good it is. Oh, because I can kind of smell like there is a cheaper element to it. I don't mind it, but you know, if I can get something even higher quality, I want it. And by the way, if you are into gourmans like me, this is the year of gourman fragrance. I have in a corner on my shelf like a bunch of different new gourmand fragrances that so good. I'll do a whole like Tik Tok or something on them. I already have that listed. So, anyways, it's a good year to be a Gourmand girl. Let me just say that. But there we have it, my friends. But these are all products that I've used numerous times over and over again and are products that I find myself reaching for when I know I want to have a good makeup day.
