Best GLOOM Farm For New Players! 400 Every 30 Secs! Fastest Early Level Up Guide - Mortal Shell 2
Watch on YouTubeVideo summary
In this Mortal Shell 2 guide, the creator DPJ introduces what he considers the most efficient early-game method for farming Gloom, a crucial resource for leveling up quickly. Immediately after completing the prologue and entering the open world, players can head directly to a specific location near the Widows Overlook beacon without engaging in any difficult combat. The strategy involves running into a gate that leads to an area populated by passive creatures resembling sheep or lambs, which do not fight back and simply respawn instantly upon being defeated. By repeatedly killing these harmless entities, players can accumulate approximately 400 to 450 Gloom per run within just thirty seconds to a minute, making it significantly faster than other available farming spots in the game's early stages.
To maximize the efficiency of this farm, the video recommends utilizing specific items that boost Gloom and gold gains, such as the Gloom Band Stone and the Justice Sea Stone, which the creator links to a separate guide for details on how to obtain them. Additionally, players are advised to use heavy weapons or their starting sword to quickly dispatch the passive enemies, as faster attacks allow for quicker respawns and higher overall earnings. The route to this farm is straightforward but requires navigating past a few minor obstacles, including avoiding certain enemies near the spawn point and dodging traps inside the gate. Along the way, players should also cleanse any beacons they encounter to ensure the area remains safe and fully explored before reaching the final destination where the farming takes place.
Once inside the gate, players must navigate through an area containing traps and a few aggressive enemies like spiders and worms that can interrupt the process if not handled carefully. The creator suggests dodging these threats or running past them depending on current health levels, while also avoiding explosive bodies in the water to reach the final beacon safely. After cleansing this beacon and crossing the bridge, players will find themselves in the Sunken Village area where the passive sheep-like creatures are located. This spot allows for indefinite farming as long as the player feels they need more levels, offering a reliable source of resources without the risk of taking significant damage from hostile foes.
The guide concludes by emphasizing that this farm is currently one of the best options available because many similar locations found in the game's beta version have been nerfed or removed in the full release. By exploiting this specific spot while it remains effective, new players can rapidly level up their characters and prepare for the challenges ahead without wasting time on inefficient grinding methods. The creator encourages viewers to take advantage of this opportunity immediately upon starting their journey, as relying on other farms might result in slower progression and less Gloom accumulation per minute. Overall, the video serves as a practical tutorial for anyone looking to optimize their early game experience in Mortal Shell 2 by securing a high-yield resource farm with minimal risk.

So guys, I am back with yet another
Mortal Sha 2 video. And today guys, I
bring you without doubt the best, the
very best early game gloom farm. You can
do this right off the bat. As soon as
you exit the prologue and enter the open
world, you can come to this point. Can
farm these. I wouldn't even say they're
enemies because they don't fight back.
Get 400 450 per run. Can take you like
30 seconds to a minute. And again, you
can do this right off the bat. No
enemies, just pure gloom gains. Let's
go. How's it going, guys? My name is
DPJ. And if you do enjoy the video,
leaving a like. It really helps out. And
if you like what you see and want to see
more, be sure to subscribe.
Okay, so this is located within this
gate right here where I'm at right here,
guys. But you come here right off the
bat. As soon as you exit the prologue,
you'll come to the Widows overlook
beacon. And then you can just run across
to this point right here, guys. And I'll
show you the exact path you need to take
uh a little later on in the video. But
you'll come to this beacon right here. I
think all the beacons in this area have
the uh actually the sunken village
beacon. So yeah. And then guys, you'll
come across this bridge and you'll see
that we have in here. I think there's
sheep. Um and each one of these guys
give you 50
50
of that gloom. Now what I will say is
I'm using a slow heavy weapon. You can
do this much faster than what I'm doing
and earn it even more efficiently. These
things don't fight back people. There's
probably even a quicker way of doing
this. Obviously, it will take a little
bit of progression on your behalf, but
either or. I'm getting 450 per run. You
simply run back to the beacon.
Simply just enter it, reset, and it's
simply respawn. And you can do this for
as long as you like. And again, early
game, this is easily Oh, I missed that
one. Then easily the best. There's
nothing better than this that I've seen.
Again, you you're fighting sheep or
lamb. I can't can't really tell. Um, but
yeah,
they look like sheep. Yeah. But yeah,
[laughter] but either or I'm getting
400. I think it's normally 400. I've got
a couple of items on which I do
recommend you actually getting. I'll
link a video in the video description in
regards to these two items. What they do
is they give you gains on your gloom and
gold. So yeah, these are the Let's go to
my tar stones. So it's uh this thing
right here, the gloom band stone.
Obviously, the more you use it, the more
you'll earn. And also guys, this one
right here, the justice sea stone. These
are incredible in regards to gold coins
and that gloom you're going to be
earning from slaying those enemies. So
yeah, I'll link that video in the video
description, but it's definitely worth
your time in getting these two for sure
people. So this actual um spot, let me
go to
um the very first point of where you
will indeed guys spawn in so I can then
just showcase you the route. So this
over here, the Widow's overlook is where
you initially spawn in off the bat after
completing the prologue. And you can,
guys, just run straight to this point.
There's nothing you have to fight.
There's nothing. I mean, there's a few
enemies you have to avoid, but other
than that, guys, you are good. So from
the beacon, guys, take a right and run
down this way. Is actually quite quite
simple. There's probably one thing that
may be in your way that you may have to
try me snider to get past. Other than
that, guys, you are good. So, we're just
going to run past these dudes right
here. Dodging, whatever. And you want to
take a hard left through these doors
right here. I'm just going to run up
this hill because there is a beacon
along the way, which you probably want
to actually activate while you're here.
And I always recommend you cleansing
these beacons, too, guys. But yeah, this
is that beacon right here. So, let me
pull up my map to show you where I am
at. So, we are right here, guys. And
then, guys, we're just going to run down
to this point right here. Another
beacon. So, yeah, take a right. Come
this way. And you'll see bridges in the
slight distance there. We're actually
going to run past this first one. You
can take that left, but come back on
yourself. You might as well just run
down here.
>> So, yeah, we're just going to run past
this dude. run straight down this hill
past all these bodies. And we're just
going to run over here just like so. And
we have here another beacon. And this is
the beacon right before this gate. So
yeah, now we're just going to run into
the gate which again guys can just
literally run straight into.
So bada boom. And once you are in here,
guys, just going to run around here. Now
the only thing about here is there's
traps. You can dodge past these if you
want to or just run through them.
depends on your health, but dodge. Um,
if you got low health, then guys, run
past this dude, dodging, doing what you
can to get away from him. Run up this
hill.
And then, guys, want to take a a left
here. Run around here. Run past this
dude. Now, we're in the sunken village.
Uh, stick to well, keep everything on
your right and just run this way.
Literally simply that. When you first
come here, it's probably going to be a
spider that jumps down. Can get past him
quite easily. There is a beacon here.
But if you're struggling is if he's
hitting you trying to activate this,
just run straight over this bridge. Can
always come back to that. But yeah, so
once we're in here, guys, the only thing
here guys you have to worry about is the
worm or that snaky thingy right there.
It will try and lunge at you. So just be
careful. And then guys, you want to come
across this water here. Avoid the
exploded dudes. And you want to look
through and go to this point right here.
And then guys, we are literally at the
said beacon. So, it's going to rest. Ba
boom. And then guys, you have the beacon
unlocked. Cleanse it. Then come through
across the bridge.
And what you'll see here, guys, is
indeed
no sheep. And again, these you can just
farm indefinitely for as long as you
like until you have you feel you have
enough levels. And again, obviously I've
leveled up a bit already, so I ain't
going to get as many levels as probably
you would starting a game, but again,
this has got to be the best early game
farm. I mean, I've seen a couple of
other spots which are quite the the
decent, but the enemies you're fighting
will take you longer than what these
sheep will. Plus, you probably won't get
as much efficiently. And considering you
haven't really got to fight anything
here, you're literally just swinging
your weapon. And as I said guys, I'm
using
a big old heavy weapon. I mean, if you
got this the starting sword, it's going
to be much quicker for you to take these
guys out. So yeah, people, it's one I
definitely recommend you taking
advantage of because as we know from um
the actual beta of the game, a few of
the amazing spots from that have been
nerfed out. They're not available to use
um in the full game. So yeah, you're
probably going to keep on top of farms
like this. So use and abuse it while you
can,
people. And there we have it, guys. An
amazing early game gloom farm. Guys,
you've enjoyed the video, leaving a
like. It really helps out. If you like
what you see and want to see more, be
sure to subscribe. And hopefully, guys,
I will see you on that next
one.
