beautiful Austin, Texas. With me today I
have Jack Becker, Executive Vice
President of Provident Data Centers.
Morning, Jack.
>> Thank you, Nicole. It's it's uh
wonderful to be here.
>> Thank you. All right. So, what recent
company news, milestones, or innovations
are you excited to share with us today?
>> Well, that's a that's a very timely
question because we have our um a press
release going out today actually
announcing our partnership with
Northampton Capital Partners.
Um
they are uh uh venturing with us on our
inference platform.
And uh and we're also announcing our
first have a first-of-a-kind uh product
going live or actually breaking ground
in October going live in late 2027
delivering 54 megawatts critical
inference capacity into North Dallas,
North Dallas corridor, which as you
know, is highly constrained uh
area. So, we're very excited to uh
actually I think the press release may
not even be out yet, so you're
hearing it here first.

All right. So, how is AI changing the
way data centers are designed, cooled,
and operated today?
>> Well, it it really
Yeah.
Over the past few years has changed the
way that data centers are designed and
and operated from the ground up. Um and
I can go into a lot of detail here,
which I'll spare you.
Um
but uh but fundamentally you have you
have greater densities of of power and
cooling that need to be
brought about more efficiently. There's
also a lot more community concern
>> Yes.
>> about data centers and their having in
the and so part of our inference design
is that it's really designed to be a
good neighbor
>> Okay.
>> first.
So that means that it's effectively a
zero water usage
and
a zero noise facility
that along with our sort of overall
community benefit type of arrangements
make for
really make for a good member of the
community
that that should be attractive to you
know understandably skeptical neighbors.
>> Yeah, absolutely. Well, that's wonderful
and I think bringing the community in is
really important.
All right. So for our last question in
one word, what factor do you feel is
going to define the future of digital
infrastructure?
>> Acceleration.
>> Ooh, good one.
>> And constraint. So so you have um
we are we are in a
in a world where um things are getting
faster but there's also a lot of sort of
tidal forces
>> Yeah.
>> that are saying hold up, not so fast,
we're not so sure about this. And that's
everything from the electrical you know
that's everything from the power grid to
to really neighborhood concerns. And so
finding that balance and being able to
engage with you know every stakeholder
it's it's more than a press release.
>> Yeah.
>> Heard somebody say it's it needs to be
like the Got Milk campaign. That was a
PR campaign. We need to be really in the
communities showing people and creating
local tangible benefits not just for the
end users but also for the sort of the
brick and mortar next door.
And and a big focus for us.
