Video summary
The video introduces a terrifying new entity known as Flesh-Borns, designated as Entity Number 89 within the Backrooms universe. These hostile creatures inhabit the dark, damp environments of Levels 0 through 5 and are characterized by their viral nature and reality-altering capabilities. Physically, they appear to be composed entirely of muscle tissue and sinew, lacking a traditional brain or internal organs. Instead, their behavior and growth are controlled by a microscopic colony of bacteria that organizes their tissues. This hive-mind bacterial structure allows the entity to coordinate complex movements and survive even after the host body dies, effectively hijacking fleshy vessels to spread infection and reproduce.
The life cycle of a Flesh-Born begins as a small, harmless-looking larva roughly 20 centimeters long that glides across floors using a slime it excretes from its stomach. These initial forms primarily consume drywall found in specific levels to absorb necessary minerals for their bacterial colonies, though they will also eat dead entities if needed. As they grow by consuming these materials, they undergo rapid evolution into a second stage where they double in size and develop four legs, allowing them to climb walls and ceilings for stealth attacks. During this phase, they construct massive nests from gathered corpse flesh in secluded areas to lay eggs, which hatch into new larvae, perpetuating the cycle of infection.
The final and most dangerous stage transforms the creature into a giant, arachnid-like beast reaching over 150 centimeters in length with robust limbs and a wide mouth capable of injecting victims with a fatal disease. Once infected, humans experience a gruesome progression: starting with mild fatigue and headaches, the bacteria rapidly spread to cause severe inflammation and muscle weakness before entering a final phase where organs shut down and appear to move inside the stomach. This process leads to excruciating pain and eventual disintegration into goo within approximately 24 hours if untreated. The video concludes by advising wanderers to avoid dark areas, use their sense of smell to detect rotting flesh indicating nearby nests, and never attempt to run from an encounter, as these entities are too fast to outrun.

As you know, I enjoy reading about
weird, strange creatures and entities
that the internet makes up. Typically,
the weirder, the better. And I made tons
of videos on these things over the past
6 years. But today in this video, I'm
excited to tell you all about a brand
new, freshly discovered Backrooms entity
known as Flesh-Borns.
These are odd, mangled life forms that
skulk around the dark and damp corners
of the first four Backrooms levels. They
have a ton of cool lore behind them and
a ton of interesting things to mention,
and they're pretty freaky. So, I'm
excited to talk about them today. If you
all want to hear an explanation like
that, then stick around for the video.
Leave a like for more entity
explanations if you want. If you don't
want to, you don't have to. And without
wasting any more of your time, let's get
into the Flesh-Born entity and see what
they're all about, shall we?
Entity number 89 of the Backrooms
resides on levels 0, 1, 2, 4, and 5. And
they can be encountered in a variety of
different ways. Flesh-Borns have been
classified as hostile due to their viral
nature, reality-altering effects, and
just general aggression. Interacting
with these creatures because of that
should be avoided at all times. From an
outside perspective, Flesh-Born entities
look to be made out of some sort of
muscle tissue and sinew. And at the
start, they take the rough shape of a
larva, kind of like a little worm thing.
[music] Their heads are large and
bulbous, and they have these mouths that
stick out pretty far. But again, that's
just how they look at the start. [music]
And I say that because they have an
entire life cycle where they grow and
expand and become [music] disgusting and
cannibalistic, and they like to eat
people eventually. We'll get into all
that in a second. But just for general
knowledge, the mouth part of the entity
is really what's the most dangerous part
of them because that's where they can
transmit extremely aggressive bacterial
infections through their saliva, as well
as biting you and eating you. But this
infection, if you don't get it treated,
this will lead to a ton of really nasty
stuff happening to you like your body
eating itself and you turning into
pretty much goo, which again, we'll talk
about that in a second. First, I want to
talk about their life cycle.
Flesh-borers have a sort of
morphological evolution that's triggered
by eating the drywall in specific levels
of the backrooms. That's right. I'm not
messing that up. You heard that right.
These things consume drywall. That's how
they grow. Well, at least at the start.
But it pretty much means that their life
cycle happens because they eat walls
that contain specific minerals for their
bacterial colonies inside their bodies.
And it just so happens that the walls in
level 0, 1, 2, 4, and 5, they have all
those necessary nutrients somehow. But
the more drywall a larva consumes, the
faster they evolve into their final
form. However, the initial and most
common form of a flesh-borer entity is
that larva stage. At this stage, they'll
only be about 20 cm long, 7 in for the
Americans listening. And at this stage,
they seem to be kind of just a bit of
muscly worm-looking thing. However,
despite only being 7 in long, they're
actually really fast when they move and
they can be really aggressive, too.
While slithering around these different
levels in these dark, damp areas, they
glide along the floor in a sort of snail
goo material that they excrete. They
excrete this from their stomach and they
use it as a slip and slide to help walk
around, slide around the backrooms
levels pretty quickly. And it's only in
this stage one when they use it. In the
larva stage though, this is when they're
the most harmless. They're not deadly,
but you still should not interact with
them because their main goal here is
just to eat drywall and then morph into
the next stage. It is important to note
that they do not only consume drywall in
this stage cuz if necessary, they have
been seen consuming the flesh of dead
entities and other things that are just
unknown. It seems as if they want to
maximize their nutrients in their body
at this larva area stage. While they do
that, that way they can become the the
strongest and fastest version of stage
two and three.
This is the stage when the larva begins
to grow in size exponentially. They
usually double in length and weight
during this stage, now being over 14
inches [music] long or 35 cm. On top of
this, they don't crawl around anymore.
They actually sprout four legs that walk
around and they can, you know, they're
way faster now. With these four legs,
they can actually crawl up walls and
hang off ceilings easily and they use
this as a nice stealth attack method.
But the main difference between stage
one and stage two, besides the legs
growing, is that the entities at this
point begin to build and construct their
nests, if you can call them a nest. Now,
they do this by gathering various pieces
of flesh that they find from corpses and
they cobble it and mangle it together
into this large fleshy nest structure.
You know how a bird in real life will
get straw and twigs and stuff and
they'll make this nice cute little
circular nest. These things, they go and
gather dead bodies and they bring it
together to make this gigantic behemoth
nest flesh blob. After a while, that
nest will start to grow and it'll
eventually spread itself and gain a sort
of sentience and life about it and it'll
attach on to all the structures close to
it. 99% of the time, these nests are
constructed in very damp, dark areas of
level zero through four. Areas where you
wouldn't necessarily want to be by
yourself. These places smell horrible,
like rotten flesh and iron and wet
leather and you should just never walk
near them really. But the reason, of
course, they're making these nests is
just because that's where they lay their
eggs to repopulate the next generation
of flesh-born entities. Once a
flesh-born lays these eggs, the cycle
starts over with the little baby larva
flesh-born inside, it'll pop and
eventually it'll, you know,
metamorphosize and grow. I'm assuming
you all know how eggs work. But after
the nest is made and they've laid their
eggs, the fleshborn will enter their
final state of life, the dangerous
arachnid stage. At this point in their
cycle, the fleshborn will be about 156
cm long, or 60 to 65 in, which is about
5 ft total. Their mouths will be at
their widest, and they'll be at their
most aggressive, too. Their little tiny
arms and legs will actually be large and
huge and robust now, and they'll be very
dangerous creatures. They'll start to
move around like a freaky fleshed spider
thing, and having the ability to walk on
walls and ceilings and floors. Like most
arachnids, fleshborn entities utilize an
ambush style of hunting to capture their
prey. And at this final and third stage,
they do this by cramming themselves into
small areas up inside ceilings or in
darker areas of level zero through four,
and they wait and they watch until
something or someone walks under them,
and at that point, they will jump down
and inject them with this sort of
disease that I was talking about
earlier, this cycle. And after that,
they'll just rip you apart. There's
really no special way. They they pretty
much only eat organs. In general, they
go for the heart, the liver, the
kidneys, and the brain. And they seem to
do this because that's what the entity
needs. It's like they're almost made up
of 100% muscle, so it takes a lot of
nutrients to sustain its activity, I
guess. I don't know how science in the
backrooms works. It makes no sense to
me, but it's pretty cool. Now,
fleshborns, while they are aggressive,
they're also patient. Like I said
earlier, they have this ability to wait
and ambush their prey, but something
other than that sticks out across the
these several documented encounters with
them, and it's pretty terrifying. Quote,
"Although it appears to be a living
organism because it is made of muscle
tissue, the fleshborn is not controlled
by a normal brain. Tests have shown that
from the larval form to the arachnid
form, it has a colony of bacteria.
During its development, the colony
organizes the fleshborn's tissues,
allowing it to evolve into its advanced
stages. Based on the tests and the
studies carried out, the flesh-born
apparently do not have organs. Also, and
noted that the whole body of the
flesh-born are formed by microscopic
networks between muscles and other
tissues. This allows the colony of
signals to go throughout the organism,
coordinating their movements, growth,
and behavior. The researchers also noted
that the colony remains active even
after the death of an infected organism
or wanderer, allowing it to survive long
enough to begin the reproduction process
using biological tissues to form new
larva. Because of this behavior, some
MEG researchers have hypothesized that
the true organism is the bacteria colony
itself, while the body of the flesh-born
acts only as a biological structure
controlled by the colony, in quote. So,
as you heard by that, the actual entity
of it all, the flesh-born, might be the
bacteria colony that controls what they
do. After they infect a human and
consume their tissues, the colony that's
injected inside of them will then pop
out new larva and become a new nest. The
cycle repeats over and over again, but
it seems like some sort of hive mind
bacteria-controlled colony that uses and
hijacks these fleshy bodies to attack
just to spread itself. Really, it
doesn't matter how it happens, it's
still a giant flesh spider that eats
people, but I thought it was pretty cool
nonetheless. But, as I mentioned the
whole video, they're not only dangerous
when they hunt, they're also extremely
toxic to be around physically,
especially if you touch their goo, I'm
going to call it, due to the infection
they cause when you come in contact with
it. Even if you survive an attack from
flesh-born, but you're bit during it,
you're still going to die. There's no
other way to say it, and I'm going to go
ahead and get into that process right
now.
The infection process of a flesh-born
happens in three notable stages or
phases, just like a flesh-born's life.
Stage one typically begins with a small
to mild headache and a little body ache
and minor chills. You might be tired,
might be fatigued, but pretty much you
feel like you're just getting sick
regularly, which was probably pretty
common in the backrooms cuz it's a dark,
it's a damp place with no sunlight, you
know, you probably get scurvy there as
well. But in this first stage, you
probably won't really know you're going
to be cooked. Now, stage two is when the
bacteria from that flesh-born will begin
to rapidly spread through your body.
Your headaches that you had at the start
will get extremely strong, and your skin
will become inflamed, and your stomach
will begin to hurt so badly you can
barely move. Your muscles will tense up
and become weak, and you'll feel pain
all over your body. You know, you'll
feel like you can't even move. If you
make it past this stage, you're into
stage three, and this is when wanderers
will experience the full brunt of pain
after being injected and infected by a
flesh-born entity. All of that headache
and stomach pain and fatigue and stuff I
just said, it becomes unbearable. You
feel as if you're going to explode from
the inside. Your organs begin to shut
down and move inside your stomach. They
squirm around, you can feel it
happening, and that causes all the
connecting pieces inside of you to
become disjointed and disconnected, and
you literally will feel as if you're
about to explode from your stomach. At
this point, you probably had 24 hours
left to survive if you're lucky, but
it'll be a very painful 24 hours of
pain, agony, [music] and wanting to end
it early. That being said, you just need
to avoid flesh-born entities at all
stages of their life and at any time
possible. The smallest version, the
little larva thing, avoid it. The big
version, avoid it. Never go too deep
into these backrooms levels where it's
dark, where you can't see, because they
might be hiding there to infect you and
to consume you. If you encounter one of
these entities, firstly, you should back
away slowly and don't turn around, don't
make eye contact. You kind of avoid most
encounters by using your nose to smell
where a flesh-born entity nest might be,
cuz if you smell rotting flesh, it's
probably because a flesh-born den is
nearby, obviously. So, if you smell
that, don't go further. It's It's not
complicated, just don't go. And if you
do encounter, never attempt to run away.
You can't outrun them. You You're just
going to get caught. Except me, I I
probably could outrun them. But yeah,
these flesh-born entities add a new
layer of horror and danger to these
early Backrooms levels, which are just
in general considered safe-ish, but
these things are so rare and lurk so
deep inside of them, most people don't
know they exist. Like I said, they're a
new emerged entity, and they're pretty
terrifying, and I would not want to
interact with a giant flesh spider that
will give me sick and then make my
stomach explode. That's it for the
video. Thank you for watching. Hope you
enjoyed. If you want more entity
explanations, please leave a like. Thank
you for all your amazing support. I love
and appreciate each and every one of
you. Let me know in the comments what
else you want to see on the channel. I
do have a lot coming, but I also want
your input, of course, and I want to
make sure that you all are enjoying the
video, so please leave a like. That way
I know. And with all that said, I will
go ahead and call it a day. My throat is
killing me. Sorry, I've been sick
recently. You probably heard in my
voice. I do apologize, but I love you
guys, and I'll see you all in the next
video. Peace.
