Video summary
In this episode of the Stock Swoosh show, Melissa Arma provides a detailed review of her trading performance regarding AVGO stock on September 3, 2026. The session began with the stock closing the previous day at $367.24 before gapping down in the morning to open at $351.74. From there, the price continued its decline, eventually falling all the way down to approximately $342. Arma highlights this as a beautiful downward move and emphasizes that she successfully captured most of the profit potential during this drop. She notes that while many traders exited their positions early due to the significant fall, which amounted to nearly five dollars from the game's start, she managed to hold her position longer than others in the room.
The core strategy demonstrated in this video revolves around Arma's preference for shorting stocks regardless of whether the broader market is bullish or bearish, as she favors fast and quick trades. Although the market rallied later in the day, which would typically be a different scenario for long positions, Arma remained committed to her short stance on AVGO because she anticipated further downside movement. She admits that she did not exit at the absolute low of the day, having initially predicted a drop to around $340 or $342.72, but she was still very satisfied with the entry point and the overall execution of the trade. Her ability to squeeze more value out of this specific move compared to other traders is a key takeaway from her aggressive approach to catching falling knives in volatile markets.
Looking beyond this single trade, Arma expresses great happiness with the entire week's performance, which allowed for a well-deserved long weekend. She uses this opportunity to reflect on the market's trajectory leading into September and notes that while predicting the market two days before a holiday like Labor Day is uncertain, the specific move on AVGO was exceptionally nice for her portfolio. The video serves as both a case study in her trading methodology and a celebration of a successful week where she navigated volatility effectively. Her commentary underscores the importance of sticking to one's strategy even when the market direction seems counterintuitive, reinforcing her belief that shorting can be profitable in various market conditions.
Finally, Arma concludes the review by inviting viewers who are interested in joining her community to sign up for a Labor Day special offer that runs through the holiday. She mentions that classes will be held in September and encourages interested individuals to email her at Melissa@thestockswish.com for more information. This promotional segment wraps up the technical analysis with a call to action, ensuring that viewers have the opportunity to engage further with her content. Overall, the video encapsulates a successful short trade on AVGO, highlighting the psychological discipline required to hold positions through volatility and the satisfaction derived from outperforming peers in a challenging trading environment.

Hello there everyone. Welcome. This is
Melissa Arma with the Stock Swiss
reviewing ABGO.
This was the Stock Swiss show play of
the day today. Let's take a look at it.
Stock closed yesterday at 36724. Gapped
down in the morning, opened at 35174.
Fell all the way down to 342 and change.
Beautiful move. And we did get I mean I
did get most of this move. Um had a good
exit in this and then it flipped. Look
at that. I mean, who would go long this?
But the market rallied today. Again,
that's a whole another ball game in a
different video. But we had a phenomenal
entry in this. And then I did hold it
down. A lot of people got out the bar
one literally because it fell almost $5
out of the game and we were in it there.
And then I tried to hold it, hold it,
hold it, hold it, hold it. I was able to
squeeze more of a chunk out of this than
I think pretty much anyone else in the
room. I didn't get it out of it at the
low of the day though. I mean, I thought
it was going to go to 340 34272,
but we had a we had a great entry in
this. Again, it was very aggressive. I
like the gap. Why did this flip? I think
a lot of it had to do with the market.
Again, the market ended up rallying
today. Who would go long the market two
days before holiday though? I have no
idea. But this was a very, very, very
nice move to the downside. For those of
you that don't know what I do, I mostly
short. I short in bullish markets. I
short in bearish markets. and I like the
fast quick trade. So, we got this AVGO.
Super happy with the whole entire week.
Glad to have a long weekend and we'll
see where the market goes for the month
of September. If you're interested in
